Through the Gummi Space thrusted Little Sky, the Gummi Ship which Skyler had helped her dad put together and lasted for seven years. She had been traveling for days through nothing but Gummi Space. Wait, that was a mistake, it wasn't just space, but only the many Heartless ship trying to eradicate her. She felt quite a bit more than a twinge of regret, as she hadn't installed more lasers. She wasn't at all prepared for the many strikes upon Little Sky made by these vile fiends. She managed to defend herself through space, but not unscathed. Her right wing was cracked, her lasers shooters were fried, and her radar was scrambled. She had absolutely no idea what direction she was headed. She just floated along until she found a world to land in.
Her eyelids grew heavy due to the fatigue and stress of being lost, depressed, and frustrated. She knew she couldn't fight the sandman, so, before she gave in, she set auto-pilot on Little Sky.
Skyler was in Twilight Town, and she was roughly twelve. It was a particularly windy day, she was working hard delivering paper. She loved her job, as she was wonderful at striking the inner side of each mailbox with a projectile of newspaper. She did so with amazing accuracy. She had always been great at aiming and precision.
She had tossed her last paper, when she saw an approaching black horde. Her smile draped into a frown as she could she what the black mass was. "Damn it! Heartless!" She pedaled her bike toward her house and huffed with every step into the bicycle. She rotated her pedals as quick as her body would allow her. The Heartless were approaching her, knocking through every townsperson, fixture, and building in their way. With much persistence and strain, she had finally made it to her house. She threw her bike to the pavement and bolted toward the door. Upon contact with the door, she had kicked it down with much force. "Mom!" She ran through the house, seeing nothing but empty rooms. Meanwhile, Heartless had caught up to her neighborhood. Shadows flooded through the front door.
She needed to find her mom, as she knew she was to sick to defend herself. She finally united with her mom, upstairs in the attic, after much running and hollering her name. Unfortunately, her mother was already piled on by Shadows. Skyler had no weapon defend her, but she had to try anyway, she picked up a chair and ran toward her shadow-mangled mother. She rared back and gave an immense amount of force to hit the Heartless. They backed off a bit and showed her mother was already too far gone. Tears streamed down Skyler's face, "Mom! No! You're all I have left! Please, don't go!" She started to cry hysterically, "Tell me this is just a dream! Please! No! No!"
"No!" Skyler jerked herself from unconsciousness. In opportune timing as well, seeing that Little Sky was under attack. Her weapons were scarce, as they were destroyed by the last barrage of Heartless ships. She attempted to outrun the ships. In vain, however, as lasers had hit her tail fin and also spread the crack in her left wing. Little Sky was surely out of commission now. She was spiraling through the space with shots ringing into the armor of the ship. Skyler was pretty sure that she was screwed. She thought she was going to to die. After a few minutes if spiraling and assaults, her beliefs were surely confirmed in her head as she got pulled within the gravity of a world. Sure, she was now safe from the Heartless ships, but not from crash-landing into the ground from several hundred feet at 200 miles per hour. Little Sky caught fire as it entered the atmosphere, Skyler had no choice but to eject herself. At the push of a button, she was projected outwards from the ship, but still downwards. The ship burned to a cinder, as Skyler was still falling at 200 miles per hour. She was sure that she was dead now, she had made peace with her apparent pending death. She whispered, "I'm sorry, Landon, I can't save you." She hurled toward the surface. She grew faster and heavier as she approached it. On contact, a splash was made. A painful, hard, head-splitting, blackout-inducing splash. She sank into the water unconscious. Right next to her was a rocky house that looked like it belonged to an old wizard.

