Siris looked back at Soah as he had been the first to reply, smiling despite himself at the... nickname. He chuckles, before nodding at his opinion on learning on the job, as well as his Achilles Heel. "Aye, I understand." He turns to David as he told him of his 'weakness'. "Not many to really hold superior fighting skills above." He looks around the table once more. "There are more things to worry about other than being taken advantage of, or abuse of power. Darkness is something that can make a person something they are not. But just as it is a hindrance... it's also a crucible of sorts to learn from. If you can take that Darkness, and re-purpose it for good means, you've won that struggle with yourself." He smiles at David, knowing his mastery over the darkness. His friend was not a bad person, changing his opinion on the darkness, quickly for someone who covets Light. Siris turns to Damien as he explains the priority of learning before missions. "Of course, sir. I meant no wish to rush headlong into the next dragon we face, but with one major issue, comes many minor ones. I doubt there will a shortage of those to deal with." He clears his throat, listening intently to the story Damien told, absorbing every bit of information, eyeing the picture that was gestured to, then back to his leader. When he had been told the worlds had been sleeping, he wondered if that explained how he had not aged, after Radiant Garden's demise. But since it didn't seem that world had fallen asleep, it was another dead end.
He asked about what was expected of this place. Of themselves. He twisted in his chair to look at... Evia, was her name? Not particularly chatty, that one. The commander, Claire, had been silent as well during these exchanges. Siris furrowed his eyebrows at Evia, her seemingly rehearsed response striking an odd chord in him. "Skilled and Obedient?" He thought. "Is she a knight or a tool aiming to be used?" He crosses his arms, musing over the question as Soah spoke. What he had expected to be a grandiose speech about protecting the innocent... actually was a rather darker tone as he had brought up dying and missing friends, promises to be held. He sighed sadly. Not everyone was so easy to label. He felt regretful to seeing Evia as a tool, no doubt her motives and behaviors reflecting her own thoughts and goals.
Siris cleared his throat. "From an order, deigned to protect people, bring peace, and destroy darkness, well, those who seek chaos, I guess is a better way to put it... They need to be heroes. Not with just the strength of their weapons, but the strength of their heart as well." He raises an arm outward. "One such Knight of Heart would need to know when the time for battle is at hand... But also when they should sheathe their sword and find another way." He lowers his arm, rubbing the back of his head. "Prevention is the best cure, and if we want to prevent conflicts, we should, ourselves, not rush in expecting a fight from all sides. There are few that escape that privilege, though..." He trailed off, referring to the heartless, and the Unversed, though he knew such creatures were not around any longer.
"But you spoke of training, yes?" He looked around the room, attempting to find an indication of the time. If it wasn't too late, Siris would see if he could begin training today, even if the others would not join him.

Claire simply listened to the others speak without saying anything. She wasn't much for casual talk, to be fairly honest - she preferred to let her skills and blade do the talking for her. It seemed their first topic of conversation would be the purpose of this organization - the Knights of Heart - in the first place. Well, that was fair enough. She simply impassively ate her food (her third serving thus far - the food was delicious and the constant amount of training and fighting she did burnt through calories like crazy) as she listened. For now, any serious missions would be handled by Damien, Soah, and herself. Fair enough. The rest of the knights needed training before they could be strong enough to handle themselves, and even then, they wouldn't be fit for solo missions for some time. She could understand the reasoning.
She listened as Damien told them about the backstory and the war that had preceded the organization. Overpopulation... an issue she was rather familiar with. She had seen it many times during her visits to the mortal worlds. It without fail brought war and suffering as the people kept competing and fighting one another over constantly dwindling resources. This emperor... she had heard of the man once or twice before, and how he had been stopped. She didn't get the details too well - it was rather recent for her kind and any records were relatively vague - but it was clear that Damien had done a great deed. Dark God... she hadn't heard of anything like this. She wondered who that would be...?
But still, their purpose was clear enough. They would be ambassadors and peacekeepers, those that deigned to keep order to any conflicts or injustice that would break out. Sounded simple enough. She had done plenty of that under her service as emperor - there was no reason she couldn't continue. And she didn't have to worry about anything, such as politics or backstabbing. The Knights seem honorable enough, and they were no doubt also cowed by the threat of punishment that came with any treason. Still, couldn't hurt to keep her guard and be careful.
To the question Damien posed everyone, Claire listened carefully. Evia was short and to the point - she was rather blunt, wasn't she? The aspects she was looking for were slightly troubling, though. She did not speak as a knight, but a soldier. Perhaps she saw herself as only a weapon - to be used as directed. What they needed were knights, not weapons. She needed to keep a close eye on her. Soah was keeping a promise and searching for a friend. It took honor and deep respect to continue such a promise to a friend who has passed on. And whoever he was searching for better thank their fortunes for having such a good friend. Siris himself seemed rather idealistic, believing they should be heroes and doing what they can to stop the darkness and even stop it before it starts. Well, he was proving to be very intelligent. Training him would be interesting...
"As for me," she said, finally speaking after a long silence. "An order that is dedicated to strength, honor, and justice is what I wish to stand by my side. As for what I seek... Injustice has plagued the universe for far too long. If I can take part in eradicating it, then it shall be an honor to do so." Might as well be truthful She also sought strong opponents to match her skills and learn from, but that part would be evident later. No need to tell them about it now. At Siris's mention of training, she looked over at Damien. Siris himself seemed rather eager to begin any training, but she wished to know what he thought.

