Lance could hear what sounded like a battle taking place. As he went, he heard some people that saw him running past call out his family's last name. Their tones of voices sounded like a mixture between fear and relief to see a Wilder heading towards whatever it was going on. On occasion, he had to dodge the oncoming person running from wherever the battle was taking place. In his heart, he knew that he was close.
When he finally rounded the corner to see what was happening, he skidded to a halt to take in the sight of what was standing there. There was a woman with arms encased in rock from the earth. She was using this to hit homes as if they were made of paper and used it to smash people into pancakes.
Before her, the girl from before was opposing her alongside her four legged companion. "Whoa! Not what I was expecting!" he said to himself. With the chaos going on, no one would have heard him from over there. They were all in the center of a big opening in the city. Lance knew he was a fighter but how could he hope to counter something like that? Not many Wilders inherited enough potency magic wise when it came to fighting. Some, it even laid dormant for a while.
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Darius's eyes wandered the room since he wasn't really sure what else to do. He was sure there were questions White was dying to ask but at a time like this, it seemed inappropriate to do so. As White glanced over at him, Darius's gaze had wandered back over at the suits of armor. He didn't know why but he kept looking back over at the one that "Rowen the Great" once wore.
It wasn't until then when someone came hurrying into the room. Looking breathless, Brayden took a moment to regain his breath before looking at the others. Since he appeared to be so distressed, most had stopped to look over at him and the room was growing quiet.
"L-Lance! He headed into the city! I think he's running away but he said something about the city being in danger!" he announced hurriedly. Darius took that moment to look over at White. No doubt, they'd want to get involved if danger was afoot.

Roy was the first to notice Brayden as he entered the room. And so he was the first to rise upon his call of distress. White too glanced over at Darius and together there eyes met. It would just be like it for danger to follow them here. If this danger was real... White had a feeling it was coming after them. "Maybe he's just over reacting."[/i] White thought to himself.
Roy spoke first. Even though Ray would be the one to make the final decision here, he felt like his opinion should be known as well. "Brayden I think Lance just needed some time alone. We have wards set up in the village to detect heartless and nobodies. If there were too many of them and they were causing distress the wards would have sounded by now."
White had no clue as to how the wards or whatever they were worked here, but he knew that there were more enemies to worry about. Just thinking back to Wonderland, Destiny Island, even Halloween Town, reminded him of all that. It could very well be one individual too powerful to stop. Ray seemed like he was about to stand and speak to the crowd as well, but instead of listening to him White turned to Darius.
"What do you think?" He asked.
-------------------------
Sir Joffery and Lady Silvia were locked in battle with the fissure. The one that Lady Silvia had fought before was a push over compared to this enemy. There were three problems they were running into. The first was the overwhelming power of the opponent. As if to prove this, Sir Joffery charged once more. He twirled his spear and with a battle cry swung over his head and down on the opponent.
Just like before the enemy caught the attack with its rock hand. And just as it had happened a little bit ago, the other arm curled into a fist that slammed into Sir Joffery and sent him ten feet back. The power of this enemy was ridiculous. The second problem they were running into was close to the first. Lady Silvia sent another blast of fire energy out of her keyblade and towards the enemy.
The woman the enemy possessed, twirled around and pounded both fists into the ground. The rock that had surrounded her arms traveled down and formed a wall that stopped the fire energy in its tracks. Neither magic or physical was working on the enemy.
And the third problem of course was that there just wasn't enough of them. Lady Silvia caught eyes with Sir Joffery, who had gotten back up on its four legs. Lady Silvia gave him a nod as she charged in as well. The hope was that together the enemy would not be able to stop a two prong attack. They were wrong. Lady Silvia and Sir Joffery met the enemy at the same time, she swinging her keyblade at the front, in attempt to slice her side, and Sir Joffery stabbing from the back in attempts to pierce the enemy through.
The response of the enemy was to bring her rock arms together overlapping just as they both dashed. When they were both close enough, the enemy shot our pieces of rock in every direction. Lady Silvia had to stop her onward attack and deflect oncoming rock missiles! Sir Joffery was forced to do the same. The onslaught of rocks continued until finally Lady Silvia and Sir Joffery had to step back and away from the enemy. Finally when the rocks stopped the fissure just looked at them with a smile of glee. Of course neither of them saw Lance.

