It seemed Yuto was handling the Neoshadows easily enough, as he had managed to get it down to two of them. Henoke felt a smile emerge on his face as pride swelled in his chest at his friends abilities. "How ya doin', Henoke?" He heard his friend shout out across the battlefield, cupping his mouth to holler back. "Good to go! We're almost done here!" The Behemoth was squaring itself off, readying itself for another attack. Still grinning foolishly, Henoke twirled the two blades in his hands and readied himself as the Behemoth pushed off against the ground, charging in a straight line directly towards the teen. Surprised at the sudden bravado, Henoke paused and took a notable step back as he rolled to the side, jumping away as the creature crashed through where he had just been standing.
Careful to avoid the shockwaves rippling from beneath the creatures hooves as he landed, Henoke readied his Keyblades for his counter attack. The Behemoth crashed into one of the dark walls, his large tusk-horns penetrating the darkness, causing him to become stuck for a moment. As the Heartless thrashed and roared and attempted to pull itself free, Henoke was already running directly towards it, both blades out at his side as he grinned devilishly. "Take this!" Jumping up into the air, Henoke landed directly on the Behemoth's lower back, running up the spine and towards the head. He would strike the horn again and again until the beast was finally destroyed. That was his plan, anyway.
As Henoke neared the creatures' thick neck, he noticed a bright light shining near the monster's forehead. Shit!! Suddenly lightning bolts cascaded down from the sky, erupting all around the Behemoth and even hitting itself a bit in the process of trying to attack Henoke. Shouting out in surprise, the teen rolled out of the way of a lightning bolt just in time as he slipped off of the neck. Falling once more from the beasts back, Henoke rolled on the floor and landed on his feet, both weapons preventing him from being able to grab onto anything to keep himself up there. Tch. I forgot that dual wielding can be annoying. It was much easier, being faster and stronger, though it seemed to come at a cost.
The Behemoth broke free of the wall as it roared out in victory, its glowing yellow eyes landing directly on the vibrant orange teen, who currently stood waving both weapons in the air at it. "Yooohooo~ Over here!" Suddenly Henoke leapt backwards, hurling both key blades out towards the Behemoth as they spun through the air. "Strike Raid!" Both key blades spun through the air and struck the creatures horn, causing it to roar out in agony once again. As the weapons arced through the air back towards their master, the creature thrashed its head and slammed down with its hooves. Leaping into the air to avoid the shockwaves, Henoke grabbed the two key blades he had hurled at the beast from the air, landing on his feet to the Behemoth's side.
"Man...this guy can take a hit..." Truthfully the wielder was impressed. It seemed that though the Behemoth had sustained heavy damage over the course of the fight, it wasn't anywhere near done yet. As the creature lifted its broken horn to the sky, a brilliant energy sparked forth into being, seemingly charging up. Though it only took a few seconds, the Behemoth had charged up his attack as Henoke was running towards it, lifting its broken horn high into the sky as the energy at the tip crackled. Large energy balls began to appear and rain down from the sky, cascading over the entire battlefield. Looking over in Yuto's direction, Henoke shouted out in an attempt to warn his friend. "Yuto! Be careful of the orbs!" Rolling out of the way as one landed on the ground where he had been standing, Henoke shouted out in surprise and fear as the energy orb crackled and exploded, causing a small crater to form in the ground where it landed.
"BASTARD! Yuto isn't even fighting you!" Gritting his teeth, Henoke's face grew a beat red as the vein popped from his forehead. His eyes began to grow completely white as a golden energy began to crackle and spark around him. "That's it. Now I'm mad." As the golden aura began to consume the teenager, he brought the two weapons back together, wrapping the bandage around the base of the large steel grey blade to tie the Keyblade back into one. The whites of his eyes had consumed his vision as the red faced teen rose with his large hefty Keyblade on his shoulder, the golden aura around him crackling with energy as orbs rained down from the sky.
