(Note: Please at least have 3 medium length paragraphs in every post. Also, please: no 'heartless/nobodies' fights in this thread.)
What was he thinking? Surely, he could of used more common sense when he thought about his decision. There could of been a lot of reasons why Mattew did such a thing. It could been out of curiosity, or just plain idiotic reasons. Either way, The mute had a BIG challenge ahead of himself....
Before we continue, let's go back to where he made his regrettable decision...
Mattew started in the twisted, crazy world, known as Wonderland. A weird title to be given in this world. Anyway, Mattew was now getting ready to get out of Wonderland. He had already fought his way through heartless to reach the table, then climb it up. A very tiring effort, but it was worth it.
Mattew had drank up the often horrible potion that soon started to return him to his normal size. In mere seconds, he was sitting down on the table, in his normal height. Mattew breathed out a sigh of relief: He was sure glad that he was out of that confusing place. And he was relieved that he didn't have to bother with the queen and her 'cards' anymore.
The mute was about to walk out through that door, until some idea sparked in his head. He looked back at the table: more specifically, the 'shrink' potion. His curiosity brought him into this crazy idea: What if he could drink that potion and see everything else from a new 'perspective'. It was an idiotic idea to think of, but Mattew thought that it was a great idea in the beginning.
He walked back to the table again and quickly grabbed the 'shrink' potion. For a moment, the mute thought that he was doing a 'good' deed: He was preventing anyone from entering this confusing, crazy world. With a small smirk, he left Wonderland and landed back into Traverse Town.
Mattew had the potion stashed inside his pocket. He looked around like he was carrying something important. He constantly looked at the potion, to see if anything was wrong with it: so far, everything was normal. Oddly, the first district was a little bit busy than usual; Perhaps the heartless were still going after worlds. Mattew would of greeted those people, weren't for the 'secret' that he had in his pocket.
Deciding that it was too risky to even flash the potion in front of anyone here, Mattew had decided to go the Second District. Thankfully, everything was all quiet here: no people and no heartless. The mute shook his head in satisfaction. Before he did he drank it, Mattew took a small walk around the place. He ended up in the middle of the district, sitting down at a bench. The mute held the potion in front of him.
Without even thinking, Mattew threw caution into the wind as he gulped the potion down. Once again, the horrible taste started to take effect, as shown on Mattew's face. All of sudden, Mattew felt a tingling feeling inside him. Unlike Wonderland, The shrinking effect was taking a harder toll. Mattew's face began to turn pale as his eyes became glassy. He felt so nauseas. Moments later, Mattew had fainted. Shortly after he fainted, the shrinking process had begun....
Mattew had started to stir. He felt like his head had been hit with a club. He shook his head as he held his hand over his head. Mattew flinched a little bit as the pain continued. Who knew that different worlds had different effects when it came to these potions?
As Mattew started to get back into reality, he had realized that he was lying down next to a tall pillar. He looked up and up and saw that the pillar had a stopping point. Over the pillar, there was large, brownish objects that went into a pattern. Wait a minute....he was sitting down, last he remembered....so that meant....this was the bench that he was sitting on.
The mute had slightly gulped a little bit. He knew that he was going to shrink....but he had no idea how BIG everything would be. Even though he had begun to regret his choice.....Mattew couldn't help but feel....excited, about this. He was now shrunken. Now he could see everything from a new point of view.
He was about to walk, until he realized his disadvantages: Having being shrunken, it was impossible for him to go anywhere without taking time getting there. It probably would of taken him days, possibly even weeks, before he reached the first district. And another problem came about: He had no potion to bring him back to normal size. So basically: He was stuck like this, until he could find something or someone that could help him.
Now feeling a little bit disappointed....and somewhat scared, Mattew had decided to stay here in the bench. Surely, someone would come here. Hopefully, not heartless, but someone. Mattew shook his head as he sat down next to the 'pillar', waiting for someone to come by.

((That's good.^_^))
Mattew stared up to the sky, completely oblivious to his surroundings, trying to trace back his recent events. This problem couldn't have been this complicated, if only he had the other potion with him. Oh well: No point in looking back at the past now. He needed to focus his current situation, and how he was going to fix his problem. He had hoped that someone would just come here sooner or later.
What the mute didn't see was the animal that was stalking him now, which is kind of a surprise: It was a lot bigger than him. Surely, he could of seen it, if only he looked down to the ground. Unfortunately, he didn't: His attention were still in the clouds.
Something that he heard finally got his attention back. He heard a girl's voice, although he couldn't see her at first. Then, he saw her come up to his view. The first thing that Mattew looked at was the face. She had brown hair that was pulled back. Her eyes were the same as her hair; brown. She had on a coat that had very weird symbols on them: Mattew couldn't exactly see them, from this distance. The girl had pants that were zipped on the sides.
