The door that connected the First District to the Second District was slowly opening. At first, nothing seem like it was going to come out of it. But surely, a small head popped out. He had black hair that extended far down his shoulders. His eyes were a similar color to his hair: It was a grayish color. A face of hesitation was on the small boy's face. He didn't really know if he should do this....it was kind of nerve wracking.
At last, Takato had found that small courage to meet new people. His day started like any other normal day, but as time passed by, and spending most of his time wandering about the Second and Third Districts, he decided to finally meet someone. He didn't know why it had to be this day: You guess you could say that it was one of those random days where people made 'life-changing' decisions for no reason.
Takato slightly opened the door more, but only for enough to fit his body through. Even though he made a promise that he was going to find someone to talk with.....it wasn't going to be easy. He still had that abnormal shyness towards people, no matter how they acted to him.
With his body now fully inside the First District, Takato turned around and closed the door behind him. He didn't want to risk using his 'special ability' in public: Takato thought that he could only use it whenever no one was around. He gently closed the door behind him, then he looked to the front again. He gave out a sigh as he thought to himself, 'Alright....I hope I can get this right....'
Takato started to walk down to the center of the First District, although it was a rather slow pace. His eyes were adverted to the side, obviously still hesitating with his choice. However, he consider it far too late to turn back now: He was already in the First District. He might as well continue with his choice. He kept his head slightly down, occasionally looking in front of his direction from time to time.

As Takato turned around the corner, he noticed that someone else was coming here. She was girl: she appeared to have a black top and tan pants for her outer attire. She wasn't that tall, as far as Takato knew: He stood about 4'9'', plus he was guessing from a distance, so Takato couldn't make a real good guess on her height. Finally, she had black hair that had was about mid-length, and had golden eyes.....That was what Takato could see, at his distance.
Of course, Takato froze from the sudden sight of a person coming. He wasn't expecting to bump into someone so quick: He sort of wished that he stayed in the Second or Third District now. However, with a person standing in front of him, along with promising himself to meet new people, he had little choice but to introduce himself to her.
Takato started to walk again, his sights now set on the girl. He took small steps, occasionally bringing his arm half-way up to wave at her, but usually stopping himself. He was still far too bashful to actually interact with someone. Takato bit his lips a little bit as he let out a very, tiny smile with a hint of red on his cheeks. He brought his arm up to finally wave 'hi' to the girl as he said, "Ummmm......Hi there....." Takato paused for a moment, wondering what he should do next. Well, for starters, he wanted to introduce himself, as well ask the girl's name. He said, "......I'm Takato. And you?"

Takato nodded his head as he mumbled, "Yoka..." to himself, to remember her name. Everything was going good so far....but he wondered to himself: How long was he going to keep this up, before he blew it? With his poor sense of communication, Takato thought it wouldn't be long before he said something wrong.
He slightly tilted his head up to see Yoka's face as she asked him a question. She asked him if he was from this world. Takato shook his head as he said, "N-no....I am from another world...." Although he had spent most of his life time in Traverse Town, Takato still remembered where he came from. It was far different from this world, and it had people that Takato could relate to. There were people there that had 'powers' like his, which he never showed to anyone..yet.
Takato asked Yoka, "Umm....Are you new here? What are...you doing in Traverse Town?" Takato knew he sounded a bit....straight-forward, for his personality, but he was just curious. Meeting anyone in this world was interesting for Takato; it was even better if a person was from another world. That's what Takato thought of it, anyway.

Takato wished he could answer Yoka's question properly. Unfortunately, he couldn't. He had so many memories of his old world, except one: He had no idea the name of it. Takato simply blushed out of embarrassment as he said, with a sort of mumble tone, "I don't know the name of it...." Takato was sort of ashamed that he couldn't remember the name of his own world; He thought that if he could only remember one thing, it would be the name of his world.
Takato listened to Yoka's reason as to why she was here. His eyes sort of widen a little: Fighting heartless....just for training? Takato had a hard time fighting the heartless now; Seeing someone else fight them just for the heck of it made Takato feel a bit...intermindated. He moved his eyes the side as he slightly looked down. Once again, he was embarrassed that something like the heartless, which he had a hard time with, could be 'target practice' for another.
Takato looked up back at Yoka as she asked him how he is. Takato blushed a very faint red: It was a pretty random question to ask. He stuttered a little bit, still off-guard from the question. Takato said, "I...I'm....Third-teen...." He thought that it was sort of...weird, to meet someone just a year older than him. Then again, he rarely met anyone. Takato then went back to the heartless subject. He asked, "Why are you training with the heartless?"

