"Everyone knows the best way to not be bored, is to shake things loose with disposable minions. Normally I get hero-types which have hollow platitudes they throw at me... to which I laugh at," Fasilli spoke up before once again sticking his upper half into the hoola hoop, dragging out the Steves within. "Don't wear yourselves out too much, it's much too soon for nap time," Fasilli scolded the pair he had grabbed before dropping them. They landed with toy honk sounds and Steved in protest. "You know Exodia is banned under the 'sportsmanship' clause. Now go make yourselves helpful, and dump that in there," Fasilli tsked in response as he pointed his micane at the Piezooka, which was now trapping the first Steve under it. They scurried over and the pair of them clumsily maneuvered back toward the hoola-hoop, wherein one tripped and fell in with the Piezooka while the other one laughed... and then was casually nudged into it next by the third one.
"It is also my understanding that this world is home to people who have lost theirs in some manner. Hatty has been fickle with explaining ut to me, claims it's a long and boring story that only gets longer and more convoluted due to poor writing... or something. At any rate with that in mind, and given yer being here. Am I safe to assume that you and... whoever is tagging along with you have likewise lost yours?" The Girl waited until the shenanigans died down before asking her own question, speaking with a very knowing tone and look in her... briefly glowing eyes.
"Young miss, don't let your dealings with devils spoil yer manners," Fasilli interjected from the sidelines.
"OH! Quite right... my apologies. I am Viorela Rozalia Dragomir, and I wish to know much more about these... heartless," she turned red with embarrassment before introducing herself and curtseyed briefly.

Hearing Fasilli lament about 'hero types', the Vagabond nodded in understanding. He too had been subjected to empty platitudes and hollow righteousness many times before, given the nature of his 'hearts'. Some were less forgiving than others, after all... Watching the pair of Steves assisting another with the large pie weapon, the hooded vagrant wondered just where on the spectrum the masked performer and their little aids fell along the spectrum.
"It is also my understanding that this world is home to people who have lost theirs in some manner." The fancifully dressed girl spoke up, reminding the Vagabond of some vague information they'd half-forgotten. Indeed, the true nature of Traverse Town was to gather those lost but had yet to be claimed by the Darkness that had forsaken their homes. Despite some of the finer details having been taken from the Vagabond's memories, the peculiar researcher still retained that much knowledge of the world's nature. "Am I safe to assume that you and...whoever is tagging along with you have likewise lost yours?"
The question caused him to remain silent, his shrouded gaze falling to the ground. I wonder about that... Truthfully, given the state of the Vagabond's fractured memories, he had no idea about the state of his own home world. For all he knew, it was one still alive and well—or one that had been devoured so long ago, no one would remember its name. He couldn't even recall whose heart he was taking advantage of freely—just that it was important...the cornerstone of his research.
"Young miss, don't let your dealings with devils spoil yer manners," Fasilli's comment caused the Vagabond to bark out a hoarse laugh. The hooded man lounging on the fountain said nothing in his own defense, for the hatted character wasn't wrong with their definition. He was hardly different from the demons lurking in the shadows...if anything, his humanity was a mere fraction of something left behind.
A mockery composed of remains leftover.
"I am Viorela Rozalia Dragomir, and I wish to know much more about these... heartless," Introducing herself formally, Viorela seemed embarrassed at having to be chastised to do so—not that the Vagabond had minded. Introductions only ever made the man uncomfortable, after all—seeing as how he'd forgotten his own name long ago.
"Ah—a scholar, are you?" Sitting up on the fountain rim, the Vagabond leaned forward and rested his elbows on his knees in order to place his hooded head in his hands. Only one rocked a fingerless glove, dark black like the night. It was what was under it that reminded him of what he truly was. "What a miserable curiosity you have~" Seemingly finding his own comment funny, the hooded vagrant chuckled.
"I myself dabble and tinker with the little monsters...though I care less about them and more about their nature." Perhaps he'd found some likeminded folk, after all? "Sadly, most of my research was lost...so it's back to square one for me." Not that he could recall how far along he'd gotten, to begin with. Looking up towards Traverse Town's endless starry sky, the Vagabond hummed thoughtfully. "It isn't my first time in this world, though...that much I know. I've forgotten where it's secrets lie...but in a way, starting fresh is exciting, too~"
Clapping his hands together, the Vagabond remembered Viorela's first question. "Ah! That's right...I'm simply a vagrant with no place to call home. I'm not sure if it's something lost to me, or if I'm just lost from it...but regardless, there's no turning back once the adventure begins." He spoke in a rather carefree manner about something that would otherwise be considered a heavy or serious situation. Shrugging a bit, the hooded man's feet kicked idly against the fountain wall.
"What about the two of you? Are you both here because you've lost your home?"

