Himeiji didn't require the jumping onto Jey's blade to be executed, it was just a way of her trying to gain leverage against the man. However, this had failed and now she was landing, it what appeared to be an overhead attack from the other blade. The strike was fast, but not fast enough to try to gain the already movement speed boosted woman. She was able to take a leap backwards from her failed jump, but unknowingly ended up in some sort of preemptively placed trap. There were several dark tendrils that tried to come for her and bind her, while some more that were barbed at their tips, tried to slash and whip at her.
Hime was caught off guard by this and bound, but wasn't in the position of where she wasn't easily able to get out of the trap. She absorbed two swords and granted herself Sword of the Angel. This gave her the spell known as, Shell, and granted her resistance to all forms of attacks. Along with her Sword of the Demon, Himeiji was actually able to shake off the whipping barbs like they were nothing, only getting minor cuts on her face (considering that her body armor beneath is also adding to the protection), and outmatched the strength of the wrapped tendrils, effectively cutting all of them away, with a flurry of precise strikes.
Jey, however, wasn't done and just kept going on with his steamroll of attacks. He fired several bolts of dark energy toward Hime, which she was able to counter by absorbing her final sword and empowering her sword greatly. With a mighty swing of her sword, she unleashed a large Sword of Decimation wave that powered through the dark bolts of energy and destroyed them. The wave was then aimed towards Jey.
Himeiji's follow-up to that, consisted of her seemingly vanishing into a blur. She'd then come in front of her own sword wave and closed the distance between her and Jey with her nearly depleted heightened speed. She'd make it count nonetheless by trying to get in real close and using the full length of her blade to unleash several slashes at once, in a seemingly reckless frontal assault towards the man.

Despite being a little more difficult than JeY anticipated, he managed to draw first blood - good enough, for now. He learned what he wanted to know a little while ago but decided to have a little more fun for the sake of things, even if it was at JessY's expense. It seemed the guise of a date was merely a ploy for his own selfish motives; but since the fight was far from over, who could really tell at this point? The poor girl, though. She wasn't too happy at all, especially after seeing her blind date literally get whipped, but she hardly expected what happened next.
The wave that Himeiji released went straight for JeY, who stood completely idle. Did he think that he could be able to deflect it, or? JessY was concerned since he usually wasn't the type to let himself get hit, and the attack wasn't so unfair that he didn't have time to react. But, he just stood still in anticipation. The girl silently cheered for it to tear him a new one for whatever unrealistic scenario, but she would be utterly disappointed in the end despite the incoming excitement.
Himeji phased in and attempted to batter him with her swords, only that the blades passed through him as if he were made of air. By the time she vanished and let her original dark wave overcome his midsection as well, the same effect happened. JeY stood unscathed, but continued to not take any action. By phasing out of time-space, his appearance was still very real but his actual existence was shifted to an alternate plane. He didn't necessarily have the advantage in this state, since if he tried to attack the girl it would have the exact same effect. The battle was neutralized while he remained in a state that allowed him to not be attacked, but at the same time, not allow any attacking. It served his purpose well enough however.
"I concede. You can take it as a victory, but the reality is that we've only had a taste of each other's appetizers derived from what could've been a full-course meal. You've told me so much, more than I originally asked for, as well. Enjoy your date, as we agreed." And then he just... vanished. There would be no indication of where he went, nor was his presence immediately available to detect: but that wasn't an accurate indicator, his presence vanished the moment he became intangible. What mystery remained from this encounter is, what exactly was JeY looking for at this point? That would strictly between him and the assassin girl for now, unless she wished to divulge that info to an eager JessY who rushed up to the girl once JeY was gone.
"Hi again! Do you want to, uh... tell me what that was about? I mean, well, you don't have to or anything, but I'd like to know? If that's not... well. Augh." The girl could barely stammer out any of her words. She was so confused by this mess, she couldn't understand what was going on in the slightest. She was happy to be in the scenario of having a date, sure, but all the context surrounding it... was it really worth it at this point? This chick was bad ass no doubt, she could probably do a number on JessY if she was able to hold out on JeY for that long, but... Why was any of this happening? It was way too much!

When Himeiji had noticed that none of her bladed attacks were making any sort of physical contact, and Jey wasn't striking back himself. Hime noted that this may have either been some sort of trap, or the man had everything he needed to know. Himeiji planted her feet at the realization, pivoted on her right foot to turn and face her wave, then stopped it with a single hand. The energy didn't clash seeing as it derived from her and she merely absorbed it back into her.
Himeiji listened as Jey said he conceded defeat. However, he confirmed her suspicions when he said he had learned everything he had wanted to. That's pretty much how most fighters gained knowledge over one another. Jey must have gotten a great deal of information from her calm and collected way of fighting. She bowed to the man in respect for his skill and perseverance.
"Catch you around, I suppose." That's when the man had vanished. Jessy then ran over to come and talk to Himeiji and she figured if the date was going to go smoothly, she'd have to tell Jessy how this all started to begin with. Hime smiled softly at the young girl and noticed that she was conflicted with the whole thing, but she'd shed some light on this in no time.
"Jey wanted some information from me that I did not want to divulge so easily. He offered you as a date and I said sure, since I have the ability to love personality over gender. I thought this was all a ploy, but he actually did bring you. I was just about ready to start talking, but he wanted a fight instead. I knew that it was going to happen sooner or later, so I had myself prepared. That's how this pretty much all started." She explained as clearly as she could. Himeiji paused, though, to take a deep breath after all of that talking. Her smile remained and she made sure to keep eye contact with Jessy.

