Amaya was a little surprised that her grandparents had prepared so much. From what they had said, they had prepared it knowing that Arin and Amaya would be setting out on a tough journey with a grim goal to accomplish. Being here at home, it made Amaya feel good. It would have been better if she could bring her sister back here again and Asami be well and no longer possessed. Unfortunately, that was not to be the case. Still, it was good to be back home.
As she had seated herself, Amaya filled up her plate. Half mindedly, she glanced over at Arin. He had stuffed his plate to almost overflowing. He did some sort of prayer before digging in. Amaya recognized the language but she didn't use it really. Her grandparents had always spoken to Amaya and Asami in English. It looked as though Arin had said grace in the language of her grandparents. Arin really seemed enthusiastic about the meal. Amaya couldn't blame him, really. Even she hadn't gotten to sit down and enjoy a meal like this for a long time. Of course, not nearly as long as Arin. Amaya had been gone for just a year and a half.
"Arin..." Amaya spoke his name. If he looked over at her, she would indicate wiping away at the eye where he had the tear falling from by wiping at her own. "You're tearing," she told him in a tone so that Ai and Seto couldn't hear. Once that was done, Amaya would resume eating. It would be a while yet before the meal would end and Amaya would have them digest a bit before thinking of heading out.
"So...you will be heading out again..." It had been Ai to speak and Amaya nodded. The air had gotten somber. "Well, you be careful, you two. I am not sure what is so powerful to take over those four...but whatever it is obviously can't be good. I am sure it will try to play every trick in the book. You might be best to fight them by picking them off, one by one." Amaya gave a nod at this.
"Yes, grandma, that's what I plan to do." Ai gave a nod in response to this.
"If you ever find yourself despairing about the things you need to do..." Ai trailed off before pulling out a rolled up piece of paper and rolling it across the table toward Amaya. "Read that, child. It has helped even myself go through tough times." Seto's eyebrows rose.
"Ah, is that the paper I had written to you about what you had told me about the Dragoon Warriors? What a Dragoon Warrior is all about?" Seto questioned Ai and she merely nodded. It would be a way for Amaya to be reminded of the things she needs to do being a Dragoon Warrior while also helping her feel somewhat close to home in her heart since it would be her grandfather's writing.
"Um...thank you," Amaya said before Seto got up and walked around the table to hand Arin and Amaya each what looked to be a Potion of sorts. "You're going to need these while you're out there fighting. Someone's bound to get injured. Just make sure not to get hurt too badly. We would like to see you two again." With that, Seto turned and headed out of the room.
"Seto is getting you two each a small pack we've put provisions in for the time being. So you won't have to worry about much while out there. Munny is also provided in case you need to buy anything that you need, especially you, sonny." Ai had directed that over at Arin. "A keyblade is ever changing, aside from being alive, I won't be surprised if you need a keychain for it before long." As Ai said this, Seto returned and gave each a pack. They were small packs but heavy with food and other items inside that they would be able to carry.
"I um...wow, thanks grandma and grandpa. This will help us greatly."
"No need to thank us. We are your family, it should be expected. Now, run along you two. Be careful and be strong. We will be here when everything is said and done." Amaya furrowed her brows and gave a nod before taking the potion and packing it into the small pack she had been given. Arin had his own. Amaya got to her feet and the looked over at Arin.
"Are you ready?" While Arin was getting prepared, Amaya made her way around the table and embraced each of her grandparents. "I'll see you two soon. Goodbye for now, grandma and grandpa. I will...bring Asami and the others back home." Ai and Seto nodded at that. Now that she was ready, Amaya headed out of the house and out onto the street as she waved at her grandparents in farewell. Now, it was just Arin and Amaya again. That had been hard, telling her grandparents about the others. Still, it was a bit of a good thing that Arin had pushed her into coming here. "Um...Arin? ...Thanks...for making me come here..." she told him. Still, there were others here on Earthsea that didn't know about the others getting possessed and what she had to do. Amaya had a feeling that they would only try to stop her. Not everyone was like her grandparents, after all.

