Jason returned the wolf-king's hug gratefully, needing the comfort to help him take the advice and begin to heal. "Thank you, lilulf. I think I'm ready now." He gave him a gentle kiss before taking his seat.
Once breakfast was finished and the plates put in the dishwasher the trio sat at one end of the table, Jen in the middle of the others looking nearly as upset as the previous night. Lucia sat on her right, touching her left arm unconsciously every few minutes, and Jason on her left, looking slightly better than before but still serious.
Mink hadn't sit down again, and was the first to speak. "I know what you're all about to talk about. I think I'll see you later." Without waiting for a reply the air warped around them for a moment, and then they were gone.
Lucia sighed. "I swear, that kid never sticks around long. Anyhow..." She turned to look at her sister, for once looking to her to take the lead. Jennifer did, taking a deep breath before looking at Conrí and speaking in a soft voice. "Large parts of what has happened over the past month aren't ours to tell, but the things that are affecting us the most are. I think we'd all prefer to answer questions instead of trying to jump around the things we can say."

Conrí managed to get through his breakfast using silverware this time. He waved when Min vanished, and then chuckled at Lucia's comment. "As Fen would say, pups always like to run around. Thing is though, to that wolf, we're all pups, and some of us are more adventurous than others." He winked at Jason, and also immediately wondered what Fen would call Jen, because, from what he'd heard from Jason, "frisky" was a weak descriptor.
The wolf boy also picked up on the weight during the silence. He rested his chin on his left hand, with his elbow on the table. As Jen spoke, he studied her, and did his best not to start tearing up, especially when he learned that his pack had been suffering so much for so long. He took in a breath of his own as silence filled the room. The would be king wondered what question to ask, because his head was buzzing with them, especially since his love admitted to Jen's father-in-law being a seer. Before he asked anything, he slipped out of his chair and very gently hugged Jen. "Deirfiúr...my sister," Conrí leaned back a little to look into her eyes, "You're all hurting, but," he booped Jen's nose playfully, "You're hurting the worst right now." He pulled Jen close, a brother's comforting embrace his aim. "Anything I can do, I will."
The would be king let go of Jen and returned to his seat, nodding at them all. "I only have one question," he said, deciding that making them relive their grief would be more than cruel, "If ye tell me the parts that are affecting ye the most--if ye can--don't burden yourselves with more grief because of me, then where do I go for the answers?" His green eyes lost their usual mirth and turned colder, more determined. "Actually, I lied--two questions: How do I help?"

