Finally stepping out of the alleyway, Ríona found herself in what she would find out later to be the 1st District of Traverse Town. Glancing around, she quickly deduced that she was in some sort of town, noticeable by the shops and tall buildings around her. In that brief moment, she took the time to wonder where she was. Never in her world had she seen any location quite like this. Struck with a certain sense of awe, Ríona studied the buildings around her. In her own world, such work would have been done by a master craftsman - the likes of which were few and far between.
Without any sense of direction in this weird place, she picked a direction and started walking. While she did so, she tried to jostle Taranis into awakening by asking him another question and extending her spirit towards his energies.
"Seems like a homely place, eh buddy?"
No response. The District was empty, and the only sound was of Ríona's own steps. Something had happened to her friend, something to do with what had happened before she lost consciousness in her world. However, she knew that eventually, with her gentle prodding, her friend would be brought out of his slumber. Reaching the pair of looming wooden doors before her, she reached out a hand and pulled the handle. Broken was the silence with a heavy creaking sound. "Gosh, that sounded ghastly," she shivered, before making her way through.
The door led into a place as spacious as the last, with Ríona instantly noticing the lit fountain in front of her. "Wow..." she gasped, rushing across the District to get a closer look. Golden light danced across the fountain as the statuettes of what seemed like two dogs kissed. Back home, there was nothing as bright as this. Entranced, Ríona stood staring, lost in her thoughts of home... what she wouldn't give to be back there right now.
