Amaya would have rather been with Arin longer but she knew they had a mission to carry out. Still, it was a nice reprieve from knowing what they had to do. It helped her a bit to keep sane. She wasn't sure how bad it would be for her once the last two were killed...or even one of them. Reiko and Asami had been so close to her. She knew it would likely break her heart.
When Arin had lightly bumped her arm, she giggled at his response. "I don't know...I might hold it against you until you make it up to me," he teased. Amaya had followed Arin out of the room. She felt uplifted. As Arin spoke, she couldn't help but redden. "Uheh, maybe they shouldn't know about that..." Then, Arin said that she could ask him more about what she did when they were in a more private area.
"...I was that bad, wasn't I? Alrighty, if I am, I will." She then walked down the hall with Arin, surprisingly relaxed and giddy.

Arin chuckled and tightened his grip on Amaya's hand, not enough to hurt her, but enough to show he didn't want to let go anytime soon "Okay then~ The next time it's just us two chatting and joking around, I'll tell you all about last night~ and don't worry, we don't have to tell the others anything, we just need to make sure alls well."
He then looked back at her slyly, raising an eyebrow "And how do you expect me to make it up to you for beating you up?"

Amaya felt Arin's hand tighten around her's. Honestly, she didn't mind. It was reassuring to know that he was there. As he spoke, Amaya rose a brow at him. "Not sure if I should be worried about that or not," she replied with a chuckle. They were just going to make sure all was well with the others.
When Amaya brought up the subject about Arin making it up to her, she heard his response. How did she expect him to? All she did was give him a smile. "When all is said and done, I'll leave that up to you to decide." She wouldn't say more on the subject before they finally came upon the others.
"Good morning."

Arin was about to retort, but couldn't, as they were now in the presence of Hercules, Phil, and Meg "Well, it's about time you two lovebirds got outta bed, was your night eventful at least?" Arin blushed softly, rubbing his neck as he glanced briefly to Amaya, then back to the others "It was…Different…That was our first time having wine."
Herc pulled back two chairs that were sitting next to each other, walking back to his seat "Well, you two seem more at ease, at least. Come over and have something to eat, it'll help get you over the aftereffects of the wine." "Sounds like a good idea to me." Arin led Amaya to her seat, and pushed the chair in as she sat, before taking his seat beside her, and filling his plate with the food that was laid out this time.

As soon as they met up with the others, Phil had asked them how they were doing. If their night, at least, had been enjoyable. Amaya's face reddened. "N-Nothing...happened...we were just...drunk." It was the truth...well, save for what Amaya did last night but that was it. Neither had gotten very far, thankfully.
When Hercules spoke, Amaya nodded her head. She walked over with Arin and took a seat. Arin had pushed the seat in though as she was sitting. Not that Amaya had minded it. As he seated himself, only then did she start grabbing her food. The meal was fantastic. Soon, Amaya forgotten the pain from the wine she drank last night.
"This is delicious."

"And it helps ease the pain of hangovers, headaches can be quite a pain if you don't know how to deal with them." Arin took a bite of the eggs that were on his plate, smiling energetically as he started eating a bit faster, the grogginess of the wine slowly fading away "What's a hangover?" He asked so innocently.
"It's when you have too much wine or ale and end up making impulsive decisions that could ruin you in the long run, kid. And seeing how your girlfriend handled a single goblet and you only half of one last night, I would recommend not drinking any more in the future."
Arin nodded slowly, blushing deeply as he thought of what could have happened had he drunk an entire goblet as well, they very well could have ended up doing something they both might have regretted "…Got it…No more wine…" He shyly started eating his meal again, when Meg piped up with a rather curious tone
"So, you two walked in here in quite a cheerful mood. Something had to have happened for you to be this happy after yesterday's ordeal~"
Arin blushed even deeper, immediately recalling what happened bad in the room before they left. He was a tease when Amaya was the only one around, but now that there were other people discussing what happened, he was red as a tomato.
"Um…" He was at a loss for words, too embarrassed to say anything now. So instead of talking, he went back to stuffing his face with the delicious food in front of him.

Amaya heard Hercules explain that eating helped ease the pain of hangovers. It made sense. She appreciated it since her head had been hurting quite a lot earlier. "Yeah, my head was throbbing." Then, Arin had asked what a hangover was. Amaya looked over at him confusedly. How did he not know? Then again, he probably didn't really know much about it. Phil soon filled him in on what that was.
Hearing what the satyr advised against, Amaya gave a sheepish laugh. "Y-Yeah...no more drinking for me..."
Then, Meg brought up the inevitable. It caused Amaya to turn as nearly bright of a red as Arin. Granted, she didn't remember anything that happened last night but she knew enough, upon waking, what may have happened. Luckily, Arin hadn't drunk enough wine to be as effected as Amaya had been or things might have turned out much worse.
"Er...just a misunderstanding happened...wh-which we figured out in the end that n-nothing bad happened last night..." Amaya found it hard to speak but she had a feeling the others wouldn't stop bombarding them with questions until an answer was given. "W-We...er....w-we....kissed. There, I said it!" Amaya covered her head with her arms then out of embarrassment.

