Yeah, it was pretty true that it was nice that they weren't being attacked, so the girl would give him that. "Fair enough. I'll still be on my toes." She didn't think much of it, in terms of whether or not they would get attacked or stumble upon an encounter or whatever. It was always better, especially in their current situation, that enemies weren't out and about and awaiting them at every corner. That still didn't keep this girl from being the definition of primed and ready. Oh well.
"Nothing against you sweetie, I'm pretty much a full time bitch. It's cool that you asked though, everyone always just assumes I hate them or something." She spoke matter-of-factly, not putting too much into it so that the boy wouldn't be provoked or over analyze or interpret any unnecessary assumptions that were not going to be true. How the girl operated is she simply told it how it was: she was always direct and brutally honest about everything, expressing anything on her mind without second thought. It made interacting with her really easily; if she said 'yes I like that' she meant it and there was no reading between the lines. On the flip side, she was just as open about negatives as well, which is what most people don't really like. Oh well, it never bothered her!

Prythian just pressed his lips together. Not that the back-and-forth between the two wasn't interesting, but... at least one person in the group was, quite literally, falling apart. Oh, well, this wasn't his floor, so he'd grin and bear it for now, just wait until the next time he was in one of his own memories. After all... it was entirely possible that these memories were just as important for Arin as what he was looking for would be for him, only in a different manner.
((For now, just skip my posts until we reach the next floor. Prythian really has nothing to add here unless he's addressed specifically.))

Arin listened to the girl basically admitting to being a full time bitch, and that her attitude wasn't personal towards him. Shrugging, he started walking towards the cave exit "Whatever you say. Let's get moving, hopefully we can get out of here without fighting that creature."
Sadly, as soon as they exited the cave, Arin was clutching his chest, groaning as a wisp of dark aura surrounded his body for the briefest moment, before dissipating. He looked around, trying to spot what was coming, but nothing was in sight. Reaching down to his belt, he drew both of his sword handles and summoned forth his sword blades, looking for his oncoming assailant
"…I hope you're still on your toes lady, cuz they're coming."
The area around their group suddenly began to darken, to the point that visibility was very low, and everyone could barely see a few yards in front of one another. The one thing that got Arin's attention was a large pair of glowing, red eyes that were in the far edges of the dark prison that confined them.
"Of all the people that could have brought me back to life…it had to be a worthless child like you."
The voice was coming from the large red eyes, Arin immediately recognizing that voice and wishing he hadn't "…Oh…Shit!" The red eyes began to circle around the outside of the dark prison, circling them like an carnivorous animal.
"Looks like you get your wish, lady…They're both here…" The Dark Hunter started rushing at them, using its size to try and break apart their tightly fit group. A pair of keyblades, or rather, two halves of the keyblade back in the cave also came flying at them, separating their group into JesseY and Prythian, and Arin standing out on his own.
Arin started channeling his auras, trying to draw out his chaos form as quickly as possible. But each time he was close enough to activate it, the Dark Hunter came barreling at him again, forcing him to dodge the large black mass and the two keys that flew at him like whips. Having to constantly dodge, kept him from unleashing his power, and losing all the stored power he had accumulated in the process.
*Dammit! With both of them working together, I can't activate my drive form. I have to find a way to charge up or it's all over!*