"Life is filled with delight and misery aplenty," Viorela in response to her curiosity, neither confirming or denying that she was a scholar more than she was just someone with a particular interest in certain things. It was a little disheartening to hear he had lost his research though, that meant unless he could recite it by memory she'd have trouble gleaning anything else meaningful. Unless of course she could persuade Fasilli, though he seemed like he knew less about the creatures anatomically or scientifically than he implied. She had forgotten how much of a trickster he was with their time apart.
"On the contrary, we are here of our own free will- that is to say, Hatty chose this place first," Viorela added glancing at Hatty who seemed to be pulling Steves out of the hoola hoop again.
"Correct. The Heartless had barely any time to find ours before a certain... interested party purged them and locked the world up," Fasilli replied cryptically as he did a head count of the Steves. Seemed like they would all get to have a tour of things. "Steve, yer in charge of showing this lot around. Make sure none of them get lost or else someone will complain about the unstoppable whimsy," Fasilli was referring to the Steve with his backpack and flag, who Steved in response.
"Be that as it may, once it was unlocked, we left and here we are," Viorela continued simply.

Viorela's neutral yet sound response was exactly the type the Vagabond would expect from a scholar. Nodding in agreement, the hooded vagrant also found that it made sense for the pair (well, trio—counting the Steve) to be in Traverse Town of their own accord. They didn't seem like the type to be pulled by any whim but their own...truly troublesome types, really. "The Heartless had barely any time to find ours before a certain... interested party purged them and locked the world up,"
The Vagabond tilted his head in vague recognition at this. Where had he heard of worlds being 'locked up'? Or had he experienced it...? Something had happened to World Hearts he'd fiddled with in the past, right—?
Fasilli barked out orders to the Steves, yanking the vagrant from his failed recollection. "Once it was unlocked, we left and here we are," Simple as that, really. But who was able to seal off the Heartless completely? Would such a thing work to...? The hooded man wore an unseen smile, clapping his hands together and hopping from the fountain wall with sudden eagerness.
"Well, glad to have crossed paths~ It isn't every day I find those with similar interests..." Grabbing the pie from the wall, the Vagabond seemed to be ready to start the tour. He was familiar with Traverse Town, for the most part...but he couldn't recall its many secret ways and the underbelly of it all. Perhaps these two, especially the masked performer Fasilli, were exactly the kind of guides he needed! Not only that, but their own experiences proved curious...anything could help his research, now that he'd lost the Reports.
"I may have lost my research, but I still know how to catch a Heartless and tamper with its nature." While the Steve prepared and the pie was secured, the Vagabond struck his deal to the pair! "As 'thank you' for the tour—I'll secure you one of your choosing. This world is close to the darkness, so it should have a wide array of Heartless to pick from~"

"It seems rather foolish to lose all of your important notes," Fasilli pointed out teasingly once he had his Steves all in a row. In his mind those notes must not've been very important after all!
Viorela did frown slightly when he mentioned he had lost his notes, but that couldn't be helped right now one way or the other. Also she was sure Hatty could also capture a heartless if their previous experience was anything to go off of. But what did he mean by tamper with its nature? The scholar in her was curious. "That would be most satisfactory. But it won't hurt it will it?" She asked with more consideration than such creatures deserved.
"Probably not any more than those who have used them to their own ends. Unless you mean physically tamper with them, it probably won't be necessary to tamper with them. As you undoubtedly observed, the young miss is capable of charming them," Fasilli chimed in, but he was also curious as to what The Hobo intended. He was more curious as to what kind of Heartless the young miss would want, knowing that there might be a few she'd especially take a liking to but those didn't wander this world last time he checked the wiki was here.

