Aiden blinked when the man on the other side responded to what Aiden had said. He had been expecting them? Well, the doctor must have been told by the other one back on Land of Dragons. That was the only explanation that Aiden could think of unless this guy had some sort of super power. What this man had said though was rather confusing. When the man claimed as long as one of the two was one of the three, Aiden looked over at Orion with obvious confusion. The opening in the door had been closed and as Aiden looked back toward the door, he almost took a step back in surprise at the sudden blast of cool air and the opening of the door.
There was a seventy year old man standing there with Hawaiian fashioned clothing. The voice did not seem to fit the man's appearance. In fact, Aiden had expected someone taller than this short, old man. He looked back at them for a moment as they looked back at him, dumbstruck. It didn't take long before he snapped them back into action. After quipping about hurrying up now, the man grabbed hold of each of them by the clothes with a surprisingly strong grip and then yanked them inside.
"Huh? H-HEY!" Aiden had barely uttered before Orion and he were pulled right into the building with the door shutting behind them. Just what they had gotten into, Aiden wasn't sure as he took a look around the area they had just been pulled into.
-------------------------------------------------------------
Damien made sure to keep the woman steady before finally releasing her. He wasn't sure who she was but she looked of military background. Her attire seemed to signify this. Either that or this woman was of some figure of authority somewhere. As he had released her, the woman seemed to have recovered from the close call with falling as she had started to apologize. She had to be somewhere in her forties or somewhere older than him.
"Uh...i-it's fine," Damien had replied. She was now thanking him for having caught her. Granted, she might've been able to catch herself without his help but Damien's reflexive action had been to catch her and right her. She was implying he give her his name. Upon reaction, Damien spoke without thinking.
"Damien Quent-er, no, Damien Stark, ma'am." He only just remembered that he no longer was a Quentin like he had believed to be but a Stark. All Damien knew of the Starks was that they had been a family assassins according to his adoptive father. Had Ivan been speaking the truth? Well, why not? The man had seemed eager to crush him with the truth so why lie anymore? That's at least what Damien had thought when Ivan revealed everything to him. He resented Ivan and would do what he had to in order to eliminate him now. Ivan was not the father that Damien had thought he had and it had been the final straw. Finding out the truth had made Damien finally realize what kind of man Ivan really was. Well, if anyone could even call Ivan a man considering that battle Orion and he had barely survived.

"Why's it s...s... so cold in here?!" Orion had to ask aloud. The room they entered was a dimly lit waiting room. There were a variety of chairs set up in a neat square along the wall. They all faced a turned off television. Attached to the waiting room was an inner office that one might typically see in a doctor's office.
This place was clearly a doctor's office. But Orion got the impression that no one had been in here for quite some time. Add to that the sound of an air condition blasting air from vents overhead gave Orion the impression that perhaps this hadn't been the smartest idea.
The old man who had let them in walked past them. "Cold?! Bah it's too warm in here! I can never get the temperature cold enough. These old bones still aren't used to the positive degrees this forsaken city has. Makes me miss home it does! Well whatcha two just standing there for?! Come on and follow me. The name's Doctor Shutter. Which one of you is the sick one?"
Orion glanced over at Aiden when he listened to the old man introduce himself as Doctor Shutter. "Not to late to run... His back is turned." Orion thought to himself. He couldn't leave Aiden though. The kid was actually doing his best to be helpful. Orion might not exactly want his help, but he'd feel bad if he just left him here with such a strange doctor. If Aiden chose to follow the old doctor, Orion would have no choice but to follow him to wherever the doctor was taking them.
--------------
Upon hearing the name of her rescuer the First Commander gave him a genuine smile. She had never heard of the Stark's before. The name was new to her. "Well thank you very much Mister Stark. My name is Fir...er' Maggie. You can just call me Maggie."
Stretching out her hand for him to shake, the First Commander decided it was better to just give her first name rather than the title and last name she was accustom to giving people. Citizens who lived in Immagrant's Town didn't look to kindly to those of higher prestige. Since she was in Immagrant's Town she figured that Damien was most likely an immigrant as well.
Of course if Damien did take her hand there was a high chance that she would spot the exposed mark on his shoulder, since that was the arm that would be stretching to shake her hand. Unless he held out his other hand or refused to shake it, the First Commander would see it.