David was lounging inside Merlin's old house in Traverse Town, thankful to finally be done with Radiant Garden's repairs. He may not have been there when it was attacked, but his sister and friend had caused at least half the damage, which made him somewhat responsible. He sighed as he stood and stretched. The floor was far from the most comfortable seat, but it sure beat paying for another hotel room.
David was just walking outside when he heard a noise from the sky. He looked up just in time to see someone fall into the cavern, a fireball further up that he could only assume used to be a Gummi Ship. He winced at the sound of the impact, but he was already moving to follow before the water had flattened again. One clean dive later he was quickly gaining on what appeared to be a woman his age, knocked out from the fall.
David managed to grab her just as his feet brushed the bottom of the pond, his jacket and jeans weighing him down. A purple light enveloped him as he pulled the unconscious woman closer, then he pushed up with his legs than now were twice as strong. The force launched the two back onto dry land, though the added weight of the water made the landing less than graceful. He quickly glanced at the woman's aura, only seeing severe fatigue and some head trauma reflected there, and placed his hand on her forehead.
The purple light vanished as David closed his eyes and concentrated on his Chi energy, willing it into the woman. He continued to let the energy flow until it had healed her fully, then sat a few feet away. His clothes were drenched, but so were the woman's, and neither could be fixed without going back to that hotel. He sighed again, then pulled his phone, thankfully waterproof, from his pocket and called the place. "Hey, I'm gonna need that room again for a day..."

Siris was fighting for his life against the darkness. Shadows, Soldiers, all types of lesser heartless swarmed around him, and he flung his blade and shield every which way to keep them at bay. Around him, a storm raged, lightning shooting across the battlefield, illuminating the lone warrior against the tide of darkness, as well as lighting up the orb of darkness looming above his head. Pieces of earth, rubble, and water were being lifted into the air around him, until all that had remained was a small isle, floating against the pull of the orb. At the center of it, Siris was locked into the eternal conflict against the Heartless, fighting for what felt like days against this unending foe...
In actuality, this was all a memory replaying itself in his mind of the destruction of Radiant Garden. The world had been gone for a long time, now Hollow Bastion. Siris was non-existent. The only remnant of him was his heart, which wandered space, looking for salvation. In the meantime, it was fighting against the darkness, trying to take the heart and turn it into another weapon of destruction. But it was resilient, and had been for quite some time. What felt like days to Siris were years as his heart had traveled the endless expanses of the galaxy. And finally, it found it's salvation.
Back in the battle, Siris finally noticed the Heartless swarm beginning to lessen, and his determination increased as the numbers dropped, his blade cutting through them until he was left alone on this small floating isle. A crash of thunder sounded, and he looked up to see the orb of darkness levitating away from him. The clouds began clearing, a single beam of light shooting onto the isle. Siris stood in the light, welcoming it's warmth as his exhausted body feel to it's knees. He closed his eyes, and all had seemed content, for a moment...
His head hit something hard, his body pushed against the ground as if gravity had suddenly appeared. His heart beat quickly, His head felt dizzy, and his muscles were sore, bruises and cuts that he never felt in that battle suddenly flaring across his body. He took a moment, keeping his eyes shut to keep himself from throwing up. His heart slowly began calming down, and when he finally could open his eyes, he began assessing where he was.
It looked like an alleyway, of sorts. A small divet in the side of a brick wall showed a small aqueduct, leading farther down into a barred off sewer. On the opposite side of the wall was a long building, terraces shooting out from them. Some lights were on in this building. He looked to his right, a large double door next to him. He sat up, realizing his back was to a large pile of boxes. He placed a hand on his head, trying to remember what happened. But his body yet again decided to deny him, as he was suddenly punched in the gut by a ravenous hunger, his stomach growling like a lion. He groaned, the strain of standing up aching his body and his stomach.
"Ugh... I need food..." As if by magic, a bowl of fruit laying on one of the terraced rails fell over, grapes, apples, and bananas falling on the ground. Siris tilts his head. "Huh... convenient." He rushed over to the bowl, picking up the fruit that hadn't been crushed. He looked hungrily over the food, but looked back up at the terrace, sighing. "It's... not right to steal. I better take this back. Maybe they could point to someplace with food." He scorned himself for his honor, but knew it would work out in the end. He found a door into the lower area of what turned out to be a hotel. He walked down the large hallway, which was eerily empty. "Hm, must be a weekday." He ascends to the second floor, his sense of direction leading him outside the door of the fruit owner. He knocked, with no response. He shrugged, leaning down to place the fruit by the door, yet as he did, he heard, faintly behind the door, a sound that haunted him from the first time he heard it.
It was the sound of a heart leaving someone's body...
The door crashed outward, breaking from the hinges and pushing Siris back. A Neoshadow heartless rushed outside, taking the thrown off warrior by the throat and pushing him against the wall. Siris had little strength left in him, after unknowingly travelling across worlds. He summoned his longsword from his back-sheath into his hand, weakly cutting the Heartless, and it released his throat. He coughed, unable to call for help with his windpipe being hit like that. He leaned against the wall, summoning his shield. "I didn't... get this far... just to be killed..."
He wouldn't survive alone.

