Rand's blush roughly doubled as his gaze followed Éirín's dash, her pose and state of undress leaving nothing to the imagination. He instinctively looked away for a moment before regaining control, quickly moving both himself and the chair to just outside the door before replying to her with a grin. "A challenge, eh? Very well then."
The chair returned to its original place as he stood again. "To make this fair I'll do two things. One, you can have a ten minute head start. Two, I'll only use by abilities to match your speed and agility." He pointed to the far horizon, where a mountain taller than the others surrounding the valley stood. "Just don't go to that mountain please. I'd rather not have to extract you from that nightmare a second time."

Éirín nodded slowly, listening to Rand's rules. She had noticed the blush on his face, and the way he'd forced himself to look away, so she didn't ask for her clothes back. An amused smile spread over her face, which vanished when he mentioned the nightmare, and a visible shudder moved through her.
The wolf girl nodded, though, and lowered herself closer to the ground, putting power in her hind legs before she leapt off the porch with an excited force. Ten minutes wasn't much time, but, she devised a plan.
The priestess spotted an area of the field that was brilliantly pink and gold, so she ran for there. Her mouth splitting into a smile. It was as simple as running through the stream down to that place.
Éirín felt like her legs were barely touching the ground as she pushed herself to go faster. As she came to the area, she noticed that the ground was blanketed with pink blossom petals and golden lilies.
The wolf girl took a moment to marvel at the place, then decided on a place to hide. Her plan was simple enough -- allow Rand to approach and then slip past again. She waited in still silence.

As Éirín darted off Rand noted the direction before creating a lit pipe with enough in it to burn for ten minutes. True to his word he refrained from sensing her location through the Dreamshard, instead choosing to relax and puff contentedly.
When the pipe was finished it vanished, and he stepped off the porch with a casual strolling gait. The grass was easy to track through for anyone raised in the Two Rivers, let alone Rand, who often placed in the top three at tracking in the Beltane competitions. Soon he came to the stream, pausing for a moment to be certain she simply crossed before continuing to follow her trail with a smirk.
A few minutes later he arrived at the edge of the grove, small piles of petals clearly marking where steps had disturbed them straight to what he assumed was her hiding spot. Rather than approach, he walked around the trees as he masked his intent with the Void. Using every scrap of what his father had taught him he silently crept behind the spot, quiet enough that even a rabbit wouldn't have noticed.
If he came within arm's reach without being detected, Rand would jump on and grab her, thus ending the challenge. If he was detected, then he would instantly shift to chasing after her instead. Either way, he didn't intend to let her out of his sight again.

Éirín stilled herself. Quieted her breath. She forced herself to sit down and relax. If she could manage to focus herself in on everything around her, then, she just might have a chance of eluding Rand. Every rustle of the falling petals made her ears twitch. Her nostrils filled with different kinds of scents, but, not one of them was Rand's. She asked herself if she wanted to be caught here, or if she really wanted to keep being chased. Twice now, the man had indulged her, and the beauty of the place would likely make her more distracted with him.
It's almost as if you want to be taken down and utterly placed under his control. The thought caused a chill to fill her, followed by the usual fiery feeling of a blush, because the wolf girl wasn't sure she minded that idea the more she entertained the thought. Suddenly, a scent came to her, and she recognised it instantly. It filled her with intrigue, serenity, and desire. But, she was rather puzzled as to how the man had managed to get so close without her noticing. Then again, she ashamedly observed, she had done a poor job of covering her tracks. Still, if she waited one second more, he'd catch her, and the game would be done. She bolted from her hiding spot straight for a while, before darting off to the right to try and cut back around and through the field of flowering trees again.
The priestess wondered if it was going to work, or if he was just going to catch her anyway. She wiggled her tail up a little higher than normal, hoping that he would at least stumble a little. She thought about teasing him with words, but, the chase was much too thrilling for her at this moment to let her cheekiness get in the way.