Fasilli's comment about the Vagabond losing his research caused the vagrant to sigh a bit and shake their head. "That's just the way things shake out, sometimes..." Part of it was that damned castles fault. The rest—well, by the time he'd finally managed to sift through his broken memories and recall where his makeshift lab was, the remaining notes and work he'd kept there had been taken or sabotaged. "Someone was intrigued by my work, it seems. I took it as a compliment~"
The drifting researcher had been robbed while he'd been away, hunting through a vast labyrinth once more that meddled with its inhabitants and had forced him to lose his way for longer than he'd intended. Alas, all things come and go. Shrugging it off, quite literally, the Vagabond's tone hardly seemed bothered. He at least hadn't lost the skills needed to conduct his research—that was what mattered most. He'd been confused by that, at first, but it wasn't his heart that had those skills to begin with...
Viorela's concern about the Heartless' well-being yanked the Vagabond from his musings. The notion alone was enough to cause the hooded man to bark out a laugh—though it rang hollow. "A softie, are you? That's good...empathy is usually hard to come by, for those who scuttle around in the dark. Hang onto that~" His tone almost seemed sarcastic, though his casualness implied a subtle genuineness as he filed in along the Steves.
"It probably won't be necessary to tamper with them. As you undoubtedly observed, the young miss is capable of charming them." Excited to get the tour underway, the Vagabond simply shrugged at the masked performer. Picking at the pie they had been carrying like a treasure, the vagrant swiped at some of the whipped cream on top before spooning the finger full into his shadowed mouth greedily.
"Huh...I wasn't sure how long those 'charms' could last. Either way, I'm willing to help~ You scratch my back, I scratch yours, as they say!" He wasn't sure who 'they' were, but the Vagabond was pretty sure that's how the saying went. "Shall we?" Filed in line with the Steves, the hooded man was picking at the pie restlessly as he looked between Fasilli and Viorela.
It was clear he was ready for the tour to begin!

"It's more that I distrust people more than unthinking creatures that don't know any better," Viorela replied simply in response to her being a softie. Hatty would be the only one here that would know where that came from, but she wasn't going to let bad memories sour her current experience. Either way the tour was indeed ready to begin and so The Steve with a flag would lead the way. It was difficult to understand what Steve was saying for obvious reasons, unless you happened to be Fasilli or Viorela who seemed to understand their Steve Sounds.
"That home over there I believe a familiy of Dalmations lived in- white spotted dogs," Fasilli pointed out in passing, followed by a Steve snapping a picture of the outside of it. "And Batman's gearworks building there... just has a bell atop of it like I mentioned. If it has any other purpise I don't care enough to know, especially when it reminds me of Ashenterran Dogs," Fasilli continued along with Steve who Steved up to him. "Unfortunately that is not a breed of actual dog. Just people with very wrong and backwards beliefs," Fasilli said with the first hints of actual animosity since they had arrived. Must be very bad people if the chaos wizard disliked them.
"I quite enjoy the idea of some of their beliefs. Not all of them, like their stance against magic is backwards as you said," Viorela partially agreed as a couple Steves had somehow switched out their normal 'masks' with what was clearly Gas Masks. They seemed to be making a reference to something, pretending to be very Serious and uptight soldiers before bursting out in Steve laughter.
"If you little ones aren't careful, Commander Steve will actually conscript you," Fasilli teased as they arrived in the next district which had a waterway along the length. So far no Heartless but who knows when those would pop up again.

Though Viorela's retort left an air of mystery, the Vagabond was quickly swept up along with the line of Steves as the tour began! Setting off throughout the Second District, the hooded vagrant picked at the pie they held while listening to Fasilli's commentary over the chattering sound of the tiny masked helpers. "That home over there I believe a family of Dalmatians lived in—"
The Vagabond gaped from beneath his hood, as the home in question was a rather impressive looking manor. Surely nicer than anywhere he'd holed up in...at least, from what fractured memories he could call upon. Not letting the fact that a couple of animals had an abode (and a lavish one, at that) while he himself roamed the worlds shelterless get him down, the vagrant listened with intrigue as Fasilli continued.
Eyeing the Clockwork Tower he'd been investigating earlier, the Vagabonds hidden gaze lingered on the bell. Hm...so they don't know anything about it, either? Why did he have the nagging feeling he was forgetting something?
Fasilli's tone shifting into the first hint of genuine anger the Vagabond had heard caught the 'researcher' by mild surprise. "Ashenterran...?" The title didn't jog any memories, though that really didn't say much at this point for the vagrant. He wasn't sure who these folks were, or what they did...but it must have been bad. The hatted tour guide hadn't even shown such emotions during their battle, earlier!
"Their stance against magic is backwards," Viorela's comment was mildly vague...both her and Fasilli seemed to talk in ways that alluded more towards mystery than clarity. As someone without access to magic, the Vagabond couldn't understand being adversed to it...maybe jealous, but against it? Pondering the thought as they made their way into the Alleyway, the vagrant took in the surroundings behind the stretch of buildings.
No signs of the Heartless... Or what he was looking for. Glancing around as the group walked by the Waterway, the hooded man would stay wary—ready in case the demons of the nights emerged, as well as staying on the lookout for any signs of the Heart of the World. Watching as the masked tour guide chastised the many Steves, the Vagabond felt it wouldn't do him much good to ask about such things outright.
Most likely he'd either receive a non-answer that left him chasing a riddle or worst case scenario, his research would become jeopardized. No, it was better to ease into such matters. "I can't remember the last time I was here..." Whatever he'd done during his previous visits in Traverse Town, the hooded traveler hadn't been recognized in this world yet. He'd even been able to pick up a few local rumors, such as those surrounding the bell. "Are you on...'good terms' with the locals?" So far, no one had chased them off or noticed their presence...
Considering the fact Fasilli summoned up Heartless in the Second District, the Vagabond eyed the masked tour guide curiously. If they'd been to this world before and started up trouble, were there certain areas the group would do better to avoid? The last thing the vagrant wanted was to have to try and ward off locals, on top of searching for what was already hiding from him...