Takato was surprise to know that Yoka didn't know the name of her world either. Well, at least Takato knew now that they had one thing in common: Both of them didn't know the name of their worlds. However, unlike Yoka, Takato couldn't really relate his world as a 'home'. Traverse Town seem like his home now, since he lived here for so long: longer than he did in his world.
Takato nodded his head as Yoka began to explain that she trained 'against' heartless. Takato couldn't understand the difference between the weaker ones: To him, all the heartless were strong. Takato only learned simply magic to defend himself in case a heartless decided to attack him: he never used it to actually fight them.
He had a ponder look on his face as Yoka said that she wanted to save the world from them: he couldn't understand why a person would go through all the trouble. Takato usually preferred a simple life, where you don't have to worry about heartless or any other problems: If only he lived in that kind of world, though...
Takato said, "Well....I'm sure you'll beat them for good one day...." He wanted to be positive with Yoka. Takato was filled with questions, it seems, as he asked her another question. He asked, "Ummmmm....Do you want me to...show you around Traverse Town?" He stepped back a little bit, in a modest way, awaiting her answer. It wasn't like him to ask somone if they wanted a tour around the world....

Takato felt a bit...happy, that Yoka accepted his offer. He thought that she would decline, after the way he was acting....but it was probably his imagination that thought of it. Since this was first time talking to someone without leaving at the first minute, he was expecting to screw up. However, that thought began to dwindle when Yoka accepted his tour. Takato chuckled a little bit at Yoka's remark to her map. He said, "It's....not any trouble at all...."
The lightened mood soon changed into a serious one. Yoka wanted revenge against the heartless because they destroyed her world. Takato slightly put his head down as he thought about to his world. Like Yoka, Takato's world was destroyed by the heartless. However....he gave up the thought of revenge. With no gummi ship, or any other way to travel, you could say that Takato was 'bound' to this world.
A silence came over them again, which made Takato feel uncomfortable. His attention came back to Yoka as she apologized for what she said. Takato shook his head as he said, "You don't have to apologize...." With nothing to say about the subject, Takato decided to go back with the tour.
He smiled at Yoka slightly as he said, "I'll....take you the Second District first....ummmm....please follow me..." He signaled her to follow as Takato turned around and started to head back the Second District. Weird; He came into the first district to meet someone, and now he was giving to give Yoka a tour around the world. Amazing what could happen in a matter of minutes...

Takato nodded his head again as he lead the way to the second district. This was new to him: This was the first time that he actually 'lead' someone else. He felt almost like a leader, in a way. It was a weird, nice feeling for him. Best of all, he knew where he was going. He has been in Traverse Town for so long: He knew almost every twist and turn in the other two districts.
He looked back at Yoka when she asked him if he was alone in this world. His face turned into a small sadness, and it was only worse when she asked him more personal questions. Takato was indeed alone in this world....well, he thought he was anyone. He didn't travel much in his old world, so he wouldn't know if someone is from his world or not. The only way he could tell is that if they show off their 'powers'. Other than that, Takato wouldn't have a clue.
As much as he wanted to look for anyone from his world....he couldn't. He didn't have any way to get to other worlds. He was too poor to buy a gummi ship, and he didn't know 'teleporting' powers: Takato was basically stuck here, unless he could find someone that was willing to lend him a gummi ship, or if he could find a way to teleport, which he doubted.
After a long pause of silence, Takato answered Yoka. "Yes.....I'm alone in this world....." Takato said. Another pause came after it, but he soon added, "And I can't go out looking for them because....I don't have any way to get to other worlds....." They were now in front of the second district door, which Takato opened. He opened it wide enough for both of them to fit through, but Takato still held the door by the handle as he said, with a smile, "Please, go in first...."

Takato nodded his head as he said, "You...don't have to be sorry..." It wasn't Yoka's fault that he was separated from his world. It was the heartless fault...but what could do to get revenge on them? The worse that he could do is 'destroy' the heartless in the other two districts, but they usually came back, so there was no real point in doing that. And since he couldn't travel: He couldn't just find the source of the heartless and 'kill it'.
Takato nodded his head as he let out a small mumble. He mumbled, "Yes....." to Yoka's question. If only he could travel....he would of been out of this lively world to travel in other worlds; deserted or crowded. It didn't really matter to him: Takato just wanted to see some other world. His shyness wouldn't stop him for traveling to other places: at least, that is what he thought.
Takato smiled at her again as he said, "Your welcome..." It was nice to be praised for something simple such as opening a door for someone. Well, it was nice for him, since he rarely got praised before. Takato let go of the door and walked into the Second District with Yoka. The door slowly closed behind him as he said, "ummm...that's a hotel over there, if you want to rest...." Takato pointed to the hotel as he explained what it was. He signaled for Yoka to follow as he started to walk to the left side, where the hotel was at.