For some reason, JessY was awfully surprised when the girl divulged everything on the spot, from the meeting, to the information, how JessY was involved (which was still confusing but whatever) and what lead up to the fight. So she expected to fight him? Hmm. That's probably why she managed to do so well. What she wanted to know more than anything was how her being brought up as a set piece was any factor at all, pertaining to why JeY would even think to bring her up? She didn't want to be intrusive, she could easily ask her double later via telepathy, so she would have to be left to wonder. But... this was exciting, wasn't it?
[OOC: With the absence of JeY, here on out, bold simply refers to JessY's speech]
"And he got his information by fighting? I'll never understand that piece of work." The girl crossed her arms and shook her head, indicating a strong approval of his tactics. She'll never understand how he worked or operated, which was concerning, because in a way she was him and would be the best source of figuring that out. However, she's not had to endure the trials he's had, so she could imagine how drastically that could change a human being. They may have the same mother from alternate universes but they were far from actually being the same person.
"Anywho without a morally deranged freak between us, nice to meet you! Again! So, you seem like you can certainly kick some ass, which is super attractive. You could certainly wreck me one on one, which might not be saying much but. Where'd you learn to do that stuff?" she asked. As JessY started talking, she pointed in the direction to head back toward the main square and started walking, indicating that Himeiji should follow her. She wasn't sure where they were going or what they were doing, but she figured the other girl would either take the lead if she had something in mind once they got to the bigger area, otherwise they could discuss the options.
JessY was actually a bit nervous, now that she was alone with the girl. Her eyes were so interesting, but combined with that incredible fighting power and potential killing motive, she feared the worst if this experienced happened to not go to the girl's liking and decided to hate her for whatever reason. It was a rather unfortunate curse, but the girl couldn't help but feel that everyone hated her for everything she did. It obviously wasn't true, but she was always anxious that someone would eventually find a reason and squash the whole relationship. However, having something in common to hate would be a great way to start it seemed. It didn't matter who either of them were, they could easily get along right now the the common interest of disliking a certain egotistical, emotionless entity.

"Yes, it's warrior thing. For us, fighting is the perfect way to read the mind-set and body language of the person you're fighting. It's a form of intimacy on the battleground, one I take a deep pleasure in." She said with a chirp in her voice. She understood that Jessy was confused on the whole concept of it, but she could see some form of potential within the young woman. When the young woman pointed in the direction for them to go, Himeiji offered her hand to Jessy for her to take it.
"Pleasure to meet you once more, Jessy. You give me so much praise. I really don't know how to respond other than this smile and modest words." She'd chuckle softly and turned towards the young woman, smiling at her warmly. When asked about where she learned, the smile faded for a moment, but returned in the blink of an eye. "I learned from some person who was even more mentally deranged than Jey." She said, though there was venom behind those very words. The young woman walked a bit closer to Jessy. "What about you? Do you have any abilities or received some sort of special training?"
She asked, looking forward this time and awaiting an answer.

