"Target is approaching." The mechanical computerized voice spoke from somewhere inside the panel of the galactic gummy ship. With a cloaking device attached to the ship, there was no evidence of its existence as it flew through the galaxy. If one could see the ship, they would see something much more high tech than your average gummi ship. The technology used to create the Starfox. Fashioned with X wings, a pointed cockpit, boosters, and lazers. The ship's shields were strong enough that they could take several hits with asteroids before they went down.
The Starfox was officially the property of the Zestra government, the governing official and rulers of the gigantic space station in an entirely separate universe. But no one really knew about that. "No point in thinking about Zetra anymore." Delta reminded herself. Her father's words echoed in her head at that moment. 'This is it... They've decided they can't do it anymore. If you refuse to obey orders there going to terminate you. I've tried and tried to tell you, but you wouldn't listen Je... er Delta. Don't you get it! There going to...'
Delta shook the words out of her head. She needed to focus on what was ahead. She was running out of fuel, and this planet looked promising. The Starfox ran off of clay. It converted the substance into fuel. When the planet had arrived on her radar she had tested its components. It seemed to have quite a large supply of clay. She would just land there, let the ship do its thing, then get going.
"But where am I going?" That was a good question... She hadn't figured that out exactly. The only answer she really had was away. She needed to get away. They'd search for her, she was quite certain of that.
Glancing out the front window, she spotted the world. It was a blue world, something she had never seen before. She wondered what made it so blue? "Computer, full scan initiate." She told the Starfox.
"90% H20, 40% Al2Si2O5, 5% C6H10O5..." The computer went on, but Delta stopped listening. Forty percent clay, that was what it said. Ninety percent water though?! How the heck was she supposed to find all the clay in that?!
Gazing at the engine fluid levels, she knew there wasn't much choice. She could track down another world, but there wouldn't be time. She wouldn't make it. Well there was nothing much else she could do, as she came upon the world she steered the Starfox into orbit. Any star gazers might see the small burst of flame of entering the atmosphere, but with the cloaking device up, it would be hard to see any ship.
As she entered into the planet's sky the first thing she noticed was the water. "Well damn!" She exclaimed! All she could see was endless water! Where was the damn clay?! Water would be a problem for Delta. Being mostly mechanical and all, while water wouldn't kill her something like an ocean could cause serious problems. Water messed with her circuits. Caused things to act out of place. Made life hell of a lot more difficult! "Ha what am I kidding?! I don't have a life anyway." A very true thought if there ever was one. She was a cyborg. She didn't breathe, didn't eat. She could feel, sense, smell, the technology used to create her body allowed her to do that. Heck her skin was soft to the touch too. But underneath it was all machines. Except for her heart and brain. They hadn't changed that.
"Computer scan for Al2Si2O5." On the screen in front of her patches of the ocean seemed to glow green. In reality they weren't actually glowing, it was just that piece of the window glowing green to indicate clay. And as expected it was all under that water! The ship wouldn't be able to harvest from that! "Computer scan reboot. C5H10O5" The green disappeared and instead a single circle appeared in the center. It wasn't clay, but it was a place to land the ship at least!
"Computer prepare to switch to manual." Taking the handle in her hand she prepared to take over the ship. A beep signaling the command was computed she said, "Computer switch." And like that she was in control of the ship once more. They made it able for her to feel, made it able for her to sense and smell. But they couldn't create a sense of adrenaline. Her body didn't have that capability anymore. There was no feeling of a rush. There was memory of what that was like... Memory from another time...
With control of the ship she headed towards the brown. As she drove through the sky, the brown circle got larger. It even took the shape, an outline of a palm tree. Ha there! She'd land the ship there! Right on what looked like the beach. As she neared the beach and island she had no clue that she was about to enter a place that was inhabited. Destiny Island was home to the people who lived there. She might have known that if she had listened to the full list of molecules scanned by the computer. And truthfully Delta was not a people's person. Not anymore anyway.