Aiden wondered the same thing as the temperature in the room finally got to him. He had thought it had just been the temperature difference from the outside to the inside but in reality, the old man had it blasting really cold in the building throughout. Aiden didn't think it had been that hot outside. Now that he was standing still next to Orion, Aiden had to bring his arms up to hug himself to try and warm his body as his teeth chattered. Hearing Orion's question, Aiden had looked over at the old man in response as he waited for an answer. Apparently, the old man thought it was still too warm!
"B-Bud it's f-fweezing!" Aiden's voice sounded like his nose had started running in response to the cold air. The old man was quick to get to the point though. After introducing himself, the doctor asked which of them was the sick one. Aiden, not even looking at Orion, had started to follow Doctor Shutter. It was clear though that his whole body was shaking because of the cold in the air. He didn't realize Orion was too freaked out about the doctor as he wandered after the old man.
"D-Dat would b-b-be O-Orion!" Aiden had replied, doing his best to stop his teeth from chattering but it wasn't easy.
----------------------------------------------
Damien saw a genuine smile pass over the older woman's face before she had thanked him again. Her name was apparently Maggie. Like him, she seemed to have stuttered on her name as well. Not that Damien would bother her to reveal it since she hadn't bothered to ask him what his was when he had also stuttered.
"Well, nice to meet you, Maggie." Damien didn't really know what else to say except to be polite for the time being. There was no need to spark suspicion even though he had no ill intentions. After all, he still had the blasted mark on his shoulder guard. If anyone was familiar with the organization and saw it they might flip out on him without knowing the truth. It was true that he had been a commanding officer once in the organization but that was it. Ever since Ivan had revealed the truth, Damien had been crushed and given up on the organization. Only recently had he started redeeming himself and gathering others to fight against it behind the scenes. Of course, no one would know this yet since their numbers were small still and they still had yet to gain notice.
As Maggie stretched out her hand to shake his, Damien had shaken her's in response. He didn't realize the emblem on his left shoulder guard was in sight. If he did, he would have tried to use his other hand to shake her's but since he didn't know well the cat was pretty much out of the bag. Damien just might find himself running for it and portaling like crazy.

Orion had no choice now but to follow Aiden and the doctor. "Perhaps he means to freeze the poison right out of me?!" Orion thought to himself. Bringing up the rear, the doctor lead them through a doorway that led to a corridor filled with different rooms. The building really was set up as your typical doctor's office.
As they passed by a see through mirror where nurses and such had at one time worked out of, the doctor continued to speak. "Orion be the name than. Well I must say you arrived just shortly after the notice I was given. I've been sent a vial of the blood and placed it in the magnification device. I've run the blood against your typical tests, including the variety of possible poisons. Once we identify the poison, it's just a matter of finding a cure. Now I know the doctor back in the Land of Dragons wasn't able to identify the poison, but he doesn't have the complete database now does he?"
Orion attempted to follow what the doctor had to say, but he had no clue as to what a magnification device or what sort of typical test that the doctor spoke of. He was able to follow along, but not without some minor trouble. Orion didn't know what to say to the doctor's question. But it really didn't matter because Doctor Shutter didn't wait for one.
"Of course he doesn't! But hey there's only one Doctor Shutter around, and I'm him. Not everyone can be as good as I was in my prime. I'll have you know that when I was in my prime I was doing surgeries! Real surgeries! None of this cure crap. You kids have it easy today with such great healthcare. In my time there was high crime. I treated a case of frostbite everyday! Though I don't suppose you know what that is do you."
Coming to an abrupt halt before a closed iron door at the end of the hallway, the Doctor reached into his pocket and pulled out an iron key. "Well here we are. Let's check the tests."
--------------------
Maggie took Damien's hand and gave it a shake. Her eyes did fall on the emblem, but there was no spark of familiarity there. It was an odd thing that she had never seen before. It did spark her curiosity however. She had never seen such a marking before. Maggie though didn't feel that it was her right to question it. After all she didn't know a thing about Damien. Additionally there were other things that needed to be done.
"Well thanks again then. I'll be on my way now. Sorry for knocking into you." She would wait to see what Damien had to say in response before starting to make her way back towards the barracks.

Aiden didn't realize he had tossed Orion into a situation that he wasn't comfortable with as he followed Doctor Shutter further into the doctor's office. As the youth glanced around, it didn't look like anything out of the ordinary. It seemed safe. The only problem with the building that Aiden had was the blasting air conditioning system. While they walked, he half heard the doctor talking about how they hadn't taken very long to arrive. They had Damien to thank for that. If it weren't for Damien's natural portal ability they would've taken longer to get here.
"O-One of our friends w-w-was a-able to-to portal us h-here!"
The doctor didn't seem to hear him as Aiden gave a light sneeze afterward. It really was cold in here! If there were any kind of heat source at all in this building they didn't see it. Doctor Shutter went on about how he had a sample of Orion's blood and had put it to the test against one's typical tests. Aiden, too, didn't know what would be the typical tests or tests for poisons either. He had glanced over at Orion then questioningly but Orion didn't seem to know what the doctor was really talking about either since Aiden could see what looked to be a trace of confusion on his friend's face. Then, the doctor questioned them about the database. Aiden blinked over at Doctor Shutter's back. Was he looking for them to answer him? No, after a brief pause, he stated that the other doctor certainly didn't have the data for it.
According to Doctor Shutter, before he was doing this kind of thing, he had been dealing with surgeries. There was even something like the mention of frostbite. "F-Fwost b-bite?! I kn-know what dat is! I-I think I-I might get it in th-this place!" Doctor Shutter, once again, didn't seem to hear Aiden as they went. Oh well, no use. All Aiden could do was follow the doctor until they finally came to an iron door in which Doctor Shutter took out an iron key.
---------------------------------------------------------------
It had been a lucky thing for Damien that the woman hadn't recognized the emblem on his shoulder. When he had shaken her hand, he had seen Maggie's eyes flick to the emblem on his left shoulder guard. His was bigger than the usual mark the organization wore since he had been one of the higher ups just below the four heads. It was something he used to be proud of but he wasn't any longer. Not after he had discovered the truth of what he was actually doing and what he really was. Even now, Damien had yet to come to terms with what he really was. The only way he could see himself managing to get through every day was by redeeming himself. Apologizing for his actions wouldn't be enough considering the things he had done in the past.
Maggie had thanked Damien one more time before apologizing for knocking into his back. "Accidents happen. No worries..." Damien trailed off as Maggie finally turned away and started heading off. As she did, he watched her go before glancing at his shoulder guard. With a sickening lurch, he realized the emblem had been in plain sight! Hastily, Damien covered it before anyone else caught sight of it. It was a lucky thing the woman hadn't recognized the emblem just yet. If she had, he would have been in for a lot of trouble.
'I need to get this thing removed...and fast!' Damien thought to himself as he turned toward the shops, continuing his search. It would take him another ten minutes before he would finally find what he was searching for.