Skyler's bright green eyes ease open and an image of a fairly handsome and muscular blond cradling her through town. She quickly jerked at the situation causing the blond to drop him. Normally, she would be absolutely fine with an attractive man carrying her, but she didn't know what was going on. Was he helping her or was he kidnapping her. She hit the ground and pain surged through her back and head on impact. She, however, ignored the pain and jumped up. She pulled out her shruiken, Ventispinner, and readied to defend her self, "Now, who the hell are you and why were you carrying me?!"

David was quite startled when the woman suddenly jerked out of his arms just after getting into the Second District, but the only thing that showed was a loud sigh. He resisted the reflex that wanted to summon his armor and keyblade, and spread his arms slightly to appear less threatening, though his annoyed expression ruined the effect somewhat. "Honestly, I'd like to know that myself. I was just about to go get something to eat when you fell from the sky. I healed you, and was taking you to the hotel until you woke up. I didn't mean any-"
David cut off suddenly as he sensed a Heartless stronger than the usual lot inside the hotel. Confusion showed on hi face momentarily as he recognized the presence. "What in the name of Kingdom Hearts is a Neoshadow doing here?" He shook his head to refocus, then turned back to the women. "Someone's being attacked in the hotel, and I'm going to help them. Stay back a bit and you should be fine." With that, he darted across the plaza, Shattered Sunset, his crystal keyblade, appearing with a flick of his wrist.
David simply bashed through the door to the hall, quickly taking stock of the situation. A young man was currently fighting the Neoshadow, but one glance showed that he was outmatched. He needed to get the Heartless away from the man, the sooner the better. Thankfully, his keyblade did the job for him. The Neoshadow instantly turned and charged at David...
Only to be met with a simple block from the blade it feared so much. David showed no visible signs of strain as the Neoshadow's claws were turned aside as easily as if they had struck a wall. David barely even paid attention to the creature as he called out to the young man. "You all right?"

The Neoshadow wasted no time as he had summoned his shield to begin striking him again, but Siris' shield had an enchantment to keep the shield intact... as long as the enchantment had been charged. His last battle against the Heartless in Radiant Garden had almost expended the enchantment, and Siris could feel it's last charges dwindle as the Neoshadow launched attack after attack, pushing Siris into a sitting position on the ground. As the Neoshadow brought it's hands up to crush the shield and the young man behind it, it's head turned swiftly, sensing that awful, dreadful feeling of immense power emitting from a nearby keyblade. It was too much to resist. The Heartless had to snuff out that power, turn it into it's own. It ran, though it also looked like it skated, down the hall to where a young man was wielding the keyblade. It raised it's hand, a claw forming as it attacked with killer instinct... but it might as well have struck the wall, for nothing moved as the Keyblade stopped him. It's unknown if the Heartless can experience emotions, but in that instant, the Neoshadow knew it could not win.
Siris turned his head weakly as he heard the voice, dropping his longsword and raising his gloved hand. He looked back into the room, gasping, as a still body laid on the floor. He struggled up to his feet, stumbling into the room with what little strength he had left, falling to his knee's beside the body. It was a young woman, dressed in an elegant dress. Her hair had been done up, though it was now messy. Siris tried to keep his breathing normal, but suddenly, her body began to glow, and then it dispersed into numerous orbs of light, floating away. The heart and the body had been separated. Siris let out a roar, seeing this happen to so many when Radiant Garden was destroyed. He punched the ground with his hands once, before getting up, summoning his weapons.
"You will be the last..." He said, dashing out of the room. Just in time, too. The summoned Keyblade did much more than attract the stronger Heartless' attention, but also sent a beacon out and attracted the lesser heartless nearby. Shadows and Soldiers emerged from darkness, flanking on both ends of the hallway, trapping both Siris, near one end, and the young man at the other end, as well as the girl, had she followed him inside. Siris backed up slowly as the Heartless crept towards him. The Neoshadow had caught him off guard, but he had almost too much experience fighting these Heartless. He may have been beaten down and at the edge of consciousness, but he could hold his own against these footsoldiers. He backed up, until he was nearer to the Keyblade wielder(and the girl, if she was there). They would now be enclosed, in the hallway.