Alistair had been sleeping in the inn here at Destiny Islands. It was a nice little place. There was even an island the children went out to. He had half a mind to go and check it out. He had a feeling that he would manage to find what peace and quiet that he was looking for. Granted, this place was already rather quiet but there were still a lot of people here. Enough to annoy him, anyway. He'd never snap at people without a good reason but he did enjoy his alone time.
The night had passed without incident. Iris, his sister, hadn't sent anyone out yet to find him. Even if they tried, they would have one heck of a time trying to find Alistair. He was pretty good at hiding if he needed to. He had learned that early in life when he wanted to escape the responsibilities of the kingdom.
Right now, no one would recognize Alistair. He looked very much like any typical person. Of course, he was an off worlder here but other than that, no one would know he was of royalty. He had a cloak he wore over what little armor that he wore and the paint on the side of his neck was gone. Alistair had removed it prior to coming here. He could always apply it again at another time.
His white hair and pointed ears were the only things that could give him away if anyone actually knew him. For the moment, he seemed to be in the green. There didn't look to be anyone from home anywhere nearby. That was a relief. Alistair hated anything pertaining to the kingdom. He would much rather relinquish the throne and responsibilities of being a Prince. It was a lucky thing his sister ruled. Even still, there was always that chance that she could leave it for the sake of that accursed Riley. Alistair couldn't stand his brother-in-law. In fact, he hated him so much that he acted like they weren't related or had any connection whatsoever if anyone were to ever ask him.
Alistair pat the small, white dragon that rested on his left shoulder. This little dragon was his only companion. He was a lesser dragon species but he was still an intelligent being. Alistair relied on him to retrieve things and deliver things. Presently, the pair of them were enjoying their time away from the castle. Alistair decided it would be best to bring the tiny dragon along so as to prevent his absence from being discovered sooner. Ryu would be frantic looking for him and Iris would know in a heartbeat that Alistair was gone. At least for now, no one was the wiser.
After taking a boat to the island, Alistair found himself out there on what looked to be a small beach. It was beautiful, to say the least. Alistair couldn't help but gaze out toward the endless waters. There seemed to be no end to them almost. It reminded him of how small he was in the world.
Then, something happened. A ship made a landing. He had heard it first. The loud whirring it made had alerted Alistair to its approach, making him look upward. He followed its progress with his eyes before it went and landed somewhere. It didn't look anything like any of the ships his family owned so maybe he was still in the green? Never the less, Alistair couldn't help but feel unsure. Maybe he should go and check it out? Sparing a glance at Ryu, whom was resting on his shoulder, Alistair headed to where he had seen the ship land.

Approaching the island, it became clear that the island wasn't vacant. That was just wonderful! There went the nice peaceful get away. Hopefully no one would recognize the ship. As she flew past the island, she brought the ship to the far side. Away from all the huts and homes. She decided to put the ship to land there. Landing wasn't difficult. There was plenty of room on the pretty much vacant beach.
Once the ship had touched ground, Delta decided it would be best to invoke the cloaking device. Make the ship disappear from view. That way no one would see it. Though there was always the chance that someone might have already. Initiating the cloaking device, Delta did not exit the ship. Not yet anyway.
"Computer scan for Al2Si2O5." The computer relayed her command back to her as it initiated a circular scan of the land around her. "Scan complete. Al2Si2O5 found. Coordinates: +02 27 259.98."
Repeating the numbers back to herself she said, "02,27,259.98. Alright. Computer lockdown upon exit. Opening code: 60,Alpha,40." As the computer repeated the signal code after her, Delta stood up and pressed two buttons on the opposite sides of the clear cockpit window. As she pressed the second one, the large clear overhead hatch lifted straight upward. The first thing that Delta felt was the breeze. A warm breeze right off the waterfront.
