About the Character
Character Personality: Jesse is your everyday rebellious teenager. Okay, it's not every day you meet one as strong as he is, or one with such a blatant disregard for 'mortal' life. But besides that, he's moody, full of himself, selfish, entitled- basically a snobby rich kid with absurd amounts of power on his hands from the godly side of his family. Currently, he's on a temper tantrum after being thrown out of Olympus. That makes him a bad person to be around.
Character Appearance:Jesse is actually really handsome. Tall and muscular, with blonde hair and steel grey eyes, he wears modern clothing. Usually a leather jacket and black pants, with a red shirt on under the jacket. He also wears a pair of fingerless gloves, which turn into his weapons in combat. There's an aura about him that makes him stand out- though not exactly a glow or anything so blatant as that, it seems to be instinctual for most to know he's not fully human.

Wrath: Jesse shoots a single, fiery bolt into the sky, where it explodes and rains down intensely hot fireballs. Several dozen of these fall at most, and the radius can be tightened to within fifty feet, or extended to an entire city. The fireballs can be blocked or dodged, and instantly light most things on fire upon contact. Once per thread.
Fire breath: Jesse can shoot streams of flame from his mouth. They expand to about a foot in diameter after leaving his mouth, and travel in a straight line, dealing medium damage and causing burns on contact. After three blasts, there's a two post recharge period.
Burning strikes: Passive. Every strike Jesse makes burns intensely on contact. Furthermore, if the strike was made with a metal object, molten metal is left behind where he hit. Burns remain on the skin long after the strike hits.
Fire immunity: Fire attacks will double the power of Jesse's next fire attack. This does not stack, so there's no benefit if he's hit by multiple fire attacks unless he attacks between them. Still, just don't hit him with fire.
Godly form: Blazing with fire and rage, Jesse's fire attacks now deal 1.5x damage. His whole body is on fire and glowing white hot. Ice and water attacks melt and evaporate before even reaching him at this point. Lasts until end of battle, once per thread. Must have been in battle for at least 3 posts and be hit at least once before triggering.
Demigod powers:
Strength: Physical strength is slightly above peak human strength.
Speed: Both mental and physical. Jesse can react to attacks that would be far too fast for the human mind to process. He can then dodge at a similarly high speed. This doesn't mean he'll dodge every attack, just that he's harder to hit than your average mortal.
Combat trained: Jesse knows how to fight, and fight well. He's agile and can use both sword and gloves well.
Darkness powers:
Dark corridors: Still a thing. Nearly instantaneous teleportation from point A to point b. Cooldown proportional to distance transported. One post for distances less than ten feet, two posts for distances between ten feet and within the general area of combat, three posts between that and within sight range, and five for anything else. Can enter or leave a world via this method once each without cooldown.
Dark shield: A black orb of nearly invincible energy that surrounds Jesse for a post (or less) and has a three post cooldown.
Bad Omen: When angered, clouds begin to fill the sky above Jesse for miles around. These clouds before so thick they black out the sun and give the illusion of night time. They also add a dark attribute to any magical attack (like fire) and double the power of attacks that were already darkness-based. Lasts until Jesse calms down, or until dispelled, whether by a wind spell, explosion, or other burst of energy in their midst. Once per thread.
Dark blast: This is simply a blast of pure dark energy that deals medium damage to and sends flying anyone in Jesse's immediate vicinity as he explodes with power. It's strong enough to push back even someone who was charging him at high speed before. Once per battle.
Dark bolt: A small bolt of dark power that deals medium damage. Jesse can fire off twenty of these before a five post cooldown.
Darkness immunity: While angered, darkness attacks only restore his health the same amount that he would have been damaged. Again, don't. Passive, involuntary toggle.
God of darkness: While within his true form, Jesse can go even further in power, engulfing his body in black flames and giving him a demonic appearance. His dark bolts can be fired off endlessly now, and gain a fire attribute, becoming flaming bolts that deal both fire and dark damage. This form lasts a maximum of five posts before he drops out of his true form entirely. Once per thread.
Character Weapons: A pair of black iron gauntlets that extend from Jesse's fingerless gloves. These gauntlets can grow sharpened fingertips or pointed knuckles, and are Jesse's primary weapon.
A black iron sword, of medium length and curved. The tip has a hook that angles back toward the handle, which can be used to catch and move an opponent's weapon, or to tear away at flesh.
Both weapons are made of stygian iron, which is very difficult to break, very sharp, and has the strange property of absorbing the remnants of anything it kills, leaving no body or skeleton or even a heart behind. All of these things are trapped within the weapon. Jesse's gauntlets also absorb things killed with his magic in a similar manner, draining body and soul into their plates with some special effects.
Character Racial Ability:
Son of a minor fire God: Jesse can create fire in any manner, as long as it's not in a direct combat scenario. This amounts to effect and utility- whether for intimidation by showing off his flames, or to melt an obstacle in his way. These flames cannot be used to attack unless there is permission to use his full powers, perhaps for a plot reason. Other abilities must be used otherwise.
Character Strengths (1 required): Absurd magical and physical strength inherited from his godly parentage.
Character Weaknesses (1 required): Overconfidence, sadism, inexperience in real combat or life.
Character History: Born from a fire god so minor that he was never included canonically in the movie or animated series, and a mortal woman similarly unimportant, Jesse was never really an important person. His mom raised him, but he quickly grew angry that his dad was never there. He began using his powers late at night for darker purposes. Somehow, lighting campfires and cooking food didn't cut it. He needed a bit of release, and terrorizing mortals was immensely satisfying. As he grew further separated from the mortals, darkness grew within him. The new power it brought only served to make him feel like a god himself. He climbed mount Olympus and tried to take over, but his own father stopped him. He was thrown out of the world entirely, hurtling across space to... Well, may the gods hero whoever he ends up next to.