Well, that was certainly odd. Apparently there was a whole culture to combat, something JessY had no clue what it was about it that could really be so informative. Well, besides being stronger, smarter or more well 'equipped' than the other person anyway. She would have to ask about that later, but it seemed like Himeiji was aware of its strange presence and unusual context enough that she was able to accurate convey the concept in a way that minimized confusion; obviously the girl was going to be confused about something she couldn't quite grasp, but it was enough meat to sustain her. For now.
She knew all about mind set and body language though, strictly through observation however. She knew right away that Himeiji was someone she'd be interested in getting to know further, and was certainly attractive enough to consider something long-term. The best part is, they hadn't even known each other for that long! But, that was JessY's power. Not through fighting, but watching. Maybe the two could teach other about things, just maybe. The conversation was hardly worth swelling on however.
Especially when the girl offered the first round of affection. To hold her hand! How obvious! JessY blushed as she gently fold her hand into the girls to create a comfortable bond, something she was quite familiar with but had forgotten about its practice entirely due to being away from the dating scene for so long. Oh man, this girl just got better and better! Being a proprietor of affection herself, she was absolutely in love with this motion and made a mental note to be the instigator of affection herself later, only while appropriate though. It depended heavily on how open Himeiji was, something JessY could never judge properly from her own social predisposition. She might be afraid to test the waters at first, but this one simple gesture would make it so much easier in the future. She would just have to remember this moment.
Sure, it didn't seem like that big of a deal, but to JessY it was, but only internally. Besides her face turning red, she'd continue unhindered. Well, mostly. The fact of someone more deranged than the embodiment of Chaos himself was made apparent as Himeiji's instructor, making JessY absurdly curious. The quick subject change would be a frightful indicator of just how serious she was though. She was curious, but not about to sate her appetite at her expense. It wasn't her style. Perhaps if it came back up more naturally. For now, she had her own question to answer.
"I, uh..." She had to think about this for a second, despite it being painfully obvious. To Himeiji, it would appear as though she looked at her toes for a moment, but it granted her the answer. "I don't really have any powers, and the training I have is all self-taught swordsmanship, so super kudos to you for being a fellow swordswoman, but..." She was too caught up in her makeshift compliment that she derailed her train of thought for another moment. "Oh, and I just have this neat little weapon. It becomes whatever I want, able to change and be molded on the spot, and the only limitations I have is the maximum capacity of energy I can produce and my imagination! But as you could imagine from my last comment, I mainly use swords. Odachi blades, specifically." Despite probably over explaining a little, she probably got her point across. "Actually..." she added.
She kept walking, but lifted her free hand and formed a small stem of her signature Ability Energy, which grey a couple leaves and blossomed into a great carnation-shaped flower at the end with impeccable detail. It was glowing primarily of a yellow light energy, with hues of darker greens and reds strewn throughout like a skewed incomplete rainbow, albeit semi-transparent. Starting from the bottom of the stem however, it began to glow more, and slowly moving up the make-shift artificial flower was a more solid existent light energy. The flower went from being half-ghostly to completely formed. This was solidification, allowing the energy to leave JessY's contact. She brought her arm in front of her and pointed it toward the other girl for her to possibly take. "Like that!"
They weren't too far from the square actually, and by the time the nervous, endearing girl finished stammering her sentences (though she wasn't TOO bad, really) they would be entering the main plaza. To their right was a gate leading downtown and to the left was a few shops, a staircase leading up to the other buildings, and the back neck of the neighborhood. "So uh, what are you in the mood for? Food? Entertainment? Picking on chipmunks?" It was a rather legit question, even the last bit, referring to Chip and Dale if they were around.

Himeiji's hand would have felt soft and warm within Jessy's. Her ability to decay things that she touched didn't go through simply because she had excellent control over it, and wouldn't dare hurt someone as sweet and adorable as Jessy. The young girl blushing when being offered to hold hands, made Hime's pale face light up with a streak of pink, though she kept herself more composed, and merely laughed at how Jessy was so cute.
Hime listened intently, as Jessy explained that what she learned was self-taught and that she lacked any powers overall. Himeiji watched her display as Jessy looked down and wondered if she had asked a question that was putting her on the spot a bit much. The girl answered nonetheless and just through holding her hand alone, she felt a true power being hidden away within her. Hime's black eyes glistened gently in the light as she viewed the aura of Jessy and smiled when she learned of the weapon that allowed Jessy to use her imagination to craft any sort of weapon.
"Oh my, that weapon sounds powerful. I can only imagine a girl of your youth and energy must have tons of imagination to put into your weapon. You'll have to show me a thing or two of what you can do in combat and maybe I'll teach you a thing or two from what I've learned." Himeiji offered and winking at Jessy. After that, it seemed Jessy had something else that she wanted to show Hime.
Himeiji's eyes widened as she saw how Jessy created a carnation out of some leaves. The carnation wasn't any just normal carnation, it was one with multiple colors which resembled a rainbow. The flower was transparent at first, but closer observation showed that Jessy was forming it to be completely solid. Hime smiled wide as she watched this display and as a person who loved nature, this was just simply spectacular to look at. When Jessy offered it to her, Himeiji blushed slightly and reached out with her free hand to take it.
"Can I really have it?" She asked a bit shyly, taking the flower and looking at it closely. "It's so beautiful. I love it! That's a really great power you have there, Jessy... Wish I could have something more like that." She said with a small chuckle.
They were nearing the town square and though it didn't seem far away, the time spent with Jessy was already proving to be something she was glad took an offer on. Jessy asked Hime if she were feeling hungry, in the mood for entertainment, or to go pick on some chipmunks. Despite how weird the last option sounded, they all seemed like great ideas for the date. A growl escaped from Himeiji's stomach and she looked at the young girl with an embarrassed smile.
"Something to eat does sound quite good. But, ah, hm..." Himeiji looked at Jessy with what appeared to be another look of embarrassment. "I know I was the one who wanted a date with you and everything, but I don't have any sort of currency to buy us something. I must apologize for being so ill-prepared for this, Jessy. I'm sorry." She said softly, putting the carnation in her hair, and using her recently freed hand to search around in her kimono sleeves and armor pockets for anything.