Jason was the one to answer both of Conrí's questions, after looking at both the others to confirm first. "The place you can get the rest of the story is actually where we were planning on going soon anyhow: New Yuio, where both Jen and Lucia's husbands and Lucia's master are, among other friends. As for how to help, I know I'd feel better if you came with us, and I suspect I'm not the only one."Jen took over then, still serious but smiling just a little from the hug. "But if you do come with us then you need to know the situation, and so we'll tell you what we can." She looked at both oh her original companions, trying to figure out where to start, when Lucia suddenly spoke up. "I suppose we should start at the beginning, when I found myself waking up in a prison cell four years ago..."She went on to explain how she met Riley, Seamus, Zero, and Kai, and how they worked together to find the keys to unlock a sword of unimaginable power, eventually culminating in a fight against a corrupted king turned minor god. "That fight was actually when Jen and Jason met them as well, but it wasn't the last by far."Jason then spoke of his and Jen's fight against Nazo and Shade on this very world. "Things settled down for a little while after that, until Jen convinced me to go to a tournament..." He explained about how the Titans had nearly destroyed the city under the influence of who they now know was Rxokni, before they ended up in Castle Oblivion chasing her. "And you already know about what happened then, thanks to my memories."Jen glanced over to him oddly, then shook her head with a small smile before Lucia took up the tale. "It was a short while after that when I realized a few things, and decided to fix them as best I could, as you've probably noticed by now. Retraining myself kept me busy for the past few years, and Jen and Jason had to take missions to keep the lights on, so to speak. Just over a month ago I finally decided to start pulling my own weight again, and I happened to run into Seamus..."She then spoke of the mission she ans Seamus had undertaken, including how her powers had nearly been lost. Jason joined in during the fight in Agrabah, adding the explanation he gave to Seamus and Winda, and Jen helped once they got to Sugar Rush. Lucia and Jen continued without Jason for the Keyblade Graveyard where Lucia unlocked Requiem of Ascension for the first time. At that point they worked together to continue the tale as they reached New Yuio and forged their current weapons, then they took turns summarizing their individual paths over the next week, with Jen and Riley confessing while Jason and Seamus encountered Riley's granddaughter. They did leave out certain sections, of course, but they did mention that it was around then that Mink and Zane were conceived. Everything up to then had been lighthearted, if stressful, but once Jason returned things took a turn for the worst. "That was when I overheard Alice and Master Lana talking about 'outcomes' and realized what they were talking about." He explained again how he had kept the secret, never knowing who was going to die but knowing it was going to happen just the same. Lucia then spoke again, but for once not with a complete tale. "I took my Mark of Master that day, and with Riley's help succeeded. But we're now entering the parts that he would have to tell you about, so things are going to get a bit less clear. Sometime after my Mark Rxokni finally managed to possess Riley, and in the ensuing fight I lost my arm to his Death Scythe. If it weren't for Jen's emotions somehow corrupting her Light into her Ignited Fury form we'd all be dead now. Even with that, Null got released and we went searching for the Null Gems and Riley's Excalibur to put an end to him."Jen finally rejoined the conversation then, tears beginning to fall. "We won, but the cost was almost too much. Zero and Kai were killed by Riley's brother, and of the five of Riley's wives, I'm the only one left." Her voice broke at the end, collapsing into sobs as her sister held her. Jason looked Conrí in the eyes, pain and grief reflected in his. "We're broken right now, but eventually we'll rebuild ourselves. You've helped me start already. But I want you to know that I'll understand if this is too much for you. Our current plan is to stay here for another day or so, then return to New Yuio and pick up the pieces. Will you come with us? I want to give you the choice."

Conrí leaned in and actively listened to everything the trio said. At the end of everything, the wolf boy sighed heavily. He finally felt tears of empathy streaking down his face. He took a second to clear his throat and wipe his eyes. He looked at them all and nodded, but the weight still hung heavily around him. One day. That might be enough, but, I need to discuss it with Lucia. What they've been facing makes what my bad wolf form was look like a cute pup in comparison.
"Jay, my a stór, I'd go down to the depths of hell fighting if you needed me to." The would be king was a bit surprised by the level of serious sincerity in his voice. His gaze fell to Jen next. "Deirfiúr, if you needed me to return the light to your eyes, I'd find a way to bring Lugus's down from the heavens for you." Finally, Conrí's eyes met Lucia's. "Lucia, as your apprentice, I will follow wherever you lead." As he said this, the wolf boy rose and bowed.
Satisfied, he settled back into his chair for a moment. "If I'm going with ye, then, Lucia, may we go to the forge? I feel it's time for me to reforge Claiomh Solais, and maybe suit up in some armor. I'll work on the pieces with my own hands if you wish, but, I don't want to want to walk into a possible rebuilding mission unprepared." The wolf boy waited to hear their response.

