It was a warm cloudy out on the open waters of the ocean. Seagulls for flying, pirates were plotting, and a small black dot was falling from the sky.
If you looked closely, you could see it was a boy. One that appeared to be the age of 11. His clothes were a bit torn, and his small trenchcoat was the only thing that kept the back of his shirt and the top of his pants intact. Other then that the front of his shirt and the legs of his pants were coverd with open slashes, exposing scarred and bruised skin.
This 11 year old boy was Tobias. And he was a heartless. And he was also unconscious, which is probably good cause he was in some pain from his wounds.
There was a huge splash when Tobias tore through the surface of the deep ocean water headfirst, the force of the wearing tearing through him, moving his already messy spikey hair around rapidly. It wasn't enough to wake him up, but it was enough to start bringing him back on the road to stirring. His lids fluttered slightly, but stayed closed, the force of the water making the concussion a bit worse than it already was.
As Tobias slowly sank deeper, a few cms every 5 seconds, the water above him on the surface continued to wave about higher and faster than the other areas, ripalling as an after effect of being disturbed by something with a higher density than itself.

A small, mechanical device played an eerie tune, and an Organ could be heard accompannying it menacingly. Then, it suddenly ceased, and a loud thud could be heard replacing it. It was that of a peg leg, belonging to none other than the notorious Captain Davy Jones of the Flying Dutchman. "What be that racket!?" he demanded, an irritated expression on his face.
The crew darted to and fro, looking for the source. "Man overboard!" one shouted, pointing to a ripple in the water.
"Pull the weavil to the surface, and bring him aboard!" old Davy ordered, watching as a member of his crew dove overboard in an attempt to retrieve the child.

Tobias remained floating downward in his unconsciousness. Until he was being pulled up to the surface by an unknown person. Of course, when you're unconscious, and water floods into your mouth. You can't really breathe when you reach the surface.
He was pulled onto deck, still passed out, bruised, and now EXTREMELY soaked.

As the crewman pulled Tobias aboard, Jones looked over him in disapproval. "He's only a boy. He's of now use to us," the old man proclaimed. "He's to stay with us until we make port... ten years from now!" the captain joked, cackling as water dribbled from his squid-like mouth. The crew joined him forming a thunderous harmony of vile laughter. "Leave him be until he stirs... then bring him to me," Jones ordered, returning to his cabin.
As the old captain ascended the stairs to his room, he grasped the same small mechanical device, shaped like a heart, as he trembled, and struggled not to sob. For a moment, he regained human form, crying. "Calypso..." he muttered in sorrow. However, the old man's expression quickly turned hard again, and he rose to his feet, regaining his previous form as he sat down in the seat. Then, he let the mechanical device start, and he played the organ in accompanyment to it.

Tobias layed on the deck for what seemed like hours until he stirred, coughing up water and some blood, he rolled onto his stomach, pushing himself up as he choked the water out. Salt water running against the tender insides of his throat, leaving it sore and enflamed. Every breathe bright seering pain to his salt-coated throat, he finally looked up and around where he was. He wasn't thrilled one bit.
He was on a pirate ship, it was obvious. "..Oh boy.." He muttered quietly. He remember the last time he was on a pirate ship. Hook's ship. He'd been thrown in the hold, and he doubt it would be any different now. But he hoped that wouldn't be the case this time.

All was quiet. Far too quiet for the crew's liking, and they began to gamble. The wager was simple... their years of service. One of them kept his eyes on the boy though. Sure enough, Tobias stirred, coughing up water and blood. The crewman walked over and swiftly kicked the boy in the stomach, and pulled him to his feet by his hair. "ON YOUR FEET, WEAVIL!" he ordered boldly. "THE CAPTAIN WISHES TO SPEAK WITH YOU!"

Tobias had heard footsteps coming across the deck and he winced in pain as he was kicked in the stomach, and then yanked to his feet. He didn't appreciate this kind of thing one bit. " Oi! Hold your fricken horses and I'll stand up on my own, alright?!" He exclaimed, pulling himself away from the one who kicked him and yanked him up.
"Now which direction is your captain, do you think I know?" He asked, less harshly, beginning to look around, quickly regaining his energy, he looked down realising he was a mess and sighed. "Lead the way.." He murmured loud enough to hear..

The crewman merely smirked at the boy and laughed menacingly, putting him down. "The captain is this way," the fish-man said with malice, walking towards the captain's cabin. The man opened the door, and proceeded up the steps to the captains quarters. As he entered, the man noticed that it suddenly went silent. The captain had ceased playing.
Davy Jones sat motionless for a moment, then turned around in his seat to see Tobias. "Ah, the boy awoke atlast," the old man commented harshly. "Quite the rock in your sleep you are boy. What be your name?" he asked, standing up and approaching the boy as he stuck his pipe in his squid-like mouth and lit it.

Tobias had been silent during the time it took them to reach the room. And Tobias was a bit surprised by the appearance of the captain. But he wouldn't voice his thoughts. No, right now was not the time for insults. He lifted his head slightly as The Captain addressed him, and asked his name. "..... Tobias..... Tobias Uchidara..." Tobias answered simply.
His eyes began to scan around the room. This was his second time on a pirate ship. And the last time he'd been thrown in the hold as soon as he was onboard. This was different. He wondered where he was and how he got there.
Tobias's eyes returned to the man before him as he approached further toward the boy.

Ol' Davy smirked, folding his arms across his chest in an odd demeanor. However, he didn't hold the position long, for the old captain quickly shifted his claw-like arm to his chin as he studied the boy before him. "Well then, young Mr. Uchidara, you are free to go on land the very next time we make port!" Jones exclaimed laughing. "But you see, by that time, you'll be ready to become a married man, for you see... I can't set foot on land but once every ten years!" the captain continued, still laughing as water spewed from his squid-like mouth with every foul word.

