”I am fine, Henoke. I must be tired, that’s all.” Tamara seemed to snap out of whatever daze she had been in, though Henoke’s brow still furrowed with worry. Something seemed ‘off’ about the druid—but the teen couldn’t quite place his finger on it. It was then that Tori’s retort reached his ears, causing the teen to frown and look away for a moment, crossing his arms. ”But does it hurt to at least cooperate? That’s what I’m asking you to do.” Tori seemed frustrated and close to giving up, clearly tired of attempting to strike a balance between the hot-headed youth and boy in green. Looking back towards her with a somewhat stubborn look on his face, Henoke finally snorted and sighed. ”Fine. I don’t wanna mess up Lumiere’s chances of savin' Fifi just ‘cause of a grudge…”
At this comment, the candelabra smiled brightly at the youth while putting his ‘hands’ on his ‘hips’. ”Right, Henoke! Focus on what’s important!” Nodding in agreement with Tori, Cogsworth seemed to follow the same logic the others had nudged Henoke towards. Nodding at Lumiere and Cogsworth, Henoke took a moment to breathe. Okay. I’ll do it for their sake. With a new determination in his heart, Henoke’s fists clenched at his sides as he worked on his resolve. It was at this time that Tamara’s movements caught his eye. Brandishing her own Keyblade, Tamara began to focus on the task at hand, taking aim at the dark lantern in front of them.
Lumiere and Cogsworth both let out small ‘oooh’s’ as a white mist began to emerge. Surrounding the lantern, the mist seemed to do little other than shroud it. Tamara seemed flustered, hinting that this was not the outcome she had anticipated. ”Henoke, how do you use this ‘Keyblade’ weapon to fire beams of light?” The question caught him off guard. The look on Tamara’s face betrayed that the druid wasn’t prone to asking for help—Henoke felt the pressure. Scratching at the back of his head, the teen looked up towards the dark ceiling in thought. ”Hm…how to explain it…” For a moment, he crossed his arms and furrowed his brow, looking down at the stone floor in concentration.
”Well, it’s kinda like lockin' a keyhole.” Having trained under Chirithy and the old geezer, Henoke wasn’t new to voyaging through worlds, closing open doors and unlocking others. It wasn’t something he typically had to explain to people, though. How did Chirithy explain it to me, when I first learned? Trying to recall, Henoke summoned his own Keyblade, the hefty and solid grey weapon emerging from a burst of light. ”You just gotta concentrate on what you wanna open…” Using both of his hands to hoist his large weapon into the air, Henoke aimed at the lantern shrouded in darkness before them. For a moment, he closed his eyes firmly. ”Then, tell it with your heart to open.”
Suddenly, a faint light began to circle around Henoke, who’s eyes were still closed. ”Use the light inside of you to reach out, to touch—“ It were almost as though he were reliving his old lessons. Still focused and holding his Keyblade out before him, the light surrounding Henoke began to glow and consume the odd-shaped weapon. For a moment, the hallway was brightened to the point that Cogsworth and Lumiere both exclaimed, holding their ‘hands’ over their ‘eyes’. Suddenly, a beam of light erupted forth from Henoke’s Keyblade, causing the light around the teen to vanish as it leapt forward and touched the lantern with a soft click!
Suddenly, the darkness surrounding the Lantern was gone. Opening his eyes, Henoke smiled and sighed with a bit of relief. He would have hated to mess up after someone had asked. ”Oh—damn!” He suddenly realized what he had done. ”Sorry, Tamara, I didn’t mean to actually do it!” Having wasted a good learning moment, the teen’s Keyblade disappeared in its familiar burst of light as Henoke grabbed at his orange and spiky hair with both hands. Shaking his head, the teen slumped for a moment before straightening himself with a sigh, resting his hands on his hips.
”Well…I guess you can do the next one?” With an almost sheepish look, the teen pointed to the now exposed lantern. ”Wanna light it, at least?”
As the Heartless surged forward, Jen imitated their charge. Leaping forward in a powerful attack of light, the hallway shook and rumbled as the darkness all around seemed to be blasted away for a moment. Each blast of Jen’s Lightstorm ability illuminated the stone hallway, sending Heartless scattering through the air as they disappeared in bursts of smoke. All that remained were a few Soldiers and the Large Bodies.
While Jen was busy massacring the demons, Adrien crept across the long and narrow battlefield with Yubel, dispatching any of the minor stray Heartless careless enough to come across them. Past the Large Bodies blocking the remainder of the Hallway was a lantern shrouded in darkness. Hanging by a thick and sturdy chain, the mechanism was lifted high into the air, closer to the stone ceiling than the floor. Darkness and shadow shrouded the remainder of the hallway, leading to the last platform and final lantern out of sight.
While observing the area, Adrien would be approached by the two Large Bodies steadily coming closer from the other side of the hall. One would leap forward, attempting to flatten the boy in green with its heavy body, while the other slapped its rotund gut and began to barrel down the hallway at surprising speeds! It seemed that the body slam was only targeting Adrien, but the Large Body charging was hoping to get both him and Jen! While the giant Heartless attacked from the front, the remaining Soldiers lunged through the air, cycloning through the hall with their glinting sharp talons, aimed directly for the two!

