Kei gained the attention of the dragon fairly quickly. He had run right in front of it. At first the beast had taken him for easy prey, merely breathing fire in his direction. Bringing his blade up he faced it towards the ground. When the fire came racing towards him it did not burn him to a crisp like the dragon probably had hoped. Instead it absorbed into the blade.
The dragon's eyes narrowed in response. Dragons were smart creatures. As smart as humans if not even smarter. Some could even communicate to humans. This one didn't seem to though. It gave a mighty roar, intended to make him flinch no doubt. But Kei was no longer that child he once was. He was stronger now, older.
Dragon fire sprouted from his keyblade circling around it. "Let's see how you like your own fire turned against you." And with that he charged forward.
Coming in close vicinity of the beast, it responded with a swipe of its claws towards him. Kei leaped actually on top of its claw. Jumping off of that he leaped onto the dragon's head. And then he went a winging at the dragon's neck. His blade bounced off the armored scales but the the fire around his blade allowed him to chip off at it.
The dragon responded by shaking its head, in attempt to throw him off. Kei was forced to grab onto the neck and hold on for dear life. But the dragon wasn't giving up so easily. So with his knees clutching where he was he continued to slash at the neck. It wasn't easy and Kei felt like he would drop and fall at any moment.
But somehow he managed to cut through the scales. With the neck exposed, Kei let out a cry as he stabbed into the neck. The dragon screamed.
------------------------------
Bullseye turned towards the dying sound of the dragon. And there on top of it was the keyblader. Her hands started shaking in anger. When she spotted the teen she was immediately taken back to the past.
She was a little girl again watching her mother. "Stop this battle!" She called as she ran in between the keyblader and her husband. "No more please!" But the call had come to late. The keyblader had already unleashed his attack. And her mother absorbed the full blow of it.
Clutching her gun again in the present, Bullseye began to make her way towards the keyblader. When she joined the committee she had sworn she would kill every keyblader.
---------------------------------
Smiles turned to the cat. "What do you think will happen once the key is dead." The cat shrugged.
"Well I would imagine that the white queen will lose." The cat said.
"And the girl?" Smiles asked.
The cat shrugged. "Well as the red queen says, 'Off with her head.'"

Not aware of what flashbacks Bullseye was having, nor the fact that Bullseye was even there to begin with, Ivory had hurried up to where the keyblade wielder had gone. Since she hadn't reached him in time, and because the flames were too dangerous to simply rush into, she was forced to stand back for a moment. She could fly with her armor and could have flown all the way to the battlefield if she wanted to but that hadn't even crossed her mind at first.
Seeing him fight the dragon, she really wondered who was who in this battle. Who were the good guys and who were the bad? Ivory hadn't known this world for very long and she didn't exactly know which side was which. Since she was caught up in it, Ivory could care less. She only apprehended anyone that got in her way. She didn't kill them unless they tried to kill her first.
With time wasted, Ivory felt the need to get moving even more. If she didn't, she'd die. This thought made the blood rush in her veins, adrenaline kicking in. She wouldn't let herself lose and die this day! Not by a long shot!
Now that she thought about it, Bullseye's weapon hadn't been the best for long range. Her weapon had looked like some sort of shotgun. Shotguns were known to do extensive damage up close rather than long range. Long range was more so meant for rifles. So, even if Bullseye were here, Ivory still had time to get in closer to the target before Bullseye could reach him, hopefully.
Despite the adrenaline flowing through her veins, Ivory was tired from all the strenuous activity she had to go through. Still, she pushed herself onward. If she lost, then she didn't care turning to Bullseye and fighting her if she had to. Ivory wasn't going to let some psychotic bitch kill her!
The battle with the dragon before her had gone rather unpleasantly. One moment it looked like the dragon would win and the next, the keyblade wielder had stabbed it in the neck, making it let out a horrible scream. Ivory squinted her eyes in pain, clutching at her ears. 'Come on! Any moment now!' she thought with anticipation.

Bullseye had no idea where Ivory was. There was only herself and her target. As she made her way over to him she shot anyone that got in her way. For a few card soldiers, heartless, and even some humans, this meant death. Her target bullets went through them like a blade. They were nothing compared to a trained assassin.
As Kei finished off the dragon he jumped off it. The dragon crashed to the ground and Bullseye found herself facing him. He had no idea that Ivory was behind him. Nor did Bullseye for that matter. She only saw the target and the keyblade he held. Raising her gun she aimed. "Die you piece of shit!" She shouted at him before pulling the trigger.
She hadn't expected Kei to dodge, but he did. He had no clue of who she obviously was, but something had given her away. And so when she shot her bullseye struck the ground where he was standing. He had jumped backward though. Three feet in front of Ivory.

