Wary from the previous attack, Delay just managed to evade the incoming swords being flung towards him. The Heartless threw forward a punch, but found his fist connect uselessly with Arin's light barrier. Allowing fury to overcome him, Delay roared and hammered against the magical shield with his claws.

Arin smirked as he heard the boy say he had a strategy, despite not even knowing how to kill a heartless "You have a plan, but you don't even know how to kill what you're planning against? Sound logic there, kid." He forced more power into his barrier, putting up against the heartless' powerful blows. However, he noticed the outer layer of his barrier beginning to crack, the heartless succeeding in breaking through his defenses.
"...Fine, you want to fight? Time I gave you a crash course on fighting against heartless. Don't bother using conventional weapons, they're practically worthless against them. They're weak against light, but any form of magic or magical weapon will do to destroy them. And don't let your heart succumb to darkness if you're not prepared for its dark influences, or you're going to become one of them and all of your fighting will be for nothing, trust me."
"I hope this plan of yours won't take long kid, because this barrier can't hold up for much longer..." And he was right, as almost the entire outer layer of Arin's barrier had been reduced to nothing by the heartless' relentless assault.

"Well... I had a strategy, until I heard that... But maybe my Fire magic will be strong enough? I'm currently in a form where my Fire magic is strengthened way more than normal!" Jason explained.

Delay took a step back, and with a powerful charge he battered his side against the shield. The creature's soulless eyes glowed dimly, never blinking, staring at the morsels within the shield. Hungering for their hearts.

Arin grabbed onto the boy's shirt as the heartless rammed into his shield, forcing them to skin backward a bit as the topmost layer of his shield shattered. Exhaling slowly, he willed his armor to encase his young ally, leaving Arin defenseless. He then channeled darkness into the metal bangle around his left arm, a black coat enveloping his body as it strarted to glow. As his body grew brighter and brighter, a black void of darkness was swirling around his feet, slowly rising upward and encasing his body "Keep it distracted, and maybe I'll bring you to speak with my master." As the heartless charged forth again, he dropped the barrier and pushed the boy out of the way before his entire body was engulfed in darkness. Just before the heartless could make contact, an explosion of light burst forth from the darkness with enough force to knock anything within its range back a few steps. When the dust cleared, Arin was standing there, donned in his black coat with a silver aura surrounding his upper body and holding two new keyblades. As the aura moved down to his right hand, it slowly transitioned to a brilliant white, Redemption clasped firmly in his right hand. As the aura snaked down his left arm, it slowly became darker and more sinister, Rapture resting in his left hand and practically screaming for the blood of the creature in Arin's sights. Arin's teal eyes shone dimly as he glared at the heartless, slowly positioning himself to strike "...Come on then creature...You want my heart? Come and get it..."

"Damn... so badass..." Jason said looking at the new keyblades. He regained focus, and his flames got bigger and bigger until Jason released multiple Firaga blasts at the heartless while running away.

The blast of light caused Delay to stutter in his steps. The Heartless regained his footing and turned his neck towards the Keyblade wielder once again. The new blades caught the glow of his eye. His heart was drawn to the homely, familiar aura emitted by Rapture, but the feeling was contrasted by a harsh repel from the winged weapon Redemption.
Eery, inky liquid seeped from Delay's serrated mouth as he tried to comprehend the conflicting feelings the blades presented.
His thoughts were penetrated by large bursts of flames which suddenly engulfed him. The fiery magic clung to him as if the Heartless was made of oil and tar, it burned slowly, but Delay did not so much as blink. Sections of his skin became darker, charred, like onyx scabs.
Darkness began to swirl, even some of the blackness surrounding Arin's left Keyblade drifted towards the Heartless. Delay lifted his arms and strained his claws. He let out a roar tinged with screams. The atmosphere of darkness in the air had become a thick, smoggy cloud which whipped about the villain violently Night's Spiral. The storm was ferocious, tearing up chunks of ground in the graveyard. Delay extended two pointed talons towards Arin and Hoodie, then swept along towards them in the eye of the whirlwind.

