About the Character
Character Personality (Please give an in depth description of your character’s personality, must be at least 5 sentences):
Pendragon, at his core, is a dedicated, warm, and loving individual. He is adventurous and loves to explore (to a point). His animal like instincts may make him seem smart and intellectual. He absolutely loves to hunt, enjoying the thrill of stalking the pray all the way up to the actual killing of it. He can be playful and teasing, especially when he is comfortable. He can seem childlike in some ways when it comes to workings of the world and the people in it. Being a dragon who has not involved himself with humans though, he fears them. He is hesitant around them and afraid to talk to them. In fact he is somewhat paranoid that if a human touches him, he may be corrupted by them. He is also more introverted then extroverted, making it somewhat difficult to talk to strangers. He does not make friends easy.
Character Appearance (Please include such things as height, hair color, eye color, body type, clothing, weight, etc. You need to actually write a description. You may include a picture for reference. Must be at least 5 sentences):
Pendragon has three forms which are described here.
Dragon: A ten and a half foot dragon blue in color. With a yellow and white scaled under carage, blue scales cover his body. Two large blue wings allow for the ability to fly and soar. These wings stretch a span of twenty feet when both are expanded. Two arms and legs, both three to four feet in length make up its serpaintoid body with clawed hands and feet that make it able to grasp and attack. Yellow colored eyes, and black spikes fall along the center of its body, down its long neck until coming to an end on it's tail. A long red serpent like tongue and nostrils at the end of it's snout like nose make him able to taste and smell.
Human / Dragoon: In this form, Pendragon takes the form of a young adult, sixteen years in age. Standing at five feet and seven inches, he has light blue hair, deep yellow eyes, and slightly tan colored skin. In this form he is always dressed in a form of light armor that is blue in color. This light armor alternates between blue plates on an armored torso, front of armored legs, front of armored arms, and hands, and a lighter black padding on the other side. This padding is leather that is covered with a single small plate of black armor only two centemeters in length. This is unlike the front which is a full two and a half inches. A red scarf surrounds his neck and a helm that looks like the top of a dragon's head lies on his head.
Combined Form: A combined form of both dragon and human. In this form Pendragon is covered in incomplete but heavier plated armor. The armor is covered in blue scales adding extra protection. He stands at seven feet tall in this form. The helmet from the previous form takes a more armored and human shape, but spikes project from the back of shoulders, legs, and lower arms. More of his a pale white skin can be seen in unprotected areas of his hands, parts of his arm, legs, and torso.

Character Abilities (Maximum of 15 abilities allowed - please write your abilities in list form, starting with name & then description): Abilities are divided by forms. Abilities can only be used in the form they belong too.
Dragon Form:
1. Scaled Protection: Pendragon's scales act as heavy armor, able to withstand multiple blows. They are penetrable, but require serious attacks to destroy them. (Pendragon's scales can withstand most steel weapons, requiring three to four blows before destroying them or knocking them off). Scales are a part of pendragon's body and are regrown but take time to do so. (Take's three posts before scales regrow).
2. Flight: Pendragon has the ability to fly. He stretches the wing and can take to the air. Pendragon's ability to fly is like his ability to walk. He can go about half a day of flying before he must stop before he tires. Similarly to fly faster, in human terms to run, increases his speed by two fold, but uses up more energy. He cannot fly rapidly for too long (forty meters) before having to go to his regular stance. After flying it takes some time to recoup along with the proper food and drink. (One post)
3. Blue Flame: Pendragon can breath fire. Scorching hot blue flames that can scorch the earth and any enemies in his way. His streak of fire has a max of twenty feet in length and five feet in width. He can shoot the flame for the length of an extension of breath, about ten seconds at max. After breathing fire it takes time to "catch his breath". (one post)
4. A dragon's strength: Pendragon's strength at a max is equivalent to that of five men on average. Being a dragon, even if he is a young one, his attacks have a devastating attack behind them. Like any muscles though the more powerful attacks he uses the more time it takes to recoup. He also cannot keep up such strength forever. (Equivalent to 2 men: No post cool down, unlimited length of posts; Equivalent to 3 men: 1 post cool down, 4 post length. Equivalent to 4 Men: 2 post cool down: 3 post length; Equivalent to 5 men: 3 post cool down, 2 post length).
Dragoon / Humanoid Form:
1. Let's Speed It Up: Pendragon's speed doubles for a period of time, but at the cost of weapon power (a 1/3). He is able to dash rapidly, wield and twirl his weapon at rapping speeds, and better able to dodge attacks. (Three post length; one post cool down)
2. Give Me Power: Pendragon's strength doubles for a period of time, but at the cost of speed(1/3). He is able to create craters in the earth with his powerful attacks. His stabs and strikes can penetrate armor. (Three post length; one post cool down.)