Jen rolled her eyes at Adrien, a touch of annoyance mixed in to the battle-thrill as she used Flash Step to appear beside him. "Yeah, yeah. Let's see if I can hit the other one too."
Flame danced in her left hand while Light blazed from her right, and in a swift motion she brought the two together before sweeping them around her. "Purify and Burn!"
The Holy Firaja took the form of ten one-foot wide fireballs of the purest white. One hit the nearby lantern, two more rocketed off in the direction the last one should be, and the remaining seven all aimed into the attacking Heartless' heads. She might take a little damage, but nothing a Curaga wouldn't fix.
Tamara watched Henoke's explanation and demonstration with genuine interest, choosing to ignore the embarrassment of her ignorance. Once it was finished she filed the information away with a grateful nod, lighting the lantern with a thin flow of Fire. "Thank you, Henoke. I will admit that I am still unsure of what exactly this is capable of. Then again, it has only been a few weeks since it first appeared."
She truly did not care about what was between him and this Adrien, mainly as she lacked any history or context. For the time being she resolved to stay neutral, though once again she had to force down an uncharacteristic annoyance.
In any other circumstance Tamara would find Henoke's mannerisms endearing, if not outright amusing. In these, well...
"I don't mind either way. What matters is that we move through here quickly and find this 'Fifi' before something untoward happens." Shifting her gaze to the mist of Light ahead she started forward cautiously, hoping to stay with the group. Unlike the blonde ahead, she wasn't as comfortable taking risks.

Adrien had noticed the Large Bodies approaching. He sighed in dissapointment, as he dodged out of the way as soon as the first Large Body landed its attack, but missing its target. It wasn't long before he noticed the second one making its way rapidly towards him, but Yubel stepped in front, pouncing at the Heartless straight on, and hopefully teching the attack altoghether.
"Tch... Some one you would really like to just have a go, huh...?" Adrien said, with clear irritation.
Since he wasn't going to let some small fry get the best of him -at least, so he thought-, Adrien wasn't going to back down from a fight like that. Why would he, when he knew he would win? Leaving Yubel as a decoy, Adrien rolled aside, laying low, and waited to strike. If one of the Large Bodies decided to land a hit, then it'd better get ready for a heavy counter-attack...
Tori simply looked, unamused, as Henoke began his little explanation. Sure enough, they were familiar words, once heard from her own teacher. Drowning that small feeling of grief, Tori suddenly forced herself to close her eyes, if only for a bit, as a quick brightness engulfed the hallway around them.
Did Henoke even know that would happen? If he did, then maybe he chose the wrong moment to show it...
"What the...?" Tori mumbled, if only for a second before recomposing herself, "You knew that would happen, right? So why didn't you just hold back?"
"In any case... I doubt we'll have to clear the next ones, if Jen's doing her job..." she sighed, looking towards the dark corridor, "They're surely taking their time, though... I'll go have a look. You two stay here. Besides, not like I'll go too far in -just a couple steps."
Daring the Heartless to jump in ambush, Tori walked calmly towards the dark hallway, unfazed. Knowing Adrien was there was somewhat troublesome, but something she could deal with regardless.
And if anything decided to jump and attack, then they'd meet either the end of Tori's Keyblade or her broadsword in an instant.

