Saleth did her best to do as much damage as she could. With the exception of not just Riley but everyone else attacking the god, it seemed like they all just might have a good fighting chance. Spurred on by the adrenaline and knowing she wasn't the only one fighting, Saleth did her best to contribute. She could see that the others were doing their best to direct some of the dark energy away from her even while she fought and she was thankful for it. Once the fighting was over, if they lived, she would thank them.
Once she got closer, Saleth used her claws to climb up the god's body as she bit and slashed the whole way up as best she could. Hopefully, to distract it from focusing too easily on the others.

As Saleth bit and slashed up the god she made countless cuts in its body. An endless waterfall of blood came out of them as the god roared out in pain. It moved two of its arms towards Saleth and formed two orbs of darkness in them. It then shot out those orbs after her. Three of its remaining tentacles moved following Riley. Their serpent heads opened and shot out three beams of darkness after him.
Riley flew away as he tried to avoid the beams. As they closed in on him he stopped and created a barrier of magic around himself. The barrier reflected the beams right back at the god. The beams went right back into the same tentacles, taking them out. Riley then started flying towards the god. As he flew his twin blades appeared in his hands. He combined them together at the handles making a double sword. He spun it around as he flew into the god. He sliced off one of its arms, making it fall before vanishing into darkness.
Maple jumped up into the air as Riley and Saleth kept the god busy. When she hit the ground she caused a earthquake, nearly throwing it off balance. As the god regained its composure Maple charged her axe with lightning magic. She then threw it up at the god. It sliced off one of its other arms, it also falling before disappearing into darkness. Her axe came back to her and she caught it.
While the others went for raw power Winda took a different approach. She aimed her staff at the cracks Riley and her made in its back. It quickly charged with wind magic. She then shot out fifteen orbs of wind at the cracks. They exploded on the cracks, creating holes in its back. As blood ran out the holes she sot five more orbs of wind. This time they were aimed at the part that was on fire. As they hit they blew some of the fire onto the upper part of its back.

Saleth didn't expect to make so much damage but she wasn't going to complain. The more damage they did, the better. When she reached a point on the god, she started to breathe in to breathe fire on it. As she made to, two dark orbs hit her from behind. The impact was not pleasant. In fact, she was seeing stars. The attack caused her to lose her grip on the god and she wound up falling.
Thankfully, miraculously, she didn't fall off the side to who knows how high of a fall and possible death. She landed on the other part of the god, allowing her time to recover. Shaking her head, to rid herself of the dazed feeling, Saleth looked to see what it was that the others were doing. It seemed like they had a good sporting chance. After that close call though, Saleth didn't think it would be wise for her to be that close up again. She could risk dying and then that would be it. Her race would probably be extinct for all she knew. She wasn't sure how many of her own kind was around anymore.
Keeping it calm, Saleth decided to leap off the god and breathe flames from afar at it.

The onslaught of attacks were greatly damaging the god. With the fire, loss of limbs, the countless wounds in it, and the bloodloss it was being beaten from all sides. It gave out a shriek as Saleth blew flames onto it. It was now nearly all covered in fire, taking massive burn damage. This is what Winda had planned on. With a fire breathing dragon and her fire tornadoes she knew the god would be taking a lot of damage from the burn alone.
Winda was calculating what was happening to the god from the start of the battle. She quickly noticed just how vulnerable this god was. It seemed to have a layer of skin to decrease the damage it took. But with all their attacks making cracks in it the layer was giving way. It would be best to aim their attacks into the holes for the most amount of damage possible. With all the holes in it that wouldn't be too hard. She aimed her staff to one of the holes where a tentacle used to be. She shot an orb of wind into it. When it went in it exploded and broke some of the extra skin off.
If Winda could keep this up, they just might to be able to end it now. She shot four more wind orbs into different holes. With most of the extra layer of skin fallen off this made its back a weak point. She then called out to Riley. " Riley! You have to attack its back now! I've made it weaker for you!"
Maple had gotten closer to the god as Riley distracted it by flying around and slicing off its tentacles. As Winda attacked its back Maple used her axe to cut the serpent part of its body. Elizabeth came down from the sky and latched onto the gods head with her claws. She then started slashing through the extra layer with ease. Maple covered herself in an aura of light. Her aura then exploded hitting the god for massive damage.
The god moved its tentacles to try to attack Elizabeth. Riley flew towards her and trapped them in his telekinesis. He then sent them flying back as Elizabeth flew away. When Winda called out to him he looked down at her. He then nodded. He flew doen to the gods and dashed through it. He came out its back making it explode. He then flew through it again. He flew across the area until he turned around to fly towards the god again. " It's over!" He dashed straight into its head, making part of it explode. The god gave out a loud roar as it slowly started to faded away. Its body slowly disappeared into darkness. As the god faded away the sky cleared up, turning back inti daytime. Riley landed on thr ground and turned back to normal. " It's about time we shed some light on things." He said.

