Yukiko opened her eyes as she appeared in a world she didn't recognize. She looked around to see she was in some kind of forest. Her eyes scanned the area, trying to recognize this world, or find someone else that could say where she was. But she then happened to look up at the sky. The beautiful colours of twilight were spread across the horizon, and it captivated her. Yukiko then closed her eyes, opening her senses to enemies such as heartless or nobodies. But she didn't notice anything of the sort nearby. She then decided since the atmosphere was so lonely and peaceful, she'd have a little fun. Closing her eyes, she hend out both her hands to summon something. When she opened them up, a cheery wood violin and bow laid in her grasp. She smiled, seeing this familiar sight. Yukiko then rest the violin by her neck and raised the bow to it. She then spoke to herself, saying,"Hmm, let's see... oh, Ave Maria! I'm pretty sure that was the last song I was learning. It's been two years, lets see how rusty I've become...". Yukiko then held the bow to the strings of the violin and began to play the soft melody. The sound echoed through the forest where she was as she played, the sound coming out as being precise and harmonic. She followed the song with no mistakes as she closed her eyes, absorbing herself into the music she was creating. (For those of you who don't know the song Ave Maria, here's a video from a musical anime: www.youtube.com/watch?v=5gFa7FuvyXs )

Yukiko continued to stand there, eyes closed, playing the soft melody on her violin. She continued to stick with the harmonic rhythm up to the very end. She finished the song and then gently lifted the bow off the strings of her insturment. She opened her eyes, looking at the violin again. She then smiled and said to herself,"Wow, that was fantastic! Heh, I've still got the knack!".
She smiled after congratulating herself on a job well done. Suddenly, a strange feeling came over her. She held both the bow and the violin at her sides and scanned the area again, looking all around her. She didn't see anything, or anyone for that matter. Even still, she coudln't get over the feeling that someone was watching her from a hidden location. She then clsoed her eyes, opening her senses more.
She then turned in the direction she guessed something was, and opened her eyes, still not seeing anyone. But then, she disappeared. She reappeared behind a fur-covered figure wearing white clothes. She grabbed him by the shoulder, spinning him around so she could see his face. Getting a look at both his face and his eyes, she said,"Wait, Tan'? Heh, didn't think I'd see you here!".

"Yuki!" is what she heard from Tan' and a large smile swept across his face. Yukiko smiled herself and said,"Heh, that's good, you remember me!". She laughed a bit to herself, happy to see such a familiar face. Since he was the first real humaniod she had met, it wasn't easy to forget him. She then said,"Sorry for sneaking up on you like that, I thought I was being stalked by an enemy or something. I'm really glad it's you!".
She then remembered the question that had come over her before and decided now to be the time to ask. She looked at Tan' and said,"Hey, by chance, do you know what world this is? I just got here a little while ago, myself, I'm not really sure what this place is called...". Yukiko then remembered something else. She looked down at the cheery wood violin and bow she had grasped in her left hand.
She looked back up at Tan' and said,"Oh, did you come here because you heard me playing? It's been about two years, so I decided to give my skills a quick test run. What did you think?". Yukiko was now all ears, really wanting to hear a good critique of her music since she hadn't played in so long. Though maybe she did make a few mistakes and just didn't catch them while she was playing... but she waited to hear his reply.

"Ohh, I think this place is called the Twilight Town" is what Tan' said and she pondered this for a moment. Yukiko then looked up at the sky and said,"Twilight Town... yea, that makes sense...". She then looked back at Tan as his furry ears perked up and his smile grew even bigger. He then told her,"It was wonderful!". A grin of her own spread across Yukiko's face, so happy to hear that. She then smiled and said,"Thank you, I played from the heart!".
She then pulled her violin up, resting it in both hands, the bow laid next to it. She then said,"I learned how to play when I was younger, but ever since I started traveling to other worlds and fighting even more, I haven't gotten the chance to practise. This place is so peaceful... figured I could try playing again. This and fighting were my favourite things to do as a kid... curriculum combat, of course".
She then smiled, looking back up at Tan. She then looked up at the sky again and said,"You've seen it already, right? Isn't the sky beautiful like this...?". She then stood there, captivated by the sight once again. She then came up with a fun idea. She looked back at Tan' and said,"Hey, just for fun, wanna hear another song? I could use the practise, and since you liked the last one, maybe you won't mind listening again?".