"I haven't," Viorela admitted simply as the Steves had Steavily replaced their masks as if nothing had happened. They didn't want to be conscripted and bored to death!
"Yes and no- I have been here before and even if I were on bad terms with the locals, they've never seen me like this before~" Fasilli said ever remaining cryptic and hinting at things to be mysterious.
"You cling to that man's visage- why?" Viorela asked curiously.
"No clue~" Fasilli shrugged as their wandering would finally take a turn for the interesting, with Heartless appearing in their traditional little dark energy burps. One of which was a wyvern.
"Is... that a dragon?" Viorela's tone shifted to that of a child seeing an expensive toy in the window. Except in this case she could totally afford the toy.
"Is that the one you want left?" Fasilli asked as the Steves hid behind him.
"Well I would prefer as many as possible, but that one in particular yes," Viorela replied completely unphased by the potential danger.
"That depends on our new friend and how fast he works," Fasilli said giving his miccane an idle animation twirl. Oh the heartless were bored and moving in now~

"Even if I were on bad terms with the locals, they've never seen me like this before~" Fasilli and Viorela's answers allowed the Vagabond to breathe easy. The vagrant was intrigued at the allusion at the masked guide being able to change their image, though it seemed somewhat rude to ask about such a thing—especially since he himself hid in the comfort of his hood and jacket so freely.
"You cling to that man's visage—why?" Viorela's comment caused the Vagabond to eye Fasilli curiously. Though they dodged the question (either that, or perhaps they themselves truly didn't know the answer—something to which the Vagabond could relate to), the hooded drifter couldn't help but wonder about who 'that man' was. If even the masked performer's own traveling partner was left out of the loop, it was doubtful that it was something easily learned about.
Whoooosh....! A familiar sensation washed over the Alleyway as darkness fell. Heartless began to emerge from the shadows as the group came to a halt. One of the many was a Wyvern, a winged Heartless resembling a mixture of a gargoyle and dragon. This specific enemy seemed to pique Viorela's interest—the look in her eye akin to that of the Vagabond's own, back when he'd been looking for test subjects at the start of his research. Not that he could recall such details...
"Is that the one you want left?" While the Steves hid behind Fasilli, the Vagabond's large Darkside arms slowly began to bubble and emerge from his back.
"Well I would prefer as many as possible, but that one in particular yes," The vagrant found himself smirking at Viorela's response. She was somewhat greedy, after all, huh? It wasn't a bad trait to have, for a scholar. Hearing his cue while the masked performer summoned the odd cane they used, the Vagabond nodded and stepped up in front of the group.
"On it." They'd made a deal, after all. Having only just begun the tour, the Vagabond hardly planned on backing out now. While the massive dark limbs on his back began to stretch forward, hands outstretched and reaching for the group of Heartless, their own hands clapped together as a dark purple aura started to surround him.
Springing forward suddenly, the Darkside limbs would work to snatch up the Heartless—trying to grab a bundle but primarily focusing on the Wyvern. As they did so, the Vagabond himself leapt forward as dark sigils of an unknown origin began to form and hover in the air around him. Using his Sealing Technique II, the sigils would circle and wrap around the Heartless that his Darkside limbs had ensnared, acting as though chains.
Subduing whatever enemies he'd caught, the Vagabond would pull the Heartless to him and place them down in front of him. Dropping them down, the large limbs of darkness at his back would remain vigilant in case of remaining enemies. Whichever enemies Fasilli took care of, he wouldn't interfere. Seeing the magician's powers firsthand, the hooded vagrant knew better than get in the middle... Should he have been successful in capturing the Wyvern and others, he could begin his real work.
"I have to do this one at a time, but rest assured—these Heartless shall be yours." Thankfully, the seal would work in keeping the otherwise rowdy enemies subdued as he did so.

