The Underworld....a place that no living thing ever wanted to be in. In here, dead souls traveled far and wide just to come here: To simply put it, it was a 'cage' for the souls. Yet, there were tales of normal mortals coming into this forbiddened land....although, almost all of them were a bit unpleasant. And now, a person was learning that lesson the hard-way....
Red was in the Cave of the Dead entrance, and he was having the fight of his life, no pun intended. He already had his spear out, and was well into the heat of battle. He was facing against new heartless, along with some familiar ones. One of the newer heartless resembled the large body in size, yet it was green and could spin as a top with speed. Not only that, but it had spikes for hands.
Red was fighting against 3 of these, along with 2 dog heartless. There was a group of large bodies as well...although, they were moving so slow at the moment, Red couldn't really consider them a 'threat' yet. And his mind was already focused with the 'top-spin' heartless, as they were causing him trouble the most.
Red's back banged against the rocky wall with a thud. Red gasped for breath from the sudden impact. There were small cuts and bruises on his arm and face. When he looked up, he noticed that a spike-ball was coming right at his face. In reaction, Red leaped and tripped to the side to avoid the spikes.
He gathered a spark of flames in his hand, and it soon turn into a fire-ball. He threw the fire-ball with all the energy he had, and it hit the heartless directly at the head. Yet, the green heartless remained standing, almost like it was unaffected by the fire. The heartless' tiny head turned to Red and was about ready to strike again with the spikes.
Red quickly got up, but he struggled to do a simple thing such as that. The spike landed on the ground where Red was suppose to be, and it left a dented mark on the ground. Red panted his breath as he held his spear in one hand. His breathing was heavy, and sweat were falling from him like it was rain. He had an extremely confused look on his face.
'I don't get it...' Red thought to himself as he tried to hold the spear with two hands. 'I've been fighting these things for so long. They should be gone by now!' Another thing that Red had noticed was that the air here was.....suffocating, to him. It was like it this place was made to give 'people' a hard time to go through. If only he wasn't struggling with this air....he thought that he would be doing so much better in this fight...
A surprised look came upon Red's face as he realized that one of the 3 spike heartless had suddenly jumped over the other one, and directly above Red. Red didn't need to think twice with what he needed to do next: He quickly ran away from the shadow that was above him. The heartless landed with a thud so hard, that Red had almost tripped from the shock of it.
Red sighed as he panted some more. If this continued, Red was going to be part of this world forever. He looked up to the air for a moment, praying. "Someone please help me...." He mumbled to himself as he looked down at the two spike heartless, which were slowly coming at him. Red got his spear ready as he tried to hold his body into a fighting stance as best as he could.