Skyler felt she should run after the blond, as he was helping someone that was being attacked. Perhaps her assistance was needed as well. She darted toward the hotel. As she ran, she readied her shruiken for battle. She ran at the tall brick wall of the side of the hotel terrace and a gust of wind swirled beneath her. This was beyond Skyler's attention, as she was focused on helping with the Heartless. The swirl of wind oscillated rapidly beneath her feet and sped more as she reached the wall. The wind picked up her body and raised it above the wall and over the terrace. The gust of wind, then, gave her a push toward the hotel. Within a dash, she had bursted through the hotel doors. She fell on arrival in the hotel hall. She hadn't at all realized her levitation. She saw the Neoshadow fighting the cute blond and a boy who seemed troubled by the Heartless. She hurled her shruiken at a few Neoshadow in the middle of the hall. She smiled toward the blond, "I know you said to stay back, but a little help wouldn't hurt." Before she had gotten much chance the attack many, the blond had already cleared some. She noticed he had a Keyblade. She had never seen one up close, before! The weapon was surely lengendary and the Heartless hadn't a chance against its awesome power. This guy was a gentleman, a stud, AND a Keyblade weilder! She was mesmerized by him, "Well, it looks like you don't need much of my help" she giggled. Her gaze upon him was interrupted by a blindsiding strike from a Heartless. Her face quickly reddened, she hoped he hadn't seen that! She noticed that the other guy was trapped on the other end, she assured him,"Don't worry, we're here to help!"

David shook his head slightly as he took out a few weaklings. These two had some talent, but they needed to focus more on the fight. He glanced down the hall to the last door, thankfully still intact and locked. That was his room, locked by his keyblade and warded against Heartless. Now all they need to do was get to it. "You two stay still for a minute, then head for that last door."
David studied the distance between the women and young man, then tapped the wall opposite the rooms with his keyblade. "Crystal Genesis!" A few seconds later diamond hard crystal spikes erupted along the wall, skewering most of the Heartless in the hall. The instant the attack stopped he ran to the door and unlocked it with a thin beam of light. "Get in here where it's safe!" He planned to fight the remaining Heartless until the others were inside.

A Soldier swung his foot back, a clear indicator it was about to attack. Siris raised his longsword, parrying the high speed kick with little effort. As he tossed the soldier heartless back, a Shadow Heartless leaped over the armored creature's shoulders. Siris quickly dispatched it with a shield bash, squishing the monster against the wall. He backs up as crystals sprout from the walls, taking his kills. He slumps forward with both disappointment and appreciation, as he turns to rush into the locked room, turning his body sideways as he ran in. As he got in, he put his hands on his knees, observing the girl as she ran in. She was cute, though his tired body made it impossible to flirt at the moment. "What... What are these things?"

