Finally here... and here was pretty creepy.
Michal looked around as the cockpit opened, checking out the scenery. It was an abandoned field, with a single dirt pathway that led to the castle. Said castle was wide and tall, with green spikes and crazy geometry. Whoever came up with it was either an architectural genius or a madman with a lot of duct tape.
Picking Izzy up and jumping deftly out of the ship, he set her down on the grass, hopefully without too much freaking out or objecting. He was a little too impatient to just wait for her to get out. After they had both exited, the ship swirled as if it was made of silly putty, and vanished. Smiling, Michal raised a hand. His comedy manifested a little as a black car keychain, which beeped twice as if the burglar alarm on the ship had just been set.
Turning toward the castle, he took a deep breath. "Ready?" Something moved in one of the windows quite suddenly, attracting his attention... but it was already gone. Was someone here?

Izzy yelped in surprise but did not resist. Setting down, she looked at the Castle. Memories flooded her mind and she felt week at the knees. "Michal." She spoke loudly, as he had run ahead. He had the right to know what happened...and why Castle Oblivion had been kinda...well, she could see some damage still repairing near the top. "I have to tell you something."
Whipping her wings out, she flew over and settled down in front of him. her eyes were already tearing up. "Michal, something happened to me here. This place..." She took a breath. "There was a conflict, a small war if you will, at a world called Rowan between an ancient creature and my aunt. But they were not the only party. A wizard named Darius...he captured me and brought me here...He tortured me, experimented...And...and..." Izzy lost all strength in her legs and fell to her knees. She covered her face in her hands and began to cry. "I killed my best friend!" she rattled out, a long, drawn out cry ending her line.
Then she broke down into tears, the site of Castle Oblivion breaking the dam, flooding the half-fairy with pure sorrow.

"I... oh..." Well, this wasn't going well. First off, he had no idea what she was talking about. Rowan, ancient creatures? This wasn't Rowan, was it? Who was Darius? Her story made little to no sense to a guy who had never heard any of these names, or known her best friend. In fact, he only gathered two things. She had been experimented on, and somehow she had killed her best friend. Perhaps the experiments had made her kill the friend? Like mind control? He couldn't say for sure.
But hey, you never really had to understand such things to comfort someone. More often than not, it was emotional babble, and they just needed someone to hold them. So he did. Michal wrapped his arms around her back and let her cry into his shoulder. "I'm sorry. If you want to wait here, I can go by myself. I'll survive in there. It would be unfair to ask you to go through that again."
He would have liked to say that there was nothing to fear, that the castle was empty. But there was that movement he had seen. It looked like a person- he was certain he had seen a face from the corner of his eye. Could people live in the castle, perhaps?

Izzy hugged back, sobbing into his shoulder. "I'm afraid you'll think badly of me...I'm afraid of this place Michal, and afraid of what it did to me." She clung tighter to Michal, afraid to break away. "I'm afraid you'll think badly of me for failing to fight against the drugs inside me." she whispered, falling into a fresh round of sobbing.
But the one thing Michal could be sure of, was that him holding Izzy was doing her some good at least, as her sobs started to fade away after a few minutes. She didn't move away from him, relaxing in the warm hug. "I want to go with you Michal. But I'm afraid something will happen to me, that I'll end up hurting you..." She sniffed. "I don't know what to do."

"Hey. Don't worry about that." Michal ran a hand through her hair, then pulled back a little so he could look into her eyes. "I won't let you hurt me. I know JeY won't let you hurt him. I can't say we'll all be safe, but we'll all survive. I'm not going to let anyone die." He wiped the tears off her face, smiling encouragingly. "It's not even the castle you're afraid of, right? It's some guy inside. He's probably not even there anymore. And even if he is, we'll be fine as long as we stay together."
Some part of him took over. He had spent so long leading others on the island that motivational speeches were on a sort of autopilot. He was really a bit scared himself of the castle looming in the distance, with the sharp peaks and gloomy skies. It didn't look like anywhere particularly fun. But they were here for a reason, right? There had to be something here that would help him save pulse.
It would make it a lot easier if he had some idea what he was looking for.