Brayden blinked over at his family members when his grandfather spoke. Looking back at him, Brayden felt more distressed. If that was the case, then why would Lance knock him unconscious? That made no sense at all. Maybe it was an enemy that wasn't like those Nobodies or Heartless? What if it were a human enemy? The wards didn't detect human enemies! As for Heartless and Nobodies, the wards only went off if there were more than one.
The youth shook his head, wincing when he did as he brought a hand up to rub the bump on his head that Lance had given him. "Lance would've ran away, not knock me out cold!" he protested. Then again, that was left up to speculation. If someone was persistent enough, it was difficult to tell if Lance would knock them out cold or not.
"You just said it yourself, only if there were too many! What if there were just some? What if it's an enemy the wards can't pick up on? Whatever it was, it was enough to make him leave and knock me out! Don't you think it's worth looking into?" he asked them. Grand uncle Ray gave a sigh. He didn't like the idea of Lance running off the estate, if that was the case. Lance also wasn't known to lie all that often but he did sometimes.
"If it worries you that much, then you can go and look for him, Brayden." Brayden's shoulders slouched in response to that before turning towards the door. Well, if they weren't going to be much help, then he might as well go and look for Lance. If there really was trouble, then he'd help him even if he wasn't as skilled as Lance.
"Fine, I'll go and look for him." With that, Brayden headed outside. As he did so, he held out both of his hands and in them appeared two axes. Not wasting anymore time, Brayden headed off the estate in search for his cousin.
Darius had known exactly what he and White had both been thinking the moment Brayden had entered the building. He was confused at first but with the mention of trouble, Darius wouldn't doubt it if there was. Besides, the enemies they met in the past weren't just Heartless and Nobodies. There were human enemies and then there were the really weird ones.
The minute White asked him what he thought, Darius let out a sigh. "I don't like the idea of sitting here and finding out the hard way that it was true. We don't exactly have a good track record when it comes to danger, White."
------------------------------------------------------------------
Yes, from where Lance was standing, that woman was a formidable foe. Magic and physical attacks weren't doing her much harm. The only way to handle her, it seemed would be if someone were of great power and if there were more of them around here. Lance furrowed his eyebrows as he gripped his lance. As he watched, he could see the girl and the centaur not making much progress.
The good they did was get blocked, knocked around, or get rock projectiles thrown at them. Lance hadn't taken the time to put on any armor, his family usually had custom made armor and Lance's was back home in his room. "Nice one, Lance Wilder, you got yourself out here to fight and forgot your armor!" he grumbled to himself.
The enemy had managed to make the pair from earlier back off, smiling at them with a wicked glee. It looked like she was busy with them and neither appeared to take notice of him. Maybe he would get lucky and sneak up on her from behind? As that thought occurred to him, Lance began walking to the side quietly, his eyes fixed on the foe.

It was Sir Joffery who noticed the teen sneaking up behind the enemy. He motioned to Lady Silvia with a head gesture. Glancing over to the shadows behind the enemy, she saw the boy with the lance. Squinting, Lady Silvia was surprised to see that it was the teen from before. What was he doing here? Well he was a Wilder.
Lady Silvia nodded back to Sir Joffery. He let out a battle cry and came charging in towards the enemy. The women pivoted towards him. Summoning more earth around her arms and hands. Lady Silvia charged as well, sending balls of fire from her keyblade. The enemy's smile turned to quick annoyance as one arm deflected the balls of energy.
The other was forced to defend against the attacks of the spear. Neither Sir Joffery or Lady Silvia let up, giving Lance an opening.
------------------------------
White heard the end of the exchange between Brayden and his grand uncle. He felt sorry for the kid. Either there was a serious enemy out there.... or Lance was playing tricks on his cousin. White turned to Mr. Thomas and Arya. They had listened to both White and Darius and Brayden and his Grand Uncle.
"Were with you White and Darius." Arya told them.
White stood up. Seems like everyone was taking turns standing and addressing the crowd. Turning to the two eldest at the head of the table White addressed them. "If it's alright with you, why don't we go along with Brayden. Just in case there is danger. Were all warriors after all as well. We can look after him and make sure he gets back."

Lance hoped the other two would catch on as he made his way into the shadows behind the enemy. It would be a good attempt, if things just went according to plan. Didn't mean it would though. Silently, he stalked behind the woman and he saw the others took notice of him. He didn't notice the gleam in his lance's metal of his blade again showing someone else's face smirking again.
The girl and the centaur began attacking the woman once again. This time, they didn't let up. It looked like they were giving him an opening. That was good,Lance wasn't sure how he would manage if he tried to attack without them keeping her rock arms busy.
Once he got in close enough, Lance ran and jumped at the woman from behind, his lance aiming downward at her. If he didn't impale her, he was hoping to leave a nasty scratch. After all, this was the home of the Wilders. How dare she hurt people here? She would pay for it.
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Brayden was already on his way to the battlefield, not even sure where to go. All he knew was the screams he had been hearing had dwindled. Instead, he could hear something else going on. It were as if some sort of large fight was going on somewhere deeper in the city. He had no idea that White and Darius's group would be following him very soon as he went.
Darius looked over at Mr. Thomas and Arya after that brief exchange with White. The two had been listening to what was going on. They were fine with whatever they decided upon. Darius gave a nod at that before White finally stood up, Darius following his lead but not to speak. He watched as White addressed the family. Darius didn't care if they told them not to go. He would still go just to ease his own mind. It was better to check even if there wasn't any real danger.
Grand uncle Ray seemed to understand their way of thinking. It would be best to send someone else to escort Brayden rather than letting the two run around, left to their own devices. He gave them a nod. "You may but be careful if there is. I don't think there is any danger but should you find it, be careful. If our wards aren't detecting it, then it must be something far more dangerous than anything we've ever experienced." With that, he gave them one last nod to show that they may leave.
Darius gave abow out of respect before heading outside with the others.