Orion strategically chose to speak as little as possible. That way he could focus on trying to warm his body up. It was proving harder the longer they continued to stay in this frozen place! When Aiden brought up the fact that he might get frostbite, Orion nodded along. How in the heck did the doctor work in such cold conditions?
"In we go." The doctor told them. He opened the door to reveal a laboratory within. The doctor had set up the place with a variety of tables, cabinets, and different sorts of medical equipment that Orion had never seen before. But he didn't care one bit about all the very strange looking devices. What really mattered to Orion was the fact that the temperature in this room was slightly warmer. There was still a chill in the air, but not nearly as bad as in the hallways of the place. Orion would have placed the temperature at about fifty degrees where as in the hallways it could have easily been twenty to thirty degrees. "I never do like this room. I have to keep it warmer or the blood goes bad."
"Th...th...that's all right with me." He responded. Stepping forward so that he was in line with Aiden in the middle of the room, the doctor headed over to one of the strange equipments. It was a weird looking boxed shaped device with several cords coming out of the back. They were connected to a variety of different devices. One was what Orion thought was a weird looking telescope. Orion recognized another as a printer, a device he had seen only in books during his upbringing.
It was to the printer that the doctor approached. He picked up a small pack of papers in the tray. "Let's see what we have..." Orion studied the doctor's face very carefully. His chipper attitude turned to one of seriousness. What worried Orion even more was the fact that he stopped talking. That was something that the doctor seemed to be able to do endlessly. Worried Orion looked over at Aiden.

The doctor didn't seem to hear the frostbite remark. Instead, Doctor Shutter unlocked the door and ushered them in. Following the old man's lead, Aiden was relieved for some bit of warmth. Compared to the halls they had just traversed, this room was far more pleasant. At least, Aiden was able to stop shivering after a moment to finally take a better look at his surroundings. They were in a room that looked as though all sorts of scientific machinery had been placed. Aiden had no idea what any of them were called as he looked about with curiosity. He only half heard the doctor state how he didn't like how he had to keep the room but had to in order to prevent the blood from going bad. Orion, still shivering from earlier, managed to stutter out that he was fine with that.
Aiden took his attention away from the things around the room toward the doctor whom had just approached a strange machine. It had a stack of papers that he had just taken from it and started going over. Watching the doctor go through the papers, Aiden noticed his expression change. He went from chipper to serious in an instant. Had he read something bad? Not sure what to think, Aiden felt Orion's gaze on him and slowly turned his head to peer back over at Orion questioningly. As he waited, Aiden held his fingers crossed that something good would happen and not bad.
-------------------------------------------------------------
Meanwhile, Damien had a hard time convincing an innocent man that painted on armor. After much coaxing, promising that he was genuine, Damien had finally convinced the man to remove the emblem on his shoulder. It was difficult for Damien to sit there, waiting patiently while the man would sometimes glance over at him suspiciously from time to time in the middle of his work. No doubt, he suspected Damien of doing something incognito by having the emblem removed. He couldn't blame the man for thinking that way. It didn't mean it made matters easy for Damien though. It was hard to shake the feeling of guilt even though, right now, he hadn't done anything in this world worth him feeling guilt.
While he waited, Damien did wonder how Orion and Aiden were doing. Once he was done with this whole affair, Damien planned on heading back to Doctor Shutter's place. All Damien could do right now was watch the man work on his left shoulder guard as he kept his face neutral, concealing his thoughts for the time being.

