The girl flinched if only slightly as the door was slid open, but didn’t say much more. Instead, she nodded faintly, entering Kujo’s room with a newfound unease. How would it be like, travelling with other methods aside the ship they had used all this time? She couldn’t help but feel nervous, but her curiosity was far stronger.
She wanted to visit a world that was familiar to her in more than one way —explore it to its fullest, not the little pieces she had seen in her only visit. Alice wanted to discover what the world hid from her —by any means, if she had to.
The girl jumped a bit as Kujo’s Akogare pulled open a portal, finding herself slightly shaking out of nerves and excitement. While a grim question remained in her head, her eyes shone with awe, watching as the light invited one in gently.
Was this one of Kujo’s wishes, or simply a power he’d recently discovered? Regardless of the answer, it was mystifying.
”Come on.” Kujo’s words, although a gruff, weren’t rushed. His hand was held towards her, and hesitant she grabbed it —the size difference incredibly excessive. She tried quelling her nerves and shaking, instead looking at the light that would be their portal.
“…It’ll be for a bit, right…?” she thought, trying to calm herself down, “I’m not going alone, either —Kujo’s with me. So things will be okay!"
She nodded to herself, glancing at the white floor and walls one last time before engulfed by the light. Alice knew Jack would worry, but M’Lyn would stay with him —so it would be alright, no? Besides, it wasn’t like they were going to be disconnected —Kujo still had his com, and Alice had her devices. If Jack needed someone to talk to…
She would be there for him —just like before.
Already in space, the Almira would remain put, with the team on stand-by until a new order. They had enough time to pay Kujo's world a visit without anyone noticing. It was a quick visit, anyways, wasn't it?