Tobias was actually surprised that he didn't say "Walk the plank" instead of what he actually said. Tobias blinked in surprise, then sighed once the guy said "10 years". Well that sucked. THen Tobias thought of something else.
"Well I could portal out.." Tobias mused a loud. But what he didn't know was he was still too weak to open one. But hey, he was oblivious to alot of thing, but it was an idea.

Davy's expression turned to one of shock as he heard the boy speak of some sort of portal. "Be you some kind of sorcerer then boy?" he asked, curious, but also somewhat fearful now. This boy seemed young; innocent even. So what was he doing here? "Bah, whatever ye be, leave or stay, it all be the same to me," the captain commented, hiding his fear. "Any trouble though... and we won't hesitate to execute you," the old man added, not sure if it was even feasible.

Tobias stared at him a moment. Heartless could usually tell if there fear, he shook his head. "No sorceror.. If was I wouldn't have been thrown into the ocean.. Not.. I'm just a Heartless." He mumbled.
"I won't cause you any trouble, not purposely anway.." He explained. He then put his hand to the side to open a portal. "..." A little bit of dark swirling light eminated from his hand and dark portal started to open, but then dispersed itself. Making Tobias frown. "...." He sighed. Guess I'll be stuck here... my powers are still recoperating.." He thought to himself.

Jones quickly turned to face the boy again. Heartless? What was that? The man had never heard the term before... "A Heartless you say? You mean you have no heart? YOU DARE make a mockery of CAPTAIN DAVY JONES!?" he demanded, smashing his claw arm on a table. "YOU DON'T KNOW THE MEANING OF HEARTLESS! I CARVED MINE OUT, AND SEALED IT AWAY! DON'T PROCLAIM YOURSELF TO BE A HEARTLESS!" the captain shouted angrily, banging his claw on the nearby table again, this time denting it.

Tobias looked over at the man blankly. " I don't have a heart, either. And I mean that LITERALLY. My heart was stolen by other heartless. Heartless is a race. Not an emotion. You don't have one either.. But I don't think your a Heartless... You don't seem to control the darkness, as I do.." Tobias spoke calmly. "I know the meaning very well, captain... I've known it for a year, and I've been the darkness' pawn for a year... I possibly know more about the dark and the worlds more than you could ever dream..I've seen and heard more things than any nightmare one can experience."
"I AM a heartless. I KNOW what they are... You sealed your's away... Well at least you KNOW where it is and at least YOU have the chance of getting it back. I don't. And probably never will with the rate me and my Nobody, my other half, are going.."

"This boy speaks nonsense. Do not listen to him, my dear Captain Jones. He is attempting to confuse and deceive you, and take over this vessel," a cold, dark voice rang out. Jones looked around for the source of the voice, but found none. "Show yourself ye scalleywag!" the old captain ordered. "As you wish," came a fiendish reply, followed by the appearance of a dark portal. From that dark portal, stepped a man of great evil... an evil only one name could befit... Martieve.
"Who are you?" old Davy demanded, already furious.
"I'm an ally and friend. I'm here to take this boy off of your hands," Martieve replied, a cold tone in his voice as he gazed to the boy. "Come Tobias... we have things to do. Without Rukayron, I need your full support," Martieve said to the boy, holding out his hand.

Tobias jumped back about 10 feet, almost of a heart attack. How ironic was that? "You? Someone's ally?" PFT. "If I had a heart, this is where I'd be dieing of laughter..." He said. But then he glared at Martieve. "You gotta be SHITTING me.. I'm not going with you, do you think I'm THAT stupid, Martieve? What the hell do you want from me THIS time?!" Tobias yelled, angerily. "If you think I'm gonna be your pawn, again, you're out of you're mind, old man..." He sneered.

Jones scowled at the man, furious at the unwanted entrances. The old captain quickly pounded his claw on the nearby table, and drew his sword, pointing it at the man. "What is your purpose here!?" Davy demanded with fury.
"My purpose here is to fetch the boy... and turn you all into Heartless!" Martieve exclaimed, laughing maniacally as he drew his own blade and pointed it to the captain.
"What is this talk of Heartless and the boy!? I have no heart, for I sealed it away!" Jones retorted, water flying every as he motioned to show how furious he was. "Bah! You and the boy are off the ship!" the captain proclaimed, lunging at Martieve.
Clank, clank, clank. The sounds of their blades echoed throughout the Dutchman, and the crew already knew who would win. Jones could not be killed, and therefore had won before the battle began.
After about ten minutes of intense battling, Jones struck Martieve, disarming him. Cursing under his breath, Martieve fled through a dark portal, disappearing into the night.
(Hint hint. XD)

Tobias had kept watch with an eyebrow raised. After the long battle, Tobias sighed.
"That old geezer will give up at nothing will he..?" Tobias asked himself in quiet whisper. Tobias moved out of the cabin, he'd only need to hear the captain say it once to know to leave. He couldn't open a portal, so he'd have to get to the nearest shore to recuperate his heartless strength. He went towards the ship rail.
Maybe he could summon a water heartless to carry him? Who knows. It'd work as long as shore was nearby is some direction.. ANY direction. There had to be some land on this world somewhere.

With a fierce grunt, Jones gestured to one of his crewman. "Make for the island! We'll leave the boy there!" the captain commanded, walking to his organ as he began to play a menacing tune. The Dutchman bobbed up and down upon the waves, making an abrupt change in course.
After about a thirty minute voyage, the vessel floated just outside an island's reef. "You swim from here boy!" one of the crewman ordered menacingly. Little did all of them know they were still being watched however...