[OOC: Allow me to just wreck everything kthnxbai]
Though before they could enter, they handle to conquer the gate guardian. An entity that posed the most challenging threat possible; and only once the group has overcome their challenge would they be able to enter. Unfortunately, the group technically had JeY among their midst, so clearly the challenge was going to be exceptional for their sake. Let's just hope... JeY could come back to deal with it in time?
The shadowy figure emerged from the ground a fair distance away in front of the young couple. It looked like... JeY. It had the same clothes and hairstyle, though strange purplish pale skin and inverted eyes - the whites were now completely black but the heterochromic irises were the same. He had a wicked sneer on his face and he looked like he definitely wanted to cause trouble. However, from the weird skin tone and eyes it would be easy to determine that this was indeed a doppelganger or something of the sort - either way, it wasn't the legitimate JeY.
"Hey. How's it going." He said, sounding like JeY but with emotion and a bit of a raspy undertone. He started to take steps toward the young couple, his ridiculous smile remaining persistent. If the group were already unsettled, this sight would definitely add to that emotion as something felt entirely off. Castle Oblivion officially leeched an evil JeY from somebody's memory and he was here to keep them out.

((I AM SO SORRY. I SWORE IT WASNT MY TURN Q.Q forgive me.))
Izzy sniffed, then went ahead and kissed Michal on the lips. "Thank you." She smiled a bit shyly She stood up shakily...then had her Gunscythe out as soon as she was stansing tall. She took a deep breath. "What the hell is this?" She frowned. It didn't make sense... She stood tall though. She would conquer this part of her past. For good.

Okay, Michal was usually irritated at JeY's emotionlessness. Now he would be perfectly content if JeY never smiled again. Because evil happy JeY here was very, very creepy.
The question was, what was it? An illusion of some sort? The dark side of JeY- but then JeY wasn't even here. That made no sense. It was some sort of dark person/creature, though... and it seemed hostile, which was the most unsettling part. How much, if any, of JeY's power did it have? JeY said he had killed Xandiel, who was a keyblade master. Michal was now the proud owner of a keyblade for a grand total of a day. Sure, he might be growing fast, but master? Not by a long shot.
Izzy... well, she seemed determined, but even she didn't seem to be on JeY's level. Though it was hard to judge without seeing her battle potential firsthand. In fact, overall, getting on JeY's bad side was starting to sound like a worse and worse idea. And if this creature was just that- JeY's bad side incarnate- then fighting should be their last option.
"Alright. Just hoping to get in this castle here... Any chance you'll be so kind as to let us in?" He smiled in a friendly manner. Heck, it was worth a shot. Hopefully he wouldn't get killed while he was trying to be all diplomatic.

[OOC: Whoops, wrote this whole post a few hours ago and forgot to actually post it ^_^;]
The evil entity standing before them narrowed its eyes. Was the kid... seriously trying to ask him if he could get through? Though, something wasn't right. The monster is always entirely aware of what shape it takes, however the being that resembled its current form was missing. How was that possible that it took the form of someone not there? Maybe one of them was currently disguised and what form it took on was one of their true identities.
Time to cause some mayhem then - if one disguis-- wait. Wait wait wait. Besides its own inherit transformation power as a doppelganger, this being had no abilities to manipulate his appearance. No one there was disguised. Well what the heck!? As unsettling as it was, it hardly mattered. Inheriting the power of reading auras, it could tell that his own abilities were far superior to both of the ones in front of them. Without the experienced control of aura manipulation however, it would be completely blind to actual:JeY's aura way off into the distance.
"Umm. Actually, sure you can. I'll just have to chop you to bits first so the dogs will have an easier time eating you." the evil JeY said, its voice completely sick and twisted though completely bluffing about the dogs. It just sounded like a pretty cool line. Raising its left arm, there was a sling ring and then a large sword formed of jet-black darkness with a dark purple core. It was a shadow-copy of JeY's Zweighandler.
Bringing it forward, he stared wide-eyed at Michal. He seemed to be the most appealing target, with such a strange amalgamation of energy reading from his aura. He wouldn't be so dumb as to make the first move however, as excited as he was to fight. "Well, what are you waiting for? They're hungry." It said, implying that they should step up themselves to get slaughtered.

Izzy actually lowered her gunscythe. "Just...just wow. I may have some fantasies, but I hate vore. Just...just wow." She rubbed her eyes and picked her gunscythe up. "Michal, when did this turn into Night of the Shadow Cannabals?" She asked. "Last time I checked, this was us chasing down your past or your future or something I forgot in first my happiness at kissing you - which we have to do more of - and then my subsequent breakdown." She looked at shadow JeY. "So. What's the plan, Mike?"