Each of the three smiled at least a little as Conrí spoke to them, Jen's sobbing slowly ebbing as she rushed over to hug him tightly for a moment. Lucia rose from the table as well, followed by Jason after a glance between them. "I think I speak for all of us in saying that we agree with everything you said, and would do the same for you. As for armor and reforging Claiomh Solais, I'd be happy to help you." She looked at the other two, Jen having finally stopped crying again. "I'll need your help though, and I'll need that."
Both Jason and Jen's eyes widened as they realized what she meant. "You mean the failed armor? I really don't want that to happen to him." Jen actually stepped between Conrí and Lucia a little. "Yeah, the last time you tried that it nearly killed you!"
Lucia waited until they were done, then looked at Conrí and explained in a calm tone. "That is a failed attempt at a self transforming suit of armor made of overlapping plates of an Orichalcum-Sky Iron alloy I attempted five years ago. When I tried it on I was nearly killed by spikes of metal as it shifted. But," she shifted her gaze to the others, "that was before I learned the secrets of Soul-Forging, and if I smelt the alloy back down and add Mythril to the mix, then I'm sure it will work this time. It'll be a similar design to when we modified Riley's armor, only using plate instead of variable hardness cloth."
Jason nodded hesitantly before looking at his love again. "What she's saying makes sense, and the end result should be able to shift to any form you have. Do you want to try it?"

Conrí listened to the back and forth for a bit, surprised that Jen actually stepped between him and Lucia. He then became really scared when Jason said he didn't want his love to die from armor. He chuckled nervously, wondering just what the hell kind of pack he had placed himself in, but then, he also realised he didn't know what he was doing either, and, everyone here accepted him in spite of it. Still, the wolf boy rubbed his neck a little.
Lucia quickly went into some explanation of metals, that Conrí partially understood, but, the finer points were lost on him a bit. Still, his love decided that it made sense to him, and explained the end result simply enough. Such an armor seemed like it would suit his needs in a serious battle just fine. Conrí nodded, hesitant at first, then more sure of himself. "Yes, please. It sounds like a suitable armor for my fighting style, and, that's always been something of a challenge to pull off. I trust your direction, master." The would be king smiled a bit. "I didn't mean that like 'my master' I meant it more like 'master smith'."

Lucia nodded with a more confident smile than before, heading to the smithy with the other two following. Once there she pressed a hidden switch in the wall nearest the door, and the room came to life. Magical flames danced in the forges, both closed tube and open firebox, and the smelter in the back, while hidden fans drew the heat up away from the floor, keeping the room only slightly above the rest of the house.
The first thing Lucia did was open a hidden compartment in the floor containing a small box, carefully placing it on a large work table before unlocking it with her keyblade. Within were a dozen padded compartments, seven of which contained what appeared to be one inch across faceted crystal marbles, clear as the purest water but with a sheen of brilliant light that blazed when the light hit them.
Lucia grabbed a pair of nearby gloves and pulled them on before carefully pulling two of the crystals out, turning them over to reveal a single hole in the bottom of each, leading into a hollow center. "These are Soul Shards. If you fill that hole with your blood I can use it to create a synthetic copy of your essence, which can then be combined with a weapon or armor to make it Soul-Forged."

Conrí followed everyone into the forge, and suddenly felt more at home when it roared to life with magic flames. He could tell that Lucia really cared about her craft. When she explained about making the Soul-Forged vehicle, the wolf boy's mouth dropped open. "Something like this...if it even happened on my world, would have only been known by the highest druid master, and, even then, it would have taken years to even make one weapon that worked." Conrí began to wonder if these people were actually more like mages and just didn't mention it.
He carefully grabbed the crystals, and drew Claiomh Solais. He winced slightly as he kept the blade on the anvil and pricked his finger on the tip of the weapon. Once the crystals were full, he handed them back to Lucia. "What's next?" The would be king's eyes shone with excitement at the possibility to work on his own weaponry with his master.

