From the entrance of the gummi-ship that had just landed emerged a furry head. It blinked its large eyes golden in the bright sunlight. With wobbly steps it made its way onto the sand. However, as soon as its paws touched the sand it immediately fell on its butt. With shaking hands the cat thing better known as a Nay-Kobold stood once more. Then it did something any normal being would think was odd. It stared straight at the sun.
"I'll get you one day..." Tom thought as he gazed at his enemy that was high in the sky. The sun was the brightest shiny he had ever seen. Unfortunately, however, it was also the one that was furtherest away. A deep sigh emitted from his throat before he turned back to the ship. He had forgotten his sack! With swift steps he ran back and picked it up, all the while shifting his gaze back and forth. If someone had stolen it or if he lost it he didn't know what he would do. Not that he didn't trust his friend or her family. They all seemed like nice people. Even evil whatshername seemed interesting.
Speaking of which where did she go? Tom thought about this with all of his might in a doomed attempt to remember. Several moments later when one would think steam might come out of his ears his expression eased. All he needed was fish. They were brain food after all, or at least that was what he was always told. How else would the elders have gotten so smart if not by eating fish daily for all of their long lives?
"I'm going to go catch some fish. Want to come?" he yelled at his friend; knowing that she sure could catch some big ones.
Without waiting to hear her answer he began rummaging through his bag. From the perspective of another this would have looked quite amusing as his back half was almost propelled straight up into the air as his front half dove deeper into the large container. Finally he appeared with a small brown rod. After swiftly unfolding the rod it became a large fishing pole.
Tom then walked down the pier and sat in a boat, Bobbing up and down slightly on the waves he waited to see what Kat would do. This would be a fun day.