Being at this size, seeing her was....well....frightening, even if she was at a distance. At least, to Mattew. It made him wonder: Was he really the same size as he was in Wonderland? Maybe gulping that potion wasn't such a good idea either: He probably was smaller than he would of been, if he had just taken a sip of potion.
He continued to stare at the girl, until something was caught in the corner of his eye. It was a shadow that was in his sights. It rapidly grew in size: Too fast. The shadow of the figure soon engulfed him. Mattew was afraid to look what it was, but if he didn't look, then there was that slight chance....well, it was probably positive that he was going to die if he didn't react.
When Mattew looked over to where he saw the shadow, he saw a feline of sorts was leaping right at him. It even had a voice, saying 'gotcha'. Of course, at this size; It looked like a train was heading right at him. At that short moments, everything slowed down for Mattew. Even Mattew felt like he was going in slow motion.
If Mattew didn't experience this kind of fear, then he wouldn't believe that 'my life flashing before my eyes' ever. But of course, his own life was flashing in front of him: Like a movie being fast forward. The mute had a look of shock on his face as the cat got closer and closer to him.
Mattew needed to react quickly, if he was going to keep his life. Who knew that small animals like cats could be so dangerous at this size? It was no wonder why mouses were afraid of them. But now, Mattew started to move his body. He quickly got up from where he was sitting, then pulled one of his hands back. A small spark had started to form in between his hands.
That spark soon turn into a small ball of electricity. Mattew thrusted the sparks right at the cat. A bolt of lightening came from Mattew's hands, although it was only the size of a tooth pick. It probably felt like a static shock, at best, Mattew thought. None the less, he tried to attack the cat, which wasn't probably a good idea either. If he had provoked this cat, then he could be in a huge problem than he's already in.
After he had shot that bolt of lightening, Mattew quickly retreated to the other side of the 'pillars' Hopefully, it would provide some kind of cover from the cat's leap. Another hopeful thought came into Mattew mind: He had hoped that this girl would soon help him. He didn't care if she was good or evil: It was better than being chased around by an animal. He clasped his hands together, almost in a prayer, hopeing that something or someone could get him out of this situation.

Mattew awaited for a noise to be heard: It could be a noise from the cat or just a thud. Either one was good for him. The mute heard a thud, then he glanced back to see if he was able to hit the cat with his 'thunder bolt'. He had a shocked expression on his face. There was another cat here! Like the one that tried to attack him, the golden color cat also had the ability to speak, which Mattew was slightly jealous of. Here was two cats that could speak fluently, yet Mattew was the 'silent one'; Quite a role reversal, now that he thought about it. The smaller cat lost to the new comer, much to Mattew's relief. Thankfully, the bigger one didn't spot him...yet. Mattew went back hiding behind the bench support. His heart was beating out of fear. Perhaps shrinking in an area where there were so many people near-by, wasn't the brightest idea ever.....But it was a thrill for the mute. Mattew soon realized that the girl who had that golden cat with her, started to approach here. The closer she got, the more scared Mattew was. He was beginning to realize how small he was, compared to a normal size person. All he needed to do was keep calm and hopefully, the girl can help him.....if he wasn't afraid to ask, that is. The two cats exchanged words with the girl, and she soon picked up the cat that attempted to attack him. With that cat under control, Mattew felt a little calmer than before. She had asked the cat what he was doing, then the cat began to confess. Mattew's heart sank as he heard the conversation about a person shrinking. Now it was a guarantee that he was going to found. It was a good thing, but at the same time....Mattew didn't want to found. He was still traumatized with his new perspective. The conversation came to silence for some reason. Mattew had a puzzled look on his face as he wondered why did they stop. Then, he heard the girl giggle. The mute gulped as he started to shake a little bit. He soon saw another shadow engulf him, this time from above. He looked up, only to see two eyes looking down on him. He was too petrified to move, but his body was still shaking all over. Mattew felt a little bit comfortable when the girl apologized to him about the cat. She soon turn around and awaited for an actual apology from the cat, which Mattew learned was name 'Squall-Kitty'. After he apologized....twice, the mute's caution slightly dwindle....but he still felt too scared to even move a muscle, let alone ask for help. The girl had suddenly begun to laugh, which sort of confused Mattew. What she was laughing for? Then she began to talk to him again. She introduced herself as Aras Bangerc. Then she introduced her other cat, Kyle-Kitty. He didn't need an introduction for Squall-Kitty: He still felt too uncomfortable with that cat, even after the apology. Aras then asked for his name. Mattew had started to move his shaking arms, then he realized another problem: Now that he was smaller, how could he possibly 'spell' his words out, if they were smaller than a size of a pea? Mattew dropped his arms as he tried to figure out how to spell his name in his current height. At last, he had found an idea. Mattew raised his arms, then he started to spell out a letter. The letter was about the same size as him: Hopefully, Aras would be able to catch it. The letter 'M' formed, then it shortly died out. Mattew then began to spell out an 'A'. These letters soon formed a word. M.A.T.T.E.W Mattew was feeling a little bit exhausted after he tried to spell his name. He needed a better way to spell his words....otherwise, it's going to be hard to even communicate with Aras. (( That's alright.^_^ kind of did the same thing in this post. ))

As Aras repeated his name, Mattew nodded his head in confirmation. Then, she asked him if he couldn't speak aloud, which he was reluctant to say. If ONLY he could speak: Then he wouldn't need to spell his name out. He would of shouted until his lungs gave out, but he couldn't. This 'little' experiment had turn into a disaster.....still, Mattew would of probably do it again, if he was given another chance.