3. I Need Defense: Pendragon's defense doubles. He is able to withstand powerful attacks for a short period of time. But this is at a cost of strength and speed (1/3 and 1/3). His defense blocks all attacks for the set amount of time. (Two post length; two post cool down).
(These top 3 abilities cannot be used together. Only one can be activated at a time)
4. Javelin Toss: While normally a weapon looses strength as it looses speed, this is not the case for this attack. Pendragon throws his weapon with all his might sending it at his opponent. The javelin does not loose speed, continuing until it strikes something. The penetrative ability of the weapon is equivalent to that of being stabbed close up by a blade. It requires some serious defense to block this attack, with it's ability to penetrate a ten foot in diameter boulder. The weapon reappears in his hands after the attack. (2 post cool down).
5. Flame Toss: Pendragon can create orbs of fire in his hands and throw them at opponents. These orbs are volleyball size and are explosive on contact, causing the flames to combust and spread upon contact. Pendragon can throw them a maximum of seven yards on average. Maximum of three orbs per post. No cool down.
Combined Ultimate Form (These abilities are currently locked as combined form is locked, but for character's sake they are added here).
1. Tornado: Pendragon begins to twirl his javeling over his head at blinding speeds. The air around him begins to turn as he creates a large spiraling vortex that towers up to the sky. This massive tornado is sixty feet wide and towers a hundred feet in the length. Can travel up to one mile in a single direction. Lasts for a max of five posts. Cool down of five posts.
2. Inferno: Pendragon extends his hand and shoots a stream of blue fire. Twenty feet and length and five feet in length. Lasts about ten seconds at most. (Three post cool down).
3. Speed: Pendragon's speed increases by three fold for a max of three posts. (Cool down of two posts).
4. Power: Pendragon can increase his strength by three fold for a max of three posts. (Cool down of two posts)
(Above two are stackable).
5. Javelin Destruction: Very similar to Pendragon's Javelin toss, but he can now cause the weapon to explode after it is stopped instead of causing it to return to his hand. It causes a fifteen foot explosion in the diameter around the javelin. After use weapon does reappear in his hand at the end of the cool down post length. (Cool down of three posts).
Character Weapons (Maximum of 5 weapons allowed – members must have 100 posts before their characters may wield a keyblade): Weapons are dependent upon form that he is in:

Claws: Pendragon has claws for hands that are covered in scales. With nails that are sharp as a steel sword's blade they can slice into armor, or earth, leaving a nasty gash if unblocked.
Tail: A five foot long tail covered in scales. This weapon has no spikes or anything of that like, but the scales make it very resilient. With the speed and power that he possess in this mode, the tail can seem like a hammer, able to smash and destroy.
Dragoon / Humanoid:
Javelin: A six and a half feet long javelin with a five foot long wooden handle connected to a sharp one and a half foot steel blade that is shaped like the end of a dragon's scale. The javelin is sharp on it's sides and coming to a single point at the end it has penetrative and stabbing power.
Combined (Ultimate Form)
Advanced Javelin: A thirteen foot javelin with a handle made of steel. The handle stretches ten feet in length and has a point at both ends of the weapon. At the bottom end is a single smaller pointed blade, about seven inches in diameter. On the other end is a long pointed blade that is three feet in the length. At its core it is thin and sharp. Like the other javelin it is sharp on both sides. It is sapphire blue in color has a red ribbon attached to the section before the start of the blade on the front end.
Character Racial Ability: Transformation: Pendragon can change between human and dragon form at will. Each form has separate abilities that can only be used while in that form.
Character Strengths (1 required): Pen's strengths revolve around his power and instincts in terms of physical strengths. In regards to personality strengths his dedication, warm heart, and understanding.
Character Weaknesses (1 required): Pen's weakness in terms of physicality is below his scales. The scales are like his armor, when they are penetrated it leaves him open to wounds and attack. Personality wise his weaknesses include: fears of humans, lack of trust, particularly in humans, and his hesitancy towards others.
Character History (Minimum of 10 sentences required.):
Pendragon was born on the Ancient Land of Dragons. His birth occurred shortly after the Keyblade War, soon after the world had been created. His birth was a special affair, given that he was not born by conventional means. After the creation of the several different worlds across the Kingdom Hearts universe, those who were responsible for the creation of the worlds saw too it that guardians would be in place to protect each world in it's infancy. They were to watch over the world, and see to it that the world continued to prosper. During times where darkness tried to destroy the world, these guardians would rise up and aid the heroes of light, keybladers.
