Character Race: Human
Character Gender: Male
About the Character
Character Personality:
In Adam's youth he was very reserved, apprehensive and considerate with the feelings of others. As time passed and the grains of war and killing polished his core, he became more forward, confident and abrasive. He isnt needlessly a jerk to newly met people but in a lot of cases he'l mock or tease people who he feel like "has it coming". Adam has an active sense of humor, often at the expense of those around him. He thinks himself generally higher than most people, as hes spent most of his life in a world with very few super powered humans. Although he is confident, he's been blindsided by seemingly weak individuals or situations before and rarely lowers his defenses in hubris. Despite his sometimes rude behavior and superiority complex, he has a strong sense of justice and will lay himself on the line in the name of what he deems right (which is generally what most people think is right). He is more interested in big picture perspectives, such as protecting mankind as a whole rather than individual, unimportant people, although he would give a reasonable amount of effort to save an individual life so long as it doesnt jeopardize something more important. A logic>emotion thinker, not to be confused with cold hearted. His abilities have become a part of who he is and consequently he fears the prospect of becoming a normal 'lesser' human being and would likely let himself die before allowing that to happen.
Character Appearance:
Adam is a white man about 5'9-5'10 and stands confidently, face up, chest out and with good posture. The first thing to notice about him is his wavy long dark blond hair that reaches his waist, save for a shorter layer in the front, which reaches his lower chest. He has hazel eyes, a simple silver hoop lip ring on his lower right lip and a short goatee type beard. He is decently muscular and athletic in physique with a broad chest and shoulders, making him slightly top heavy. He is about 200lbs give or take. He is usually wearing a black beater shirt or black muscle shirt/tank top along with jeans or athletic shorts. His shoes are solid black work shoes (the ones kinda like boots with the slip resistant bottom). Sometimes he's wearing a plain black beanie hat. Theres no visual give to him having any abilities or being anything besides a regular (if not unique looking) human.

Character Abilities:
Item Absorption:
With physical, skin contact, Adam can absorb objects into a distortion in his skin. It can be anywhere on his skin, although he almost always uses his hands/arms. Although it appears as though the object enters his body, it is actually taken into a pocket dimension where it is destroyed and registered into a sort of 'item database' to be used with the Replication ability. Absorption itself takes more concentration and time the denser/heavier the object being absorbed is. 10lbs is trivial and takes about a second while say 150lb items are a dedicated task. Magical items (such as keyblades, etc) and living things cannot be absorbed. Dead material can be absorbed, such as wood, leather, and theoretically more macabre things. Item Absorption is like a muscle in that the more it is used the easier it is to use. This ability is granted via an artifact, the triangle magnet, which Adam stores in the associated pocket dimension. If the magnet were to be removed from his possession, he would lose all abilities, including Item Absorption. This has yet to be an issue, as the only way for it to be removed is by Adam's will.
Replication:
Through the same type of rift in his skin as is used in the Item Absorption ability, Adam can eject from himself any item he has registered into his 'item database'. The item created is not the original, but a perfectly identical copy created in a pocket dimension. There is no limit to how many of the same item can be recreated (absorb one fork and later create 10 forks, etc). Like Item Absorption, Replication takes an item's density/weight into consideration in terms of concentration and time. Unlike Item Absorption, Replication also takes a proportional amount of energy in relation to an item's density/weight. A 10lb object would drain a trivial amount of energy
and be almost instant to reproduce, while an object at around his body weight would take a minute or so, completely vulnerable, and leave him at a large deficit of energy. Naturally, many light items would pose the same issue as one large one. There have been times that Adam has created heavy objects in time of duress and immediately afterwards fell unconscious. Replication is like Item Absorption in that it is less taxing the more it is used, although it takes very much use to notice a difference. Replication, like Item Absorption, is granted via the triangle magnet.
P.S. Im aware that the nature of this ability violates the weapon count limit. I have spoken to an admin and have permission to keep this ability under the requirement that I keep a list of absorbed items for all forum users to access.

Enhanced Strength/Agility:
Although Adam himself is athletically inclined, the power of the triangle magnet grants him a greater ability in strength and agility. Neither of the two are brought to superhuman levels, but to levels beyond what Adam visually appears to be capable of. Only the strongest of regular human beings are on par with his strength and his agility is on par with an accomplished gymnist. He wont be throwing any cars or dodging any bullets.