Well, no particularly interesting reaction to her bold statement before. That was always a good sign though; no news is good news. They managed to get all the way back out too before the next big event, poor Arin struggling to keep his composure. Apparently that was a sign that evil was afoot. JessY was prepared, though starting to feel a little nervous on the inside. What was so bad that caused him pain but not anyone else? How weird. Maybe it had to do with the fact that it was currently his memory. She would look the same on the outside however, slight nerves or confusion besides.
However, leaving the cave exit wouldn't be so forgiving. Already the area blackened and the the back of her neck tingled with suspense. Well, this was it, for real this time. Hopefully after talking all of that smack she would be able to live up to the punch of these exhilarating enemies. It didn't take long at all for there to be red eyes, an intimidating voice and Arin getting a little upset. But, hold on a second. "Wait, both? There's only--" she wouldn't even get to really ask her question as a giant monster rushed at them and a pair of weapons flew out from the shadows. Well, in order to dodge, she would have to abandon the rest of the group unfortunately.
JessY managed to tumble out of the way while also laying Prythian gently down from his brace, hoping he would be able to hang on or crawl to the side or something. It seemed like he wouldn't be directly in harms way until there was a massive area-of-effect attack or something, but it seemed like just basic strides for now. And quite frankly, that dual-strike nonsense was really getting on her nerves after the second or third time. "HeeeyYAH!" Right on target, JessY would turn the tides for a second.
With a line of energy that suddenly expanded into cuffs, JessY caught the keyblades mid-air and slammed them straight to the ground. She knew how those weapons worked however, but it would still give the group a moment longer than what they were getting before to initiate a counter attack. With the next rush, JessY vaulted herself into the air with a pillar of ability energy and spawned both of her odachi blades, plummeting into the beasts back to anchor herself. The goal was the remove one blade and hang onto the other and consistently slash until she was shaken off somehow. "How's this yah cocksucker!" Of course, only the classiest battle cries were in the girl's repertoire.

JesseY was doing a good job of hitting the large black mass of a Heartless, but it was only for a moment, when something else heard her ridiculous battle cry and rushed back with his larger keyblade in hand, looking like the two halves fused into one large blade. He swung hard and aimed at JesseY's midsection while she was focused on the large Heartless.
"Get off, woman. Your presence irritates me."
The voice sounded much like Arin's, but it was monotone, and hollow, as if his words were void of any emotion at all. If JesseY looked up quick enough, she would notice someone who looked almost identical to Arin standing on the beast, save for his different choice of clothes, and was swinging his keyblade to slice her in half right at the gut.
Meanwhile, Arin had been evading the Heartless' charges, trying to attack whenever he could. But given his current arsenal, he couldn't do much, except for the occasional fire attack at it, which it merely ran right through and received minimal burn damage over a not too long length of time
*Dammit! We don't have time for this! Prythian's dying, and we have to reach the next floor as soon as possible. That's the only way he can fix his soul and become stable again!*

With barely any time at all to have fun going nuts onto the back of this giant Heartless, a mysterious cloaked figure decided to appear from the shadows and knock her off with a guttural blow. Simple enough. Unfortunately, the girl didn't have enough stability to block it, so she would be forced to throw herself backwards while dropping her swords and having them dissipate, plant her hands on a sudden mid-air shelf of her Ability Energy, completing a back handspring until she was upright, but morphed the shelf into an incline and slid to the ground without doing more than bend her knees.
The monotone would've been chilling if she wasn't so experienced in hearing it so often already, but she swore she recognized it from somewhere. It wasn't her alternate self's, that's for sure, but it sounded familiar. Looking over at Arin, JessY realized she was really dumb in that it actually the tone was similar to him albeit drained of any expression at all. Even the hotheadedness. She didn't get a glimpse of the figure at all, but from all the other context, it wasn't hard to figure out that they were being attacked by a dark version of himself. It controlled a monstrous beast too, no less. Perfect. Well, that wouldn't discourage her in of itself.
"Round two; what the hell yah go'n' do?" She was murmuring to herself, but in an almost lyrical fashion, like there was a bit of rhythm behind her voice. If the beast came charging again, JessY would project a line into the air and form a massive hammer-head shape and attempt to send it barreling down on the monster's face, while using that momentum to flip her back into the air and land on the beast once again and try the same plan, but only be weary of the cloaked figure again. "When we take the enemy and kick his ass to the moon!" She would blurt this one out a little longer, but still in a lyrical fashion.
If there was too long of a time before the beast showed itself again, she would still continue to sing, albeit quietly, but simply stand and be prepared for the next attack, intending to do a lot of damage in a short amount of time. She stood toward the middle of the vortex as to be ready for anything that may show itself again, have the optimal time to react.