Arin saw the cloud of darkness slowly starting to form into a whirlwind and knew what was coming. He turned and started running away from the storm, signalling for the boy to do the same "Move!" Arin swept his right arm and redemption shone brightly, before another keyblade took its place, Heaven's Might. No sooner had the keyblade arrived, did it change shape, into something more resembling of a gun. Arin aimed back while running, looking at the twister that pursued them, and fired into the storm. Five blasts of light shot from from the keyblade blaster, firing through the swirling winds, and trying to aim into the eye, where the heartless no doubt hid.

"Jeez... how many keyblades do you have, and how did you find them?" Jason asked running alongside Arin while shooting fire back at the heartless.

Delay stepped forward, unaffected by the swarming darkness concealing him. The Night's Spiral moved with him as he gave a slow chase to his enemies. Bullets of light and fiery darts mostly fizzled against the outer twirling wall of the storm, a stray projectile here and there made it into the tornado but did not strike the Heartless. Debris and stones were flung around the graveyard, randomly. As the rocks were tossed about, the dark storm began to die down. Before long, it had completely stopped.
Delay's movement became faster as the vortex disappeared. As he drew closer, he punched at the fallen, shattered boulders which littered the ground and sent them flying towards his adversaries, some the size of footballs, others were as large as dogs.

"NOW IS REALLY NOT THE TIME TO ASK THAT!" Arin kept running from the heartless as its dark tornado chased after them, continuing to fire into the vortex. Only when the swirling darkness finally quelled did he stop running, and watch the wind dissipate. Arin let Heaven's Might revert back to key form, before watching the heartless start bunching large rocks their way "Iime to test your durability kid! I'll handle most of the rocks, just deal with the ones that come at you!"
He leapt up into the air, his body slowly angling toward the heartless with his legs bent. A bright flash came from his feet and he propelled himself forward, temporarily spinning before leveling out with his belly aimed to the ground. Releasing his keyblades, they flew in front of him and began spinning like propellers in front of him. The keyblades dealt with many of the smaller, football-sized rocks, but the larger ones got caught in what seemed to be a gravity field around Arin's body, following him before another one knocked it out of the field and took its place. Arin was gliding right towards the heartless, mass of rocks in tow, and he was grinning confidently *Let's see how he likes a taste of his own medicine.*

As Jason was destroying the rocks that came his way, he used his last bit of fire just as a rock the size of a dog whammed him in the chest, knocking him down. 'Fuck' Jason thought to himself standing up and slashing the remaining rocks that came towards him.

Delay's eyes lit in the image of Arin coming towards him, surrounded by a flying amassment of rocks.
Had the Heartless any emotion to provoke him, he would have smiled.
As the Wielder and the Swordsman came closer to Delay, he started to grasp at hidden ebony strands in the atmosphere. Above his head, a large, dark cylinder started to form. It was black with heavy, evil mass, as long as a redwood tree Pillar. The monster concentrated on the darkness, he squinted as the pain of manifestation wore on his shoulders.
When he could no longer bear the weight, Delay compressed all of his energy into the column, and tossed it with the precision of an athlete. It hurtled towards the heroes. He wished he could grin.

Arin saw the pillar of darkness forming and cursed, he wasn't moving fast enough to avoid that and hit the heartless with the rocks he was dragging behind him. He rolled to a stop, most of the rocks passing over him but some of them hit him in the back, making him wince. Getting to his feet, he could tell just by the size of it, this attack will easily shatter his barrier, and do a severe amount of damage. With this attack coming at him AND the boy, he only saw one way out of this, and even then, he was likely going to get some pain out of it "KID! STAY BACK!"
As the billar came hurtling towards them, Arin got as much distance from the boy as he could, while staying between him and the pillar of dark mass. As it drew nearer, he began to channel light to extreme levels, feeling it well up inside of his very core. Just before the pillar collided with him, he felt the light reach past the threshold of control, and he released it all in one explosive blast, a blinding flash shining in the area like a miniature supernova "ENOUGH!!!" Once the blast faded, Arin was seen pushing against the pillar, just a short distance from the boy. But this time, he looked far different, as there was no longer any sign of any aura emanating from his body.
At a first glance, one would think his power boost had given out on him, until they looked further at Arin's appearance. His hair, once a full golden sheen, how was a ghostly white, and his once teal eyes now shone silver as he looked calmly at the heartless. His Heaven't Might keyblade has moved to his left hand, and now, his Redemption keyblade had returned. Two keyblades from the realm of light, contrasting powerfully against the darkness of the pillar, Arin's body was saturated in light, and there seemed to be almost no darkness within him as he was now.
Despite his new appearance, he wasn't without some scars and signs of damage from the pillar's impact, but he was ignoring it, focusing solely on the heartless before him, as he leapt up onto the pillar, and dropped down past it, walking calmly towards the heartless and holding both keys at his sides "...You have been plaguing this realm for long enough...Return to the darkness whence you came, or I will eliminate you from existence without hesitation...
His very footsteps let out whisps of light as he marched forward, Arin swiping his left hand to the side as Heaven's might transformed into its blaster form, aiming it at the heartless and feeling the barrel glow brightly with light. He was going to fire a powerful blast of light at this creature, and that was only the beginning.