Grand Uncle was right. What they faced was something far more dangerous then they had ever imagined. Lady Silvia and Sir Joffery kept up their attack as Lance narrowed the distance between him and the enemy's back. As he came upon them at last, Lady Silvia made the mistake of letting up just before Lance's attack. The result was that the enemy had a free hand.
The fissure got its arm to the right as it turned just in time to block the oncoming attack. But this left just the opening Lady Silvia needed. Keyblade in hand, she brought it back and went in for the kill. The keyblade was never really meant to vanquish humans. But it had enough punch to go through an enemy. Lady Silvia's keyblade was her own unique weapon. It reflected her personality and aspirations of being a free individual as well.
She had only been studying under her liege for a year now, having only been a keyblader for one as well. But her liege was a wonderful trainer, and he depended upon her since he was old in age. He no longer had the strength he once had, but his mind was full of information. He had trained three different keyblade heros over the years. One was a master now himself. The other disappeared, likely dead because of one of these creatures. He had told her that she would be his last. She was determined to make him proud. To vanquish any enemy from her sight. She was a hero!
And she died being one. She never saw the woman who stood upon one of the houses. Dressed in old fashioned clothing with gray hair tied in a bun, and a black patch over her eye. In her hands she held her long old fashioned riffle, and from it she used her death bullet. The boom was the last thing that Lady Silvia hear as the bullet went through her head, killing her instantly.
-----------------------------
White exited the dinning room. Being the last out, he closed the door behind him. It was just the four of them again. They had to find Brayden and Lance. If there were enemies they would deal with them when they came. White had not brought any of his weapons, and he was pretty sure that Darius, Arya, and Mr. Thomas hadn't either. Well perhaps Darius did, with his dragon item, but Arya and Mr. Thomas didn't.
"I need to grab my kantana. Let's stop at the house on the way." Walking down the path, it didn't take long to reach the house. Once inside he grabbed his weapon from Justice's room. Throwing it over his shoulder, White met everyone outside.
From there it was a matter of minutes before they exited the estate and reached the road that led into town. White started at a normal pace at first. By now the majority of the people had fleeted out of the village, to anywhere it seemed safe. But alot of them were heading right towards the Wilder's place. They couldn't know where it was exactly, but they knew the general direction.
When it became clear that their state was roughed up, and when White even noticed that some of them were bleeding, he walked up to one of them. "What happened? Are you alright?" He asked a woman who had blood dripping from a spot on her head. The woman had to be in her forties at least.
"It has to be Skull... He's sent his minions against us again!" White had no idea what or who Skull was. But he knew it couldn't be good. Sharing a look with Darius and Arya and Mr. Thomas he broke into a run.

Lance cursed when his attack was blocked by the rock armed woman. Since he had been so focused on her, he hadn't considered there being more around. In fact, he had relied cooperatively on the other two to help him out. Still, there was both arms being distracted now. Lance could see the girl from earlier taking advantage of this. It really looked like she was going to go in for a kill.
Unfortunately, fate had something else in mind for her. Lance's eyes widened as he heard the sound of a gun firing. The girl's head got a hole in it and she was down! Lance couldn't believe what he had just seen as he was forced to leap back in his shock. There had been an enemy, all this time, waiting from on high! And they just shot the girl in the head!
Just as Lance had seen this, so had Brayden! He had rounded a corner and just saw a young girl get shot in the head! Brayden faltered in his footsteps, looking on in horror at what had just happened. There was a woman with rock on her arms and there was another one on the rooftop nearby that had just made a head shot.
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Darius and the others would surely be surprised once they came upon the scene. As they searched for Brayden and Lance, they came across some people. By the looks of them, they were wounded. The area was damaged, like some sort of train went through here. Quietly, Darius listened to what White was asking the woman.
According to them, Skull had returned and his minions were here. Skull? The name rang one serious bell. Darius was pretty sure he had heard the name once before. Exchanging looks with the rest, Darius took off at a run right after White. Soon, they would come across the battlefield and find out what had happened.

Smoke lowered her weapon, a trail of smoke oozing out of the barrel of her long rifle. Crouching down on her knee she heard the sudden scream of horror, that could only belong to the centaur. Pressing against the small mechanical piece in her ear she spoke. "Mission complete. Leaving the rest of the situation to the fissure. Returning to base."
Standing up once more, Smoke waited for Fang to open a portal. She did not have to wait long. Opening in front of her she stepped in. Her mission was complete. Now she could return to the castle. She had finished in just enough time too. Snake had called for another meeting, and it was going to begin any second.
-----------------------
"Protect her with your life son. She is the daughter of the king. You are her greatest defense and greatest friend. It is the honor of our family." The words of Sir Joffery's father played over and over in his head. Tears swelled in Sir Joffery's eyes as he fell to his knees.
The fissure, who had been attacking Lance, had noticed the opening in Sir Joffery and went in for the attack. What it found though was an enemy who had no time for it. Sir Joffery cast aside his spear and grabbed the fissure's hands with his own. Locked in a shoving match, Sir Joffery by all means should have been overpowered. But there was fury and rage locked in his eyes.
Sir Joffery struggled but he pushed aside the enemy's arms enough to get behind them. Letting them go, Sir Joffery grabbed the fissure by the waist and threw it as hard as he could towards one of the crushed in buildings.
While the fissure went flying, a glow had appeared in Lady Silvia's dead body. And from that glow a creature appeared. Looking almost like a heartless except with a dark blue body and red stripes down its body, yellow eyes blinking in new birth. It glanced a moment at Lance, the only one who would potentially be looking at it, perhaps besides Brayden if he was on the scene. But it didn't wait for him to act. The new fissure shot across the earth at blinding speed away from the scene. It would find a body of its own somewhere.
---------------------------
White and Darius came upon the edge of town. Even from here they could see the destruction of the town. It was empty except for people who lay on the ground dead or dying. The majority of them were alive at this place. Upon seeing this Arya began to rush over to those who were dying. She began summoning magic right away.
Mr. Thomas ran up to help but she said to him, "No. Go with Darius and White. Whatever has caused this is powerful. You three be careful. I'll try and heal these people."
Nodding, Mr. Thomas joined White and Darius. "Guess we follow the destruction." He said. Breaking into a run again, having caught some of his lost breath, he headed more towards the center of the village. Where they passed even more destroyed homes and more dead people.