Arin was watching the large Heartless as it charged in and out of the center of the dark prison, focusing frequently on himself, just like the last time he had encountered it on the keyblade graveyard. The hard part this time, he didn't have as many people helping him out, and now his evil double was riding atop it like it was his own personal steed, and was hurling his keys at Arin whenever he had the chance. But he noticed something about some of the passes after JesseY had been thrown off of the dark hunter, Nirax wasn't throwing his keyblade anymore, did that have something to do with having to recalling the keyblade?
Arin then noticed some new attackers joining the fray, a small pair of yellow eyes from a Neoshadow slowly sinking into the ground, and a Samurai who's white body contrasted strongly against the darkness of the prison. The Samurai and Neoshadow, which was hidden in the darkness, rushed for JesseY while she was focusing on the large Heartless. The moment JesseY focused her attention on the Samurai, the Neoshadow would leap up from the ground and spun around like a disk with its claws swiping at her back. Nirax was orchestrating everything from atop the dark hunter, his plan focusing on keeping everyone off balance, and keep them from gaining any rhythm in battle.

[OOC: Assuming JessY goes for the Samurai, you mean ;D Which, ftr, her name doesn't have a second 'e'.]
With the giant beast focusing on Arin constantly, there was no way for her to get a really good opportunity to exploit the beast's obvious weakness of having no means of defense from latched predators, aside from the one riding it, but she figured she would be prepared for him next time. Despite these combat scenarios being much more real to her now, she was disappointed each time that the bosses actually learned from the mistake the first time unlike in video games, instead of repeating an attack script to give the player the chance to inflict damage in waves, she had to find a unique and different way to approach the scenario which each successful strike. Luckily she was a fairly creative human being full of ideas and ways to look at things from different angles.
That would hardly matter, before she could even begin to entail the beginnings of a new plan, she had something completely new to deal with. Fantastic, minor enemies, as if they didn't have enough on their plate. "Coward! Don't send these chumps to fight for you!" The cloaked dude may have spoken with a monotone before but it was time to test if he was truly void of emotion, much like a character she knew very well (unfortunately). She was familiar with her new adversaries though. The samurai would easily fell her in one strike if she wasn't careful and the Neoshadow would pop up when it was the most inconvenient. Whatever. She would deal with it when she got there.
Spawning dual odachi blades made from pure light energy, she rushed the Samurai with one sword forward and the other up defensively, making it optimal to defend any counter attacks. Before the slash connect, surprise! Claws digging into her back! Ow, that really hurt! "Bitch!" she exclaimed, losing momentum. This would be perfect however! A spiked pillar of light shot from JessY's newly freed right hand and went to impale the neoshadow, branched up, and then branched back down at the diagonal and impaled it again from two more direction in quick success. What was even better, was the second branching also doubled to possibly impale the nearby samurai with two thinner spikes aimed at its chest.
Hoping to hold everyone in their place like this, she brought her hands together and started swinging them down while spawning massive two-handed sword onto the neoshadow, curving to the left and driving it into a single spin slash, using the momentum to leap back to the samurai for a colossal stab attack. Depending on how her light show went, she would reposition herself away from the creatures and start organizing her next attack or if she whiffed it entirely buckle down and get ready to shield herself from strikes with a bubble of defensive energy.

The Neoshadow was quickly disposed of, vanishing in black smoke, but the Neoshadow was slightly more reactive, evading attacks unlike its normal Nobody cousins. The Samurai deflected the sword strikes with relative skill, then sidestepped and swung with both blades at JesseY's abdomen, before spinning into a defensive pose, and keeping her from getting anywhere near the larger heartless. The double's eye twitched when JessY called him a coward, lifting his keyblade up and swinging it down to send a blade of dark energy cutting its way through the prison towards JessY.
"You speak as if I care about cowardice, girl. What I do to win is a means to an end, and that end is the destruction of all keybearers and the power that sparked their creation, I don't care how I achieve it."
Arin took the minor distraction as the chance he needed to get his drive form charged and ready to go. His body was now exerting a chaotic blend of light and dark aura, and his blades were pulsing with light and dark auras respective of the element that the sword represented. On the dark hunter's next pass, he leapt up on top of it, brandishing his swords at Nirax "Why don't you try focusing your attention on me, I'm the one you're here for, right?" His black coat formed around his body, shielding his aura from the ambient darkness surrounding him.
Nirax turned and faced Arin, splitting the keyblade in two and rearing his arms back "When I finish with you, I'm going to destroy everyone else that you care about, and you will be the one to blame." Nirax charged forward, clashing blades with Arin, and staring into his original's eyes with that soulless, blank stare "Your life will mean nothing but despair after you're gone, and I will slowly remove every keyblade wielder from existence, before I destroy the one thing you all seek so desperately." "Yeah, yeah, you've said it all before! Now get on with it, would you?"