Standing up and jumping out of the ship, her feet hit ground for the first time in twenty days. Even by light speed travel it had taken her ten days to exit her universe and another ten till she reached this planet. Delta looked very much a human being at glance. Pale skin, long blond hair, and green emerald eyes. She stood at slightly above average height, five feet seven inches. Her body was muscular, but also busty as well. She was twenty four years old, and didn't look a day over twenty one. Dressed in a plated vest and black tights covered in plated armor, she for sure would not fit in with the locals of the island.
Even though she appeared human with skin soft to the touch and the ability to sense and feel, she was only about 2% of one. Besides her brain and heart, everything else about her was mechanical. Her organs, face, insides, and pretty much everything, ran on energy. If one looked close enough they could see at the nape of her neck a single boxed slit into the apparent skin. She could physically lift that up and connect herself to the ship or a computer and charge her internal battery. Which of course used the ships power, and thus cost her more fuel. Currently she was at sixty percent. It would last her about a week before she'd need a recharge.
There would be time for that later though. She needed to find the Al2Si2O5 and bring it back to the ship. She had the coordinates, now she just had to follow her internal compass. Walking across the beach, she headed towards the line of trees. On the other side of those trees was the town and front of the island she had passed on her way. Hopefully though she'd not have to run into any of the locals. She prayed that she wouldn't have to, anyway.
Entering the tree line, she was unaware of the moving shadows behind her. There was more to this island then humans. Sooner or later should would find out.

Alistair went toward where he had been certain that the ship had landed. It was a strange make, to say the least. He had not seen anything like it. Maybe it was from a world he had never seen before? That certainly made him curious. Alistair liked to travel the worlds if he could but he didn't get to often. He was always being dragged back home, sometimes by the ear because of his sister being upset with him when she, herself, came out to get him.
When Alistair had come to where the ship had been, it was gone. Wait a minute, it couldn't be! He had just seen the thing lower to the ground! It had to have landed around here somewhere! Alistair looked back and forth along the beach but found nothing. He had no idea that it was currently cloaked in plain sight. There was nothing to indicate that it had been there, however.
It wasn't until someone came out when he realized that the ship that had landed had to have become invisible. Alistair furrowed his brows in wonder as he watched what looked to be a woman step out of what looked to be nowhere. Surely, it couldn't be teleportation. A portal would have opened up or something else would have given an indication of it, right? Alistair had to rub his eyes before looking at the figure more properly. Nope, he wasn't imagining it. There really was someone that had appeared but it looked as if she hadn't noticed him.
As Alistair watched her, he didn't know what to make of her. In his eyes, she clearly appeared to be human...just not the sort where he was from. The humans where Alistair came from were known to live for a very long time. Alistair looked to be in his late teenage years but was actually ninety six years of age. The thought occurred to him that he could follow her, at least for a short while to see what she was about at the very least. Once his curiosity was quenched, he could move on. Shrugging, Alistair did. It didn't occur to him that he might come off as either hostile or a stalker.

Not realizing that a certain person was following her, well not yet, Delta headed through the trees. The coordinates were taking her away from the beach, north west in direction. Unfortunately there was no set path through this side of the beach. Or if there was she hadn't seen it. As it was she walked through unfamiliar territory. The trees were not too dense. There was enough to cause the light from the sun above to only barley enough to seep through. It was like walking through the woods during the day. Enough light to see by, but nothing like compared to the beach. Not that she probably could feel the heat from the sun anyway. That sort of feeling was lost to her.
Her hearing though worked just fine. In fact it was probably much better than would be most humans her age. Her body made it capable to have the best hearing that a human could possibly have. It did make her hearing a bit sensitive though. It lacked the dulling that noise has on a body over the years. Listening to everything around, she heard the sound of her footsteps, the whistle of the wind blowing the trees, soft chirping sounds of some organism (birds most likely), the flutter of wings, footsteps...