Saleth wanted to fly but knew it might not be in her best interest in this fight. She was a swift flier but those beams that thing fired weren't easily avoidable. She would risk her wings getting permanently injured. That was something Saleth never wanted. She loved to fly. The thought of losing it frightened her. She had already lost her vanity, or so she believed, because of the numerous scars placed upon her during those decades of torture she had endured in that prison.
So there she was, breathing fire at the thing's legs and anything that looked like a vulnerability that she could find. So far, it looked as though the cracks and holes in the creature were something to use. She had once passed her fire over one and it hurt the thing. Taking that as a hint, Saleth soon attacked the cracks with her fire helping blow off what looked to be a thick layer of hide. It had armor like a dragon's practically.
There was a shout, Saleth glancing in the direction of the shout. It had come from Winda, the one casting the magic during the fight. At least, that's how Saleth was able to differentiate between Maple and Winda so far. Maple seemed more so of an earthy, power hitter. She could be wrong about her but the fire and wind appeared to be Winda's forte.
Then, Riley acted on what Winda had shouted and went right for the creature's mouth and the thing exploded. Riley appeared unharmed and stated that it was time to shed some light on things. The day literally turned back into day than the dark, forbidding night it had been. Saleth slid to a stop and took that moment to breathe. It was over. It was finally over!
"Man, that took forever."
With a light, Saleth transformed back into her normal form. She was bruised and cut here and there but didn't appear to be all that bothered as she walked over to where the others were.

When Saleth said it took forever Riley shook his head. " Gods always take a while to die," he said. " This one actually died a lot quicker than other ones I killed." Riley faced many gods in his time. In fact his last adventure ended a lot like this one did. Elizabeth flew down and landed onto his shoulders. She than wrapped her arms around his neck. He rubbed her horns. " I see you missed me."
Maple, Winda, and Lana then came over to the others. Maple and Winda turned back to normal. Lana hugged Riley tightly. " Riley are you hurt?" She then looked him over. She licked her figher and rubbed it on one of his wounds. She was now in mother mode. Riley sighed and pushed her off. " Mom! Not in front of my wives!" Maple and Winda giggled. Lana shook her head. " I can't help it. When my little boy is hurt I have to make sure he's okay." Riley's face turned red. " Mom!"
Drake, with the god finally gone, went over to Saleth. It was safe to say he watched from the sidelines in this fight... and the last one, and the one before that. He looked at her. " You were.... really brave out there... running towards danger and all." Why these people ran towards the towering god and not away from it was beyond him. He never wanted to run towards danger, unless he was acting brave to impress a crowd. Derio finally came to the roof. Blood was running across his face and arms. It was obvious his little " talk" with Ren didn't go so well. " Well looks like I missed everything."