Character History:
When Adam was 11 he and his cousin Ben (also 11) wandered into the woods near Adam’s house. They got pretty lost and not knowing which way was home, delved deeper into the woods. As night fell, they came across an ancient altar with a circular magnet with a triangle in the center atop it (the magnet was considerably larger than 11yr old Adam’s hand). Adam and Ben discussed the magnet for a bit before Adam simply grabbed it to inspect it. The 2 were instantly unconscious and awoke in an alternate Earth and were many miles away from one another. Adam awoke with the magnet next to him and took it. He journeyed through the lands, talking to the people in towns and villages and learning about the new world he was in. He had gathered that there was a world dominating government that was growing more and more horrible, and in the recent year had begun to produce monsters engineered as soldiers to kill all of those not aligned with the government. In mid journey Adam came across his first monster and being terrified, tried to flee. It nearly killed him, but in a final effort, and with a stroke of luck, he retaliated and to his surprise he defeated it. He realized that before he had interacted with the magnet he wasn’t nearly as powerful as he was now. In the forest, a cold, stern teen named Vince took Adam in for the night. Vince was apparently a general in this corrupt military at only age 14, but Adam kept his disposition against the military to himself. During dinner, Vince bluntly came out and said that something was up with Adam beyond what even Adam himself knew. Adam explained the magnet and his elevated strength but Vince insisted that there was something more. The next day they spent hours trying to figure out something special that Adam was capable of. It was at this time that Vince revealed that he himself had the ability to restock/reload any object he was in contact with at the expenditure of his physical energy. He displayed this by firing a 6 chamber revolver at a target over 20 times without reloading. After hours of failed attempts at discovering Adam’s ability, Vince let Adam shoot the revolver at some targets for practice. Before he could start, a large and powerful monster emerged from the woods. Adam was immediately petrified and in a state of massive emotion and fear, accidentally absorbed his first object. Vince’s revolver. He immediately collapsed from exhaustion as the absorption took every ounce of his energy. Because Vince was a general in the military, he commanded the monster to move along and it obeyed. After Adam regained strength, he and Vince talked extensively about Adam’s ability and that there had to be more to it than just swallowing up stuff. Adam could sense a new instinct within him. He focused as much as he could on it and produced a new revolver, causing himself to immediately pass out from exhaustion, as he was again drained even more so than his first absorption left him. When he later regained consciousness and built his strength up again he went his own way and Vince promised theyd meet again. Adam and Ben eventually found one another. Ben had apparently gained a power as well. The ability to mentally connect any 2 organs within a being with psychic energy resulting in different, seemingly random effects every time. They continued on their travels and met up with 3 other kids their age who had abilities, all of which were out to stop the corrupt government. Mako, who could charge his fists with an energy that erases matter. Rahu, who through physical contact could copy a sort of demo version of someone elses power, giving him an array of abilities. Keith who could levitate and combust things at will. They travelled along over the course of a couple years, actually managing to stop some pretty major operations being followed through by the military, and saving a lot of people in the process. Adam had become a lot more used to absorbing and duplicating items. In one mission they were on, they brute forced their way through half of an energy plant until they burst into a room where approximately 10 men had them at gun point. Vince was in the center of the room and was the only one without a raised gun. The men waited for Vince’s order to fire. Instead, Vince raised 2 revolvers and blew the brains out of all 10 of the armed men. Vince helped them destroy the energy plant and afterwards explained that he couldn’t live with himself any more after everything he’d done. He attempted suicide but with the combined effort of all 5 of the kids they restrained him and offered for him to join them to redeem himself. Vince accepted and had a lot of useful info. The person in charge was apparently a 15 year old boy (Adam was 14 at this point) named Soloman Janeba. The party of six split in two with Vince leading Ben and Keith. Mako lead Adam and Rahu. They attacked target after target over a span of years and had many run ins with Janeba himself who was after some kind of mysterious crystals. Over time the party learned that Janeba’s intentions were much more sinister than just a corrupt government. He wanted to sacrifice the planet to a spiritual plane and inherit its power so that he may be a God within that plane. Over years the 6 warriors used a combination of tactics, stealth and damn good use of powers to keep the playing field level against Janeba. At some point (around when Adam was 16) he was possessed by a powerful entity from the plane that Janeba spoke of via a portal in one of his research facilities. It would on rare occasion take control of Adam and rampage, destroying whatever it could. While the entity was in control, Adam’s powers were heightened to disturbing extents and it took all 5 of his allies to keep him at bay until he could regain control of himself. Eventually, some time after Adam had turned 21, the 6 rebels sieged Janeba’s main facility; his base of operations. The