[[THIS THREAD IS CLOSED--but the plot is open! If any reading are interested in joining the Organization Nixir is aiming to rebuild, please go to this thread to read more! The official 'Roster' is here, showing the current members already in the HEART Organization as well as those planning on being recruited.]] Echoes drifted across the vacant city, neon lights illuminating the paved streets and lots that spanned for eternity, occasional yellow eyes littering the shadows of the alleyways. Nixir walked down the long ramp extended from the ancient castle, floating in the dark sky above the city, jutting out in countless odd angles and pillars. Flap! Flap! The long black cloak he wore flapped towards the bottom, where the zipper remained open to reveal the black pants and boots he wore. The hood of the cloak was down, revealing Nixir’s bright hair and magenta gaze as his boots thudded against the pavement of the ground. For a moment, the Nobody took in a breath of stale air that hung like a curtain over the empty city. Where was the presence he sensed? He hadn’t chosen to stick around this world much longer, but the sudden presence he had felt here had given him cause for intrigue. How long has it been since I left that castle? For a moment, the man turned to look over his shoulder at the suspending mansion. Funny--I still feel nothing. He had truly anticipated some form of anxiety to come over him, having not left the walls of the castle for so long. I suppose lacking a heart has some perks. The joke was stale like the air around him, even in his own thoughts, he couldn't laugh at it. Overall, if he could feel anything, he’d say his mood had taken a turn for the worse. Luckily, he couldn’t; not the irony, sarcasm, loathing, none of it. Shrugging his shoulders a bit, Nixir continued his gait as he made his way down a narrow alleyway that led deeper into the city. Time to focus-- There was work to be done. The Organization wouldn’t rebuild itself, after all. Though Nixir was ready to leave this empty world, the new presence he had felt gave him an idea. According to the data...Nobodies are typically birthed on worlds like these. Perhaps he would find his first recruit? Having spent so much time in the castle, Nixir had studied and dedicated his time to the multiple libraries and computer systems within. All had been operational, the castle itself seemingly running for eternity, allowing the Nobody to take his time in learning all he needed to. Worlds such as the one he resided on, as well as the one his old self had been raised on, were between the realms of Light and Darkness. These were the types of worlds that Nobodies such as himself were birthed on. Never one to pass up opportunity, Nixir figured there was a small chance the presence he felt was either a newly formed or returning Nobody, sympathetic towards his cause. It never hurts to be thorough in one’s passions~ This time, the man laughed loudly as he came upon an open plaza, an impossibly tall skyscraper jutting into the sky, illuminated with neon lights. ”Ha! As though I have any claim to passion, anymore!” Luckily he couldn’t feel depressed about the situation, though his laughter wasn’t genuine, either. That was a force of habit. A personality ‘tick’. The information had spoken of that as well. There would be times he might fool himself or even others into thinking he had a heart, but these were all just habitual, based off his own memories. Sighing a bit, Nixir looked around the plaza. There were countless streets and alleyways he could go down from this point, but where to start? He had sensed the sudden presence invading this otherwise vacant world, but couldn’t pinpoint it. Frustrated, the Nobody’s magenta eyes scanned the city. Where are they? Not wanting to waste too much time, Nixir extended one of his gloved hands. In front of him where his hand pointed, a small portal of nothingness appeared, summoning forth a troupe of 5 Dusk Nobodies. "Go! Find whoever it is I'm sensing!" With that, the twisting silver creatures leapt through the air, almost as though swimming, they twitched and lurched through the sky like snakes as they departed. Each had gone down a different alleyway, all with the same goal burned into their beings. Wherever this sudden presence was, Nixir would find it. Now to hope they're friendly... Not lacking in confidence of his own abilities, Nixir still detested combat. He was aiming to find an ally, not something to tire himself out with.

[Note: This takes place right after Riley and Xiyrel's second battle]
A dark purple flash appeared in one of the alleyways as Xiyrel appeared in the world. He nearly fell flat on his face if he didn't quickly put his right hand against the wall. Blood smeared against the wall and his hand slipped a bit, and blood quickly dripped onto the ground where Xiyrel was barely standing. He was badly injured, with his head bleeding and having a hole in his chest. His vision was blurry and he was heavily panting. "Damn that Riley," he said with as much anger as he could have in the weakened state he was in.
None of it made any sense, Xiyrel and Riley's Heartless were in complete control of the fight they had prior to this one, yet somehow they had to be spared in the fight in Sanfransokyo. If you could even call having a hole punched through your chest being spared. How could he have just leapfrogged over them in just a single month?! The very thought made Xiyrel's blood boil. Xiyrel punched the wall, which made him fall to one knee. His breathing got easier as his injuries were slowly healing. It was clear that if he was ever going to achieve of his of harnessing the power of Kingdom Hearts he would need more help than he originally believed. As much as it pained him to admit it one more fight like that and he would surely be killed. The very thought of having to team up with people sickened him. How could he, who has command over time itself, be forced to seek out help? It was disgraceful.