Well, the mob would have to do a lot better than sidestepping to get ahead of JessY in the fight! Quickly dispatching her Zweighandler and first calling up one odachi to deflect the first strike, she would call up another to consistently block the second incoming slash from the Samurai's executed spin. She would burst out into a counter attack but with the pesky annoyance deciding to step back and defend, she couldn't really land a good strike. However, the Nobody probably didn't expect the girl to lace a terrathread behind it, to which all of a sudden her sword slashes came from two angles.
Mimicking her sword strikes, the ability energy that crept behind the nobody would leap up and whip around like a blade. With its back exposed, perhaps the hit-stun would open up the samurai's front as well leaving her actual sword strikes to start hitting their mark, inflicting double the damage. She would only get in a couple hits before she felt a hefty vibration and a large dark crescent of energy barreling toward her. Rolling to the side would be the end of that, but now she was out of position. If the Samurai wasn't dispatched in that last volley she would have to turn back to it briefly, otherwise she would sprint over to Arin and attempt to gang up on the evil rider.
What made her pretty happy was the attacker's great disdain for being called a coward. Being super defensive about how he would do anything to achieve his goal made him seem insecure. Well, if he couldn't care less about being a coward, then he couldn't possibly care about being engaged two versus one! If he did, then maybe he should've taken his own advice about how to fight. Granted, the samurai being dead, of course. Forming a block midair and attempting to flatten it as a follow-up seemed like a good way to go if it still wriggled about, but otherwise her attention would be turned to whoever pulled the strings here.

Sadly, as soon as JessY started focusing on the Samurai, another Neoshadow had replaced the last, and had snuck behind her to try slashing at her back while she was distracted.
Arin and Nirax were matching blade for blade, the doppelgänger copying every one of Arin's moves and keeping his glowing, blindfolded gaze on his opponent, who was gritting his teeth, and fighting to overpower his enemy.
"It must be such a burden, knowing that you unleashed such a dangerous darkness into the universe, that knowledge must weigh your heart down immensely." Nirax brought both halves of his keyblade up to smash down at Arin from above, which he countered by bringing both of his swords up to block. Once again, the two were clashing blades atop the charging heartless. His resolve weakened from losing his key, Arin was struggling to keep from having Nirax overpower him, the mental, physical, and emotional struggle shown clearly on his face, a face only Nirax could see for now.
"Just let it go, give in to your pain, give in to your guilt. Let the anguish of knowing that your actions will bring suffering to the people of this universe consume you, and fulfill your purpose by letting me take your identity."

Another one!? Unfortunately, she was prepared this time, the same dirty trick wasn't going to work twice! It may have appeared behind her but by no means was it subtle int he slightest while doing so. So, she would just have to work a turning-slash into her combo to hit the Neoshadow, but the terrathread would continue unhindered. With this method, she would easily be able to dish out a decent dollop of damage to both enemies. While she wouldn't be overloading the Samurai now behind her, she would be able to keep everything at bay. After a few initial slashes, she switched her odachi into her Zweighandler again and spun around, attempting to cleave both enemies in half right away.
She wouldn't be able to get too fancy in such close quarters, her technique was more primarily adjust for volatile single-target effect or one of an enclosed away free of allies. with herself between the two enemies, her area-of-effects were limited but not impossible. She might have to be blunt and basic with these rather intrusive and noninteresting creatures, but the real fun would begin when she could escape this boring cycle and begin chewing on the real nourishing meat. She might just have to resort to building a mega cannon and just literally fire this guy's ass.