Yukiko smiled as Tan' had looked back at her with an enthusiastic look about him. He then said,"Oh, play! I want to hear". Yukiko smiled, looking up at Tan'. She then said,"Heh, okay! Then I'll be sure to not disappoint you!". She smield even bigger, turning around to walk a few steps in that direction. She then turned back around to face Tan, still holding her violin and bow together. She then raised her violin and rested it on her shoulder. She raised her bow above the strings and stopped. In her mind, she thought,"Okay, now what to play, something easy yet beautiful... oh, I've got it! Canon in D major!". She then smiled a bit, but then closed her eyes. Her smerk disappeared as the bow touched the strings. She then began to play her cherry wood violin, following the notes she had been taught before. She remembered while learnign this song that the original melody only consisted of eight notes. After playing that simple part of the songs, she decided to wing it a bit. She added a bit more to give it a better feel, the music still seeming to harmonically spill out of her insturment like a ocean wave lapping over the shoreline. Her eyes remained closed as she fell in a trance, playing this beautiful song. (Heh, here's the song if you wanna hear, kind of a short version: [ www.youtube.com/watch?v=0X4JuIn6ffc ] wait 2 reply, I invited someone else to join the thread)

Yukiko continued to play her song on the violin, keeping the same rhythm and harmonic energy with every stroke of her bow. Unfortunatley, the song came to an end, and after the last movement, she lifted the bow away from the strings and brought her arm down. She then slowly opened her eyes and smiled, saying,"Heh, nailed it!". Just then, her senses now fully awake, she turned to see yet another familiar face.
"Wait, Kurosaki?". She could tell he was there and laughed a bit before saying,"Heh, making a habit out of eavesdropping, are we?". Yukiko then laughed a bit before saying,"No problem, only joking. Oh, before I forget, Kurosaki, this is Tan'chu, Tan' for short. And this is Kurosaki, we have a habit of running into each other almost everywhere". She smiled, her midn taking her to a few flashbacks of the many worlds where she would eventually find her blonde friend.
She then brought her violin down off her shoulder, holding it to down by her side. Her smile then grew emmensley and said,"Guess you don't know everything about me yet, Kurosaki. Anyway, what did you guys think of the song, was it any good?".

"That was a beautiful song Yukiko" said Kurosaki, his eyes seeming to sparkle, looking like the music was still in his mind. She blushed a bit, not expecting much of a compliment. He continued by saying,"It sounded so perfect like you'd been playing the violin for all of your life". Yukiko continued to smile, her face still a bit pink when she said,"Um, for about twelve years, so basically my whole life, yes".
Kurosaki then said,"You know though, you said I don't know everything about you, but I bet yah don't know everything about me yet either!". Kuroskai, and Yukiko laughed with him. She then said,"That's probably true, but I look foward to getting to know all my friends alot better!". She smiled sweetly again, happy for the compliment and the laughter Kurosaki brought with him.
She then looked over to Tan' and said,"So, what did you think? Did you like it too?". She waited eagarly for a responce, hoping it was a good one. She hadn't really recieved many compliments on her music before, so both of them saying such things was a pelasant change for her.

"Oh, I love it!". Yukiko's eyes widened with a smiel again and she said,"Really?! Oh, that's great! I haven't been complimented on my music in so long, it's such a refreshing change. Thank you both!". Her hapiness definitly made the moment worthwile for her, not to mention the break from constant fighting was itself heaven on earth. She smiled and said,"I'm glad to see you both, too. The peacefull aura's really nice, eh?".
Just then, Yukiko remembered something. Her expression turned to nromal and she looekd over at Kurosaki. A certain 'acessory' of his seemed to be missing, and it peaked her interest. She then said,"Oh, hey, Kurosaki, where's your other half exactly? It's odd seeing you without him around nowadays, am I right?". She laughed a bit, sicne she was refering to his best friend, Ryou.