Arin was blushing more than ever after Amaya admitted to the others what had happened, swallowing a large mouthful of food and choking it down a bit when he heard Phil speak up "So you're telling me nothing really did happen between you two? Wow kid, you really didn't go through with it. I figured with the wine in your blood, you two would've been all over each other for hours."
Arin coughed as space filled in his windpipe again, taking a deep breath to center himself "…W-well…I almost did, before my morals kicked in and I did what was right…All we did was kiss, that was it…Can we please change the subject now?"
Hercules was the first to speak after a long period of silence "…So…What do you two have planned for your friend's corpse?" Arin looked over at Amaya, then back to Hercules "…We're going to bring him to a wizard, who will preserve his body until we can give him a proper burial."

Amaya kept her face hidden after admitting that all they had done was kiss. If her grandmother had heard such a thing, she would've been really embarrassing right about now. Since she was used to Ai's behavior, Amaya almost half expected the same sort of reaction from others. Thankfully, none of them did...well, save for Phil. He sounded shocked that nothing worse happened since he thought the wine would have had them out of their minds. It was a lucky thing they didn't go much farther than kissing.
Arin, whom had almost choked on his food, responded by saying they almost did but his morals kicked in before anything worse took place. Then, he proceeded to request that they change the subject. After an embarrassingly long period of silence, Hercules broke it to ask them what they had planned for their friend's corpse. Amaya, at this point, had lifted her gaze from her arms. Arin had looked over at her and Amaya looked back at him before Arin had answered Hercules's question for her. They were going to take Drake's body to Yen Sid so that he could preserve it for them until they could give the fallen Dragoon Warriors a proper burial. Amaya nodded to confirm this.
"Yeah, we've a lot of work to do. We're only half way done."

"I see…Well, hopefully your journey ends well. It would be a shame to have met you two, only to find out you perished during this quest of yours." Arin sighed and took a drink of his orange juice, a much needed change from the wine from last night "Agreed. I want this to be over with, but at the same time, I wish we didn't have to…"
Arin lowered his gaze, avoiding eye contact for a while "I lost everything from my homeland to darkness, helping someone free the hearts and souls of their friends is something I swore to do when I obtained the keyblade, but I never wanted to resort to mercy killing." He took a deep breath and raised his head, remaining quiet and finishing his plate while the others talked.

"I hope we fare well too...not that I want to kill people who were once good...but it must be done."
Arin had said something and she looked back over at him. He didn't make eye contact as he had lowered his gaze. According to Arin, he had lost a lot when his homeland fell into darkness. Helping others by freeing their hearts and souls was something he swore to do when he got his keyblade. However, Arin never wanted to resort to mercy killing others.
"...No one ever wants to...but for my friends...I have to do it."

Arin looked over to Amaya when she agreed with him, saying she didn't want to kill her friends, but had to do it for their sakes. He reached over and held her hand softly, looking into her eyes "And that's why I'm going with you, to make sure you aren't a victim of your own darkness when all of this is over."
Hercules looked at Arin and Amaya, seeing how close they were, and smiled. It reminded him of his dedication to keeping Meg and Phil safe from whatever Hades sent after him. Standing up, he held his goblet out as if offering to give a toast.
"How about one last toast before you leave? To our friends, new and old, and the ties that bind us all."
Arin looked at Hercules as he was giving this new and, although simply put, heartfelt toast. Standing up himself, he raised his glass as well "…Be it worlds apart, lost to the darkness, or no longer among the living, our hearts will always remain connected…"
Phil stood up on his seat, holding his goblet up as well "And no matter how long we may be apart from one another, may we never forget the happy times that we share with them, even should they forget about us."

Amaya suddenly felt Arin place his hand over her's. Looking up at him, she heard what he said. He was going with her to make sure that she didn't fall victim to her own darkness once all was said and done. She smiled over at him. "Thank you."
Then, Hercules stood up again with a drink in his hand for another toast. It was really heartfelt, then Arin stood up as well and said his say as well. Next, so did Phil. All three of them had pretty much said what needed to be said. Standing up, Amaya raised her glass as well with a smile.
"To the friends we have made here, have made and the friends we will make along the way. I promise to return again and pay a visit."

Arin looked at Amaya when she stood and smiled, taking a deep swig of his orange juice, and sighing contently. Hercules, happy with the happy ending this breakfast meal, he started departing from the table, returning some time after, with Dante's body in his arms, and his head resting in his own lap "We've kept you two from your quest for long enough, I think it's time you headed out, and finished what you sought out to do."
Arin took the body and held it in his arms, cradling the corpse and looking at Amaya softly "I think that's our queue to take our leave…" He bowed his head respectfully to Hercules and his friends, smiling softly "Thank you all, for everything you've done for us."

Amaya took a drink of the milk in her hand once the toast was over. After that, they had finished their breakfast. Hercules went and retrieved Dante's body. As he spoke, Amaya nodded solemnly to what he had said. It was nice to have made such friends here. Arin took the body from Hercules. With that, he turned to Amaya and said he believed this was their sign to leave. She gave a nod.
"Alright then. Time to go." She looked back over at Hercules, Meg and Phil with a smile on her face. It was one of gratitude. "Thank you everyone. Thank you for everything. We'll see you all again but in the meantime, goodbye and farewell!" Amaya said before summoning her armor. As she did so, she reached out and grabbed onto Arin and in a flash, they were gone from the coliseum and were now in the Sorcerer's Loft.
