Neku walked through the area, of what seemed to be a dark plaza. Following along was Mei, still making use of an Illusion body. It seemed to hold better than expected, and it gave the couple hope of making ends meet. If they could find where Mei's true body was... Then they would have one less worry after Tori.
"Say... This place gives one hell of a vibe, don't it?" he asked, looking around the dark alley and buildings. "It kinda does... But I'm also getting that really cool vibe, too" Mei said with a smile, "It looks cool, if you think about it. Doesn't it?" "Guess it does..." Neku folded his hands behind his head.
The couple walked around, finding rather odd folks every now and then. All of them reminded of various Halloween costumes... Well, there was the reason for the name "Halloween Town". It kinda made the couple want to join them in a way -dress up with creepy costumes and scaring people. Neku in particular liked the idea of doing that, as it seemed to be a rather fun activity. He was particularly fond of Halloween parties back home. And Mei... Well, she was another case. Easily scared by anything... Although she had grown a bit stronger, once Neku took a good look. She was also more confident about her fighting capabilities, as she'd proven before.
Suddenly, multiple puppets jumped to their encounter -Heartless. Mei shrieked at their sudden apparition, and Neku flinched back, grabbing onto his blade firmly, ready to slash away. But after the two noticed that they didn't even more -and were even fake-, Neku lowered his guard, and reassured Mei about it.
"T-They're fakes... No need to worry, okay?" he said. "Ah... R-Right..." Mei nodded. "Oh, that was not expected in the slightest! I'm very sorry!"
A voice caught their attention, as a large skelleton approached them. Already used to the looks of the people there, the two teens relaxed a bit. It seemed like that sudden jump wasn't planned at all.
"It's alright" Neku shook his head, "But... Was that supposed to happen?" "No, actually... It's been happening a bit too often for my liking, though..." the skelleton replied, "It goes off on its own every now and then... The town itself has been odd lately. And we're so close to Halloween, too..." "You mean..." Mei cupped her hands over her chest, "If it's not an issue... Do you need help?" "Hmm? You two want to help? Well... Considering the look you two have, I guess I can ask you to run a few errands for me... Do you mind investigating about this? Start around the town. I'm sure the others know more than me. Oh, and the name is Jack Skelleton. Pleasure." "I'm Neku, and she's Mei. Nice to meet'cha." "Come on, Neku! Let's get going!" "Yeah, yeah..."
The two then walked around town, looking for rumours and hints that could guide them to a precise clue as for what was happening. Could be the Heartless, could be the Spirits... In any case, Neku and Mei were willing to help around, while also having a bit of fun themselves. Who wouldn't resist the urge of participating in a Halloween party, with costumes, candy and scares?

The man stepped out of the portal and adjusted his tie and brushed some dirt off of his vest. He liked his outfit, so he tried his best to keep it clean. It wasn't anything too extravagant, Just a simple black suit vest, white dress shirt, black tie, slacks, and shoes. It did also happen to be new, so he wanted to try it around. Especially since it was his first time back to the Realm of Light in a few months it's time. However, the world Ombra found himself currently in wasn't too unfamiliar in terms of strange sights. His time with his Heartless friends lent some strange sights in general. The twisted buildings and impossible architecture made him already feel a little homesick. 'C'mon, I literally just left.' His chastisement of himself was a fairly common occurrence, as heartless don't talk and the man spent most of his time around them.
He flipped through his tome for a moment. 'Still only a couple pages have writing.' He had this book since he woke up on that beach and after a few years, it still only had the front and back of its first page filled. He wasn't entirely surprised though. He didn't do much in the way of training. He was happy with what he could do and didn't really feel the need to try and learn anything else.
"Alright, that's enough standing around. I should probably get moving." There was no one around where he was, but he felt that if there were, they would be staring at him. He walked down the path and into the center of town. Ombra didn't know what he was expecting of the townsfolk, but living Halloween costumes wasn't it. He wandered the town, not focusing on anything and trying to see everything. After a few minutes, the man bumped into a rather dapper looking skeleton. "Oh, hello there! Didn't see you there. My mind is elsewhere at the moment." That was a statement Ombra could relate to. Everything was so new and yet so familiar, it was going to take a little while to get used to it. "Anyway, I haven't seen you before. Welcome to Halloween Town." The skeleton let the last sentence out with a grandiose sweeping of his hands. 'That explains the odd appearances of the townsfolk.'
"Um, thank you." Ombra played with the cuffs of his shirt. Social interactions were not something the man was good at. "You said you were lost in thought, is everything ok?" He regretted the question as soon as it left his lips, but if something was wrong, he wanted to help. "Oh, nothing too terribly important. It's just that the new decorations have been going off at random a lot more than what would be acceptable." It didn't sound like much, but the skeleton sounded so distraught. "I could take a look if that's ok mister?" "Skellington. Jack Skellington. And thank you so much. Truth be told, you aren't the first person to offer that." It was an interesting thought. Ombra figured some of the townsfolk offered to help. "Alright, then this should be quick." He walked over to what looked like decorations. "This one, right?"
After a nod from the skeleton, he walked over, only to see a bunch of fake heartless. 'These guys? Scary?" The thought was so foreign to him. He knew these things all his life, and sure they could be rowdy but, scary? Ombra shrugged, he couldn't control what other people thought. 'He said others offered to help, maybe I should try to find them. They may know more.'