"Very good~" Viorela gave her parasol a twirl as more heartless appeared more directly around her- but these were the ones she had charmed before. You could tell because their eyes were a different color.
"Hey guys, Fasilli here in the back alleys of Detroit. Can't have nothing in Detroit!" Fasilli quipped as he reached behind his back and drew two swords that gleamed unnaturally with light. "Fly my pretties! Go politely convince the essence of the haters to leave their bodies~" Fasilli continued with an unhinged amount of glee as his knives also appeared out of thin air, after he had thrown his swords like boomerangs into the heartless still running about. With the friendly heartless AND the lethal weaponry left to fly around maliciously, it was safe to assume that nothing was going to be bothering Viorela... especially when Fasilli started dropping the bass using his miccane. Even something not fancy like an 'eruption' of rainbow fire from the ground was more aoe that attackers would have to contend with.
Meanwhile, according to all known laws of aviation it was impossible for the wyvern to fly. There was no way for its paper flappy wings to get its big fat body off the ground. The Wyvern of course flies anyway, because this is Anime the game which doesn't care what we think is impossible. Also simply put, it was moving up a little more to prepare for a divebomb attack against The Vagabond while the couple heartless not caught in The Seal tried to flank him.

With a bundle of Heartless subdued due to his Sealing Technique, the Vagabond nodded, satisfied. Chaos erupted behind him as the masked performer unleashed attacks on other enemies who had either escaped the vagrants leashing or just emerged. Radiant blades and an eruption of sound seemed more than enough to buy the houseless 'researcher' the space he needed. Unorthodox methods for an unorthodox being. Fasilli intrigued the Vagabond greatly—not only due to the powers they were able to distort reality with, but the very nature of their being was a mystery.
He glanced over his shoulder, seeing the aspiring Collector already surrounded by a squadron of tamed Heartless. It seemed both her and he would have their backs protected, for a while.
"Time to get to work~" Focusing in front of him as the Wyvern dived, evading his Seals, the Vagabond readied himself to capture the Heartless that Viorela had requested. While the simple-minded enemy charged forward, the hooded vagrant's large dark limbs lanced out from his back. You'll at least find a purpose with her...even if you can't be saved. As the gigantic limbs shot out, their massive taloned hands opened and pawed at the winged demon, hoping to slam it down into the pavement of the Alleyway to cage it.
How could a Wyvern ever hope to defeat a Darkside, after all?
One hand would lance directly to meet the charge while the other swiped from below, hoping to snatch up the creature should it try to weave through the air around the original's palming. Should the snatching be successful, the Vagabond would hold the Heartless in a firm grip with both massive fists, slowly pulling it back in towards him as his own hands began to glow with an eerie dark energy. "Please don't struggle. You have no meaning, as you are."
The Vagabond almost sounded sad, speaking directly to the Wyvern as the purple and black energy shimmered brightly in his palms. As both massive hands clenched and a screech resounded through the night, he knew his capture was a success! Pulling the squirming Heartless towards him, the vagrants own hands reached forward, plunging through the large Darkside hands containing the enemy and into the winged demons torso. "Now...let's dig deep~" Chuckling at his own lame attempt at humor, the Vagabond set to work.
While he tampered with the Wyvern's 'nature', he'd be prone to attacks—as the large arms usually defending him continued to contain the writhing and screeching Heartless. Though his Sealing Technique would last for those already contained, it would be up to Fasilli (as well as Viorela's troupe of tamed Heartless) to ensure the hooded vagrants work went undisturbed...

"And now back to our regular schedule programming after what feels like months of downtime~" Fasilli chortled, casually breaking the 4th wall as he more or less remained where he was. If anything, Fasilli seemed bored and disinterested in what was going on- which he was. Back in his day, there would've been a little more in the ways of interesting characters to bother but it felt like it was just the three of them. Oh well, this would have to do as Fasilli pulled out daggers and pincushioned another heartless that mindlessly scampered toward him, his swords and Viorela's new pets dealing with the rest. Oh right, their new associate was doing a thing. What a horrible time for something bad to happen- except there was a whole lot of nothing. The ground suddenly shook as something bad happened. It was a big, purple bad something. "Sir, I do believe yer in the wrong world entirely," Fasilli scolded, shaking his miccane at the Behemoth Heartless that appeared.
"OOooh, he's adorable," Viorela cooed, seeing another beatie she'd like to have. "But he doesn't seem very cooperative," she noted as the behemoth roared.
"My dear, stay near Serious Steve," Fasilli said seriously, pulling out a bell with a skull attached and giving it a ring.
A portal not completely unlike a Dark Corridor woul rip into existence, dropping off a single Steve-shaped figure. But there were two major differences, three if you counted the large spiked mallet they were carrying. The other differences was that this Steve wore all black, and their mask was a dulled, cracked gray compared to the bright white and colorful attire of the others. Serious-Steve Steved and instinctually lingered near Viorela as Fasilli snapped his fingers and brought his swords back. "How we doing over there friend?" Fasilli called over to the vagabond before clicking his heels together, and erupting from the ground in a fiery blast as he charged toward the Behemoth.

