An eerie dawn, noiseless and unusually tedious, ascended hastily upon clouds slowly drifting aside as crevices and fractures crept fissures of light. Within the casm on a castle's outskirts, outwardly spun a sphere appearing supposedly from nothingness before erupting into an oval vortex. Swirling into the vortex lay streams of violet accompanied by a simple black tint. In laymen's terms, it was a dark portal of slightly larger size than usually encountering.
The air being engulfed created a siphoning echo in the casm, and eventually ceasing the noiseless atmosphere before early birds. Seconds after the portal lingered, an immense Heartless lunged from its confines and interrupted streams followed its form before being eradicated with lack of a potential source to continue the portal's loop. It rose dramatically, posing as if heroically with biceps curled to form an arch aimed toward its head and posture exaggerated. A rather exhausted growl, drawn out and given without suppress, was emitted as it hunched over lazily. In its left hand held a coffee table of impressive craftsmanship.
"Come," ordered It, "we have games to play!" It spoke with irritation, despite its disturbing facial expression of optimism. An adorable, small heartless crawled through the portal with lousy examination of its surroundings. Luciforn witness the portal becoming faint and vague in its remaining capability to maintain its foundation. The 'imp' was brought off its feet by Luciforn's right hand and positioned to his other end.
"Frightened? Well," emphasizing in a drawn out and thorough manner, "thank goodness you have me and this chess board." He gestured to the coffee table before positioning it onto its leggings, equipped with a chessboard crafted in marble. Even the pieces were created in similar material, though the coating probably was too excessive for it shined brightly against the fresh sunlight. With a stroke of Luciforn's left hand in front of the coffee's surrounding area, two miniature portals erupted abruptly and departed as quickly. It left two chairs on each end, one larger than the other. He seated himself in the larger chair after assisting the wandering imp into its own. It stared with its flexen and small eyes at the chessboard, idly sitting as it little legs dangled. Luciforn grunted, beginning to set up the first match. There were two different set of pieces, white and brown.
Luciforn and his chess opponent were idly seated for nearly an hour, himself deliberate in excessively demonstrating exaggerative gestures: the three fingers of each hand tapping against his knees, head bobbing from side to side, and broad shoulders eventually shifting to an either favored end or balanced foundation. Scrunched over, Luciforn eventually diverted attention from the chess board to his companion. The chess board was as if a new game has started, though a pawn was a step ahead.
"It's been your move for... I would say about thirty six minutes? Never really understood the value of time." The Heartless seated across from Luciforn was as it was before, sitting dumbfounded with dangling little legs. Footsteps were heard, though due to their combined light steps, it seemed as if one person. Eventually, several Heartless clad in armor approached the chess board. Each high pitched click of their pointed feet straightened Luciforn's posture until he reached a noble's standards. "Quiet!" He aggresively roared. Those circling the two immediately ceased their movement and sat on their posteriors. There were nearly ten Heartless gathering about near the coffee table, including Luciforn and his companion.
With the adorable Heartless apparently dazzled by is occurring, Luciforn extended his left hand outward and pinched the tip of its pawn and moved it forward one space.
"Now that your turn was finally executed, it is now my turn."