That was odd. Coming to a stop, Delta shut her eyes and listened. That was another set of footsteps she heard! Now Delta is not your type of girl who goes around killing people. Well not anyone who hasn't done anything. But she tries to mostly avoid people. The sound of footsteps was alerting. She had no clue as to the beings who inhabbited this island. She also highly doubted they'd be that happy to find her here.
It would be best to hide. Amber quickly jolted to about ten feet to her right, zigzagging between trees. She came up to a tree with a branch low enough that when she was certain she might be out of sight of anyone's view, she leaped up, grabbed a hold of the branch, and swung herself up into the tree. She climbed quickly, going up three more branches until she was about ten feet above ground. The vegetation of the tree hid her somewhat. The good thing about having mostly a mechanical body is that she didn't have muscles that grew sore. Oh she could feel pain, but that usually occurred because of something malfunctioning of breaking. Climbing a tree was a cinch.
She waited, watching patiently to see if anyone was coming. Delta wanted nothing to do with the people here. If she could remain hidden she would. But that did not mean she was afraid to fight. She would if she had too.

Alistair meant no harm to the woman he spotted. He was just following her out of curiosity. It wasn't every day that he saw a ship do something like that. If anything, Alistair liked to venture around the worlds. Whenever he was presented with something interesting, Alistair often did his best to learn about it to an extent. Once he learned, Alistair would move on and maybe even pay a visit to the world the person came from if only to experience it for himself.
Of course, he could just as easily be considered an oddball himself. He had a baby dragon resting on his shoulders, for one. The little dragon was watching where Alistair was going, occasionally cocking his head from time to time. Clearly, he was just as curious about where his master was going and who that person was. He could easily fly over to where the other being was but instinct told the tiny dragon not to for the time being. So, it remained slung about Alistair's shoulders. It knew enough to keep quiet as Alistair followed the girl. At least, she looked like it but something didn't smell right to the tiny dragon.
The woman appeared to be walking toward a more secluded part of the beach. Alistair wondered if it would be wise to walk in this direction. Such areas were more riddled with the Heartless and criminals also liked to hide out this way. Granted, he didn't think this place had many, if at all, but there was always the chance. Maybe he should turn back and forget about it? It might prove less awkward that way too if he was found out. Still, if things turned into a fight, he was very capable in battle. He was a prince, after all. That kind of thing was important for a member of the royal family to know.
Alistair couldn't resist his curiosity though. So, despite what his conscience was telling him, Alistair still followed the figure. He didn't realize that already, she suspected someone was following her by then. He didn't see and couldn't have seen her do what she just did to get out of the line of sight.
Thus, she would likely see him first before he saw her as he came to the area she would be hiding above him by now in. "Hm, maybe we should turn back, eh buddy?" Alistair stated, reaching up and stroking the tiny dragon's head. The dragon extended his neck a bit to better enjoy the petting but he seemed aware of something. The creature was looking upward, able to smell her. What was she doing? Was she about to attack? The little dragon let out a slight growl, resting on Alistair's shoulders making him take pause.
"What is it?" Alistair asked the tiny dragon, whom remained on his shoulders.

Delta came from Zestra, a space shuttle created by humans when the world they lived on was destroyed. She was born on that space station, she grew up there. It wasn't until about a year ago that she had ever ventured from that place and into the great unknown that is space. On Zestra there are no pets. Animals, are for breeding and for eating. They are secluded to animal farms where only government officials work.
So it should not be too much of a surprise to find out that Delta had never seen or heard of a dragon before. Waiting in that tree, she watched a stranger approach. He was a younger man with pointy ears. Was he human? She couldn't necessarily tell exactly. He seemed human, but she had never heard of a human with ears like those. Were all those on the island like this one.
Watching him, she noticed the strange creature on his shoulder. Never having so much as seen a lizard before, she didn't know what to make of the thing. It seemed vicious and quite ugly with a small scaly slender body. It's head was small and circular. What was it?!
