About the Character
Character Personality: Buff and overconfident, Samuel is everything you would expect from the stock 'warrior' stereotype. Showing off his abs, flirting with girls, and shoving people's faces into the ground are his favorite pastimes. He can be a bit of a jerk sometimes, but he tends to be honorable in a fight, and a nice guy once you know him a little. However, his obsession with power is what really defines him. It's a strange feature in that it apparently has no foundation whatsoever. It's as if one day he just up and decided to be the strongest dude in the universe. But he's remarkably stubborn about it, and has trained nigh-incessantly for the sole purpose of becoming, as he calls it, god. After all, if no one can defeat you, who is there to object to your dominance over the universe?
To a degree, he's much like Zaraki Kenpachi from bleach, though he has no objection to using tricks, magic, or any means necessary to become the best, unlike Kenpachi. He enjoys fights so long as he is winning them- when he loses, he simply trains obsessively for awhile until he can beat the person he lost to. No hard feelings.
Character Appearance: Samuel is just over six feet tall. He has blonde hair just above shoulder length that looks messy, but straight. He has a body typical of a MMA fighter, packed with muscle but not bubbly or heavy. Blue eyes and a cocky grin supplement his face, and he wears a pair of black shorts that somehow, magically, stretch to fit him up when needed. He also wears a tshirt that usually comes off before a fight, and a sword strapped over his shoulder because it's too dang big to wear any other way.

Battle Statistics
Character Position: Neutral. He is on a quest for power, and has no regard for good or evil- only that he is superior to it.
Character Abilities:
Limit releaser: Samuel relies mostly on his limits, and the removing of them, to fight. He has ten forms, including his fully sealed one, and each is more powerful than the one below it. He can remove a limit by removing one of eight rings, or the necklace he wears. Each ring removed brings him to the next level, and the necklace brings him from form 9 to form 10, which is much stronger than the others. Limits must be staggered- one per post is the fastest possible removal. The forms are detailed below, but this ability only provides changes in appearance. It does not make him stronger in any way with the removal of limits, only change what he looks like.
Each limit broken remains that way until the fight is over. This can come about one of two ways. Either It ends peacefully, and Samuel returns to base form, or he is knocked out, to the same result.
Strength limiter: Every time a limit is broken, samuel gains a boost in strength. This caps off at 50x his regular strength in his final form. Now, this sounds like a lot- but look at his base strength in the ability below, and run the calculation. That's 10,000 pounds- five tons. Which still seems like a lot, but really, that's about the weight of a semi truck. Well within reason for a very strength-based character's final form. Five multipliers are added with every limit- so form 2 is 5x, form 3 is 10x, etc.
Trained: Even without releasing a limit, Samuel is a powerful fighter. He has naturally high strength (able to lift about 200lbs) and is a highly skilled swordfighter from his training.
Flash step: Accessible only in forms 3, 4, 8, 9, and 10. This ability allows samuel to dash faster than the eye can see. In forms 3 and 4, this ability has a three post cooldown. In forms 8 and 9, it has a two post cooldown. In form 10, it can be used every other post. Max range: 30 feet.
Berserker: Accessible only in forms 4-6. This ability allows Samuel to feel no pain. He will not feel a reflex to flinch away, either. He will still receive damage- he will simply not feel pain. It is passive, but comes at the cost of some of his rational thought and planning ability.
Super punch: Accessible only in forms 5 and 6. A slamming attack with a massive fist that contains much more force than a normal punch. This punch can smash straight through skyscrapers, and deals heavy damage on contact, but it can be blocked and is dodged with relative ease. Indicated by fist glowing with bright red flames. Two post cooldown.
Healing transformation: Upon entering his fifth form, eight form, and tenth form, Samuel will be healed to full health as he transforms. Status effects are also removed. This ability has no cooldown simply because it only occurs at set stages throughout a battle, and because the cooldowns are built into how fast he can release limits.
Flame breath: Form 7 has the ability to breathe a large, steady stream of flames that deal heavy damage. These flames are easily blocked or dodged, however. Straight line up to ten meters long. Two post cooldown, flames are streamed for up to a post.
Shell: Form 8 is immune to being cut. Its incredibly hard skin makes it impossible to slice apart- however, damage is still dealt from hits. This damage is just blunt force, instead of cutting. Passive.
Real world physics: Forms 9 and 10 have the ability to induce a strange field, about thirty feet wide, within which real world physics apply. This means that without any sort of special ability, one cannot jump more than five feet in the air, hover in the air as they attack, or any other such things that wouldn't work in real life. Flash stepping within this field is especially dangerous, as you are liable to break every bone in your foot. This field lasts a mere two posts and has a six post cooldown. It is generated in an expanding blue sphere from the point of casting, and its outline is clearly defined, though intangible. Expressly making such things an ability in your profile bypasses this ability, but only to the degree that you've written it down!
(Example: You have an ability called flash step that lets you run at a speed that is close to teleportation. Though you can still use this ability, you might break your feet and legs trying to accelerate/decelerate that fast unless you expressly state in your ability that your bones become stronger for this period, or you have another ability that would logically make your body strong enough to endure this amount of strain.)
ALL ABILITIES BELOW ARE ONLY ACCESSIBLE IN FORM 10.
Afterimages: Samuel moves so fast that afterimages are generated. These afterimages can attack once before vanishing. Up to five can be generated, then four vanish, leaving only the main Samuel. Three post cooldown. Attacks that hit an afterimage damage the real Samuel, but they can dodge and block in addition to their one strike, or vanish altogether if needed. Samuel's body is also coated in a magic that prevents him from falling apart at this speed, should real world physics be engaged.
Explosion cut: This slash creates an arc of energy that slices like a blade. He can detonate the arc of energy at any time, projecting anything nearby (5 foot radius of effect) away from it at high speeds. Can be used every other post.
Flurry cut: Slashing his blade at very high speeds creates a flurry of about 15 energy blades which fly at the foe with a shotgun-like effect. Each blade deals medium damage. Five post cooldown.
Illusion blade: This technique involves creating a mirror image of his arm and blade, so that his blade seems to be coming from two directions at once. It is difficult to tell which blade is the real one, but possible. Two post cooldown.
Zantetsuken: Often known as the ultimate sword technique, Zantetsuken involves flash stepping past a foe, within inches of them, and slicing through them by using the speed of the strike to deal immense damage. NPCs will be bifurcated and defeated instantly if it hits. Player characters will receive an incredible amount of damage if it hits. This attack can be blocked or dodged, but it requires very fast reflexes, as Samuel is moving faster than the average eye can see. Once per battle. The energy flowing through him in this attack makes him immune to damage, whether from the laws of physics or an attack that hits him while using the move, for only a a split second.