structure was monumental, several times the size of any building existing in reality. The siege lasted for 19 hours. Vince and Mako, being the most offence based warriors were to hold off the hordes of monsters being produced en masse. Rahu and Keith were to make their way to the main energy source and plant a bomb. Adam and Ben were to find Janeba and ensure that he couldn’t escape. Vince and Mako were laughably successful, as the young newly produced monsters, while fearsome were nothing compared to the resistance’s finest offense. Rahu and Keith were successful, but were seriously wounded and barely keeping out of fatal harm’s way. Adam and Ben had split up, and Adam found Janeba in his throne room, completely unguarded. Adam saw this as a blessing and immediately engaged. However Janeba was mysteriously incredibly powerful and made a mockery of Adam’s abilities with his own, utterly thrashing him in battle. He explained that he had found all of the mysterious crystals that he was searching for, and that he too had a power. To reach Demi-Godhood once collecting them all. Once Rahu placed the bomb he walkie-talkied everyone that it was placed and to get the hell out of there before 2 hours passed and it blew (which isn’t much time considering the size of the place). Unbeknownst to Adam, while battling Janeba his walkie was broken and he couldn’t receive the message. Everyone except for Adam rendezvoused at the flight strip outside to escape before the explosion, but waited in hopes that he was on his way out. Adam valiantly battled Janeba, even dealing what would be fatal blows, only to have Janeba mutate into some kind of monstrosity each time and keep fighting. At one point, Adam was knocked to his back and was unable to stand up. Janeba reverted to his human form, looked at Adam’s broken form, and stabbed Adam in the midsection. Janeba listened to Adam briefly scream and eventually watched his muscles relax, his eyes close, and his breathing stop. He was dead. Immediately afterwards, the bomb went off, engulfing a 15 mile radius, destroying the facility. The other 5 rebels never boarded an aircraft because they were waiting for Adam, leaving them to the pending mercy of the explosion. However, before the fire could engulf Janeba, he froze time and warped himself and all 6 of the rebels (Adam’s limp corpse included) to the spirit plane. Janeba raged at the 5 remaining rebels about how the only element that could merge the 2 worlds was within the facility, how they had ruined what he had worked for his entire life and how he would kill them all himself. Upon seeing Adam’s lifeless body, the 5 rebels retaliated with all of their might in revenge. None of them stood a chance except for Rahu, who through a hail mary copied a demo version of Janeba’s power. Rahu put up a decent fight and the two exclusively clashed for a few minutes before Rahu was defeated. His demo power wasn’t enough. Just before Janeba destroyed the 5 remaining rebels, Adam’s body stood up. The other 5 rebels were pleasantly surprised until they realized that it was the entity that had possessed Adam, and that Adam himself was not there. Janeba once again cut down Adam. The wound healed and after a moment of contemplation, the entity ejected itself from Adam’s body, leaving him healed and alive before it took physical, horrible form. In this plane it could live in its raw form, whereas in the natural world it could not, which is why it latched on to Adam years ago. It was far more powerful outside Adam’s body. Janeba and the 6 rebels in a haphazard truce battled alongside one another against the entity, but were losing sorely. Janeba decided after much consideration, that he had to use the crystals that gave him power to use a final attack against the entity, which would destroy both the entity and the crystals themselves. Janeba did as such, and the entity was destroyed. However, the spirit plane was held together by the crystals existence, and now that they didn’t exist, the spirit plane was falling apart. Janeba was now powerless and couldn’t warp himself or the rebels away. While the unnatural world around them shattered and tore apart, Janeba broke down, crying and calling himself a monster. In the last few moments of the spirit plane’s existence, the 6 rebels and Janeba looked to each other without words. Their expressions were a mix of panic and goodbyes. The next thing Adam knows, he awakens on his back on a beach (Destiny Island) in the wet sand, alone and with a powerful nausea.

Sample Post:
Adam awoke in a groggy and half-conscious state with the sun in his face. He slowly came to, realizing that he was lying in sand, but not realizing why. He sat up, and that’s when it hit him like a sack of bricks. Nausea and the worst headache he’d ever had. Adam tilted his head to the side and threw up all he had into the sand. It was all liquid so it disappeared innocently into the grainy beach just looking like a wet spot of sand. He repeated this twice and tried to stand up but it didn’t really work as his head would go swimmy whenever he got on his feet and he'd just plop over again. The complete lack of energy he had was not apparent to him initially, but it certainly was now. The sand churned around as Adam ungracefully flopped around slowly over and over before giving up. At least he managed to stay out of the vomit spot. Looking around as he lie on his belly, he saw a beach and a somewhat nearby weird tree fort. Nobody was in sight. Digging through the sand he clawed over to a palm tree a few feet away over the course of a few minutes to be in its shade. He was very thirsty and a little worried, but most of all he was exhausted, despite just waking up. He let his eyes close and was almost immediately whisked away by sleep.
(I'll probably do a more fleshed out version of this as my first RP to transition from the collapsing dimension to Destiny Island)