Twisting the inner workings of a lost soul was no easy task, though it wasn't the first time the Vagabond had done so. Focusing on the intricate work, the hooded vagrant smirked as the Wyvern's struggling lessened and it slowly seemed to lapse into a daze. That's right...submit. You'll still amount to nothing, but you'll at least have a purpose now.
Suddenly the ground shook with intense force, nearly rocking the Vagabond off of his feet. "Ooooh, he's adorable," After ensuring he hadn't lost his connection to the Wyvern (which was easier to maintain due to the large Darkside arm's grip on it), the hooded vagrant was finally able to gather their bearings and see what had caused the sudden disturbance.
"Where did THAT come from!?" The Behemoth having arrived seemed like a ridiculous stroke of bad and chaotic luck. The Vagabond had only seen a few of those large and powerful Heartless in the trenches of the Realms of Darkness or in the Rifts Between! They were not common in many areas... The nature and secrets of this world intrigued me...but perhaps its position between the realms was closer than I thought!
While Fasilli summoned a peculiar looking Steve with a menacing hammer, the Vagabond was motivated to finish their work with the Wyvern to conduct further research on the Behemoth—a rare and powerful Heartless they'd rarely come in contact with before. "How we doing over there friend?" The masked performer was already charging forward the new and imposing foe with another bizarre attack.
"Almost there!" The Vagabond hollered over the chaos of the battlefield, reaching deeper into the Wyvern with their glowing purple and black hands. Though the presence of the Behemoth had stirred the Heartless for a moment, the vagrant still had the power of a truly monstrous demon on their side after all—even if the fallen heart within them was only a partially turned Darkside. "There we go!" The Wyvern's bright yellow eyes seemed to dim for a moment as it's posture went slack—the large Darkside arms restraining it finally letting it loose as it collapse before the Vagabond, who had removed their own hands from its torso.
"If you'd like to enjoy your new pet, I'd suggest keeping it out of this fight~" Tossing the warning to Viorela as he ushered the 'turned' Wyvern to its new mistress, the hooded vagrant was finally free to assist Fasilli and focus on the Behemoth. It looks like it's time to conduct some research~ Using the large Darkside arms protruding from his back as large legs to hover in the air as he moved, the jacketed traverser began to make his way towards the battle.
"Stay clear of the horn!" It was both a warning to the masked performer of a powerful attack the rarer Heartless could perform, but also the main material the Vagabond hoped to harvest!

"Can't hear you over my getting dangerously close to the horn~" Fasilli replied as his leap turned into a flying dropkick, crashing into part of the large heartless' head where ANOTHER blast of fire erupted to propel Fasilli back toward the ground below. The Vagabond would immediately notice that the coat tails of Fasilli's coat suddenly morphed into pseudo-arms, reaching behind him and catching his fall as he slid to a hault. Viorela whistled and coaxed her new pet off to the side, The Serious Steve keeping between her and the Behemoth that had appeared- he also seemed to glare at the Wyvern for a moment which actually hesitated briefly. Oh now the behemoth was mad though, and was charging up that aforementioned special attack. Fasilli threw his swords out at its sides, pulling out another glass ball. "Let's see... count to three, carry the one..." Fasilli murmured as if waiting for just the right moment, and when the energy ball attack was just about to go off- he threw the ball right at the horn. It was almost half a year ago, but hopefully the vagabond would remember this trick where Fasilli completely negated and captured an attack he used in their little playfight. The swords meanwhile would continue to swipe and slash, unable to really get through the beast's thick hide as it got ready to leap. It was still fixed on Fasilli, and so leaped with the intent to land on him. Fasilli bent his knees and kicked off, his body suddenly dispersing into an icy mist as the behemoth landed where he was and through the mist before Fasilli reappeared on the otherside. "olé!" Fasilli taunted as the sound of applause erupted from thin air. Wait, now there was just music in general just playing now!

