Gazing down upon the far away sea beneath them, Law drank in all the joys of life that gave him light. Everything was here, in the sky. Everything he needed, anyway. Looking over at the wolf perched beside him, the pirate absentmindedly reached out and pet the beast before hearing the voice in his head, reminding him this was his teammate and not a pet. Strax had a barrage of questions, though all of them things the pirate had given much thought in his Captain's Quarters the night before. Leaning against the railing and resting his head on his hand, Law looked over at Charlotte, who had commented on the very thing that had made planning difficult. For a moment he looked out into the sky, the expression on his face seeming almost bored.
"Well, to be honest it's hard to say. Not many on this world have even made it to the island." His blue gaze fell back down towards the sea, a slight frown on his face. "On this world, many perils lurk in the waters. Many pirates don't have an easy time of it here. We're lucky that we're able to soar over it all." He had heard of this island from the locals, but they had been the only source of information other than what few pirates or sailors told him at the port. Many perished or returned without having ever seen the banks of the fabled cursed island surrounded in mist.
"We should reach our destination midday, which is perfect. Most pirates sleep in once they've set up a base. We'll be catching them in the middle of their breakfast." A cocky smirk emerged on the pirates face as he winked at his comrades. Law hadn't heard any rumors about the drawbacks of the Aztec curse, not knowing how to really damage the pirates at all. "Ideally, I'm looking to avoid an all out 'storm-the-gates' situation. The pirates are damned near impossible to kill. I'm hoping more that we can sneak in, grab the treasure and take 'em by surprise if any are aware."
"As for the landing..." At this mention, Law simply beamed at the green wolf with a devilish smile that bore nothing but mischievous energy. "We're going to drop in on 'em from above." The airship they were on was able to 'park' in midair without expending any fuel. This was mostly due to the suspension rotors Law had installed, as well as a sophisticated Graviga-G module that he had installed into a suspension rig. Because of this, they would be able to 'anchor' the boat (metaphorically speaking of course) above the island.
Law thought it a brilliant plan. Hearing Neku’s mention of a ‘pick-me-up’, the pirate cupped his hand and hollered after the young mercenary trainee as he departed to the hull below: ”There’s some breakfast out front of your door!” The sun was finally awake, having risen out of the horizon line to greet the day with its radiance. Hopefully the sail stayed smooth. So far, they hadn’t run into any issues.
He wondered what his comrades thought of the strategy he had concocted, well, at least the ones that chose to stick around.

Strax wags his tail as he gets pet and then becomes a little disheartened when it stops. -"He strikes me as the type of person who pretends he doesn't have a plan, and then shows everyone up by actually having one"- Strax replies to Charlotte. Strax listens to Law's details and closes his eyes to think. -"Does this ship have any artillery? If it does, if we have any trouble I can teleport someone back here to rain hell from above, should we get in over our heads."- Strax thought about the options and decided that either Law or Neku would make for the best choices in who to teleport back. Strax had no clue how to use cannons correctly, and he doubted Charlotte did either, though she was full of surprises.
Strax hopped down onto the deck before shifting back to human form. It was a silent transformation that gradually changed from one for to the next, painlessly. Strax's clothing teleported back onto him as needed to keep himself decent. "Whatever we do, we should do it as quickly as possible. The less time we spend down there, the less chances we have to be caught."

"Agreed," Charlotte said to Strax' assessment of Law. And he did actually have a kind of plan. It was a simple one, just sneak in and grab it. But no doubt that would change after they got there and knew more. "I can fly- by the way. So getting out of harm's way should be easy if one of you boys need a hand~" she teased as a pair of wings started to emerge from her back. So THAT was why her top was open at the back, not just for the obvious reason.
"Thought I'd show off mine since everyone else was doing it," she added just slightly suggestively.

