The door that lead to the exit of this town opened slowly with a loud creaking noise as a young man around 5'8 with blond spiky hair walked through. He was wearing a black vest that was cut off at his shoulders, black pants that touched lightly against his black boots. He had a plate covering his left arm with a loins head sticking out with a hoop swinging from its mouth. Oddly enough he had a long, black leather sleeve that extended down his left arm and leg only.
The young man started walking down the pathway and the light sound of his large sword hanging against his back could be heard. He reached over his shoulder with his right hand and reposition the weapon before stopping and taking a look around with his blueish green eyes. His eyes skimmed all the dark corners he could find, just so that he could make sure nothing was watching him.
When he established that the coast was clear he continued walking down the road. In his mind he asked himself, "Is Leon sure about this? Was his information right? Could the others actually be here in this town?" He tossed the thought aside and focused on something else, "If they are here...maybe they can tell me if Gaia is still around..."
The young man had walked the streets for quite awhile. He had been in different districts within the town and even scoured the back alleys for any clue. He seemed to lose all hope when he suddenly passed a door and heard a voice that was familiar to him.
He cautiously made his way to the door and listened closely to the conversation that was inside. From what he could make of it there was three of them; one female, and two males. It was weird...the voices sounded so familiar, but he wondered if it was just life causing him to hallucinate just a bit. Then, suddenly he heard one of the males say that "Mako" was injected into him years ago.
He knew without a doubt then that Vincent was inside the room, and not only Vincent. If Vincent could sit there so calmly the other two had to be people he knew before. As soon as Vincent asks one of the others "...What have you been doing?" The young man opened the door slowly and peered inside.
He smirked a bit as he noticed Vincent was asking Cid the question and he spotted Yuffie drinking some tea. He breathed lightly before answering for Cid, "He must've been smoking and thinking about his airship..." He looked over at Vincent, Yuffie and finally back to Cid before saying, "Well...haven't you?"
(someone tell me if i did badly...)

((Very nice. Cloud would normally be cold, but he knows these guys and has began to open up since Advent Children. Good post.))
Vincent wasted no time, standing in a single fluid movement without knocking over his chair, and Cerberus's snout was trained at the blonde with a single, level hand. Ah, the reflexes of a gunman... He ignored the swordsman's comments and Cid's disbelief. Considering the possible danger of this place, he couldn't be too careful. Cloud. He didn't doubt the man's instincts, whether or not he was a copy or the real thing, or a memory-altered person, even. So, he would be able to find this place easily. Thing is, if that was true, he'd be dangerous if they weren't all holding the same cards in the game of life.
"Yuffie, stay out of this," the Turk murmured with his rich voice. She'd spoil the whole thing if she could get her mouth into the drama. The man nearly snorted when Cid called the SOLDIER a boy. Right, then what was Vincent? An old geezer? Also a boy? Or-? Whatever. Complicated, he was. He had frowned a careful frown, his gun still trained on the Mako-changed eyes of Cloud as the pilot dictated him into a chair. Wait - would any copy of Cloud really do that to Cid? Vincent withdrew the gun with a spin, lowering his arm but keeping the weapon ready, his thumb over the safety catch if this wasn't hostile.
"Cloud," he mumbled, loud enough for him to hear it with the deep rumble of his tone. "Still as sharp as ever..."

Cloud couldn't believe it himself. Cid had actually called him a boy. He shrugged the comment off with his mind and answered Cid's question, "The Highwind." He replied as he stared back up at Cid.
He looked over at Vincent and instead was staring down the barrel of Vincent's gun, Cerberus. The gun named after the triple headed Hellhound that guards the gates of hell. Cloud wasn't too uneasy about Vincent's sudden actions. This was normal for anyone that would barge in when Vincent was in the room.
Then Vincent suddenly drew back his gun and holstered it at his side, but didn't remove his hand off of it. Cloud placed his right hand over the handle of the sword on his back and pulled it out. He placed it gently on the table and smiled down at his sword, the Tsurugi.
He took a quick look over at Yuffie who seemed to be very quiet even for her. He looked back over at Vincent and Cid before saying, "So what exactly has been going on here..."
(ty vincent i tried to keep it in my mind that this was after advent lol...)

((hehe... chews on sticks... what about glowing balls? XD just kidding. You're doing really well with Cid. What about me though? Sometimes I feel I'm not making him solitary enough. ><))
Vincent blinked. Okay, so maybe he was the only one left out of the loop. The former Turk wasn't stupid, and he holstered Cerberus, thumbing the safety again with disappointment. Shooting something right now would be pleasant, but evidently he was robbed of his chance. Vincent sat down next to Cloud, grabbing the blade with his left hand and giving it back to the swordsman. Of course, his left hand. It was the only one that he could grab it with without slicing his hand off.
He left his tea at his old seat (which was only across the table), and remained where he was, looking at Cloud. A nod in his direction. There was some sort of special understanding between the two. Angsty love, saving the world, and being generally good-looking guys that just didn't seem to be social. So much in common, including the fact that they rarely spoke to anyone else. Well, except Cloud was special and managed to find his redemption. Vincent, having just barely obtained it, was hardly reassured with his ticket to Heaven.
He turned back to the bachelors, again ignoring Yuffie. Guys meeting, would she take the hint?

