About the Character
Personality: Mei is extremely shy, reserved, and more of an introvert than anything else. At least, that's how she usually is around people she's not acquainted to. She enjoys spending time with those she calls her "friends", willing to do whatever it takes to make them happy, as she finds happiness in doing so. Mei is also rather righteous, persistent in doing what she believes is right, despite her usual silent demeanor. With those she knows, Mei is kind and warm, making her a very lovable person, one most people can never be angry at, although for some this can be rather degrading to see. On the Guild, Mei is usually the calm girl in the group, relying more often on wits rather than raw strength. Oftentimes, given that she doesn't hunt or fight most of the time, she instead takes her role as the person that relieves the mood and cheers others up, be it by complementing or soothing them. She's also very polite and grateful, never missing the chance to replay someone for something.
Due to her initial shyness, Mei oftentimes closes herself from people, and can't make friends with ease despite her desire to make friends and get close to others. Due to her physical weakness, she's often picked on by others, thus developing a rather submissive attitude, and feeling useless whenever she feels as if she's let someone down. She also happens to have a bit of bad luck, which often leads her into unnecessary trouble.
Character Appearance: Mei is a bit small in height for her age, standing at 5'4'' and has a weight of 110 lbs. She has red-orange hair, often left loose, with symetric streaks on both sides. She also has emerald green eyes that are easy to notice even from afar.
She always wears a simple crystal tied with a black thread around her neck.
Mei usually wears a dark-grey T-shirt with a blue undershirt, and wears a simple, grey, long-sleeved vest above them. She also wears a grey-ish light-blue skirt, and black stockings with a blue stripe at the upper end. Lastly, she wears blue boots with white soles. She also has a simple necklace with a crystal attached, made by herself.
It's worth noting that her Spirit's Emblem is on her neck, on the left side. It's easy to see if Mei picks up her hair, but, otherwise, is rather well hidden.
Her Familiar, Ai, is a somewhat small Devil Doll Spirit. It carries a grey wizard’s hat with an orange ribbon tied around it, while at the end of the hat hangs by a golden bell. Its body is mostly black, with the only prominent feature being its bright green eyes and angel-like wings. It wears a simple light-blue dress, and has a black tail thing with a blue orb at the end.

- Esunaga – Removes any negative ailment from all allies, herself included. Cooldown – 3 posts
- Protectga – Raises all allies’ and self’s defenses by quite a bit (think 40%). Duration – 3 posts, Cooldown – 5 posts.
- Shellga – Raises all allies’ and self’s magic defenses by quite a bit (same as Protectga). Duration – 3 posts, Cooldown – 5 posts.
- Banish – Creates a blast of light that deals beginner damage. It can also cause minor blindness. Cooldown- 3 posts.
- Holy – Mei summons a holy light, that comes crashing down onto an enemy. Deals more damage to Dark-aligned or undead enemies (Fatal damage if enemies are Dark-aligned/undead, heavy otherwise). Cooldown – 6 posts.
- Apocalypse – Mei creates a blast of light that first forms beneath her enemies’ feet in a circle-shape. The attack deals no damage until it comes from below, dealing heavy damage once it lands. Cooldown – 7 posts.
Character Abilities:
- Elegant Flurry – Mei attacks an enemy close-range in a quick succession of hits. With each hit that connects, the attack gains more power, resetting if the attack is blocked, evaded or countered. Starts as minor damage, and max damage is up to heavy. Cooldown – 3 posts.
- Critical Strike – Mei quickly attacks forward, hitting once, and piercing most defenses. Deals moderate damage. Cooldown – 2 posts.
- Iridescent Guard – Mei heals all allies for a small amount, raising their morale as well. This increases all allies’ (but self’s) physical and magical power. Duration – 5 posts, Cooldown – 8 posts.
- Caring Wish – Mei sacrifices a bit of her own stamina (deals minor damage to self) in order to fully restore an ally back to perfect health. Cooldown – 3 posts (Cannot be used if Mei’s own health is critical)
- Reflection – Mei draws a circle on the ground with the help of her blade, creating an invisible barrier that can repel 1 magical attack directed at her ONLY. Its use is immediate, which means the ability DOES NOT remain as a barrier. Cooldown – 3 posts.

Twilight Form
Mei wakes her inner power, changing her appearance and increasing her power exponentially. Her healing prowess is increased, doubling the effects of any of her healing spells or abilities, while also increasing their cooldown (+2 post cooldown on any support/healing ability/spell). Her attack and magic power drop significantly in exchange for more defensive and healing potential. Duration – 4 posts, Cooldown – 10 posts (cooldown starts as soon as form ends)

- Curaja – Mei heals the entire party back to full health, while also removing any minor ailments they may have. Cooldown – 5 posts
- Shining Cheer – Mei raises all allies’ morel and defenses (not including self), effectively doubling all of her allies’ stats. Duration – 5 posts, Cooldown – 8 posts.
- Eternal Light – Creates a large orb of light at the end of her rapier to then toss it against her enemies. Scales off of defensive potential, not offensive, dealing up to fatal damage (without any defensive buffs, it deals heavy damage instead). Cooldown – 1 use per form.
Lotus Bloom
Mei makes use of her knowledge of nature and magic in order to increase her offensive abilities while granting buffs to her allies. Increases her magic power by quite a bit (about 1.5x). Duration – 4 posts, Cooldown – 8 posts (cooldown starts as soon as form ends)

- Lotus Order – At the start of the form, Mei is less likely to be targeted. This effect is removed as soon as she uses an offensive ability. (Passive)
- Pure Water – Mei summons a water spell in form of a bubble, that comes crashing down onto an enemy, dealing moderate damage. The impact creates a faint rain that restores all allies’ and self’s health by a little bit over time. Cooldown – 4 posts.
- Pure Earth – Mei creates a small earthquake under her enemies’ feet. Has no effect on airborne enemies, and deals moderate damage. The attack increases all physical defenses for her and her allies. Duration – 2 posts, Cooldown – 4 posts.
- Pure Fire – Mei shoots forth a barrage of 5 fireballs honed onto an enemy, dealing moderate damage in total (each fireball deals minor damage). It increases all allies’ and self’s physical power. Duration – 2 posts, Cooldown – 4 posts
- Pure Lotus – Mei creates a safe area in the image of a lotus bloom underneath her, where herself or her allies can step over and recover their stamina slowly over time while the area lasts. It also damages any enemy that tries to come into it, dealing moderate damage. Duration – 3 posts, Cooldown – 5 posts.

