The girl shrugged after everything. This clearly wasn't getting anywhere; they wanted to exact revenge and stop whoever was hunting keyblade but had no clue where to find them. That was the problem in these types of settings. As for where Prythian wanted to go, for some reason the description sounded familiar, like she could almost picture what he was talking about despite never going. Then Arin actually referred to the place by name. It definitely didn't ring any bells, despite her own relatively decent knowledge of this universe this was definitely a place that escaped her. Oh well, she was probably going to find out first hand.
"Seems we're at an impasse then. There's obviously no way I would know. But if you boneheads really are that clueless, there is a place to start. Go to where you encountered him and inquire people there about seeing someone that fits his description." Immediately JessY stood up. They had a plan, no use in wasting any more time dawdling around. She would start to step toward the door. "You know, unless you've spontaneously came up with a better suggestion?" She would take another step. She wasn't normally the type to be pushy, but she wasn't sure if she wanted to step off this crazy train quite yet.

Prythian shrugged, nodding. "In that case... we need to see if anyone on this world's seen him since he attacked us. After all, it was here." He tapped his nose conspiratorially. "I drew him off into the other, less populated segments of the town, on the outskirts, so that no one else would get hurt during the fight. It was a good idea at the time, but it may make finding out where he went a bit more difficult." And with that, he ate what remained of his pizza. He'd need all the energy he could get in case they ran into their quarry soon.

Arin just shrugged and finished eating his slice as well. Any plan was better than no plan, and he didn't have any idea which way to go to find the old man who broke their keyblades the first time. Following Prythian and JessY, he helped when needed, but left the questions to Prythian, who knew more about the old man than he did...Even though that wasn't by much.

The old man sighed, sipping coffee at a shop far away. Radiant garden was a huge city. A magnificent place, really. And more importantly, a magnet for keybladers. Had he left? No, not really. Simply moved somewhere else on the world and cloaked himself for a bit. Literally and magically. Now wearing a white cloak, hood pulled over his head, he calmly waited for the hubbub to die down. Once people had forgotten about the whole thing, it was just rinse and repeat. Perhaps at some point he should invest in making a keyblade tracker. It would be a lot easier than the current method... But then, he wasn't particularly good with technology.
Regardless, it had certainly been long enough by now. It was a few days later, and there were few enough people around to begin with that the news hadn't spread far. Perhaps soon he could issue another challenge.
And yet, he had the strangest feeling. Perhaps it was the twinge of someone who wanted revenge, the anger and hatred reaching him even from the other side of the world. Or maybe it was his blade, starting to realize that something it destroyed had, against all odds, recreated itself. Whatever it was, he was curious. And perhaps the smallest bit nervous.
Ah well. Another sip of coffee and the waiting game.

They had to be getting close now. This is seemingly where the trail just... dies. Honestly, JessY was amazed they found any useful information at all, let alone how quick they found it. There was never any indication of the man leaving Radiant Garden however; until, just about now. They seemed to have hit a stand still in what people have to offer, indicating that he simply vanished. People don't vanish really, unless they teleport. Actually... that was a good possibility. One she was about to consider.
"So we've come this far, which is pretty freaking unbelievable, but it looks like we're coming to a standstill. I mean, I'm sure there's someone we didn't ask yet, but it seems like this is where his scent trails off... figuratively speaking. Hmm." She didn't want to bring up the hopeless situation that he actually did teleport and vanish thus giving them absolutely nothing to go on, not yet. It had to be the last resort. "Any ideas?" She seemed legitimately curious; no hints of sarcasm or patronizing in her voice.

Prythian thought for a minute, mouth twisted in a grimace. He didn't like having not been able to find the man either... was it even possible for them to come across him? Actually... "I've got it." Prythian said quietly. "We may not be able to go to him... but we can make him come to us!" He turned to Arin. "He's after Keyblades, right?" And with that, he summoned his own, it appearing in his hands. "Just run around Radiant Garden. And I do mean run. Someone running, particularly if they have a weapon in their hand, will draw attention. If he's still around here, he'll see the Keyblade. Whether he recognizes you or not, he'll come after you. Or me, as the case may be."
He turned to JessY. "If this works, we're going to need to have some sort of signal for we find him, so that we can get together and go through a portal to our battleground. If he gets to me, I'll send a beam of light into the sky." As he said this, he lifted up into the air, robe rippling in the air currents that were keeping him aloft. "Arin. Do you have any good ways of signaling the rest of us?"