Saleth looked over at Riley when he had stated that all gods took a while to die. The one that was just killed was apparently the quickest to kill. "Huh, must be because he was once human?" Saleth stated with a shrug. Really, she wouldn't know. She wasn't an expert when it came to gods and goddesses. Apparently, she was running into a number of them. Lana was a goddess and Riley was a er...son of a goddess but goddess too? She wasn't sure. It was confusing but she knew that Lana was a Goddess and they had just killed one.
Elizabeth came out of the sky and landed on Riley, wrapping her arms around him. Then, Lana got a hold of Riley and it was clear to Saleth that Riley knew the truth about his mother. It was also clear to Saleth that Lana cared a great deal about her son. Enough so that she embarrassed him in front of his wives. Saleth couldn't help but crack a light smile at that.
Then, a light sound reached her ears and Saleth turned. Drake was now approaching now that the fighting was done and over with. She quirked an eyebrow as he made to speak. He believed she was really brave, running into danger like that. This had caused Saleth to raise her eyebrows a little. She was half expecting some kind of insult again. Obviously, she was taken by surprise. Putting on a light smile, Saleth felt a bit flattered.
"Thank you."
Just after Drake had said that, Derio arrived on the scene. He looked the worse for wear. Saleth looked over uncertainly as her gaze went from him to Lana and then back. It looked like Ren might have gotten away...or did he? Had the fight resulted in Ren's death? Hopefully not. It would be a real pity to kill one's family. Saleth knew how that felt. She had to fight Seiya and although she hadn't killed her yet, Saleth knew that time would come. Seiya was a Heartless now. She wasn't the same anymore and had murdered their parents. She was the reason behind Saleth's torture during the time she spent in that prison. Saleth brought her gaze back over at Drake for a moment. How long had he been in prison for? She was under the impression that he had been young at the time if the scientist's words were true about Drake being all grown up.

When Saleth asked if it was because this one was once human Riley shook his head. " Last one I kill was once human, and it took over twice as long to kill with more people helping me." He said. " Maybe because the transformation took longer. That or the other one was just that much stronger. We were also fighting two gods at once." Riley didn't really have an answer for why this was. Both gods looked similar in term of lower serpent body and tentacles coming out of its back. Other than that they were very different not only in how they became gods, but why. " Not like it matters. Both weren't a match for Chaos Riley!" Maple hugged him. " Of course not, as long as I'm around nothing will happen to you. That is as long as it's not me or Winda hurting you."
Winda shook her head. " Whatever the case, all these peoole turning into gods must mean something. Both this god and the last one used their tentacles to form barries. Both also used a powerful magical item to transform. I'll have to look more into this later. I'm worried this won't be the last time this sort of thing happens." Winda didn't like the idea of random humans turning into gods. She could tell this was putting a strain on Riley to keep transforming into Chaos Riley. She and Maple would also have to get a form similar to it so they could support him better.
When Derio came back Lana ran to him. She hugged him tightly. She didn't get a chance to earlier, with all that was going on. She looked at him. " It's been so long Derio. You have to tell me everything!" She then noticed his wounds and the blood on his face. " Where's Ren? What happened?" Derio let out a sigh. " He's gone, he got away." He then put a hand on Lana's shoulder. " He knows the truth now. He... wasn't happy about it. He is still trying to create a new universe, but now he's trying to do it at a faster rate. He also wants us to join him." Lana shook her head. She thought him knowing the truth would change Ren. She knew one of the reasons he was evil was because he thought she was dead. " Ren.... I will change you my son. Whatever it takes we need to bring our son back!"
Drake looked at Saleth. " I'm.... sorry about being a jerk when we first met." He said. " It's just, I never learned how to act around girls. I was never even taught how to be a dragon. I just wanted to impress everyone by coming along, but I did nothing..."

