Not particularly the warmest welcome, but it was effective. Especially when your only gracious means of transportation was flying while in demon form. It wasn't like Abraxas had any desire to hole himself up into a Gummi Ship and blast off around the place. Nope, he liked to fly in style, on his own wings. Flying also to the highest point in Radiant Garden also was one of the easiest things to do but how to get back down without looking like a freak was the hard part. Especially when you were a silver skinned demon with a tail that looked like a treble clef had uncurled itself on you so that the bottom part could swing around and have a dandy good time collecting lightning strikes.
Yeah, it wasn't always easy being a demon, but once Abraxas was close to the ground, enough so that he didn't have to worry about breaking both his legs and his spine, he wogged to his human appearing form and landed upon the ground, taking in a deep breath before he righted himself and rolled his shoulders. Ah, he could feel so much energy in this place. So much electricity flowing through wires around him. It was a good place to relax for a time and snack every so often.
But putting aside that thought, Abraxas stepped out of the shadows and into the streets. To claim a piece of this area as his own. And relax.
Well... That last part was unlikely.

OOC: Sorry for the wait. Been busy.
IC:
And it seems Radiant Garden was about to be cursed with the presence of two demons instead of just one.
Azrael was among the populace. Easily towering over them, he heard the whispers as he passed by - of fearful, of mocking, of angry nature. But it mattered little to him. People, he had utterly no interest in. No, all he cared about what his metalworking. He had a shop back in Twilight Town that serviced people, but he loved to create new weapons and armor, finding new ores and material to experiment with. It was his passion and his life. And that was the reason why he was here today. So what if people were afraid of him and scorned him? As long as he could go about his business, he could not care any less.
He stepped into a weapon's shop and saw the shopkeeper. Scraggly fellow who seemed to almost wet himself at the sight of him. Absolutely uncaring about his fear, he rumbled, "I have heard that you have Arcanium ore here. I wish to purchase all of it." The shopkeeper gulped and stammered out, "A-All of it? B-But it's v-very ex-" Azrael stopped him with an upraised hand. "I have munni. Show me," he said. The shopkeeper nodded, scurried out, and soon came back with a large lump of Arcanium.
Azrael examined the lusterless orange lump of ore. He tapped it gently, teleported in a small glass to examine it closely. After a few more tests, he nodded. It was genuine. He checked the weight as well, then dropped a somewhat large bag of munni on his counter. "I believe you'll find that more than sufficient," he said calmly. Without saying anything more, he took the Arcanium and left the store. Well, that was easier than he thought. Now what to make with it...?

Walking down the street, rather normal in comparison to Azreal who was in the same general area, but street lights flickered from small electrical surges from Abraxas's presence. The closer he was to the light, the more it flickered. It was a blessing of give and take. Some people who even stood as he passed by had static affecting their hair. It was the murmured fear, mocking, anger that drew Abraxas's attention and he moved to where the murmurs were thickest. Just outside of a blacksmith's shop, where the man inside seemed quite a bit richer. Inquiring briefly about materials, seeming quite enthused and he was able to warm up the smith enough to find out what had been bought. Arcanium ore.
Abraxas nearly swore upon the lords of Hell when he heard the metal type and he purchased a good amount of steel ore before he moved on his way and as he stepped out of the smith's shop, Abraxas's skin changed silvery, with inky markings streaking across it. The smith had just sold to his second demon within 10 minutes. Bulb-like tail curling behind him like a music note, he looked far less intimidating than the demon from before, aside from being a touch less human in appearance. There were less whispers about him, less fear, less mocking, less anger. Any negativity he heard would be punctuated with a small electrical shock to the speaker. He didn't care for chatter. It was boring.
He pondered the possibility of quickly finding the demon mentioned before. Hmmm...

He had trodden out of town, leaving the whispers behind him. There was a good amount of arcanium ore here he could use. He had made a suit of armor that was designed for battlemages - mages who preferred to go into war well-protected instead of wearing the classic robes that most spellcasters favored. Arcanium ore was great for conducting magical energy, making it a favorite to use by magicians and wizards. However, it was difficult to handle and forge into something reasonable. Most people forged it into weapons, but most of the time, they weren't made properly so the metal's potential was greatly diminished.
Already, the ideas he had for it were surging. But first, he had to make sure just how much arcanium he had here, and how much impurities he had to remove... Then he sniffed. He smelled something in the wind. He glanced behind him. Another hellspawn like himself? He frowned. And they seemed to be trying to find him. Bah. Hellspawn, humans, they were all alike. He didn't want any more company. As long as he could get to his gummi ship and take off without incident, he was happy. With that, he continued walking, hoping he could get there before they showed up.

There was a lot for Abraxas to consider as he hurried after the other demon and he eventually took to the rooftops, leaping with the grace of a kangaroo over the savanna and he started to focus his attention on catching up with the demon quickly before he finally caught sight of him.Oh fun. A shadowflare demon. Abraxas thought sarcastically and he gave a sharp whistle as he came to be parallel with him upon the street, to get his attention.
"That is quite a sum of ore." he spoke from the roof, slowing his pace a bit to walk more casually above Azrael.

That is quite a sum of ore.
Azrael blinked and looked up. He recognized the kind of demon he was - one of those electrical demons that were of a very nomadic nature. It wasn't often one saw such a demon in such a populated world, much less in human form. Perhaps he had been flushed out by the rumors that another demon had appeared. He didn't know, nor did he care. Honestly, although he had been here for no more than a couple seconds, Azrael already tired of his company. He wanted him gone so that he could return to his ship and continue his work.
"What do you want," he asked, his voice soft but echoing, carrying easily up to the other demon. He might as well find out. If this demon proved to be a threat, wanting to rob or kill him, he would quickly find out Azrael was no mere blacksmith. After all, if he wanted his weapons to be the best, he would have to make sure by wielding them himself. He was a fighter as well as a smith - and if this demon pushed him, he would find out the hard way. But still, there were times for diplomacy and times for violence. This was time for a bit of diplomacy - to dismiss him as soon as possible, more accurately. He hoped this demon wouldn't waste too much of his time.

"Peace, brother." Abraxas said softly and he tilted his head to the side slowly. "I mean you no harm, only curious as to your presence at this world." It was not common for demons to spot each other too often on living worlds after all. His wings stayed sheathed within his back and the bulb-like tail curled absently about him. He was so full of electricity that he could have either powered the city block or he could knock out all the electricity in the city with a simple power surge. This demon, this shadowflare, was going to have a handful of effort to go through if they did come to blows. But for now there was only peaceful opportunity.
"I have not heard of many who know how to properly manipulate arcanium ore." he started. "Which is another part of my curiosity." he expressed and he moved to the edge of the roof, raptor like claws ticking against the top of the roof's wall, waiting for an answer.