Before he could rant about his fall from grace any further he sensed some other Nobodies in this world. "Great now what?" he groaned. The last thing he needed was another fight so soon, but he refused to let his plans be set back any further. Not wanting a direct conflict Xiyrel slowly flew up to the top of one of the lower buildings to get a better understanding of the situation. It looked like a few Dusks were looking for something, or someone. Was it possible someone else had been in this world while he was away? Still healing from his injuries Xiyrel decided to wait and let himself be found. He needed to conserve all the energy he had in case the worst happened. He walked closer to the edge so that the neon lights would illuminate him better. Perhaps this could be the chance for him to gain his first new ally if he played his cards right. Just about anyone could be useful in furthering his master plan if given the right role to play.

Nixir stood in the open plaza at the foot of an impossibly tall skyscraper, illuminated with neon lights that spanned its entirety. Were his initial thoughts correct? Had another Nobody been formed—or simply appeared? Deciding it would be best to have a better vantage point, the cloaked Nobody stretched out an open hand, reaching into the darkness. A swirling portal emerged, which the tall man stepped through—reappearing at the top of the building he had just been standing beside. From this perspective, Nixir could make out the vast and empty world sprawling around him, tall buildings illuminated with harsh neon lights, casting heavy and impossibly dark shadows across the concrete and pavement.
It was at this vantage point that the Nobody’s gaze fell on the faint silhouette of a figure. ”You've a visitor—my lord.” An empty voice filled his mind—his Dusks reporting back to him. Tch—useless things! I see them already! Truly this was the main reason he needed real help. The low level creatures he could command were basically just bodies. With a dejected sigh, Nixir pinched the bridge of his nose in frustration as he sent out his mental command. ”Then lead them here—fast!” Impatience was not something he could really feel anymore—but Nixir still hated anything stalling his goals. Already, precious time had been wasted on simply finding the location of this newcomer.
Ah…to have more of it… He could always make it stop, to last longer—but his powers weren’t great enough to span the kind of distance between himself and the stranger across the city. Sighing in frustration, Nixir allowed himself to sit on the edge of the building, allowing one leg to drape over the ledge as his other foot propped against it. Draping an arm over his lifted knee, the Nobody peered out at the stranger in the distance, eager for his Dusk to lead them over to him.
Time to determine if we can work together…
At the base of the short building Xiyrel stood on, recovering from his wounds, a single Dusk snaked its way through the air to gaze up at him. The others had already made their way back towards their Master, disappearing back into the Nothingness they had been called from. Despite the distance between the two beings, Xiyrel would hear an empty, monotone voice enter his mind as the being spoke. The zipper that formed its mouth hadn't moved much at all.
”Follow me...you’ve been summoned, by my Liege.”
Regardless of Xiyrel’s reaction, the Nobody would begin to snake its way towards the tallest structure in the city (other than the menacing floating castle, a speck in the distance). Weaving its way through the tall and shining buildings, the Dusk would fly above the alleyways, allowing Xiyrel to either follow it or exterminate it at will.
It had no feelings or thoughts other than its orders, after all.

Xiyrel was surprised that the dusk didn't try to attack him, but was more concerned with someone wanting to see him. He was often mistaken for one of his two somebodies depending on what form he was in, so there was the possibility they were looking for one of them instead. He quickly decided it didn't matter, he was in no mood for another fight so soon so he might as well see what they wanted with him. "Fine, I'll play this little game."
Xiyrel started floating to follow the Dusk to its master, blood dripping from his chest and falling all the way to the streets below as he did. By now the hole in his chest was a lot smaller than a few minutes ago and his vision was back to normal. He would have to be angry about his fight later, first he wanted to know what kind of person was hiding out in this world. Not too many people were fond of this world, or knew about it for that matter. Xiyrel had hid here himself for a while not too long ago, so at least this person had good taste. Maybe they could get along after all.
Xiyrel found the skyscraper the person in question was sitting on, and he decided to just float a few yards away from him. "Should have guessed it would have been another Nobody," he said as he got a better look at the man. "Most other types of people don't like this world enough to stay here willingly." The man could already control lesser Nobodies on his own, so there was no way he was a fresh one. "You control Dusks too greatly to have been made recently, so I can only guess that you just like it in this world, or that you can't find a place on another." He crossed his arms. "So that only leaves the question of what do you want with me.."
Xiyrel's tail flicked behind him as he uncrossed his arms. He had only met a few other Nobodies during the few years he had been alive, but only a few actually looked like a person like the two of them. He had no memory of anyone who looked like him, so if he knew his somebody it had to had been recent. If he wanted him dead the Dusks would have at least tried to attack him, so that was also ruled out. Xiyrel wouldn't give away anything about him unless he absolutely had to, so he decided to just wait for an answer before giving anything away.

Once the stranger got closer, Nixir was surprised to see it seemed they weren’t in a very good state. With a wound freely bleeding from their chest, as well as their overall appearance being rather disheveled, Nixir wondered where this stranger had come from. Wherever it was, it doesn’t seem like a voyage worth making. Not with anything that could do that much damage to someone like them. From the presence alone, he knew this being before him as a fellow Nobody. As Xiyrel floated in the air to hover before Nixir, far enough away for caution but close enough to make each other out, his voice broke the heavy silence that was usual on this world. ”Should have guessed it would have been another Nobody,” It seemed they were on the same page.