As the stranger closed the distance, Delta watched as he paused near the tree she stood in. He had not noticed her, but the thing on his shoulder did. Delta had been hoping to avoid a fight, but she did not like the look that odd creature was giving her. She might be mostly a machine, but she knew when something was growling at her.
Delta was faced with a decision. Attack now? Or act defensively and wait? Her brain would have told her the second. She did not know if this man was friend or foe. He could very well have nothing to do with her. However Delta's thinking was more along the lines with the old her. The rebellious teenager who punched first and reeped the consequences later.
Leaping out of the tree, Delta's left arm had undergone a transformation on the way down. It had transformed from pale to midnight black in color. Her face was a mask, avoid of expression as she leaped about five feet away from the stranger. She landed like a cat, on all fours. Slowly rising, she gained her first look at the stranger, face to face. Would she attack? Would she wait? Only seconds later would tell.

The dragon could sense there was something and it had growled in warning. It normally didn't attack anyone. It really couldn't anyway given the fact that it was still just a baby. Even still, any creature fought back when its life was in danger. It became rigid, sticking close to Alistair's neck as much as possible, watching the trees. It couldn't see her directly but it knew the general area that she was in.
Alistair, confused, tried to calm the baby dragon. However, by now, he knew something was amiss. This little dragon was more intelligent than what it appeared to be. It just couldn't communicate like a human could or the other dragon species.
Then, there was a crashing sound. The sound of something leaving the trees to land on the ground. The whole thing had startled the baby dragon. It immediately let out an angry snarl before darting up into the air and then diving into the confines of Alistair's shirt in fear. It trembled.
Of course, the whole thing had caused even Alistair to give a start. With the dragon suddenly diving into the back of his shirt, seeking refuge there all of a sudden and the loud noise, Alistair had lost his balance in his surprise. He fell not very gracefully onto his rump. Thankfully, the sand was soft to save his rear from an unpleasant plop.
When he recovered from the fall, he grumbled at the baby dragon for worsening the situation. "Ryo, you little bugger!" he stated in a low tone of voice before looking at what had caused the dragon to startle. It was that woman from before. The two of them were now face-to-face. Alistair wasn't sure what to make of her. Was she thinking of attacking him? If she did, he couldn't blame her for doing so. He did, very much, seem like a creeper following her out here by himself with his pet dragon.
All Alistair could do right now was look up at her in surprise. "Umm...uh oh. Uh...hi?" he said, uncertainly. Maybe this had the potential to not turn into a fight? He didn't know without talking to this person first.

Standing, Delta watched the "young man". Well he looked young from his facial features. Pointy ears, peach colored skin, white shaggy hair, and a very feminine looking face. Not knowing if this was friend or foe, she was tempted to move forward and attack. That was until the young humanoid fell back on his arse. The little creature on his shoulder had disappeared. Where though, she didn't know. The dragon had ran into the back of Alistair's jacked at about the same time that Delta had risen from the ground. She watched them both very carefully. She didn't move, but her eyes never left the two of them. When the man spoke, Delta couldn't understand a word he said. He spoke a language she never heard before. Was he telling that creature to attack her? When he turned and looked at her, Delta found herself shifting so that she was no longer facing him with her front exposed. Instead she had shifted so that she was standing with her shoulder facing him, for any experienced fighter they might recognize it as a stance more equipped to being ready to be attacked. She had not fallen into an attacking or defending stance. Her back remained straight and she did not necessarily move, except to take a step back so that she could stay in this position but still look at the stranger. When he said something to her though, she didn't know what to say. She had no clue what he was trying to tell her. Her eyes narrowed slightly as she tried to study him. He was still sitting on his arse. Perhaps he was not trying to attack her? She said nothing though. Staying silent she didn't know what to do. His demeanor did not hint at aggression. Not only that but he wasn't really even in a position to attack her. Perhaps she had over reacted? There was no evidence to suggest that the humanoid might harm her, but would he let her go? That was a whole different matter. Still studying him and that lizard, whose head had popped out from behind the jacket he wore, her eyes picked up movement in the corner of her vision. Looking behind him she saw it. A charging shadow rushing right towards the humaoid's back. Now back on