Saleth listened as Riley explained that he had fought another god that looked very much like the one they just killed. According to him, that one took longer despite having once been human. Why that was? Well, no one appeared to know. Maybe it was because there were two at the time? Really, there was no telling. Still, it was unsettling to know humans could suddenly become gods like that one had done. How was that possible? Was there a way to prevent it?
Then, Winda stated her observations on the situation. Maybe the magical items were the same type which enabled them t turn into what they were? Whatever the case, they would be looking into it from what it seemed. Right now, it was time for them to celebrate what victory they had for now and appreciate the fact that they were all alive now.
Saleth saw Lana run toward her husband and embrace him. From what it looked like, Lana hadn't seen him in a very long time. It put a light smile on her face to see most of Lana's family reunited. The only one missing in Lana's family now was Ren. When Derio said that Ren had gotten away it was a bit of a relief for Saleth to hear that. She didn't want for family to kill family like how she would have to with Seiya. She didn't want others to suffer the same problem. It always broke one's heart and it wasn't easy. Even now, she found it hard to think that once, when she last saw Seiya before the change, she used to be the same size as Elizabeth and looked to be twelve as well. Her younger sister used to be innocent. Now, she was a monster and there was no stopping her except killing her. At least, that's what it seemed like for Saleth.
Then, Derio revealed that Ren knew the truth now about Lana. However, he didn't take it well. Instead of Ren wanting to reunite with his family, he would rather make his better universe idea move along faster now. Although, he wasn't beyond his family joining his cause. Of course, Saleth knew that Lana and the others weren't going to. What were they going to do about Ren? Probably none of Saleth's business. However, she didn't mind lending a hand if Lana needed it. She might've seemed gruff when they first met but Saleth liked the Chaos Goddess as a friend. Yes, she saw her as a friend, surprisingly enough despite the short amount of time they had spent here.
Drake spoke again and Saleth locked eyes with him as he apologized for being a jerk earlier. She couldn't help but raise her eyebrows in surprise. She didn't expect an apology from him. According to him, he didn't know how to act around girls and didn't know how to act like a dragon. He had never been taught how to be one. The reason why he had come along was because he was trying to impress everyone by going. Instead of doing anything like the others, he had done nothing. She wasn't sure why but Saleth felt pity toward him. Unlike her, he didn't get to know what life was really like outside of the prison walls when how to be a dragon and how to act around others like females.
Saleth slowly reached out and placed a hand on his shoulder as if she were trying to be reassuring. A friendly smile was on her face. "You are forgiven, Drake. Your were...honest though." Saleth lightly shook her head before continuing. "I find it hard to adjust to interacting with others...so it was bound to happen...me being called out on being standoffish." She looked at him then. He didn't know how to be a dragon? It was disheartening. "Well...since we are the same...I could teach you how to be one if you'd like..."
Then, she followed up with "I also haven't forgotten about teaching you how to fight either." Poor Drake.

As Derio explained what happened to Ren, Riley sighed. So his twin had been here after all. Even after learning about their mother he was still evil. " I guess there's no avoiding it then," he said to himself. " I'll have to fight him to bring him back." It was his original plan to beat Ren to bring him back. Aftering learning the truth about their mother he hopped it didn't have to come to that. Unfortunately it seemed it had to. He placed a hand on his mark and sighed. He still didn't feel like he could beat him.
Maple placed a hand on his face and smiled. " We will bring your brother back Riley," she said. " You just have to believe in yourself like I believe in you. With us by your side we will get through this... together." Winda nodded to him. " Ren will go back to the way he used to be. We just have to keep trying and not just rush in. We need to plan what to do next. Only with a plan can we truly defeat Ren."
Derio sighed. " I know it's hard, but we will have our son back one day. We just need time." Lana hugged him tighter. " I hooe you're right." Drake smiled at Saleth. " You have proven you can be fun when you want to be. Plus you aren't afraid to fight. I like strong women who can take charge." His face turned red, realizing what he just said.

Saleth could hear Riley discussing with the others how he had to fight his twin in order to bring him back. Just how far would the family have to go to bring Ren back? Was Ren too far gone at this point? She hoped that the family could be reunited and happy. She wouldn't want for them to lose a family member after everything they had been through. Granted, she wasn't sure exactly what hey had all been through but she figured it was a lot. More than whatever she had been through.
Her gaze shifted back onto Drake, just after she had seen Derio and Lana embracing, as he spoke. She realized that she still had her hand on his shoulder. Awkwardly, she released it to prevent the situation from getting more awkward. Drake was smiling back at her, saying that she could be fun when she wanted to be. At this, she had given him a nod. Drake didn't stop there, however. He continued on, saying that she wasn't afraid to fight. Saleth let out a bit of a chuckle.
"I never let fear get in the way...but I am smart enough to know when to retreat." It wasn't long before Drake said something he likely did not mean to blurt out. He apparently liked women that took charge. Saleth couldn't help but quirk an eyebrow at this one as Drake's face turned red.
"Good then, you won't have any complaints then when I train and teach you...because your schedule starts as of right now when we get back." Poor, poor Drake.