Well, that’s a convenient start. He was lucky. Already it seemed they thought similarly. Xiyrel was correct in his following observation—Nixir had existed long enough to understand himself and the situation he was in. Throughout his time on this vacant world, he had come to understand his abilities and what it meant to be a ‘Nobody’—shortly after that, the lesser Nobody had begun to listen and obey him. The stronger ones would come soon enough… ”So that only leaves the question of what you want with me…” Nixir eyed up the stranger, it seemed his wounds were already beginning to heal. Whoever they are, they’re strong. Despite the state they had originally arrived in, Nixir wouldn’t be looking for a fight with this one—they seemed powerful.
That—and he didn’t much care for violence.
Habitually, a grin formed on the edges of Nixir’s lips, a trait of his memory playing up his falsehood. Waving a hand a bit—the Nobody’s voice seemed relaxed and lighthearted. ”Hm—you’re a deductive one.” Raising from his sitting position on the ledge of the building, Nixir placed a hand on his chest while waving out his other in the air at his side. With that, he gave a short bow. A moderate respect. ”Indeed—that really is the only question worth asking.” Looking up from his bow, Nixir’s face fixed into a stony expression. ”I was curious, who would suddenly arrive here of all places? As you say, it’s a rather desolate location—I myself was preparing to leave…”
Straightening himself, the Nobody fixed a smile onto his face, his eyes still taking in Xiyrel as though composing a portrait. Their tail and ears would certainly be entertaining to paint—if he felt such things as entertainment anymore. Sighing at the thought, cursed by a false sense of yearning for what once was, Nixir placed a hand on his hip, leaning his weight to one side. ”You hardly seem newborn, yourself—“ Pointing at the healing wound on Xiyrel’s chest, Nixir flashed another smile at the Nobody out of habit. ”Though it seems you’ve had better days.” How annoying, these personality ticks were. It almost sounded like he was a genuine human. It was truly sickening.
”Not to say it’s not impressive—you do appear more than capable.” Ah—he had been so excited he had nearly forgotten—wait, could he feel excitement? Wasn’t it just a false sense? Another personality trait? ”I’m Nixir.” Introductions were important. They built trust. Being forthcoming was important for establishing a base. Nixir was grateful that his Somebody had not been a total novice in social engagement. He figured he should ask the question, given how strong this one seemed. ”Tell me, have you heard of something called ‘Kingdom Hearts’?” Standing there on the building ledge, Nixir’s eyes focused on the one before them. His face was rather serious, his gaze intense as he folded his hands behind his back.
The moment had come—he couldn’t waste too much time.

This Nobody had potential. He reminded Xiyrel of himself when he was first created four years ago. When Nixir commented on his condition Xiyrel couldn't help but feel the same anger he felt just a few minutes ago. His somebody getting the better of him in Sanfransokyo, the fact some fifteen year old girl managed to match him in power and nearly kill him, his plans being set back by months if not years, losing his other selves in that battle, all these facts were burning inside his mind. The fact some girl managed to put him in such a state was bad enough, everything else was just salt on the wound.
Xiyrel had to collect himself to stay focused on what was happening now. He would have to take out his anger about his recent failings at a later time. When Nixir asked him about Kingdom Hearts his eyes lit up a bit. It was just what he needed to hear. Maybe his plans weren't in complete ruins, maybe he didn't have to start all over after all. "Of course I know about Kingdom Hearts," Xiyrel scoffed. He shook his head. He needed all the help he could get if he was going to match that damn brat. "Let's keep it simple. Long story short I'm the Nobody of the most dangerous Keyblade Master, and I was also trained to become a Keyblade Master myself." He crossed his arms as he did his best to remember the past four years. "My Master taught me everything I needed to know in order to enact a plan to harness the power of Kingdom Hearts. It was the goal I have spent most of my life working to achieve, that was until I ended up in another intense battle with my somebody; we're one of those special cases where we both exist on our own at the same time. As you can see I lost that battle, due to his new boost his power and that stupid brat he calls a granddaughter."
Xiyrel had to take a few deep breaths to calm himself. The last thing he wanted to think about was that girl. "I lost my other selves in that battle, but not all was lost though,". He thought for a minute. Was he really willing to let someone else, someone he just met at that, in on his life goal? Up until today he was sure he and his other selves would be more than enough to get the job done. He, who possessed the power to stop the world, shouldn't have been brought so low in the first place. No, he would not let his own pride get the better of him this time. It was his pride that nearly got him killed. If he had only trained harder, worked smarter, today would have gone different. Next time that brat wouldn't be so lucky. Next time he would have the power of Kingdom Hearts itself, and powerful new allies at his side. He would make sure of it. "I still have what would be needed in order to get the hearts needed to form Kingdom Hearts. All I require are allies who will know what to do with that power once we have it, ones with clear goals"
Xiyrel looked at Nixir. "You aren't like me; you don't seem to have a heart yet. But like that Nobody that's traveling with my Somebody you can at least show slivers of emotion." Most Nobodies who talked about Kingdom Hearts were after a heart of their own. He just guessed that Nixir was after the same thing. "With Kingdom Hearts you could feel all those precious emotions you used to feel, regain your memories, find your purpose in life. But are you willing to do whatever it takes to get it? Many have tried before us, and many have failed for one reason or another. Together we could reach it, we could do anything with that power. We will need a base of operations and more allies who share the same goal and drive as us." It was now up to Nixir to know if he was up to the task at hand. It would be a long road, but their goal was as clear as day.