Mattew had a pondered look on his face as to why Aras was laughing to herself. He wouldn't hold that thought for long though: He soon saw the two cats approaching from behind. Of course, this made Mattew feel a bit....intimindated, as he took a step back. Thankfully, both cats stop before reaching closer to him. The one that tried to attack him was now resting on Aras shoulders, while the one was sitting on the bench.
Mattew glanced over to Kyle-Kitty as he began to ask him questions. He was relieved that it was simple questions: All he needed to do was give a simple nod of the head. The mute nodded his head to the first question. He gave another nod to the second question. It gave the impression to Mattew that this cat already knew he was a mute. However, that thought was shot down: The only reason Kyle Kitty was asking him these questions was because he over heard Aras: He probably had no knowledge that he was a mute.
Mattew looked back at Aras as she mentioned something. She had picked up a rather familiar bottle: Mattew eyes widened a little bit at the sight of it. He thought that....'big' potion was shattered after he shrunk. Guess it was harder than he thought.
Mattew scratched his head as she read the label 'drink me.' Yes, this was his doing: He caused this problem himself. It was mostly because of curiosity: He wanted to see things from....a new perspective. He didn't take the consequences into thought when he came up with the idea; You could say that he threw 'caution into the wind'.
The mute thought that he should tell them something about himself: The fact that he was a mute. He knew he was going to be aching after he spelled this, but it was worth it....he hoped. Hopefully, Aras was paying some attention to him, instead of focusing on the bottle. Mattew started to spell out letters again, still motioning his arms. He soon spelled out I A.M M.U.T.E
Like he predicted, his arms felt like dead weight after he spelled this. He tried to shake them, like what people usually do when their arms were in some pain. It was to no avail, though. He sighed a little bit as he dropped his arms to his side.

Mattew slightly tilted his head, kind of disappointed. His only way of communication became a whole lot harder when he was this size, and even if he did try, Aras probably wouldn't get the message clearly. That's what Mattew thought anyway, He looked up to Aras as she began to suggest an idea. She suggested that Kyle-Kitty would see what he spelled with his 'normal' communication, then the cat would say it right back at her. It was a good idea, Mattew thought. But then, that fear brought up back up again: He was afraid that this cat would 'leap' at him, like the younger one did. Even though it obeyed Aras without resistance....Mattew still couldn't shake off that fear yet. Mattew bit his lip a little as Aras asked him how he shrunk himself? He noticed that the two cats also looked at him, awaiting a response from him. This 'center of attention' was rather nerve wracking....He didn't really know what to say to them. Then, his answer became clear to him, as a look of 'discovery' came upon his face. He looked at the bench, where Aras had placed the bottle at. He pointed at the bottle with his arm fully extended to the bottle's direction. Mattew then started to spell something. This time, though, he only spelled with his fingers, not with his entire arm. Hopefully, the cat would catch it. He spelled out I T.O.O.K T.H.E B.O.T.T.L.E F.R.O.M W.O.N.D.E.R.L.A.N.D ((Don't worry about it: My post isn't that great, either. ))

Mattew looked over to Kyle-Kitty, who was laughing at him....wait, the cat could laugh? Mattew rolled his eyes a little bit as his eyes squinted a little bit. The fact that these two cats could talk was amazing; Now with a laughter coming from them, Mattew felt a little bit jealous. How much he wished he had a voice of his own. It would of probably helped him out during these...'small', troublesome times.
Mattew heard Aras talking, so he turned his attention back to her. Going back to Wonderland was an option, although Mattew didn't want to go there...not yet. He wanted to at least explore Traverse Town at this size: That was one of the reasons why Mattew shrunk himself.
