”Not sure what you’re planning, but that shouldn’t be a problem.” Grinning from beneath his hood, the Vagabond watched as Evia made quick work of leaping into the boat that lay suspended in the air near the wrap around bridge. Easy enough! Even without the aid of his powers, the vagrant was able to easily run and jump into the boat himself, thankful for the outstretched hand as he hoisted himself into the suspended vehicle. ”I remember everything…” Sitting up after having tumbled in, the Vagabond noticed the seemingly unconscious person already residing in the boat. Who’s—? Just as the hooded man wondered about the identity of the sleeping man, he jolted as he noticed the illusion of the jungle around them waver, even though only a brief moment. Again…?! Wait, had that happened before? Shaking the fogginess from his head, the Vagabond pushed himself to his feet as they stood in the boat. ”I’m no longer burdened by the castle’s magic. He’s the target,”
Rubbing at the back of his hooded head with a gloved hand, the Vagabond eyed the man on the boat floor for a moment. That’s right…she was looking for someone. So, this was who they were after? ”No wonder you’re so lively.” Gesturing to the woman’s drying tears, his shrouded face had a musing smirk lingering on it. ”Right. I needed your help, wanderer. And thank you, for providing it,” Waving a hand dismissively, the Vagabond shook his head and gave a short shrug in response. ”I didn’t really do anything, though.” He was merely after what he came to find, that was all. The woman had proved to be a wonderful ally to him, a welcome Bodyguard during the voyage ahead. Truthfully, the whole relationship had seemed rather one-sided, not that the Vagabond was above using such methods to obtain what he needed.
”Oww my head, where the heck—“ As the stranger stirred, the hooded vagrant’s gaze shifted to the Jungle expanding all around and below them. Perched up high in the air above most tree tops, the trio would have an excellent view from the boat. ”Gale Fernin; I’m Evia Korhurst and this is—“ Not offering a name of his own, the Vagabond simply nodded and gave a brief wave as introduction. ”Alright. Wanderer, I’m assuming you had a way down from here, yes?” Perking up a bit, the vagrant had a grin forming, not that either of the other two would be able to see it. "Indeed! Hang on tight, the both of you.”
Waiting only a short moment for Evia and her ‘target’ to prepare themselves, the hooded man summoned the large Darkside arms from before. As they stretched above and grabbed at the rope tethering the boat to the pulley, the Vagabond grabbed onto the side of the ship with all his might. Snack! Breaking through the coiled rope, the large arms were quick to shove off from the nearby walk around porch, able to breach the distance with ease as it propelled them sideways and down. ”Here we go!” With a shout and a lurch, the trio in the boat soared through the open sky, the large Darkside arms protruding from the man sheltering them as they hurtled through the treetops and THUDDED! and SLAMMED into the branches below.
It worked! Thudding and jarring against the side of the boat he clutched, the Vagabond hurtled through the jungle treetops in the small boat, which was currently sliding along the thick branches with surprising speed. ”Urk! Bumpier than I thought…” Jostling left and right as he gripped the wood, the hooded man was controlling their trajectory with the large Heartless arms protruding from his back, ensuring that they didn’t careen over the branches edge. That being said, the path itself wasn’t always clear.
Though the Vagabond was able to lift and move the boat when needed, for some of the lower hanging branches, he’d need some extra hands. ”Bodyguard! Care to trim those leaves?” Though he couldn’t gesture with his normal arms, he did so with the large dark ones he possessed. ”Don't worry~ I’ll make sure you don’t spill overboard.” Despite the chaotic strategy, it seemed to be working, so far. One way or another, it seemed the trio would manage to get to the Jungle, somehow…

Ah, that's right. This guy was a dark mutant of some kind with a terrifying ability to spawn those grotesque limbs. Despite being in sight of it once before, it wasn't any easier to behold the second time either. Plus, if a combat-veteran like Evia was still this bothered one could only imagine what the distraught victim must be feeling.
"HOLY--"
Then her friend snapped the cables and dislodged them entirely from the landing the boat used to be secured too. Wait, this was his plan!? "Hey, something this dangerous would've been nice to-- oh, whoa! whoa!!" She wanted to finish that thought, but the need to keep balance took over her brain entirely and turns any words she tried to say into gasps of excitement.
They were outta there! Cruising the forest in style, to say the least. Evia hit the dick and braced the victim for landing. She wanted to maximize both of their chances for survival, since apparently the idea not everyone had gigantic mutant arms for protecting themselves was lost on the person who sent them spiraling into a chaotic ride in the first place. Definitely will have to address that one later.
Seemed the boat was stabilizing after the initial launch which was a feat in of itself, it wasn't going to stay that way forever. Her friend instructed her to try and 'trim those leaves' and giving a vague gesture. Not sure what he was asking for exactly. "...What?" She shouted back. With a peek out into the horizon... well, it became more clear, and the situation became more grim. She'd shoot the wanderer an anxious glare.
"Well, I don't have any way to cut from a distance really! By the time it needed to be done, I think it'd already be--"
...Too late.
She cut herself off when she saw it in his eyes. Whatever he wanted her to accomplish, it seemed like it was too much to ask.

Jolting back and forth, braced by their hands pressed against each side of the small paddle boat careening through the jungle tree branches, the Vagabond watched the world pass him by at speeds he could never reach himself. Blurs of greens, yellows and earthy browns rushed past him as though a flood, a near weightlessness consuming him between harsh bumps against wood. ”What?” Evia’s shout reminded him of the coming branches that hung a bit too low in their path, threatening to THWAP! unwary standing parties in the face. Lower ones jutted out as well further ahead, threatening for a bumpy ride. ”Well, I don’t have any way to cut from a distance really!” Grimacing from beneath the confines of his hood, the vagrant realized that perhaps the warrior he’d been relying on wasn’t as quick with the arsenal of weapons she seemed to have at her disposal as he’d hoped. ”No—I mean when they’re close en—“ Oh, but they were close enough—and then far too close!
Thwap! Thwap! THWAP! Overgrown and hanging branches whipped against the large muscular dark arms that protruded from the Vagabond’s back as he braced himself for impact. With the speed in which they were hurtling through the forest, as well as the stronger appendages being used to block the brunt of it, the otherwise normal man’s grip was torn from him with blood and splinters as he felt himself whip out of the boat at a spinning and dizzying pace. ”Woah!” Hurtling through treetops, the hooded vagrant was thrown from the rowboat barreling down the branches, which thudded and bumped with every branch it rode over. If Evia and their target were low enough in the boat, they should be able to avoid getting knocked off…otherwise…well, they’d be following the Vagabond—
Of which, currently blacked out from both a more than likely concussion as well as pure dizziness from barreling through the air free-fall style into a jungle.
Evia would find the ride ending with a rather unforgiving CRASH as the boat exploded and splintered into pieces upon impact with the jungle floor. In the middle of a thicket, the warrior would notice herself surrounded by thin trees clustered together so tightly it was nearly impossible to see through them. Laying in a clearing, surrounded by splintered bits of wood, her and her target would be the only people in sight. All that accompanied them was a small trunk in the center of the clearing. Whoosh! Correction, a small trunk and a few Heartless, in the clearing. Shadows, PowerWilds and Wyverns began to encroach from the thick forestry, their yellow eyes thirsty for the hearts they sensed. The Vagabond was nowhere in sight