Delay's yellow orbs glinted hopelessly against ebony flesh. The pillar came to a halt at the command of the bruised hero - embodying light itself, beaming like a star in midst of blackest night sky as he walked along the column composed of gloom. The Keyblade holder's silver eyes alone were enough to puncture wounds in the surface of Delay's mind. As darkness dispersed, fleeing from the light, the Heartless felt his power folding in on itself. He squirmed away from Arin's gaze. The pistol glowed white, Delay squinted. Whatever rationality remaining within was telling him to run - sink away into shadow, escape.
But he didn't have a choice.
The Heartless had one purpose.
Black and white figures paused like wooden pieces on a chess board, awaiting instruction. Arrows of illumination and louring, dismal aura of shade mingled and repelled one another. In the quiet moment of consideration, Delay flinched. Then he suddenly swept towards his adversary with a swing of the claw - aiming for the wielder's neck. Highlighted eyes glimmered with violence, tinged by a little regret.

Arin stared curiously at the heartless as it hesitated, almost seeming afraid of his advance. But he didn't have time to hesitate when the heartless lunged at him. His keyblade blaster loosed a large ball of light at the heartless, before changing back into blade form. As the heartless drew nearer, his keyblades shone brightly with a white light. And Arin took this opportunity to use one of his strongest attacks. He threw Redemption and Heaven's might alternately, one after the other.
This repeated twice for each key at the heartless, before Arin threw both keys at the same time, the blades colliding in midair and resembling the sawblade attack that he used earlier in the fight. Only this time, the blade was engulfed with a blazing white veil of light, a shining wheel as brilliant as the sun itself hurtling in the heartless' direction.

The spherical blast of light caught Delay in the air, white beams burned the fibres of his frame. As he phased through the blast, gritting through the pain of seared skin, he was met by one of Arin's shining Keyblades. The blade struck his leg; Delay retreated into a mess of ink and fell through the air onto the pillar which lay across the graveyard. On firm ground, the Heartless reshaped himself and approached the foe slowly. He attempted to evade the ongoing Keyblade attacks, Delay's flesh ripped in places when the monster wasn't so lucky in his efforts. Just as he got close to Arin - reaching again for the man's neck, hunger seeping from the yellow circles in his face, he felt a sudden slice across his stomach. The edges of the Keyblades stuck firmly to his form - The crossed blades cut through to the Heartless' underlying structure. Blue-black liquid started to run from the deep wounds. Delay stood, frozen. With an unsteady talon, he touched the guard of Redemption. His arms shook with an almost human frailty. His neck rotated, the dead eyes of the creature half-focussed on Arin. His expression might have implied shock, or maybe anger, or even a lust for revenge. Perhaps if he could show emotion, Delay would have displayed all of these. "Light..." He muttered, the reverberations behind his voice stuttered in the air. "It doesn't have a smell." He hissed, as if the fact annoyed him. The shadow melted, and like a snake made of paper he slithered away. ((No way Delay can beat Arin right now, but they might meet again in another story and hopefully Delay will be stronger.))

((Yes, well Arin may be getting an upgrade in time, so there's no telling if he'll be able to beat him then either xD))
Arin was panting heavily by the time the heartless retreated, finally feeling that the threat was over at last. Fatigue finally settling in, his body flashed briefly as his original appearance returned, Redemption and Heaven's Might reverting to Inner confliction and Remnant's Reawakening, before vanishing as well. As Jason watched Arin collapse to the ground from exhaustion, the armor surrounding his body vanished as well, leaving him as exposed to the elements as he was the first time they met.