As asked to do, Neku and Mei went around asking people about the things happening around. It didn't seem like things moving out of nowhere were the only issues there, as the townsfolk stated to have seen things dissapear right in front of their eyes -even people- to never see them again. While the thought itself wasn't exactly pleasant to consider, Mei had a feeling she knew what was going on... But without any solid evidence or leads, it was mere guessing at that time.
Sighing, Neku took a seat in one of the many stairs nearby, looking at the twilit sky with not really much looking forward to that journey. Sitting besides him, Mei looked somewhat concerned. Just what was he thinking about now?
"Neku?" she asked. "...It's nothing. Don't worry 'bout it" Neku shook his head, "More importantly... We oughta figure out what's goin' on, right?" "R-Right... But the townspeople don't seem to know any more than what we managed to gather..." "Man... I wish Luneth was here. He'd be perfect for this scavenger's hunt..." "Hee hee... He sure would. It'd be handy to be with a Stalker here, that's for sure..." Mei giggled.
Neku pulled himself back up, a bit more cheerful. It was one of his things, really, to just cheer up immediately after hearing Mei's laugh. Especially after so long... It was refreshing. He held his hand towards her, inviting her to continue on their search. Now that they had a bit of knowledge about their surroundings, they could explore outside the town. And that's exactly what they wanted. They went through the Square Plaza to head to what the townsfolk pointed out to be the Graveyard. While the name wasn't inviting at all, did they have a shot?
"Ah... Neku" Mei pointed out, stopping in her tracks, "We... Never asked that person, did we?" she asked. "Hmm?" Neku glanced over to where Mei pointed. A man in suit was standing there, definitely not there before, "You're right... He wasn't here before, was he?" "I don't think he was..." "..." Neku glared a bit, frowning, "Let me at 'im. Don't worry, I won't pick a fight." "I'm going with you, anyways..." Mei said with a bit of unease.
The two headed over to where the man was standing, not that far from the Heartless' puppets. He was observing them... Neku wondered who this guy was. He definitely wasn't from that world, that was guaranteed. But then, where did he come from? He couldn't let his guard down. And knowing that, Mei simply sighed, shaking her head, much to Neku's shock.
"W-What?!" he asked. "You're always like that, aren't you...?" Mei kept shaking her head, "If you're that uneasy about him, then let me do the talking." "Guh..."
Mei took a few steps ahead of Neku, her hands folded in front of her, cupped to her chest. Taking a deep breath, she tried to catch the man's attention.
"Umm... Excuse me" she said, "Is it possible... That you're not from this town? If so, may I ask you something?"

Ombra stood there, lost in his own head, when the sound of a girls voice caught him off guard."Excuse me, is it possible... That you're not from this town? If so, may I ask you something?" The man turned to see the source of the voice. "Uh, sure..." He wasn't too sure how to respond, reflexively playing with the hem of his sleeve. "But, is it alright if I ask you a question first? You don't seem to be of this world either, have you seen a tall and a rather dapper skeleton?" It' might've been a long shot, but if she knew of other worlds then it was possible that she was the one that the skeleton asked for help.
"I only ask because...well because he asked if I would look into things going wrong around town." The man gestured to the fake Heartless. He had also said that he asked others for help in this too." Ombra folded and unfolded his sleeve again. He felt he was rambling, but he powered through. If he was right, maybe the two of them could figure out what was going on. "Anyway, I'm rambling, and you had a question. So, how can I be of service miss...?"