Takato went silent after Yoka said that she didn't need to rest. He was just putting it out there for a simple suggestion.....they didn't need to rest in the hotel now. Takato didn't even had munny to sleep in the hotel: He usually had to sleep in the back alley of it, which he cleaned up over time.
Takato listened to Yoka as she began to explain to him the ways to get a gummi ship. He was sort of surprise to hear that heartless dropped munny, simply by defeating them. Maybe he should fight heartless soon...The quicker he got the munny for his gummi ship, the better. Takato already knew about the guy who worked on gummi ship. He has heard of him before, although Takato didn't know his name. The only thing he knew was that his name started with a 'C'.
Takato looked around the Second District for a little bit, before his attention turned to the gizmo shop. Shortly after he looked at it, Yoka asked him what it was. He glanced at Yoka, before looking back at the shop. He soon explained, "That's the gizmo shop.......I think it controls the electricity for the whole city...." Takato smiled a little bit, before turning back at Yoka and saying, "Umm...There's something really nice on the roof-top....Do you...want to see it?" He was still walking, passing by the first door of the hotel by now.

(*shrugs* I guess it's safe to say that Traverse Town only stays in night.....in the rp, anyway. ) Takato smiled a little bit more at Yoka's answer. He was going to see an old sight that he loved so much: It was far better than looking up on ground. Very few people knew about it: probably the locals, like him, only knew about this spot. He didn't really mind showing Yoka the spot, though: He already had trust in her to show this area. He was about to open the door to the gizmo shop, until a question from Yoka sparked his curiousity. He looked back at her, with a pondering look on his face. He had to admit: he has never seen a day of light in this world, despite living here for more than 7 years. He really couldn't understand how it was possible to have night time forever....but he actually prefer the night-life. After all, Traverse Town had a sight above that could only be seen at night, and it probably attracted a lot of people into it. Takato shrugged a little bit as he said, "It is always night time here......but....I like it...." He smiled modestly at Yoka again, as he turned around and opened the door to the gizmo shop. Like in the Second District door, Takato didn't go inside the shop first: Instead, he kept the door open, waiting for Yoka to come in. He gave her a small signal to step inside.

(That's okay^_^)
Takato simply smiled at Yoka modestly as he nodded his head. He looked around the second district, before entering into the gizmo shop with her. The place wasn't much...at least in Takato's mind. He has already been here so many times: All these gears and clocks weren't that really impressive to him. The room was a bit brighter than most of the Traverse Town's appearance. The room was a bright yellow color and it had all these other bright colors to go along with it.
Takato looked up to the ceiling, although his thoughts were thinking of the sky more. This small path-way lead to an area where Takato could stare at for hours at a time. However, Takato wanted to keep it a small secret...for now, anyway. He rather wait for Yoka to see it for herself, instead of blurting it out.
He looked over to Yoka when she asked him a question. She had asked him if the stars were actually worlds.....something that Takato always thought of. He did remember seeing a lot of stars in his world....but it was only a speck of numbers, compared to Traverse Town's stars. It was possible that half, if not more, of those stars were worlds. Takato nodded his head as he answered Yoka's question. "I think some of them are worlds....." He said.
His face turned into confusion as Yoka said that she didn't ride gummi ships. If she didn't get her by gummi ship, then how exactly did she get here? Takato was unfamiliar with 'teleporting', so Yoka's laughter confused him even more. He slightly mumbled, "....What do you...mean by that?...." He continued to walk, kind of anxious to get to the roof-top of this place.

Takato still couldn't quite understand what Yoka meant.....almost anything out of this world confused him. He surely wouldn't understand the meaning of 'teleporting', considering he has never done it, let alone seen someone else do it. However....he guess he could make another connection with Yoka now. She had...well, at least in Takato's mind, a very unqiue gift, much like him. Although, he didn't want to admit that he had a 'gift'.
Takato was now in lead of them, and he opened the door that lead to the area. Just a litte bit more....all they needed to do was climb up the ladder after this. This time, Takato didn't hold the door for Yoka: The door slowly closed by itself. Surely, Yoka could make it through without him holding it for her.
He was also too anxious to hold the door. Now they were closer to the area, Takato couldn't wait to see it. A small smile formed on his lips at the thought of the sight. He looked back at Yoka, now showing a bit brighter personality. His smile grew very faint as he said, "Come on...we're almost there..." Takato then started to climb up the stairs. Who know that a small person could have so much energy?