A few seconds after he handed the crystals back they began to glow brilliantly, shifting through all the colors before settling on a particular combination that Lucia knew was identical to her apprentice's aura, down to the tiniest fluctuations. "these may be the last Soul Shards in existence, actually. I have yet to be able to replicate them through artificial means, and the originals were created using a ritual to crystallize a Celderatian's Soul. They were all volunteers nearing the end of their lives, in case you were worried. The process requires it. As for what now," she nodded at Jason as Jennifer grabbed three ingots of pure Mythril. and put them next to the crystals.
Jason opened a Corridor vertically, allowing a mass of black metal plates to fall through, several with a brownish rust still on them. Rather than touch the pile he used a Dark Graviga spell to compress it, the black and purple mists within crumpling the alloy together and nullifying the enchantments within. "Wish I'd had that spell years ago. Here you go, Lucia."
As the spell ended she picked up the mass with her left hand and the ingots with her right, using her Twilight Augmentation to handle so much metal at once. Both hands' contents went into the smelter, the heat roaring for a moment before she shut the door again and returned to the anvil. "Right, now that that's melting down we can focus on Claiomh Solais. Do you have any ideas, or are we doing this in the dark like I did?" She was tempted to do it the second way anyhow, but it might be a bit too traumatic for him.

Conrí felt some sort of anticipation when the crystals started to glow with something he sensed may have been his aura. He also listened closely to what Lucia was saying about the Soul Crystals themselves, and put a thumb to his chin. "I'm not saying this will work, but, if Tir Tairngire is out there somewhere, it might be possible to resurrect some of the technique. There's ancient magic there that honestly seems to be closely related to your technology. Jay and I have things we want to do to bring my land into the modern age, but, I'm working out the pros and cons, still. That's assuming I can even find the place. I'll not have a land turned against its king because of who he loves." The would be king actually sounded more like a king, and was surprised that he wasn't blushing.
When Lucia asked him about Claiomh Solais, he closed his eyes. "I've seen this blade when I've meditated on it many times. I've asked it what it wants to become, and, it has answered that it wants to be a key." Conrí looked at Lucia and a touch of a smile appeared on his lips, "I assume it means it wants to be like Lugus, except, it also gave me the feeling of love and hate contained within it. The two things that are sometimes the same and always warring. It fits what the blade is supposed to do." He wondered if they would be shocked about his knowledge of the weapon, but, to him, this was common practice. No magical weapon was made in his land without asking it what it wanted to be, and, the druids made sure he learned that lesson when he crafted his first wand.

The trio shared a look before Jason spoke. "I'm... not sure you quite understand, lilulf. We know how to make more, but each crystal is a Celderatian's soul, and the process kills the volunteer. Also, it needs an elderly Celderatian's soul, one that has almost no trace of its Element left..."
He trailed off, unsure of how to continue before Lucia took over. "The way we age is different than most. Instead of our bodies growing weaker, our souls do. Each time a Celderatian nearly exhausts their soul's power they lose a little more of their ability to reabsorb their Element, eventually leading to them becoming what we consider elderly and then, when they can no longer store any at all, dying."
Jennifer of all people took over next. "But we've been a bit weird since we left our world and learned to use the Light and Darkness from the Realm at large instead of just our world. Because those are infinite out here we never exhaust our souls, so they never get smaller. Basically, we don't age. At all."
She giggled nervously as she waited for Conrí's reaction, a little afraid that he'd run off after all after that. Even Jason looked a bit sheepish, embarrassed that he hadn't brought it up yet. Only Lucia seemed unfazed, though inside she too was a little nervous as she set aside one of the crystals and placed the other one next to Claiomh Solais. She reached for a set of tongs and a hammer that appeared to be made entirely of crystal before setting those down as well. "I know of only one way to help it become a keyblade, and you probably won't like it. It'll work though, and the first step regardless is to heat it and integrate the Soul Shard into the blade just above the guard."