Fasilli's battle tactics were indeed always a sight to behold. The unorthodox way the masked performer fought were a mix between bizarre and efficient. While the Vagabond made his way towards the battle, he was thankful for the bizarre silly-man's odd 'capture ball' technique, halting the Behemoth's charged up attack of dark and powerful energy. It's nice when they're fighting with me... Fasilli's power was rough on the receiving end—but proved relieving when turned on a shared foe.
From the few (technically only two) other times the Vagabond had encountered these large and powerful Heartless, he knew attacks to its large and thick body would hardly do much. Its weak spot was its horn, the very thing he wished to collect—which would prove to be difficult with it leaping all around chasing after Fasilli. "Let's see if this will hold it down..." Striding through the air on the large Darkside arms propelling him, the hooded vagrant clasped his own two hands together, summoning dark energy as he began to chant the incantation for his most powerful seal.
Purple and black symbols of a nefarious origin began to etch and illuminate into the ground in a wide berth around the Behemoth as he laid out his Sealing Technique III. For a moment, large purple a black see-through walls of dark energy flashed where the sigils had emerged before disappearing, only leaving the symbols behind on the ground. "The barriers been set! This should hold it in, for a while..." Shouting out to Fasilli, the Vagabond had finally reached the edge of the barrier. Though this type of barrier could hold back devastating levels of darkness, he hadn't had these techniques back during his last encounters. It was an experiment!
Making his own way through the barrier, the Vagabond was slower to get in on the action. As a more defensive type, the hooded 'researcher' usually took a more relaxed approached to these situations. Using the length of the large Darkside arms to his advantage, he'd maintain a mid-range distance from the dangerous enemy. Suspended in the air with one arm, the Vagabond would control the other to lash out at the raging Behemoth with a mighty fist, aimed at the horn!
He hoped to work with Fasilli in wearing it down, with a goal of eventually tearing or breaking the horn off...

The Behemoth started rising to its feet once more, attempting to turn toward the current source of its irritation only for its horn to scratch up against the barrier. This put it in an easier position to get falcon pawnched. The glow around the horn was nearly completely gone. Meanwhile Fasilli was now reading a suspicious looking book that was totally not some kind of strategy guide. "Immune to fire and ice? Well that's just dull and boring... fiiiiine," Fasilli complained, tossing the book over his shoulder where it comically exploded and he called his swords back. For the record, Fasilli isn't one to shy away from violence- by the fact his idea of playing is only slightly attempting to vaporize his playmates. But as the behemoth started switching targets again, it also started to charge up an attack. "Here's some chopanese for ya~" Fasilli taunted as his legs became unnaturally long, just long enough for him to easily get onto the back of the behemoth and start chopping at the horn. After a little bit more of effort the sparkles that had been encasing it seemed to shatter and The Behemoth groaned as it collapsed and was stunned. "Be a good specified gender and roblox yourself- or try harder, because I'm already bored with you," Fasilli said dismissively as the air started to buzz and crackle with electricity, and The Behemoth started to stand up again. "Oh well this was a shock..." Fasilli forgot this was their other special attack and even when trying to jump back off, bolts of lightning erupted all around The Behemoth.
Fasilli now had a poofy afro and was signed. "Hooo- HAHAHAHAHAHA! That actually stung!" Fasilli chortled.
Also meanwhile, it seemed like something was going on near Viorella. How would one be able to tell? Well there were Neoshadows throwing themselves at her, only for Serious Steve to swoop in and flatten them so hard, it made the surrounding area almost completely shatter from the force. "Steve we don't have insurance, so if you could please try not to destroy the ENTIRE district, that'd be greaaaaat," Fasilli called over as his hair fixed itself.
Serious Steve Steved, opting to instead start batting Neo-Shadows into the sky. "So the cute little ones come in stronger versions? Interesting," Viorella mused atop the Wyvern which was on alert as Serious Steve continued to effortlessly one-shot all the things like a KH2 trailer.

While Fasilli perched atop the Behemoth and began to chop at its horn with their sword, the Vagabond decided on assisting. Not wanting to get cut himself, the hooded vagrant decided on attempting to further disrupt the large Heartless by shifting his focus on its stubby yet powerful legs. Lowering himself to the ground on his own two feet, the Vagabond controlled the large Darkside arms to stretch out and grapple with one front and rear leg on the horned beast's left side.
The bigger they are... While he began to attempt to topple the Behemoth onto its side however, the formidable foe unleashed a powerful lightning attack! Bolts lanced across the contained battlefield, striking the Vagabond and causing the Darkside arms to recoil, losing their grip as the hooded man staggered and stiffened in pain. "It's trying to fry us up!" Smoke quelled off of the man's jacket and form, though thankfully one of the few things the vagrant had going for them was their constitution.
Shaking off the lingering jolts of electricity from the attack, the Vagabond suddenly staggered as the entire area seemed to shake. Turning around on their heels, they witnessed NeoShadows swarming Viorella—who thankfully was protected by the Serious Steve. What's going on...!? First a Behemoth and now this!? Something was certainly off with this world's balance, even for a place lingering so close to the darkness of the 'in-between'.
Though the vagrant felt obliged to help his tour guides, the pull of a potentially rare research material was far greater. Deciding that Serious Steve had things handled outside of the barrier, the hooded man continued to focus his attention on the Behemoth. Unfortunately, there was little he could do—as his primary skills lied in barriers and dark magic...neither of which seemed would be very helpful or effective at the moment!
"Well...I suppose there's some merit to a simple approach~" He'd have to watch out for more spells from the giant Heartless, but could do little else besides dive in and use the raw strength of the demon within him. Running beneath the massive creature, sheltering himself from further lightning attacks, the Vagabond had the large Darkside arms stretch and reach up around the beast from underneath—where they both began to pummel its vulnerable horn with mighty fists!
His main goal was still to break off the horn, or at least a piece of it...but only time would tell if he could manage such a feat with the limited tools at his disposal.