"What am I waiting for? Are you thick? I have no reason to dive headfirst into a fight I'm almost certain to lose!" Michal almost laughed. And yet, at the same time, he shot a thought out to JeY, wherever the heck he was. Hey... you're trying to kill us here. Would be much appreciated if you dropped by and saved us from yourself.
Meanwhile, Michal tilted his head, cutting through the tension like few could. " You must really love your dogs... Sorry I couldn't feed them." It was hard to tell if he was being serious or laying the sarcasm on really thick. Oops, was Izzy saying something?
"Yeah, I'd have to say eating people alive isn't a fantasy of mine either... but, uh, to each their own?" Plan. What was the plan? Well, cowardly as it sounded... wait for JeY to save them. It was the safest course of action for everyone, even if not the bravest. So really, they just had to not die for a little bit. To that end, he would play one more gambit. See, there was one thing that was usually a little too awkward to attack someone in the middle of.
Michal turned to Izzy and smiled. "Here's the plan." He then took her face in his hands and kissed her on the lips, probably thoroughly confusing her AND dark JeY. It lasted a few seconds, then he pulled back and whispered, right next to her face. " Trust me."

Somewhere over the rainbow, JeY managed to receive Michal's telepathy. Luckily he had Verizon coverage, seriously that company provides good service everywhere! Unfortunately it was a message that could cause him to end his mission early for the sake of saving him from... himself? Wait what? Now JeY was definitely curious - of course JeY was beating the pulp out of Michal! He's a very underpowered character in comparison, not to mention the AI wasn't very good. Plus JeY's down-air move was stupid broken and almost unavoidable at times. Oh well, he would have to put down the controller and play some more Super KHRPF Brothers later since JeY was certain Michal didn't mean the game when he contacted him.
---
The dark version of JeY narrowed its eyes, not being too amused at the retort made by the boy. What was confusing more so was the girl's retort, as dog-eating-human surely wasn't cannibalism? Not that there were any dogs to feed and it was a really lame joke but the girl was completely off. It wouldn't stagger the entity quite yet though. no amount of zany would stagger it really, as the two kissed it only began walking forward faster. "Oh how cute, they're savoring their last moments." it said, raising its sword to cleave them both apart diagonally.
It would be rudely interrupted by a small shower of bolts of chaotic Destruction energy. The rookie doppelganger wouldn't be honed to sense incoming presences quite yet, being taken completely by surprise thus eating two of the shots in its sternum and shoulder, repelling it backwards. the rest hit the ground in the general area and caused a few eruptions of energy and small holes in the ground. The actual JeY descended a couple feet in front of Michal and Izzy, landing urgently and assuming a battle-prep stance to take on the monster, but then remained awfully surprised at what he was holding. How?
"Oh, it's you. Off getting a fix of fresh mutilation because you're too wimpy to take out the girl, eh?" The monster said. While it inherited all of JeY's powers, it knew that it couldn't use them nearly as well as JeY himself so it would be foolish to take him on directly in a fight, but rather it would be worthwhile to weaken his internal resolve first in order to make him a pushover. Luckily, JeY really had no buttons to push at this point though the beast wouldn't know that. It did however, know all of his dark secrets.
"The girl's annoying but hardly worth killing. As for you, cheap knockoff, I know that sword. How did you get your hands on Zan'Desskah?" JeY asked, sounding rather curious as opposed to his emotionless vibes he normally 'expressed' when he spoke. "...Surprised? You shouldn't be; you made this blade." the monster said, grinning intensely. "Yes, but I trapped it between dimensions before I escaped. There's no way you can retrieve it." JeY said, his confidence oozing. "How grim; you made a sword capable of harming beings on a spiritual level, only to have their departed souls damned to the inside of the blade forever?--" It seemed like the monster was going to say more though JeY curtly interrupted.
"Enough. Things were different then, clearly I'm no longer a tyrant." JeY said, holding out his hand and brandishing a Zweighandler. "I wield the Andallah'skah now. It works better for this purpose." He said, still sounding calm and collected, though he was getting irritated. Michal was hearing way more than he needed to from this monster. "That didn't stop you from killing Xandiel, you monster!" the evil one retorted. "Yes but that action alone changed things. I've left that behind." "Not your desire to kill. I can feel it..." "Shut up! You're meant for nothing more than destruction yourself, those are your own thoughts. don't confuse them with mine--" "I am your thoughts." "You are a sick and twisted version of them." "You can't deny it... You felt good after Xandiel. It felt wrong but good and you want more. It was your first since leaving. You miss it!" "You know nothing!" JeY shouted. Now the emotion was oozing; he was clearly getting angry. "Oh, is it because you can't rip apart souls anymore? Is that why the baby is crying?" "I'm glad I lost that power. I don't need it for this realm." "Don't lie to yourself. It was satisfying being able to look at a person and tear apart their very soul from the inside out with just your mind..." "Lies!" "...And watch them squirm..." "Stop before I come over there and make you!" "...their pain was fun, wasn't it?" "Stop it..." JeY said, clenching his fist and readying his sword for a charge. "Oh I struck a nerve? Come, come kill me like you know you'll enjoy doing!" "Well, you asked for it!" "Yes! Bring your worst!"