After Vincent carefully examined the Tsurugi, he handed it back to Cloud who had took the blade away from the enigmatic man and placed it against the side of the table. He noticed that Cid was too ecstatic from seeing him again to even notice his question.
Cloud let this slide as he answered the veteran pilot's question, "After...well after whatever happened to Gaia i suddenly fell asleep. While i was sleeping all i could hear was that laugh...that sinister laugh..." He clenched his fists tightly against the armchair before continuing, "He kept saying...You won't forget me Cloud...I'm always here...inside you..."
Cloud looked over at Vincent who was the usual quiet type before turning back to stare at Cid. He placed his elbows against the table and entangled his fingers together; before placing his chin against them. "When I woke up I was in a different world. In that world I met a guy named Leon. He told me that our world was probably plagued by these creatures called heartless. Honestly, at that time i didn't care because I was searching for Sephiroth. It turns out though that Sephiroth is alive in this...dimension."
He sighed a bit as he thought of how his opponent; no...how this monster is still alive after what happened. He continued on with his story by saying, "It turns out that Leon stumbled across him once...and Sephiroth is currently looking for me also..." He finished it here since this is what set him out on the journey that would eventually lead him here at this moment in time.
He noticed that Cid had been staring at the door and he said, "No, I didn't find anyone else on my journey here. I didn't bring him along either...Even though i would love to settle the score once and for all..." Cloud closed his eyes for a moment and bit his lip lightly as the anger towards Sephiroth seemed to rush through his body like electricity.
(srry for the lateness guys i was busy today...also just noticed that i'm the only guy in rl rping in here and choco is the only girl in the rp lol)

Cid seemed a bit intrigued when Cloud had mentioned Leon. Did Leon and Cid know each other somehow? He thought about it for a bit and Cloud did somehow click with Leon as well. Leon had been through some identical hardships just like Cloud had. He shrugged his shoulders as he then realized what Cid had said next.
Cloud acknowledged Vincent's quiet like nature as normal while he continued his conversation with Cid, "Is it the same Sephiroth?" Cloud was wondering that himself. Could it truly be the same? He did try his best back then to destroy Sephiroth once and for all, but Sephiroth had mentioned...I will never remain a memory.
It was true Sephiroth would never go down that easily without a fight, but the thought of him not actually being the same never crossed Cloud's mind. He started thinking to himself, "If Sephiroth wasn't the same...than am I the same Cloud?" The mind puzzle continued to boggle his mind as he stared blankly at the handle of his Tsurugi.
It was a few moments before suddenly the memory of someone had crossed his mind. Tifa...she had spent most of her time in Hollow Bastion looking for Cloud as well. Well, this was what he had heard from Leon. He blinked his blueish-green eyes before suddenly looking up and asking Cid, "Wait...you haven't heard anything about Tifa have you?"
(so short....)

Vincent gave a hmpf at the last part of Cloud's comments. His body had grown more and more tense with the mention of Sephiroth, his fists tight while his left hand remained deadly with the metal upon it. Lucrecia and Hojo's biological son, his enemy and worst nightmare come true. It was the living memory of his sin, of his beloved, and his darker past. Hojo. Damn the crazy man to somewhere worse than hell, Vincent was pissed off. Scarlet eyes sparked dangerously, cooling off after he released the tightness in his lean shoulders. Sitting down was hard for him. The gunman stood quietly, ending up leaning against the wall with his arms crossed and his legs crossed at the ankles. The usual stance. He wouldn't take his chances with Chaos and speak about the silver-haired jerk (plural if they ended up speaking about Kadaj, Loz, and Yazoo) to trigger his transformation. Better to change subjects or something or other.
"If you're still the same Cloud, I could probably test that," he said, his voice level and calm, thinking of a short spar. It could work. "As for Tifa, I only just arrived here so I don't know." But Cid has information on your supposedly dead girlfriend Aerith and she doesn't remember anyone from Gaia, Vincent nearly added, still a little pained with the reminder of Lucrecia. Dang it, she wasn't truly alive anymore anyway. He blamed himself mostly for that until forgiveness was achieved - did it matter anymore that he missed her even now?
BANG! was the sound made as the Cerberus shot the trio of bullets. The red-cloaked man had shot for Cloud, aiming in a deadly manner. Might as well test the SOLDIER's reflexes. No matter that he didn't think it was too necessary to stress it, and that Cloud might as well have fought Sephiroth yesterday because the elite members of the group hardly dulled at all. He was (slightly) relaxed at the wall, tension beginning to release as he holstered Cerberus calmly. Sephiroth is back. Sephiroth is back. Sephiroth is back... And so was Chaos.
It rang in his head, taunting Vincent to face who he was again.