David sat quietly as the others chatted about the history of the worlds and the war that set up everything. He had never truly been interested in history, but he leaned forward in interest as Damien mentioned a Keyblade master. Finding one was a very large part of why he continued to travel the worlds after accepting his status as one of the only three survivors of his race. Mainly due to what happened once he did accept that.
Evia's goals seemed overly simplistic to David, but he supposed that she had her reasons for them. Her aura showed that she thought carefully about her response, so he doubted she would truly follow orders blindly. Soah's reasons were eerily similar to David's old ambitions before returning to his homeworld of Celderat. The constant fighting over the last few years must have created many stories in similar veins. He couldn't help but grin slightly at Siris' acknowledgement of his Elements, but he envied his viewpoint somewhat. Claire's goals seemed the most straightforward of all, something David was beginning to notice as a trait of hers, but her aura showed that she was still hiding some small part of them.
Finally he decided it was his turn to speak again. "You mentioned there only being two bearers of the Keyblade during the war, but it appears that several others have appeared since. What I have yet to find is a true Keyblade Master, or someone else who knows more than common knowledge about them. That is one of my goals, since trial and error can only get you so far in these things." He decided against outright admitting to using a keyblade, at least until training began. "My other reason for being here is to help those that must relocate to a new world, as I did two years ago." Satisfied with his answer, he settled back again before glancing over to Damien at Siris' mention of training. It didn't seem too late to David, but he had been known for losing track of time before.

Damien patiently waited after he had relayed all of that information. It was a lot to take in. After he had asked everyone what they expected of this place and what they wanted, he waited again. Evia was the first to speak up. She was quick and to the point. It seemed she didn't care who was her ally so long as they were at her level or stronger than she was and well, capable. He could understand her point. It wouldn't be good to end up teamed up with someone that didn't know what they were doing. That's another reason why none of them were out rushing to do any missions yet. No, the new recruits would train here in the headquarters first.
Next, Soah commented on what Evia had said. He wasn't here to just save the worlds. He was here because of a promise to a friend he had made and to find another. Judging by what Soah had said, it sounded as if Soah were searching for a girl that meant a lot to him. Of course, Damien wouldn't voice that. He didn't know their actual relationship to know if that were the case for certain. Whatever the case, Soah's friend was lucky that she had such a dedicated friend in Soah. Damien hoped that Soah would find her. It sounded like the other's story was a bit depressing. Maybe that's why he felt the need to be so cheerful?
After Soah, Siris spoke up mentioning the Darkness. Honestly, it was things Damien had heard of before but he permitted him to speak. In a sense, Damien was on the brink of turning Dark himself. He fought on the dark side once before. Of course, Damien was keen to left that information out. He didn't think it necessary to tell the others about himself to that extent. After all, what would they think about him if they knew? They would probably be more wary of him. He needed to maintain keeping this role so he wasn't going to jeopardize it by telling them that he used to fight for the other side.
Siris then directed some of his speech to Damien. Damien looked directly back at him and simply nodded. He understood what Siris was saying. Rushing headlong wouldn't be wise. What Siris said was well said. A Knight of Heart should know when to sheathe one's weapon and know when there is a need for it. They should not rush into a conflict expecting a battle from all sides.
"That is well put, Siris." Damien then turned to Claire when she spoke up. The woman had been keen on eating. Damien couldn't blame her. The food here was delicious. However, he wasn't that hungry today so there wasn't much need for him to eat as heartily as a number of them.
Next, Claire spoke. She believed that injustice had plagued the worlds for far too long and that it was time to eradicate it. The way she sounded, it made him think of some sort of self righteous dictator. Believing that they could bring justice to everything when the balance of things never worked that way. Where there was good, there was always evil and then there were those that were smack dab in the middle of things. Never the less, he respected everyone's views and kept his opinions to himself as he listened. It gave him a chance to see where everyone's view was and how they may work together.
Then, finally, David spoke. Damien looked over at their last member as he did so. When he spoke, David mentioned the two keyblade bearers. According to him, several appeared since then. "I am sorry to say that during the war, the Key bearers then were masters...both are now dead. A keyblade had been passed down after much teachings from a keyblade master. Thus, now there are more but that isn't to say they were the only Masters. There might have been more, some even asleep at the time for all we know. All that I do know is that a friend of mine owns a keyblade and that there are many others in the worlds now, which is relieving." Then, David said that he was also here to help people relocate. He had to be the only one that mentioned this. It was something they would be helping peoples from each world with.
Damien slowly gave a nod and a moment to absorb everything that had been said by everyone. When Siris spoke of training, Damien gave a shrug. "If there are those of you who are intent on training, you may. However, we will have to finish eating and then I will have to lead you to your quarters before you head to the training area. It wouldn't do to allow hours of training that might end up well into the night and find you cannot find where it is you are suppose to be."
--------------
It seemed like everyone, after a while, had finished. Seeing this, Damien decided now was a time more than any time. Getting to his feet, he nodded at everyone and spoke. "Alright, now that it appears we have all finished, please follow me. I will lead you to where your living quarters will be. Each of you has their own personal living space."
Damien lead them down a series of hallways and stairways. All of which were headed downward. It was pretty straight forward and although it seemed like someone could easily get lost, there were signs provided to indicate to them where they were in the building.
By the time they had reached where the Living Quarters would be, Damien took pause. The corridor was much larger and there were large doors aligning either side of them indicating the rooms within had to be very spacey. Damien walked into the center of the hallway and indicated either side of him. "Here is where you can choose your rooms. If any of you need me, my room as at the very end of this hall." As he waited for everyone to pick a room, Damien patiently waited for those that were intent on getting to the training area.
"Those of you who wish to train, you will be able to find the hallway leading from the left here that will take you to a bridge leading outside. On the other side, through the doors there, is the training facility." Damien would lead them there if need be but he had to make sure everyone else with their rooms was situated.
