(( I am open to anything within the rules happening in this thread. Chaos, someone else's plotline, something. I adapt to changing conditions within the realms of roleplay, particularly with this character. Jumping from subject to subject is also an open door. Also I am going to edit this character personality wise based on my better understanding of what war does to people. ))
In the barren stretch of the Keyblade Graveyard, memories rested. Most were of sorrow and darkness, and for a particular visitor, of a new beginning. She stood on the cliff's edge, scanning the horizon for anything. But there was just dust and thousands of keyblades for the time being. She had once appeared here, unable to return to her home. Now this was a trip down memory lane. Things had changed everywhere but here. It was still the same.
Lindy sighed as she watched. She'd heard the tales of this place. Lindy had seen her own war, and continued to be haunted by the things she'd seen. Such devastation, such destruction. Why would anyone want such a thing? Lindy did not get to see the aftermath of her own personal hell, but what was left here could tell Lindy far more than she'd want to know.
A flash of memory came to Lindy's mind and she flinched at it immediately. Those times still were vivid in Lindy's mind, as if they were still happened. She shut her eyes tightly as they reminded her of further horrors.
"Put it to rest..." Lindy muttered to herself. "Let it pass..."

A sudden aura of darkness could be felt nearby as a lone orb formed at the crossroads of a walkway of keyblades. As that orb began to dissipate, it revealed a young man, not even 20 years old yet, laying face down, unconscious. The sun was still hidden behind the cliffs surrounding the valley of keyblades, a light that would wake him if left undisturbed.
(Eh, why not. You'll probably be gone in a few days, but I'll join this thread. just don't go too fast if more people show up, I'll be gone for most of the day until 11PM because of work)

Lindy shuddered as she recognized a feeling of darkness, though she wasn't sure if it similar to what she had fought before. She opened her eyes and scanned the horizon once more. At the crossroads of a path where keyblades did not rest, Lindy spotted a figure lying face down. She hesitated to approach, then sighed, knowing if she ignored it she would think about it and began to climb down the steep cliff. Each step was careful and cautious, she wasn't too fond of falling. A very light wind began to blow, causing dust to brush Lindy's face. About five feet from the ground, Lindy jumped down and landed, knees bent and turned toward the figure. She navigated around the forgotten keyblades and strode toward the figure, who appeared to be a young man. Lindy stopped ten feet from him. Lindy got down on one knee and carefully watched him. The young man was unconscious, older than she.
"Are you... alright?" Lindy asked softly.

The boy groaned and stirred as he heard a girl's voice nearby, forcing himself up with shaky arms and looking at the surrounding area to find he was pulled to a familiar land "…Here again…Why on earth was I dragged from Twilight Town to this place…" He managed to lift his body upright, but only enough to manage standing on one knee, shuddering as he felt the effects of being pulled away suddenly through the dark corridors without the safety of his black coat.
Arin only now was able to register the question that the girl was asking of him, and he looked up at her and nodded "I'll live…Having a physical tolerance to darkness has its advantages…Mind telling me who you are, and why you're in this desolate place?"

Lindy sighed in relief that the other was still among the living. He mentioned a tolerance to darkness, but that wasn't suspicious. Lindy thought about her answer.
"Well, my name is Lindy. I'm here for a little bit of backtracking to where i started. Or at least as far as one can get with backtracking." Said Lindy.
"And what about you? What's your name?" Lindy asked politely. It never hurt to be friendly.

"Well, I guess I could relate in a way, name's Arin." Arin took a deep breath and forced himself to his feet, but immediately felt his legs weaken, and he started falling to his knees again. Out of instinct, he summoned his keyblade, a fusion of gold, black demon wings, and white angelic wings. He used his keyblade as a prop, to keep himself from falling completely, and used it to keep himself on his feet "I guess being dragged from one world to another against my will took more out of me than I thought."

"It's nice to meet you." Said Lindy. She flinched when he started to fall and summoned his keyblade. Lindy jumped up to her feet and almost reached for the sword on her back. Lindy calmed herself as he mentioned getting dragged to a world against his will. Who would do that? And if there was, did that mean a possibility of someone else also being around. Lindy looked around briefly.
"So how did that happen?" Asked Lindy. She found it interesting to have encountered another keyblade wielder here. Then again it seemed there were multiple keyblade wielders out there.

"Hm?" Arin looked at Lindy curiously, until realizing that her attention was focused mostly on the keyblade in his hand "Oh, this? It actually happened in this world, believe it or not. Turns out not all of these keyblades are dead, one had enough life in it to give me my own keyblade. Though it's hardly the weapon I use the most often in a fight, this is just a backup if I'm short on time to grab my other swords." If Lindy were observant of this comment, she'd notice that Arin didn't have any swords physically visible, his keyblade was the only weapon that he had revealed so far.

"Oh." Said Lindy, glancing over the thousands of keyblades briefly. "Actually I meant how did you end up here just now? I didn't see anyone drag you here as far as I know." Lindy said, slightly embarrassed for not specifying what she said. Lindy took note of no sign of other weapons on the young man.
"For me it's my primary weapon. This one back here hasn't seen battle in a year." Lindy spoke gesturing to the sword mounted on her back. She winced as the memory of when Ted had given it to her came vividly to her mind. Lindy shook her head briefly to clear it out of her mind.