Before Lance could say or do anything, the enemy with the rock arms had gone to attack him. Lance rolled out of the way just barely avoiding getting smashed by a massive rock fist. By the time he had a moment to glance back up at the roof where Silvia's killer had been, he discovered that she had disappeared. Apparently, she only had business with killing Silvia or was locating a new spot to shoot down at them. Glimpsing around the area though, he didn't see anyone but kept his guard up.
The woman with the rock arms decided to then focus on the centaur in his moment of grief. Joffrey had dropped his spear but he still wasn't incapable. The two made impact and Joffrey had was now in a shoving contest with the enemy. Lance would've thought he would be bowled over but he was holding his own rather well. In fact, he was holding his own so well that he had managed to throw the enemy into one of the toppled buildings!
"Whoa!" Lance exclaimed, watching the enemy go skyward before turning his attention toward the girl who had just died. A distressed expression was written on his face. He couldn't help but wonder if he was partially to blame but how could he be? No one even knew that woman had been waiting upon the rooftop like she had. If they had been more aware of their surroundings, they would've seen her! Lance could only curse their rotten luck and feel terrible for what had happened.
Then, something strange happened. Lady Silvia's body emitted some kind of glow. When the glow appeared, up popped what had to be the strangest creature Lance had ever seen. It looked back at him and Lance back at it wondering what the hell it was. The wards weren't even sounding off! Being a Wilder, Lance and Brayden would have felt something was amiss concerning the wards but he felt nothing! What kind of creature was this? As he made to take a step towards it, the creature took off in the blink of an eye like a bullet.
Brayden hurried over to join them just as the enemy was recovering from being thrown. "What the heck was that thing? What's going on?" he managed to say, looking over at the dead girl with a look of dismay. It was sad to see anyone dead.
------------------------------------------------------------------
Darius skidded to a halt when they reached the edge of town. Here, they found many people either injured, dying or dead. Whatever foe that lay in wait for them somewhere, it had to be powerful. Arya ran over and started summoning up magic to heal them. Mr. Thomas made to run over to help but she instructed him to go with Darius and White.
Whatever that had done this, it was certainly powerful. Darius hoped that no one they knew was killed. It would be really sad to have to announce to the Wilder family that they lost but another family member. Hopefully, they'd find them soon.
With a nod at what White had just said, Darius took off at a run alongside him. The three were making their way towards the center of where the destruction was taking place. By the time they got there, Darius noticed quite a few figures. All of them, but one, were familiar! "Joffrey?!" Darius exclaimed when the got close enough.

Sir Joffery cradled Lady Silvia's body in his arms. Tears continued to flow down his face as he was overcome with grief. He heard nothing, saw nothing. Only felt enormous grief and defeat. Not even Darius's call awakened him. Even White's gasp was lost to his ears.
"My lady." He mumbled over and over again. He had lost his best friend. He had failed her. In the back of his mind, he heard talking. Perhaps White, Darius, and Mr. Thomas talking with Lance and Brayden. But their words had no meaning. He could not hear them. He just held her body up in his arms, the blood from the bullet in her head trickling down his chest.
A sudden scream though did shake him. It was a scream of a creature's anger. The fissure had pulled itself from the rubble. White, Mr. Thomas, and Darius, would recognize the creature immediately for the way its eyes glowed yellow. Only one thing they knew could cause such a thing. And that was a fissure.
Standing from the rubble, the enemy summoned more earth around it. Around him, Sir Joffery could hear everyone taking out their weapons. Getting ready to take on the enemy. Sir Joffery slowly lowered his lady to the ground. Letting her body rest gently on the soil. He stood from the crouch he was in and his eyes snapped up to look at the fissure.
"Stand back." Sir Joffery said. "This enemy is mine." Sir Joffery reached behind him and pulled out his spear. White watched the centaur charge ahead.