Aras began to ask him if there was a way for him to return to normal size. In fact...there was. There was another potion there that could make Mattew grow to normal size. It wasn't even that hard to get the potion: It was right there on the table. Although....Mattew didn't want to mention any of that right now. He wanted to delay his 'normal' size, as crazy as it sound. Despite being afraid of objects much larger than him....Mattew's curiousity took over that fear. Having the 'grow' potion in his hands would be great to have, in case he ever got bored with being small, which he wasn't right now. Mattew shrugged a little bit, before spelling out
I D.O N.O.T K.N.O.W.
Then, another idea came to him. The old wizard that lived behind the flaming door in the Third District..... Surely, he had some potions that could fix this problem. If he didn't, then the wizard probably knew how to make a potion to fix this. Mattew started to spell something again.
T.H.E.R.E I.S A W.I.Z.A.R.D I.N T.H.E T.H.I.R.D D.I.S.T.R.I.C.T
He was stating this, so he could delay his trip to Wonderland, in case they didn't believe him. Beside, that old wizard had to know something that could fix this: After all, he was a wizard.

(Again, I'm REALLY sorry that I haven't replied here. oh, and Mattew is.....8'' *random small number* ) Mattew noticed that Kyle-Kitty and Aras gave each other 'the look'; It was that kind of look that gave the impression that they didn't believe him. At least, that is what he thought of it. A small, awkward silence came about, which was something that Mattew was uncomfortable with...which comes to a surprise, really. Despite being a mute, Mattew had always preferred to the voices of other people, whenever there was people around. If people weren't talking.....well, it would make Mattew feel bit...cautious, in a way. Just before he was about to confess that he really knew a way to unshrink himself, Aras brought up the question of 'what to do'. Mattew breathed a sigh of relief as he slightly dropped his head down. Once again, a moment of silence came about, which made the mute look up to see what was going on. When he looked up, he noticed that Aras had a smirk on her face while looking at Kyle-Kitty, which was followed up by another question. She asked the cat if it was alright to let Mattew ride on his back, which widened Mattew's eyes. Ride on the cat? Mattew already had a bad meeting with the other one, and he wasn't really sure if he could trust this one. So far, Kyle-Kitty had not attacked him, but Mattew felt like it was bound to happen sooner or later... However, at his current size, it was kind of impossible to get into the Third District. And since Mattew wasn't thinking.....straight, at the moment, the riding the cat option look like the only way to travel. Mattew nodded his head 'Yes', although he had some-what of a pondering look on his face. He didn't really know how to respond to it. Now, he waited for what Aras was going to do next.

Mattew vibrated his head a little as he slightly closed his eyes. The sound of Aras' normal voice was loud enough, but when she was asking 'really' out loud; It sounded like Mattew put a stero next to his ear on MAX. A very unpleasant thing to experience, but Mattew endured it, for it was only for a second or two. Mattew shook his head at Aras question, agreeing to ride on the cat's back.
When the mute saw the smaller cat jumping of Aras shoulders....he was feeling a bit cautious. Especially that he saw somthing like a weapon of sorts on his back. Mattew looked at Kyle-Kittty too, wondering if he would mind a small person on his back. From the sound of purring, it seem like Kyle-Kitty didn't mind it.
The mute looked back at Aras as she got up and already took some steps to the Third District, before stopping to look back at the three. Mattew looked back at the tabby cat, and noticed that he was crouching down for Mattew. The mute slightly hesitated at first, but when he was finally close enough, Mattew grabbed on to his collar and got on his back like a horse-rider would. The remark that the cat said made Mattew gulped: The bell around his neck could crush his hand, which was something that Mattew didn't want.
Well....nothing else to do now, except wait for Kyle-Kitty to move. Already, he started to look around the place like he was a tourist.

(Again, sorry that I haven't posted here for so long.-_-)
Mattew could already tell he might regret his decision as to ride on the cat's back. Especially now, when Kyle-Kitty was 'free-falling' from the bench to the ground. Mattew held on to the collar tightly, so that he would fly off. The impact of the landing shook up Mattew a little bit. His poor, little body was shaking all around from the sudden leap: He prayed in his mind that Kyle-Kitty wouldn't do anything like that again. His mind had started to make him drift off into 'dream-land', wondering how cats could jump from high to low places, and vice-versa, without being scared of it....
As he pondered about the thought, he slowly forgotten about the world around him. You could tell that he was in his own state of mind, as he had that look on his face that looked.....empty. Plus, his eyes were looking up to the sky, for no apparent reason.
Mattew snapped back when he heard his name being called out. He nodded his head as he looked down at Kyle-Kitty, then at Squall-Kitty, then at Aras. He wondered what they were talking about.....well, whatever it was, Mattew decided to agree with whatever they were saying. Mattew nodded his head in agreement.
He guessed that they were talking about the door to the Third District, after hearing Squall Kitty say something about the door. Mattew could guess as to why the door was smaller: It was because this side of the districts didn't connect to the main, or First District. That's why the other door in the Third District was also huge. However, it was a guess, that he came up with after years of living in this place.