With the fighting all over, at least for the time being, Riley wanted to do something else. He put his arms around both his wives. " Why don't we all go celebrate?" He said with a smile. Maple giggled and Winda's face turned red. " Celebrate.... right," Winda said. " I'll fix you a pizza. Peperoni and Canadian bacon sound good?" She was completely avoiding what Riley really wanted to do.
Maple shook her head. " Come on let's go before something else happens." She said. " I think Riley wants some Maple syrup." She winked at him as a portal opened up. Before they went in Maple and Winda waved at everyone. " Stay alive until we meet again." As Maple and Winda went in Riley went up to his parents. He hugged both of them. " I'll see you both later. There's a lot we'll need to talk about."
" We will." Derio said. " Right after me and Lana catch up." Riley nodded and went into the portal. Lana called after him. " Don't slack off your training! And remember to wash behind your ears! Also when you and your wives are having fun be safe and use-" Derio covered her mouth and shook his head. " He's our son Lana, he'll be fine." He then looked over to Saleth and Drake. " Why don't we all go out? I know this great bar and casino."
Drake sighed when Saleth said his schedule starts now. Why was she in such a hurry to train him? He didn't mind no being abld to fight that much. " Really? Not even a day to rest up?" Drake then realized he did nothing that required him to rest up. " That is you did a lot today. We should wait and start later." Derio came to save the day again when he asked if they wanted to go out. " Sure! We should get going now!" Drake would want to spend as much time as possible in the and casino. He knew as soon as they left Saleth would want to start training him.

Saleth turned as Winda and Maple called out to everyone, waving. Saleth returned the wave as the girls told them all to stay alive until they all met again. With that, the two women had left the area and Riley went over and hugged his parents. After Riley said that he needed to talk to his parents, Derio bid him farewell and Lana...turned into mother mode. Saleth had to refrain from laughing. Derio saved his son from further embarrassment as he covered his wife's mouth and shook his head saying that Riley would be fine. Changing the subject Derio had turned his attention toward Drake and Saleth.
When Drake asked her not even after a day of rest, Saleth shook her head. He even tried to point out that she had done a lot today. She should at least rest but no, Saleth thought otherwise. "No, the sooner we get started, the better." It would have very well gone on that way if not for the interruption that came from Derio. It was a lucky thing for Drake that Derio had suggested they all go out to some bar and casino. Before Saleth could even respond, Drake was quick to agree to what Derio suggested. Maybe she should take a break?
"Well..." she trailed off before letting out a sigh. "Alright then. A break it is...but we're training once we're well rested tomorrow!" Saleth told Drake. "So where to?" Saleth asked the other two. She didn't exactly see a casino or bar when she was here.

Derio laughed when Saleth insisted on training as soon as tomorrow. " Knowing my kind of time you'll both need all day tomorrow to recover." He said. Derio was known for making people tire out whike having a good time. " The one I was talking about is on the other side of this world. I go there all the time, and I always win mad cash." He opened up a portal. " You two need money right? Well after tonight you won't need more for a long time." He went in it with Lana following close behind.
Drake sighed as Saleth said the sooner the better. Why must she be so persistent? After a moment she agreed to go with Derio and Lana. Unfortunately they were still going to train tomorrow. Drake let out a sigh before Derio spoke again. Apparently he always won a large sum of money, and was going to share it with him and Saleth. " That's awesome!" Drake then looked at Saleth. " Come on let's go!" He went inside the portal.
The portal took them inside a very large casino. It was gold and white with lots of gambling all around. There was ever a bar just as Derio had said. Derio pulled his pink sunglasses doen back to in front of his eyes. " Now this is my kind of place!" He gave his long red hair a flip as he started walking. Well, it was more of a runway walk. He was still in his girl form. Lana shook her head. " He can get a bit carried away here."