"How peculiar..." The doctor said. He held the notes closer to his face, studying what ever was written on them more intently. Orion had no clue as to what he meant by peculiar, though.
"What do the results say?" Orion asked.
Still looking at his papers, Doctor Shutter answered as he flipped through the stack of papers. "It's not what the results say that is important. I already predicted what the results would be. It's what the results don't say that is really important."
Flipping through the rest of the papers rather quickly, he returned the stack of papers to the desk and crossed his arms. "Well... There's good news and bad news. The good news is that I was right. The poison is in the system database. You've tested positive for Cruentus Venenum, a poison grown in the woods of the Enchanted Forest right on this world. The bad news is that we know next to nothing about the poison or how to cure it. I'm afraid I can't help you."
There it was... Orion's last hope was officially proven to be of no use. "I'm going to really die then." He thought to himself. The despair he felt at that moment washed over his face like a wave crashing onto the beach. Truly he had never really gotten his hopes up that high. Yet still, he felt like this just confirmed things. He really was going to die, and there wasn't a damn thing he could do about it.
"So there is no hope for me is there." Even though it was a question, Orion wasn't really asking it. He was simply making it into a statement.
"Well I don't know. The poison in your system is spreading rapidly. The blood shows what I expected, you have maybe a month left before it kills you. I don't think you'll really start feeling the strain of the poison for another week or so."
A month! Orion had been told he had six months to a year?! The surprise must have been clear on his face because the doctor was glancing at him. "There are people who might be able to help you, but in the allowed time I don't see how you could reach them in time. Still it is the only thing that I can offer you sadly. Tell me, what do you two know of the elves?"

Aiden furrowed a brow as he crossed his arms, waiting to hear what was so peculiar. The way the doctor spoke, it made Aiden uneasy. Orion had finally worked up the courage to ask the doctor what the results said. Aiden swallowed before looking back over at the doctor. If the suspension was bothering Orion, Aiden was nearly as bothered by it as he was. He couldn't help but feel antsy the whole time before the doctor finally stated that it wasn't what the results said that mattered but what the results didn't say. According to Doctor Shutter, he had already predicted what the results would be. Was that a good thing or a bad thing?
Then, the doctor went on to say that there was good news and some bad news. Aiden almost gulped hearing that. Doctor Shutter went on to say that they now knew what Orion was infected with. Apparently, he was infected with some sort of poison that Aiden couldn't pronounce right in his entire life. The way the doctor spoke though next had been quite a crushing blow. Aiden looked like a tidal wave had just crashed over them.
"C-Can't help us?!" Aiden had repeated the words, disbelievingly. That was it? No helping Orion?! Hearing Orion mention there was no hope left for him, it made Aiden's stomach lurch unpleasantly. Then, the doctor went on to mention that Orion only had one month left to live. Aiden almost bowled over at that one. He had no idea that Orion had that much time left to live. Orion won't start feeling the effects until within a week or so! Before Aiden could try and say there had to be something they could do, Doctor Shutter mentioned the elves.
"So you're saying a bunch of pointy eared people are all that Orion has left to ask for help? Psh! Damien can portal us around, Orion wouldn't have too much trouble where getting to places is involved. I mean, elves are known for their magic, yeah but I bet Damien could portal us right to the forested area they're in. It would probably take us time trying to find the place once we're there but it shouldn't take us more than a day to portal to the right place...I think..." Aiden had a habit of speaking confidently without knowing the truth. Damien could portal them to and from but his portal abilities would not get them through the barrier Lara, Rekka and Bartimaeus had tried to travel through some time ago here in this very world.
Aiden turned to Orion then. He must have felt terrible. Aiden could understand why having such a bombshell dropped on his shoulders but Aiden refused to simply give up. It was definitely a shocker, the news but Aiden was a Wilder. He didn't give up. Would Orion want to try it though? They'd have to rely once again on Damien's portal abilities but Aiden was confident that he could nag Damien into doing it. Aiden was a persistent kid, annoyingly persistent. The issue though was when Damien would arrive.
----------------------------------------------------
Damien had finally gotten the shoulder guard's emblem removed. It felt strange taking back the shoulder guard now that the emblem was gone. It felt like a large part of him had just been removed. He still had his shoulder guard but this was different without the emblem, it felt almost...alien, naked. When the man had asked him if this was what he had wanted, Damien nodded his head.
Pulling out the munny, Damien paid the man for his efforts plus tip before heading out. The man took it but looked none too pleased about it anyway. Damien suspected the man thought he had just helped the enemy. Well, Damien had once been the enemy but he was no more. He could now walk amongst people without having to worry about the emblem getting discovered. Already, he was beginning the trek back to the doctor's office.