Even though JessY felt so nice getting to hear such praise for once, she couldn't help but feel that it seemed quite exaggerated. She was sure meant it, but perhaps she was imagining it to be far more than what it was worth. Sure, it was creative and handy and could be anything, but it was only an augment of herself. She didn't inherently have any powers and without her pendant she would be pretty helpless. Well, that's not true, she could adjust with any normal weapon but being completely unarmed is a severe disadvantage. Hopefully it would never come down to that though.
"That would be fun! I'm always down for tips; though I highly doubt you'd learn much from me." Perhaps the reply could've been more upbeat or optimistic, though the girl often had a very realistic lens when evaluating her outlook. She wasn't trying to be a downer, but someone of her caliber really couldn't learn much from self-taught swordsmanship, and beyond that, anything she could she her would be useless since JessY was pretty sure her weapon was rather unique. However, that made her wonder just what Himeiji's capabilities actually were...
Perhaps, as well, JessY should've mentioned exactly how temporary her creations were meant to be - only to fit the situation. She almost opened her mouth to say not to get attached, but maybe it wasn't as big of as a deal. She would just let her have it for now, but at least a fair warning would be in order to prevent disappointment (if it wasn't already too late). After a couple breaths of nervous laughter, she managed to say "You can, yeah, but due to the temporary nature of my creations, it'll only last as long as I'm around. Sorry." Hopefully Himeiji understood.
Getting to the square sooner than anticipated, seemed the girl had no problem deciding on food. Well, that made life easier, she disliked being left in decision limbo when the other party didn't have a clear vision of what they desired while leaving JessY to feel pressured to make a decision which would possibly be one the other girl didn't want her to make and make the whole thing awkward and... well, no dwelling necessary, eating they were! As for the money, that wasn't really an issue either. "Heh, I got you covered. I'm pretty loaded actually, which is weird, in many other aspects of my life where there's been currency, I'm typically pretty poor. I mean, past is the past, no big deal. For you my dear," she started going on a little long, but she needed to make up for that really lame line about her funds and quick. "Money's no object tonight." She pretended to bow slightly, raising her free arm to the side slightly for exaggeration. Maybe it was cheesy, but it would be a great distraction.
"So, if it's food, I got the place. Le'go." They turned around actually, only slightly, to a place with dining tables and chairs scattered outside and walked to the door, breaking contact and holding it open for Himeiji, then following her in and moving to the front counter. The girl at the counter greeted them kindly and asked how they were, and what she could get for them. There was a menu propped up in the back, listing all the possibilities. "Hello! We'll just be a minute to decide," she said to the cashier. "Everything they have is up there, just ask the girl if you have any questions. I've only been here once myself but it was pretty good so. Take your time." The last bit was just thrown in there, but JessY felt it was necessary. Not the type to sway from what works, she was just going to get what she had last time.
[OOC: I'm the worst when it comes to food scenarios =P so we can go two routes: we can finish out this scene with eating/dialogue (which I'm totally fine with) or you can make a post to acknowledge this part and then fast forward us to the next leg of the journey (or whatever). Up to you!]

Himeiji giggled a little at Jessy's self-doubt. To Hime, it seemed more and more clearer that Jessy wasn't all that confident in her own abilities. The young woman shook her head and smiled.
"Jessy, there is more for us to learn from each other than just fighting and training. Through our little sessions, I can be able to see how you think under pressure, how your emotions rise and fall depending on the situation, and so on. You never know, something more intimate may form between us the more we learn." She said as she gave Jessy's hand a light squeeze.
She smiled some more and listened how Jessy explained that the flower in her hair will only last for as long as they were together. Something like that sounded so romantic, that it caused Himeiji to blush a small bit. She turned to her and walked closer to her.
"Then I suppose we ought to make the best of this flower and each other's company while we can, right?" She asked. Jessy went on to explain that she was typically a poor person. Himeiji could relate about being poor, seeing as she never left her room back with the company she was forced to work for. Since then, she sort of lost the idea of materialistic value and money in that aspect. But those thoughts were quickly pushed away the more Jessy continued to flatter and act exceptionally adorable on this little date of theirs.
"Why thank you, my love. I'll be sure to make it up to you in due time." She laughed and used her free hand to fan herself, as Jessy bowed in her adorable and exaggerated way. They continued from the square to where the restaurant Jessy had mentioned was. She had never been to one before, but one of her partners frequented the places whenever they were on missions. He always mentioned burgers and fries, with either a soft-drink, or a shake. Himeiji greeted the cashier as well and looked at the menu in the back.
"O-Okay. There's so much food, I don't know where to begin! My partner always told me to try a burger, fries, and a drink of some kind. I don't know where to begin..." She'd go up to the cashier and shyly pointed out to the menu. "May I have that one right there?" She asked and pointed to the regular hamburger. "And... I want some fries. As for a drink..." She'd turn to Jessy and smiled. "What will you be drinking, dear?"
((OOC: I'd want us to chat and have them eat, if you wouldn't mind. They'd seem like they'd have a lot to talk about, so I'd like to develop their relationship some more.))

