About the Character
Personality: Kosuke is rather straightforward, and honest with both himself and others, but at the same time cheerful and carefree. While he does enjoy teasing people to get a good laugh from, Kosuke knows when it's best to remain calm or even serious. He's very loyal towards his beliefs, and not easy to convince otherwise. He also can be described as a "flirt", but it's mostly towards Tori only. While not on purpose, Kosuke can be a little forgetfull at times, which makes it somewhat annoying for others. But aside from that, he is someone people can rely on without second guesses, since, aside from his beliefs, he's loyal towards those he trust. And that also includes those who are acquainted with those he trusts, too. He's a very easy-going guy in that sense.
As for his more serious side, Kosuke can be very cold and suspicious towards those he doesn't trust, or even considers enemies. The moment someone's on his bad side, they're never turning back. Not to mention that Kosuke can get very skeptical when he feels as if he's being betrayed or double-crossed. And because of this, Kosuke has also a bad habit of making hastened conclusions.
Character Appearance: Kosuke has a fit and muscular frame, standing at 6' 3'' and 167 lbs. He has long, dark brown hair, a bit spiky, too. Since it's so long, he covers one of his eyes with it, but it's for no reason at all. He has light-brown colored eyes, and slightly dark skin.
Kosuke wears a yukata-styled shit, which is slightly open on the chest area, revealing a scratched Spirit's Emblem. He ties it around his upper waist with a grey cloth belt. He has a slightly torn, light-blue cloth underneath, covering most of the skin that is left between his shirt and his pants. Kosuke also wears light-brown, fisher pants, and holds them with a leather belt. Finally, Kosuke has blue-strap, black-soled sandals.
Kosuke's Familiar, Necro, is a blue-hued, chinese dragon-like Spirit. He also has a big blue pearl on his chest, and has black... something (they're not ears) on his head. Necro also has what appears to be a helmet, which covers his Emblem on the back of his head.

Character Racial Abilities: Spirits are very sensible to other people's emotions, light and darkness.

Kosuke is a "Strength"-type Spirit. This acts both in an out of battle, and takes effect so long as Kosuke trusts in others' strengths. So long as he believes in them, the recieving party gains incredible powers in battle, but also courage outside of it —strength of will, if you may.
In a sense, Kosuke is able to encourage people to do this, while also keeping their morale high in battle.
Character Strengths: Kosuke is very loyal towards those he trusts, and has their wellbeing as a priority over his own. This means that he'll always attempt to come by the best outcome for everyone. Those he trusts and cares for, he'll go to through any hardship for their sake.
Weaknesses: Kosuke has a lot of trust issues, which means that, when someone poses a threat to him or those he cares for, he immediately considers them an enemy, and holds no trust whatsoever. And that can lead into unnecessary trouble.
.
He was exceptionally strong with the blade, and soon earned the respect of his piers.
Kosuke never had much problem interacting with people, and had a lot of friends. That was all torn appart as the war took its highest peak. His clan's leader was killed before his eyes, and countless of allies fell in battle. Kosuke tried to fight back against the sole man who caused such a loss, but he himself was knocked out. And when he woke up... Everything he cherished was lost.
With no reason to continue on fighting in the war, he began to wander around his world, with no clear purpose. That's when he met Tori, in a dream. He obtained a Focus, and, now having a goal, began to work his way towards it. Kosuke swore to himself to put and end to a senseless war that had taken away all that he cared for.
During this journey, as he began to awaken his powers, he met someone that he began to cherish close to his heart, and helped her in her own quest, given that they both had the same goal.
And they achieved it. After a final battle that changed the course of his world's fate, Kosuke dissapeared from that world, yet his memory remained within all of those he interacted with. After that, he awakened at the Farther Shore. While he did ask to live once more, and got his chance, Kosuke didn't ask for anything else after he completed his Focus a second time, and instead remained by Tori's side and the other Loyals that lived there.
He retained his old memories close to his heart, without the need to feel sad about not being able to live the rest of his life with those he'd met there. He knew he would never be a part of their lives completely... But having met them was enough for him. Instead, Kosuke decided to keep Tori company, who'd been alone for too long, and to make her happy.
It wasn't long before they developed a very close relationship with one another, and Kosuke was happy to see the fruits of his labor.
Tori, however, being tasked with protecting the balance between light and darkness, had to fight. And Kosuke fought alongside her everytime he could. It was in the last battle that he was mortaly wounded. The cause was due to his Emblem being damaged. A Spirit is by technicality imortal, so long as their only link to life, their Emblem, is not damaged. Kosuke dissapeared soon after, and most of his memory was erased from both himself and those who'd met him.
It's unknown why, but Kosuke somehow retained his body and his link with his Familiar, Necro. With no recollection of his past, Kosuke now is trying to find himself back to the most important person in his life. And while he remembers only his name, he still remembers her. The most important person to him, someone he'd go to the ends of the world if it meant protecting her and keeping her happy.
Tori.
Gains the following abilities:
- Wings of Rebirth – Kosuke attacks with his blade imbued with both fire and wind, cleaving horizontally in front of him to deal moderate fire-wind damage, while also creating healing winds that restore his and his allies’ health by a bit over time. Duration – 2 posts, Cooldown – 5 posts.
- Fire of Life – Kosuke swings his blade downwards, creating a fissure that spits out fire aimed towards either an enemy or an ally. If it targets an enemy, the attack deals heavy fire damage. If it targets an ally, it restores all of their health to full. This ability CAN do both effects if the enemy and ally are in a straight line from where Kosuke sends the attack. Cooldown – 6 posts.
- Winds of Revival – Kosuke swings his sword while spinning, creating a whirlwind that drags enemies towards it, dealing moderate wind damage for as long as the enemies are within the whirlwind. The attack increases the defenses of any ally standing within a 1mt radius near Kosuke. Duration of the defense buff – 3 posts, Cooldown – 6 posts.
- Flame of Rebirth – With his sword imbued in a holy fire, Kosuke swings towards any enemy in front of him. Deals heavy fire damage, while also reviving any fallen comrade before the attack began, and restoring the health of all allies who hadn’t fallen. Cooldown – 1 per form.
- Blessing of the Fire Bird – Kosuke can withstand an attack that would otherwise knock him out. After receiving said attack, Kosuke’s health is restored back to full. (Passive, 1 per form).
Character Weapons:
- "Master's Blade" - A katana handed over to Kosuke by his clan after his leader's death. It's a fine and sharp blade, and it reminds Kosuke of the many hardships he's overcome over time. It's a blade he would never give up to anyone. The sheath of the blade is just a black case, but it's a rather sturdy one, and has a few scratches, which only proves the hardships it's gone through.
Character Summons:
- Necro (Permanent) – Kosuke's' Familiar. No matter where, when or how, this dragon-like Spirit is always besides Kosuke, through thick or thin, never leaving his side. He only dissapears if Kosuke uses any Command Style. A reverse summon, so to speak.
Character Racial Abilities: Spirits are very sensible to other people's emotions, light and darkness.