As they finally came up to the rest, Darius couldn't help but look on with a sense of shock. Lance and Brayden were both fine but Lady Silvia, by the way Joffrey was acting, she was dead. There was a bullet hole in her head. "...Lady Silvia..." he uttered her name. The only reason he couldn't feel grief like Joffrey had been because he hadn't known her for very long. Still, it was sad to see that she had lost her life. What had done this?
Lance and Brayden looked over at the group as they heard them coming. The centaur was too stricken with grief and neither dared to try and pull him out of it. If he wished to just mourn, they would let him. Once the enemy would get back up, they would fight it and hopefully, keep it from attacking him.
When the others reached where they were, Lance answered whatever questions they had about what had happened. No sooner had they finished talking when a terrible screech was heard. Lance and Brayden covered their ears as they turned toward the source. Once again, the foe was standing back up and this time, Lance and Brayden understood more fully that what they were dealing with wasn't human at all.
As they made to get ready to fight the thing, Joffrey had set down Lady Silvia and had taken out his spear. According to him, the enemy was his. Lance and Brayden exchanged looks with one another. They understood what he had wanted but to let him fight the thing all by himself? Could he handle it?
"Uh...now...what?" Brayden said meekly. Lance gave a shrug.
"All we can do is wait...if we go rushing in, he'll hate us for our interference." Brayden nodded at what Lance had said before looking over at the others.
"Sorry for dragging you guys out here!" Brayden apologized. Lance said nothing, just focusing on the battle between Joffrey and the fissure. Of course, he didn't know that's what the thing was called.
"That woman's body...something had come out of it." Lance had gestured towards Silvia. "I'm not sure what it was but it was red and blue...and looked like a Heartless almost. It moved at such a speed, I didn't see where it went."

White listened to what Lance had to say as Sir Joffery began to make his way towards the opponent. He wanted to help the centaur. Especially after what had happened to Lady Silvia. But he understood the anger the centaur was feeling right now. It was the same anger he felt at the Assassination Committee. Right now it was fresh and it made Sir Joffery unpredictable. He would respect his wishes. White was ready to jump in if needed.
Listening to Lance and Brayden though made White nod. He knew exactly what kind of enemy had appeared out of Lady Silvia. It was the same enemy they currently faced. Glancing at Mr. Thomas and Darius he sighed.
"Its the same thing that is controlling that woman. There called fissures. We don't know anything about them. But they've been causing us loads of trouble. Them and the people they are working with. There the reason your uncle is dead." White had not told anyone as to how Justice had died as of yet. He was hoping to wait to tell them when he could ask more questions. But now felt like the right time to say that.
-------------------------------
Sir Joffery charged ahead. The fissure was pretty mad at him for throwing it into the wall, so it charged as well. But Sir Joffery's anger was at such a level that all he saw was the enemy. Nothing else existed except for his lady's killer. They met in the middle. Sir Joffery might have been anger, and adrenaline gave him strength that he didn't even know he had, but the enemy was still strong.
Blows were blocked here and there by the enemy's arms. Sir Joffery increased his attacks, hitting harder and faster. The enemy had no time to attack back, so in turn continued to deflect with the rock on its arms. However as Sir Joffery's attacks began to try and attack different places, the enemy began to back peddle.
As one of Sir Joffery's attacks succeeded in getting past the fissure's defenses and scratching the women's clothes. The enemy leaped back and threw its arms onto the ground, summoning a wall. None to soon either. Sir Joffery had charged right after the enemy had jumped back. Lowering his shoulder he charged right through the wall of stone!
The fissure had not expected that. It summoned earth from the ground and shot it at Sir Joffery like it had before. The rocks pounded against Sir Joffery's body causing bruise after bruise. But Sir Joffery began to battle through it. He was determined to not stop. He deflected what he could with his spear, but rocks still went through. But that did not prevent him from stopping. Step after step he closed the distance of where the fissure stood throwing rock after rock form the ground.
This was his battle. And his enemy! Letting out a grunt of rage, Sir Joffery rushed in through more rocks and brought his spear down in an attack. The enemy, ceased its onslaught and brought up the earth around its arms. It did not expect Sir Joffery to swing his lance so hard that it shattered the earth around its arms.
This time the screech that the fissure let out was one of fear not anger. Sir Joffery's spear slashed its right arm off at the elbow. Rising up on his hind legs, he kicked forward, sending the enemy into another broken house. But this time he did not wait for the enemy to get up. He charged after it.

Lance and Brayden listened as White spoke. The creatures were known as fissures but they didn't know anything more about them. They could control that woman with the rock arms though. How were they able to? Lance glanced over at the fissure as Joffrey made contact with the thing. Driven by anger, Joffrey was able to get through the thing's defenses enough to land a strike. Well, not really. He only just managed to scratch its clothes. The fissure...woman...thing, screeched in response as it tried to get away and fired rock projectiles and even tried forming a wall.
When White mentioned that they were causing his group a lot of trouble, Lance glanced over with curiosity. Until he explained that the people that were working with them, were the ones that had killed Justice Wilder. Brayden, not really thinking with Lance standing right next to him, spoke. "You mean, my uncle!" he corrected him. Pointing at Lance, still obviously not thinking, he added "Justice is his fath-!" He never got to finish the sentence as Lance had smacked him on the back of his head.
"Idiot, pay attention to what's going on here, why don't you?" he growled before gesturing towards the carnage around them. "I saw a woman, these people you speak of...do they happen to run around with guns by any chance?"he inquired, doing his best to change the subject back to what was happening. Lance didn't really wish to talk about Justice Wilder since he still had anger about the whole thing. Not that he'd direct the anger on White. He just hated discovering the truth as to who his father was.
Brayden held his head in pain. "Ooow! You didn't have to go and do that!" Brayden complained but Lance didn't seem to hear him. Darius just stood there and sighed to himself before turning a wary eye over at the battle at hand. Where it was good to be able to talk, he wasn't sure if this was a smart time for it. Anything could go awry and then they would find themselves thrown into the middle of danger here.
Darius watched as Joffrey managed to actually cleave off an arm on the fissure! "Whoa! He got her!" Darius exclaimed, sounding hopeful.