What did Orion know about elves?... I know that everywhere we go we keep running into them! At least that was what Orion had experienced since the very beginning. First there were the two elves appearing in Twilight Town. Then they ended up running into them during an attack against Damien's foster father.
"I've been running into the same two elves for a while now." Orion added, after Aiden informed the doctor about Damien's abilities. Orion didn't know how Damien would have reacted to Aiden spilling his personal information to the doctor. But if it was Orion, he wouldn't have been so comfortable with Aiden's reveal.
Doctor Shutter listened to what both of them had to say before he replied. "How abnormal. Then again I know next to nothing about the elfs or there culture. But there are very few of them outside the worlds. I've lived in many of places kids, and I've never once in my life time run into an actual elf. And there in lies your problem. Even if you do have some sort of ability to get you there I'm not to sure you'd be able to actually find the elves nor get one to help you."
"But they would have the knowledge of curing the poison?" Orion asked for clarification. He wasn't set just yet on going to these lands of the elves. If things were as gloomy as the doctor made it out to be, perhaps it was better to just live what time he had left some place else. There wouldn't be too many people missing him anyway. "Maybe I can use what time I have left to fix things with father." Though his father might not even see him after everything that had happened.
Doctor Shutter nodded in response to Orion. "There the oldest beings alive in the universe. The poison grows in their damn forest! So I assume they'd have the knowledge."
That wasn't a definite answer... In Orion's opinion it sounded like the doctor really didn't know. "He's just very good at saying a lot about nothing." Orion thought.
"What do you think we should do Aiden?" Maybe it was better to trust another person's judgement beyond Orion's own.

Aiden blinked as he turned to peer over at Orion questioningly. Orion had met elves before? Wait, there was that elf that had interfered in that fight. Aiden had been present when Damien and Orion had fought Ivan, Orion eventually almost killing Ivan. Aiden then turned to look over at Doctor Shutter after Orion had said that. If Orion thought Damien would mind the reveal of his portal abilities, he was probably right.
Doctor Shutter mentioned how abnormal it was for elves to be even outside their realm. According to the doctor, there were very few of them that were seen outside the worlds. They were apparently so rare that not even Doctor Shutter had seen one. The young Wilder though didn't let the doctor's words shoot his hopes down though. There was still a small chance that Orion could get help! Aiden would do anything.
As he stood there, Aiden heard Orion question the doctor about the elves probably having knowledge about the poison and a cure for it. Aiden thought if they lived there that they would or at least should considering any of them living in that area could end up poisoned. "Well, they should if it does! I mean, they'd be pretty screwed if they didn't, right? I mean, what if their young got poisoned on accident or something? Pshaw! Would be very dumb for them not to!" Aiden, ever the vocal one.
The young Wilder though was surprised when Orion had suddenly turned his attention onto him, asking him what he thought that they should do. Aiden looked back at Orion, surprised that an adult would actually want to hear his opinion on the matter. "Well, who would want to die?! I mean, if there's a small chance, even the littlest, you'd still want to try, wouldn't you? I'd say I'd try it even if it proves hopeless. At least by then, I could come to terms knowing I had at least tried and not given up. After all, before my brother turned his back on me, he always told me to never give up."
Damien, by the time the others would decide on what they were going to do, would probably either be just exiting the building or on their way by the time Damien had reached the building. Already, he had walked up to the doorstep, pondering on whether or not to ring the doorbell or knock or simply step inside.

"Every voice that has a mouth to speak deserves to be heard. When you become king you must listen to the people. A good king listens to all his subjects. From the oldest of the old to the youngest of the young. You can learn as much about life from the words and actions of a wise man as you can from a young child. They are just presented differently." Orion reminisced the word's of his tutor. He had not been reminded of the words until after Aiden had voiced his opinion.
The kid had a very good point. It increased Orion's respect for the teen. "Never give up... Seems that's what I've been doing a lot of lately." Such a thought troubled Orion. Never before had he been a quitter. Yet over the last few days that's all that Orion had been thinking about. Quit this... Give up on that... "Alright kid. I'll try."
Orion could feel his spirits refilling with a new sense of purpose. He would give it another shot. Orion did not have much hope in the plan, but he would try nonetheless.
Doctor Shutter, who had been patiently silent, cleared his throat. "Alright then. Let's get out of this hot room! I feel if I wait here much longer I'll start to melt like a snowman."
Having no clue as to what a 'snowman' was, Orion followed the doctor out of the laboratory room. The uncomfortable cold that the old man longed for had the opposite effect on Orion. It set his teeth to chattering once more. "L-l-l-lets g-g-g-et g-g-g-going." He told Aiden. The quicker they got out of this frozen place the better they would be.

Aiden felt relieved that Orion wanted to try. He was hoping that Orion wouldn't just give up. Aiden wasn't sure what he would do if Orion had given up and forebade them from helping him. It would be very sad if he had. Even if the odds were against them, Aiden was determined to try. He didn't want for Orion to die. After all, he had become attached to Damien and Orion even if the two didn't get along. Aiden viewed them as his friends and he didn't have many of those. Until they knew for certain, Aiden was going to remain optimistic for Orion. A bright smile appeared then on Aiden's face in response to Orion's words.
"Alright! Ready when you are."
It wasn't long before Doctor Shutter cleared his throat and suggested they leave this hot room. Aiden couldn't understand how this old man though this room was hot. He gave a chuckle when Doctor Shutter mentioned he could melt like a snowman. The youth had forgotten about the colder halls and when they had followed him out, Aiden was hugging himself again as his teeth chattered. It was so cold, Aiden almost huddled with the nearest person but refrained. Next to him, he had heard Orion stutter out that they should get going.
"O-Okay, O-Orion!"
At around the same time, Damien had finally pushed the button for the doorbell to ring on the doorstep of the doctor's office. He looked puzzled when he heard no bell ring in response though. "...The hell?" Damien muttered to himself as he waited to see if maybe someone would have been alerted to the button being pushed by some other means. Honestly, he was really puzzled. Maybe he should knock instead?

