IDK man, I feel like doing this, cuz I've got 1 too many stories and I need to write them down LMAO.
HERE WE GO, THEN!
HERE WE GO, THEN!
Tori Takahashi
Hobbies
Other Facts: Tori used to have issues swimming due to almost drowning one time when she was little. This was overcomed with a little effort, plus the fact that she needed to get over it to actually work properly as a Hunter.
Despite having a family, Tori would rather live on her own. Mostly due to the fact that she's aware she's not blood-related, but also because of her status as a Spirit that was locked at the Farther Shore for ages (since the beggining of time, really...)
Despite being really strong, Tori tends to hold most of her actual power back. It kinda goes with percentage: if she's just playing about, it's about 10% of her real power. If it's a battle that requires effort, she can go as far as 60%. There are rare cases where she goes all out, though. Tori does this because she finds it boring to have a one-sided battle, and most of the time she wants to give her enemy a winning chance. Except with Traitor and Dusk Spirits, they don't get this treatment.
More of a random tid-bit rather than related to her actual, current personality: Tori used to be a "blank slate" sort of person. The only reason she learnt how to emote was because of the Spirits that chose to remain at the Shore and keep her company. If that hadn't been the case, Tori would most likely be apathetic.
Because of this, actually, she can't bring herself to hate people completely. Even if it's an enemy she has to fight, Tori pities them, and wants nothing more than help them. Of course, she doesn't enforce this view onto others, and so she has to rely on winning fights rather than making peace with one another.
Hobbies
Other Facts: Neku has a really obvious liking to Mei, but can't really accept the fact that people can openly tease him about this (Tori in particular, although she harbors no grudges towards them dating; it's a healthy tease).
Neku currently lives alone after losing all of his family: his parents died when he was little, his brother Ryo dissapeared (he turned out to be a Spirit), and Sakuya sacrificed herself to save him from a reckless challenge. Despite all this tragedy behind him, Neku carries on with the following thought: if he can enjoy his own life to its fullest, then he's paying those who died to protect him back, effectively not throwing their sacrifices to waste. Even though it's a somewhat depressing thought, Neku doesn't see it this way.
Even though he doesn't look the part, Neku spends a lot of time trying to be the best in his area of expertisse. He tries his best to aprove subjects, do his work right and make sure his friends are happy.
Hobbies
Other Facts: Mei's family is rather well-known in the island becuase her parents are pretty successful Hunters. Most of her siblings followed after their steps, getting their own vessel to travel through the worlds and challenging new foes. Mei's the only one who hasn't done this, because she doesn't like fighting. Only reason she is currently a Red Mage Trainee is because she was forced to enroll into the Hunter class.
Since she currently only lives with her older sister, Mayu, Mei takes care of most of the housechores, hence the reason why she's so good at keeping things tidy and knows how to cook well. And even if that wasn't the case, Mei often times chooses to do something indoors than outdoors.
As you can probably guess, she's the cinnamon bun of the Guild. Most of the time Mei will bring lunch for everyone and maybe some snacks. It pairs well with her "Support" role in the Guild, but it doesn't bother her, since she likes looking after others.
Hobbies
Other Facts: Kosuke used to like another person in his world, named Marie. Being a mutual affection, Kosuke aimed to spend as much as he could with her during his first life. In fact, the reason why he immediately asked to return to the Realm of Light after finishing his first Focus was to protect Marie.
There's 2 reasons why he began to develop feelings for Tori. The first one was because, even though it was a life he held close to his heart, his life back at the world he used to live in, his life alongside Marie, had come to an end (he came to that conclussion himself). The second reason was because of a promise he made to himself in order to keep Tori happy, that just ended up developping into romantic feelings.
Kosuke's Familiar, Necro, is sort of the embodiment of Kosuke's inner feelings. In other words, Necro displays what Kosuke doesn't: a somewhat childish and playful demeanor. This doesn't mean Kosuke rejects this attitude, but simply that he doesn't display it often.
Even if he's rather young, he actually had a daughter (don't ask why, time shenanigans with the Shore don't follow logic)
Hobbies:
Other Facts: The reason why Dantès matured so early in life was purely because of the sittuation he found himself in that would eventually lead to his first Focus. He was a normal kid up until then.
Although not romantic, Dantès did have a special someone back when he was living in the Realm of Light: a girl named Colette, who also was the reason why his Focus flourished. He wanted to protect her and help her reclaim what was hers.
The reason why Dantès hasn't asked for a second chance at life is because he's afraid he'll regret it or will mess it up. He is currently considering it as he travels the worlds, but hasn't had an actual decision yet.
Despite being a kid, Dantès doesn't display childish behaviors at all (although his tantrums can be seen as childish), hence the reason why Fuu, his Familiar, often times plays around while traveling. Dantès doesn't reject this part of him, but he simply doesn't find it optimal to show it. He did, however, act more childish after he finished his Focus, when keeping Tori company.
Aside Kosuke, Dantès was the one who spent time with Tori the most at the Shore, simply because of his age and also because he wanted to cheer her up. He has a strong sense of "elder brother" protective-ness towards her because of it.
Hobbies:
Other Facts: Despite the fact that Sharih overly teasing anyone with romantic interests (or lack thereof), she's actually never had a romantic interest herself.
In theory, Sharih was the first Spirit loyal to Tori that chose to remain at the Farther Shore. She's admitted that, while she has known of other Spirits prior to her to be Loyal, they oftentimes travel to the worlds outside, and has rarely seen them since. The reason she chose to stay by the Shore was because she wanted to keep Tori company, although she never really knew how to approach her.
Obviously, knowing Kosuke and Tori share feelings for one another, Sharih's immediately on their case whenever she spots them doing something worth teasing them for. Another person she teases excessively is Dantès, although she does this mostly because she finds his reactions "adorable".
Given that one of her hobbies is heavily related to dressing styles and the like, Sharih does have a sketchbook in which she draws whatever outfits flood her imagination, wishing to bring them one day to light. The first person she wants to try this on is (you guessed it) Tori.
In fact, despite her not remembering it, Sharih was the one who stylized the ponytail hairstyle Tori currently wears. Sharih thinks this gives Tori a more "mature yet playful" look.
First, I apologize for any sort of trauma I might've put these two into, but I swear it's because of plot and not because I hate them
Hobbies
Other Facts: Jack doesn't like to read books, at all, even if his life depended on it. The only exception to this is whenever the topic interests him (example being M'Lyn's grimoires, after she taught him magic; or engineering thesis and the like).
No matter how many times someone explains it to him, Jack cannot follow classic history (nor it he interested on it).
Despite looking optimistic and upbeat most of the time, he has trouble being empathetic to others (only exception being Alice, because she's family), and the only reason he can play this off is due to his more business-like demeanor. He is alsobelieve it or not somewhat easy to self-doubt due to past trauma has had suicidal thoughts
Alice's Tid-bits
Hobbies
Other Facts: Alice doesn't like "doing nothing". That is to say, she'd rather have something to do during her free time rather than just relaxing or something (responsably, of course).
Even though she's good at math and physics, Alice would rather read books or write essays.
Despite her shy and soft-spoken demeanor, Alice is easily envious of others (mostly due to her background). Only problem is that she doesn't show nor voices it, because she doesn't like being a burden to others.