White was busy watching the battle between Sir Joffery and the fissure to pay much attention to the conversation between Lance and his brother. The centaur was locked in battle with the woman, taking on flying projectiles, and crushing through rock itself to slice off the enemy's arm.
Darius's shout made White smile. Maybe they wouldn't be needed for the battle. The way it was looking, Sir Joffery seemed to be able to take on the enemy himself. The fissure, who howled and recoiled in pain, leaped back. The earth that was around the enemy's fist had fallen off completely and returned back to the earth. The fissure looked on at at Sir Joffery in slight shock.
White wondered what it was thinking. Sir Joffery didn't wait to find out. He charged forward once more raising his spear and screaming while he went. The enemy summoned wall after wall of earth in Sir Joffery's path. He lowered his shoulder and crashed through one after another. The enemy's eyes narrowed as it tried to put more walls in its way.
Sir Joffery would not be stopped! As he came upon the enemy, the fissure summoned earth around its remaining whole arm and tried to punch him away. Sir Joffery was to close to dodge the attack. White winced as Sir Joffery was struck in the chest and thrown back.
White, who had his kantana drawn, took a step forward. He was ready to step in and help. He found a hand holding him back. "Let me go, he needs help." White began, but looking on to Sir Joffery, he watched the centaur standing back up. Blood dripped from his mouth, and he seemed to stumble slightly, using the but of his spear to steady himself.
The enemy, seeing him at a disadvantage, wanted to get back at the centaur for causing her pain. She ran towards the centaur, her earth fist raised. Sir Joffery charged as well again, hoisting his spear under his arm. It was like watching a jousting match. The two neared and to White's surprise both connected. Sir Joffery's spear found its mark in the woman's chest while the fissure's fist succeeded in punching the centaur once more.
Both fell to the ground from each others blow. But for sure the women was dead, the spear sticking out of her chest. As White had expected the woman's mouth opened and the fissure leaped out of it. It dashed right towards them, its target Brayden.

The fight grew very intense. At one moment, it looked as though Joffrey was winning. The next, he appeared to be losing and it looked like someone would need to step in very soon. However, the centaur could still stand on his feet despite blood dribbling from his body. The murder of his friend had apparently brought out a strength in Joffrey that was enough to drive him into defeating the enemy no matter the cost. The centaur had an amazing willpower and determination, that was pretty clear here. No doubt,if someone disobeyed his request then he would probably consider them an enemy. After all, it was his right to avenge Lady Silvia.
When White pulled out his katana, looking intent on jumping in to help the centaur, Lance grabbed a hold of White's shoulder. Even with White's protests, he didn't let go. "I'm sorry but I can't do that. If you get involved, and he survives, he could kill you for disobeying his request. Honor is upheld very strictly in these parts. You would be doing him a great dishonor and he could swear you as his enemy. He has a right to avenge his friend and liege."
Lance wasn't sure if he'd have to knock White out too like he had Brayden before coming here. It was a good thing that the centaur's charging the fissure woman grabbed their attention next. It showed White that he didn't need to leap in. Lance had removed his hand then from White' shoulder as he, too, watched the progression of the battle. The centaur was much stronger than what he had shown earlier. After what had happened to his friend, a power had come to him in his anger and grief to aid him. Would he prevail?
Darius watched with bated breath as the two finally made impact. Judging by the way the spear poked through the woman's abdomen, Joffrey had managed to impale her and killed her. As it happened, something came flying out of her mouth. The fissure was speeding off right in their direction! There wouldn't be any time to react with the rate it was going! All Brayden could do in response was look on in horror as the creature came right for him.
It all happened so fast, if someone blinked, they would have missed it. A sudden bright light erupted and appeared directly between Brayden and the oncoming fissure. A force field had suddenly appeared that would cause the fissure to bounce off of if it didn't dodge in time.
Standing there, holding up this force field, was a figure clad in the armor that they had all seen in the room of ancestry. As Darius looked on with shock, he wondered who the armored figure was. Also, it looked like one of their number had suddenly disappeared only for this new figure to appear. Or was it the same person? It couldn't be Lance. This figure had darker locks of blue hair. How did he know this? A strand of the hair was sticking out from the helmet of the figure.
"Well, what have we here? Invasion of the body snatchers again?" the figure spoke, his voice different from Lance's. Brayden, whom had fallen onto his rear end in his surprise with the light, looked up at the figure in shock. Who was this guy?