Smiles was used to reeking havoc on worlds. Keyblade heroes were the sworn protectors of this universe. They followed the same set of laws of protection. There was no fun in being a hero. Chaos... Well chaos on the other hand. Now that was interesting. It was fascinating to Smiles that a single death could have such a large impact on a world.
What was so special about these Keybladers? Why did they have such power at their disposal. A single person could change the outcome of the war taking place here. But his death insures the victory of the opposition. Was it their weapon? Did their weapon grant such powers? Or was it the individual? Smiles would find his answers.

It was getting hard to ignore the need to rest. Right now, she wanted more than anything to rest but the will to live was stronger. If there ever was a redeeming factor about her personality, it was her will to live. Everything else, where she was somewhat of a intellect from school, was nothing in comparison. Oh, she cared about others but now she was forced to distance herself from within with what she was about to do.
Steeling herself, she watched as the keyblade warrior killed the dragon. As it fell, he came down with it as well. Landing on the ground, now was her chance to get him! As he was standing some distance before her, Ivory held her katanas at the ready. She wasn't sure which option would prove better other than a stab in the back.
Taking into account of sharp her blades usually were and how long they were, it wouldn't be difficult to make it go through to the other side of him if she were to try that tactic from behind. At first, she almost restrained herself. 'No, Smiles said to never hesitate or it will cost my life!' she thought.
Just as that thought had hit her, giving her the final resolve to go through with this, a gunshot was heard! Ivory's eyes widened. At first, she had thought that someone just shot her target. Since there was only one person that she knew who had a gun here so far, it didn't take long for her to figure out that Bullseye was already here and already trying to kill the keyblade warrior!
By some stroke of luck, though not by much, Bullseye had missed him! The result, he had leapt back to get away from her but in doing so it took him closer before Ivory! A perfect chance since he didn't appear to be aware that she was right there!
Not wanting to die, knowing she will die if Bullseye were to kill him first, Ivory moved her katanas swiftly and jabbed out at the keyblade wielder's turned back. If she got him, he would certainly feel the two swords going into his back and maybe even through to the front of his navel if they cut through his body.

War... it was a messy thing. People died right and left. Yet at that moment. The only thing Kei felt was pain from two kantanas stabbing through his back. He had never seen it coming and the look of surprise on his face showed.
There was an uproar of defiance from the person who had shot at him. Why, he really didn't know. At that moment he didn't even care. His life flashed through his eyes. His acceptance of the keyblade, the destruction of his world. Everything flashed right by. And at the end of the day what was the meaning of his existence?
What had he accomplished? Sure he saved a couple of people from death. Helped a couple worlds become a better place. But at the end it meant nothing. At the end he was dying in battle. And for what? To do good? Was this good? Was war virtuous?
As blood leaked from his lips and he fell backwards, he felt that it was not. Still he wouldn't have changed his decision to come here. They needed his help, and he had done something! He had stopped that dragon! Maybe the White Queen still had a chance. He wouldn't get to see the result though.
His last thought was that he wished he could.
-------------------------------------
Bullseye had only herself to blame. She had gotten caught up in her range and it had made her sloppy. Because of that she had failed. She had lost! Bullseye would have wanted nothing more then to shoot the girl right here and now! But she had promised. The girl was worthy of her position in the committee.
As much as she hated to admit that she had to now. Sighing Bullseye placed her shotgun on her shoulder. "Well done." She told Ivory. She wanted nothing more that moment then to leave the world. Turning about she began to make her way off the battle field. Anyone who got in her way she killed.
--------------------------
Smiles heard the sound of a chuckle to his left. Seems that the cat had returned. "You just can't let me sleep can you?" He asked the cat with his eyes shut.
"Come now. I thought you would want to know the outcome of your competition?"
"Not a competition of mine...."
The cat laughed aloud. "You know what I mean."
Smiles smiled. "And?"
"Seems like the White Queen has lost her knight. The day will belong to the Red Queen, all thanks to your little assistant. "
So she had won. This was good. Perhaps she was not hopeless just yet. Well now things were going to get very interesting.