On the Ancient Land of Dragons, four guardians were chosen to protect the different sections of the land. These four warriors were chosen from the offspring of the greatest warriors. Pen was one of these offsprings. The third son of the emperor, his life was given to the creators and they saw to it that Pen was infused with the "magic" that was needed to protect the world. That was how Pen the human, became Pen the dragon or Pendragon. From there he was taken by the creator of the world to the giant mountain outside the city. There he would be raised with the other three chosen children. They two had been transformed into a: black tortoise, white tiger, and a vermillion bird.
Together they were raised by an old man who called himself "Shin". Shin was a tall gentle man with a long gray beard, dark eyes, and long gray hair. He always dressed in red and yellow Buddhist robes and often relied on a large walking stick to move. Shin was a very kind man who never raised his voice. He was very philosophical and studious often incorporating lessons into everything they did. He taught Pendragon how to hunt, how to fight, how to protect, but also how to love, how to choose run or fight, and most importantly how to fulfill his purpose. He taught all of his "children" these things. And for all regards they were his children. Pendragon had no memories of being Pen. He was a dragon first, and later when his skills and magic were developed he could transform into a human as well.
Shin taught them to both protect and fear the humans. "You must protect them, but you must be careful. For if you do not they will destroy you." Shin painted stories of the harm that man had done. He told them all about the great keyblade war. How darkness in man created the dark creatures that they sometimes saw: the heartless. He taught them to protect them but never to get close. "You must never let them touch you. For if they do, they will corrupt you." These teachings and more filled their minds as they grew up.
The four children were all close. They grew up playing, eating, hunting, and sleeping all within the same cave. There was Whi the tiger, the leader of their group. Ming, the black tortoise, was the calm and smarts of the group. Also there was Kori, the fast paced and energetic of the group. The last of course was Pen, the shy and dedicated one. Together they were inseparable. Whi, always the leader, was the one who led the hunt, captured the biggest prey, made the best jokes, and was the most trouble for Shin. Whi was closest with Kori, their personalities complimenting each other. She was his partner in crime, always up for their next adventure.
Pen was closest with Ming. She seemed to understand him in a way that no one else could. As such he always made sure to protect her. Perhaps because she was the smallest and weakest of the four, Pen always made it his job to make sure she was alright. When things became to tough he'd throw her on his back and carry her. For his part Pen often came very close behind Whi. Even though Whi was the clear leader of their group, Pen's strength and speed clearly matched if not surpassed Whi. In fact on one occasion Whi accused him of allowing him to win in the hunt. "Your not playing fair! It's not worth it if you let me win!" Pen though had no clue as to what Whi was talking about. Surely, he did not let him win!
As they grew older their prey became bigger. They also began to observe the humans in the mountain trails below. It was always with Shin accompanying them. He would point to them and show them their nature and ways. On one occasion they watched as the humans fought each other. When Pen asked why it was they fought Shin said to them, "It is their nature. This is why you must be careful. For if you do not you will be corrupt just as they."
When they reached their teens it finally became time to say goodbye. They were to each separate and take care of their different sector. Each was to watch over the world and to aid the warriors of light if they were to ever appear. "Keep my lessons close. You are to watch over the world, not interact with it." So it was they were sent out into the unknown. Whi was sent to the west, to look after the imperial city. Ming would stay to the north to look after the mountain, mountain trail, and village below. Kori was sent to the south to look after the rolling hills and forests. Finally Pen was sent to the east to guard the lake and river lands. Shin would stay in the north with Ming. He had made the mountain his home, and he planned to stay there.
With nothing to carry, Pendragon flew to the sky and headed to his destination. The river lands were a less populated land. With the river and a lake close by, it made excellent opportunity for rice farms. The majority of the farms were owned by families. It made for a small population. Pen made his home on an island in the middle of the lake. The lake was quite large, enough for several families to own their own separate farms around it. At night a mist covered the lake, the locals speaking of the island at the center of it as the cause. They believed the island was sacred and holy and refused to enter it. The island served a perfect home for Pen. He would sleep in a cave during the day and at night he would hunt.
Pen's life became a lonely one. Secluded on the island he yearned for the companionship of Ming and his other siblings. He even missed old man Shin! Sadly, it was not allowed. It was only during the end of the year, where they all returned to the mountain for a single night. They would meet and tell the stories of their travels. As the years passed Whi typically had the most interesting stories. He found the humans fascinating! This usually turned into a one sided argument with Shin. The old man would repeat his warnings and scold Whi, in his non-confrontational manner, and Whi would end up raising his voice and telling Shin that he was didn't know what he was talking about. Beyond that, the meetings were joyous. Pen loved to hear their stories. They would hunt together again during the night just like old times. Pen lived for these single night experiences!
Unfortunately it would not last. (See sample post for rest of history)
Writing Portion
Sample Post (For first time character creators only. 10 sentences are required.):
As the sun was setting in the sky, Pen could not help but smile. That would have been an odd thing to see up close. A dragon's smile with its sharp teeth appeared just as menacing as would a lion's smile. Yet there was no one to see Pen on this island. The misty island, that's the name he thought of it as, was a generally quiet place. There were some birds and other animal critters in the woods that made up the island. Those creatures he kept alone. They were too small to be enjoyable for food.