”Thank you, Henoke.” Smiling at Tamara’s thanks, the bright haired teen rubbed at his nose sheepishly. ”I’m still unsure of what exactly this is capable of. Then again, it has only been a few weeks since this first appeared.” At Tamara’s last comment, Henoke visibly staggered in surprise. N-no way!!! He hadn’t expected her to be that new! Then again, he had come across others who had been thrust into similar situations on other worlds. ”Why didn’t you just hold back?” Henoke tched at Tori’s comment, looking away as he crossed his arms. ”It was just hard to explain, that’s all!”
”What matters is that we move through here quickly and find this ‘Fifi’ before something untoward happens.” Lumiere and Cogsworth nodded and jumped in earnest at the druid’s comment, who had already lit the lantern. Already Henoke could feel the warmth of the light spilling across the otherwise dark and damp cobblestone around them. ”I doubt we’ll have to clear the next ones, if Jen’s doing her job…” Henoke had nearly forgotten—Tori somehow knew the brawler that had suddenly appeared to aid them. With so much power, Jen certainly did seem reliable. ”They’re sure taking their time though…I’ll go have a look. You two stay here.”
Surprised by the sudden decision, Henoke barely registered what Tori said as she turned to head directly toward the dark hallway that the others had ventured into. Damn! I got stuck with guard duty?! How had she pulled a fast one on him like that?! ”Wait! Damn it!” Groaning a bit, Henoke turned to look down at Lumiere and Cogsworth, who both were looking at the corner Tori had turned. We can’t leave ‘em, but I don’t wanna sit around either! He wouldn’t admit it to himself, but surely it had something to do with Adrien already being in the action.
As the first Large Body crashed against the floor, missing Adrien with its direct attack, the second continued to barrel forward. Colliding with the rotund Heartless, Yubel’s attack caused the charge to halt just in time, the two pushing each other into a stand still. It was then that Jen appeared beside the boy in green, her hands dancing flame and blinding light as her Holy Firaja spell erupted forth. Blinding white and orange filled the cobblestone hallway as an impossibly powerful heat blasted down the tunnel-like structure.
Tori would feel the heat of the spell once turning the corner, the darkness around the hallway flickering as though waning in the face of such brutality as she would see Jen in action. Decimating the remaining Heartless, the stray flames honed in on their destination. The first ruptured through the darkness on the lantern, illuminating it as it swung wildly and CLANGED against the wall on the impossibly thick iron chain it hung from. The second, flying through the hallway and turning the corner to appear on the top platform, honed in and attempted to do the same.
BANG! Directly above him, Henoke heard and felt an explosion that caused the floor beneath him to shake. His keyblade bursting into his hands in a ray of light, the teen took on a battle stance as he immediately stood in front of Lumiere and Cogsworth. Already there was an orange glow from above them, the flickering of shadows cast immediately reminding Henoke of fire. ”W-what was that?!” Cogsworth’s meek shout almost didn’t reach the wielders ears, as the hallway around the corner to their right illuminated in a similar glow, catching his eyes. ”FIRE! SOMEONE, HELP!” A shrill cry pierced the dungeon catacombs—causing Henoke’s heart to still for a brief moment before his eyes raised above.
The shout had certainly come from the top platform. ”FIFI! I’M HERE!” Lumiere had begun to shout, his voice cracking from panic as he gazed in horror at the orange light above. Rushing to Henoke and Tamara’s side, the candelabra had a crazed look in his eyes—one of desperation and fear. ”P-please! Save Fifi!” Cogsworth was already collecting him, pulling him back from the teens. ”Get away from the fire, moron! You can't help Fifi if you die here!” Fighting against him, the candelabra proved no match against Cogsworth, who began to drag him back towards the small dungeon room. Looking back up to Tamara and Henoke, the clock shouted at the two. "We'll just be in the way! I'll take Lumiere to the dungeon!"
”Tamara—“ There was no time. The look on both of their faces had only cemented that. Henoke turned to the druid, his face oddly calm as a fire blazed in his eyes. ”—you know any spells that could throw me up there?” He would help Lumiere rescue Fifi. He had promised. He couldn’t let it end like this—in a stray fire caused by who knew what!
The blinding and blazing light began to fade as Jen’s spell ended—the hallway remaining empty and singed, many of the stones blackened. A soft orange glow illuminated it now, as the lantern at the end hung peacefully, having calmed its swaying from the dust settling after the battle. Shadows flickered and mingled, though there seemed to be traces of the same light from the platform ahead. With a slow vertical rise, it was impossible to see from where the party stood.
Sounds of crackling flames could be heard as wood snapped and broke, the crunching and crashing of debris being heard from below. It seemed whatever the spell had hit with the lantern had caused a serious problem. Smoke began to pour from end of the hall, thick and black as it flooded the area. Rumblings from above could be heard, clattering of metal and discontented thumps echoing now. ”FIRE! SOMEONE, HELP!” A piercing cry ruptured the hall, just as yellow eyes began to appear at the end, where the smoke was pouring from.
More Heartless were emerging—disturbed from their rest due to all the noise.

Jen watched her spell detonate with satisfaction, knowing it wouldn't hurt any but the Heartless. Then a scream split the sound, and she realized nobody else knew that. With a concerned look she started to head to the scream, only to stop when even more Heartless appeared. The smpke barely even registered to her.
"I'm really, really getting tired of you guys." Her voice was an uncharacteristic growl as her eyes shifted from bright blue slightly, becoming more alive and flame-like. She kept a tight rein on her anger though, as letting it loose would just be a waste here.
Instead, she leapt into the air, using her gauntlets' recoil to aim for the center of the tightest mass of Heartless before slamming down once more with her Scorched Earth. Th impact would send a shockwave of Light 10 feet in all directions and deal moderate damage to anything it hit.
That included the ground, but she figured that could be fixed easily enough.
Tamara actually recoiled slightly at the display of Light and Fire farther down the hall, only staying focused through centuries of training and combat. She noticed the smoke immediately and turned back to Henoke with a determined look. "You won't like it, but yes."
Reaching into her pouch, she withdrew an acorn before dropping it at her feet. Singing loudly this time to accelerate the process, the Trunk Block began to rapidly grow. "Grab on, or it'll crush you!" She followed her own advice as the tree continued to grow, clinging to a branch as it rocketed up.
The tree usually grew to 20 feet wide and 100 feet tall. Clearly that wasn't happening in the confines of the tunnel, but it seemed determined to take up what space it could.
Thinking quickly, Tamara shifted her song to direct the tree to bend as it neared the ceiling, trading more height for a quick transport across the hall. Despite both her odd moods and the serious situation, she couldn't help but laugh at the exhilaration of riding the branch.