The Behemoth and Henoke roared at once, both signaling the signs of a beast. The two rushed at each other for another epic collision. A thundering crash rang out throughout the battlefield as the two met each other's attacks, the ground cracking and erupting beneath them to form a crater where the two met. Henoke stood with his feet firmly planted on the ground, his large Keyblade slashed diagonally to catch both of the large tusk-horns the Behemoth had attempted to gore him with. Pushing against the creature with his own strength, Henoke gritted his teeth as the golden aura around him finally solidified, his face a deep shade of red as he shouted out in exertion. It seemed somehow the teen was able to match the Behemoth's strength in this state, embodying rage itself as the two pushed at each others guard and attack.
The two were locked in place, forcing each other back or forward the occasional step.

"Yuto! Be careful of the orbs!" The man was busy blocking both Neoshadows as his friend yelled the warning. He didn't look up so much as see the orb come down between him and the Heartless. He barely had time to react before the orb exploded, sending him flying backward. Looking down, he noticed the singes, burns, and holes on his red and black flannel. "YOU BITCH, THAT WAS MY FAVORITE!" He knew the Behemoth couldn't hear, or even understand him, but he needed to get it out. The creature ruined his look. Granted, he didn't put any thought into it, but it worked for him. He had no idea where or when he was going to be able to go shopping for a new one. "Maybe I can get it fixed?" He toyed with the idea, but deep down he knew he would have to get it replaced.
The sound of the Behemoth and Henoke slamming into each other snapped Yuto out of his fashion crisis. Looking over at the both of them, he noticed the golden aura around his friend. 'Remind me not to piss the guy off.' The man was impressed that not only was Henoke able to block the massive Heartless but that he was able to keep it in place. Yuto turned back to the Neoshadows, who were closing in on him. He blocked a few attacks and dodged a couple more orbs. As he moved around and avoided the oncoming assault, the man slid into one of the many craters that now littered the battlefield. 'How did this get here?' The Neoshadows couldn't've done this, and the Behemoth was fighting an enraged teenager. as Yuto was pondering this, an orb fell just outside the crater. He lept back and noticed that the orb had left its own crater. 'So there solid. Good to know.' He lept out of the way of a couple more orbs and swiped at the oncoming heartless. Drawing his replikeyblade, he figured that he would attempt to send the orbs flying towards the Neoshadows.
Side-stepping a couple more orbs, the man swung at both of them. His hope was to use them as projectiles against the Heartless. Thankfully, one hit one of the Neoshadows and exploded on impact. 'Awsome!' He started swinging at the orbs that continued to fall. The more he could use this to his advantage, the easier the fight would be. "Why couldn't it do this earlier?" The question was more to himself than anything. His plan was working though, he couldn't complain about that. As an added bonus, the Neoshadows seemed to be stunned by his constant barrage. Taking his chance, he hefted both his weapons and rushed the Heartless. The orbs did more damage than he thought. A few strikes were all it took to take the two of them out. 'Well, glad that annoyance was over.' Now his friend should be able to fight without worry. Especially considering the orbs had stopped falling, at least for now.
Yuto looked down at himself and sighed in annoyance and disgust. He was covered in burns, scratches, and small amounts of blood. 'I guess there's no helping it.' He raised his bat overhead, "Mend." A green aura surrounded him as flowers magically bloomed from the air itself. 'Better, but...' His wounds were healed, but his only outfit was ruined. He didn't exactly have any clothes waiting for him back home, and he couldn't exactly buy any currently. Or ever, as luck would have it, he was broke. Not the time to worry about that though, his friend was still fighting the massive Heartless. He turned to the two, attempting to access the situation and hoping Henoke was winning. He knew the teen was skilled, but this Heartless seemed tough and had a lot of different skills. That, and he wasn't sure what his friend was like in this form. He was stronger, sure, but it didn't seem like a good thing. It seemed almost, dangerous. Not just to his enemies though. 'He'll be fine.' The man had to hope. He could take the thing now, sure. It was weak and he just healed himself. But if Henoke fell now, the focus would have to be on getting him out of here. Being in this realm was bad enough conscious, but unconscious? The thought made him shudder. He had a lot of sleepless times in that place.
'C'mon, focus. If the kid falls, you gotta be there.' Yuto slapped his face and refocused on the battle.