Arin started to grin, liking the idea that Prythian was coming up with, using the sight of keyblades to lure out the old man. But when asked if he had a method of signaling the others, he shook his head "I've got nothing but a fire spell that doesn't have much range, and the flames are black. What if you and I run as bait, and we have an eye in the sky up on the rooftops to send out a signal for the moment one of us encounters the old man."
He gripped the metal band on his left wrist and let his black coat manifest, flipping it over his head as the rest of his clothes start to change to match the black of his coat, his face hidden from view as he summoned his keyblade "I'll head for the marketplace, you handle the bailey and the raised walkways. How about we meet up in the residential district in the open plaza, if we luck out and get him to chase us."

((With JeY's permission, we're assuming JessY has agreed to this.))
Prythian, already in the air, took off the moment the other two agreed to this. With his Keyblade out in the open, as well as... well, his condition, glowing cracks and all... and flying... well, it was definitely something everyone nearby was taking notice of. Even as far as Radiant Garden was concerned, Prythian was almost certainly an oddity of a sort that didn't happen regularly. Of course, he was careful enough to avoid running into anyone, flying just above most people's range, and holding his Keyblade in such a way that it wouldn't hit anyone. Still... He doubted he'd run into many people in the bailey, so this wouldn't take long at all.
((Xand, Raph, either one of you can post, because honestly, we just need to get to the point where the old man takes notice and things can start happening.))

"Remember, we want to catch him off guard. Don't let him see your face." Once Prythian took off toward the bailey, Arin, keyblade in hand and hood masking his identity, sprinted up the stairs to the marketplace. Once he was up on the marketplace, he started walking around the plaza, shifting his head left and right slowly and trying to stand out as much as possible as he walked around the clearly local residents. Most people who walked past him gave him odd looks, which he paid no mind. He tried thinking like the old man would, the old man wanted to find keyblade wielders, so why not look in places where there were plenty of people?
He just hoped he was right.

Yes, something was definitely off. The feeling had been growing ever since it started. His eyes shifted up, staring through the crowd, scanning the marketplace around the cafe. Looking for anything that might set his senses off. Anything unusual-
A keyblade? Well, it could explain the feelings. Perhaps the owner simply had no control over its power. If it was a keyblade with some special ability, and they had recently acquired it, it was plausible that those nearby might feel its effects. He had certainly seen a flash of metal, though. On a hooded figure, nonetheless. A bit suspicious. Perhaps even worse than inexperience was someone capable with bad intent. Suddenly this matter became serious. If there was someone planning to do something in such a packed crowd,it could be a bloodbath.
Standing up, the man put down his coffee. How best to remove the mysterious figure from the crowd? Starting a fight could injure civilians, especially if he did have bad intent. But he couldn't just kill the man (woman?)- there was still the possibility that the wielder was just inexperienced, or not at all responsible for the strange vibe he was getting. But then, why were they cloaked, and holding a drawn weapon? Perhaps it was safest to remove the crowd from the area, not the figure.
The man pointed a finger skyward. Tiny fireballs erupted from the tip and dispersed themselves into the air a few feet above the citizen's heads. Then they all started exploding, tiny flashes of light that did nothing but make lots of noise and generally cause chaos. People freaked out, looking for the source, unable to find it. The man pointed in an arbitrary direction. "Heartless! Heartless in the square! Run!" Nothing was there, of course, but amidst the chaos people were willing to believe anything. They swarmed out among the numerous streets, leaving the area empty. Or, if he was right, mostly empty. Any 'hero' with a keyblade would have stayed to fight the supposed heartless. And even a villain would likely not be fooled by the ruse- nor would they be afraid of the dark if so. Either way, it was likely that the wielder would remain there.
Sadly, he'd probably attracted attention with the light and sound show. Once again, he was on a tight schedule. Hopefully there wouldn't be any more do-gooders by to protect these 'innocent' keybladers...