”Of course I know about Kingdom Hearts,” Xiyrel's voice echoed across the vast empty darkness that encased them. Only the neon lights of the buildings allowed sight. The two cloaked figures stood across from one another atop the sky scraper, a stoic visage. Immediately Nixir’s gaze pierced Xiyrel, his eyes nearly showing a state of hunger. A wide grin snaked its way across the Nobody’s face as Xiyrel continued to explain his own depth of knowledge around Kingdom Hearts, Keyblade as well as Somebody’s and Nobody’s. !!! He hadn’t expected to get this lucky, and so quickly! For a moment, Nixir was gripped by some imitation so strong he was nearly convinced he had found a heart. With my knowledge and his skill—I’d gain a heart in no time! He couldn’t rush, though. Impatience was every artist’s despair. Upon Xiyrel’s inspection, it seemed the Nobody had been exposed as lacking a heart. Wasn’t that obvious, though? Would one still be a Nobody with a heart? The data…didn’t mention this… If he were still a human, what he’d have felt just then would have been curiosity. Instead, it was merely another blip of a thought tucked away for later.
”With Kingdom Hearts you could feel all those precious emotions you used to feel, regain your memories, find your purpose in life. But are you willing to do whatever it takes to get it? Many have tried before us, and many have failed for one reason or another.” Nodding along with Xiyrel’s questions and comments, Nixir found himself cementing his decision. This Nobody is a valuable asset! No matter what happened, he had to ensure this partnership worked. With a Keyblade Master at my side, this’ll be easy! Even if they are a Nobody! With a look of confidence, Nixir ran a hand through his pale teal hair, his magenta eyes flashing. ”It seems you're full of surprises—and good ones, at that. Indeed, many have tried and failed, but unlike many—I learn from history. I don't repeat it.” Holding out a hand, Nixir’s grin widened, though his eyes remained hollow and empty. "As for explaining what I know and my plans...well, we have all the time in the world, for that."
”I do believe our goals align perfectly. Before I go on, though—do tell me, what is your name.” Before giving up the information he had strived so hard to gather, Nixir would need to know the name of this apparent partner of his.

Surprises? That would have to be something they would have to use to their advantage. If they were to achieve their goals they would have to work from the shadows whenever possible. Maybe he should be less obvious about his ability to wield Keyblades after this. After all the last thing they needed was too many people being aware of what they were up to. "My named is Xiyrel," he said taking his hand and shaking it. "To learn from the mistakes of those who tried before us shall be our greatest advantage. That and no one knowing what we're up to. We shall finally see what what one can achieve with Kingdom Hearts."
As the two Nobodies spoke a small orb of darkness came out of Xiyrel's pocket. It started to fly around him before stopping next to him. The orb slowly faded revealing a small female fairy that was three inches tall. She had long purple hair and her eyes were completely red with no pupils. It was Celeste, who for the past four years had been secretly working for Xiyrel while she was with another group of people. "What Xiyrel says is true," She said looking at Nixir. "Together we could finally see what happens when Nobodies use a completed Kingdom Hearts." It was something she always wondered the end result would be. By the time she had met Xiyrel he had already obtained hearts, so this was the only way to see it firsthand. "My name is Celeste. All you really need to know about me is that Xiyrel and I have been working together for a few years now, and that I can be a very useful spy. While this world is usually empty this is no place to discuss our plans. Why don't we talk this over in that fabled castle I've heard so much about?"

“My name is Xiyrel.” The introduction was a good one—as immediately the Nobody’s name struck a chord of recognition within Nixir. So, just like I, they’ve retaken their true name. It was a gesture he appreciated, as it only further proved their alignment despite the chance meeting. “We shall finally see what one can achieve with Kingdom Hearts.”
If Nixir was still a human with a heart, he’d have goosebumps.
Kingdom Hearts…! The very mention nearly made him forget his poor hand in life (afterlife?). ”Indeed. This is the beginning to something beautiful.” If only he could truly be moved. Everything was beginning to come together. Another puzzle piece fit perfectly on the table.
With the Nobody before him, a Keyblade user of all things, Nixir felt a sense of (fake) confidence that only reassured his (false) ambitions. Whereas the original Organization had the difficulty of fighting with their ‘Keys’, he himself planned on being ‘equipped’ with them, so to speak. If the one with the Key was on board, their mission became much easier.
Wooooooon…. A small dark orb began to emerge, floating free from somewhere on Xiyrel’s person. Wondering what it was, the Nobody raised a brow in feigned intrigue as a small being was revealed, floating up to hover in eyesight.
“What Xiyrel says is true.” The tiny entity was a woman with peculiar hair and an even more bizarre stare. For a moment, Nixir fixed their gaze in astute focus. They’d make for an interesting muse… Especially with those translucent wings. “My name is Celeste—“ While the small fairy explained their connection to Xiyrel, Nixir had to silently give credit where it was due.