Neku headed down back to the room, where, just as he'd been told, found a small package with a butter bun and some dried meat. He was used to that already, even if he wasn't used to ships. He grabbed the pack, and headed back to the deck, bitting onto the bread as he did so.
He walked back to the wheel as soon as Charlotte was showing her wings, almost about to choke with the bread he'd been numbing on. Neku shook his head, trying to understand what he just saw.
"O-kay!" he stated, "It is WAY too early to deal with this crap! And you've just made me wonder a WHOLE lot of different things. Both of you!" Neku looked at Strax and Charlotte.
"And I'm hoping YOU don't have anything under your sleeve, cap'n. I'm SERIOUS."

Law was reassured to hear that the psychic wolf at his side was capable of teleporting individuals from one place to another. That will definitely come in handy... The pirate began wondering how he could use this to his advantage, mainly plotting a scheme where the psychic could just teleport the treasure out of the hideout and be done with it. His thoughts were interrupted as Charlotte admitted to having wings. There was a lot more than met the eye when it came to this woman, as large bat-like wings emerged from her exposed back. Their span was impressive, the sight reminding Law of the Harpies he so dearly cherished. There was a faint blush to his cheeks as he looked away from the woman, gazing off into the clouds.
Hearing Neku's worry caused the pirate to laugh as he shook his head, wagging a ringed finger at the young merc. "No worries, mate. I'm just your average pirate." He grinned at the teenager who reminded him a bit of himself, his blue eyes brimming with devilish mischief. "Other than my ship, I don't have anything special like these two." Despite all the things he had seen, it had been his first time meeting a werewolf and...well, whatever Charlotte was. The fact she could also fly certainly helped, as it made getting off the ship in midair less complicated.
The voyage was smooth, the winds mild and skies clear. They made it to the island with no difficulties. Once arriving, Law took his spot behind the wheel of the ship, bringing it to a silent halt as it hovered in the air. Far below them was a large dome of mist, dark and shrouding as it swirled around the sea. The mist extended out all around the dome, gradually lessening the further out it got. The crew hardly would have noticed, being this high up in the air. The mist didn't effect them up here. In the center of the large dome was an opening, where the mist didn't meet. Law beamed as he saw that his suspicions were correct. It seemed they would be able to drop down onto the island just as he had thought.
Lowering The Harpy silently closer towards the island, Law made it so the ship hovered just above the opening in the shrouding mist. It certainly was a peculiar sight. The pirate was sure that from the sea level one couldn't tell where the mist began or ended. Grimacing at the thought of being lost at sea in its mystical shroud, Law stepped down from the raised platform at the stern of the ship, walking onto the deck with his hands behind his back. It was time.
"Alright, crew. We're not sure what exactly will be down there, so be on guard. I'm going to go down first." He pointed a finger at Strax, pleased to see him back in his human form. "Strax and I are gonna start by going down to scope out the area. Since he's got that weird mind magic of his, he can communicate with you two about what we see." Now he was gesturing towards the winged woman and the young merc. "Charlotte, Neku, you two are going to follow us shortly after, though you won't immediately join us on the island floor. Charlotte, if you can, I'd like you to fly Neku and yourself around the permitter of the island. Take out any guards or posts that they might have set up." With the woman's ability of flight and otherworldly magic, Law was sure that she'd have no problem with this task, especially with Neku helping her out. They didn't need anyone altering the island of their presence.
There was a broad grin, speckled with golden teeth as the pirate hoisted himself onto the banister railing that snaked around the deck of his ship. Excitement gripped him as he looked over his shoulder at the rest of his crew. "Land ho!" With that, the pirate jumped from the airship, plummeting through the opening in the dome of mist.
Falling through the sky was an intense sensation, one Law loved. Holding his arms at his sides and letting the wind pass through him, the pilot free fell through the mist, his eyes widening at what he saw below. The island was huge, covered in tall tropical trees and waterfalls that cascaded over the sides. There was certainly a small base established, built into the island in a crude fashion. It looked like there were also many caves. Damn it, it's bigger than I thought! He was surprised to see the small buildings that the pirates had built to shelter themselves.
In the middle of the island was a small encampment, lined with four tall lookout posts that peered out around the island. Luckily, being a single person falling, Law didn't think he'd be too noticeable. The fall was quick, after all, he was hurling towards the ground at a rather fast pace. At the back of the island was a tall mountain, the top shaping a hollow skull, one where most of the caves seemed to snake from. Well, that certainly looks suspicious. The pirate felt a glee surging through him as he rushed towards the island floor.
"Aero!" The spell was cast to save him from the harsh splat awaiting below. Surrounding himself in a powerful gust of wind, the pirate's fall gradually slowed until he was floating a few feet above the island shore. Hopping down into the sand, the pirate ran a hand through his dirty blonde hair, which was mostly stuck back from the fall. "Whew... what a rush!" Law took a moment to catch his breath, looking around him as he fumbled with his jacket pocket. Pulling out a small bronze flask, the pirate swigged his favorite drink to settle his excitement.
The shore was long and sandy, littered with the occasional rock or tree. Both ends bended around a corner, leading to another side of the island. Ahead of him was a lush tropical forest, the island breeze that swayed by pleasant on his skin. The sun was high in the sky, though the mist surrounding the island certainly dimmed it, almost making it look like dusk. Weird... The island was mostly silent, his boots crunching on the sand being the only sound other than the lapping waves he could hear.
He looked up above him, towards the opening in the large dome of mist surrounding them. Waiting for his crew to follow, the pirate excitedly waited on the shore.