Destroyer: A huge, heavy metal blade on par with that of Ichigo Kurosaki's Zangetsu (shikai) or Cloud Strife's buster sword in size. This is carried over the back, despite the sheathing difficulty. It has no special properties besides its size and weight. This is used in Samuel's unreleased form and second form.
Killer: A single, long, double edged katana that separates into two single edged katanas of identical length. Though much thinner than destroyer, killer is slightly longer- though still nowhere the length of blades like sephiroth's masamune. It is still sheathed over the shoulder, and as it is wielded in his third and fourth forms, this form also makes the sheath shrink to fit the blades.
Mutilator: In Samuel's fifth, sixth, and seventh forms, he uses long, sharp claws that he has named for some reason. These claws are barbed, number six in total, and are imbibed with poison that does no extra damage, but causes more pain than usual if they come into contact with anything organic. These claws are just shorter than destroyer.
Assassinator: In samuel's eighth and ninth forms, his arms become blades from the elbows down. These blades are single edged and trail shadows behind them. Being near one (within a foot) tends to make you feel tired. This effect is minor and constantly active to everyone except the wielder.
Ender: In samuel's final form, he holds a katana slightly smaller than usual. This katana's only ability is its excessive sharpness. It can cut straight through anything, even most armor, like butter, including natural armor like animal shells and scales.
With permission, it can even cut through character weapons. However, there is a limit here. Most weapons it cannot cut through. Magic is as resistant to being cut as anything else, and enchanted armor will thus withstand an assault better than other things. However, generic cool objects like nearby buildings stand no chance against this absurdly sharp blade.
Think of it as having the sharpness of a keyblade, without the appearance or other cool qualities of one.
Character Accessories: A rock he carries around to remind himself to remain as strong as rock. Yes, it sounds silly. Say that to his face. This rock is periodically replaced once it has been ground to sand from excessive squeezing and toying with.

Character History: Samuel was born in olympus coliseum. He saw the warriors in the arena and decided to be one- to be the very best one. Like no one ever was. To this end he trained, first sparring against other warriors, then fighting heartless, then fighting full-on in the ring. He even trained in the underworld for awhile, to strange effects. For some reason, his unique soul made him resemble a beast of the underworld the more he trained down there. Determined to contain this power, Samuel had several limiters forged in the form of rings. When worn, they sealed the monstrous power he held inside him. Over time, his training in the dark abyss brought his forms to number ten in total. Most mysterious of all was the fact that his tenth form, one few had seen, was simply him once again, at a much younger age. To be precise, it was the age that he had begun the path of the warrior. Upon creation of the ninth limiter, Samuel reverted to training in the overworld, challenging gods and humans alike. Who could best him? Who could defeat a man who had dedicated his life to strength, at any cost?

Form 4: In this form, Samuel grows larger still, gaining a frenzied look in his eyes. His muscle comes back, but it is the compacted sort from the last form.
Form 5: Removing the fourth ring frees an entire hand from limiters. This brings about one of the most dramatic changes, practically doubling his size to about two stories tall. His weapon changes again in this form to a set of claws. He resembles something like a cross between godzilla and king kong- no tail, but a large, scaly, clawed gorilla.
Form 6: This form is the peak of monstrosity. Samuel is toeing the bishonen line here. At nearly five stories tall, with random horns and protrusions sticking out of him, he looks to have lost his humanity. In reality, this form is a little smarter and more human than the last one.
Form 7: Samuel shrinks back down to two stories, becoming more elegant and graceful. He now resembles a chinese dragon, serpentine with four legs. He is fully intelligent and has lost his bloodlust in this form.
Form 8: Samuel shrinks further, now at seven feet tall once again. If not for the oddly shell-like texture of his skin and arms that end in blades, he might even be considered human.
Form 9: In this form, Samuel is covered in a long black robe. This robe includes a hood covering his face, and sleeves long enough that it's difficult to tell if he is holding two blades, or if his arms are still blades. Bright red eyes stare from under the hood in a very creepy manner. And this isn't even his final form.
Final form: In this form, the change is decidedly undramatic. The necklace is removed, and falls to the ground. Samuel throws his hood back to reveal a child's face, smiling creepily.