As they made their way towards the entrance, Orion was flustered when all the lights around them blinked on and off. "Ah! That would be the doorbell. I don't like to be disrupted when I work, so I set up all the lights to turn on and off every time someone presses the doorbell." Moving to get out of his way, the old man rushed past Orion and rather swiftly approached the door by the entrance,
Following him, Orion watched him pull back a section of the door as he had before when they were on the other side of it. "Ah ha! I bet your the third!" He told the stranger on the other side of the door.
Orion glanced down at Aiden, his eyebrow lifting. Was he talking about Damien? If so that would be very convenient of the man to show up again. Orion didn't exactly like Damien per say, nor did he trust him one hundred percent. The fact was that he needed him to get around though. If they were to go to this Enchanting Forest, or whatever, they were going to need Damien's portal abilities to do it.
The old man closed the small little door within the door, and turned to Orion and Aiden as his hand reached down to the door knob. "I believe your friend is here." Pulling the door open revealed Damien standing in the doorway. However Orion's eyes did not rest on Damien. Instead they traveled past Damien and over to a woman who was standing about fifteen feet behind him with what looked to be about fifteen men and women dressed in full clad iron armor. Orion recognized the flying hawk's crest on all of their breast plates.
Just who had Damien brought with him?! Orion easily figured the men and women in armor had to be guards of some sort. But who was the woman in front of them. She had short cut brown hair and was dressed in brown boots, black pants, a navy green long sleeved shirt, and over it a sleeveless coat with the design of a black and gold dragon on it. A white sash hugged the coat to her waist while holding the scabbard for a sabre sword with a round guard.
The men and women in armor all wore a variety of different weapons. Orion spotted four bowman, six swordsman, two axeman, two polemen, and a man with no weapon. "Damien.... Who are they?"

Aiden's eyebrows rose, his chattering calming down a little bit as he glanced around with the lights turning off and on. Were they under attack? Maybe this building was losing power? If so, did that mean they would be warmer for it? Before Aiden's hopes could escalate, Doctor Shutter stated that it was someone at the door. He had set the lights up instead to alert him to the arrival of someone else so he wouldn't get disturbed when he was working by a bell clanging. As the doctor bustled over to the door, he watched as the old man opened the slot like he had when they had first arrived here. Judging by what the elder man had said, it sounded like maybe Damien had arrived.
Eyebrows raising more, Aiden looked over at Orion with a puzzled expression upon his face. Could it be possible that Damien arrived at this time? Before Aiden or Orion could say or do anything, the old man announced that he had believed that their friend had arrived and opened the door. A big smile appeared on Aiden's face seeing the other older male, Damien.
"Damien!" Aiden called out in his excitement. Damien had a look of confusion written all over his face. Doctor Shutter had seemed to realize who he was without Damien having to say a word about it before opening the door. How could someone be so trusting of their first assumption? Damien looked at the other two, still blinking in his confusion. When Orion's gaze had seemed to turn to someone else, Damien rose a brow. He had this feeling as if others were behind him. Furrowing his brows, puzzled, Damien turned as Orion asked him who "they" were.
Aiden had wandere over to Damien, whom had held a hand back to keep the teenager inside the building as he soon rested his eyes on obviously armed forces that had crept up on him from behind. "Huh? Hey!" Aiden exclaimed when he had been pushed inside by one hand. He had wanted to see what Orion was talking about but Damien wouldn't let him see. Judging by the emblems these were the king's people. Damien had met the one standing in front of them all. Damien knew better than to take out a weapon at this point. Instead, he carefully looked amongst their number. It had been smart of him not to considering there were those with bows even. He would have been shot at if he had. Eyes settling on the woman before the armed forces, Damien looked calmly back at her.
"Hello again. Is there something the matter, Maggie?" Damien questioned her evenly. Right now, he was between Orion, Aiden and the forces outside. He wasn't about to move to risk them getting involved. No doubt, the woman had discovered what the emeblem had meant but he no longer had the mark on his shoulder guard. No doubt, he'd look suspicious with it off anyway. How was he going to explain himself? Damien didn't want to fight them. In fact, he didn't have anything to do with them, really but there was no denying the fact his past had crept up on him here and now they were all in a tight spot. He didn't want for Aiden and Orion to get caught up in it all. Orion would probably think Damien turned on them already when in reality, he had no intention of doing so. Damien liked Aiden too much to want to cause him harm even if the kid drove him nuts.
Damien would need to portal them out of here and quick! Already, Damien, when he had pushed Aiden back, he had tore open a portal at the same time. He said nothing but the doctor and Orion would be able to see it. Damien kept his gaze fixed on Maggie and her forces. He wasn't about to draw a blade against any of them unless he had to. Even now, if Maggie looked at him, she would see the lack of emblem on his left shoulder guard since it was the shoulder facing them. It could only lead to suspicion as well as possible confusion.