Mei chuckled a bit, surprised to see that he, too, was aware. While Neku approached them calmly, Mei nodded calmly.
"Seems like I was right then..." she said, "We're the ones that asked to help out. I'm Hanaki Mei, and he's Kirigaya Neku. We're travelling together." "Oi, I can introduce myself, ya know."
Neku caught up to them, frowning, while Mei just chuckled back. Letting it go, he looked at the man with a somewhat suspicious glare, as usual. But he quickly smirked, dismissing that suspicious look in his eyes, and looked more laid back than before.
"You're dressed up awful fancy, huh?" Neku teased, "Ain't that nice? Wearin' somethin' smart for a change..." "Neku..." Mei sighed with a hint of amusement. "In any case, who're you? Would be the least ya can do, right? Especially after Mei here introduced ourselves..." he added, patting Mei's head teasingly, causing her to giggle.

Ombra looked towards the man that was making his way over. "You're dressed up awful fancy, huh?" He looked down at himself, now a little self-conscious of his choice of outfit. "In any case, who're you? The man looked back up at the two, a soft smile adorning his face. "Yes, of course. My manners must have left for a bit. My name is Ombra. A pleasure." He extended a hand to accent his introduction. 'People shake hands, right?'
Ombra fixed the bottom of his vest and readjusted his tie. "Um...Hana, if I can call you that, were you and Kiri, again if that name is ok, able to find out anything? I only just started looking at the decor." He turned his gaze back over to the fake Heartless, is electric yellow eyes examining each individual puppet. "Though, I'm not sure why people would find these guys scary. I mean, sure they can be an energetic bunch, but scary? I don't see it." He shrugged. "Maybe it's because they jump out at you? Sorry, I'm rambling." Ombra turned back to the two next to him. "Do either of you have any ideas on which direction we should take?"

Mei chuckled a bit, and shook his hand. It was odd, but polite at the same time. Neku just stared as Ombra began asking. As soon as he adressed them with their last names, albeit shortened, Mei clasped her hands at the notice of her little mistake, while Neku groaned and scratched the back of his head.
"Oi, names are Mei and Neku, not 'Hana' and 'Kiri'. Those are our last names, not proper names. What, never heard about that?" "Neku, it's fine..." Mei insisted, "Really, no need to get worked up over something like that..."
Neku puffed his cheeks, but let it slide afterwards. As for Mei, she looked back at Ombra, ready to answer his inquiry. While she thought on how to explain it, her gaze went to the Heartless puppets, immobile and just dancing to their own tune through strings. They were rather well-made Replicas of real Heartless, to say the least... But there was also a faint touch of cuteness, too. She had to wonder why...
"Well... As to answer your question..." Mei began to explain, "We've only found so much. Apparently, things moving on their own isn't the only issue the townsfolk deal with. Some have also dissapeared suddenly." "We were gonna check the Graveyard out of the town 'till you crossed up and Mei talked to ya" Neku pointed out, as he pointed with his thumb behind him, "If ya got time, we can use another hand. Can ya fight?" "Neku! We don't know that!" "Never hurts to know, right?"

The man's face turned an ashen scarlet at Neku's remark about their names. "So sorry about that." If he were to tell the truth, Ombra's limited interaction with the Realm of Light and its inhabitants made all social interactions a huge game of trial and error.
"Apparently, things moving on their own isn't the only issue the townsfolk deal with. Some have also disappeared suddenly." The man looked over to Mei. "How odd. I'm amazed the people aren't in more of a panic about something like that." Disappearing people were no joke, even in a world full of Halloween monsters. He looked at his hands self-consciously, his ashen skin staring back at him. 'I might fit in well enough here to live, if I ever get tired of home.'
"We were gonna check the Graveyard out of the town 'till you crossed up and Mei talked to ya. If ya got time, we can use another hand. Can ya fight?" The question caught him off guard. He never fought on his own. Normally, some of his friends would come and he would do his best to keep them safe and unharmed. "Umm...I...I guess you could say I can defend my self. I-if I need too." He fiddled with his sleeves absently. "As to lending you a hand in the graveyard, I would be more than happy to help. Just lead the way."
Three heads would be better than one in this venture, Ombra was sure of it.