Had Rand not been wrapped in the Void he would have cursed as he chased after Éirín. He had forgotten about scent, after utilizing all of his training, and she had smelled him. Thankfully the open area offered clear sight as they ran, though she was little more than two feet ahead as he matched her foot for foot across the field. He actually did curse mentally when he realized that his terms meant they could run for hours and he would be exactly the same distance behind.
Then she cut to the right.
Deep in the Void Rand didn't think or react. He simply knew that his body would move to the side. His arm shot out, and with the closed distance from the turn he was able to reach her right ankle. Instantly he grasped it, keeping his momentum as he pulled her into him and smoothed and softened the ground beneath and ahead of them as they inevitably slid to a stop.
When they stopped he was over top of her, his hands now holding her wrists as he straddled her with a grin, the Void gone. "It seems I've won, aada'don."

Éirín cursed herself for her initial thought to turn, because Rand was quickly at her feet. His hand gripped her ankle, and she yipped out of surprise, not pain. She felt herself being pulled into his grasp, and, surprisingly, didn't even try to fight it. She just decided to let it go and accept that fact that she'd lost. She tried to catch her breath a bit, but, her gaze into Rand's eyes and then at her wrists left her trembling and warming under his touch and weight. Her eyes instantly widened, and her pupils dilated a bit.
Quickly, the wolf girl averted her gaze and struggled a little against the man's grip, but, her wandering thoughts as to how pleasurable the position in which she found herself in was, caused her to whimper and moan a little. Her gaze flicked back to Rand's eyes. A fire was in them once more, it seemed, despite her body relaxing. "You may have won fairly, but...whether you have control here or not...don't expect me to suddenly turn into a submissive lap dog, chuisle."
Despite her words, the priestess thought there might have been something in her tone or her lingering gaze on Rand's hands that betrayed her. She swallowed suddenly, remembering just how many tongues had been stuck out at Rand. Desire mixed and clashed with intrigue and a little bit of worry. She was certain that Rand was watching her closely enough that he'd notice well before she said anything, so, she didn't bring up the tongues.
Éirín did, however, bring up a cheeky quip. "Well, then, I guess the farm boy proves to be a capable hunter as well, but, tell me this, Rand, my dear one. How do you intend to take your prize now that you've caught it?" She was honestly hoping to get one last blush out of him before she faced her fate.

While Éirín seemed to be honoring the terms of the challenge, Rand decided that he simply didn't want to chase her anymore. Under his breath he began humming, and the ground responded. Small, oddly blue vines, supple yet hard as steel quickly sprouted and encased her wrists, ankles, and waist as he let go. His grin grew as they actually lifted the woman off the ground to waist height, holding her suspended for a moment before a bed appeared beneath her.
Immediately he joined her on the bed, straddling her once more before kissing her fiercely. A moment later he pulled back and looked her in the eyes, his tone what could only be called sultry. "How do I intend to take you? Every way that I wish, now that you're mine." His right hand lightly rubbed her ear as his left slowly traced its way down her body, lightly brushing against a peak before resting beneath her hips. His lips weren't idle either, finding the side of her neck and sucking lightly.

When his wrists started to let go, Éirín actually made a grab for his hands. She had no intention of moving from the spot where she lay. When vines sprung up around her wrists, then ankles and waist, she audibly shivered. Still, she didn't see the point in struggling. Or, perhaps she didn't actually want to struggle. After all, she'd had her chance with her exhilarating chase and lost fairly. Her eyes did widen a bit when the vines lifted her off the ground before lowering her onto a proper bed.
The wolf girl watched Rand extremely closely. His stance was confident, and his eyes seemed poised, but kind, though his aura oozed out a sense of love, accomplishment, and certainty. By the time he straddled her again, she was already spinning with eagerness and anticipation. The kiss that nearly consumed her, to the point she hadn't even realised she had been touching his tongue with hers, nearly answered the question she'd asked.
If the priestess had any further doubts, Rand quickly cleared them up for her. His gaze locked with hers, and it was like getting pulled into a whirlpool. She noticed her flesh breaking out into goosebumps, despite the brilliant blush that covered her from head to toe. She felt warm, and then tingly, which only intensified when she heard what the man on top of her had said. At this, her head started to tip upwards, and a whimper echoed through the plains. "Please," she barely managed to whisper before a small yip escaped her from the shock of having her ear touched.
The sensation after the shock caused her body to move the way it had before, though, something that caused her to blush more. His right hand definitely caused her to squeak, but, it was drowned out, hopefully, by the panting and shudders and light whines of pleasure that were in response to his lips sucking at her neck. Éirín focused on Rand with her aura as much as she could, hoping, in some way, in addition to the more obvious signs, he would be able to feel what she wanted, too. "Rand," she whispered breathily, "I hope I'm not disappointing you, but the binding makes it...difficult to do much." She very quickly added, "Please don't remove it. I like this. I just...want you..."
What she said clicked about a full minute later, and the wolf girl blushed heavily. "I mean, I do want that, but, I meant to say that...I wanted you to know that...this feels good." The last three words had come out in such a soft whisper that the priestess wondered if Rand would hear them or not.