Strax jumped shortly after Law, his cloak billowed in the wind. The fall down wasn't too bad. Strax heard Law call for Air magic and watched him float to the ground. Strax's eyes glowed gold as he used his psychic to make him fly down to the ground unscathed. Their mission was to scope out the island. Strax looked to Law, making quick eye contact. -"Did we want to split up, or do we want to stick together to scope out the island?"- Strax asked silently. He looked around the immediate area, looking for signs of life. It didn't even look like animals came to this island, let alone humans. Strax holds his hand out and summons a long metallic pole to his hand. A versatile weapon and a handy tool for exploring, his staff was a perfect companion for this job.

"You can actually be adorable when you try, you know that?"Charlotte giggled at Neku's reaction to her having wings. She listened intently to Law's "assignments" and wasn't sure whether or not she should be thrilled or displeased by hers. Maybe she was only slightly put out by the fact Law didn't want her tagging along. But she couldn't argue with wolfie's mind powers. She also wasn't sure what kind of guards down there would be an issue for them here when they could fly out of the reach of cannons.
"Well, I'm ready when you are," Charlotte offered Neku once they had arrived. Law and Strax had already moved out to do their thing, so it'd be best if they got things underway in a moment or two. She was already loving the fact they were in a more tropical local, unlike the time she had to go to an icy mountain to fight a weird lizard archer thing.

Neku looked flustered, and simply decided to turn his view somewhere else, especially after hearing Charlotte teasing him the way she did. It was embarrassing... At the redness made it clear.
"S-Shut up..." he mumbled silently.
He then paid attention to Law's instructions, and then saw how he and Strax jumped down to earth. He was stuck with the lady with wings... But it didn't look as if it'd be worse than what it already was. So, he just dealt with it.
"Let's go" Neku told Charlotte, "Hopefully, you can carry your own weight aside from mine. Both literally and fighting-wise."
Neku held his hand towards her, ready to scout the area and fight if necessary. The sword on his back was steadily and firmly hanging on its sheath, ready to see some action. And Neku himself was quite eager to fight.