I hadn’t sensed them at all… Though he’s sensed Xiyrel upon their entrance, the hidden entity lurking in their pocket had eluded his attention. They clearly weren’t joking about being a useful spy. Despite the emptiness permeating his entity, Nixir felt the faint imitation of excitement and anticipation. Another useful tool. Things were really working in his favor today.
“Why don’t we talk this over in that fabled castle I’ve heard so much about?” Celeste’s comment caused Nixir to bow graciously, straightening to receive both Xiyrel and the fairy.
”Absolutely. Please, allow me.” Reaching out into the air behind him, the Nobody summoned a large portal crafted from darkness. ”By all means, after you.” Gesturing to the swirling black vortex behind him, Nixir stepped aside to allow both Celeste and Xiyrel the shortcut to the castle. Once both stepped (and flew) through, he’d follow.
[BREAK]
Emerging from the Corridor of Darkness, the three would find themselves in a massive room of white and gray, with ceilings so high they were nearly out of sight. Tall gray slanted bridges with see-through glass slides adorned the room on each side, giving a glimpse of the vast staircases and other rooms that wound through the massive floating structure.
”Welcome. Though I myself am just a guest here.” Gesturing to the room around them, the other two would find the area they were in was styled as a lounge. With stark white couches and chairs with see-through glass tables adorned throughout, they’d be able to get comfortable while talking if they so wished. ”I’d offer refreshments, but there are none. Beings like us have little need for such trivialities…for now.”
He feigned a chuckle at his own dry joke.
One of their more annoying personality ‘ticks’.
”Now, as you mentioned—I hardly plan on repeating the mistakes of those before us. ‘Working in the shadows’, as you put it, is absolutely my main goal.” Nixir himself took a seat on one of the vacant white couches, draping one leg over the other with a faint flap! of the long black cloak he wore. ”Though I’ve been gathering strength and learning what I need to for our aspiration of ‘Kingdom Hearts’, this is just a resting ground. Before you arrived, I had been preparing to leave, as I mentioned.”
He’d have to be as honest as possible, if he hoped to maintain trust and a sense of partnership. ”Originally, I was planning on seeking one of these ‘keys’ that the data spoke of—though with you wielding one yourself, our work should come along much easier.” It was a boon he hadn’t accounted for. ”That being said, I don’t believe it wise to solely rely on one individual.” Gazing between Celeste and Xiyrel, Nixir’s lofty magenta gaze hardened in a (fake) look of seriousness and determination.
”My plan is to voyage to other worlds, in hopes of finding some with these ‘Keyblades’, though I don’t plan on meeting any.” Well, he hadn’t, until Xiyrel arrived. There were always variables in every plan, and the Nobody focused more on being grateful (in what way he could) for the fact his first was a blessing.
”Unlike the Organization before us, my goal is to operate within our agenda without these ‘Key-Bearers’ being aware. I’m sure you’re familiar with the Heartless?” It was a rhetorical question. Given Xiyrel’s position, he was bound to be. Knowing this, Nixir pressed on before hearing an answer. ”They merely follow the strongest, poor mindless creatures that they are…” During his life as a Somebody, this had been one of the reasons he’d been allured to the demons as a subject for his art.
”Once we find another ‘Key’, my plan is to unleashed the Heartless on that world to let them run rampant. This should force them to stay in one place and aid the world under attack, while also aiding us.” Leaning back in his seat, he clasped both gloved hands together calmly. ”The data didn’t betray just how many hearts are necessary, thus I hope to find multiple ‘keys’ throughout the worlds.” He paused, pursing his lips slightly.
”That said, I’ve actually been to no other worlds but this one—and the one my ‘real’ self had once inhabited.” With a false sigh, Nixir held up his hands before recollecting himself. ”As you know, little else come here but Hearless and Nobodies. This is why I believe the castle to be the best ‘base of operations’, so to speak. Though it appears to have been stormed long ago, it doesn’t seem anyone else has discovered this world worth noting.”
Now it was time for the closing pitch. ”I hope to build numbers—gathering other powerful Nobody or any who have skills we may need. Of course, seeing as how you’ve found me in the ground stages, I consider us peers. With both of our knowledge and skills, it should be easy work to recruit and maintain order among a small faction.” Xiyrel most likely already knew it, but they had become a sudden and essential part of his plan.
Knowing they were after the same goal, it made sense to share ownership of this endeavor, from a practical viewpoint. ”Of course, with the capabilities you have, you hardly have to get stuck with recruiting.” He’d be an idiot to try and waste such talents on a small and exhausting task, no matter how pivotal. ”With your own ‘key’, you’d be able to freely go to worlds housing the most Heartless, freeing hearts for our greater good on your own, yes?”
Whether or not Xiyrel would agree to his plan was another matter. He tried to sweeten the deal. ”Surely with you adding to the supply, our task would be accomplished far quicker than anticipated. Especially once we add more to our ranks.” Feigning a sheepish smile, Nixir scratched at his cheek for a moment, waving a hand abysmally. ”Forgive me—I tend to rant. So, what say you, Xiyrel? Celeste?” Looking between the two, he waited for their answers.
It was time to see if his planning would pay off.