Slowly, the Behemoth began to turn its neck as Henoke struggled against its tusk-horns with his Keyblade. Bastard!! Overpowering the teenager in brute strength (obviously), the large Heartless finally managed to turn its head, launching the golden wielder across the battlefield as he skidded across the ground. Rolling and tumbling over himself before landing in a heap, Henoke heard a thundering roar as the ground began to shake. Looking up, the teens red face froze for a moment as the Behemoth began to charge him, apparently not content with throwing him around anymore. Its massive jaw gaped open and thrashed, jagged teeth closing together as they threatened to crunch down on him.
Pushing against his Keyblade with his shoulder as he hoisted it up vertically to block the creature, Henoke's weapon managed to stop the closing jaws, the golden crackling energy around it bursting for a moment as it flared up from the collision. The beast had still been pushing forward however, causing the two to crash into the nearest pitch black wall. There was another loud crash followed by a sudden stillness. The Behemoth was against the wall, faced away from Yuto with his head burrowed into it. The gigantic Heartless was still for a moment.
Suddenly it burst forth in an explosion of dark vapor, many hearts the Emblem Heartless had collected on this world releasing into the air, exposing a large crater in the wall with Henoke pushed into it. The Keyblade in the teen's hand was in front of him, the point directed up as he slowly slid from the crater onto the floor, propped up against the wall. The hefty steel grey weapon thudded onto the ground at his side in his hand, the golden aura around it crackling and slowly waning out of existence. The same happened to Henoke himself, the aura fading as his face grew its normal peach shade and his gold-brown eyes blinked back into existence. Shaking his head a bit, the teen lifted a hand his temple as he winced, his body heavily banged up from the collision of the Behemoth's charge. "Ugh...I feel...like I got hit...by a train."
His voice was a faint echo in the sudden silence and emptiness, as he was still gathering his bearings. Once the room stopped spinning to him, Henoke hoisted himself back up to his feet using the Keyblade as a prop. Leaning on the weapon as though it were a crutch of sorts, he grimaced as he felt pain course through his body. Everything's got a cost... His master had constantly reminded him about that. Great power equals great burdens. The chimes rang through his head as he came to. Looking across the battlefield, he noticed a surprising amount of craters littering the area. Relief coursed through him as he looked over to see Yuto, seemingly fine other than a few holes in his shirt.
A broad grin erupted over the teen's face as he moved to rush over to his friend, falling onto the floor instead with a surprised yell. It seemed his body was really at its limit for now, all of his muscles sore and his bones aching in protest. "Damn it!" Rolling onto his back, the teen's Keyblade disappeared in a ray of light as he threw his hands to his sides, gazing up at the pitch black around them with a laughing sigh. "Guess I pushed myself a bit too hard..." Though he couldn't see Yuto, he shouted over to him from his spot on the ground.
"Hey! Yuto! I think we did it!"

The man watched in awe as Henoke held his own against the Heartless. Granted, he was concerned when it knocked the teen across the battlefield. The man wasn't too surprised to see the aura get stronger because of it. Nor was he surprised to see his friend block the Behemoth's attacks. He knew the teen was strong, but this was a whole new level. Yuto was bot impressed and scared by it. 'If this is what he's like when he gets mad...' He didn't want to know what would happen if something worse happened to his friend. There was a loud explosion that brought the man back to reality. He looked over to see that the Behemoth had exploded, releasing countless hearts into the air. 'It's finally over.' He sighed and sat down. He was so relieved. Normally this place didn't offer people respite, but this one time seemed to be different.
"Hey! Yuto! I think we did it!" The man had to agree, it was over, for now. They had a chance to finish what they came to do. "Damn right!" He looked over to where he heard Henoke's voice, only to see the teen on the ground. The man sprung to his feet and ran over. "You ok man?" The teen looked a little worse for wear. Not surprising, considering what just happened. "Like, can you stand or did getting launched across the room for the millionth time finally stick?" He couldn't help but smile at what he said. It wasn't the best thing to say, his friend might be really hurt. He had to make a joke though, they had just gotten out of a serious situation that could've ended their lives as they knew them. The man touched that darkness once, that was all he was ever wanted too. 'No time to dwell on that.'