Something was definitely off, but other than Viorela who was looking and Serious Steve who was smashing, neither Fasilli or The Vagabond would be able to notice anything yet until they weren't busy. While his dark aligned ally got under the behemoth, Fasilli saw the little magic capture orb on the ground from earlier. Thankfully it had escaped being flattened. Fasilli stretched a noodly arm over and picked it up, once again letting his swords loose to target the horn in tandem with The Vagabond. "If yer hands aren't pain proof I'd recommend moving them in three... two... .... ONE!" Fasilli alerted The Vagabond as he swung and stretched his arm up at the horn.
Between the pummeling and the swordplay, the protective magic around the horn was already fading when Fasilli slammed the capture ball down hard on the horn- resulting in a blinding peel of power as it exploded! All of that power the behemoth tried to use in its special attack being released as an explosion. "OW, that actually hurt!" Fasilli yelped pulling his hand back, the gloved hand being blackened as he flicked his wrist several times as if that'd help. That last push was just enough to break the horn with only... some damage to it. The horn wouldn't be in one piece but it wasn't in several pieces but the more pressing matter would be whether or not The Vagabond was still beneath as it started to topple.
The waves of neo-shadows also started to let up as Viorela seemed to be looking toward one of the nearby rooftops...

"If yer hands aren't pain proof I'd recommend moving them..." Hearing Fasilli's warning, the Vagabond withdrew from his assault. While both of the Darkside arms recoiled from the Behemoth's horn and returned the the hooded vagrant's side beneath the beast, the eruption from the powerful magic released from the 'capture ball' caused a blinding light. Even with his hood, the Vagabond ducked and shielded his eyes, staggering from the impact as magic thundered and erupted on the Behemoth above.
It was only a moment, but in that moment, the large enemy he stood beneath was beginning to topple! The large Darkside arms shot up reflexively, not on command, holding up the mass that would have otherwise fell and crushed the 'researcher'. Just as the Vagabond heaved a sigh of relief, something caught his eye within the battlefield, on the ground nearby—something large and in two clean pieces. Success!
Rushing over and out from beneath the defeated Behemoth, the Darkside arms would allow the beast to fall once the hooded man was safely out from its shadow. Just as the vagrant was nearing the pieces however, the fallen Heartless was beginning to dissipate! Having been felled, it was slowly dissolving back into the darkness it came from... Not yet! He wouldn't be able to salvage the whole thing, but even a fragment would do wonders for his purpose.
Extending forward from his back, the Darkside arms reached one of the horn pieces quicker than his own body could, pulsating with darkness. Once they grasped the piece, the horn fragment seemed to glow and flash with an eerie and sickly purple and black for a moment as the Vagabond re-infused it with dark energy to sustain its form, draining him of his own internal energy (it wouldn't be a lasting effect, but he would indeed be more fatigued because of it). "Perfect...!" The Behemoth disappeared, along with the other fragment of the horn he hadn't been able to salvage as the 'barrier' he'd constructed for a 'battlefield' faded.
What good fortune, running into them! The Vagabond was smiling wide in the shadows of his hood as he turned his attention to the rest of the group. Due to the current 'fatigue' he was experiencing from infusing the horn fragment (now safely in one of the dozens of pockets of the large coat he wore), only one of the Darkside arms remained at his side. "Well—your henchmen certainly seem to get the job done!"
The Vagabond had immediately noticed how the gathering of Neo Shadows had lessened. Was this because of the odd fellow Fasilli had summoned—that Serious Steve? Walking over towards where the masked performer and Viorella stand, the hooded vagrant noticed the enchanter's eyes focused in a direction. "Has a particular 'star' caught your eye~?"
He followed with his hidden gaze, trying to discern what she was looking at.