Of course, he never put all his eggs in one basket. If for any reason the two found his terms unsatisfactory, he’d be happy to revisit. Worst case scenario, he’d be back to square one.
It was time to be bold!

Nixir's reaction to Celeste was perfect, it meant she was still the best choice for spying on people and going unnoticed. Though she was going to do anything to make this plan work she still wanted to be in a more indirect role for now. The longer she can just remain a spy and a healer the better. With the portal open Xiyrel and Celeste looked at each other. Celeste would land on Xiyrel's shoulder before he went through it.
Finally seeing the castle they've heard about so much, Xiyrel thought it wouldn't feel so empty. Though he guessed it made sense given the name of this place. If it was painted a different color he wouldn't mind moving here.
Celeste left Xiyrel's shoulder and flew around a bit, inspecting the place for anything noteworthy. Knowing what she knew about the place the chance of anything they needed being left behind were slim, but it was still a nice thought to have. Once Nixir joined them it was time to get to work. Xiyrel chose to remain standing as Nixir explained his plans and what he learned from the data.
Celeste went back to being on Xiyrel's shoulder as she listened. She wondered just how much Nixir knew about the past events that happened here. Given how long ago it was she still only came across a few who knew of them. It was a good plan, what Nixir really lacked, besides a heart, was memories of his past self that could have been useful, and a key of his own to help reach his goals. Lucky for him she and Xiyrel had plenty of that as he will soon learn.
"I agree on finding a better place to use as a hideout," Celeste said being the first to speak. "Far too many people end up coming to this world, either by chance or they do dealings here so no one can witness it." She thought about the other worlds she knew of while on her travels and which ones were still left. "There are worlds out there better suited to use as base, those with only plant life on them for one reason or another. Mostly unmarked on most maps would make them the perfect hiding place."
Celeste thought about everything she did the past four years in order to get to this point, all the spying and working behind the scenes she had to do. All the hearts she had gotten in exchange for her hard work finally bringing her closer to her goal than she has ever been in so long. How it was all almost taken from her in the battle they just came from. She could not afford another set back, not after how far she's come and how many times she's had to start over from square one. If she was finally going to get to the next step of her plan she would have to use every person she came across that would help her, every tactic they could come up with, and all resources available to her. She gave Xiyrel a look.
Xiyrel finally stepped in. "Well in that case we have good news and some bad news. First the good news. We already have two other keys that travel with us; one is Evalin; the third of our relationship who's been with us for some years now. While not a master yet she is very skilled with her blade and honey abilities. She will be a very valuable asset when it comes to getting the hearts we need."
"The other is Kai Shien," Celeste explained. "He's someone who was part of a group people I was spying on for four years for some people we were working with. To keep it sort he's no longer a part of that group of people and has joined us. Though he just obtained his Keyblade in the battle we just came from he has been a swordsmen for years. Though this is where the bad news comes in. He lost his dominant arm in the battle; cut off permanently by Xiyrel's somebody. So he's won't be as skilled with the blade as he should be until he's trained to use his other arm. But once that happens he will become an irreplaceable asset to our cause. The power he has just obtained is great and will only because stronger once he learns how to master it and use it in other ways."
"The other bad news is I lost one of my hearts in that same battle." Xiyrel said with a hint of anger. "Normally Nobodies are unable to wield Keyblades due to the lack of a heart, but I was one of those special cases where some of my other self's heart lied within me and allowed me to obtain a key of my own. I thought something like this would happen one day so I have taken a select few hearts from our collection to become one with me. From this I've gained other keys, so what effect losing my other's heart has on me won't be known until I'm pushed to a certain limit."
Celeste was never going to forgive Riley if losing that heart caused a major setback. What effect it would have would remain unknown for a while, so for now they just had to focus on moving forward with what they had. "Though we can end this on some good news. We do already possess a collection of hearts. Some obtained from our travels on our way to our goal of making a Kingdom Hearts of our own, and others gained from our most recent job with my spying. With the number needed still being unknown we still have a long way to go even with our current numbers."
Celeste's body glowed as her body suddenly grew to be four feet tall. Adjusting to being a normal size for a bit she thought about the best way to approach things. "As you can probably already tell I am best suited to be an intelligence agent. Spying on things and gathering intel suits me better than being in the action, though I can still be an effective healer. I will serve as our main intel agent, scouting out worlds and potential allies, taking care of things behind the scenes, acting as a guide, those sort of things. I will also act as the main advisor, seeing how we should move and what the next steps should be. How to go about dealing with each world as each will need it's own special approach. Assigning missions to members should also fall to me as I am good as seeing where one's abilities can shine. Xiyrel can be one of our main collectors; taking out boss level heartless and collecting the hearts from the heartless and people who get in our way. Evalin can do the same once she is brought up to speed on how we're going to move. You can act as our Leader, also giving advise to people while also getting your hands dirty on attaching heartless to these worlds we pick out. It's better that we are seen as just other members that have joined your cause. Xiyrel being a rare case of being able to wield keys tends to draw the attention of Keyblade wielders who feel that taking out all Nobodies is their duty, and also the attention of those who don't take kindly to oddities."