"C'mon, lets finish what we came here for." The man scooped up his friend and brought him over to the heart. Upon approaching, he felt a slight warmth of the world's heart. The tendrils were still there, but Yuto had a feeling that they wouldn't be an issue. He placed his friend down in a standing position, ready to brace the teen if the need arose. "Let's do this and get out of here, yeah?" The man was more than ready to get out of this place. Especially considering what they just went through. If that happened again, he doubted they would be able to handle it.

For a moment, Henoke closed his eyes and took a deep breath. Phew...we did it. Relief washed over him as Yuto reached him, the man's voice reaching down to the teen as he grinned broadly. "Ha ha ha! Yeah, I'm fine!" He held a thumbs up, still laughing out of a mixture of relief, joy and exhaustion. "C'mon, lets finish what we came here for." Yuto's voice rang through the empty vastness, aiding Henoke into a sitting position. Nodding, Henoke attempted to stand and winced, falling a bit and leaning on Yuto for support. The fight's toll was hitting him hard, despite having healed earlier. It seemed the teen had pushed its body past its limits, forcing a lot of physical exhaustion onto him. "Let's do this and get out of here, yeah?"
Grinning a bit as he straightened himself with Yuto's support, Henoke looked at his friend with a reassuring tone in his voice. "Ha ha! Yuto, don't be so serious~ We won!" He looked over at the glimmering orb, faded now, as it was still surrounded by darkness and an odd purple aura. "It's weird, though. I don't think it's a keyhole...just...the world's heart." Had the Keyblade sent him to this world for this, then? He had never been inside of the Heart of a World before. Did it work like a keyhole? Looking around at the vast dark empty space, Henoke wondered what exactly made this place so dark. The Behemoth had seemed to be guarding the heart, rather than causing it any distress. Something wasn't adding up to the wielder as he voiced a thought to his friend. "Yuto...what do you think happened to this world? To be left in such an awful state?"
Heartless were one thing, but it almost seemed like something had just completely wiped this world from history. Abandoned and forgotten, it was littered with Heartless and rotting in the core. There was a story here, Henoke was sure of it, he just wasn't sure how to find it. Shaking his head of the thought, the key bearer lifted his right arm to his side, summoning his hefty weapon in a ray of light. "I hope this works..." There was a doubt lingering in his heart, though the friend at his side caused him to hope. Lifting the 'Steel Heart' in front of him, Henoke aimed the long steel blade at the Heart of the World, closing his eyes and focusing. An aura of light began to surround the tip of the weapon, the teen's own body beginning to glow in light faintly as suddenly a stream of light shot out from his Keyblade.
The beam struck into the Heart, piercing through the darkness with a soft ringing, as though a bell. For a moment all was still. Suddenly a ray of light burst forth, blinding both of the friends as all went white. Henoke could still feel Yuto supporting him, but couldn't register anything else for a moment. As he began to blink and finally be able to see and gather himself, the teen started with a yell of surprise. The two stood outside the castle, in front of the large entryway in a small courtyard. Behind them were the trails that lead into the maze like training grounds. "Wha- how did we get here?!" Henoke looked around in surprise. The sun was high in the sky. How long had we been in there?
For a moment he was stunned into silence, simply staring at the large castle doors with his mouth agape. The Keyblade still rested in his right hand at his side, its tip lingering against the courtyard floor. Looking down at the long weapon, Henoke's face broke into a small smile. It worked...! He looked up at the castle with a broad grin. Sure enough, the windows seemed less tinted and more vibrant, much of the moss and overgrowth receding to allow the castle to shine more magnificently beneath the shining sun. It had seemed to float a bit higher in the air as well, though Henoke wasn't sure if he was imagining that or not. It had been a long day. His body felt lighter than before, allowing him to stand on his own as he removed himself from Yuto's support, looking over at his friend with a smile.
"Thanks, Yuto! I couldn't have done any of that without you!" He beamed at his new friend, happy to have been thrown into this bizarre world, forgotten to time. The Keyblade rumbled in his hand a bit, causing his gold-brown eyes to linger on the weapon for a moment. Looking back up, a small frown emerged on his face. "I might have to go soon. I don't know where I'll be sent...but I'm sure I'll see you around!" He grinned broadly again, holding out his hand to the man in a fist.
"Where do you think you'll go now? Will you stay here?"

