Player Username: Bhae
Current Character List: Bhae
Random Character Notes (Add anything extra here): Fun Fact! This character is based off myself, and I frequently adapt her to different settings and types of roleplay. When I’m not playing ‘Bhae’ I favor elves and faeries as my characters. I know, I know, it’s hard to believe…but my hair really IS that unmanageable. (Your text here)

About the Character
Character Personality (Please give an in depth description of your character’s personality, must be at least 5 sentences):
Bhae is a textbook introvert; the presence of others is exhausting, even when it is desired. She places a great value on silence and solitude, and what she considers to be moments of meditation alone. People who live fast-paced and stressful lives confound her. She is, as many might say, the tortoise to the world’s hare. Bhae is hesitant to rush others, or to be hasty herself. She likes to look at all sides of a situation before she makes a decision, and not just because she fears being wrong—but because she enjoys the act of observation and debate. This has earned her titles such as “wise” and “trustworthy.” Her theory is simply that she has an excellent memory, and recalls things quickly and easily enough to give herself the appearance of having a higher-than-average intellect. This, combined with her strong drive for justice, makes her a very consistent individual. A good thing, too, because she enjoys assisting others and detests leaving a problem or mystery unresolved.
It’s not all sunshine and paradise, though. Bhae has her secrets, as many do. It was because of her drive to observe and study other people from afar that she began to notice there was something different about the way her own mind worked. Years of wondering eventually led to a diagnosis: Bipolar Disorder. While she is generally quiet, reserved, compassionate, and patient, this is just her baseline. Suffering from the disorder has caused her much trouble. Mood swings raging from sudden boosts in confidence and creativity that result in hours of lost sleep (although she gets a lot accomplished to be sure), to downward spirals of hopelessness and apathy (where she accomplishes absolutely nothing) plague her frequently enough that she must take care to avoid certain triggers. None of her friends seem to mind her plight, and are often wonderfully helpful. But it lingers at the back of her mind as a constant source of insecurity. However, should you ask her, Bhae will insist that she would not trade her “complication” for anything. She believes that struggles make you stronger, and that without her disorder, she would not be where she is today.
Character Appearance (Please include such things as height, hair color, eye color, body type, clothing, weight, etc. You need to actually write a description. You may include a picture for reference. Must be at least 5 sentences):
Bhae is short for her age, barely reaching 5’4”, but she is content at this height even if she sometimes teases that she would enjoy an extra lift now and again. Her eyes are a very pale green, and almost appear grey or hazel from a distance. For her height, she is slightly overweight—enough to give her pear-shaped figure a motherly touch, but not enough to inhibit her health, as she is rather fit and stronger than she looks. Her hair is another thing entirely—medium brown, falling to mid back, and a ridiculous mess of spiral curls and frizzy waves that she can never seem to tame. Even when she does manage to lash it into plaits, it maintains the appearance of a mane trying to ripple free of its bonds. Her skin is pale, save for rosy cheeks and light freckles scattered about her forehead, her shoulders, and some on her nose. She has a few random scars from working with her hands, crafting, and sewing, but nothing significant enough to draw attention.
Her clothing could best be described as casual. Frequently seen in sandals—if she is even wearing shoes—and olive green cargo pants, one might assume that the word ‘fashion’ is entirely foreign to her. She wears a many manner of belts, and from them hang assorted skeleton keys—antiques she has collected, after taking a liking to their shape—as well as one large silver locket. She also has a leather pack attached to her largest belt, used for holding small items. Her shirt is red, long-sleeved with cut-outs near the shoulders, and features a metallic butterfly printed across the chest. She is usually seen wearing an open, black coat, that stops just short of her mid-thigh. It has red trim in some places, and is a medium weight, suitable for cool weather and for rain, despite its lack of a hood.
Character Position (Hero/Neutral/Villain): Lawful Neutral
Character Abilities (Maximum of 15 abilities allowed - please write your abilities in list form, starting with name & then description):
Noticeably lacking in Battle Prowess, Bhae prefers to support rather attack. By protecting herself, and healing others, she remains ready and able to flee if she has to.
Dodge Roll- As it sounds, Bhae can roll away from attacks too difficult to block. Rolling around takes a fair amount of stamina though, and she cannot be expected to keep it up forever. She can only do this once per post.