Conrí's eyes locked with Jason's for a full minute when everyone had finally explained themselves. His heart started beating quickly, but not out of the usual feelings others would have. After all, he knew that there was a realm beyond this one, and, the dead often stayed with their loved ones in some capacity. Fenrir had explained that he was an ancestor of Conrí's, and, if he should show great promise to lead the next king in the matters of the spiritual realms, Lugus would grant him the ability to become a wolf spirit. For the first time, the wolf boy wondered if he would be able to beseech Lugus and defy death. "A stór," he licked his lips slowly, "Know that I'll never leave you alone. When I die, if Lugus refuses to bring me back to this realm, I will likely become a wolf spirit, like Fenrir, and, I'll bind myself to ye." He laughed a little, then said, half in jest, "Unless my pack is crazy enough to defy fate itself."
When Lucia turned his focus back to Claiomh Solais, the would be king nodded slowly. "No king has done this before. The cycle has been going on far too long, and, it's time my people stop losing their minds the first time they give into their darker tendencies." Conrí grinned a bit. "I'll face what the sword is asking me. That's how magic weapons are made, anyway."

Conrí's words made the admission worth all the pain and worry for Jason, who quickly moved to hug his love while smiling brighter than he ever had before. "I'll hold you to that elksan mín, if we don't find another way to make you like us before then." The scene brought tears of mixed origins to Jennifer's eyes, being happy for her best friend yet reminded of her loss all at once.
Lucia had no time for any of that, though her smile proved she was happy as well. Once Conrí turned back to her she pointed at the spot just above the guard she had been referring to. "Alright, we need to get this spot up to a yellow heat in the open firebox over there. Try to put it in the flame near the corner, so that only those few inches get hot, then use the power hammer," she pointed to it, a large press looking machine with a foot pedal, "to drift the hole in the center. The dye is already in the hammer, so all you need to do is put it in and turn it on. We're going to pour the alloy for the armor while you do that, but please take it slow. Even if you have some experience with smithing that power hammer takes some getting used to."
She, Jason, and Jennifer all headed toward the smelter, the latter two opening a compartment at the base while Lucia carefully retrieved the crucible with another set of widely rounded tongs and began to slowly pour the molten metal in. Once it was all there the second Soul Shard was also added, the aura contained within spreading into what would become armor. Jen then used a Hastega spell to speed up the setting time, allowing the alloy to cool to a workable temperature in minutes rather than hours, and the three turned back to see how Conrí had done in the past fifteen minutes or so.

Conrí nodded, careful to follow Lucia's instructions to the letter. He had some idea of what he was doing, but, the power hammer both fascinated him and scared him. He stared at the machine for a second, then looked back at the others, and felt like he was going to be very outpaced. He thought back to when Jason hugged him a few moments ago, and that gave him the peace to take the first step.
The wolf boy kept his eye on the blade, occasionally asking it questions as he went along. As things started to feel like he was doing the right thing, the blade seemed to be resonating with his guidance. Satisfied, he wiped his brow and turned, only to see the trio looking at him. His sweat instantly replaced with claminess, and, he chuckled a little. "I thought it'd take ye longer."

Jennifer gave Conrí a small grin as Lucia walked over to look at the blade. "Time magic speeds things up a lot. But the work's still to come, since it's just a big lump right now." Her smile slipped for a second before she turned and busied herself with gathering four aprons and two more pairs of gloves.
Lucia took one look at his work and smiled again at the skill. "Good job Conrí! Not many people can get the hang of a power hammer their first try. Now we can insert the Soul Shard." She brought the modified blade back to the anvil, careful to place the heated section as fully on the anvil as possible before dropping the first Soul Shard into the hole.
The instant that the crystal touched the heated metal it flowed into it, sealing the hole and coating the blade in a thin layer of crystal that quickly sank in. Once it merged fully the blade seemed to resonate with Conrí's aura, making Lucia smile even more. "Step one is done. Pick it up and see how it feels; it's already cooled again. If it resonates like it's part of your heart and soul now we can move on to Step 2."
Jason looked on from behind him, slightly worried. He'd never liked Step 2 much.