Mei nodded, as Neku simply head towards the Graveyard outside the town. She kept Ombra company as they followed Neku outside, not saying much. There was no need for it, either, as she could tell he wasn't used to interactins overall. It was an all too-familiar sensation, one Mei couldn't help but chuckle at with clear unease.
Neku, on the other hand, was a loud one. Once at the Graveyard, and after taking a look around,he looked at the pair as they followed him, and frowned a bit. Nothing odd there, by the looks of it... He turned towards Mei, trying to get some reassurance of the sittuation at hand.
"Hey, Mei? This was the place, right?" he asked, nonchalant. "Umm... Yeah. Why do you ask?" "It's... Hella quiet. Too quiet for my liking." "Being honest... I thought the same thing..."
Neku took one more look, and even went to one of the nearby gravestones. He took a closer look, while Mei left to check somewhere else. There was something around there, but neither teen could point it out. That was, until Neku was tossed back from his inspection by a rather sudden jump. Mei perked up as he heard him shout and the loud thud that followed afterwards. She ran towards him to lend help, as Neku unsheathed his sword.
Grey-ish, animal-like creatures had jumped from behind one of the gravestones. Two looked like wolves, while the other three were bird-like. All of them targetting Mei and Neku, and by an extend, Ombra.
"Spirits..." Mei muttered, as she readied herself for battle. "Well... At least it'll be interesting" Neku said with a smirk, "This means that what we're looking for is nearby, too."
Mei nodded, and grabbed her rapier, while Neku unsheathed his sword. Both teens were determined to end the battle as quickly as it started, regardless if Ombra decided to join.

Ombra followed the two to the Graveyard. He noticed that Mei had decided to walk beside him, possibly to put him at ease after the conversation the three of them had. 'Why are heartless so much easier to be around?' The thought came to him as he was playing with the buttons on his sleeves. He was grateful for the company as they walked, even if he was a little uncomfortable. The man wondered about the dynamic between the two teens. The one in front, Neku, seemed to be the leader while the one next to him, Mei, seemed like a more supportive person. He could be completely wrong, but that was what he saw.
They entered the Graveyard and the two had almost immediately started investigating. Ombra had no idea what to look for, so he opted to look for anything that looked out of place or something that he might see back home. He learned on his first visit to the Realm of Light that ever-changing landscapes and giant Heartless roaming around were not a common occurrence.
He didn't get to look around for long, however, as Neku was launched from a group of tombstones with a shout and a thud. Looking over to see what caused such a commotion Ombra saw something completely new to him. The grey wolves and birds had an otherworldly air about them. While that was something he was used to, this was something different. Something more hostile. He saw the teens ready their weapons for the fight. 'It seems like they know how to handle these things. I hope.' With that, he decided he would focus more on a supportive role. He didn't know many support spells, but he was confident that he could be of some help. 'If it gets to be too much for those two, then I'll call for backup.' He doubted it would come to that.
He joined the other two, tome open and ready.

Mei stood back, just in case Ombra was to be a target. She was a more thoughtful person in that regard, after all, and honestly didn't want him to get hurt due to an inexperience. She left most of the fighting to Neku, who seemed to deal with the Spirits at ease, despite his reckless and somewhat slow movement, which packed a lot of strength behind them.
Neku managed to fend off the two wolves, one of which dissapeared into shards of light after being defeated in battle, and the other remained staggered and taken aback, but the airborne enemies were becoming a nuisance. He clicked his tongue -he hated flying enemies...
"Leave them to me!" Mei shouted as she readied a spell, "Holy!"
The end of her rapier suddenly became bright as Mei drew the sword from behind to then swiftly point at the airborne targets. Bolts of light came crashing down later, immediately defeating one of the enemies, while the others were dazed and unable to move from the violence of the attack. Neku tried to end things quickly, but the wolf Spirit, now recovered, was quick to tackle him back, protecting its allies.
"Tch... Stubborn bastard..." he cursed. "Hmm... This might be a bit more difficult than I thought..." Mei said, "Then again, we don't know much about the Spirits..." "Aside their weak points, I know" Neku rolled his eyes, "Less talkin', more fightin'!"
Mei nodded, getting ready for the on-going battle. She glanced back, finally noticing Ombra's tome. She smiled, relieved.
At least, he was able to defend himself.