Arin listened to her rephrase her question, and make a comment that suggested she was a key bearer as well "Well, my body is kind of…different from most people…From what I gather from my travels, I was once one of those dark creatures that people know as Heartless. My body also changed to that of a Nobody. I don't know who or how, but both of my dark manifestations were destroyed, and I found myself waking up in this world. I can actually travel between worlds by using the same corridors that they use, but I use more lengthy detours to avoid any unwanted encounters…I suppose that darkness awakened within me is why I can use the dark corridors. But while I was exploring a new world, a dark corridor just suddenly opened up beneath me and I found my way here, not sure how it happened."
Deciding to try and change the topic, now that it was explained, he focused his attention more on Lindy now "So you have a keyblade too I'm assuming? Any chance I could see it? It's only fair, considering you've seen mine." Feeling a little better now, he lifted up his keyblade and let it rest on his shoulder, drawing attention to the pauldron on his left shoulder as he lifted the keyblade to rest on his right side.

Lindy listened to his explanation, her expression changing from surprise to wonder to pondering. She figured he wasn't wanting to talk on that too much more when he brought up the keyblade.
"Oh? Why not? Fair's fair." Said Lindy and with this she extended her left hand and summoned her keyblade which had white with gold tinges, a circular guard and a half sun for the teeth of the keyblade. The keychain had a gold sun attatched to it and white leather wrapped about the handle.
"This thing has seen about as much of battle as the rest of these blades out here." Lindy added. She pushed a memory to the back of her mind before it could disrupt her thinking.

Arin was about to ask what Lindy meant, but it seemed she didn't want to talk much about it. He knew plenty about having skeletons in the closet, and chose to ignore it "I'd ask what you meant by that, but it seems like a sensitive subject, so I'll just take your word for it. Maybe we could spar, and test each other's skill sometime?"

"Not as much, if I skimp out on the details." Said Lindy. Perhaps finally saying something would improve things and ease the pain of remembering.
"Maybe, but I haven't sparred for sometime. Big difference between sparring and taking out attackers." Said Lindy. Maybe a spar wouldn't be too bad of an idea either, the more she thought of it. As log as her adrenaline didn't spike suddenly there wouldn't be too much of a problem.

Arin grinned and crossed his arms as Lindy was explaining how it would be easier on her to reminisce, of she didn't get too informative about her past "Well, I think that can wait for another time, the spar as well. Right now, I want to figure out why a dark portal suddenly pops up out of nowhere and warps me back to where I started my second life… I could use some company in this, and from the sounds of it, so do you." Arin let his keyblade fade away fro now, not really needing it at the moment "What do you say, care to help out a complete stranger? I'll be happy to return the favor when I get my answers."

Lindy dismissed her keyblade as she was invited to find out why Arin was sent here. It could be a way to change things for the better, and besides, she couldn't just leave someone to find things out alone.
"Alright, you've got yourself a companion. So where should we head off to first? You know yourself better than I do, for sure and-" Lindy agreed with a smile but then stopped short. She didn't know why she had, there wasn't anything around to attack.
"Sorry, didn't know what I was going to say after that." Said Lindy scratching the back of her head.

Arin raised an eyebrow curiously when Lindy just cut herself off, shrugging when she dismissed it "Maybe your memories are bugging you again, whatever they may be of." After looking around, Arin noticed that he actually recognized this part of the graveyard "Wait a second…I've been here before…There should be a cave somewhere nearby, that's where I got my keyblade wielding power from." Looking around, he spotted a cliffside just a short ways away, pointing in that direction "There! There should be a crack in the stone wall over there. There might be some clues to why I was brought back here" Waiting for a confirmation from Lindy, Arin led the way to the cliffside, where sure enough, a crack in the stone surface resided, large enough to fit a full grown adult at least 6 foot tall and four foot wide.

"Nah, sometimes I forget what I'm going to say." Said Lindy in response. She followed Arin toward the cliffside and stopped when she was to the left of him. She gazed at the large crack in amazement. Lindy figured that she must have missed it the first time her came, which was understandable. She thought it was good she hadn't climbed down there. Lindy looked at him.
"So we're going in right? And should I expect enemies in this cave?" Asked Lindy. It never hurt to be prepared for anything, in Lindy's opinion. She wasn't too sure how far back the cave went either, but she'd let that be a surprise.

Arin pulled out a small handle, focusing on his light aura to make the handle illuminate faintly "Well…The large Heartless that came after me the last time I was here was destroyed, so I doubt Heartless should be too much of an issue with their big boss gone…Still…Can't leave anything up to chance, you might want to have a weapon ready, just in case."
Arin took the lead, the faint glow of the blameless handle giving just enough light to see where he was walking, and a couple feet in front of him "There should be a clearing up ahead with some overhead light...unless the place caved recently." It wasn't too long before the tight crevice opened up and revealed a small grotto, littered with some debris from when the cave first collapsed, and a circular scorch mark on the ground that he easily recognized.
With a source of light available, he stopped illuminating his sword handle, but didn't put it away. Something was missing from this picture, and it hard him on edge "…Alright…This is strange…There used to be a black and gold keyblade here…but now it's gone."

At Arin's response, Lindy summoned her keyblade and followed behind, looking back every few steps. If there were any heartless, Lindy would have no problem in taking them out. At the clearing Arin mentioned, Lindy noticed the scorch mark on the ground, and since Arin hadn't thought it strange, she guessed it was from his battle. But there was something missing to Arin.
"Maybe someone came down here and took it? You did say that some of the keyblades still had life in them." Lindy suggested. Perhaps this was the first clue as to why Arin was brought here. What if this was recent? She began to pace in thought.
"Something's off..." Lindy muttered.

Arin looked around, trying to figure out what happened to the keyblade. He studied the stab mark that once held the keyblade, not seeing any gravel or debris from the blade being forced out. In fact, after kneeling down to get a closer look at the slot where the key once rested, it looked like the blade just dematerialized, as if it was summoned by its original owner "Hey Lindy, come look at this. It doesn't even look like the blade was forced free, it just…Vanished"