Conrí grinned a bit when Lucia remarked on his skill with the power hammer. She took the blade from him, and attached the first Soul Crystal's contents to the blade. Lucia then asked Conrí to pick up the sword. Claiomh Solais seemed to sing to him, and the blade seemed to lock to his hand almost.
The would be king nodded, then saw Jason's face, and started to hesitate. Finally, he bowed slightly. "I think I am ready, Lucia."

Lucia looked for herself as Conrí held the blade, checking the resonance and energy flow between them. Once she was satisfied as well she backed up and nodded to Jason, who sighed. "Elskan mín, before this happens I want you to know I didn't want to. I'm sorry."
With one fluid motion, he grabbed the crystal hammer and slammed it into Claiomh Solais, and the blade shattered like glass.
Once the pieces fell Lucia stepped forward again, tone gentle as she gave her apprentice the details for the next step. "Claiomh Solais is now gone. What remains are the fragments of what was, still calling to you. Every keyblade forged by it's wielder was created out of strong emotion, and your new keyblade will not be an exception. You mentioned love and hate, right? Use those to call to your Soul within the shards, and pull them together into a new form. Let your Heart guide both it and you to become stronger together." Her eyes glowed with the intensity of her feelings as she tried to impart her knowledge to him, even as Jason and Jennifer looked away, one in shame and the other lost in memories.

Conrí gave Jason a puzzled look, and then his eyes widened once everything fell into place and he saw the hammer moving to Claiomh Solais. He instinctively reached out to the blade, but it shattered, leaving behind dust and fragments. The wolf boy felt his knees slam into the floor, and couldn't even wince from the sudden pain. As Lucia spoke, he nodded solemnly, not really listening or aware of what was going on. Instinctively, he called out to Fenrir, and was relieved to feel the wolf's presence.
The would be king studied the remains of Claiomh Solais, before raising his gaze to look at Jason, who, was looking away in shame, and Conrí could feel his love's regret. He lowered his gaze back to the remains, and, thought he saw the tiniest orb of light come from the pile and enter his heart. The anger against Jason's sudden actions vanished, and, he felt more light enter his heart. The wolf boy closed his eyes and steadied his breathing. This part of the step seemed to be reminiscent of imbuing weapons with the magical essence of a place or person.
Conrí allowed himself to be taken to the place where he had last seen Claiomh Solais in his heart. As he suspected, the sword's stone was empty, and the platform beneath him was gray, but there was a small mass of light gathered there. Love. The would be king focused hard on this feeling, and felt the place shift around him. He sensed Jason, Lucia, Jen, and Fenrir, and watched them appear as portraits in a section of his platform, which took the shape of a white teardrop. Jason was at the center of this teardrop, with Fen behind him, resting his head on the crimson eyed one's shoulder. Lucia was on Fen's right side, with Jen behind her. Once the image was complete, the would be king saw a pure white hilt sticking out of the stone. A keychain with a red hand on it shocked him a little, but, he could sense that the blade wasn't fully there.
Conrí shuddered, knowing what needed to happen next, but, not wanting it to. A deep breath echoed in the otherwise still place. Hate. The would be king winced as he felt the darkness creep into the place and try to drown out the light of the other side of his platform. The Darkness, oddly, stopped at the stone, and formed a black teardrop that would have otherwise interlocked with the white one. Pain spread throughout Conrí's body, and, to his regret, the image began to take form. A rough, grizzled man with an eye patch and scars took up the center of the black teardrop. Behind that man was a jet black wolf with golden eyes resting his head on the man's shoulder. The beast-like rage and darkness seemed to gather and flow into the stone. The would be king thought he heard the sword whispering to him, so, he stepped forward.
Gently, but with a level of confidence, he gripped the sword's hilt and pulled. As if responding, the blade slipped out from the stone with little problem. The hilt was pure white, but the guard was made up of two teardrops, like the ones on his platform. Conrí shuddered at the raw power flowing from the hilt. Intense light was kept there, at least up to the forte, where the pure white tapered off into a sharp point. Past the tip of that point, a shade of pure onyx greeted Conrí's eyes, which covered to the tip of the blade and flowed into the upper half of the key's design, which was a black wolf curled up into a teardrop. The black wolf seemed to have a peridot eye, and he was clearly biting at the bottom half of the key's design. The black wolf looked like it was about to eat the tail of a pure white wolf, who was curled into a white teardrop. The white wolf had a sapphire eye and was likewise biting at the black wolf's tail.
As suspected, it was still vying with the darkness, but, not for control this time. A small smile appeared on Conrí's lips. The sword seemed to mimic the feeling he felt within him. There was one last thing, though, and the wolf boy nodded. "Blade that once was cruelly used, you have asked me to reforge you into your true form. There is but one thing I have left to ask of you, not as your master, but, as your equal." Even Conrí knew when to not push his luck with his own weapons. "Cad is ainm duit?" Why he had asked in the language of Tir Tairngire what the blade's name was, Conrí didn't know, but, after a moment, there was a soft whisper that seemed to fill the would be king's entire being. The wolf boy smiled, and then suddenly snapped his eyes open, to find himself in the forge again. The room felt like it was spinning slightly, so, Conrí focused on grounding himself in the reality of the space.
The first thing Conrí did once he had his bearings was look at Jason and smile. "A stór, stop your frowning. Ye did that to make me stronger. Ye'll find no resentment in this heart for that." The would be king rose to his feet, and nodded at Jen and Lucia. "Deifiúr, Master, thank you." He held out his hand and thought about the new blade. It felt a bit slippery to pull out into reality, like it had with Lugus before his Dive, but, the blade soon took a familiar weight in his hand. He saw that the blade had appeared in a flash of gray light, as opposed to the usual pure light he'd seen with Lugus. "Meet Cúchulainn," Conrí held the blade out for the others to admire, happy with the job he'd done.