Zestra, heartless didn't really exist. There was no world heart on Zestra, so there was nothing to attract them there. It hadn't been till Delta had first entered another planet that she had run into heartless. Working for the Zestra government, she used to go on transport missions, trading for minerals and materials and bringing them back to Zestra. Often her role had been to protect the officials who she accompanied on these missions. So it was that when the shadow appeared she recognized it. Those shadows only meant one thing: heartless! Delta moved, and she moved quickly. It was an instinctual reaction. What poor Alistair would see though is a charging Delta, looking very battle ready. She ran right towards him, her mouth tight and her eyes locked on her target. As she neared him though she leaped over him. As the heartless appeared from the ground behind him, she came down from the top. She punched with her left arm, bringing the weapon down onto the heartless. The result was not only the destruction of the heartless but the sound of her fist punching and making a small two feet crater as well. Delta's left hand was her weapon. She had the ability to change it's shape and properties to better suit whatever it was that she was fighting. Currently it was in a sort of brawler mode. Her pitch black left arm contrasted with her pale skin. Additionally it was about as powerful as an iron hammer, able to do things like create a small crater in the ground from the velocity of the impact and strength she put behind the punch. The heartless had been about two feet behind Alistair. Slowly standing back up, Delta stood with her back to Alistair. Her eyes locked on the three shadows that were rising from the ground in front of her. Behind her, thus in front of Alistair, three more pure heartless rose from the ground, there small circular heads and yellow eyes locked on the humanoid and dragon. Delta did speak then, though her words were in a different language. "The darkness it comes." She told him. -------------- While Delta and Alistair found themselves faced with heartless on Destiny Island, another ship traveled through space. It was a ship very similar to the one Delta had rode in on. An X Fighter, the black and purple ship had X wings, a diamond shaped body, boosters, rockets, and of course the Zestra government logo on it. Traveling through the solar system, the ship was far off from the Zestra mothership. But it was equipped fully with triple fuel supply. As the ship traveled past many a worlds, the computer voiced. "Now, t-minus two hours until target contact. Booting target 535 as requested." As it was commanded, the computer sent the wake up signal through its system. It traveled through the mainframe, across the cords, and into the pilot chair where Zero slept. Having programmed a waking boot when reached a certain point, the computer was doing exactly that. So it was that the yellow glowing dots flicked on. Sitting in the pilot chair was Zero. At first glance Zero looked one hundred percent pure robotic. With arms, hands, legs, torso, neck, and head made entirely of metal plates, mechanical parts, and cybernetic technology, only the roughly humanoid figure it created made it look remotely human. Its head was oval shapped with two small spikes coming out of the side of its forehead. The front of its head made it look exactly like a metal version of a human skull with hollowed out eyes, a pointed nose, and a mouth that was made of teeth but not lips. Zero awoke for the first time in what was probably months. Reaching up, he pulled the computer link that connected the ship to the square opening in the back of his neck. "Computer," He said. Like Delta his voice sounded like any normal humans. His voice was whimsical, and mid-range. "I believe you have a message for me." The computer responded. "Initiating message." The sound of the click brought about a holographic screen to portray in the air in front of him. Zero recognized General Isgard almost immediately. He was a man in his mid forties, with short cut black hair. Buff and muscular, he wore the stereotypical military uniform. "Listen up you maggot!" He said. "Your mission is the retrieval of one Jessica Zymph also known as Project Delta. Project Delta has gone awall. We want her brought back dead or alive. And listen up you criminal! This is a mission straight from on top. She is one of you, one of the prototypes. Mess ups will not be tolerated. You finish this right, and they promise me to not only lift your sentence by a third but also some of those things you wanted. Get this done and bring the little shit back." With that the hologram disappeared. So it seemed Zero had a new mission. And this one was a fun one. "T minus one hour and fifty minutes till target." An hour and fifty minutes until they reached her. That wasn't long at all! Zero sat in his chair, and even though he couldn't smile physically anymore he was feeling a rush of adrenaline and contempt. This was going to be fun! Perhaps it would even be a challenge. He had never gone after a prototype before! Sitting in his chair he began to sing a merry song as he waited. "Down, down, down they go. Rip them apart and take their soul!"