White reached behind him to grab the kantana on his back. The fissure was coming right at them! But the creature moved fast. Too fast for them to even react in time. White had known the creatures were quick. But this one was far quicker then he had remembered. His hand had barley gotten to the handle when the enemy was upon them. Would any of them be able to stop it?
The fissure was practically upon Brayden when a figure stood in its way. Where once Lance had been standing was now somebody White had never seen before. Whoever this was, they had bounced the oncoming fissure back as it hit a bright light. White wasted no time as the enemy lay on the ground temporarily stunned. Already halfway in between drawing his weapon, White drew it out the rest of the way and sliced the enemy in half.
Disappearing in a puff of smoke as it was custom too. White glanced finally over back to the newcomer who had just arrived. He had no idea if this man was friend or foe. He lifted his weapon and pointed it at the newcomer.
"Who are you?" He asked.
----------------------------
Mr. Thomas watched everything happen as it did. He had been sharing what was happening with Arya as things occurred. She was busy healing others and was heading this way. She knew that the centaur had won, and that the keyblade hero was dead. Neither of them had the chance to meet either before, but they had heard the story from both White and Darius in Wonderland. It was a shame to see a hero go.
Watching the end of the battle, Mr. Thomas knew that if Sir Joffery survived this he would need healing help. For that reason Arya was headed this way. When the fissure came towards them, Mr. Thomas was in the same situation as White. He could not do anything but try and draw his weapon. It seemed though that neither of them had to worry. A newcomer suddenly appeared.
While White was busy killing the fissure, Mr. Thomas couldn't stop starring at this new person. Something about the man itched the back of his mind. He swore he had seen him somewhere before. But Mr. Thomas didn't know how that could be possible. Yet he couldn't stop staring.

Unknown to the group, Lance was actually still there. The problem with that though was the fact that he wasn't himself. In fact, another being had projected himself using Lance as a means to form a stable and solid looking figure. When the fissure had darted for Brayden, the new arrival had suddenly taken over Lance's body to block the creature's lunge. No one else would've been able to move fast enough to intercept it and so the new being had taken matters into his own hands. Lance's body, it was a body that was rare. He hadn't been able to appear in one of his descendants before to do something like this. In fact, it sort of felt good to live if only for a little bit.
Once White had walked over to the creature when it bounced off the force field, the figure had lowered his hands and allowed the magical barrier to die out. No weapons were in his hands to speak of but he was clad in the armor from back in the room of ancestry. Darius remembered looking at it when he had first entered the large building back in the Wilder estate.
The figure made no move when White turned on him and pointed his weapon. All he did was look upon him and smile. "You don't need to worry. I'm a friend."
As the figure said this, Brayden finally recovered from the shock of what had almost happened to himself. Getting back onto his feet, he didn't bother to brush himself off before coming around to better look at this figure clad in armor. At first, he had thought Lance had somehow summoned the armor. However, when he saw who it was, he hadn't been expecting this and couldn't help but look on in shock. "Y-You-!" Brayden exclaimed, not really sure how to speak as the figure merely grinned over at him.
"Yes, it's me...Rowen Wilder. You're ancestral father that began this whole family of your's." Brayden looked like he had just been hit by a tidal wave before glancing all around for Lance. Lance admired their ancestor and was always looking into more information about him. It was a sad coincidence that Lance didn't appear to be here at the given moment. As if sensing Brayden's thoughts, Rowen chuckled.
"Don't worry, your cousin's still here. I had to use his body temporarily to project myself to do what I just did to save you." As he spoke, he glanced over at the others in the group. His gaze lingered on Mr. Thomas for a moment. There was something about him that looked familiar. He didn't look like a threat though right now so Rowen just guessed it was a coincidence. Turning his attention back onto the others, he spoke.
"My time here is limited but I've just awakened the energy in your cousin to use powers that were lying dormant within him. He is able to summon this armor you see me wearing right now. You and Lance are the only two that have it in you to use these powers, Brayden. Your's will awaken soon as well. I just wanted to inform you that things are to pass that will require your assistance. After all, those of us that have already passed on wouldn't want for our family to be killed off..." he trailed off. He looked like he was beginning to lose solid form. The armor remained solid but it were as if he was slowly beginning to fade away on them.
"My time's almost up. Anyways, before I go, you should know that the dwarf Reg is actually Red and that he was a teenager, not a dwarf. He's not exactly happy with me on the other side since Alan and Red Wilder seemed to have forgotten to tell their children the real story." He gave a sheepish laugh at that.
Darius blinked at the entity, pretty dumbstruck right now. He would have turned to go and help Joffrey already but the appearance of this entity made him wonder if there was something important to be said. Apparently, he had but could there be more that he needed to hear before doing anything else? After all, if the dead returned for a moment to speak with you, they had something important to say but it seemed all he had to say was for Brayden and Lance.
Just as his thoughts had been pondering that, Rowen turned to look over at Darius and White. "You've a very rough road ahead of you. There will be things that will test your character. As long as you remain true to yourselves and the values you hold dear, you will prevail. Know that your enemy is cunning and will not hesitate to do anything in their power to harm you should they find you to be a threat. Be careful."