{Remainder of the previous scene censored due to content}
A few hours after he had closed his eyes Rand woke, still in his tent, and still holding Éirín. A dull soreness appeared in his hips as he shifted slightly, bringing back memories of what had happened within the Dreamshard. He smiled gently down at the woman sleeping in his arms, relishing the contact in a way he wouldn't have thought possible hours before.
A few weaves of Fire and Air rekindled the campfire and set a kettle boiling for tea, all without disturbing the woman who captivated him in so many ways. His voice was nothing more than a whisper as he kissed her forehead softly. "Dyumi sora, ye mashi asa, dival a raya cuebiyar." A different tongue, but the same words and feelings.

Éirín had wandered back into her dream for a moment. The nightmare was gone, which she was grateful for. Whenever she moved, she fought back a wince. She found herself staring at Éiriú, who did not look pleased with her pupil. "I thought you were in trouble! There are things even goddesses don't want to know about their pupils." With a flick of her wrist, Éiriú shoved Éirín out of her own dream, which led to a flash of those green eyes again.
All of this caused the wolf girl to stir against Rand's chest. She murmured something that sounded like an apology to her goddess and then shuddered, despite the warmth. Suddenly, right after Rand's whisper, she jolted awake from the whistling kettle. "Rand, I'm sorry, I--" Her eyes went wide as what she had let out of her mouth clicked into place. A deep blush formed on her face, and the soreness in her own hips nearly caused her to wince.
The priestess looked at the man underneath her and smiled softly. Her lips touched his softly. "Good morning, my love. Thank you for last night. I doubt I'm forgetting that anytime soon. And for putting the kettle on." She ran a hand along his chest, then remembered what she had heard him whisper. "Táim i ngrá leat, mo chuisle mo chroí, mo bhuachaill aisling." Éirín kissed Rand again and ran a hand through the red hair she loved so much.
Hunger gripped her suddenly, and the wolf girl grinned sheepishly. "Should I be getting breakfast, then, farm boy?"

Éirín's reaction to the kettle was amusing enough to make him forget about her muttered apology and chuckle instead. He didn't fail to notice her reaction to movement though, and a small amount of guilt welled up within him. He pushed it aside as she smiled and gently kissed him. After all, such things were for after they got up.
He did pull the kettle off the fire and add the tea to it -still without moving- even as he returned her smile with a larger one of his own. "Good morning, shade of my heart. Do you want help with that soreness before we start cooking?" Such things may be for after getting up, but if he could save her some discomfort he would.