Skyler grinned foolishly as she ran behind the blond. She ran into the hotel room, with a gust of wind moving behind her into a dash. She quickly moved into the door, and primped her hair before the Keyblade weilder turned around. Oh no! He knows! God, I'm such a loser! she thought as her heartbeat races. She had no experience of talking to guys, other than fixing their Gummi ships. She had all but completely forgotten about the Heartless attacking her. She finally took her focus off of him and focused on the other guy. He had darker hair and looked pretty muscular himself. She wondered why he would have had much trouble fighting the Heartless. She smiled at him with concern, "Are you okay? You gave us quite a scare!"

The instant the other two were in the room David slammed the door shut and locked it with another beam from his keyblade before sighing in relief and looking around. It was a simple room, consisting of a small desk and chair near the door on the left, a queen bed by the window at the far wall, and a small chest of drawers to the right. A door by the far end of the chest was slightly ajar, revealing a small bathroom beyond.
David was just about to sit in the chair when he realized that his clothes were still soaked from the pond. "Let me get change before we figure this out." He quickly grabbed a change from the top drawer of the chest and walked into the bathroom, which had everything one would expect for a hotel bathroom. There was an odd cube in the corner with a hole in the top and a single button that he tossed his wet clothes into before changing in under two minutes.
When David returned to the others he looked at the woman and her clothes, noting with some confusion that her hair was somehow perfect, and gestured behind him into the bathroom. "There's a box in there that can dry your clothes quickly if you want to change. My sister's clothes are in the second drawer; they should fit you fairly well." Having finished that, he walked back to the chair and sat before looking at the young man. "So, how did you get to Traverse Town?"

Siris pushed off his knees, nodding, though the cuts, bruises and the torn clothing said otherwise. He would let her move to change, somewhat upset by her demeanor, and the young man who just sat down, acting as if the life threatening situation had not happened. His body and clothes are torn, cuts bleeding, heartless swarmed outside the door, a woman died, and the first thing he could ask was how he got here?! He couldn't even answer that question.
His red-irises eyes gave the man an incredulous look. "Shouldn't we be barricading the door? Arming for the next battle? What about that woman, back in there?!" He was completely clueless, confused, somewhat scared, and moreso frustrated at how these two assessed the situation. And now that he had a moment to start thinking about it, he was STILL hungry!
He took a deep breath, trying his best not get angry. The man had saved his life after all, and these two had come to his aid. He wasn't alone anymore, so the situation wasn't ALL bad. He closes his eyes, and his body began swaying... He snapped them open. It had been so long since he last slept. He paced the room as he talked, to keep himself coherent.
"I don't know. These... Things attacked Radiant Garden an-" he gasped. "Wait, what happen to it? Everyone there?!" He put his hands on his head, unable to wrap his head around what was happening. He sat down on the bed, trying not to lose it.

Sky rushed to the bathroom, and quickly locked the door. She undressed herself, and threw them into the cube in the corner. She rummaged through the drawer that the blond had told her. She saw some of the clothing, and she picked up a violet T-shirt and light blue jeans. As, she put both of them on, she heard the red-eyed guy start freaking out. She couldn't really blame him, it was crazy. She felt like freaking out as well, she has no idea where she was at nor did she know how to leave. She saw nothing but Heartless and she needed these guys to help her. However, she had no idea if she could trust them, though they were both cute, she didn't know them at all. However, she felt somewhat relieved, as she finally landed somewhere, she finally can walk around and sleep. She HATED the ship, but she felt depressed as the ship was destroyed. It was a project that she and her dad had worked on together before he died. Once she realized that, tears began to streak down her eyes, she sank to the bathroom floor and cried. She had lost what was left of her father. Crying was almost an everyday thing for her, she still hadn't gotten over the loss of her family, in spite of it being years since. She cried as silently as she could make herself, because she didn't want either of the guys to know that she was.