Law quickly made his way deeper into the shore. The shake of his head and his motion for Strax to follow was his main answer to the mans question. It would be best for them to stay together, to best communicate with the other half of their team. Deeper into the island tree line the island was heavily shaded by tropical trees, giving the impression of nighttime. Keeping his voice low, as he wasn’t sure if the pirates would have lookouts on the island shore, Law turned to the green haired man. ”Tell Charlotte and Neku to keep a low profile. If they need to take any lookouts out it should be quiet.” He lowered himself, crouching behind many of the tall grass and bushes that grew on the island. The two were in the thick of the trees that lined the inner shore.
Taking care to watch where he stepped, the Pirate was almost silent in movement. It was clear that this was hardly his first heist that required stealth. Even with the steel toed boots and armor, Law was well practiced in the art of stealth. There were many tricks of the trade when it came to being a pirate. Keeping a hand hovered over his weapon holster, his blue eyes pierced the distance, taking in the small encampment the pirates had set up.
The walls around it were sturdy but not the tallest, being mostly made from cut trees. The four look out posts were the tallest part of the hideout, but that was all Law could really make out with the walls in the way. To the right he saw the island forest thin out, towards the left the shadows grew darker, and Law could make out the entrance to a small cave. Motioning for Strax to follow, Law kept his eyes peeled for any danger.
Once the two made it to the entrance of the cave, Law whispered again to Strax: “Check in with the others. I want to see how they’re doing before we come in.” So far had been easy, almost too easy for the pirates liking. It put him on edge. Truthfully, most of the pirates were most likely either still sleeping or just beginning to start their day, but Law liked to play it cautious just in case. Waiting to hear Strax's answer, Law ducked his head inside of the cave entrance for a moment. It wasn't the largest cave, hardly breaking 7ft for the entrance and the ceiling stayed about that height for the most part as far as the pirate could tell. It was a tight fit, only allowing at most two people to walk next to one another. Perfect spot for an ambush... Looking at the green haired man, Law wondered about the extent of his psychic ability. Raising an eyebrow, he whispered to Strax: "Oi, Strax. Can you see further into this cave at all? Like, with your psychic energy?" Even talking about it made him feel crazy. It would definitely take some getting used to, being comrades with a psychic werewolf. So far they hadn't come across any issues and the pirate wanted to make sure he kept it that way. Staying alert, Law kept pressed against the inside of the cave entrance, waiting for Strax before wanting to go any further. He hoped that Charlotte and Neku were faring similarly.

Strax shifts to a wolf shortly after landing, figuring being a smaller creature with fur the color of the surroundings would be best. His ears flicked in irritation as law spoke out loud He pads his way over to law to look him in the eyes. -"Law, I need you to THINK at me. Feel for my connection to you and you can call to me using your mind. Everyone has Psychic potential, some can tap into it better than others, but with me here, you will always be able to call me with your mind. If you need to relay information to others silently, call to me first and I'll open a connection for everyone. I'm kinda like a psychic phone operator. I can make group 'calls' to up to five people before it becomes exhausting."-
-"Charlotte and Neku, Law wants you to keep a low profile, and we want to know how your doing, please think at me, call my name with your mind and I'll hear you. In fact I have it set so both Law and I will hear you and can respond in real time."- Strax's eyes were glowing brightly a dead give away as to how much psychic power he was using to keep this connection open.
When asked if he could see further down into the cave Strax shook his head at law. -"Sorry, I don't have clairvoyance, which would allow me to see out of body."- -"Hey, also... I should make it clear, if I have to fight, I won't be able to keep this connection open, so if we stop responding, you should all know we are fighting. I will still hear if you call my name with your mind, but I wont necessarily be able to respond." Strax pants a little at the toll of switching from single to everyone so often.

