Despite the deepening color of his face, Rand's grin grew as his fiancee quipped back at him. His only reaction to her clothing change was a slight shake of his head, though he did appreciate the outfit. He made sure not to summon Zavilat'a'Aman after watching her dismiss her own keyblade, though he doubted Lucia would attempt to hide it for long, if at all.
He gladly accepted the tray, moving it aside when Conrí approached. As he spoke Rand quickly figured out what he was referring to, and with a wire thin weave of Air replaced the ring in his pocket with a knotted weave imitation. smirking, he pocketed the remarkably well-made ring before returning to eating.
Lucia, Jen, Jason, and Mink paused their discussion as Conrí reentered the room, only to resume it as he started washing dishes. "So you three aren't coming?"
Lucia shook her head slowly. "No, we need to look at the scans of Celderat so we know what we're getting ourselves into."
Jen bobbed her head in agreement. "Yup! Plus we need to figure out what's making all of that grow."
Mink groaned and patiently repeated themselves, clearly not for the first time. "I told you, it's Tamara. She can grow those by singing."
"Yeah, but she's gotta be pulling the energy for that from somewhere. Even Rand couldn't grow things in a wasteland like that!"
Sighing, Jason turned away from the debate and went to help his love, giving him a light peck on the cheek as he did. As he dried what Conrí washed he worked in silence, though he did attempt to project comfort through his aura as he did.

Éirín watched Conrí carefully, and found herself getting dizzy when she noticed he was talking to Rand. She fidgeted with her fingers and looked and listened away from whatever it was they were talking about, as it was none of her business. She focused on eating her food, which brought her some sense of nostalgia, as it was fairly close to meals she used to have on Tir Tairngire.
This nostalgia nearly made the wolf girl cry, because she suddenly wanted to have those times back, and, this mixed with the reality that she was about to face her memories and was dragging everyone else into it. She picked at the puddings, not that they bothered her at all before eventually eating them.
The priestess watched Conrí leave, and then quietly looked at Rand with a question in her eyes, but, she didn't put it into words. She continued eating, and decided to pick on her love. "So, I can quip better than you, given the blush that was on your cheeks."
Conrí heard an update to the plan, in which he, Jason, Rand, and Éirín would go to Castle Oblivion, and the others would go to Calderat. He heard Jason sigh and step up near him. He continued to wash the dishes, and shivered when he felt his love's kiss. He was grateful that the man decided to dry what he had washed.
The wolf boy looked at the crimson eyed man and smiled. He also relaxed when he could feel Jason's aura. "Thank you, my love." He leaned over and kissed Jason's cheek in return.

The food was good, quite good actually, but Rand couldn't help but notice Éirín's hesitation as he sat back down. Quickly eating his own food, he decided to attempt to answer her unspoken question. "He was telling me that the others were nearly ready, and gave a little advice as well." He turned to her with what Mat would describe as his best smile. "And yes, dear, you can."
Jason grinned as his love relaxed, continuing to dry the dishes as the others continued to talk.
"True, but we're not walking into that with only the three of us. Especially since the entire planet is her ally."
"Again, how is she doing that? maybe the legends are true?"
"You mean about the Crystal Core? It's possible I guess."
Mink just stayed quiet, afraid of accidentally telling anything from the future.

Éirín nodded when Rand answered her questioning glance. He still seemed aloof, and his aura swirled with secrecy. She quickly finished her plate, and, continued to watch Rand curiously. She wondered what the man was hiding, but got distracted by him again.
The wolf girl sighed without noticing it, and slowly smiled at him back. "You know, a man who smiles like that usually has exactly one thing on his mind, and, I don't know that I want more for breakfast right now." She winked at Rand and laughed.
Conrí sighed, finally, realising that he was slowing his progress on the dishes on purpose. He finally just stopped, turned to Jason and stepped toward him. The others were still not sure what to do, and, he wasn't sure what he could suggest, if anything.
The wolf boy drew Jason into a flurry of kisses that started to get deeper and more passionate. He kissed deeper until time stood still for a moment. I'm scared. I don't know if I'm ready or not, but, I will at least have you with me. He looked into Jay's eyes after the kiss and nodded. "Shall we go?" He focused all of his will into his aura and pushed out to Éirín. Leaving. Now.

