Character Name: The Storyteller
Character Age: 64
Character Race: Satyr
Character Gender: Male
About the Character
Character Personality: A psychopathic old man trapped to narrate his own story, the Storyteller is a lost creature. He babbles consistently, often not making much sense to anyone that doesn't understand his illness. The old satyr is quick to anger, especially if his story is interrupted. The Storyteller believes himself to be the hero of the story, thus constantly referring to himself as "Our Hero" or "The White Knight," but
he is far from what he thinks he is. Still, if someone insists that they're the hero and he's not, he will not hesitate to try to shut them up.
Character Appearance: The Storyteller is a Satyr. He has long gray/white hair that is greasy and stringy hanging past his shoulders. His horns stick close to his head, and hang down past his ears. He is very bony, and his skin is beginning to sag around him, showing his ribs when he isn't wearing his brown, sleeveless tunic. His pants go down to his "ankles" which then end with a pair of black beaten up hooves. He stands at about 5'2". His eyes are blue, and he almost always wears a smug smirk on his face. Finally, the Storyteller's cane never leaves his side, but sometimes it seems like he may not need it.
Battle Statistics
Character Position:
Villain
Character Spells: N/A
Character Abilities:
Character Weapons:
Character Strengths: His clever wit is the Storyteller's greatest strength. More often than not, he will try to talk his way out of conflicts before resorting to violence.
Character Weaknesses: Just because he has enhanced strength doesn't mean he's the best fighter. He is in fact a very weak fighter and just swings around in a brawling fashion that isn't strategic or skilled.
Character History: The Storyteller was born a Satyr on Olympus outside of the city. Shortly after birth his mother died of illness and his father disappeared, leaving the Storyteller to be raised by his grandmother. Growing up, the Storyteller was a troubled boy. The absence of his parents and the feeling of being responsible for his mother's death caused the Storyteller to get into trouble. To distract his racing mind, his grandmother would tell him stories of the great heroes and gods of Olympus. He learned of the rivalry between Zeus and Hades and the story of young Hercules.
The Storyteller became lost in his grandmother's stories. Every day there was a new one to wander through and every day he fell deeper and deeper into the world his grandmother constructed for him. Until the day she died.
Dying on her bed, the grown Storyteller begged his grandmother to tell him one last story, but there were no more. She told him that she had told every story known to her, and now it was his time to create his own story. The Storyteller became enraged, demanding that she conjure up more stories before she dies, but she couldn't. The bubbling insecurities and psychopathy that lay beneath the Storyteller's surface since he was born finally exploded. He murdered his dying grandmother, loudly narrating what he was doing, beating her with a statue of Hades over and over. When she was dead, the Storyteller stood up and began narrating. Everything. He figured that he would do just as his grandmother suggested.
He would make his own story.

Sample Post: ((Okay, so this is where this gets weird. I'm trying a character I've been wanting to write for a while. Since he narrates everything, I'm allowing him to also be the narrator in my posts. Let's how this goes))
"Our hero steps out of the portal of darkness to look upon this small brown-toned town called Traverse. He sniffs the air and grimaces at the industrious stink that attacks his nostrils. 'Ugh,' he groans, 'how in the world could there possibly be a story here?' He takes his first few steps on the new terrain down a set of stairs and sees a little cafe. A Moogle stands at the entrance with the hazy look that most Moogles carry.
"Our knight steps past the Moogle as it turns his head to look at the newcomer and sits at a table in the corner. He looks around the empty cafe and sees a waitress heading his way."
"Hi there, what can I get for you?"
"She says with a certain pep that is enough to make even the most sane man lose his mind."
"Um, excuse me?"
"'Oh I'm sorry, our hero stammered, 'I'll just have one...do you have coffee on this world?' She nods. 'Coffee then.' The waitress gives our hero one last terrified look before walking away, knowing deep in her heart that if the coffee didn't arrive at the table in 30 SECONDS FLAT IT COULD SPELL TROUBLE FOR HER."

Character Position:
Villain
Character Spells: N/A
Character Abilities:
- Enhanced Speed: Despite his aged looks, the Storyteller has speed that can match the most skilled fighter.
- Enhanced Strength: Just like with his speed, the Storyteller is well equipped to match the strength of some of the most skilled combatants. These enhanced abilities are defenses that have developed as a result of the constant contradictions that certain "heroes" choose to present to his story.
- Turn the Page: The Storyteller has found a way to access the keyholes of worlds to teleport from one to another.
Character Weapons:
- Cane Sword: A katana that the Storyteller keeps in his cane. The hilt is made of wood, but the sword itself is made of a magical solid steel to protect it from breaking.
- Sheila: The Storyteller's favorite dagger. Sheila is made of the same steel as his cane sword. She is considered by him as his one true love. And she will kill anyone for him.
Character Strengths: His clever wit is the Storyteller's greatest strength. More often than not, he will try to talk his way out of conflicts before resorting to violence.