Éirín's blush deepened a bit, but, she shook her head, and the light in her eyes meant that she wasn't just being stubborn about the pain. "No, I don't want you to Heal me, because, I want to remember everything. Even this part of it, and, you don't have to feel guilty." She took a moment and found herself snuggling back down to his chest and breathed in his scent. "I won't ever forget this scent, Rand."
The wolf girl wrapped her arms around him, and then looked into his eyes. Where placid blue-grey usually were, icy mint green had replaced them. Rather than go into a panic, she steadied herself and yawned a little, as a way to try to hide her shock. She knew she had to tell him, but, she also just didn't know how. What made it harder was the fact that she knew that he knew about her nightmare. She sighed, then cleared her throat.
It was just a dream, silly girl. Just a silly dream. And, it got traded for a much better dream, at that. The priestess shook her head. "Sorry, dear. I'm just...recovering from that a little still. Do we really have to leave the bed?" A cheeky smirk spread across her face, and she stuck her tongue out at Rand.
Before she could do much more, her stomach roared out in protest. Éirín found herself laughing lightly at the situation. "Well, farm boy, it seems ya kept me a bit too active." She winked playfully before kissing him again. She really didn't mind the closeness that she felt with Rand now, and tried to put it out of her mind just how quickly everything had happened. The wolf girl gave the book a cautious glance, as though Lucia and Sky might come popping out of it at any moment. So, what do we tell them? There's no sense in trying to hide it from Lucia, but...I wouldn't mind making Sky guess for a while. Her stomach gave out its second protest to staying in bed, and, she sighed.

Rand instantly heard the hesitation in her voice, and coupled with the odd reaction to his eyes just moments before he was certain that something was bothering her. He suspected he knew what it was as well, even as she laughed at her stomach. The sound was infectious enough that he still found himself chuckling along with her, but he remembered and would be addressing the issue once the food began to cook.
As if the thought of food had been a trigger, his own stomach began to rumble loudly. "Hmm, I suppose we do need to eat. How does bangers and fried eggs sound to you?" As he spoke he sat up, gently pulling her up as well, and began prepping for the cooking with Air. He was fairly certain he also had oats for porridge, but he doubted that she would be as interested in that, and he would be eating what he offered regardless.

Éirín's stomach gave out a third rumble that followed Rand's. She chuckled again, and was relieved that he had started prepping for cooking. "Bangers and eggs sounds perfect. Do we have potatoes for mash, or, is that too much?" Talking about cooking was certainly easier for her than talking about whatever it was Rand seemed to want to talk about. She forced back a sigh, and then started to walk over to the area her love was preparing to cook at.
The wolf girl used magic to wash her hands before she clapped them together and got a determined look on her face. Without thinking, she filled two cups with tea and a spoonful of honey and floated the cups out to where they were to be cooking. She looked around her for a bit, and then turned to look at Rand. His hair seemed to stick up here and there, but, it made her smile at him sweetly. "Guess I could have asked what you wanted me to do to help. Perhaps I owe you a kiss as an apology, a stór."
"Also, what did you whisper earlier, right as we were waking?"

As Éirín got up and prepared to cook Rand did the same, amazed at how similar their preferences were. A few potatoes floated across the tent before being washed in a bubble of Water and dropped onto the table he used as a counter, ready to be diced and placed into the pot that soon followed. A few weaves of Earth built a makeshift stove out of the local stone directly over the fire as he came up behind her with a grin and kissed her neck.
"Well, I'll just take this then. As for what you can do, it's your choice between the potatoes or the bangers and eggs." As he waited for her to decide he thought about how to breach the topic of her dream, but got distracted by her next question. "Dyumi sora, ye mashi asa, dival a raya cuebiyar." It's exactly what I said before we woke, but in the Old Tongue. By my life, I love you, Light of my heart. I can break it down to the words if you like."

Éirín shuddered when Rand kissed her neck. It was kind of like the dream all over again. So, to test whether or not she was actually awake, she, instead of kissing her love back, pinched his backside and winked. "You were starting to remind me of that dream, dearest." She kept her tone light and playful, but fully expected some kind of retaliation from him.
The wolf girl nodded when she heard her options and quietly started to get to work on the sausages and eggs. It was a simple enough breakfast, but, with the way her stomach was loudly protesting its emptiness, she was glad that it wouldn't take too long to throw together. As she worked, her mind wandered back to the nightmare again, and she found her back going ridged and her head shaking slightly. She really wasn't ready to face what she likely already considered as a possibility.
When Rand translated what he'd said to her when they'd woken up, she couldn't help but turn and stare at him, with her mouth slightly open. "Well, I suppose that is a fine way to wake up in the morning, mo chroí. And, yes, I'd love to have a first lesson in the Old Tongue. If you think you can tame this one first, though." Again, she blatantly stuck her tongue out at Rand. Cooking with him seemed to go smoothly enough, and, it was rather enjoyable as well.