Ombra watched as the other two started fighting the Spirits. He was glad to know that he was right in assuming that they knew how to handle these things. He was more than glad to "stay in the shadows" as it were and provide support as needed. 'I may not be able to do much though.' If they could get through the fight quickly, he might be able to provide adequate help.
The man took in the fight, making quick assessments of what "roles" the two were taking in the fight. He figured that Mei was a distance fighter, or at least choosing to do so for the moment, whereas her friend Neku wasn't afraid to rush in head on. 'It doesn't seem like they need help.' He watched as the pair took out two and damaged the rest of the Spirits. It was impressive to see how well a team worked together.
As if on cue, however, Ombra saw Neku be tackled by the remaining wolf. 'Ok, that didn't look too bad. Just in case, though.' He opened his tome and raised his free palm to Neku. "Barrier!" A shell of darkness surrounded Neku for a second and then vanished from sight. "That shield's good for one hit. Be careful." The summary may not have been needed, but it made him feel better.
He returned his focus to the spirits. If they came for any of them he needed to be ready.

"Ah..." Neku looked at the faint shell surrounding him, to then immediately lose it from sight, "...Thanks!" "Seems like things can turn to our favor!" Mei cheered, "Let's end it!"
Neku didn't need to hear it again. Sword in hand firmly, he lunged once more against the Spirits. Mei remained with Ombra, ready in case some Spirits decided to take the upper hand, readying her own rapier besides her. She glanced over towards Ombra with a faint smile.
"So... You do have some tricks up your sleeve, hmm?" she asked, a bit playfully, "I hope I can see them sometime soon..." "Oi, focus Mei!"
Neku managed to get rid of the Wolf-like Spirit, leaving only the two airborne ones. Mei tried to hit them a few times, but missed both attempts. She was barely able to get back out from harm, but it didn't look like they could end things quickly...

Ombra blushed a bit at Mei's comment. Positive responses to what he can do weren't what he was used to, granted that could be said about almost any interaction that wasn't with Heartless. "Yeah, maybe." He couldn't really do much else though, at least not without summoning help.
'Besides, they've got a handle on this.' As if on cue, Neko dispatched the wolf spirit as Mei attempted to do the same with the birds. He kept his eyes on the spirits as Mei failed to hit either of them. 'There has to be something I can do to help aside from standing here and healing one of them if they get hurt.' He looked at his tome. 'Maybe just one could help end this quicker.'
Ombra opened his tome and put a hand to the ground. "I just need one of you." A single shadow melted into being in front of him. He rubbed the shadow's head. "Hey buddy, I need you to help us. I want you to attack the flying things, He pointed to the bird-like spirits. "And NOT the people." The Shadow shivered in response and leaped into action. It launched itself into the air and slashed across one of the bird spirits before melting into the ground and returning to Ombra's feet.

Mei was caught off-guard by the sudden aid, while Neku didn't seem to notice whatsoever. A few quirks of being a Spirit, she assumed... But sensing a Heartless willingly helping them out was odd, to say the least. Yet, if it was Ombra who'd summoned it... Someone who was on their side... It was okay, right?
"Mei, focus!" Neku shouted, sparring against one of the airborne Spirits, which resembled a crow of sorts, "Need some backup here!" "Ah... S-Sorry!"
Mei regained focus on the battle, readying her Apocalypse spell, a burst of energy rising from below the Spirit's feet, to then crash onto it, reducing it to pieces. The last Spirit, also airborne, was caught off-guard by the sudden Heartless, not expecting it to appear, and staggered back. Neku, albeit shocked by the sudden aid, finished the Spirit, ending the battle quickly. But he didn't let his guard down.
"Where'd that Shadow go?!" Neku asked, still with his weapon in hand. "..." Mei looked at Neku, calmly, "I don't think that Heartless was here to fight us..." "...Huh? Then what was it here for?"
Mei looked at Ombra, and Neku was quick to catch into something. If Ombra had anything to do with it... It was best to leave him the explanation.
"Do you mind telling us exactly who, or what, you are? The longer you hide it from us, the more wary we'll grow of you" Mei said, collected, "It's only fair to be open if we'll work together. Neku and I don't plan on keeping secrets from you, after all."

Ombra closed his tome and dismissed the Shadow as the last spirit fell. He was glad to be of some use in the fight, even if he himself didn't do much. He looked over to the other two and noticed how serious they looked. 'Uh-oh. Exactly what I thought.'
"Who or what am I?" He tilted his head, trying to think of how to word his response. "Well...Simply put, I'm a summoner. I summon things to help me fight. It just so happens that the things I summon are Heartless, well, Shadows specifically." He ended the explanation with a small shrug. He wasn't lying, and if they wanted more information then he would do his best to answer their questions.
"They seem to like me and do what I say, so I choose not to question it." He stretched and fixed his vest. "Speaking of questions, what were those things that we just fought? I've never seen them before."