As they entered into the Third District, Mattew slightly adjusted his body weight as he got tired of 'resting in one spot'. Mattew was never the one to stick to one spot: He was usually on the move, unless he was feeling sleepy. It was probably like that with most adventurers or travelers. At least, that's what the mute thought.
They were coming across to the 'flaming door' as Mattew liked to call it. It would only open by using fire magic, but the mute could never understand as to why someone would do that. Unless they wanted privacy, this door made it almost impossible to open.....that's what the purpose of this door was, now that Mattew thought about it.
Mattew looked up to Aras as she slightly bended down and asked them what to do next. Mattew quickly jerked his head back to Squall-Kitty, who blurted out with an idea. He was walking towards the door, which made Mattew pondering what the cat was going to do. Only to wait and see...
The mute's eyes widened from the sight of the Squall-Kitty's transformation. His mouth opened at the first sign of the transformation, and it only opened wider as the process continued. When Squall-Kitty was done with his transformation, Mattew's mouth was opened wide from the surprise; one of his eyes even twitched. He was afraid of him when he was just a cat: now that he was looking at, what Mattew guessed, was his 'true form', the mute was terrified.
Mattew realized that Aras was falling back and was signaling Kyle-Kitty to move back to. Mattew gulped a little bit as he started to wonder what Squall-Kitty was going to do.....or, from what Aras called him, Black lion. All that Mattew was heard was some words from Black Lion, and all of a sudden, he heard something like an explosion.
The sound literally blasted the mute's ears out. Mattew used both hands to cover his ears from the sound of it, his body slightly shivered from the loud noise. At this rate, Mattew was going to lose his hearing, which would of been worse for the mute, since......he's mute.
Once he felt like the noise had stopped, Mattew took his hands out of his ears. His ears were still ringing....but he felt like he could manage. Mattew looked at Squall-Kitty in directly, sort of afraid to look at him directly at his eyes: He was too terrified too. Mattew's eyes were supposedly be looking at Aras, which he was looking at right now. He nodded his head, confirming that he was alright to go.

Mattew looked down at Kyle-Kitty as he mentioned about his summoning form. If he was taller than Aras was in his summoning form....The thought of it made him gulped. He hoped that he would never have to see Kyle's summoning form: At least, not in this size. The mute would of probably fainted if he did. Mattew looked up to Aras when she apologized to him. He was still shaking his head and picking his ears from the sudden burst of noise. It was so loud: much louder than anything he heard of before when he was at his normal height. Maybe it was because he was small, that his hearing was a bit more sensitive. His hearing was still a bit deaf, but he was able to hear things slowly, like the golden water fountain near by. Much to his relief, Mattew didn't go 'deaf'. He noticed that Kyle-Kitty was moving again. He gripped the collar a bit tighter, as he had let go of the collar before Kyle was walking again. Mattew looked up to the door way, and the sight of it made him shrivered. At normal size, it probably would of been nothing passing through this door. At this size, however: It looked like he was about to enter into a black hole. Mattew knew....well, more of hoped really, that there wasn't any heartless here. As they entered through the small door, they were shown a darkened area. Like Aras, Mattew had to wait for a little while before his eyes got adjusted to the darkness. When his eyes were finally adjusted, all he could see was a house on the other side of the area. However....another glance at this place, and Mattew realized that this place was a lot...bigger, than he imagined. He thought that even in his normal size, this place would of been huge. It was amazing that this place existed in Traverse Town....yet, barely any, if none at all, people knew how to get into here. Mattew heard Aras groaned about something, so he looked ahead again. He realized that there were boulders there. Not only that....they appeared to be moving. The mute's eyes widened at the sight of it. That was a sight you never see everyday....not in Traverse Town anyway. He heard Kyle-Kitty sighing about something as well, so the mute looked back down at Kyle-Kitty. His eyes widened again at the news that Kyle-Kitty gave him.....well, more of a warning, than actual news. He was going to change into his summoning form. Mattew held on to the collar even more, even before the warning that Kyle gave him to hold on. He was already scared at the sight of Squall's transformation: Kyle's transformation was probably going to frightened him even more. Mattew noticed that a white light was surrounding them, but it wasn't bright enough for him to be blinded by it. The mute looked around in panic as he awaited to see Kyle's transformation to start. He realized that a pair of wings started to grow from Kyle's back, and he noticed that Kyle has also started to grow. At last, Kyle's transformation was done. Mattew was completely shaking; from head to toe. He slightly looked down to see how 'high' he was. That was a huge mistake, as he saw that falling from this height would be the last fall he would make. Of course, this only made him more scared that he was now...He thought that the worse was over with. But, as it will turned out, Mattew would still go through a lot of obstacales before going back into relaxation. Another warning came from Kyle-Kitty....if that is what was his name at this point, anyway. He said that he was going to fly, which would of made Mattew scream until his lungs gave out: However, seeing that he was a mute, there