Once she chose the meats Rand moved over to the potatoes and created a knife out of compressed Hardened Air, the pale blue blade slicing through effortlessly. Within minutes they were diced and in the pot, then covered with water and set atop the stove.
Which was when he noticed Éirín's back going rigid and decided that he couldn't wait any longer. Using a complicated weave of Air, Fire, and Water he set the area around the stove to go no higher than the temperature each food should reach. He then closed the distance between them as she finished sticking her tongue out.
Deciding to deal with that first, he cupped her chin and kissed her deeply, crossing tongues with her once more for nearly a full minute. Once that was done he turned her face up to look him in the eye before asking a single question. "What about that nightmare scared you so?"

Since the food seemed to be sorted, thanks to Rand's knowledge with magic and cooking, Éirín frantically started looking for something else to do. Finding nothing, until Rand had decided to deal with her feisty tongue, she started to wring her hands. When the man's hand cupped her chin and their tongues met, her hands relaxed around his shoulders. Please, just keep kissing me like this and don't ask me about it. She felt her eyes close and her body start to shake as the kiss was coming to a close, however.
When Rand made sure that she was looking at him, the wolf girl knew not to look away. She learned to face him head on, though, her entire body got cold when she heard the question she'd been dreading. "I was really hoping you wouldn't have asked me that." Her voice cracked, and she floated her tea over to her and drank. For one, she needed the time to think, and, for two, the honey might actually help her throat.
"It's only a dream, so, it shouldn't bother me, but, it does. It does, because I was walking the dream. I was in Avalon. My 'home', and...these bars of liquid light just...burned after images into my head, and then, I had to dodge around them. Right after all of that, there was a brilliant sunrise, but, I know what it was..." Once all of that was out, the priestess felt her entire body weight fall onto Rand. "There was someone there. With icy mint green eyes. But, he was just part of the dream. It was all just a terrible dream, right, my dear Rand?"

Rand's eyes hardened as she told him the details of the nightmare, mirroring the feelings within. They widened at the mention of liquid light -what could only be balefire- then narrowed once more as she mentioned the eyes. Without being fully aware of it he muttered to himself a name long forgotten, even after he regained his memories as Lews Therin Telamon.
"Ailill Marien Rhiodnaparet."
Abruptly he realized what he had just said, and immediately hugged Éirín. "I wish I could tell you that it meant nothing to me, but it would be nothing but lies. The liquid light sounds like balefire, something that is so powerful it destroys whatever it touches before it got hit, and threatens to creak reality itself in the process. As for the eyes, I once knew a man when I was Lews Therin who devoted his life to studying the parallel worlds found in Portal Stones."
He took a breath before continuing. "I don't remember much of the last night of that life, thankfully, but he tried to stop me. I thought I killed him as well, but I suppose he shifted into another world instead. If so, then he must have used a stasis box to keep himself alive, and is likely mad from the taint." He failed to mention that he once considered the man a colleague.

Éirín simply took in everything that Rand said and simply started crying. She hadn't wanted to bring the dream up in the first place because she wanted to be wrong. The shock seemed to ebb away, and then it would spring back. Mixed with her hunger, the wolf girl suddenly felt faint. "I wish..." She kept her voice as steady as she could manage, "I wish I wasn't such a bad liar, Rand. And, yes, in this instance, I wanted to lie to you." The priestess brought her gaze up to meet Rand's eyes, and then thought to actually explain herself.
She forced her hands and arms to squeeze around Rand as she spoke. She longed to be working on something right now. Anything, as long as it meant not coming to grips with what she had dreamed. "I wanted to lie to you because I wanted it to just be a dream. I don't know what to do now. About any of it."
Éirín was amazed that her voice stayed so steady. She eyed the food, and realised that she was both ravenous and yet without an appetite.