Rand laughed at Éirín's quip, knowing that she could tell he was still hiding something. He didn't mind that. In fact, he preferred it that way, so long as she didn't think that the secret was anything untoward.
A chuckle was still in his voice as he stood with his empty plate in hand. "It's funny you should say that. I learned this smile from a friend who used to be quite the charmer before he accidentally married the Empress of the Seanchan empire." Briefly he wondered if Mat had survived, though with his luck it was likely he was doing just fine somewhere. "Anyhow, we should probably take care of these before leaving, and I'd like to ask Master Lucia a few questions as well."
The Bearers of Light, Twilight, and Duality fell silent with varying expressions of amusement and embarrassment at the display before them. That silence quickly turned to laughter at Jason's expression after Conrí finally had his fill, deepening his blush to the point that his cheeks nearly matched his eyes once again. Jen wolf-whistled before making a quip with a chuckle. "Go where? To the ship or your room?"
It was only then that Jason found his tongue again, smirking at Jen before winking at his love. "The ship, much as I'd prefer the other. Though," his tone turned serious as he turned back to the table, "how are we going to get to Celderat after this? Corridors don't work, and Hunter X is still at large."
That instantly sobered the sisters, who remembered all too well what happened the last time they faced that ship. Even Mink was thoughtful, though only for a moment before they snapped their fingers and looked at their mother and aunt. "We'll need to go with them to Castle Oblivion, but we won't be going in." At their looks of confusion they explained. "I need your help installing a stealth system on the ship. It'll take longer since it won't work in warp, but it should keep us from being detected by any ships, period."
Confusion turned to knowing grins as they nodded, Lucia's voice beaming with pride. "That's an amazing idea, Mink!"

Éirín laughed when Rand told him about his friend. She wondered if she could get the chance to meet him, but, she kept her question to herself. She suddenly looked toward the kitchen and took away Rand's plate with a bit of a cheeky tongue sent in her lover's direction, "Don't get used to this. I amn't a maid. Certainly not your maid. I don't care what titles you have, dearest." She walked to the kitchen, arriving just in time for some decisions to have been made.
The wolf girl washed the dishes and dried them with a burst of air. She smiled at Conrí and nodded with an air of seriousness. She could tell that he had calmed himself down somehow, but was still nervous. She put her hand on her brother's shoulder.
The priestess glanced back at the hall where Rand likely still was. "Oi, hurry your arse up, mo chaorachín. Unless you wanna póg mo thóin." She winked at her brother. And grinned at Jason, who seemed to be recovering from something, but she didn't press anything.
Conrí was thankful his sister came in after all the blushing was done. He nodded solemnly, then just started walking to the hangar, expecting everyone else to follow. He sighed, realised what he was doing, then turned around with an apologetic look on his face. "Sorry, but, I just kind of want to go and have this be over with. No one's allowed to die, okay?" He stared at Jason and looked down at the man's ring in particular when he said that.

Rand simply shook his head with a chuckle before following Éirín into the kitchen, entering just in time to be met with her taunt. His eyebrow rose as he started to follow Conrí, quickly retorting in the Old Tongue to what he assumed she had said. "That eager, min vovokara? Misainae brith mamai ninto nupar."
Mink just rolled their eyes at the pair as they, Lucia, and Jen got up. Lucia quickly waved off her apprentice's apology, clapping him lightly on the shoulder as she approached. "It's fine, Conrí. And don't worry, we Celderatians are a lot harder to kill than most people think."
"Yep," Jen chimed in before heading toward the hangar, "nothing's managed to do it yet! Honestly, if we weren't trying to save this guy this would take like, five minutes tops."
Somehow Mink got to the door before her, opening it in an uncharacteristic display of pride before revealing the ship. "Alright, presenting the Alyson Mark 2! Now with more deflection, speed, weapons, and space."
The ship still resembled its original form, but was nearly twice the size. Six massive engines sat at the back, while the formerly rounded cockpit was now angled, armored glass. The entire ship was constructed out of rounded blocks, other than said cockpit and the numerous cannons and lasers mounted on the underside and either side of the conical nose and wing sections. A ramp led from the side into the middle of the nose, revealing a hallway much larger than even the larger ship should contain.
Acting as a tour guide, Mink started pointing in various directions. "Right, so the kitchen's that way, three sets of two rooms with a bathroom each in those offshoots, the cockpit's up that ladder at the end, and the simulation room is at the other end. And yes," they gave Jason and Conrí a pointed look, "it's been build to not break this time."
Jason gave a relieved sigh at that before turning to smile at his love, finally speaking up again. "I promised to marry you, and I can't do that if I'm dead. I'll live, and I'll fight anything that gets between us and that happy ending. I swear it on my mother's name."

"Daintín caorachín." Éirín wasn't exactly sure what Rand said to her, but, she figured the insult would speak for itself, though she did offer the translation as they walked to the hangar. "Little sheep brat. Though, in truth, I have no idea what you just said, aside from wolf." She thought about sticking out her tongue, but didn't.
While Mink was proudly showing off the ship, the wolf girl simply stared, then chuckled when they added that it wouldn't break this time. She teared up a little when she realised that it was likely their way of reassuring her brother. She did give Rand a look once Jason spoke. There was a hint of a smirk on her face. What, sheep boy? You can't make a promise like that? She tried to send through the bond. She stepped up to the ship and nodded at Mink.
Conrí breathed in and nodded. He smiled at Jen, nodded at Lucia and put a hand on Mink's shoulder. "Thank you, Mink." He hugged them quickly. He tried to not hang onto them too long, because he knew it would make them uncomfortable.
The wolf boy turned when he heard Jason sigh. Concern filled his being. The worry started to grow so much that he nearly rushed over to the man and embraced him with no intention of letting go. Then, he heard his love's words and felt himself fall to his knees. After a minute or two, he felt a hand on his shoulder and looked up to see Éirín. She held out her hand and helped him to his feet. "A ruler does their duty, and, this one will be particularly dark, but thank you for standing with me, shall we go now?" The siblings turned in unison and faced the ship again.