Charlotte huffed at his statement about her carrying her weight alongside his. And then she got an evil idea, an impish grin playing across her face. Almost all at once, she let her other demonic features come to the surface. Starting with her spade tail, then her horns, and finally an extra set of eyes. "What makes you think I can't carry our weight? Hmmmm?~" She asked with a sensual purr during the transformation as she took to the air.
Wrapping her hands under his arms while her tail wrapped around his torso (just for added safety) before lifting him off the boat and flying down toward the island below. She really wanted to just scare him alittle more by dive-bombing toward the ground before catching them at the last moment. But the revealing her heritage may have been too exciting for him as it was. So she restrained herself this time as she flew down and gently set him down before joining him. "So it just dawned on me. If these pirates are half as immortal as Law claims, wouldn't our trying to take them out reveal our being here?" Charlotte asked thoughtfully before Strax spoke in their minds again.
A low profile huh? Then wouldn't it be better if they just avoided the pirates altogether if they were immortal? Well, maybe not avoid. But definitely they should keep a lookout. "So far it's all clear here," Charlotte mentally tried to speak back to Strax. This was an odd way of communication.

As Charlotte revealed her true form, Neku chuckled uneasily, and just shruged it off. He might've been shocked, but based on his expression alone, it was safe to assume he'd seen weirder. He just let himself be carried by Charlotte, and down they went to that island.
As Strax passed onto what Law had in mind, Neku quickly noticed how apparently twisted the whole plan was. While the pirate and psychic... whatever went on the search for the gold, Neku and Charlotte were going to scout the surroundings. And that meant possible fights against lookouts. Or, as Charlotte put it... Undead and immortal pirates. And that spelled trouble.
"Oi, what?" Neku yelled, both physically and mentally, "You're setting us to a guaranteed dead-end AND death itself! Do you even know what the hell you're saying?! We can't fight people we can't kill! They'll kill us first!"
Neku groaned, annoyed. Suddently, that adventure turned grimmed, and he didn't like it at all. He glanced over at Charlotte, wondering if she had any similar thoughts about the matter at hand.

There were a lot of thoughts that Strax had to convey, though half the messages just annoyed Law. For a moment he considered telling the wolf to simply turn it off and have the two of them keep going. He silently chuckled to himself as he rolled his eyes, shaking his head. -"Charlotte, I need you and Neku to just give us an idea of whether or not the pirates have any idea we're here or not. IF and only IF they notice you, PLEASE try to take them out as quietly as you can."- It was essentially basic recon, he didn't think he'd have to spell it out for them. Well, I did choose a bunch of novices. Beggars couldn't be choosers though. -"If it comes to a fight, just try to incapacitate them. It doesn't matter if you can't beat them up."-
He felt good as he began to slowly make his way into the cave, keeping a hand against the wall for guidance. Quietly he had unsheathed his long gun, keeping it down at his side and at the ready. -"Strax and I are inside one of the caves at the east of the island. I think it leads into the giant skull head mountain behind the encampment. Meet us here after you're done."- He was sure this is where they would hide the treasure, though found it odd that they hadn't come across any guards. Confidence guided his silent steps, as he was partnered up with a powerful psychic wolf and a woman with otherworldly magic. With Neku and him backing them up, he was sure the powerful comrades he had met could manage.
Rounding a corner, Law put his hand up for Strax to stop. The pirate was crouched down low to the ground, grateful for the shadows that kept him hidden in the cave. Up ahead was a large clearing in the cave, holes in the ceiling allowing the sunlight to pour through. In the clearing were a group of three pirates, sitting and playing dice while they drank. One seemed to be having a rough time, as they were cussing at the other two while throwing their Munny over. Law smirked a bit, it reminded him of old times. Past the clearing was a small tunnel entrance, much like the one they were standing in.
Keeping his eyes on the pirates, Law thought to Strax: -"What do you think, wolf? Can you get us through here with that mind magic of yours?"- If not, Law was slightly worried, as there wasn't many openings in the cave tunnels. They were cramped and forced to go in one continuous direction, it certainly wasn't the best layout for intruders, which is probably why they chose it.
Law waited for Strax's response, keeping his finger trigger at the ready as his gun rested in his hand at his side.