The Neoshadow ducked beneath the sword strike, and the Samurai leapt back out of the large blade's reach, poising to strike with its -now- glowing blades. In one swift motion, it lunged forward, swiping with its swords to slash at JessY's gut. The Neoshadow also leapt forward, trying to strike JessY's back while she was preoccupied with the Samurai.
Arin was slowly being forced to one knee, his will wavering as he once again was being overpowered by his dark manifestation. He may have gotten stronger since then, but that meant nothing without his ability to wield the keyblade, something that Nirax had no trouble with. Eyes shut and straining, his arms shook as his strength and will to fight was dwindling.
"You've finally realized you have no chance…I'll make sure to make the people of this universe suffer, Arin. And then I will destroy the last bit of light that the worlds cherish, and bring everything to darkness…"
Arin's eyes opened wide as he heard Nirax's threat, remembering the last time he heard those words. He then understood the danger that giving up would mean if he didn't fight back. If every shred of light was destroyed in the world, the realm of darkness would consume everything, and Nirax would be an arbiter that would bring about that darkness.
His swords pushed hard against Nirax's keyblades, forcing himself back to his feet. Not only did his light sword glow brighter, but so too did his dark sword begin consuming the rays from his light sword, an endless cycle that caused an visual distortion around his body where the two auras clashed. Nirax's eyes narrowed as he saw Arin's resolve returning, pushing hard against Arin's blades as his body started to grow hotter. But Arin was ready for this, his aura pulsing in response.
"Burn." "Guard!"
An explosion of black flames erupted from the top of the Dark Hunter's back, causing an immense amount of damage to the charging Heartless that forced the large beast to lift its veil of darkness over the area. Nirax was still clashing against Arin, who's barrier had just shattered from around his body.
"What is it going to take for you to die…"
"You're a threat to the balance of this world, Nirax, and I'm going to see to it that you never ruin the life of another soul again, even if it kills me!"

Oh great, what a chore! Nothing seemed phased by her attack, and now she had an even bigger problem: the samurai actually had weapons now, and wasn't afraid to use them. "For crying out loud!" JessY yelled and she balled down toward the ground and formed a dome of energy over her head, protecting her from all of the attacks. While she was protected, she formed a small box of energy, solidified it, and suspended it in front of her with a thin line. After the last bounce of her shield, she dispelled it to emerge guns a-blazing. With three quick arm motions, she slide her hand past the box to simultaneously grab and throw three deadly knives at the neoshadow at once with each swing, hoping to gain some ground.
With some hit-stun hopefully accurred, she could jump at the neoshadow with her odachi blade and dispatch it with a couple furious slashes, jumping to the side and turning mid-air with an aerial flip, planting her hand to quickly fling herself back to her feet now facing the samurai, tossing the remaining six knives in bouts of three similarly to before and extended her odachi blade into a longer, but lightweight halberd to take some easy swings, hopefully.
Meanwhile she could catch some glimpses of the conversation going on nearby as well. She couldn't even stifle her laughter, with too much focus going into her ongoing fight. One might ask what she found so funny, but she brought it upon herself to speak up before anyone would have the chance. "My gosh, forgive for not taking this seriously but you two are full of yourselves! It's like watching a poorly-scripted television drama!" Even in the midst of battle, her Bitchometer was off the charts, wailing with laughter and calling out the two hunks fighting out for the fate of the universe or something. They're in Castle Oblivion, as far as JessY was concerned (and could remember), there was little consequence to whatever happened here. Worst case scenario, she believed she could play her ocarina, get everyone out of here and nothing would be particularly changed. Whatever evil premonitions that dwell in here were special effects; they wouldn't it make it very far beyond the doors.