Saleth tilted her head a little when Derio mentioned that tomorrow they would need all of that day to recover. What did he mean by that? Oh well, it wasn't like she really knew. According to Derio, the bar and casino was located on the other side of this world. He went there all the time and always won a ton. As Derio opened up a portal, he asked them if they needed a lot of munny. Well, honestly, now that she thought about it Saleth didn't have any munny. All she had was her Gummi Ship and the broken down, old home that her family left behind when they died. Going back here wasn't safe and even there, it was pillaged so there wasn't any munny left or any valuables for that matter. The thieves and salvage teams made sure of that.
Before waiting for an answer, Derio said that they wouldn't need more for a while afterward. Saleth rose her brows as Derio entered the portal with Lana following behind him. Drake sounded excited. Honestly, that was rather nice of Derio. After Drake urged her to go along, Saleth followed through the portal exiting the area last.
When she stepped out of the portal, Saleth's eyebrows rose as she looked around them. It was a massive casino. A lot of bright lights and fancy chandeliers twinkled down at them. A ton of gambling was going on from what she could see. There was a bar just as Derio had said too. "Wow, this is pleasant to look at." Then, Derio flipped his red hair...still in lady form, and headed down the walkway. The way he did were as if he were some sort of model or something. From what Lana said, Saleth wasn't sure what to say.
"I guess if it gets to be too bad we can try to stop him?" She walked alongside Drake and Lana.

Lana nodded to Saleth as they followed Derio. Derio was right when he said he came here all the time. A lot of people knew him here. They watched with shocked looks on their faces as he walked by. They weren't shocked about how he looked, rather that he was alive. Soon a man got in Derio's path. " Derio? Is that you?!" Derio slowly took off his sunglasses and spun around. " The one and only." The man gasped. " But aren't you supposed to be dead?"
Derio frowned. " No, I'm not supposed to be dead." He put his sunglasses on and kept walking. He walked over to a table to play dice. He sat down and placed some munny on the table. Lana came back from going to the bar and placed a glass a of beer next to Derio. The man running it took the munny. The and handed Derio the dice. For some reason the man had a worried look on his face. Why he did was soon revealed. Derio blew on the dice then tossed them behind him. The dice flew over Saleth's head. As the dice bounced around the room everyone watched closely, expect for Derio. He took a sip of his beer. The diced then flew back over Saleth's head and rolled on the table. One landed on three the other on four, making seven. The man then passed a larger sum of munny to Derio. Lana clapped.
Derio finished his beer before taking the munny he won. " Why settle for some munny when you can have a whole treasure?" He got up and went to a slot machine. W put one munny in it and pulled the lever. He then kicked it, it soon landed on jackpot in all three slots. Munny rained down from above as everyone cheered.

Saleth could see the shocked looks upon people's faces. Why did they look so shocked? Surely, others had used portals to travel to here once before? As they went, Derio was finally spoken to. Someone had asked if it really was Derio. They could recognize him, it seemed. When Derio confirmed it was him, someone asked if he was suppose to be dead in which Derio said he wasn't.
There seemed to be a dice table that Derio was walking toward. Lana had gone to the bar and returned at Derio's side with a beer. As she set it down, Derio picked up some dice after putting some munny down. There was a worried look on the man's face at that moment before Derio tossed the dice. It went sailing over Saleth's head, whom ducked out of reflex. The dice bounced about the area before finally sailing back over Saleth's head, causing her to duck again before the dice landed back on the table. The dice read seven. The sum was good since it earned Derio a large sum of munny. The man passed it over to Derio who stated why should someone settled for some munny when they could have a whole treasure. Finishing his beer, Derio walked over to a slot machine.
When Derio walked over to the machine, Saleth watched as he put some munny in the slot and kicked it after pulling the lever. Sure enough, Derio won again. Munny seemed to fall from somewhere above. As everyone cheered, Saleth looked over at Lana.
"Huh, your husband's very lucky...how is he even doing that?" Saleth looked between Drake and Lana.

As the dice went bouncing I around the place Drake ducked down behind Saleth. He hugged. her legs and didn't let go as he closed his eyes. He was trying to use her as a human....er dragon shield. When he heard them hit the table he ooened his eyes, and got back up. As Derio won the jackpot effortlessly, Drake was in awe. " That's amazing!" He then looked at Saleth. " Can you do that?"
Lana giggled as Derio came back to sit. He turned to face them, pushing his sunglasses to the top of his head. " Natural talent," He told Saleth. " I am an O'Malley after all. We've always been very lucky, how else do you think I can back to life? For the... I think fifth time." Derio died so many times he started to lose count. That wasn't something most people did. Then again most people didn't die five times.
Lana shook her head. " Try tenth time," She said. " You die a lot even considering the family you come from." Derio rolled his eyes. " Well it's not like I try to die. Besides I got these while in the underworld." He took off his sunglasses and held them out for Saleth and Drake to see. " Not only do they make me look fabulous, but they match my shorts. They also make me immune to the affects of the underworld." He put them back on top of his head. He watched as munny kept raining down, the jackpot was a very high number. He then looked back to Saleth and Drake. " So how much munny to you two lovebirds need?" Lana giggled and looked at Saleth, giving her the same smirk when they first met.