JeY then completely changed demeanor. His eyes flashed and both of his irises turned a bright pink, as opposed to the heterochromic purple and yellow. His expression completely dropped and his face became a clean slate void of any anger he was previously experiencing. Drawing back his sword, he suddenly whipped it forward sending it flying at a miraculous speed, vanishing the instant it left his hand. The doppelganger would attempt to side-step it, knowing it had JeY's essence of speed it would be easy to slide out of the way, though he found himself suddenly grappled and could've move. The purest of fear struck across the monster's face.
The monster was grappled with JeY's create energy, holding it completely still with JeY right behind him as the sword came barreling down. Just as it struck the monster straight in the chest, JeY warped away again leaving the monster to face the strike alone. It let out a loud cry of pain, stunned in pure shock of what transpired. JeY instantly reappear to its side with the another zweighandler in his hand, cleaving the monster horizontally in half. Then both swords vanished and JeY raised his arms up, summoning a dark shadowy cloud above which cast down a large bolt, wide enough to completely envelop the doppelganger. The shriek of pain was muffled by the dark veil.
Though right before the bolt rained down, JeY had jumped back and held both his arms up, generating an orb of Chaos energy that slowly began to raise in size but quickly raised in density through pure concentration. While the blast in size might not be intense, this much energy concentrated into one area would surely cause significant damage. The dark bolt eventually finished its course and the monster stood there, seeming rather defeated, though JeY wouldn't give him a single chance. The orb fired into a straight beam, this straight of Chaos energy giving off a more blinding light particle effect than usual though it widened quite a bit to once again encompass the entirety of the evil being. The ray would stay streamed continuously for about three for seconds before it diminished, and JeY simply took a more relaxed stance.
Just as the light wasn't so intense and more visibility was gained, the evil JeY would stand battered, fall over on its side, become misshapen and eventually start dissolving to nothing more than a pool of black tar that bubbled occasionally. It was definitely dead, and not going to be causing any more mischief. The tar would slowly seep into the ground and eventually dissipate from view. The glow in JeY's eyes would become diminished as well, and slowly revert back to his originally colored irises. JeY sighed in relief, finally that was over.
Well, that surely was a mess. Of course, now he had a lot of explaining to do, but maybe it would have to wait. They weren't even inside the castle yet, after all. There was no use delaying it, so JeY walked over to Michal and Izzy and crossed his arms. "Well, that was ugly. Shall we get going?" He said, trying to pass it off. Knowing Michal, they probably weren't going anywhere anytime soon as there was certainly a lot he'd have to explain now.

Izzy's cheeks went scarlet as she kissed right back. It was unforseen and completely accwpted by the half-fairy, who nodded as Michal whispered to her. "Ok." She answered softly. "I trust you." And thus, she trusted him...as JeY came out of nowhere and utterly obliterated the doppleganger. Izzy moved closer toMichal. "We're ready..." she said quietly, a bit scared from JeY's...insane attack.

Michal's eyebrows had never been higher. Half from pure 'wut'-inducing terminology (what the heck was an andallah'skah?) and half from some interesting statements. How much tragic backstory and shady character could one guy have? Yet despite all this, he couldn't think of a single question that didn't sound... well, kinda stupid. And to be honest, he had asked enough questions lately.
Instead, he just looked at JeY, glad he hadn't tried anything. Then he looked at Izzy. "Well, it didn't work EXACTLY like I hoped. But we're all alive!" And he got a free kiss that had proved completely unnecessary in its delaying value. "I guess..." He responded to JeY. "Let's just hope that whatever that was is the strongest thing we face." Right, because their luck was so great right now. Oh well, one way forward, no point going back.
Holding open a tall, spooky door, he waved a hand inside. "Ladies first."