David was confused for a moment as the young man mentioned Heartless attacking Radiant Garden, then something clicked. "You were there when Radiant Garden fell twelve years ago? It was covered in darkness for ten years, then a keyblade wielder named Sora brought it back to the light. The survivors came back after that and started rebuilding. I actually live there, along with my sister and best friend."
David was still stunned, but tried to cover by pulling out a protein bar and tossing it to the man. "Here, eat this. This room is locked from all sides as long as the door is, and most people here avoid these areas if they can't fight. Those that come anyhow..." He sighed in resignation before continuing, running his hand through his hair. He could hear soft sobbing from the bathroom, but pretended not to notice for her sake. He did raise his voice slightly so she could hear his words. "One thing I learned the hard way is that you can't save everyone. You can take care of the living, or mourn the dead, but not both at once. I choose to save what I can. That is what I fight for."

Siris blinked, tilting his head. This night just got stranger and stranger. He stood up, walking to the full body mirror next to the door to the bathroom. "Twelve years...?" He looked in the mirror. Nope, still looked 19. If what he said was true, he should've been at least thirty years old. He touched his face, sighing. "Twelve years later and STILL no facial hair." He turns around as the bar is passed to him, sighing, and quickly taking a bite out of it. He looked down at his torn self. As food entered his body, and his emotions began settling, he remembered that he had been learning how to cast spells before the darkness attack. He raised a hand in the air, before shouting out. "Heal!" Nothing happened... "Refresh?!" Still nothing. What the heck was the spell word? "Uh... cure?" As he said it softer, green petals appeared above his hand, swirling around his body. The petals caressed over his wounds, disappearing as the leaves lifted off his skin. And took a breath as the leaves tumbled to the ground, then dispersed. He looked back at the boy sitting on the chair. "Twelve years, huh?" He looks around the room. "Well, I've had a habit of getting lost. Is this a new section of the Garden?" He heard the girls soft crying, but knew he shouldn't interfere. He didn't even know her name, yet.

Skyler heard what the blond had said, and she finally decided to realize it wasn't her fault. She dried her tears, and wiped her face with a towel. She needed the push of confidence. She knew he was meaning for her to hear that. She smiled as she finished getting dressed. Once she put on her necklace, she decided to come out. She was listening to the dark haired guy talking about Radiant Garden. Her curiosity was piqued, "Radiant Garden?! I just found out that I was from there. I was hoping the place had some answers." Then, she noticed that they didn't know each other's names. "Oh! Pardon my manners, my name is Skyler Falls, what is yours?" She looked inquisitively at the two guys.

David shook his head at the seemingly young man's question. "This is a completely different world called Traverse Town. It mainly operates as a shelter for those that lost their worlds to the Heartless." The woman finally emerged from the bathroom and he glanced over to her as she spoke. Nice to meet you, Skylar Falls. My name is David Talec, though some call me Mizan. I've lived on Radiant Garden since my world was lost two years ago." He grinned ruefully as he realized that he had been giving his true name to people far too easily.

Siris blinked. "Worlds?" He held up a hand, cutting off any explanation. One thing at a time. He listened as each of them gave their names, smiling despite himself as they announced their surnames.
"Siris." He nods his head. He looks at both of them. "So... Heartless." He points at the door. "Those are the shadow monsters who attacked Radiant Garden, and are attacking this... world of Traverse Town now. Aren't we in danger of... what happened in Radiant Garden?" He thinks. "And also... what are we going to do next? Sit in here until they leave?" He rolls his shoulders. "I just needed a moment. We can fight our way out when you are ready."

Skyler agreed with Siris, wouldn't this place be taken over just so easily? She gave David the same puzzled look. "Are the Heartless going to bash in? Are they going to take over?" Her face grew worrisome, "I can't die the same way my parents did!" Her face dropped in desperation, "David, if we are going to die, I would like to know now."

David looked from Sirus to Skyler, trying desperately to keep a grin from forming. "They can't take this world, or Radiant Garden, because Sora locked the Keyhole on these and several other worlds. Once that's done the Heartless can't destroy them." His tone grew slightly more serious as he continued. "As for this room, nothing can get in or out without a keyblade or a Corridor of Darkness, and even if they could they wouldn't last long. I'm a little confused as to why the Heartless here are stronger than usual, but compared to what I've been fighting recently even these might as well be gnats."
