Jacob hadn't trained against anything bigger than him in ages. It was a glaring hole in his preparations, too. All the Heartless he'd run into lately were human-sized or smaller. What if he ran into something massive and nasty on his travels? He'd have to be able to handle it. That's what brought him to Olympus today. There was always something going on, and today was no different. In fact, in a few hours there'd be a match with two Behemoth-type Heartless. Of course, there was a roadblock. There always had to be one. This time, it was the rules of the match. Rather, it was the rule that had been instated when the satyr, Phil, had gotten a look at him.
Sorry, kid, but these things would flatten you like a pancake. If you come back with a tag partner I might not feel so bad about letting you compete, but if it's just you, two words; ain't gonna happen.
No amount of pointing out that that had, in fact, been three words was going to get Jacob into that match. No dice whatsoever. Instead, he set out into the town at the base of the mountain, a place called Thebes. Sophisticated plans would take to long, so he just sort of... walked around the streets, yelling. "Hey! Anyone wanna tag team a pair of Behemoths?" Someone in this town was sure to be crazy enough to say "yes"... right?

Jennifer wandered the streets of Thebes with no clear destination in mind. After spending the week stuck on Radiant Garden with her brother she was just happy to be somewhere different for a change. Of course, it wasn't like she was new to this world either. Even now, two years after she had left, people were still talking about the Angelic Archer, her nickname back when she was a competitor. Still, it appeared that enough time had passed that she wasn't recognized by many common folk without her distinctive armor.
The dull roar of the town was abruptly shattered when a young man came into sight shouting something about Behemoths. Interested, Jennifer quickly changed direction to intercept him. This could be the perfect chance to let loose a little. The man didn't look like much, to be honest, but there was something familiar about that aura of power he gave off. "Nobody around here is going to take you up on that, after seeing one of those things in the Hades Cup." She grinned mischievously and continued after a moment's pause. "Luckily for you, I'm not from around here anymore. Name's Jennifer; you can call me that or Ziya. I'll meet you back at the Colosseum in an hour, so go tell Phil that your teaming up with Ziya, the Angelic Archer. He'll know who I am."