The snap followed by the smoke only helped to startle Tori, and she rushed to where it seemed to come from. Sure, Jen had lit the torches as accorded, but with a lousy job at that. Groaning to herself, Tori rushed to see where the smoke was coming from, following the echo of a call for help.
Just what was Jen thinking...? Shaking her head at the thought, Tori managed to find the source of the smoke, covering her mouth and nose to avoid breathing it in too much.
"Oh, you came by?" Adrien's tease didn't sit well with Tori, who had tried to duck to where the smoke wouldn't go, "I wouldn't do that if I were you, sweetheart. Sure, light's on and all, but Heartless don't seem to mind that, do they?" "Then can't you cooperate back?" Tori asked, with a mix of tease and annoyance, "You can use water magics, right? You'd help out if only a little by using it right about now, dumbass!" "Keh... While I wanna say 'no', I ain't gettin' much for refusing, either..."
Tori coughed a bit, summoning her Flood spell, a giant wave of water forming behind her, ina sense shielding her from the smoke as it came crashing down against the wall where the fire was coming from. Adrien followed his own Water spell, condensing a water bubble and tossing it alongside Tori's Flood spell, hopefully softening the fire that had suddenly made its appearance.
As more Heartless appeared, Tori clicked her tongue, grabbing onto her sword while summoning her Keyblade. Adrien saw this with a smirk, amused that she'd go so far against some small fry.
He wanted to face that determination for himself.
"Sheesh... If Heartless force you to dual wield..." he said aloud, raising his chin as he loomed over the Heartless that had appeared, "I have to wonder what'll force you to go all out..." "Tch... Dream about it, Adrien -right now, I'm not in the mood" Tori said coldly.
Jen's Scorched Earth attack caught both of them off-guard, quickly jumping out of the way. As she did, Tori glanced over at Tamara and Henoke, who were on their way to aid that cry for help. Landing over a safe spot of ground, Tori readied herself for the onslaught, with a hint of annoyance behind it.
"You're starting to piss me off... So just dissapear before I make it worse for you..." she threatened no one in a silent voice, her glare aimed at the Heartless that dared remain.

”You won’t like it, but yes.” Tamara’s answer confused Henoke for a moment, though within seconds the teen was shouting out in surprise as an impossibly large tree began to grow. Ripping forth from the cobblestone, aided by Tamara’s song, the vines took root as it formed and began consuming the small corner space where they had lit the lantern. ”Grab on, or it’ll crush you!” Watching with wide eyes as the spell caster took hold of a branch to raise with it, Henoke followed suit, using his High Jump in order to land on top of a branch, balancing on it as though it were a board.
”W-woah!” They were flying, practically! Shooting forward from the floor below, the branch continued to snake and curve through the air, bringing the two of them to the top platform quicker than walking would.
The hallway shook and the level above quaked as Jen’s Scorched Earth ability illuminated the area in a blinding light. Despite the large crater formed in the cobblestone, long cracks snaking along the now soot and dirt coated pieces, no other damage seemed to be done to the area. The Heartless further away from the feat of strength had found themselves flooded out by the rushing torrent sent forth by both Tori and Adrien. Already it seemed the motion was moving the smoke, clearing the hallway and allowing the team more visibility. Most of the enemies other than the stray Shadow had been defeated by the trio.
The darkness that loomed once was no more, as the lantern swayed and rocked with the ongoing battle, the flame illuminating it bouncing as if in fervor. ”WOOOOOHOOOO!” A jovial shout would echo throughout the dungeon depths, though in the hallway one wouldn’t see what was happening in the platform beyond. What few Heartless remained seemed to fault at the sudden shout—turning their heads in confusion though only for a brief moment. ”You’re starting to piss me off…”
Tori’s voice echoed faintly, the smaller Heartless seeming to falter for a moment. Similar to when she had first arrived on this world—it seemed the Heartless had a faint disdain for her. It was almost as if they wanted nothing to do with the heart within their reach. Fading into the shadows, the few Heartless escaped, aiming to retreat to the platform above.
”WOOOOOHOOOO!” Henoke couldn't help but give in to the excitement of the situation, adrenaline pumping through him as he laughed along with Tamara. Flying through the air on a magical tree branch was definitely as exciting as it sounded. Leaping from the branch, Henoke summoned his hefty Keyblade into his hands as he landed on the dark cobblestone platform that had just previously been too high for him to reach. ”Tamara—that was awesome!” Collecting himself, Henoke’s golden eyes flashed around the room, trying to take in his surroundings.
Orange light cast heavy shadows, illuminating multiple burnt and destroyed crates of various items scattered around the cobblestone room. Multiple heavy chains hung from the air, snaking across the ceiling to provide a grotesque and frightening atmosphere. Despite the floor being slightly mossy from prior dampness, multiple small fires had heated the room—smoke was still rising into the already stale air. ”SOMEONE, HELP!” The shrill cry from earlier, Fifi’s, broke the crackling sounds of fire and fighting that continued to echo faintly.
”Fifi! Hang in there!” Rushing forward, Henoke’s eyes widened in surprise and then anger as he witnessed a small ring of fire, crafted from multiple crates stacked together. In the middle of said ruin was an animated duster, long feathers composing arms and a body as the tip was adorned with a small face full of terror—it was Fifi! Multiple NeoShadows surrounded her as they attempted to leap forward, only to be repelled by the oddly bright fire. The fire! It wasn’t normal flames—otherwise it wouldn’t hold back the Heartless like it was. Light magic? He may have never completed his training, but Chirithy and the old geezer had taught him well enough.
Wait—does that mean? Gripping his Keyblade in both hands, the vibrant haired teen was quick to jump in the fray. Immediately swinging in a heavy overhanded attack to clobber the nearest NeoShadows, Henoke shouted over the combat to the small duster. ”Fifi! Stay where you are! Lumiere sent us to help!” It was just a hunch, but if the flames were keeping the Heartless at bay, it was oddly the safest place for her to be.
They could do this!