Conrí's reassurance helped pull Jason back to a better place, smiling once more as he moved to hug his love. "Thank you for understanding, elskan mín." Lucia beamed at her apprentice proudly as she sensed the power of the new blade. "The process had to be a surprise, or you might have affected it somehow. But now we know for sure that you are a wielder of balance."
Even Jennifer came back to the present to look at the blade, responding to her sister's comment with an excited clap. "It's a good thing you're coming with us then! You'll be able to train with the 3 best balancers I know!" The comment made Lucia blush slightly, knowing that one of those three was her. "Anyhow, it's nice to meet you finally Cúchulainn. Conrí, are you ready to make the armor?"

Conrí nodded at Jason, resisting the urge to embrace him. There would be time for that later. Seeing Lucia's pride made the wolf boy grin wider than he liked, but, he really couldn't control his face too well. When Lucia mentioned being a balancer, he immediately lost the grin and assumed a serious face. "The process was interesting, to say the least." He thought back to the platform and how it took form. Sighing, he walked up to Lucia, and placed her hand on his shoulder. "You went down there once. I want to know if you can see what I made." He closed his eyes and found himself standing on the platform where he had watched Cúchulainn form. When he'd stood there for a moment or two, he was satisfied, and then returned.
The wolf boy looked at Jen when she mentioned that he would be able to train with three balancers, and he cocked his head to the side in some confusion. "Balancer?" Immediately, Fen started filling his mind with images, legends, and songs. The would be king very quickly pieced together that he was someone much more than the next king, but, he also didn't know if this meant he'd receive Lugus's favour or not, when it was all said and done. "Apparently, the equivalent, according to Fen, only ever appeared in ancient legends."
When asked if he was ready to work on the armor, Conrí nodded. He admittedly flashed a look at Jason that he thought would be showing off some of his smolder and passion. He was curious if his love would pick up on the hint. After all, he reasoned, if they weren't leaving until tomorrow, then, that meant the would be king might be able to enjoy his love's company some more. He let his gaze linger for a second before turning to face his next task.