was very few things he could do to stop it. Mattew held on to dear life as Kyle-Kitty lifted off. Mattew's heart beated so fast: It felt like it was out of rhytem at this point. When they landed, Mattew was completely shaking. However, his face didn't show any emotion: It was only a blank look on his face and a couple of blinks. Mattew could tell that Kyle-Kitty was changing back to his 'cat' form, as Mattew thought to call it at this point. His head still shook as he slowly looked up to Aras when she asked him if he was okay. All the mute could do was nod his head in agreement...... Before fainting, anyway. Mattew slightly made his head go around in circles, before rolling his eyes up and closing them. His tight grip on Kyle-Kitty's collar was let loose as he fell off from his back. Heights didn't sit too well for Mattew: especially at this size. His heart was still beating fast, but it was beginning to 'cool down' as he rested. Hopefully, he would wake up soon to hear what Merlin had to say. (Nah: I'll let you play as Merlin. I can't think of any dialouge for him. Don't worry: I'll wake up Mattew by my next post.^_^ )

(alright, I'll try my best to post. Sorry if I ramble.^_^ The mute could hear a noise as he fell unconsienous. It was a very faint noise; almost sounded like a voice. However, Mattew was too over-come with shock to exactly bother with that. Now, he was completely knock-out, unaware of his surroundings. Amazingly, he was able to 'dream' in a matter of seconds.... In his dream, he was in Traverse town setting. He was in his normal height, and just wandered about the three districts. Everything looked perfectly normal: There wasn't anything here that wasn't in Traverse Town. It was like a self-image of the world.
As he walked, he could feel his feet shaking. Mattew stopped walking as he had a confused look on his face. He first looked down at his feet, to see if anything was wrong: Nothing seem out of the ordinary. Mattew thought about it for a second, before shrugging it off and continued to walk.
However, the shaking came back: this time, it was more frequent and it was getting stronger. At this point, Mattew started to look around the Second District, almost in a panic. The mute could pretty much tell that whatever he found: It wasn't going to be pleasant at all....well, it was more on instinct, more than anything.
Mattew realized that people were running from the First District. They were going pretty quick too: A couple of them trip over themselves, while others knocked each other to get a 'clear area'. The mute had a surprised, yet dumb-founded look as he saw the people coming towards him. Well, since they were running, he might as well join them, right?
He went with the flow as Mattew 'took lead' of the people, although he didn't have a clue what he was running from, or where he was running to. One of his thoughts would soon be answered as the shaking grew more violent, and then it suddenly stopped. The people, including the mute, paused from their running.
The next thing that Mattew knew, he was looking right at these giant nail like things. Beyond that, there was something that looked like a paw. As Mattew looked up higher and higher, he saw a leg, then a body, then he spotted the other three legs. The figure was completely black too: It blended in with the dark sky, with the exception of the stars.
The poor mute was so shocked to see the sight, that he had no idea that the other people had 'left' him. He looked back to take a glance, then he whip-lashed his neck, as he realized what the people had exactly done. He quickly turned his head to the giant figure, and noticed that it started to lift its paw up.
Mattew was completely petrified: He couldn't move an inch. However, the paw was starting to come down, and Mattew was right in its 'line of fire'. The mute had an late reaction, by the time the paw was half-way down to the ground. The last thing he could see was a couple of claws, and a blackened paw coming at his face....With the sudden terror in his dream, Mattew had suddenly woken up. It wasn't one of those 'tired' wake-ups either: He quickly sat up straight, with his eyes widely opened. Mattew held on to his heart as it was beating so fast, that it felt like it skipped a beat every second. Mattew looked around, then felt around his upper body, to see if there were any injuries on him. The dream felt so real: He thought that he would be squashed, at the very least. However, Mattew turned out to be...fine. There wasn't anything really wrong with him. He breathed a sigh of relief, but he then noticed something...different, with the area. For starters, he was wearing something on top that didn't even belong to him: It was a long, black coat. Mattew looked at it confused, but then he looked around again, with a sense of sanity, and realized that he wasn't on Kyle-Kitty's back anymore.....he was on Aras' palms. Mattew eye's widened with the new discovery as he curled his legs back to his body. His arms were in front of his legs, to lock it in place. He was sort of....afraid of Aras, even though he had no 'real' reason to be. you can say that it was mostly because of the dream that he had just now. Mattew tried to calm his nerves as he looked around the place. They were still in the carve area, which was good: It meant that he wasn't out for a long time. In the corner of his eye, Mattew spotted Squall-Kitty, without his coat. Mattew could easily make the connection to the coat he had now and Squall-Kitty, but he was far too busy with the 'thought' that he had just now. Mattew took his head a little bit back as he gulped. Mattew looked up to Aras as he spelled out, without even remembering that he needed Kyle-Kitty as a translator W.H.A.T H.A.P.P.E.N.E.D T.O M.E? Mattew looked around again, now figuring out that Kyle-Kitty was gone. The mute then spelled out, with his head looking around a bit before facing Aras: W.H.E.R.E I.S K.Y.L.E K.I.T.T.Y?