This conversation was getting intense pretty quick, with Himeiji already making what JessY thought were rather interesting insinuations. She wouldn't assume anything, that would be a fatal mistake, she would much rather be pleasantly surprised than disappointed but the thought of whatever that strange girl had in store made the heartthrob a little excited at least. She could barely respond with much more than a nervous giggle when she felt a slight increase in pressure on her hand for just a brief moment, acknowledging what was said but letting the lifetime of that subject flutter along for bigger and better things.
Such as what they wanted to eat. She was a bit flustered with Himeiji's replies regarding the flower and the lack of funds, so focusing would be a bit of a problem although she wasn't hopeless. A hamburger sounded pretty good, but unfortunately the girl at the counter didn't have eyes in the back of her head. JessY would have to interject, especially in the case of the foreigner who didn't seem to have a grasp on these foods (at least from the immediate signs she could tell). "She means a hamburger, and I'll get a bacon cheeseburger with mayo, ketchup and pickles with fries as well. I'll have some chocolate milk with that." There was some furious button pressing but the lady at the counter seemed to manage.
"Of course, you don't have to get what I'm drinking obviously." It was a simple gesture. Once Himeiji placed an order for a drink, they were told that it would be right out. On that note, JessY would take her date to a nearby booth and sit down, awaiting Himeiji to do the same. And, this probably wouldn't be the best way to start their next conversation, but it was something she was practically dying to know. "Forgive me if this is something you'd prefer not to talk about, but what is the story behind your eyes? They're so mystifying and beautiful; I've never seen anything like them! If there's one part of other human bodies I love, it's eyes, trust me. And of course, completely optional to say, no pressure." Maybe that was a bit too much or intimidating or littered with too many apologetics in terms of easing the girl down, but she wanted to tread carefully and wanted to make sure that she never felt obligated. That would honestly be the worst; just because JessY is like an open book didn't mean that everyone else was, that fact alone was something she tried to treat with the utmost respect.

Himeiji smiled once Jessy helped her out with the ordering, but didn't know exactly what there was to drink in total. Instead, she just opted to get a random soda. Hime nodded to the cashier once she read back and confirmed their order. Once that was all said and done, Hime was motioned by Jessy to come sit at a booth nearby. The young woman would sit down across from Jessy, sat up in her seat, and folded her hands in her lap. She smiled towards Jessy and her eyes glistened brightly in the restaurant's lights.
Jessy then asked about Himeiji's eyes without missing a beat in the flow of the date. The young woman also stated that it wasn't something she had to answer, but she decided to do so anyways, only because she really liked Jessy.
"Hm, these old things? My eyes are the result of genetic experimentation." Himeiji leaned over to give Jessy a better view, as she opened her eye wider, to show the young woman that they were all black all around. "I'm glad you enjoy them. Most people I've met have either left me alone, or give me those awkward looks whenever they see them." Himeiji explained, though there was no sadness to her voice. She merely smiled and sat back in her seat.

It was super delightful to hear that Himeiji seemed to have no problem explaining the origin of her eyes to JessY, to which she listened intently. When the girl leaned forward and tried to give a very good look at her eyes, the blonde girl didn't hesitate in also getting closer to observe. They were something special, something that couldn't really be replicated by ordinary means. Exotic eyes were a very big turn-on for JessY, even if completely black may be slightly creepy, she loved them immensely. She thought her own eyes were rather special, an interesting mix of green and blue, but Himeiji's eyes were top-tier in comparison.
What she wasn't so happy to hear is why however. Genetic experimentation? That sounded... pretty awful. If that why she had all of those super-human traits, or was she experimented on because of her special abilities? That question dove a little too deep for the first date in JessY's opinion, so she'd keep things surface level. "Yikes. I'm not sure of your own personal context, but where I am from, 'genetic experimentation' is not usually a good thing." It was a two-fold statement. She kept things simple, without asking any direct questions, Himeiji was free to respond with as much or as little information as she saw fit, nor was there any expectation of what she was supposed to say in response.
And of course, she couldn't let the statement about judgments pass freely either. "As for people giving you looks, I believe it. It's human nature to fear the unknown and I'll be the first to tell you that people honestly suck for passing judgment without ever investigating things first. I'd imagine that it could be super fun to troll people with your eyes though; you could say all sorts of bizarre things and people wouldn't have any clue." A bit of a light-hearted ending to a statement that may have initially felt heated. She wasn't a fan of the human race despite being a part of it, but she didn't want this to turn into a debate about human nature. Though if Himeiji had no clue what 'troll' meant in this context, the conversation could get even more interesting through a different and unexpected turn.