Normally Pen would travel at night and hunt outside of the island. He would hunt in the lands surrounding the lake. This occurred every night. Well almost every night. Every night but tonight. Today was special. It was that one day of the year where Pen would leave the island and return to his mountain home. There he would see his brother, sisters, and old man Shin. It had been a year since he had last seen them, and he had quite a few tales to tell this time.
"Heck this year I might even have a better story than Whi!" He thought to himself. Normally Whi had the best stories. Living near the humans it was expected that he would. But this year Pen's tale involved a run in with one of those very beings! He couldn't wait to tell them all! He just had to wait for the sun to set already! Since the sun set in the opposite side, Pen was always the last to arrive at mountain.
When the sun finally did set, Pen extended his wings and took to the sky! Rising out of the mists that surrounded the island at night, he would seem like nothing more than a shadow to any who gazed out to the lake that night. Passing over the farms that covered part of his territory, Pen flew across the dark sky. He made sure to stay above the clouds, allowing the light of the full moon to light his way. The air in the upper atmosphere was cool, and no doubt a bird would risk freezing in such cold weather. Pen however had no such worries. Being a dragon, fire always warmed his belly. Freezing just didn't really happen.
As the mountain came into the view, Pen headed straight for the summit. This mountain was his real home. Pen had spent the majority of his life here. He missed this place! Landing at the foot of the great cavern Pen cried out. "I am here everyone!" He shouted into the cavern. Thought only his own voice echoed back.
Pen found that odd. He was always the last person here! Where was everyone?! Looking around Pen's eyes fell on a yellow figure that was to his left. That was strange he hadn't seen anyone at the foot of the cavern when he landed. Looking over at the figure, his eyes widened in surprise as he realized that it was Kori! She lay on the ground, unmoving! "Kori?! Are you alright?" He asked as he approached her. Getting a better view, Pen's eyes widened even more in disbelief. Kori's body was torn to shreds! "Oh my god!" He took a step back, shock and disbelief now quickly turning to tears.
"I did try to warn her." Pen spun his head to see a human walking out of the cave. This young human male stood at about six feet tall. He had white shaggy hair, blue colored eyes, pale white skin, and was dressed in a white fur coat with black pants and shirt underneath.
A human?! Here?! What was a human doing here?! Pen backed away as the human walked towards him. Even though Pen was a good four feet taller then the human, he feared the creature. He had been taught to stay away from them, so much so that he moved instinctively away. However, seeing Kori pulled him out of his daze. Had this human killed Kori?! "Who are you?! What have you done to Kori?! Where are my siblings?! Where is my father?!" Finding his voice, Pen found aggression and flame burning inside him.
The human smiled. "Don't you recognize me, Pen?!" And in that moment, Pen did. It was the eyes that spoke to him. While the features, the body, and even the shapes were different, there was no mistaking those blue eyes.
"Whi?!" Pen could hardly believe he was saying it.
Whi nodded. "I had told her if she stood in my way I would not pause to strike her down." This was all so confusing. What was going on? How was Whi a human? Regardless of what Pen was thinking, Whi continued to speak. "He lied to us Pen. I found out the truth! I confronted him and when he wouldn't listen... Well he was old anyhow. He even said his purpose was done now."
"No!" Pen ran past Whi, heading into the cave. Whi couldn't have! He wouldn't! Running inside Pen's worst fears were confirmed. Shi lay on the earth, blood flowing from a wound to a gash in his head. Next to him was Ming's shell, empty! Tears flew from his eyes then. He didn't understand! How could Whi do such a thing?!
"Your my brother Pen. I know your in shock now. I have learned a lot this past year. There is much you do not know. Much we weren't ever told. There are other worlds out there. And this! Ah this! Walking on two legs, being part of them. That's the big lie you know." Whi had come to a stop beside him.
Pen couldn't take his eyes off of Shin and the shell. Not Ming! Not is sister! Not his best friend! He only vaguely realized Whi was speaking. It was mostly going in one ear and out the other.
"It's only right I share it with you. And I will. But first you must learn about that side upon which you were never taught." As Whi put his hand on him, Pen suddenly found himself glowing. And then he was shrinking. And before he knew it, he found himself shorter than Whi. Confused, Pen glanced down and realized that he too had human legs. And... that's humans arms too! Bringing his hands up to his face, Pen felt skin not scales. "You're part human too Pen. We all are. When your ready come find me. I'm not staying on this world though. I've had enough of this land of lies and deceit." Confused, horrified, and amongst his dead family, Pen was left alone.