Neku frowned at Ombra's explanation, unlike Mei, who remained calm and unwavering. Just who was he? No one Neku knew could just go and summon Heartless to help them. It just looked too sketchy...
"I honestly could give a damn anymore... But someone who controls Heartless is just outta league" he said, bitter, "It's the same as admitting you're the one behind their attack to begin with." "Neku" Mei said, sharply. "...! Don't tell me...!" "...There are many things we've seen that are far from normal..." Mei explained calmly, "Besides, why not give him the benefit of the doubt? He chose to come along, when he could've easily said against it. And he chose to help us instead of being our enemy. Isn't that enough reason for that?" "...Still..." Neku pouted, looking away.
Mei sighed, knowing it would be difficult to deal with Neku like that, so instead she approached Ombra calmly.
"Sorry about him" she apologized in Neku's stead, "He often looks at things black-and-white... You know? When something bad on his book, anything related to it is just the same."
"What we fought just now... We know them as Spirits" Mei explained, "Being not meant to exist, forever bound to what lies between light and darkness... A force we call 'Twilight'. They have a rather... Unique ability, and that is to manipulate the light and darkness of their surroundings, changing it to whatever it is they wish to percieve, and trapping clueless hearts within, never to be left out."
Mei took a deep breath after that explanation. It was tought to even think about what Spirits were so capable of... But Ombra had been honest with them, so why lie to him then and there? At the very least, Mei trusted him.
"The reason we decided to help out was because we think that the Spirits are behind it. And, after that battle... I'm more than certain they have something to do with this. Of course... You can still back down if they are stronger than your average foe..." Mei finished with an uneasy smile.

Ombra shrugged Neku's judgment of him off. Sure it stung, someone he barely knew filing him into a "bad" category, but he was used to it. Not everyone saw Heartless the way he did, and even less gave him the benefit of the doubt. "It's fine. Really." He played with the hems of his sleeves as he spoke. "Honestly, I don't really understand why I can summon them."
Ombra listened to Mei's explanation. He couldn't help but laugh a little at her offer to back out of helping. "Er, sorry. Didn't mean to laugh. It's just that... well, let's just say I'm not as helpless as I look." They were already skeptical of his summoning, He didn't need them to know that he currently lives in The Realm of Darkness. It would probably make things a lot worse.
"Um, anyway, it seems like you have some information about what's going on?" The man was interested to have a little information about what they could be facing.

Mei shook her head with vigor and a hint of glee. She hadn't meant to underestimate him, but giving the warning felt polite nevertheless. Especially after Neku's comment. But... He'd come around to understand it, right?
"Well... We're mostly clueless about what exactly is going on..." Mei said calmly, "But we think the Spirits are to blame. Especially after seeing someone like you actually working to help those who live here."
Mei then took a few steps around, while Neku, saving his sword back to its sheath, was wary of Ombra's movements. Just as Mei had explained before, Neku had the tendency to see things black and white -whenever something was bad in his eyes, anything that was related to it was the same. Ombra was no exception, even if Mei decided to trust him.
"I guess we just need to look a little longer before drawing any conclusions" Mei assured, "So... Let's keep going, shall we?"
As she finished, Mei made her way to an open gravestone, which led somewhere that they probably had never been to before.

Ombra tilted his head at the "someone like you" remark. 'Probably someone who works with Heartless.' He shrugged and followed Mei to the open grave. It was nice to have someone not immediately hate him, even if it was only one of them.
He looked over to Neku, who seemed to be keeping an eye on him. "Did you find anything?" Ombra felt a little uneasy now that he was near Neku. He wanted to help, but he also didn't want to risk making things worse. He was uncomfortable enough around new people, but one who saw him as "bad" made communicating a lot more difficult. One wrong word and it was over. Ombra tried to watch what he said enough as it was. If he said too much then people would start asking things he didn't want to, or couldn't, answer.
He walked over to the now destroyed grave, hoping to find something that might help the investigation. Alas, he had no idea what he was looking for. 'Either way, any help is a good thing. No matter where it comes from.'