Alistair wasn't sure if moving right now would be a bright idea. The other's stance suggested that she wasn't sure of him. Thus, he remained right where he was. The less threatening he appeared, the better. Granted, Alistair could easily fend for himself but he would much rather avoid a fight if he could. When he spoke to her, he had waited for a response. However, it didn't seem like she was willing to respond or was it that she didn't understand him? There seemed to be a trace of confusion on her face. It equally confused Alistair.
There was a very long, awkward silence where neither of them moved. It had been the girl, finally, to make the first move. She slowly turned and seemed to take on a sort of protective stance but one that wasn't quite in a threatening, battle stance just yet. All the while, she had kept her eyes set on Alistair and said nothing. Maybe she didn't really know what he was saying? Maybe she wasn't able to speak?
"Um...can you...understand me? Can you...talk?" Alistair attempted again, remaining rooted to the spot lest his movements made her assume he was threatening her. Once again, there wasn't any response.
Then, the woman started to rush at him looking like she were about to attack. Alistair threw up his arms to protect his face and rolled to the side to avoid what he thought was an attack. When he recovered from the roll to see where the woman had gone, he soon realized that he hadn't been her original target. Although, she had left a rather obvious crater in the ground where she had landed her attack. Alistair couldn't help but gape. Clearly, there was more to this woman than what met the eyes. Her arm, too, wasn't normal. It was a different color. In fact, it looked metallic. What was she?
Then, Heartless came out of the ground. There was a total of three of them. Well, that explained it. Alistair pushed himself up onto his feet with Ryu, his dragon, still hiding in his jacket. As he stood there, he heard the woman speak. Whatever she was saying, he couldn't understand since her language was different. Well, at least now he knew that she could talk but it was in a different language. That explained everything. The reason why she hadn't said anything in response was because she couldn't understand nor speak his language.
"Ah, Heartless. Pesky little critters." Alistair got into a battle ready stance but not directed at the girl. His attention was focused on the Heartless. Hopefully, she'd understand that he wasn't a foe in this fight.

Heartless, nasty creatures if there ever were ones. Dark pitch black bodies, clawed hands, yellow beady eyes, sharp teeth, but relatively small in size. Given their size, one might very easily take them for weak little things. On their own they weren't that much of a difficulty, but if you got a group of them together they could easily cause someone trouble. A pack of six of them appeared. Three in front of Delta, the other three facing Alistair. He was saying something, but his words remained uncertain to Delta. She couldn't understand that weird language of his. She understood this situation though. It was pretty clear these heartless wanted one thing: their hearts!
They all attacked at once, perhaps thinking that their odds were better with numbers. As one leaped towards Delta, she sacked the little creature with a fist full of metal. Punching the thing with her metal fist she sent it crashing backwards. At the same time one of the heartless flanked her right side while the second attacked head on. The nice thing about being made mostly of metal parts is that your body it a bit stronger and more resistant to drawback from punching and kicking and such.
Stretching out her right leg in a forward kick, she knocked the heartless flanking her to the right. She then turned her attention to the heartless in front of her. Her attack on the other heartless had allowed for the charging heartless to get close enough to her that it attempted to sweep her away with a slash of its claws. Delta was just regaining her footing when she felt its claws scratch her leg.
If there was one thing she wish her creators had not installed in her was the ability to feel pain. In order for her to feel and touch that meant that she could also feel pain. The little creature had done a number on her left leg, leaving three slash marks on her hip. Cursing, Delta lashed out with her fist, socking the enemy in the jaw with a powerful downward pound. With the force she put behind it, added from a jolt of pain and anger, it caused a crater in the ground below it. The three heartless she had faced though were now gone.