Strax easily conveyed all the messages as they came in, partially going absent minded for anything not of importance to the mission. He didn't need to be wasting brain space for keeping useless information. Strax padded along absently next to Law until he was stopped. Silently thankful that Law stopped him, he saw the pirates. When asked about getting by Strax nuzzled into Law's neck and side, distracting him as best he could. Strax then bopped Law in the face with his tail. When Law got the fur off his face and opened his eyes, he would see that they were on the other side of the pirates, still in the shadows, hidden. The pirates wouldn't have noticed anything.
-"Sorry for getting weird with you. I find in non emergency situations, if I teleport someone and they are focused on something intently the sudden change of perspective, positioning and environment can disorient them and make them vomit. So by taking your attention off of them, and then making you close your eyes, it allows for a smoother transition, though there is often a little confusion. We don't have to mention this to anyone if you don't want to."- Strax explained himself as best he could before reopening all conversation channels. Strax padded along ahead on their linear path.
-"Neku, Charlotte, you two can use this to find where we entered."- Strax concentrated hard and the memory of where they entered transferred to the two, as if they had been there themselves.

"Shhhhh," Charlotte hushed Neku at his yelling. They were supposed to be sneaky unless otherwise, mentioned by Law. If they had noticed, there'd probably more boots on the ground, perhaps an alarm. Basically the fact that no one seemed to notice the flying ship was a good indication that they were in the clear for now. "Anyway, we don't even know if it's a dead end. We haven't tested just how immortal they actually are either," Charlotte added before the flood of information as to how the other two got in went into her brain.
That was... an unusual feeling that she wasn't sure whether or not it was comfortable. Probably thinking too much on that. "I think I hear someone coming. Let's hide over there," she suggested at voices drawing closer. They weren't urgent, probably just one of the patrols.

Neku noticed a bit too late, and apologized promptly, shutting his mouth. He had been told a few times before that being loud was both a good and a bad thing. And he heard it from Law: he had to scout and be sneaky, not gather unwanted attention.
As Charlotte mentioned hearing someone, Neku quickly perked up, and heard footsteps as well. He nodded at her suggestion to hide, and made sure to hide himself as much as he could. The night sky helped in camouflage, since he wore black and dark blues. Neku readied his hand around the sword's handle, just in case he had to silence them.
"If we can't get rid of them, we bail" he told Charlotte in a whisper, "Let's try to confuse them as much as we can. Confusion's gonna be our ally here, especially in the night. And I think you can agree on that one, can't 'cha, lady?" he added, smirking.
"Law, Strax, we've found a couple patrols. They're not headed your way, though, so don't panic. Keep your eyes open, even if they're not headed there. We'll try and see what we can do. Got it? Charlotte and I got this."