"Yuto...what do you think happened to this world? To be left in such an awful state?" The room stayed dark and the white orb had a purplish hue. If it wasn't the Heartless causing it then what? If they were just living off the darkness that already existed around the world's heart, how was it already so dark? "I'm not sure. Maybe it was just forgotten for so long?" It was as good of a reason as any for this to happen. It also made the most sense. The worlds seemed to be linked to their people and their memories. 'Is that what happened to my world?'
He didn't have long to think about it as his friend's started glowing as the teen raised it to the world's heart. 'What is he-?' The man didn't have time to finish the thought as a beam of light went from his Keyblade to the heart. Once the beam made contact, the two were engulfed in a bright white light. The man couldn't see or feel anything other than his friend who he was currently making sure didn't fall over or collapse. The two were in the light for what felt like ages. Once the light faded, the man blinked hard and looked around. The sun was shining high in the sky. 'Well, we were gone for a little while.' As he looked around, the grass was a little taller and the bushes a little thicker. 'Maybe a day or two.' The man had no real idea, but he felt his guess was accurate. He wasn't good with normal time, but the time difference between realms? He was fairly accurate with that.
Those weren't the only things that were different about the front courtyard of the castle. The whole world seemed brighter than when he arrived. 'Looks like we did it.' The man couldn't help but smile. Even if he wasn't directly the reason the world was safe, he did have a hand in it's saving. "Thanks, Yuto! I couldn't have done any of that without you!" The man was filled with pride. Not only did he help save this world, but he managed to keep his new friend from being killed. Overall, a good trip. "I might have to go soon. I don't know where I'll be sent...but I'm sure I'll see you around! Where do you think you'll go now? Will you stay here?" The man met the teen's fist with his own. "No clue, man, I might have to find a tailor first." Yuto looked down to gesture at the damage, only to find that it was perfectly fixed. "Or not. Either way, I have a few things I should talk to a friend of mine about. He happens to be a master too, so I want to get his opinion on some things." The man couldn't help but think that if the heart of this world fell to darkness because of the lack of people to remember it, then the same could've happened to his own world. "There is one thing I do know though." The man opened a |Dark Corridor| and drew his replikeyblade. "If I want to use this more, I need to make some changes to it."
He turned to his new friend, a little sad that they had to part ways. "I'll see you around, man. Try to stop getting thrown around. I know it looks like a fun and fast way to get around, but I imagine it's quite painful." With a poorly held in laugh and a thumbs-up, the man stepped into the |Dark Corridor| and went off to his next destination.

"I have a few things I should talk to a friend of mine about. He happens to be a master too, so I want to get his opinion on some things." Henoke was curious as to what 'friend' Yuto meant, nodding a bit as the two met fists. He smiled as he felt a new light in his heart, one of a new friendship he felt would be long lasting. "If I want to use this more, I need to make some changes to it." Yuto held up the wooden replica Keyblade, causing Henoke to grin a bit and match his friends thumbs up as Yuto reminded him to stop being thrown around so much. The comment caused the wielder to laugh, ignoring the sadness gnawing at the edge of his heart. Part of him hated goodbyes. "Not goodbye, but see you soon." He waved goodbye as his friend stepped through a dark corridor he had summoned, disappearing into the darkness. "Good luck, Yuto." The Keyblade rumbled in Henoke's hand once more, this time starting and causing the teen to lurch forward. A sudden white light began to surround Henoke as the world swirled and shifted around him. The 'Steel Heart' seemed to act on its own as it jumped forward, a large beam of light shooting out into the large keyhole that had appeared, leading to a newly opened gateway. The world continued to shift and swirl as Henoke was consumed in light, everything becoming a blinding white as he smiled with a single parting thought of this world. I'm glad I came here. He had learned a lot, and met a new friend, too. All in all, he was thankful for the weapon that seemed to hop him around to other worlds, regardless of the destination. Eventually he would learn to control it, but for now he was thankful for its guidance as the Keyblade sent its wielder off of the Land of Departure, to a new and unknown destination. [[END OF THREAD]] ((Thanks Raven for the dope thread We'll have Yuto and Henoke cross paths again, for sure! ))