Swearing under her breath, Jen looked over as she finally noticed the smoke. Clearly her aim had been off, something that wounded her pride as the former Angelic Archer of Olympus Colosseum. By now the fight had continued enough for her to slip into her training mindset, calming her as she evaluated the new situation.
Leaping into the air, she utilized the recoil of her gauntlets to orient herself facing the new threat. The instant she touched down again she sprinted toward a group of Neoshadows, firing her gauntlets twice at the ground behind her to accelerate into her Light Blitz, the blow dealing heavy damage to anything she hit. To be safe, she aimed slightly between the Heartless and the fire, intending to launch them away from Fifi. "Sorry Fifi! Those won't hurt you, so just stick tight for a bit!
Tamara's elation faded instantly as the branch came to a stop and she took stock of the situation. Despite her unnatural aversion to the flames she edged closer, looking within them at the magic with curiosity. It was unlike anything she had seen before, and she made a note to study it later.
For now, there was a fight to finish.
Weaving quickly, Tamara combined Water and Air into a small cloud over Fifi just as The blonde woman came charging past. The cloud rested for a moment, then lashed out with three bolts of lightning at three different beasts before returning to nothing.
The instant she finished weaving Tamara raised her blade and charged forward, aiming to turn her elegant and quick bladework onto the survivors. "Tell me if the flames get near her!"

Of course. It had to be the most annoying of enemies. Clicking her tongue, Tori held her broadsword reverse to use it as a parry weapon. Chanting a Faith spell on herself, before releasing a powerfull Blizzaja on a small group of NeoShadows.
"Stay away!" she shouted, both as a warning for her allies, and a threat to her enemies.
The ice spike shot upwards with increased speed, catching to freeze as many NeoShadows as possible to make things quick. Not that it would've been easy, based on her knowledge of the enemies to begin with. NeoShadows weren't your classical enemies -that was a given.
But that wasn't going to stop her. Not then.
Adrien, on the other hand, glanced over to the flames, surprised by their selectiveness. He wondered, albeit for a moment, if they'd hurt him as well, but he wasn't up to test the theory. His gauntlet blades clearly visible, he lunged forward alongside Yubel, the two attacking the nearest enemy they'd encounter. With Tori freezing as many as she could, the chances for Adrien to catch one of guard seemed fairly high.
"Like I'd let you take all the credit..."
Mist began to surge near Tori, but unlike before, it never really exploded with violence -it didn't increase her power whatsoever. Her eyes turning a vivid purple, once her Blizzaja spell had been chanted, she charged forward with incredible speed. While her Keyblade or appearance hadn't changed, there was a noticeable change in behavior.
Much like the first time she exploded while being alone with Henoke.
"...Henoke!" she shouted, taking a defensive in front of the flames protecting Fifi, "Take everyone out of here! Adrien, Jen and I will fend these things off!" Tori ordered, her gaze fixated on the remaining NeoShadows, "That includes you, Tamara! Get out of here to safety! We'll regroup outside, okay?!" "Not gonna take orders from you, but..." Adrien mumbled, but then smirked with desire, "If you're saying I get to beat these things, then I might as well oblige..." "What are you waiting for?! Get going!"