"We should first focus on expanding our group," Xiyrel said finally relaxing fully on one of the couches. "Other Nobodies that need a heart and Keybladers who are sympathetic to our cause would be best. Though we will have to be very careful in who we recruit. Too many people can't be aware of what we are up to, and even one wrong person learning of us can cause the entire thing to fail."
Celeste went back to her smaller fairy form as she started flying around Xiyrel before landing on his shoulder. "There are already a few worlds I have been observing from afar in my research. A group of worlds filled with a countless amount of Keyblade Masters and those who train under them to become one. They would be the perfect starting place for our plans once we increase our numbers. Heartless and other creatures already appear there naturally should our actions could go unnoticed as long as we don't go overboard." She started to already plan out which order they should approach them. "I would simply have to recheck in on how things are going on those worlds when we are ready to move forward with gathering more hearts. What do you think of this approach Nixir?"

Wearing a smile he couldn't feel, Nixir noted how both guests seemed to be open to his pitch. So far, so good... Hearing Celeste mention how the world they were on was hardly as quiet as he'd been led to believe, a new challenge presented itself.
Where would they 'set up shop', so to speak?
Pondering this new suggestion, the Nobody with magenta eyes continued to listen intently as Xiyrel stepped in with some good news. "We already have two other keys who travel with us..." Nixir could hardly believe his ears!
Three keys from the start?! If he still had a heart, it would have been leaping and doing somersaults! This was a far better start than he had ever imagined. Of course, not all things could be so easy--as it seemed one of the 'keys' Xiyrel mentioned was gravely wounded. It didn't dampen the news too much, as they still sounded like a capable swordsman...
That, and beggars couldn't be chooser's.
He'd take whatever keys he could find. It seemed Xiyrel themselves had suffered a rather devastating wound as well, losing a heart in the battle they had emerged from. Remembering the site of the other Nobody when they first arrived on this world, Nixir wasn't too surprised.
The wounds had looked bad...
"We do already possess a collection of hearts." Celeste swooped in with more good news. Though the amount needed was still an unknown variable, it always helped to have a cushion. It seemed Nixir had truly come across some capable partners.
Listening to the glowing sprite's explanation, the Nobody listened and nodded along from their spot on the couch. Truthfully, the assignment of roles was helpful, as Nixir hadn't truly expected to come across such helpful individuals right away. Hearing about different members strengths, weaknesses and where they'd work best was a strategy he couldn't find any flaw in.
"We should first focus on expanding our group." Xiyrel had finally taken a seat as well, both pretenders feigning a sense of lackadaisical whimsy as they spoke.
"We certainly think alike~" He gave a false chuckle at his new partner, mimicking the feeling of camaraderie at the fact both of them were on the same page.
"There are already a few worlds I have been observing from afar in my research." Celeste continued to provide essential intel as they rested on Xiyrel's shoulder. Truthfully, Nixir couldn't help but note the ability to freely alter one's size was certainly a great skill for a stealthy agent to have.
The fairy's offer was indeed a tempting one, though one thing gnawed at the back of the artist's cautious mind. "It certainly seems like a world worth investigating...though we'll want to be mindful. Too many keys in one place may indeed become our undoing." The Nobody's face resembled a grimace, the seriousness of the situation clear in his tone.
"Of course, I believe you to be capable. Just make sure not to draw any attention to yourself while there..." Though cautious, Nixir wasn't brazen enough to suggest Celeste wasn't a capable spy. Glancing between the two, the 'Leader' decided it was the best course of action.
"While you check in on that world, I believe it'd be best to search for one that would make for a good base of operations, considering the state of this world, as we mentioned..." Despite having the means to traverse the worlds that awaited him, Nixir hadn't been to any. Because of this, without the proper guide, he'd be forced to explore at random.
"So while you go and gather some information, Celeste--Xiyrel and I can work on solidifying our gathering point. Once we've established that, we can truly begin our work." It had sounded like the pair had a good amount of traveling under their belt. Hopefully a few places would come to mind.
That is, if they found the plan agreeable, of course.
If Xiyrel was against assisting him in the task, Nixir wouldn't hesitate to find a suitable 'home-base' by himself--though it would admittedly take longer. That fact alone was a source of pressure to the Nobody, who loathed wasting time.
Hopefully, he'd get the assistance needed to speed up the process...

Celeste listened to Nixir's reasoning and suggested course of action. Already he was proving to be a well suited leader. That was good, she could stick to intel and doing stuff behind the scenes. She then remembered something; in the effort to escape the battle they just came from they had left behind Kai. She had gone through too much to bring him to their side to just lose him after one battle. Plus with the new power he had just obtained he was invaluable to the team and their effort. She got off of Xiyrel's shoulder and hovered in the air.
"Splitting up is the best way to avoid drawing too much attention to ourselves anyway," Xiyrel added. "And moving down the to do list faster. If we want to bring people to our cause we must show them that we are worthy of joining." Having been with Celeste the past few years he knew far too well what it was like to watch people back stab each other and join other causes if it helped them in their own goals. That was the way they were able to get Kai to join them. If they could just get a few more people like him, or people who just wanted a heart that badly, nothing could stand in their way.