Takato continued to climb up the ladder, sometimes looking up or to the side: He never looked down. It wasn't that he was afraid of heights....well, maybe he was, but it was only a little. He has mostly gotten over his fear of heights after coming here so many times. Besides, it was because the height of this area that made this spot so...special, to Takato.
At last, Takato reached to the roof-top of the building. Nothing much was on the roof-top, which was to be expected. For some reason, there were a couple of large crates scattered through-out the place. There was a small opening in the inner part of the roof, which was actually the path to the bell. The bell was automatically rung, considering it was working on electricity....Although, there was a long, string of rope hanging around it. When Takato reached up to the top, his small smile grew even wider. The sight of the sky was incrediable. There was no lights up here, nor was there any buildings covering up the sky: Anyone could see the whole sky right in front of them at this height. Takato started to walk towards the center of the roof-top, which had a crate. Takato looked back at Yoka and said to her, "I usually....come to this place whenever I want to pass time...." His smile was still on face, even after saying that.

Takato smiled even more when she complimented him about the area. He was sort of proud about this place: It was the only area, as far as he knew, most people didn't come up to. Most people had spent their time in the First District, since there were so many people to see there. However, in the Second and Third Districts, they held sights that were....not well known, but beautiful, not the less.
With the smile still on his face, Takato said, "Your welcome....." Takato looked up to the sky, like Yoka did. After staring at it for a little while, Takato looked back to Yoka, and decided to ask her a question. The smile on his face disappeared as he thought of the question: He thought that distained him for asking this.
Takato said, " Yoka.......how was your old world like?.......I'm curious...."

Takato sort of felt bad for Yoka as she describe her world. Unlike Yoka, Takato lived in a world where the sun had always shined down. Sure, there were clouds at times, but for the most part, it was always sunny. The way that Yoka describe her world....it was depressing, like she said it was.
He was sort of surprise to hear that they had a different time. Although Takato couldn't catch most of them, he could understand the basic concept of it. Takato never worried about time in his old world: There was no need to. He lived a 'free-life' you could say, to do whatever he liked to do. Of course, he only lived his world for a short time...
Besides the time thing, Takato's world had the same customs as Yoka had. It was kind of amazing that everyone had followed the same morals, even though they lived light years away from each other. Takato looked at Yoka, who had her eyes closed. He could guess that she was thinking about her world. He sort of jumped when she looked right at him. She darted the same question back at him, which was going to be hard to describe. That would mean that he had to tell her about his 'power'....well...
He hoped that he could trust Yoka enough to let her know. Takato sighed a little bit, as he prepared to answer her question. "My world...." Takato started. "I guess my world was normal...The sun was always up. There was any rain, but we had plenty of water to exist on our own...."
"In my world....there was no war. No one never wanted to start one: everyone in my world thought that the world was perfect....until the heartless came...." Takato took a pause; not because of the heartless information, but because he was about to describe himself.
"....There was two kind of...people. Humans and......Demons. In my world....being a 'demon' meant that you were born with a 'power', which was unique to your own family.....like me...." Takato silenced himself, as he looked at Yoka, to see her reaction. In his mind, he thought that she would consider him a freak.

Takato nodded his head 'yes' to Yoka's question. The way she put it...it sounded like an offense. However, Takato never thought of it as 'offensive': It was just a name that he was given because he had unique abilities. And it wasn't like he was treated aweful because he was a 'demon'.....well, except for one time, in this world. Other than that.....no one seem to care about his powers: Mostly because he never showed, or even admit, having them.
Takato shook his head in disagreement at Yoka's next comment. " It's just a name....I never took offenise to it....." Takato mumbled. He was sort of surprised that Yoka was siding with him. He surely thought that she would say something negative about him. However...she didn't. Maybe it was because of Takato's low self e-steem, as well his lack of communication with people, that he came up with irrational conclusions. Perhaps he needed to trust people more than he was giving credit for....
Takato said, "My power......well......promise that you won't freak out by it..." Takato still couldn't quite trust people seeing his ability: even Yoka. The last time he used it, he got nothing but negative comments. Since then, he hasn't showed it in front of a person, which was almost 7 years ago. He just hoped that his trust in Yoka wouldn't be broken just because of this little thing.