Once again, the Neoshadow was quickly disposed of, but the Samurai was sitting in a it's sword dance, the knives bouncing off of it like nothing happened. Just as JessY was turning her attention to the Samurai, it charged forward, slashing at her midsection while stepping past her, then spinning to slash at her back, all in one swift motion.
Arin gritted his teeth as he heard JessY's trash talking, starting to get annoyed with her bitchy behavior "How about you tone down the bitch talk and focus on KILLING THE GIANT HEARTLESS!"
He forced Nirax off of his blades and brought his blades down in an overhand smash, which was barely blocked by the dark doppelgänger. Arin kicked Nirax back, near the back of the Dark Hunter's back, launching a wave of black flames at Nirax, before swiping his swords and launching a cross slash wave at the unexpecting Nirax.
When the fire cleared, Nirax was standing with a severed arm on his right side, both halves of his keyblade held firmly in his left hand, and he was now throwing it at Arin with killing intent. Arin juked left and right out of the way of each attack, sneaking closer to Nirax as he waited for his chance to finish Nirax off.

This Samurai was certainly a persistent pest. However, it made the mistake of thinking JessY was an easy target due to using a weapon with reach. The first attack was easy blocked by just holding her weapon vertical, just slightly to the side. The way it moved to get her in the back was slow and clunky leaving it wide open for JessY's killer reaction time to spin-leap and catch the samurai as it failed to slash anything, allowing her to pull in and stagger the Nobody before thrusting twice and twirling to the left and bringing the halberd blade crashing down on the Samurai, which would easily knock it over if it wasn't outright defeated at that point. If it still managed to hang around, JessY would throw up a cage around it from her weapon, something that wouldn't be broken anytime soon through the samurai's minuscule strength alone making its only way of escape to teleport (or something to that effect).
It was only after she could afford to drop focus for half a second would she acknowledge the boy however. "Yeah yeah don't get your panties in a twist." She would make a slight detour away from her spot for this next act, as she formed another solid cube of ability energy in her hands and followed the massive rampaging Heartless. It was a rather predictable monster, once it had a direction it simply charged forth like no tomorrow. Well, there was a very easy way to abuse this. Pressing her palms together, JessY flattened to newly solidified cube and then threw her arms forward, sprinkling dozens of glowing spike clusters out in front of the big Heartless's next path. Trampling on these would probably hurt quite a bit, like attempting to trample into an over-sized pricker bush.
This act alone would be likely to slow or even disable the monster completely, which would allow for some heavy hits with her two-hander. If it managed to trudge on as if nothing happened, perhaps something bigger was in order. The caltrops weren't meant as much to inflict damage as they were to disable the monster, the spikes would easily get lodged into the bottom of its feet making it very difficult to continue charging (or move much at all for that matter, unless it could tolerate all the pain). If it didn't seem to stop any time soon, well, back to the drawing board.

The Samurai was caged, leaving it unable to do anything. With nothing left to do, it vanished, defeated. The beast was slowed down slightly, but the pain only caused a minor debuff to its speed, the beast ignoring the pain and roaring out in rage as it suddenly grew distorted. It rushed to the edge of where its dark veil originally was, and started circling around the area rapidly. Red, green and blue afterimages blended together to form a giant multicolored ring around the area, and every so often a giant heartless afterimage would fly through the area, trying to tackle anything in its path and targeting anything that it could.
When the heartless started using its afterimage attacks, Arin and Nirax were forced off of the heartless, Nirax cashing into the ground, and immediately rolling out of the way as Arin came down with his swords poised to decapitate his doppelgänger. Nirax threw his keyblade at Arin again, and Arin deflected it before charging forth to swing at Nirax's undefended head. With no means to protect himself, Nirax was, at first, motionless. Then he slowly dropped to his knees, then fell to the ground, his head rolling from his body. As his motionless body laid on the ground, it dissolved into darkness the keyblade vanishing as well.
With Nirax disposed of, Arin rushed over to help JessY with the giant Heartless "I think it's almost dead, it acted like this the last time I fought it." He looked back at Prythian, checking to see that he was still with them, and not dead yet. "We need to end this, quickly, I don't know how much time he has left."