Orion couldn't see much of what was going on outside because Damien had turned. His figure took up the majority of the view! "Just what trouble are we in this time?" Orion asked himself. Damien had gotten rid of his shoulder guard, but Orion couldn't see that from this viewpoint. He had to raise on his tip toes just to see partially.
On the outside Maggie stepped forward. Her eyes had locked on Damien's shoulder guard. "I was wondering if you and your friends could accompany us. I have some questions about what had been on your shoulder guard not too long ago."
Orion didn't like the sound of that. He racked his brain for any information about the guards and laws of Cornelia. Orion recalled that since the flood of immigrants into the world laws against them had greatly increased. There wasn't much trouble for those who were naturally born on the world. Sadly they would fall into the first category instead of the second.
Doctor Shutter, with his old, thin, short body, actually managed to slip right between Damien and the door to get in front of Damien. "Now look here missie! I don't know what you think these boys have done, but they don't have time to dilly dally. I'm a doctor and it is my prognosis that they need to get to where they need to get to."
If Maggie was effected by the doctor's words, it didn't show on her face. She kept a straight complexion. "Be that as it may doctor, there are some questions I would like to ask all of you, including yourself doctor."
That seemed to take the doctor by surprise for he took a step back. "You want to question me out there?! In the scorching heat!"
Orion thought that the heat was the least of their problems if this woman suspected that they were a part of the Order of the Destroyer. "Is there anything I can do?" Orion knew there was... He didn't want to have to do it. But if Damien or no one else had anything to say, he'd step forward.

Damien made sure to keep himself in the center since he was the one they were surely after. Why get the other two involved anyway? As Maggie stepped forward to speak, Damien remained where he was as he listened to what she was saying. There was no denying it now, Maggie had seen the emblem and his explanation would not be satisfactory enough. Considering most had no idea where the organization liked to hide in each world, they would surely try to torture it out of him and then potentially execute him. At least, that was what he suspected. Not that Damien wouldn't give away the secrets after he had left the organization but there was a chance things were changed since he left. After all, he knew a lot and didn't know a lot so the hideouts he knew were likely changed.
"That old thing? It's nothing anymore. I've had it removed." Before Damien could say anything more, Doctor Shutter had slipped out from behind him. Damien's eyes widened a bit as the elderly man spoke his two cents. It was a lucky thing Maggie didn't seem intent on shooting them on the spot or that old man could have just been killed for interfering. He wouldn't let Aiden or Orion out though. Damien didn't want any of them to get stuck in the middle. Damien was surprised though by what the doctor had to say. It sounded like the doctor couldn't cure what Orion had. As Doctor Shutter had said that, Damien had glanced over at Orion and Aiden with a questioning look.
As Maggie spoke to the doctor, Damien brought his gaze back over to them. "...Scorching heat?!" Damien repeated in disbelief. It wasn't even hot out! Dismissing how puzzled he was for the time being, Damien looked back at Maggie and her forces.
"Look, I understand you'd want to take me in for questioning. I would too. However, I cannot just let you. I've no ill intention towards anyone here and I only came to-" Before Damien could say anymore, Aiden managed to squeeze through as well. He looked at the armed forces that met his eyes and the woman named Maggie. Damien tried to grab him but the kid had stepped up next to Doctor Shutter before Damien could snatch him in time.
"We're sorry ma'am but we really need to get going! If we don't, my friend's going to die. We just want to leave and we don't mean any harm."
"Aiden!" Damien growled at him. Still, he couldn't help but wonder about that. So, Orion couldn't be saved despite them coming all the way here? What did that mean? It sounded though like Aiden and Orion needed to go somewhere else. Damien passed a quick glance of confusion in Orion's direction before looking back over at Maggie.
"I can come back at another time but time is very trying. If my...friend weren't ill, I would have permitted you to take me in for questioning and satisfy any questions that you had. They have nothing to do with it, if that worries you, Maggie." Even when he tried talking, Damien knew this wouldn't be doing them any good. Grabbing Aiden and the doctor by their shirt collars, Damien backed swiftly into the doctor's office but regretted it. It was so damn cold! Still, he didn't bother hesitating as he gestured for Orion to leap into the portal before throwing Aiden in and then the doctor before stepping in. It would be up to Orion to have done so before or after. He wasn't portalling them off the world but at another spot of the world which would be outside the city here. As for the shoulder guard, if Orion saw it, he would notice the emblem that had once been on it was gone.