Himeiji smiled as she looked into the eyes of her date, taking in their intricate color mixture. A deep longing for the changing of her own eyes to something similar, or at least something of different color other than the void filled black eye, that she used to see with. This thought wouldn't show on her face, however, for she was good at hiding such wants, throwing them away by deeming them as unnecessary complaints and shutting them away. She smiled and seemed to turn pink. She had never actually let those thoughts creep up, let alone through staring into the eyes of someone who she had just met. There was much more to Jessy that continued to intrigue Himeiji, as their date went on.
Didn't take long for Jessy to pick up on the whole genetic experiment part, but Himeiji felt that she wasn't being particularly sneaky about it at the same time. Jessy's statement was interesting in the way of how it'd get Himeiji to at least reveal some sort of aspect that belonged to her experimentation. A smirk crept on her lips and she nodded to herself, congratulating the girl in her mind, as she wondered how to respond to that.
"Then we share the same context when that word is brought up. Yes, it wasn't a good thing. I wouldn't want to ruin the mood with such a darkening story, so you'll have to take a rain check on it." Himeiji said and smiled softly. She closed her eyes and let her mind wonder momentarily into her dark past. She revisited old memories and felt all that needed to be felt from them. Though they were all filled with immense sadness, the serenity she did manage to find in-between them became even greater. Jessy's questionable words, however, shook the maiden from her thinking. A word had surfaced she had heard once more.
"Troll? As in a bridge troll or...?" She thought and thought, when Black Heart finally arose from her slumber and jolted a bit of her memory.
Heart: "No, no. Remember what Clyde taught you? A 'troll,' is some form of person that uses misleading traits or information, to essentially cause menial harm to the person. This is usually done through the internet, but can be assimilated into reality, to what humans would call a 'prank.'" Black Heart explained and in that instance, Himeiji remembered. She snapped her fingers and smiled triumphantly as she managed to get the proper meaning of the word.
"Ah, yes! I can only imagine how people could react to someone like me randomly trying to tell them their future. Guess there's another use for these accursed orbs after all." She said lightly and laughed wholeheartedly. She was genuinely enjoying herself in Jessy's company. It was a nice transition and change of pace into this new, unknown world.

It wasn't very satisfying to know that JessY was indeed right about the bigger picture behind the other girl's 'genetic experiments' being not the most pleasant of experiences, but was happy to hear that it could be hand-waved away as easily as the mention of a rain-check. On top of all the other qualities she seemed to exhibit, JessY was starting to really like her ability to keep the atmosphere positive. More so than the blonde girl herself. "No problem then." she would mention, indicating being fine with being told the story another day. It seemed they both knew the details would be spilled eventually. JessY herself wasn't void of secrets either, after all.
Speaking of which, she wondered how soon she could drop the the whole 'I used to be a guy' bit. She was scared for her life that it would end things almost instantly, or at least be the cause for the start of a steady decline of interest. She honestly hoped that the detail wouldn't have too big of an impact on things, but she was too deeply engrossed in the experience she was having to even exhibit details that had the slightest possibility of derailing absolutely everything. She'd keep it a secret for now, even if it probably didn't even matter much.
As for what happened next, JessY never would've expected this type of reaction. She often forgets about the disconnect between her old reality and her new one, that it's an entirely different human race she's dealing with right now. She assumed that, right after she heard Himeiji question her use of the word 'troll' that 'oh yeah, that's not a thing here'. She was prepared to fully explain it after silently cursing herself for being sloppy in her lexicon but as she opened her mouth the most amazing thing happened. Himeiji remembered what it meant. Like, whoa, what? It was one of those things where someone either didn't know at all or would recognize it immediately. She's never seen an inbetween like this.
It raised a lot of questions in the girl. Too many. It made her slightly concerned even; just how many people from the real Earth were here? Is it even possible that she was literally the only human who had been virtualized? No, not at all. Not after what she's been through, but besides her counter part and meddling in an alternate universe, she hasn't met anyone. Or rather, anyone she could tell. Bleu was a possibility but she already disproved that. Maybe there were alternate Earths too? This was too much. She internally shook her head and drove her focus back to the conversation at hand, but this internal event would definitely weigh pretty heavily for a while.
"Heh, yeah. That's a good one, actually, the example I had in mind was just lame." There was just so much she wanted to ask after all of that, but she couldn't. She would just have to be exceptionally patient and maybe direct the conversation to get her to drop some hints. Or, just be completely blunt from another angle. "I'm amazed you knew what I meant, even if it took a second; everyone looks at me like I have three heads when I use idioms from my universe." That may have been a poor choice of words, but she seemed to be already mellow with the concept of her and JeY being alternate selves of each other, so she could be a little more flexible in her phrasing. Hopefully, anyway. "I only use them because it's kinda habit, I just forget to substitute it properly," she would finish her currently block of the conversation with, leaning back.