Mattew looked back at Squall Kitty when he heard something from him. Looking at the cat now.....it made the mute shriver a little bit. He was still afraid of his dream, and looking at Squall-Kitty only reminded him of that. However, the mute nodded his head at Squall's statement....Although, he couldn't really remember the events that happened to him in the last minutes or so. Apparently, he was knocked out after Squall's brother had transformed again.
The mute looked up at Aras face as she apologized to him about Kyle-Kitty's transformation. He wished he could say that it wasn't a big deal....The only thing that Mattew could do was nod his head, trying to indicate that it was alright. Mattew noticed that he falling back down to the ground by Aras hand. This wouldn't be a problem....weren't for Squall Kitty jumping almost right beside him. Mattew slightly leaned his body to the opposite side of where Squall Kitty was, with his eyes looking indirectly at him.
At least Squall-Kitty was answering his questions. Squall told the mute that his brother went out to explore the place. Mattew looked back, only to see a place that appeared to be something like a rotten, abandoned castle. However, it was only a mere house in his normal size. Still, Mattew was a bit awe-struck at the sight of it. He wondered how Kyle and Squall could manage to keep a 'sane mind', knowing that almost anything was bigger than them.....well, when they were in the cat forms anyway...
The room was completely empty, except for the platform in the middle of room and all of its dust. At least, for a short while....
All of a sudden, random home objects, such as chairs and brooms have randomly appeared. And it appeared that they had a mind of their own, as the objects started to move around. More and more objects started to appear, such as stacked up books, and a table with a lit-up candle. The candle completely lit up the entire room, giving it 'life' again.
After this whole ordeal was finally finished, one last 'object' appeared. Although, this object had an...unique entrance. Smoke, with certain colors and shapes, had greeted this object. But, as it would turn out, it wasn't an object at all. It was an old man, with a long, gray beard. He had a thin, stick like baton in his hands, and his attire was completely composed of a blue color. It was Merlin...
Merlin adjusted his glasses a little bit as he looked around the room. With a look of what appeared to be 'sactisfaction', Merlin slightly nodded his head as he said, "Very good....everything is exactly how I left it...." The old wizard simply chuckled at his own words. He looked at the table, and noticed that something was...off with this scenery. "Oh?....What's this?..." The wizard asked himself. He simply brushed the cloth up, and saw that it was a cat. It didn't appear to be a stray cat either. "Oh my....How did a cat like you get in here? I thought I sealed the door tight..."

The old wizard wasn't shocked to see the tabby-colored cat talk. He simply blinked his eys, and adjusted his glasses once more. When the cat hissed at him, he made a small grunt as he said, "Well...I haven't seen something like a talking cat for a while...."
However, Merlin couldn't stay made for that long, as he smiled at the cat, covered by the grey beard that he had. Merlin nodded his head as he said, "Yes, I know about that hole....This house is old...which is why I picked it..." He shook his head as he waved his hands, side to side. He then said, "Oh, that's quite alright."
The wizard had a pondering look on his face as the cat was beginning to ask him a question. However, as soon as he mentioned his name, the old wizard smiled at the cat. "My my, I never knew I so famous..." Merlin said with yet another chuckle. He said then said, "Yes, I'm Merlin. And I'm guessing that you have some buisness with me? It's not too often that I have guests here...."
Mattew felt like he was 'far away' from the cat as much as he possibly could. However, that would soon changed. Mattew started to shriver again as Squall Kitty got closer to him. However, he didn't really expect what the kitten was going to do next: He was actually....purring at him. Of course, Mattew was still afraid, but hearing this sort of...calmed his nerves. The mute didn't dare 'pet' him, though: He was still too afraid.
Then, Mattew realized that Aras was going down to by eye-level with both him and Squall Kitty. She wasn't really focusing on them, so Mattew had the chance to run...but oddly, he didn't. He stayed put, despite being so nervous. When Aras did look at them directly, Mattew's back sort of straightened up.
At this point, the mute felt a bid...aweful, for his actions. It was true though: He was afraid of both Squall and Kyle Kitty. Yet...it wasn't exactly 'them' that he was afraid of...although, after seeing them in the 'other' form, he might of have doubt about that statement...