Arin looked over at Amaya in mid chew, wiping his eye with one hand and nodding in gratitude for someone pointing that out. He tried to be a bit slower while he ate now, even though half of the food he put on his plate was already gone.
Now Ai and Seto were both exchanging words with Amaya, and he watched them talk in peace, without adding any input of his own. It would probably be a long time before Arin and Amaya returned to this world, at least not until one of the corrupt Dragoon warriors was brought down. When Seto handed him a potion, he was thankfully not eating anything at the time, and he could thank them properly. "Thank you, Mr. Fukui."
When Seto left the room, Ai was explaining that he was preparing a pack for both of them, with all the necessities. Then, she turned her attention to him, and his keyblade. According to her, it was always changing, and if he needed to buy a keychain for it, there was munny in the bags should he need them. Looking at his open hand, he summoned forth his keyblade, looking at the keychain below the hand-guard "Well…I do have two others, but they mostly only boost my attacks when using magic, or when I can infuse light or dark aura into them. I suppose more options would be a good thing to have…Thank you."
It had been a long time since someone had been this generous to him, and a soft smile grew on his face as he looked down at the potion in his hand. Eyes closed, he was silent for the longest time, until Amaya tried to get his attention, asking if he was ready to go "Huh? Oh…Yeah, let's go." Stuffing the potion into his pack, he got to his feet, and stood beside Amaya while she bid her grandparents farewell.
Bowing in respect when Amaya was finished saying goodbye, it was time he did the same "Thank you again for your hospitality, it was more than I could have asked for after only knowing you for a day. Farewell, Mr. Fukui, Mrs. Fukui." He then followed Amaya out of the house, and into the street.
Arin was stuck in his own thoughts as he walked with Amaya, but he snapped out of his trance when she spoke to him, thanking him for making her return to her home world. "…I figured it was the right thing to do. It wouldn't be fair to the previous Dragoon warriors if something happened to their successors and they didn't hear about it…Besides, they're your grandparents, you saw how worried your grandma was yesterday, right?"

Amaya could tell Arin seemed to be lost in thought over something. Was it the generosity of her grandparents? Had he been that mistreated out on the road? Or was he just lost in the past? There wasn't any real way to tell unless Arin said that himself. She wouldn't pry since it was his business. Besides, it might be best to let him be and not remind him of the time he had lost or his home.
When she spoke to him, once again he was lost in thought and only just pulled out of it to respond to what she was saying. According to him, Arin had figured that it had been the right thing to do to come here. She gave a nod at what Arin had said. The word will certainly spread. Ai will tell the previous Dragoon Warriors about their successors and then the news will go down the line to others associated with the possessed Dragoon Warriors.
"Yeah...I uh, don't plan on spending that much time away from home again. I would have been home if I hadn't been busy looking for a cure."
Amaya was speaking the truth. She wouldn't have been out and about if not for what happened. She didn't exactly interact much like her sister, Asami, did. Asami was always the one pulling Amaya everywhere so that she actually went out of the house and did things. If Asami didn't bother, Amaya would be cooped up at home like a hermit who did nothing but train every day. Asami was also the reason why Amaya acted more like a girl than the tomboy she could have been. Amaya was a tomboy still but not as heavily as she would have been.
"Word will spread here in Earthsea and everyone that should know about what we'll be doing will know." Amaya was glad they would be away during that time. There was no telling who might try to stop them from doing it. "In a sense, it's a good thing we don't have to tell all those associated. Not everyone will agree with what we're going to be doing."
As they walked, Amaya peered over at Arin. He seemed haunted. "Are you alright, Arin?" Amaya finally asked him. There was concern on her face. "If there's something bothering you, you can tell me." It was best to ask him now so that he didn't hesitate if they were attacked. Troubling thoughts were known to cause the troubled minded ones injury when an enemy surprise attacked them. Why? Well, it made them easier targets to attack.