Henoke felt a guiding force as his Keyblade combo managed to break through a NeoShadow, causing its heart to release and evaporate. The sudden blast from Jen’s attacks caused the teen to jolt in alertness, watching as the woman pummeled two enemies into vapor. A ripple was sent from the attack, causing many of the NeoShadows to stagger backwards from the damage, as well as Henoke. ”W-woah!” Keeping his footing by backpedaling, claws whooshed through the teens jacket as he felt a scratch burn on his arm.
”Tch—damn it!” Feeling a fire burning inside of him, Henoke kept his battle stance, deflecting a NeoShadows attack as he flung it into the nearest wall with a heavy strike. A small cloud had emerged over Fifi, shrouding the animated duster in sheltering water and mist. ”Tell me if the flames get near her!” Henoke nodded, glancing at Tamara from over his shoulder. She’s good! Magic wasn’t his strongest suit, causing him to be impressed by Tamara’s constant display of magic.
SNAP! Blistering ice fell upon foes across the fire ring from him, destroying two more NeoShadows and damaging others, causing Henoke to shout out with vigor as he saw Tori rushing in. The sight of Adrien and Yubel quickly caused the teen to grimace, though he shook his head as he remembered his earlier promise. That bastard’s lucky… It was only adding fuel to his fire. Whoosh! Claws rang off the steel of his Keyblade, a jarring vibration sent up his arms as Henoke fended off a NeoShadow erupting from the floor.
”Henoke!” Tori’s sudden yell caused the teen to glance away as he fended off the Heartless. ”Take everyone out of here! Adrien, Jen and I will fend these things off!” Breaking away from the struggle against the NeoShadow, Henoke turned, looking around the room wildly. ”What are you waiting for?! Get Going!” Tori’s shout echoed throughout the dungeon. Flames still spurned and ruptured around Fifi, dancing and illuminating the room with a vibrant light as the clouds above shrouded the duster from harm (well, what the others thought was harmful).
Where’s the lantern?! Ignoring Tori’s orders for the moment, Henoke rushed through the grouping enemies as his teammates continued to fight. ”Not yet! We’ve gotta get the light!” Gripping his Keyblade tightly as he hopped and ran his way through the cobblestone room, Henoke finally saw what he was searching for. ”Someone, light it!” Taking aim with his Keyblade in both hands, Henoke screwed his eyes shut as a light began to swell around him and his weapon. Summoning forth a familiar feeling, the teen felt the fire within himself reaching its peak as he summoned his strength. DING! CLANG! A radiant beam shot forth, lancing through the room from behind the fire ring, striking the shrouded lantern hanging in the corner.
Darkness recoiled as the lantern was freed from its sway, swinging noisily from the sudden attack with many creaks and clangs of rusted and old chains. Opening his eyes, Henoke shouted out as a NeoShadow lunged forward, catching him off guard. Hastily trying to block, the teen was forced down to one knee as he struggled to focus on his defense—his worst trait. S-shit! It didn’t matter! The lantern was freed! If anyone could cast a single fire spell onto it—then the enemies didn’t matter.
It was only a hunch, but Henoke had a feeling the fight was worthless without doing such a task.

Jen's gaze snapped over to the beam of Light, following it back to Henoke just in time to see him fall to his knee. Reflexively she channeled Light his way, mixed with Healing magic to create her Holy Curaga. The spell would fully heal him as it also granted him and anyone near him a shield of Light for a short time, nullifying Darkness-based attacks and halving any physical damage.
"That ought to keep them off of you for long enough, but I'm out of fire! Well," she paused to block a Neoshadow's swipe before countering with a recoil-aided punch, "I could do it, but I'd probably burn the whole place down trying."
Annoyed, she glared over at the Heartless before firing off two blasts from her gauntlets at them.
The situation was dire enough that Tamara didn't even notice her recoil from the Light that settled onto her skin. All she was focused on was dealing with what was before her, and in this case that was the lantern. A set of Fire Flowers was the best she could do there, but as she sang to grow them she analyzed the magic holding the fires together.
"Fifi, be ready to run toward me when you can." Once her flowers matured and one began firing at the lantern she wove Spirit and deftly sliced at a section of the Light flames, cutting the very magic making them. The other two flowers were guided to fire at any foes attempting to block the duster's way, but she hoped that deterrent wouldn't need using.

Tori rolled her eyes in annoyance. Not only did Henoke ignore her completely, but the other two seemed to just go with it. Were they not even aware of the sittuation at hand? Adrien seemed to have fun with it, although a quick glare from Tori was enough to stop him from chuckling obnoxiously.
"At this rate, we'll waste even more energy than against that Heartless...!" she cursed in her thought, "I know Jen can be a bit bubbly and all, especially in sittuations like this, but those two are just..."
Seeing the flowers shooting at the lanter, Adrien didn't see it necessary to use his own Foxfire against it, and instead shot it towards a nearby NewShadow, the flames quickly detonating and burning the opponent if it dared remain standing. Tori, taking deep breaths, was at wit's end.
Holding her hand forward, eyes still vivid indigo, she chanted a Thundaja spell, shooting forth a barrage of lightning bolts down to a specific area, before charging once more against the enemies. Keyblade in one hand and the broadsword as a block blade, Tori went all out. Slashing away and blocking any attacks that might get near her, she was furious.
Furious at Henoke's seemingly nonchalant attitude and his overall childish take on the subject (at least to her). Furious at Adrien for just being there. And extremely furious over the fact that no one seemed to notice Tamara's behavior overall.
"That's it -I'm done with you" she mumbled, glaring at the Heartless with an icy tone, "So just dissapear already, will ya?"
With a single horizontal strike, she tried to get rid of any remaining NeoShadows, a faint light glowing around her Keyblade as she did so. If that failed to do the trick, the she had another ace up her sleeve, the light slowly growing stronger and stronger around it, with an ever so often attempt to change forms between the current Keyblade and the reverse crystal one. Adrien stood back, an amused smirk over his lips.
"Y'know, sweetheart... You're just giving me another openin'..." he whispered to himself, "Do you want me to kill you, I wonder...? Id' be fun, just for the hell of it, too... You've gotten awful strong, that's for sure..."