Arin stopped when the loud, bright light-show was going off overhead, tilting his head slightly to catch a glimpse of the fireworks of magic. Then, he heard an all too familiar voice crying out about Heartless in the square. Looks like Arin's suspicions about the old man hiding in a crowd was right, and he lucked out that the old man had stayed here to hunt for more keybearers.
Since he had found his mark, and the old man had basically fired off his signal for him, he decided it was time to wait for the crowd to disperse, then work on luring the old man toward the open plaza of the residential district. Arin threw his keyblade down to stab its tip into the stone walkway, standing beside it and staring at the sole individual who wasn't running for his life from the 'Heartless'
Arin stood there, silently waiting for the market square to empty out, and not moving a muscle as he watched the old man from a distance *Thanks for shooting off the signal for me, old timer, less work for me to do...Now then, let's see how arrogant and gullible you really are...*

((Since I'm not sure who's supposed to post next, I'm just gonna say it's me, then JeY, then Xand. We're just about done with this thread anyway and will be able to move on to the Graveyard.))
As soon as the flashes of light and explosions sounded, Prythian started, looking back towards where it was happening. His Keyblade vanishing, Prythian somehow knew that this was the sign they had needed. The old man was here... and located. He could only hope JessY and Arin were already there. Taking off, he flew through the air until he was almost at the marketplace... and then landed on the ground silently, not within range to be noticed yet by anyone there. Quickly, he concentrated, and plate armor, formed out of crystal, appeared on top of him, obscuring the entire of his appearance.
The only hint at who this was was that the plate armor, instead of clinging to his legs, clung to his robe, as Prythian hadn't managed to come up with a way to have standard plate armor without it interfering with his walking. As a minor afterthought, he colored it bright red, the only sign that this was made out of crystal being the angles and way the light shone off of it. With any luck, the old man would think it was just some mysterious material, and make no connection to the crystal-user he'd fought earlier.
As soon as the armor was finished, Prythian ran into the market square, the crowds already almost gone. He halted, as if someone unconnected to the events, and glanced back and forth to the old man and Arin. ...But where is JessY? I can't open the portal until we're all here and I can be sure we'll all make it through...

Oh, what fun it was to be the odd one out this time. Not that JessY wasn't used to it throughout her life, but it seemed the two them were out looking for a psychopath while she just played the whistle-blower. She wouldn't have asked for a keyblade anyway, they seem like a lot of work and with her current situation she thought she was much better off anyway. Maybe having one would make her one of the cool kids, but at that point being cool would be overrated. She kept a watchful eye from a nearby seat, looking for anything obvious that counts as whatever they planned to do for a signal.
And if a hoard of people running away from the plaza at once wasn't obvious who knew what was. She stood up, not particularly arming herself quite yet but darting her eyes around for the cause. She wasn't going to rush blindly into the chaos since she had a very distinct role of being the only one who could get close without much risk, so she would have to make sure that whatever commotion was being caused was a good sign. Well, 'good'. Actually, any sort of sign would be great just about now.
Right on cue, sparks were flying. Just what she needed. Now that life had granted her exactly what she was looking for right when she thought about it twice in a row, she figured perhaps trying to her luck for number three. "Man, if only this crowd would disperse so I can fucking see what's going on!" she muttered to herself. One... two... three seconds later, there was still a crowd trying to flee. Well, life just wasn't perfect. It seemed she would need a vantage point this time.
JessY had her back to a building for a good reason. She used her Ability Energy to create two beams like an incomplete ladder, then a single rung at her fist which shot up the ladder and launched her onto the roof with a good flip. From there, it was like magic. What was going on was perfectly clear. Being naturally observant, a few darts of her eyes pinpointed some key figures. Prythian off to the side slightly, Arin in the middle and what she assumed could only be their target also there as he was the only one she didn't recognize who wasn't running for their life. Well, time for a dramatic entrance! Can't keep them waiting too long could she?
Kicking out her foot, JessY created an incline from her stationary foot of energy which stopped before too long, then took a step and adjusted herself for balance. She hadn't done this in... hoo boy, it's been quite a while, but it ought to be now. She pushed off with her other foot again and began sliding down the incline she made, which began creating itself further as she slid and disappearing behind her after being traversed. Time to get this event going. "Hey! You dicks starting a party without me down there? ALSO now's a good time to make that portal, hint hint!" JessY cupped her hands at her mouth and shouted with a voice that easily carried across the plaza. Hopefully the boy was paying attention, would make a portal and start a chase before she had quite arrived, and could time things so that she would bring up the rear end of the chase. Of course, she wasn't telepathic, so it was only a hope that what she pictured in her head would actually follow through. At the rate she was sliding however, Prythian would have mere seconds to react properly.