As the die bounced around, Saleth suddenly felt something wrap around her legs, almost causing her to fall off balance. As she teetered dangerously, Saleth had to flail her arms to catch her balance before she fell. Once she righted herself enough, she looked down. There were arms wrapped about her legs. Blinking, she looked behind herself and down. There, she found Drake had wrapped his arms about her legs using her as some kind of shield.
"H-Hey! Leggo!" Saleth exclaimed.
Then, when that was over, Drake had finally released her legs and got back onto his feet. When he looked at the table and awe and then back to her, asking her if she could do that, Saleth just shook her head. "I've never tried gambling or rolling dice in that manner."
Then, Derio revealed that how he did that was because of natural talent and that he was an O'Malley. His family had a lot of luck on their side and according to him, it was how he managed to return to life...several times. Saleth had thought he had died once and returned. "Uh...wow, er...didn't think it were possible." Already, she was learning from these people that the impossible was not impossible.
Derio eventually revealed that the sunglasses he got were what helped him withstand the effects of the Underworld. "Well, those are certainly handy."
The munny was still falling from above. Where, Saleth still couldn't pinpoint. As she was doing this, she didn't expect what would happen next. Derio directed his attention toward them, the munny still falling, and asked them exactly how much they needed. He wasn't subtle when he had referred to them as lovebirds. Saleth's face turned a light shade of red as she whirled on the spot to face Derio and Lana. "Wh-WHAT?!" she exclaimed. Lana was giving her that smirk when they first met.
'You have got to be kidding me,' Saleth thought to herself. "W-We're not-!" she made to say, at a loss for words. What could she say? She wasn't really sure. Drake was an attractive guy but she only just met him. "W-We're not...lovebirds!" Saleth's face turned an even redder color and all the while she was very conscious of Lana's smirk.

It seemed Saleth wasn't to happy about Drake using her as a shield. Drake thought it was fine, he didn't want the dice to fly into his eyes. " Sorry...." he said. Saleth then explained that she never gambled before. " Neither have I." Drake never got the chance to do anything. He was born in the prison and had been there all his life.
Then, Derio asked them how much money they needed. Drake was about to say something when he called them lovebirds. Drake's face turned red. Just like Saleth, he was at a loss for words. He hadn't even thought about that. He was just enjoying his first moments of freedom. Saleth was... his type, but he would never say it so soon. He did slip to her that he liked strong women, which she was. From what she said, she didn't seem to have caught on. When Saleth answered Derio Drake looked away, not facing either of them. He didn't want them to see his face get redder.
As Slaeth said she thought coming back tolife was impossible, Derio laughed. " Nothing is impossible when you're an O'Malley." He said. " Just look at me. I'm ten thousand years old. Plus I can do this." He snapped his fingers as he was covered in light. When the light faded he had changed. He was now a man with green eyes and green hair. He was still wearing the tank top and shorts however. " See? Thought I was stuck like my son didn't you? I can change at will." He snapped his fingers again as he turned back into the teenage girl. Then he laughed as Saleth tried to respond. She insisted that they weren't lovebirds. " That's what I said when my mother said the same thing about me and my first wife. Look at what happened ten wives later. She was right about Lana being my final wife. Most relationships in my famiky started out just like you two."
Lana giggled as Saleth was trying to form words. She then looked at Derio as he brought up his past wives. She then nodded when he talked about relationships in his family. She then looked back at Saleth. " It's true." She said. She kept her smirk as she placed her fists on her hips. She then leaned to whisper in Saleth's ear. " Derio isn't the only one getting lucky around here." She winked at Saleth.