Character Racial Abilities: Spirits are very sensible to other people's emotions, light and darkness.
Mei is also able to manipulate the light and darkness around her in order to create Illusions, although she currently is unable to do them properly. If she ever does them, it’s usually by accident, and are easily dismissible.
Mei is a “Kindness”-type Spirit. Her unique Type-related ability revolves around helping people’s memories to surface once more from the depths of their hearts. That is to say, if someone has forgotten something important to them, but the memory still remains within their hearts, then Mei can help them remember once more. Currently, however, she has no control over this ability, which makes it unreliable. She either can cause someone to suddenly remember something they’d forgotten, or be unable to do so if someone asks.

Attack description: Mei imbues Tori’s weapon with an Apocalypse spell, and then Tori rushes down at the enemy with a quick succession of hits, which gets stronger as long as the attack isn’t parried, blocked or interrupted. Any other person has increased power on their light-related attacks.
Special ability for Tori – Her regular attacks have light-element to it. Duration – 3 posts.
Special ability for anyone else using spells – Light-related spells have increased power. Duration – 3 posts
Special ability for anyone else using abilities – Their regular attacks and physical abilities (that do not have any other element to it) have light-imbue. Duration - 3 posts

History of the attack: Due to her reluctant attitude towards fighting, Mei feels more comfortable supporting her teammates by a distance. This team attack is done so Mei is able to support her allies, while they take care of the bigger threat. And since Tori and Mei’s relation is a close one, this attack has a fairly good synergy. With other people, it might take some practice before fully mastering.
Spells/Abilities involved: Mei – Iridescent Guard; Neku – Thunderstrike or Darkstrike
Attack description: Neku first imbues his weapon with thunder or dark, and passes it to Mei, who grabs the spells and amplifies it thanks to Iridescent Guard. It imbues both her and any other ally with thunder-element or dark-element in their weapons, while also raising thunder or dark resistance, restoring a bit of magical power instead of health, raises and the group's morale.
Special ability for all – Everyone's weapons are imbued with tunder-element, and also have increased physical and magical power. Duration – 3 posts.
Cooldown: 7 posts
History of the attack: Much like with "Light Blast", this time it's Neku and Mei's combined strengths. With Neku's use of magic to add elements to his weapons for an attack, and Mei's devotion to protect her allies and friends in battle by supporting them, this ability is a mix of offensive and defensive prowess.
Character Strengths: Mei is a strong support with great capacity for helping and healing her allies in a fight. Outside of it, she's always looking out for others, which makes her lovable for most people, if not everyone around her.
Character Weaknesses: Very shy in general, and doesn't like to fight often due to her lack of physical strength. Because of this, she'll often stay away from fights unless her presence is absolutely necessary, or if she wants to help others out.
- Light's Outburst - A simple, light rapier, often used for parrying and counter. Due to the lightness of the weapon, the user can quickly move from side to side, be it for a surprise attack or simply getting out of the way.
- "Rising Hope" - A Keyblade with the appearance of a rapier, but with a much longer range and also holding a faint boost in healing potential. It's a Keyblade meant for support rather than for assault, but, when it comes to it, the blade itself deals a moderate amount of damage, enough to drive any threat away.

- Ai (Permanent) – Mei's Familiar. No matter where, when or how, this small flying doll-like Spirit is always besides Mei, through thick or thin, never leaving her side. She only dissapears if Mei uses any Command Style. A reverse summon, so to speak.

Character History
Mei was born in a rather wealthy family in Sakura Island, belonging to the more elite part of its society. Both of her parents are well-known Hunters, and most of her siblings (she's the youngest one) are either Mercenaries or Hunters who decided to travel outside and see new worlds. Her parents are, as well, currently travelling for reasons only they know, leaving Mei in care of her older sister, Mayu, more known as "Claire".
Mei met Tori, Neku and the rest of the Hunters' Gang, a guild mostly consisting of students who take the afternoon doing Hunts or joining Raids. Feeling as if Tori and she knew from long before, Mei decided to join them and get to know them better, while also growing stronger. Although she lacked the strength most of the other members had, she made up for it with her memory and wits, often helping the others out on their homework or studies.
During one of her Training Sessions, Tori and Mei were suddenly trapped in a thick mist, forced to fight against a large Spirit and a few other Heartless. In this fight, Mei discovers her ability to wield her Keyblade, and also about her Spirit's Emblem, which she currently keeps hidden.
In another opportunity, on an expedition, Tori, Neku and Mei fell down a hole, and, without any other exit, decided to explore deeper. That's where they found the heart of their world, but, at the time, they didn't know what it was, so they left it alone and kept on going. However, Mei felt as if that was something important, that she had to do something about.
Currently, she's spending her time helping her sister at the house, sometimes training, other times cooking, and most of the time drawing. While she does this, she sometimes hears a voice calling her out, but she's unaware of its true meaning.