Mr. Thomas listened to the conversation. He could hear Arya in the back of his mind, heading down the street and over towards them, and she tried to look into his mind as well. But unknowing to Mr. Thomas, his mind had blocked hers off. He simply stared at the "spirit" for that was what the man had called himself. Apparently he was using the teen's body to protect Brayden. o He spoke of more things, but they were all pretty much lost to Mr. Thomas. He was too busy staring and trying to remember just where he had seen this person before. How would he know someone who had died 200 years ago. It made no sense. Why did he know a member of the Wilder family? Did he know the Wilder family?
A sudden vision, that had been locked in his mind by wards placed upon his memories, slipped through the cracks. It was the image of a vast wasteland. He was surrounded by heartless and to his side were individuals he had never seen before. A younger boy, no more then sixteen with red hair, slashed at the heartless with a keyblade. Three others in armor similiar to the one this spirit now wore were fighting with various weapons as well. A female, was next to him, preventing an enemy from getting to him. Mr. Thomas looked down at his frail old hands. Was he that old?
A sudden shout though, made Mr. Thomas turn, and there he saw the spirit, in real flesh, calling out to him, telling him to hurry as they fleed. And like that the vision ended. Mr. Thomas was rubbing his head his eyes close as if he had a headache. It was at about that time that the spirit turned to White and Darius.
----------------------
White was pretty amazed by the ancestor. Who knew that the dead could come and inhabit the living. White could tell that this was someone very important to Brayden and seeing that it was his original ancestor he could understand why. When Rowen turned to them and instructed them about the road ahead, White found his head slightly dropping. It didn't sound like things were going to get any easier.
"I will try my best." He told him. White had some questions he would have liked to ask, but it seemed like the spirit didn't have much time. Maybe if he ever appeared again White could ask those questions. For now he just watched silently.

Brayden definitely knew Rowen was someone important. He was just amazed how the spirit of his ancestor had managed to appear before them. He had no idea that a spirit could project themselves through the bodies of the living. Yet, it still left him with the impression that only a select few, the spirit could do this with. It even sounded like the spirit couldn't do this for very long either. It must've took a considerable amount of energy or the owner of the body could be winning back control over their body or a mixture of both. It wasn't easy to tell since Rowen hadn't enlightened them.
Hearing White's response, Rowen gave them all a smile. "Cheer up, things will be tough but you've gotta keep your eye on the goal. Anyone can achieve what their heart is set on so long as they keep that drive going. It's what kept me, my brother, my friends and my wife going."
Brayden and Darius pretty much just nodded, sort of mesmerized by the entity. Neither of them spoke as the appearance of Rowen began to fade. Turning to look over at them one last time, Rowen gave them a wink. "Continue to make us proud, you three!" he said before finally disappearing altogether. He had left behind the armor and adorned in it was Lance, whom bent to his knees then as if he had just ran a marathon as he breathed.
"H-How the hell?!" he exclaimed in between breaths. Lance had apparently been aware that his body then had been taken over for a little bit by his ancestor. The fact that it happened had disturbed him a little. What if it happened again? Surely, his ancestor meant him no harm but the fact the spirit could come through him at any time without his consent bothered him. Brayden walked over to his cousin and placed a hand on his shoulder for support.
"You gonna be okay, Lance?" he questioned him. Lance nodded before finally regaining his self composure and standing up to look back over at the others.
Darius finally recovered from the oddity. "Well, looks like you've...well, whatever he did, you've got more powers to you." Darius looked over at White then. "What did he mean by 'us'? Still, guess we should keep his advice. I don't think not listening to a spirit would be a bad idea." With that, he finally turned to where Mr. Thomas was. The elf had been quiet throughout the procession and he looked bothered.
"...Are you alright, Mr. Thomas?" he asked him. While he was doing that, Lance and Brayden made their way over to the centaur. Neither of them had healing abilities but they would try to help him in what ways that they could until Arya got there.

"...Are you alright, Mr. Thomas?" As Darius asked this for a moment a very strange complexion overcame Mr. Thomas. His eyes suddenly held a deeper wisdom, his mouth curled up into a grin. Some muscles on his face tightened while others relaxed. It gave his face a slightly different shape for just a moment. As the light hit his face one might have guessed that Mr. Thomas looked very different for just that moment.
But it lasted only for a moment, before the muscles retreated back, his eyes lost that wisdom, and his mouth moved back into a normal expression. One could even say that it was just the light playing tricks on the mind if they had happened to look at Mr. Thomas for that brief moment. Mr. Thomas reluctantly nodded. "I'll be alright Darius. I just have a splitting headache all of a sudden."
While Darius was focused on Mr. Thomas, Lance and Brayden heading over towards the fallen centaur, White took a moment to go over to the dead Lady Silvia. She had risked her life to help the people of this town. Looking at the bullet hole in her head, White felt a deep anger rising in him. Another person had fallen to the assassins of that Committee. How many more had to die before they were stopped?
White bent down and picked up the dead body. He didn't care about the blood, holding her in both arms. "Guys we have a problem." Looking up, White spotted Arya hovered over Sir Joffery next to Lance and Brayden. Carrying Lady Silvia with him he walked over to meet her. When everyone had gathered round, she spoke again.
"This centaur is beyond my magic. If anyone might be able to save him, we'd find them back at the estate. His injuries are more internal then outer and because of that I am not able to use my healing magic to just right what is wrong. He's going to be heavy, but we need to get him there and the sooner the better."
White would not be able to help with Sir Joffery since he was carrying the body. He wasn't going to leave her here. "Let's get going then. We have no time to waste."