Strange. The boy definitely seemed a bit troubled from the most recent exchange between JeY and the doppleganger guardian, though he continued on as if nothing happened. no questions, no comments, absolutely no acknowledgments. As much as JeY normally would've been relieved that there were no questions or anything to be pestered about, someone as curious and naive as Michal was bound to want to know something, and this worried the now completely stoic man. There was actually more of a problem that nothing was being discussed than if the topic were left alone entirely due to the nature of the situation.
It would have to remain that way, this was neither the time nor the place to discuss this, and JeY was certain that this topic will come up sooner or later by some other means. Probably best to let the boy wrap his mind around things and form a more intelligent discussion than merely being baffled, JeY supposed. He would let it slide and also continue as normal, not to try to scare anyone (namely Izzy). They were at the door, Michal was first and no big surprise offered for Izzy to go next. JeY was more comfortable taking up the rear, there couldn't possibly be anything that could sneak up to him and thus the group would be safer in general. JeY would remain silent as they progressed.

Izzy stepped through the door, then turned around and reached for Michal's hand. She never said anything, she barely could speak. Her best friend had died because of her and she was scared Michal would be hurt. She was trying to find her voice, but couldnt. As her hand grasped Michal's, Iszy let out a soft cry. "Stay close." She pleaded quietly to Michal. "Please." She didn't care that she was begging. She didn't care she was pretty vulnerable. But by god...she wanted to know she wouldnt lose someone else she loved.

As they entered the room, something strange happened. Izzy began glowing as Michal took her hand, and a stream of colors flowed from her. The strongest streams emanated from her mind and heart, and the colors melted into the doorway before them. Why her? Who knows. It might have been as simple as the first person to enter the room. The light quickly subsided, though, and the door was left with an emblem emblazoned on the front. It was a picture of several gummi blocks and a shadow floating around them. What this meant, Michal had no clue.
However, he did have this nagging feeling that he had forgotten something. Someone? Ugh, he couldn't remember. What a pain...
Giving Izzy's hand an extra squeeze, Michal began mulling over what the light could have meant. A shame, really- the poor girl was terrified already. She didn't need any surprises.
With a last look over his shoulder to make sure JeY was still following them, he started forward, toward the door. "Further in and farther up," he quoted.

The light was indeed an oddity but not a significant source of energy such that JeY could get a solid read, in order to determine its origins or intention. It was certainly an anomaly, strange and unexpected enough to warrant JeY to simply raise his eyebrows, but he would continue to refrain from making comments. He would only desire to speak at this point if asked a question or inquired to make a response. What had just happened... fighting that monster. That was too much for him to handle at once, especially for the others to see? They didn't need to see any of that.

((I'm assuming Gummi Blocks and shadow means World of Gummis.))
Izzy looked at the door. She had to fight her fear. She had to. But she didn't let go of Michal as she touched the door. The symbol was wrong, but...maybe... "I know where we're going..." She said softly. She walked over, dragging Michal with her (she refused to let go) and touched the door. "I saw your home...you get to see what I remember of mine." Izzy said sadly. "What I remember...I'll be lucky if even a quarter of it is still there when I return."

Was that how the castle worked? JeY had seen a sort of past, evil self from what he gathered. Izzy said he would see what she remembered of her world. Was the light memory, then? Was this whole castle based on memories?
Actually, no. Not for anyone but you. And another boy... but that was awhile ago.
Well, he had been about to ask JeY. But that made things simpler, in a way. It still begged the question of why he and this other boy were special, but odds were he 'would find out at the right time' or some other cryptic silliness like that.
"So, uh, JeY... What was your home world like?" He almost felt bad, holding hands with Izzy in the front while JeY brought up the back. Like... a really bizarre third wheel sort of thing. His hand touched the door as well, pushing it open. He had expected to see another ordinary room, perhaps with wisps of memory floating about, but... wow.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Gabriel snapped his book shut. Several floors down, the world of Izzy's memory appeared, written to life only seconds ago. Illusions and memory manipulation combined to form an incredibly realistic world, within a single floor of this castle.
It wouldn't be long until he was together with his brother again... until he had friends and a family to adventure with.