[[OOC: I know that Jen's flames won't hurt allies, but since Henoke and the others don't I figured it'd be nice for dramatic effect. Also, question for the room—Is Tamara’s recoils and deterring from light actually noticeable? I was under the impression based on the posts it was more of a subtle unconscious thing even Tamara herself wasn’t really picking up on?]]
Gritting his teeth as the NeoShadow hammered against the raised Keyblade, Henoke pushed up with all his might. Just as he began to raise and fend off the Heartless, Jen’s Holy Curaga erupted around the teen, blinding him for a moment with its radiant light as he squinted and held a hand up to his eyes. Feeling the healing magic course over him and his wounds refresh, Henoke grinned as a new vigor coursed in his veins. ”That ought to keep them off you for long enough, but I’m out of fire!” The warning echoed in the blazing cobblestone room, though the sound of battle rang heavy. The powerful woman’s next blasts caused another NeoShadow to be flung backwards while another already damaged enemy disintegrated completely.
Tamara’s song echoed throughout the chamber—accompanied by the swishing of claws and the bashing of weapons as Henoke witnessed the Fire Flowers bloom. "Nice, Tamara!" So long as the lantern was lit, they could save Fifi easier. That’s how it seemed, since Cogsworth and Lumiere had described the lanterns disappearance right after the Heartless occurrence. They’d only take ‘em out if they were a nuisance. How long had Henoke spent fighting the Heartless? Long enough to figure out the method to their madness some of the time, it seemed. As the flowers erupted into life, spewing flames at both enemies and the lantern, Henoke slashed out and finally destroyed the NeoShadow he had been contending with, its heart rising into the air before vanishing to join Kingdom Hearts.
Adrien had seemed to be holding his own, damaging a NeoShadow heavily with his FoxFire ability before Tori unleashed her spell. The Thundaga spell erupted across the battlefield just as Tamara’s Fire Flower’s made contact with the lantern. The two lights caused Henoke to shield his eyes for a second time, holding up his Keyblade defensively while struck by white. ”Fifi!” Shouting out to see if the animated duster was still alive, Henoke was grateful once the blinding sensation faded. The room had instantly grown brighter as Tori’s combo unleashed destruction upon a group of NeoShadows.
”I—I’m o-okay!” A small yet determined voice rose from the fire circle in the center of the cobblestone room—already the room seemed brighter than before, the shadows seeming less dense and dark, flickering from the light of the now lit lanterns. ”Alright! Nice job, you guys!” Pumping a fist into the air in success, Henoke grinned widely as he noticed that most of the Heartless had been destroyed. Hmph—seems like this world was in luck. The chance that such a destructive party had formed was mind boggling. Even though NeoShadows were a feared enemy among many Keyblader’s on Henoke’s home-world, the group around him had managed to be succeeding.
Well, at least physically… There was a disjointedness he was feeling—especially with Adrien being there. It was aggravating, having an enemy that forced you to look over your shoulder all the time. Gripping his Keyblade tightly beside him, Henoke shook his head before glancing over to where Tori and Adrien stood. Tch—I won’t let ‘im get to me! That’s right, he wouldn’t let that guy get under his skin—besides, Tori had him under control, right? With the Heartless nearly vanquished and the lanterns lit, Henoke shouldered his Keyblade before shouting out to Fifi. "Hang tight! I'm comin' to ya!" With a devious grin on his face, the vibrant haired teen began running towards the ring of fire, knowing that the rest of the Heartless would be no problem for the allies he now stood with. A burning confidence raged in his chest as the teen dove through the air, head-first into the flames and ring of fire that surrounded Fifi, not even closing his eyes as the grin on his face widened. He would save Fifi, Belle and all the others. He had to, it was what Keyblade Wielders did, after all. Right? While Henoke vanished within the ring of flames, still casting flickering shadows across the cobblestone room littered with barrels and crates and chains, the NeoShadows continued to struggle. After the lantern was lit, swaying back and forth as it rocked on the hefty rusted chain, the enemies seemed less energetic and vicious. Though still powerful in their own rights, there was a less intimidating feeling to their attacks, the pressure seeming to have vanished from the Dungeon. It seemed that whatever the Lanterns did for the Castle, they played a pivotal role in securing Light's advantage against the Dark. Henoke's allies would find the remaining Heartless to be weaker than just a moment before, whereas they would feel a boost of energy, the attacks dealing less damage as they felt invigorated. What few NeoShadows remain would attempt to dive through the floor, erupting beneath the group in turn as they slashed and swiped with their claws. After the darkness seemed to be disrupted, the enemies began utilizing their 'melding' techniques much more frequently, almost as if to hide from the brightness.