Turning she'd see how the humanoid fared in his battle.

Alistair examined the Heartless that faced them. There were six of them. There were three Heartless to each person there. Alistair knew these were weak Heartless but when in a pack, these things could get rather pesky. Alistair unsheathed his Dual Blades. These were the only things that could give him away to those that didn't personally know him. His swords had a unique opal coloring and design. If he wore his crown, it would be all the more obvious as to who he was. Thankfully, no one he knew was around to find him or figure this out and drag him back to the kingdom. Not yet, anyway.
Even if Alistair appeared to be someone that didn't get their hands dirty, he was definitely not that sort. In fact, he knew how to fight very well. He wasn't just some pretty face. Ryu, on the other hand, remained hidden. The baby dragon refused to come out.
Then, the creatures attacked. Alistair reacted by slicing one in two that had been the first to leap. It dispersed in a cloud of dark smoke. Then, the other two made to dart at him at the same time on either side of him. Alistair reacted by jumping upward and kicking them with each foot on the corresponding side the Heartless had been on, knocking them backward. When he did that, Alistair went for the one on the left and stabbed it in the head. It went away in a cloud of smoke. Now, there had just been one creature left.
Alistair went for the remaining Heartless as it got back to its feet. As it blinked at him, Alistair was already upon it, cleaving its head off.
"Whew, there we go! Little buggers!" Alistair stated before he looked over his shoulder toward the girl with the strange arm. It looked like she had been looking as well. Carefully, Alistair lowered his blades to show that they were in an at rest position and not meant for anything hostile between them. At least, that's what he hoped. He wasn't sure how this girl was going to react since she didn't understand his language and he was fairly certain that he didn't understand her's either.
"I know this might not prove fruitful but...you alright?"

More words were spoken. And unfortunately, Delta had no clue what they meant. Alistair had taken care of his enemies promptly. He held two weapons, one in each hand. The weapon he held was something Delta had never seen before. She was not accustomed to blades, which is what Alistair was using. Her eyes were locked on them, a curious expression on her face as she wondered just how the weapon worked. It looked like the stranger had used them in a way similar to how she used one of her weapons.
Eyes leaving the weapons, they rested on Alistair. He didn't seem like a threat as she had first thought. He had defeated some of the heartless even. He asked her something then, but she couldn't understand him. What could she say? She shrugged her shoulders hopefully informing him that she could not understand what he was saying. Perhaps she should say her name.
Arm transforming from the pitch black back to its pale color, she tapped her chest with her finger and said, "Delta." She repeated the action and the words once more before pointing at him. She wondered if he would give her, his name. Delta was attempting to make up for the rough sort of introduction they had. She had scared that strange creature of his, and startled him as well.
Truly, Delta really didn't want anything to do with him, but she needed to get past him. Maybe if he saw she was nice she could be on her way. She had come here for a specific reason after all.

(OOC: Sorry this took me a while!)
When Alistair had spoken, he didn't really expect her to respond. She seemed confused and then shrugged her shoulders. The expression on her face told him that she didn't understand him at all. After a moment, she spoke. When she did, it was one word. Alistair actually understood what that word was but why was she speaking it? Did it have some meaning?
As he had wondered that, he had seen her tap her chest with her finger. Did she mean that was her name? Her name was Delta? What kind of a name was that? He didn't know what Delta was. She repeated it again, this time, he knew for certain that she was speaking of herself. Her name was Delta. Next, she pointed at him. It looked like she was asking him what his name was.
Alistair mimicked what she did earlier, tapping his chest with a finger. "Alistair!" he told her. As he said this, Ryu peeked his tiny head out to peer over at Delta. When Alistair noticed the tiny dragon, he pointed at him and said "Ryu!"