For a moment, Law's vision was blurred by green and a soft sensation covered his face. It only lasted a moment, as he blinked and suddenly he was crouched next to the green wolf, but across the clearing with the gambling pirates. Blinking in confusion for a moment, Strax's voice echoed in the pirate's head as the telepath explained what had just happened. Oh...so this is the teleportation he mentioned. Law grinned at his comrade, giving him a pat on the head and a silent thumbs up. They now stood in a similar cave tunnel as before, though this one was much taller and had more space.
The tunnel wasn't very long, but what worried him were the large crates that lined certain parts of the walls. Based on the thin golden streams of light that poured out from the setting sun behind the crates, Law figured that they led to small openings or alcoves in the tunnel. It could be that it was simple cargo...it could also be that it was an ambush. -"Have your guard up, Strax."- The pirate thought the sentence, focusing on the wolf hard. They couldn't lose the advantage of stealth they had gained. Silently, he pulled out his long gun, keeping a finger on the trigger as he took a slow and steady step forward.
Creeping through the tunnel, all was silent save the wind that would pass through the small cracks and openings on the occasion. If the two were discovered here, they would immediately be surrounded by the pirates from the earlier clearing as well as any that would arrive as reinforcements from ahead. Gritting his teeth a bit, Law continued his slow and steady crouching gait. Just as on the shore of the island, the pilot proved to know a thing or two about moving quietly, even with the armor and trinkets that he wore.
Motioning for Strax to follow, Law began to sneak through the cave tunnel, keeping his blue eyes peeled on the crates that lined parts of the walls. All it would take was one wrong step or sound and it could be over. He wished he could sip his flask, though couldn't risk the noise it would make. Furrowing his brow, the pilot vowed to take vengeance on the pirates that would force him to halt his habit.
They'll pay...
Two pirates walked through the island shore, the golden sunset at their backs. It's not like either of them would appreciate the gorgeous pink and orange sky that washed over the sea, the tropical breeze that swayed. Neither of them could feel any of these pleasures, anymore. One was a tall brute with thick muscles and many scars, while the other was a shorter and stockier man, most of his face covered in a thick and mangled beard. Walking through a small path through the thin tropical trees and greenery that filled the island, the two pirates passed by Neku and Charlotte, absorbed in their own conversation.
"Shut yer yap! I wanna drink!" The taller and more muscular pirate barked at the shorter one. It seemed the two had already been arguing and weren't about to stop. The stockier pirate growled, his voice slurred a bit. "Idiot! We're 'spose to be guardin' the treasure!" The two were blowing off work, walking through the spotted island trail away from the large looming cave, marked with a large skull head. What could one expect, when relying on the help of criminals who murdered and stole for fun?
Snorting a bit, the taller pirate shook his head and crossed his arms, turning to look down at the other man. He had stopped walking. "Aye, but it's not like we need to be there. The Cap'n put up that fog, no one can get here." The smaller pirate rolled his eyes, but didn't seem to argue this point. The larger man bumped his shoulder. "'sides, I won the last game o' dice, so's my treat." The shorter pirate slapped away the other's hand, grabbing his beard in frustration. "You idiot! You can't get drunk, remember?" Scowling down at the shorter pirate, the muscular one began to walk down the path with a raise of his hand. "F&^k you." The obscenity was hurled from the taller man as he walked away, the shorter pirate jumping in fury and running after him, shouting insults of his own. It seemed that Neku and Charlotte's stealth had succeeded.

Strax, being rather nonchalant about his walking, pads his way through the room. He knew he didn't have to worry about staying silent with his paws as soft as they were. He simply paced his path through the hallway, avoiding anything that wasn't solid rock, and if it came to it, he would use his psychic powers to float over obstacles. Once he was to the end he turned to watch Law and offer psychic floating assistance to him if need be. As long as no one came around the corner they would make it through silently. He was a little worried about the boxes that surrounded them, but he figured as long as they didn't make any noise the boxes wouldn't end up being disturbed.

Charlotte followed suit and hide with Neku. It was far from a glorious or comfortable hiding place but one had to make sacrifices from time to time. Other than the fact her hair was red, the rest of her clothes were dark enough to blend in. And that was all she really needed as she listened to the conversation, only peeking out (for reasons) and seeing if there was anything strange about them. Nope. Looked like "normal" pirates to her. She was starting to think this Immortal myth was just that, a myth. It was totally something that a crew of pirates would invent to try and strike fear into their enemies. But she was not ready to rule it out just yet.
"Sneaked around any pirate islands before?" Charlotte asked Neku quietly, still keeping her eyes and ears open for pirates snooping around. This part seemed like the dullest part of this whole thing. But it was still kind of important, and the fact they could get found was... kind of exciting in theory. Was this what Diana liked doing? Her baby sister never went into any detail as to what she had been up to before they had been "reunited" so to speak.

"Nah, not really" Neku smirked, seeing the two pirates moving away, "Looks like they didn't see us... Let's keep goin'."
With that Neku moved sneakily out of hiding, and looked at Charlotte, waiting for her to start flying back up. He couldn't do that by himself, after all...
"Oi, Strax, Law, you can still hear me, right?" he thought, looking to where the pirates had gone to, "So far, it's just two... Anymore on your end, or nah? 'Cause they're legit not worried about outsiders, because of the fog. So, if ya got anything, just tell us. Could come in handy, y'know."