Rand just shook his head and laughed as he followed the others to the hangar, pausing once he did to gape at the machine before him. The only thing he could possibly compare it to was top of the line sho-wings, though even they lacked the array of canons and other weapons before him. With a ship like that, he likely wouldn't have needed a single other person to fight the Last Battle.
Jen laughed at the expression on his face before clapping him on the back. "It's a lot better than any Sea Folk Raker, eh Rand?" Still laughing, she boarded the ship while Lucia giggled at the bemused expression on his face.
"Yeah, thanks to those books we know pretty much everything that happened between you meeting Moiraine Sedai and your funeral. They're on the shelf in my room on the ship if you'd like to read them." Grinning, she followed the others, with Rand following after, grumbling.
"I'll have to take a look at those. It's a decidedly odd feeling, people knowing about your life like this."
Mink just rolled their eyes as everyone boarded, Jason having followed Conrí and Éirín, and closed the ramp before heading toward the ladder. "Aura, set everyone aboard as User Level One privilege please." A moment later the now familiar voice of the A.I. issued from the speakers. "Of course, Mink. Welcome aboard, Users Lucia, Jennifer, Jason, Rand, Conrí, and Éirín."
As they walked away, Rand leaned in and whispered just loud enough for his fiancee to hear. "What I called you was "little wolf of of mine" my fiancee. And what I said after was that I'd kiss your arse later." With a wink he walked after Lucia, speaking up as he did. "I would love to read these books that apparently say so much about my life, Master Lucia."

Éirínn sighed and found the inside of the ship to be kind of spacious for what it was. She heard Rand asking after the books that were apparently based on his life and chuckled a little, but an idea popped into her mind as well. "Do you think we could read them together, Rand?" She looked at Lucia and thought to add, "If that's okay with you, anyway, Lucia. Oh, Rand, didn't you have questions for Master?"
The wolf girl looked at her brother cautiously. She realised that he had just gone quiet and made a point of holding onto Jason's hand tightly. It was then that she noticed the ring on Jason's finger and found herself looking at her finger. A strange sensation came over her.
The priestess jerked her attention back to Rand and flinched and blushed when he informed her of what he said. "I suppose that's fair enough, then." She walked a little bit behind Rand, unsure of what to do for her brother, so she let him be.

Rand smiled at Éirín's question and nodded, just as Lucia turned around and did the same. "That's fine with me, and let's wait for questions till we're in my room, okay?" Spinning again, she lead them down the first offshoot and into the room on the right of the small circle at the end.
Within was all the furnishings and items from within the original Alyson, not that they would know that. Lucia moved confidently through the space, pulling a slightly worn book with leather backing from the shelves and tossing it to Rand. "There you go. That's the first of the fourteen books in the series, though it's actually fifteen if you count the prequel novel that focuses on Moiraine and Lan."
Rand looked around the room with interest, noting the slightly odd aesthetic and design only partially obscuring a bedroom similar to one he would design himself, given the chance. Perhaps he would take less time to acclimate than he thought. "Thank you, Master. I did have some questions, though they mainly concern the Keyblades. Specifically, what they are and what they can do. If that's not overstepping, of course."
Sighing, Lucia sat near the head of the bed and motioned for the other two to sit. "Okay, first off I don't do the formal Master thing. Conrí already knows that, and now you two do as well. As far as I'm concerned, I'm just helping you three to learn about what you can do. As for the Keyblades themselves, I can only tell you what my Master, the Goddess of Chaos Lana, told me. They're mythical weapons forged from hearts, either of people or worlds..."
Jen stared after her sister, then back at Conrí in concern. She nearly said something, but Jason shook his head and gave her a soft smile. Recognizing what that meant, she sighed, stretched, and headed toward the simulation room. "Well, I'm gonna go punch some things till we get there."
Once she was gone, Jason squeezed Conrí's hand and tuned that smile to him. "Come on, lilulf. Let's spend some time relaxing while we can." He headed toward the kitchen, hoping that Mink had simply forgotten to mention a living area rather than include it, and was rewarded by a room nearly twice the size of the one in the base. Three full couches surrounded a large television, with two smaller couches at the other end with a smaller television each. It was to one of those that he walked, though he didn't turn on the screen. Instead, he sat and pulled his love down with him, content to cuddle and be near him for now.