Wind Armor- Protects herself with a small wind. It lasts for 2 posts, but cannot be used again until 4 turns have passed.
Cura- Heals herself and her allies. Can only be used once every 4 turns.
High Jump- Bhae can jump higher than normal
Reflera- Creates a barrier or shield of light for herself or for an ally. Lasts one turn. Cooldown two turns.
Blizzard- Shoots an ice crystal at enemies; can also be used to extinguish fires. Cooldown 4 turns.
Character Weapons (Maximum of 5 weapons allowed – members must have 100 posts before their characters may wield a keyblade): (Your text here)
Brutus- A baton of sorts that most resembles a baseball bat with studs for added “ouch.” Brutus is thick, well-balanced, and medium weight. It can be used for melee attacks, and is maneuverable enough to block and parry incoming attacks, but is relatively useless at blocking magic. It is enchanted to hang on one of her many belts as a keychain until she calls for it.
Character Summons (Optional field – no canon summons allowed – maximum of 2 allowed and maximum of 2 abilities each allowed): NONE
Character Racial Ability (Optional - Your character may have ONE passive ability that seems to have an abnormal affect due to being a particular race. Merfolk can breathe underwater, Lava creatures are immune to fire, that sort of thing): Being Human, she is a bit unremarkable in this area.
Character Strengths (1 required): Bhae is far more compassionate than even she gives herself credit for. Though she will often threaten to abandon others for her own safety, she rarely follows through, and is more likely to sacrifice herself for friends than to leave them high and dry. (her bark is worse than her bite.) Some might consider this a weakness, but it has proven to be a strength, for it is her friends that help keep her disorder in check.
Character Weaknesses (1 required): Insecurity, a type of fear. Due to the nature of her mood swings, she has great potential to fall into darkness, and this frightens her.
Character History (Minimum of 10 sentences required.):
Bhae came from a family with many children, of which she was the oldest. So it is no wonder that her personality comes equipped with maternal undertones. Her home life was normal, rarely exciting and rarely unsatisfactory, but she always knew there was something about herself that was abnormal. Her emotions ran wildly out of check. And sometimes it was a good thing. Growing up, she was a fierce protector of friends. She made and kept promises as if her life depended on it. And to present, is still very reluctant to go back on her word. The fiery passion of her youth has dwindled, so that she is almost always in a state of passive calm. But her feelings are just as strong as they always were, despite outside appearances.
She has always lived in Radiant Gardens, though she no longer lives in her family home and has a place of her own. Her neighbors know her as a private individual, but many of them also know that help is only a doorbell away. Bhae rarely turns away inquiries for assistance, no matter who comes knocking, and has been equally willing to oblige those of good alignment and those of bad, depending on what they wanted from her. Because of this, her door has become increasingly busy, what with news of monsters roaming streets and people disappearing into thin air…
Sample Post (For first time character creators only. 10 sentences are required.):
Knock! Knock! Knock!
Three firm, resounding beats of one fist against the wood door, and the sound echoed all about the small house. If you had asked her later, the resident within would have sworn up down and sideways that her teacups rattled with the rhythm…though of course, the sound was not as powerful as all that. In an empty room, though, it did give one a start.
Knock! Knock! Knock!
An exasperated sigh, and she tucked a bookmark between the already dog eared pages she had been reading. Thoughts of ignoring the sound, or perhaps ironically shouting that ‘nobody was home’ did cross her mind. But she would never. Not with knocking that sounded so urgent. The young woman stood, though she was hardly taller standing than she had been while seated, and stepped around her arm chair to stroll down the hall. There was an air of grace about the way she moved, and the way her hair, so full of curls, drifted and sprang while she walked. Every move she made was calculated, and steady—never rushed. Never accidental.
The lock clicked, grinding its gears with a twist of her wrist against the nob, and she opened the door enough to let the light from her hall flow outward onto the visitor’s face.
“Can I help you with something, then?” She asked, voice quiet like a whisper.
Despite her previously agitated gasp, her eyes were full of sincere concern, and it was echoed in her tone of voice. After all, if she had not cared, she would not have risen from her seat at all.