Orion had been prepared to act. He was going to announce that he was the Prince of the Enchanted Domain. As a foreign monarch they would have been much more hesitant to openly arrest them. Of course Orion would have been relying on simple hope that word of his exile hadn’t reached this world. In the end there was no need for it. Damien responded and quickly rushed them back into the cold.
If there was one thing that Orion was beginning to trust Damien on it was his ability to get them out of tricky situations like this one. The young man quickly opened a portal. Before Doctor Shutter or even Aiden could let out a peep, Damien had thrust them into it. That just left Orion to bring up the rear.
He could hear the sounds of the woman Damien had called Maggie shouting brisk orders outside. They would be busting through in any moment! Orion felt the rush of the situation! He was thrilled by the sudden feeling of pumping adrenaline. As he understood it he had two choices: rush quickly through the portal, or stay, fight, and let out some of the rage that he didn’t even know he had till this very moment.
Orion was angry at everything. He was infuriated at the situation he was in. He was dying and there wasn’t a damn thing he could do about it! The poisonous black blood in his veins added to his anger, burning his rage up to a boil. Damn running away! He was tired of it! Orion wanted to fight!
Unbeknownst to Orion, a black kanji letter had begun to shine on his forehead. If Damien was looking at Orion through the other side of the portal, he would be able to see it since Orion’s body was turned now towards the door instead of the portal. A loud pounding sound shook the door, announcing that someone had most likely tried to kick it in.
The kanji letter began to grow darker as darkness started to seep through it. The darkness flowed down Orion’s body like a steady stream rolling down the river. As it passed it left other kanji letters to appear on Orion’s visible skin. He could feel rage and strength pumping into him. It was a feeling as sweet as honey. Another pound and the door to the house busted open, revealing Maggie on the other side. So long as no one, such as Damien, pulled him from the other side into the portal, Orion was going to attack.

(OOC: Not sure what you wanted me to do here. lol. I guess it doesn't matter or it does, idk. If it does, just let me know and I can fix this xD)
Damien didn't hesitate to shut the door behind him by slamming it shut with his booted foot. Ignoring the looks on Aiden's and Doctor Shutter's faces, before either could even let out a peep, Damien had tossed them both into the portal. The sooner they all got there the better. He would have waited for Orion to appear on the other side but as he turned to look for him, he noticed Orion hadn't stepped into the portal. From what he could see on his end, Orion was fixed on the door with his back turned to the portal.
"What the hell are you doing?!"
Orion didn't seem to hear him. Instead, his back remained turned and it looked like Orion was becoming covered in kanji letters again. Recognizing the kanji letters from before, Damien stepped through the portal again leaving a bewildered Aiden and Doctor Shutter on the other side looking back through at him as he went. By this time, the door was being busted down. In a few seconds, Orion would be armed and would probably be in his berserk state of mind. A dangerous feat for Damien knowing this fact but he had to get a hold of Orion before he went and got himself killed. Not only that but Maggie and her forces were doing their jobs. Damien couldn't just let Orion slaughter them.
"ORION!" Damien shouted his name, attempting to grab around Orion's waist at that moment. He was attempting to grab him from behind around the middle, arms included so that Damien would not risk being stabbed or having his head cleaved off in the attempt to nab the prince whom was about to go berserk. In his mind, Damien was using quite a display of colorful curse words toward his predicament as he did his best to latch onto Orion tightly and try to back up into the portal he had made as soon as possible.
If Damien was successful, they would be on the other side of the portal with Aiden and Doctor Shutter. If that happened, Damien would probably still hand onto Orion until the other calmed or once he got a hand free to rip open another portal and let Orion loose in a space until he calmed down enough to let him back out of it. If neither of those happened, well, Maggie and her forces may just end up slaughtered and Damien probably along with them in the attempt.

((OOC: I left it open so that you could decide what Damien would do. No worries.))
Damien was right in thinking that he should do something to get Orion out of there. With darkness beginning to cloud and darken his vision, his rage and anger continued to escalate. Damien’s sudden grab around Orion’s waist surprised the fury possessed teen. In his short lived surprise he was unable to break free. As a result Orion was pulled into the portal by Damien just as bowman entered the doorway.
For Orion, it was like being offered your favorite meal and then having it taken away just as you lift your fork to take a bite. At that point Orion had wanted to rip the soldiers to shreds. But with the forced retreat, Orion’s anger turned on the cause of that retreat: Damien. Falling back, Orion’s feet were swept out from underneath him from the blindside that was Damien when he forcibly pulled onto him.
Being a generally tall and muscular person to begin with, Orion wasn’t harmed by the fall. He picked himself right back up. By this time the glow of the black kanji letters had intensified. Orion’s eyes had glazed over. Ignoring Aiden and Doctor Shutter, since they didn’t exist to him at the moment, Orion began to approach Damien.
Getting within arm reach distance, Orion didn’t think twice. He aimed a hard right hook at Damien’s face. In his current state Orion could not tell friend from foe. It didn’t matter to Orion that Damien had done the right thing by grabbing onto him. Currently he didn’t even see it as a matter of right and wrong. All he saw was another person to vent his anger on. If Aiden or Doctor Shutter got in the way, they would find Orion’s attention turning on him.
Orion hadn’t summoned his armor or his weapon. If they did appear, then there would be no stopping him from going into a full rampage. As he was now though there was still a chance that someone could get through to him.