One annoying baddie out of the way, two to-- one to go! Just after JessY pissed off the rampaging beast, Arin finally got his butt in gear and took the opportunity to finish off his nemesis. It was fitting to say the least, this shadow of a human threatening to destroying everything meets an unglamorous death with nobody to talk about it. Of course, to JessY everything they fought was just a shadow of what it once was, none of this being actually threatening to her. So, her strategy to deal with her newest problem was both effective and stylish.
Of course, it could easily be easier to do the same thing in a more practical way, but why not make it interesting? She didn't have anything to lose, having a distinct advantage over the vastly inferior monster and a literal safety net if things happened to go not according to plan. Of course, to Arin this wouldn't look like she put any extra effort for the style points, it would simple sway as a natural attack, but he would know better if he actually knew her as a person. Still, this could be the one attack to rule them all in terms of dealing with this massive Heartless right here and now. "I got it covered, just prepare a special beam cannon or something to finish if off if it makes it out of my next stunt alive," she would begin saying, taking a step toward the action only to pause immediately without turning around. "And before you complain, I don't mean literally."
Now the fight would get interesting since plunging into the chaos. After a few key dodge rolls, its pattern was mapped intricately in her focused mind. On the next charge, JessY stood steadfast in the center of it all. "Yer dead, son!" A small pillar of energy popped up underneath her, throwing her high into the air where she twirled and flipped to be upside down, spawning her massive Zweighandler to make a deep incision along the entire beast's back. But, that wasn't it! The pillar transformed into a hollow light energy clone of JessY also with a massive sword and held it up to simultaneously cut the underbelly! Oh, did you think it stopped here too? The twirl was an incentive, she had already sent too small lines to the sides of the beast and this motion triggered them to whirl like circular saws making cuts on both sides! By the end, this beast would be absolutely covered in injuries, in addition to anything else it might have suffered.
At the end of her upward trajectory, she would flip back upright but crouched and land on a floating platform of energy would make on the spot after dissipating her sword to generate enough capacity. She would be too high for the beast to reach, and would stay completely out of the way for whatever Arin might've prepared in response to her telling him to ready an attack (if the monster even survived somehow). That attack was a bit cumbersome as well, taking quite a lot of focus, so getting a second to sit and collect herself would also prove advantageous should the fight continue beyond any possible follow-ups.

The four-way attack certainly did its job, weakening the heartless to almost critical levels, as evident by a greatly reduced level of speed. Arin took the opportunity to charge forward, and get beneath the beast, aiming upward and sending a cross smash wave at the beast neck. It disintegrated into darkness, and all was finally calm again.
Arin, breathing deeply, felt his drive form power down, his body no longer forming its chaotic aura around his swords and upper body. Taking the opportunity, he scanned the area for a nearby doorway, spotting one on a cliffside reachable by a ladder. Arin pointed the ladder out to JessY, walking over to Prythian's body to help him to his feet.
"There's our ticket out of here, think you can levitate him up to the top? I can take the long way and meet you up there." After getting a confirmation or rejection from JessY, he would either head for the ladder, and make his way up, or not.

The beast was dispatched! This was definitely cause for a celebration. And by a celebration, clearly they meant 'there's the exit let's get out of here' which JessY was actually totally down for. Anything crazy like that again and she might have to whistle for a cab out of here. It was pretty intense, something she could handle and more than willing to participate in, but if they were going to be constant or regular she might get worn out quickly. For the moment, she stood and caught her breath, putting a lot of effort in that last attack and needing a moment to collect herself again. She still had plenty of energy left however, she didn't really look tired at all.
"What a rush. Yeah, though while I'm not sure 'levitate' is the word I'd use I have him covered," she replied with a simple tone. "Though it's times like these where I feel it would be convenient to be able to carry around more healing products." She would walk over to Prythian, bend down and scoop him up with one of arms over her shoulder, connecting a small brace of energy to keep him upright. She hobbled over to the cliff side with him near the ladder and figured she should start their ascend.
"Hang on tight wickerboy." Probably not the best nickname for someone riddled with holes all over, or for anyone really. Still, a platform of energy appeared beneath them, and with a thin and nearly transparent line beneath it she began to force their makeshift elevator up. It rose at a steady speed so everyone could easily keep their balance, and once they were at the top, she would hobble over to the door and wait for Arin. "Probably would be best if the person not carrying the handicapped took the lead," she would say once he was there.