Himeiji shifted a bit in her seat and went to untie the sash that kept Winter's Edge at her side. She'd set the seven foot katana horizontally behind her and stretched her arms out. Himeiji listened to Jessy and tilted her head when the young blonde had shot down her own idea. The assassin felt that both of their ideas were similar, considering they both required talking with people and actually saying weird stuff in order to pull the prank off. After that small moment, Himeiji wondered if Jessy suffered from a lack of overall self-esteem.
Hime resolve to pick her moment to bring it up, seeing as Jessy dropped an interesting tid-bit that caused the conversation to become even more intriguing. Jessy expressed ownership when referring to another universe that she came from. That meant that Himeiji herself had traversed into a completely different time and space from touching the weird light. She cupped her hands together and leaned in a bit, showing her genuine interest.
"Jessy, may I know what universe and possibly planet you come from? You mentioned your own universe and considering I come from a different point in time and space, I'd like to see if our information could possibly match-up with each other." She explained and got into a better position in the booth seat. A wider smile was brought to her lips and she found her curiosity setting in extremely quick.

Despite expecting the girl to ask what her idea for the prank could have been, Himeiji dived into another topic altogether. Better still, she found this area of conversation far more engaging anyway. There weren't many people who she could have this type of conversation with; there was always JeY but what he had to say was rather stale and talking to him was about as interesting and watching paint dry, but many people in this crazy connected series of worlds had no clue what the concept of parallel universes were. It was awfully surprising. What amazed her really is that this was simply a theory and a myth where she was from yet understood the concepts quite in-depth despite them not being real (at the time). Now, in a place where all of the cards are on the table, she was the most educated on the subject she knew.
So, before eagerly diving into this new topic branch, a wide smile crept upon JessY's face. "Before I begin, mega props for already having a concept of parallel universes, you would not believe how many people are ignorant to the ideology. Bonus points for you. On topic," she said, figuring she shouldn't dwell too long on the shameless ass-kissing (well, it was a legit compliment, but to her she felt like she went overboard). "The universe I'm from didn't really have a name, but was referred to as 'the real world' since there was no proof of other universes; just fictional ones that people made up in stories. You know how cocky scholars can get. But, the only planet that could sustain life that we knew about in our universe was called Earth." It was a long-winded bit, though JessY wasn't quite done yet, so took a short breath and continued.
"I'm also aware of there being parallel universes that also had a planet Earth which was a central hub to humans, the only way to tell them apart is to discuss current events." There, now she was done, and she gave Himeiji a moment to finish processing everything she said. It seemed to be a lot to cover in a short amount of time. Though, there was something she felt she should add. "I find it unlikely that you're from my universe though, what you can do defies the physics there and is therefore impossible. It's funny how natural laws can vary between branches of existence." Oops, too much. Well, now JessY definitely shut up and would let her date reply. She was quite excited to hear her response, a conversation of this caliber was hard to come by, and it was always more interesting when someone as analytic as JessY couldn't even begin to predict what someone else might say (to which she usually can).

"Why thank you. I was raised on those sort of scientific theories and inquiries, so I'm naturally curious on both natural and unnatural happenings of the many universes." Himeiji bowed her head as thanks for Jessy complimenting her knowledge on such a bold topic. Jessy went on with her explanation of the universe she came from known as, "The Real World." That was an odd title for a universe where she came from, yet the different laws and physics of that same universe could be what merited that name. However, she continued with her explanation of the planet, Earth. Earth was a planet Himeiji had never been on and had only read about the central hub for humans in books, or from what was said by her parents.
The blonde girl wasn't done with her explanation and only used the short breath to keep herself from being winded. Hime stayed attentive, her smile getting bigger by the minute. Each piece of information she passed on was essentially a parallel difference, to what she had already known. This means that Jessy had clashing evidence of what happened upon the same planet, where virtually all humans had came from. She further confirmed this, by saying that it was highly unlikely for Himeiji to be from the same universe or planet altogether, and she was right. When the blonde finished her statement, Himeiji leaned forward and folded her hands underneath her chin.
"It's unlikely, because you are absolutely correct. We are not from the same universe, but we are of the same 'species.' I come from a universe where space travel is as frequent as people using cars on the hub-world of Earth. What I can do, isn't necessarily the defying of physics, because later on down the line, your race can and will eventually discover ways to enhance the human body, through gene-therapy. You can say that I come from a probable future, that your universe could possibly create, through the right manipulation of events." And that theory was possibly correct on its own. Himeiji's eyes seemed to have glistened brighter, as her smile reached the farthest it could go. Though her key science was nature, her parents work warranted much more than the knowledge of gene-manipulation, and the study of genetics. Through them, she was able to gain a better understanding of the varying planets and stars that lined her homeworld each and every day. Now that she has met Jessy, much more knowledge of different timelines and universes could be attained.