Takato heard Yoka laugh, which made him feel a little bit more comfortable to show his ability: At least she was in a good sport about it. Even with the promise.....Takato was still hesitant to show it. He looked up to the sky, wondering if he was going to regret this soon. It wasn't like him to take a risk, especially one like this....however, he has already bonded with Yoka. Besides, he already told her about it, so there was no point in hiding it anymore.
With a sigh, Takato looked back down. He first looked at Yoka, then he looked to the front as he let out another small sigh. He got up to his feet as he started to loook for anything....that was not 'connected' to the roof. Oddly, he found some debris of some crates near-by. It didn't matter though: in fact, it was perfect for him, to show Yoka his power.
Without even turning his head to the direction, the small pieces of wood started to rise. The debris of wood crates started coming closer to him, until it came close enough that he could grab it with his own two hands. The small debris rose up above Takato's head, and it started to slowly bend. Eventually, the boards of wood broke into two separate pieces. The wood was then casted away somewhere near the bell.
Takato said to her, with a nervous smile, "I.....have these things on my back.....they can touch and even hold objects....but, I never see them...."
Then, with a small chuckle, he said, " They feel.....natural...." Then, he stopped smiling as he mumbled, "Most people don't have....that kind of ability, do they?......" He meant that the people outside of his world: including the other worlds and even this world.

Takato looked at Yoka, and noticed that she hadn't spoken a word yet. It was probably because he freaked her out. In his mind, Takato thought that he shouldn't have done that: He probably lost his first friend, just because of his power. Takato was already relucant to show it: The reaction that Takato got so far was worse.
At last, Yoka said something. Takato looked up with a slightly lit face: Like he had just seen something suddenly past by. He could understand that Yoka saw it weird: After all, she wasn't from his world. However, Takato thought that she tried to 'comfort' him by saying that she had seen weirder things.
He thought that it was stupid to ask about someone else having a power like his. Takato couldn't understand why he asked it: He guessed he wanted to 'know' that if someone else had his power....although, it was a faint chance that it will ever happen.
Takato smiled at Yoka as he modestly said, "Thank you...." He thanked her because she was being nice to him, which was rare for Takato. Takato looked up to the sky as well, before asking, "Do you...want to stay here?.....or go to the....Third District?...."

Takato thought about what the Third District REALLY had that would be considered 'entertaining'. He put one of his hands under his chin as he thought about her question. "Well......" Takato started. He tried to remember....anything, really, that would be fun for them. Then, he remembered about that 'flaming door' in the Third District.
Oddly enough, it appeared to be a door, but there was no knob or handles that indicated it was a door: You had to take a good glance at it. Once he figured out that it was door, Takato began to wonder how to open it....Although, even now: He couldn't find a way. Maybe with Yoka's help, he could possibly find a way to get inside....
Takato finally started to talk again as he said, "Well.....They have this door on the wall.....Although...I never found a way to open it...." Takato scratched the back of his head, as he slightly looked to the side, embarrassed with what he said. It would be really embarrassing if Yoka had suddenly found some-way to open the door, in a matter of one day. However, it was just a thought: It's not like it could possibly happen, right?
However, with the way that Takato was, he wanted to make sure if Yoka still wanted to stay here or not. "Ummmm...." He started. "Of course....we don't have to go yet.....you can stay here for a bit longer, if you like...."

(sorry about that.^_^; just haven't role-played here for a while...plus, I looked at your screen name and I mistaken that for Yoka. And don't worry about the short post.^_^) Takato smiled back at Yoka. It's was a good thing that she was...leninant, when it came to traveling. Takato thought that 'tourists' around here would of been picky about where they were going. He nodded his head as he said to Yoka, "Alright....umm.." Takato walked close to around the edges, and he slightly gulped at the sight of it. Getting up here wasn't bad: It was the climb DOWN that got him nervous, all of a sudden. You would think that a person who climbs up here would over-come 'heights' after so long....It could of been the small 'adrenaline' that he had at the thought of coming up here, that made him 'brave' for a little bit. He shook his head as he turned away from the ground site, and tried to talk up again. He said to Yoka, "Alright.....Follow me, please..." He signaled for Yoka to follow him as he went over the ladder and climbed down. (I'm going to 'speed' this moment up. ) Takato reached down to the second floor of the Second District. Thankfully, he was able to climb the ladder without slips or any other problems. Of course, he had 'extra' help that would most likely prevent him from getting hurt in any 'ladder' accident. Takato took a quick glance up at Yoka, then he quickly looked down, with a sudden blush. Even Takato knew it was rude to look up when a girl was above you....However, Takato was too speech-less to really say anything about it; even a simple 'sorry'. Instead, he quickly opened the door, with his face muffled to his shirt. He awaited for Yoka to come down and give her thanks to him. ( I hope that this post was good enough.>.> Sorry if it sounds bad.>.>)