Jen glanced over at Henoke just in time to see him dive into her flames. "You're all fine. My Light only hurts what I want it to." Well, unless something was weak to Light as is. She couldn't help that.
Glancing around, she identified the nearest Neoshadow and moved closer, baiting it into attacking. The instant it rose from the ground she'd blast it, either with the front of her gauntlets or the barrels hidden in the backs.
Tamara heard Jen's explanation and worry sparked through her. If her Light wasn't supposed to hurt her, then why was she suddenly so adverse to it? Her musing were cut short by a Heartless striking her in the back, pushing her into the nearest flame. The instant she touched it pain flared, a burning heat that felt like it seared her soul and forced a scream out of her mouth. It never touched her clothes, but that made no difference to her.
Fury filled her as she stepped away from the fire, and her hand darted to her pouch before spreading seeds across the area the Neoshadow was in. Her song was harsher, but still effective as her Lifetap Roots grew and sank into the stone, where they should draw the energy of the monster even with it unreachable by normal means. Darkness would come with it, but she no longer cared.

The remaining Neoshadows posed no threat at all. Smirking, Tori's Keyblade flared with an uncanny light as she charged forward to end the remaining Heartless. Adrien, by this point, was hanging back, wary in case enemies decided to show up from the rear. He had picked up Tamara's scream, but played it off. Tori had, as well, but she'd focus on that later.
For now, she just wanted the battle dealt with. And then punch Henoke firm in the head.
"That dumbass... It's 'cause of him we're in this mess..."
As the grim thought crossed her mind, Tori's Keyblade aimed to hit the ground where the Neoshadows were hiding, to in a sense force them out and either end them herself with a swing on her blade, or giving Jen the kill-shot. Her Judgement flared with a vivid light as the Keyblade struck agains the stone, even though she was well aware the Neoshadows wouldn't be hurt by that.
Her aim was not that, however.
The light was faintly dismissed, as Tori recovered her posture. Glaring over at Tamara, whose Lifetap Roots were aiming for the Neoshadows. With her regular blade, she dashed towards her, the edge barely ending at her neck, menacing.
"If you want no more trouble, then cut that out" she said, tone icy, "Else, I'll take this personally, right here and now. So don't make me repeat myself, got it?" "Sheesh, she's in one hell of a mood..."
Adrien looked uneasy, but with a certain intrigue behind Tori's intentions. Being honest himself, he was also intrigued as for the darkness lurking around Tamara, eager to test it himself.

Having braced himself in the air, Henoke flung through the fire with his eyes closed. Not being able to hear Jen’s explanation in time, the teen was stunned as he landed, blinking in confusion as he looked himself up and down. I’m—fine? A sudden scream broke him out of his confusion, almost as though someone were in pain. Tch—we need to end this! In the center of the ring of fire ‘stood’ Fifi, her eyes bulging in fear and panic as she looked at Henoke in surprise. ”Y-you’re here to save me?” It sounded hesitant, unsure. To be honest, it stung a little. ”Am I that underwhelming?” Sighing a bit, he forced a small smile despite it all, walking over to the animated feather duster and kneeling down, offering a hand.
”C’mon, we’re all getting you outta here.” Not having any arms, Fifi was limited to facial expressions in form of gratitude. Bowing slightly and forcing back small tears, the feather duster hopped up into Henoke’s arms as they turned to leave. ”Don’t worry—I don’t think the flames’ll hurt us.” He had been fine going through, but was that because of his Keyblade or because it was Jen’s magic? Despite sounding confident, while looking at the all too alive flames, Henoke felt a pang of hesitation. He was carrying a feather-duster, after all.
Weren’t those hella flammable?
While Jen decimated a NeoShadow with brutal strength, Tori’s Keyblade would cause the light in the room to brighten, flaring around the weapon as she ran through enemy after enemy. While Tamara’s Lifetap Roots began to ensnare the attacking NeoShadow, Tori’s follow-up Judgement would ruin the remaining Heartless. ”AAAAAIIIIEEEEEEE!” A shrill cry pierced the sudden calm as Henoke and Fifi emerged from the ring of fire. Landing in a slight stumble but maintaining his balance, Henoke sighed in relief as he set the unharmed Fifi back on the ground. Though he’d never admit it, his heart had been pounding.
Well—it went fine… Looking up as he straightened himself, the teen would shout out in surprise as his eyes locked on Tori aiming a sword at Tamara. There were no Heartless around, but it seemed he had missed something important while rescuing Fifi! ”Oi! What’s going on?!” Summoning his Keyblade in a burst of light as he rushed forth, the fiery teen would interrupt the menacing moment, dashing forward to smack away Tori’s broadsword with his hefty weapon. Whether she dodged or not, Henoke would barge between the two, dismissing his weapon as he crossed his arms, glancing between both with an angry glare.
”The hell’re you two fighting about?!” His gaze darted over to Adrien for a moment. Initially having thought perhaps it was some work of his, Henoke was surprised to see the boy in green standing idly by, watching without the slightest hint of involvement. If he didn’t cause it…?
Then what was happening?