"That's right but before you two go base searching there's one other thing that must be taken care of." Celeste looked at both of them. "Kai and Evalyn must be informed on these new updates. We left Kai back in San Fransokyo, so I want you two to go there first and pick him up. Bring him up to speed on what's going on then have him accompany you on your world search. I will inform Evalyn on what's going on and have her join you as well. Try not to draw too much attention to yourselves, some Keyblade wielders don't don't too kindly to Nobodies. Try to avoid conflict as much as you can, but if it comes down to a fight depose of them swiftly. I'll join you as soon as I gather the intel I need. Until then." Celeste's body was wrapped in energy until she completely disappeared.
Xiyrel had almost forgotten about Kai. One couldn't blame him with the sate he was left in by the end of the battle. He finally stood back up and sighed. "Come on, let's go get him." he told Nixir. "He will understand why we had to leave in such a hurry since we were both left in similar states. He can be a little hot headed but he'll still listen to reason. My other self should already be gone; something about needing to deal with other people before someone else catches up with him. With what was left in me of him taken back there should be no reason for him to engage us even if we do run into him."
He was about to teleport away when he remembered something; Nixir had mentioned that this was the only world he had been since he came into nonexistence. It was likely that he didn't know how to travel between worlds, and if he did it was likely he had no idea where San Fransokyo was. He turned to him. "Do you know how to travel to other worlds?" He thought about what Celeste and Evalyn had told him on their travels. "Don't worry if you don't, it's a surprisingly rare skill for some reason. But it's easy once you try it the first few times. The best way to practice it is to visualize the world you're trying to get to then simply reach out to it with your power." Xiyrel turned away and held out his hand. he focused on the world they had just came from until slowly a dark portal opened up a few feet in front of them. He looked back at Nixir. "Shall we?"

[[OOC: Please ignore the lack of character font colors. Posting on the phone has limited me to a more classic format...]] Nixir felt the mockery of happiness only a Nobody could feel as Xiyrel seemed to agree with their next course of action. The two really did seem to think alike, something that would please the artist greatly if they still had a heart to feel with. "Before you two go base searching, there’s one other thing that must be taken care of.” Celeste had flown from Xiyrel’s shoulder and hovered in the air to address both of them. It seemed both Kai and Evalyn had been left behind in the chaos that the pair had left before meeting Nixir. As the missing persons were Key Holders, the artist couldn’t help but share in the fairy’s urgency when it came to informing and collecting them. Despite the internal clock that always seemed to be ticking within Nixir’s head, the Nobody couldn’t help but rationalize the fact that they couldn’t begin the search for a home-base without all of their established members informed and present. Thankfully, it seemed that Celeste would tackle one while Nixir and Xiyrel gathered the other… “Try not to draw too much attention to yourselves,” The artist nodded in agreement at her caution, grimacing himself at the thought of combat. Though Nixir had spent much time in this world researching and training his own abilities, he was hardly one prone to violence. An artist first and foremost, the Nobody disliked using heavy-handed tactics. Stealth and subterfuge were his preferred methods, as well. Disappearing from view with an odd warping of energy, Celeste left Nixir and Xiyrel to their task, vanishing from sight within the blink of an eye. “Come on, let’s go get him.” Xiyrel hardly seemed as eager, acting almost as though they’d forgotten about this important Key in their ranks until Celeste had mentioned them… Explaining a bit about Kai’s person, the other Nobody seemed ready to depart after their neat summary before coming to a pause. “Do you know how to travel to other worlds?” Nixir gave a tight, fake smile. He’d been waiting for this topic to come up… ”Sadly, though I have the ability to traverse worlds using the Darkness granted to me by this ‘unlife’...it seems the paths to other worlds are somewhat random for me, unless I’m knowledgable about the world I wish to go to, or its location in the Gummiverse. I'm hoping this will improve with practice and time...” Though he hadn’t experimented quite yet with the ability to its full fruition, he’d used the Dark Corridors to travel throughout The World That Never Was, as well as researched the hidden paths between worlds from the remains of the Organization’s libraries and databases while roaming their ruins. It was clear that despite their lack of real emotion, the topic was indeed a sore spot for the newly appointed 'Leader' of the forming Organization. Thankfully, Xiyrel was an expert in many regards, holding out a hand and summoning forth a Dark Portal of his own. “Shall we?” Though Nixir would have been touched with mild embarrassment, had he still had a heart to feel such nonsensical emotions, the bright haired artist nodded and gave a small sigh feigning relaxed ease. ”I appreciate your guidance…” He knew what it meant, to try and undertake the goal he’d been planning all this time. Though usually rather independent and hardly apt to describe himself as a ‘Leader’, Nixir steeled himself for what would surely come ahead in the endeavors waiting for them. If he and Xiyrel were to rebuild a new Organization, one that would succeed, he’d need to keep his wits about him and accept his own limitations, all while collaborating and cooperating with others. No use in making allies, if I can’t rely on their help. Reassuring himself with that thought, the artist pulled up the hood of the dark black cloak he wore, taking quick steps that would strike any with a heart as excitement as he briskly walked into the looming portal of darkness that shifted and sat against the eternal rain pattering against the pavement… [[To be continued in SanFransokyo? ]]