"You did what any friend or sister would do in your situation, you searched for anything that could save them, refusing to accept what had to be done until you exhausted everything else." Arin nodded in agreement when Amaya started talking about word spreading, and how it was a good thing that they weren't the ones to tell the others "I'd imagine that some of them might want to try and stop us. I just hope that your grandparents only tell the former Dragoons the truth about what happened to the others, I'd hate for you to have people in your world who would wish willfully of you upon your return…"
Then, the inevitable happened. Amaya asked if something was bothering him, and was offering to listen to anything he wanted to talk about "…I think coming here did more good for you, than it did for me, Amaya…" He looked at the ground, watching his feet as they stepped along the dirt road "…Walking into your grandparents' home…It reminded me of my home…A world trapped in darkness that I probably will never be able to return to…"
He raised his head and chuckled, a sad aura in his gaze as he smiled weakly "…It's funny…I'm sad, and yet…Being here somewhat comforts me…Like I've regained what I thought was long lost…"

Amaya looked over at Arin as he explained that she did everything in her situation that any friend or family member would have done. She had exhausted all other methods to try and find a cure before accepting the fact that she had to put the others out of their misery. She gave a nod. Yes, she had done all of that. It hadn't been easy and she couldn't allow herself to return home until she had investigated the issue and found the answer to the problem. That's why she wouldn't let herself return home since she saw everything else as a distraction that only got in the way. Arin had even seen a taste of what she had to go through like with the library they had gone through.
"My grandmother isn't the sort to lie or sugar coat something. She will tell them, I'm sure. Unfortunately, I think there will be those that hate me for it...such as Asami's boyfriend." Amaya shook her head at that. How her sister ended up dating that guy she would never know. He was a jerk and Ai had bombarded the heck out of him and chased him out of the home. Of course, Amaya was careful to not tell Arin that detail. It was embarrassing enough that Ai had asked him those questions when they first got here.
When Amaya asked Arin if anything was bothering him, he told her that he thought her return was more so good for her than it was him. Looking at him more fully, she could see that he had lowered his gaze onto the ground or his feet as they walked along the dirt road. Going into her home had reminded him of his home. No wonder he seemed so lost in thought there. Arin's home was still trapped in darkness and he believed that he'd never be able to return to it.
"I'm sorry, Arin."
There was a chuckle as he raised his head and a weak smile before he said that he was sad and yet comforted at the same time. It felt like he had regained what he had lost a long time ago. "Arin, if you'd like, once all of this is said and done and you've trained, we can go and try to revive your world. If not...well, I'm sure Earthsea would welcome you." Amaya gave a nod at that before they finally reached the other end of town that they had come from prior.
"Well, here we are and it's time to go..." Amaya trailed off as she turned around and looked back at her home with a bit of a morose look on her face. When will she see it again? Would she ever see it again? There was no telling but Amaya knew they had to go. Holding out a hand for Arin to take, Amaya spoke. "Here goes nothing. I think they'll now be on my case if they haven't picked up on where I am yet. So, off to another world!" With that, they would leave this place in the blink of an eye.
(OOC: Let me know which world you'd rather they appear in next. Also, would you like to start the next one?)

"Yeah, well if he tries to blame you for what happened to them, I'll slug him good and set him straight!" Arin brought his arm up, hand balled into a fist and gripping his bicep confidently. He lowered his arm again only a few seconds later.
When Amaya offered to help bring his world back, he shook his head "I don't think there's any saving my world…I returned to it once, and found that it had become something completely different. The Keyblade Master's castle was deformed and trapped in nothing but darkness. I escaped there after reliving memories from my past, but I almost didn't make it." He sighed heavily "…It would take an army of keyblade warriors to come close to reviving my world, and even then, I don't know what to do about the castle…I think it's time I just bury the past, and try to live for the future."
He followed Amaya to the other end of town, and she offered her hand for him to take, saying it was time to go. He had to agree. With how long they've been on this world, it was a miracle that the others, or worse yet, his evil double, hadn't found this world. "Yeah, I'd rather my doppelgänger not find this world, it's too peaceful here to allow that to happen."
He took Amaya's hand, and smiled at her "Lead the way, partner!" They then whisked away from Earthsea, to their next destination.
