"Hmmm..."
The old man, with his long silver hair gathered up into a single ponytail, put the end of his walking stick back down on the ground and pulled himself back up from his crouch. "A floating island..." He mused, staring out into the purple clouds below. There was at least a decent amount of ambient light in the area, and it played over him, shining on his diamond-like horn, carved into a spiral as it angled upwards from his forehead, and lighting up his billowy, white robe... revealing his lack of a left arm. The walking stick he clung too was made out of a pale amber wood and capped with a whitish metal, the carving of a fallen star at the top. "This world is... dangerous. We should be very careful while we're here, Tryna."
Tryna, leaning against the large rock in the middle of their stone island, smirked, one hand idly flipping her long white braid. Her piercing gold eyes swept out across the empty void, noting smaller islands scattered around. "Every world we go to is dangerous." She stood up straight, pushing her braid back over her shoulders to let it fall down her back. As she walked towards him, she brushed off the long-sleeved dress she wore, taking care to clear out the gold pattern edging the deep purple cloth. "Besides, this world looks covered in darkness. If that's all we have to face..." She grinned at the old man as he turned to look at her. "...then you can relax, Eagan. I can blast through darkness without a problem, remember?"
Eagan's lips turned up in a wry smile. "True enough. But..." He turned back, looking back down at the purple clouds. "...I can't shake the feeling that we are not alone here..."