How fascinating. The girl across from JessY was both cultured and scientifically curious, both huge pluses. What wasn't to love? She may have not been in the middle of anything crucial when she was pulled into Traverse Town all of a sudden by an entity she's began despising as of late, but with how perfect this match-up seemed to be going... maybe he wasn't the worst thing in the world? After all, to a major degree he was her so it could by very easily determined what would work out and what wouldn't in terms of dates, but to give her this great of an opportunity? She would have to... thank him somehow. It wasn't a great thought toward something she really wanted to do, but it came up.
On topic, it was quite possible that Himeiji was blowing the girl's mind even further with discussing the fact that they were indeed from parallel universes, an Earth with a more futuristic time line. She wouldn't jump the gun and say that she was from the same place just at a different time, it's still very possible that JessY's future Earth would be completely different from Hiemiji's point in time, but the concept still inspired her to come up with so many questions. However, first thing's first.
Oh wow! So it could be said we have similar though parallel displaced backgrounds. Do you happen to have a calendar year or some sort of point of time to refer to that you were in before you came here? I realize this is kind of pointless but I'm too curious to pass that question up." If they were indeed from similar but parallel universes, a calendar date wouldn't say much at all but it would still be satisfying to know. For all JessY was concerned, it was very possible that the nineteen fifties were super advanced in Himieji's time meanwhile in the two thousands JessY's time line still had cars with wheels.

Heart: "You must be really into this girl, huh? You haven't had a conversation like this with many people before. You're growing up so fast!" Heart secretly teased Himeiji and her other half's sudden tease caught Himeiji off-guard and caused her to blush. On Jessy's side, she'd be able to see the calm and collected face of Hime flush red and a nervous smile cross her lips. Himeiji tried her best to keep calm and listened to Jessy's excitement as their talk of space and parallel dimensions continued. She was asked if there was a calender year where she was from. This question allowed Himeiji to focus more on the topic at hand, rather than the teased feeling she was getting.
"The last time I can remember, it was the year 2893. That's when I was about 10 years of age, give or take. To be more exact, it'd have to be 2903. My memory isn't really the same, given certain consequences, but I'm sure that it has to be 2903. How about you? What calender year do you share?" She asked in legitimate curiosity. There was something about this topic that was quite... Odd. There is the very sneaking possibility, that if Jessy were to some how freeze herself in time, and wait it out until Himeiji's year, that she'd be able to meet with a parallel version of Himeiji. The sheer thought of that made Hime's curiosity sky rocket and she was really interested in hearing about Jessy's calender year at that point.
The more the two spoke on the subject, Himeiji felt her heart lighten a bit. She was typically a hard-ass due to the body she and Black Heart shared, however, with the on going topics, Jessy's presence, and the calming atmosphere of the restaurant, Himeiji felt extremely happy. Though she remained in her collected her state, it betrayed the true feelings she wanted to show in front of this girl. In truth, Himeiji really liked this girl and wanted to go further with her, in terms of furthering their relationship that is. She wondered if Jessy had felt the same. All the while she was thinking this, Hime's body was acting of it's own accord and her eyes switched between looking at Jessy's lips and her beautiful green eyes.

With her attention to detail, JessY would catch a bit of glow in Himeiji's cheeks but wouldn't really attribute it to anything, other than her possibly drawing certain conclusions in her head or working out plausible theories. This silent unintentional gesture showed the girl that Himeiji was putting thought into this, suggesting she was actively engaged rather than filling in an idle moment. It gave JessY hope for this to work out. However, her own facial expression would change drastically once she heard the year the other girl was from.
"Twenty nine oh-three!? Holy..." her eyes widened and her jaw dropped. Well, this was certainly interesting. The two are centuries apart. "I uh... Well, let's just say that... probably close to a nine hundred year difference..." She was hesitant to come out with a direct calendar year, not that it would give much more information than the difference she pointed out already. With an awkward pause, she would give in though. "Pretty sure it was around two thousand and ten before I was sucked into this universe..." her voice trailed again, thinking back to her memories of being back on Earth. At least, what she could remember at this point. She hasn't been around for a significantly long time, but long enough to which she's grown accustomed to what it's like to exist in this realm.
In regards to the year difference, it wouldn't affect the girl's opponent of her date too much, but she was incredibly insecure about it for some reason about how Himeiji might look down on her. It was a very unreasonable insecurity, but with having such incredible social anxiety these situations always caused her to think irrationally about every which way someone could end up hating or disliking her and taking it to the extreme. With the way things were going, she desperately hoped Himeiji would be different, but it depended.
Not being given too much time to dwell in her nightmares, suddenly the girl from the counter brought over two plates of food and a tray of drinks, and dinner was served! Perfect timing. The burger in front of her reminded her of how hungry she was and was immediately distracted. "Omigosh, this looks amazing!" she said before throwing a napkin in her lap, picking up the perfectly-crafted amalgamation of beef, bread and other ingredients in front of her and giving it a nice big chomp. She was very pleased with how it tasted, as indicated by her low hum of approval through her chewing.