It was because of his 'nightmare' that he had recently. After experiencing that, Mattew was a bit more jumpy around the two cats. Even though Mattew wanted to forgive Squall-Kitty....he couldn't. Not fully, anyway. The mute nodded his head in agreement, although he wasn't completely telling the truth with what he said next.
He looked over to Squall-Kitty and started to spell out
I A.M S.O.R.R.Y
He tried to spell something else, until something caught in the corner of his eyes. He looked over to where the house was, and realized that the house was lit up. Weird...it wasn't lit up, last he remembered. This was sort of a 'salvation' for the mute, as he was about to change the subject now. Mattew pointed at the window, trying to let Squall and Aras see it too.

Merlin felt the edges of his gray beard and nodded his head as the cat explained the situation to him. He was a bit....intruiged, with what happened to this boy named Mattew: It was one of those rare cases that he hadn't heard of for a long time. He had hoped that it would push his mind to a bit of a test. He felt like it has been so long since he had an actual 'magic challenge'.
Merlin nodded his head as he lifted his hand to one side of the room, and a book had suddenly appeared in his hands. Merlin opened the book, and moved his hand away from it: The book was still 'floating' as Merlin said to the tabby-colored cat, "Well then, tell that young chap to come over right away. I think I might just have the cure for him...." Merlin then went back to studying his books as he tried to look for something to fix this problem...
Mattew was a bit surprised with Squall Kitty's sudden reaction. It was amazing what a few 'words' could do to a person....or a cat, in this case. The mute was relieved that Squall-Kitty had believed him. When the cat came closer again and started to purr, Mattew felt a little bit shocked. He wanted to move away from Squall-Kitty.... But for some reason, something was holding him back. Maybe it was guilt: After what he had said to him, Mattew thought it would be disrepectful to suddenly turn back the way he was before.
Either way, Mattew had to deal with it for a couple of seconds, until he had pointed out the window. Both Aras and Squall-Kitty seem to have reacted by it, as Squall stopped purring next to him, and Aras had started to get up. Mattew looked at both of them as they started to move into the house. Aras was already leaving them behind, leaving both the mute and the cat behind.
Mattew looked over to Squall-Kitty as he said that they should come along. The mute sort of gulped: It wasn't because he was afraid. It was more of that gulp that people took before they got into a big stage. You could say it was out of being 'nervous'. Mattew smiled the best he could, and hopefully it would work.
The mute got up and nodded his head at Squall Kitty, he soon followed Aras foot-steps, and was about to enter the Wizard's old home....

(0_o Your post is great, lost.^_^ And don't worry about it.)
Merlin looked at the entrance of his old house and saw a girl, popping her head out. He nodded his head a little bit as the girl talked with Kyle-Kitty. The old wizard could only smile as he said to her, "Oh, that's quite alright. It's been a while since I've had guest in here. Please, make yourself comfortable...." Merlin held his free hand in mid-air, and then a cup of tea had appeared in his hands. The wizard took a short sip of it, with a refreshing breath.
Merlin looked down at the two cats as they squabbled with each other. He nodded his head at Aras apology, 'saying' once again it was alright with him. He laughed a little bit, as he looked over to Aras and said, "I suppose this little one is the same one that has been traveling with you and.......where's the small boy at?" Merlin looked down at Aras' feet, his body slightly leaning over to get a better look.
The old wizard adjusted his glasses as he tried to focus them. Sure enough, he saw the small person, standing near by. Merlin was a bit surprised to see a person this small. "Oh my...." Merlin said as he adjusted his glasses once more. Merlin answered Aras question without looking at her. "From what your cat has told me, I would say yes. And for proper introduction, I'm Merlin.....Now then..."
The wizard pulled himself back, but still kept his gaze at the mute...
Mattew felt so nervous. He was now looking up at another person, but it wasn't just a person. Merlin was supposedly a great wizard with magic like no other....at least, that's what Mattew heard from rumors and 'lips' from other people. As Mattew walked in the house further, he felt a sudden rush crawl up in his spine. It made him jump a bit, but then he realized that he was floating in mid-air.
The mute panicked a little bit, but when he looked up at Merlin, he had realized that he was signaling his hands once more, and he probably did his magic on him. The mute soon felt the rush of wind as the invisible transporter took him closer to Merlin's face.
Merlin inspected the mute with his hand running through his chin. The old wizard realized the fear coming from the boy: It was obvious to him, considering that Mattew was shrivering all over the place, and had kept his distance as much as he could. Merlin shook his head as he said, "I must say......this is a unique position you have gotten yourself into....Mattew, was it?...."
The wizard awaited for Mattew's response, but nothing came from him. Merlin looked over to Aras, and said, "What happened to this poor lad?.....from what I've heard, he's only been this size for a short while, yet he's more afraid than anything I've ever seen..."