Ivory felt her swords make contact. Her eyes widened as she realized she managed to stab them through the other's body. Did she really surprise the individual enough that he hadn't seen her attack coming? She couldn't help but feel confused. Where she had won, seeing the life drain from him, it didn't feel like a true victory. She had stabbed someone in the back and killed them. Still, he wasn't the first person she killed. She had killed many others before him but they had been regular civilians. Honestly, she had half expected more of a challenge.
'Then again, the way of the assassin is to attack your enemy by surprise!' she thought. At least, that was mostly what the job description entailed. She would have preferred more of a fair fight but knew that if she did, she would have lost against Bullseye. There had been no hesitation in the other girl.
Now, she wondered greatly what Bullseye was thinking. Seeing their target slump to the ground dead, she looked back at Bullseye. She could see the look of anger on her face, even had heard the scream of dismay. If Bullseye were to try and kill her right now, there was nothing that Ivory could do about it at this point. She was too tired to keep fighting. There was a moment of silence that passed between them as Ivory looked back at Bullseye.
Then, as if nothing happened, Bullseye spoke. Instead of words of insult or of the threatening type, Bullseye had gone on to praise her. "...Thank you." Seeing Bullseye rest her shotgun on her shoulder and then turn and leave, Ivory sighed with relief. 'Somehow, I made it!' she thought.
Her eyes going toward the now dead body of the keyblade wielder, Ivory couldn't help but feel sick as she pulled her katanas out from him. Honestly, he had been doing his job as a warrior. He was trying to protect others in eliminating that dragon. No doubt, if she didn't make her get away soon, she would be on the top of his friends' 'to kill' list.
Tired, but still having enough energy to move, Ivory forced her armor's dragon wings to help her take flight. The effort alone made it easier on herself as she headed back for the forest. Landing in a clearing, she made her way back slowly to where she knew Smiles would probably still be lounging. He never seemed to be in a hurry for anything, that one.
When she found him, he had his eyes shut but she knew better than to think he didn't know someone was already present. He probably knew it to be her though, he had an odd way about him that made her wonder if he had eyes behind the back of his head sometimes. Sending her armor away, to let her shoulders take a break from the helmet, shoulder guards and chest plate, she sat down patiently and silently. She knew better than to disturb him unless he spoke to her first, letting her know that she could then speak to him.
As she waited, she wiped sweat from her brow. No doubt, once this day was through, she would certainly be sleeping like a log. Heck, she might for the next two weeks until her body recovered.

Smiles opened a single eye. He looked the tired Ivory up and down. He said nothing at first only smiled. "Seeing as you are here, I take it she didn't kill you. Only reason she wouldn't is if she lost. And from her lack of being here.... I will take it that you won."
This was good news. Very good news. The wheels were already turning in Smiles's head, projecting the many possible outcomes that this will bring. No doubt the war would be finished. The Red Queen would, without a doubt, win. Chaos was going to explode on this planet. No doubt they would return here sooner or later. At the moment they had no time to stay and watch such chaos unfold.
Standing, Smiles brushed off and grass or dust that had made its way onto his clothes. He brought his hands together and puffed a combination of energy out onto the ground. A portal similar to the one they had arrived in appeared.
"Are you ready?" He asked her.

Certainly, since a strong warrior like a keyblade wielder was just killed, the tides of battle would shift for whatever side he wasn't on. Ivory could guess at it already. She looked back at Smiles in silence, waiting for him to respond in any way. Right now, she enjoyed the brief rest she was getting by sitting there.
Then, after a pause, Smiles spoke. Looking back over at him, she listened to what he was saying. He was definitely correct in his assumptions. If she wasn't here, she would have been dead. Since she was right there sitting there before him, she had passed the test.
"Yes, I have." She nodded to what he said to confirm that she had. If not, she wouldn't be here right now and Bullseye would probably be here telling him that she had killed Ivory. Well, at least now she got to see the light of another day. She had yet to see what other things were to come. There was no telling how the others were going to react and if Bullseye's hatred for her had been sated enough where she wouldn't kill her at the very least.
Suddenly, Smiles got to his feet and brushed himself off. Seeing him blow out energy from hi hands, she saw a portal much like the one they used to move from area to area in the past. Hearing his words, Ivory inwardly sighed to herself. Pushing herself up off the ground, she looked back over at him and nodded.
"I'm ready." Even if she wasn't, she knew they would have to leave regardless so why stall?

Smiles knew that she had no idea where they were about to go. "Good. It's time for your introduction and entrance into the committee. Your about to meet the rest of the organization. Some will mock over you like you were a fresh new toy. Some might try to kill you. Who really knows?"
He himself had no clue as to what was going to happen. That was what made this whole thing so interesting! Placing his hands into his pockets he led the way. It wouldn't do any good to waste time.
The portal would lead them to their headquarters. He wondered what Ivory would make of the place when she saw it. The headquarters wasn't your average place. Nor your average looking. Snake had chosen it with care and it clearly showed his personality. But she would see it when they got there.
---------------------------
The Cheshire Cat watched them go through the portal. It was always sad to see a friend go. But Cat had many such friends in his life time. Smiles was nothing special. At least not in his eyes anyway. But he did have a knack of changing things wherever he went. Every world he stepped on he changed in some way. And for that reason, even though he wasn't special, he was interesting.
The cat had only met one other like Smiles. And he had died long ago. He was nothing but a boy then, with no idea the amount of potential he had. And of course he had no friends either. He was alone in the world. The Cat had heard he had died saving all the worlds!
He only wished that perhaps he could have watched that boy through the rest of his journey. He had helped him when the chance came. But all that was years and years ago. No point in dreading on the past.
The cat watched the portal vanish. Best get back to the world around him. Things were about to get interesting on this world once again.