Cloud was a little disappointed with the cold warrior's reply to his question. Yet, he couldn't shake the feeling off that Vincent was keeping something hidden from him. Suddenly was shocked at Vincent when the gunslinger suddenly unloaded a triple round shot from Cerberus.
Cloud reacted instinctively and reached over to his right side and grabbed the handle of the Tsurugi. Then he raised the sword upward to let the rounds bounce off against the blunt side of his sword. He moved the sword upward so that he could see Vincent as he asked, "This is supposed to be some sort of test?!"
Then Cloud realized it, this is like a test for Cloud. Even though Cloud may have taken up the life of Zack a Soldier First Class that was his close friend. Cloud sighed a bit as he knew in his mind that this couldn't be his own reflexes. It was the reflexes he gained form the experiment that they put him through...Jenova Cells inside of him.
Cloud took one last look at Vincent before jumping out of his chair and ran towards the gunslinger while dragging his blade against the floor of Cid's house. He stabbed his sword into the wall next to Vincent and said to the warrior, "Did i pass the little test..."

((Umm... Vinny put his gun back. >> ))
Vincent slid out of Cid's grip, giving a curt nod to him and to Cloud before (somewhat sheepishly) looking at the cluster of three holes in the ceiling. As for the bigger damage on the floor and the wall... Stupid spiky haired blondes. They Cloud ruined (mostly) everything with rash actions. Not to mention nearly getting himself in quite a fix back at Ajito when Kadaj and his gang cornered him. He had no idea what Tseng and Elena went through over there, but okay. Cloud was alive and back again to cause more property damage.
He gave a clearer bob of his head to Cid in apology, draining his tea as if nothing was wrong and there were no triplet holes above him and no gigantic slashes in the house. Well, at least VINCENT wasn't a swordsman. Stupid swords. They were so honking huge that they couldn't do anything in tight spots. Just think, if Sephiroth were here, he'd cut this place to ribbons if he even touched it with his Masamune and - the past was the past, even if it was mere seconds ago.
"Cid, your house can be fixed. I'll help later. If Cloud didn't react like that, it's either him or us dead," a darkly true statement. "Luckily, he's just fine."

Cloud calmed down and placed the Tsurugi back over his shoulder. He looked over at Cid and sighed, "Sorry Cid...guess i went a little over the edge." He walked over to a corner and looked out the window and said, "So what exactly do we have going on here..."
He didn't know what he was going to do. His first objective was to find the people from Gaia. Now that he has he realized that he didn't know what he was going to do after that. He sighed a bit and thought to himself, "It always seems as if we always go wherever we feel is the right way for us..."
He knew in his mind that this could not be the way their journey should be like. He started looking over at Vincent, Yuffie, and Cid. He knew that his friends would be with him through this and yet...he wished the others could be here as well.
As he started thinking about the others suddenly Aerith appeared in his mind. The image of her flashed before his eyes and he strained his eyes to block her out of him. He then opened his eyes, took a deep breath and asked Cid, "So...if this is a different dimension then...is Aerith here as well? Alive I mean..."

Vincent looked away at the latter of his words, a little pained.
He had no response to Cloud, his voice was gone as if his vocal cords were ripped out of his throat. At least the blonde was lucky that Aerith was around, if not completely intact. Lucrecia was inevitably gone, gone gone for years that stretched on and on as if he was never completely cleansed of his sin and - yes. He missed the kind scientist. Yet, Aerith resembled her slightly the way that he and Cloud were abnormally similar. Ironic, really, to the gunman.
"She is," he murmured, almost unheard as his cloak muffled most of the words. They were strained past his delicate lips as lines crossed his pale and beautiful face. "Aerith is here." Vincent's deep red eyes were closed, lashes curtaining whatever expression he could have held in those communicative crimson orbs. Past that, the man could not elaborate further on the Cetra-descendant's condition. Let Cid do it, the man was not good with sympathetic conversation.
It was when he heard a noise that his eyes opened and realized that his hands were clenched tightly into well-trained fists, having bumped into the wall and sending an odd shock through his arms. Painfully, Vincent released them, memories threatening to flood his barely-sane mind. Emo moment screamed his posture.
Heh. Poor Cid. He's sandwiched between grumpy kids again.

Cloud was somewhat prepared for the old man's answer and yet it still hit him pretty hard. To find out that Aerith could not remember anything about him at all it seemed to hurt him the most. He sighed a bit and wondered why...after all his preparations for the worst possible outcomes was it not working.
The soldier looked down at the ground for a moment and thought to himself, "She's alive...but doesn't remember me...What does someone do when they are in a situation like that?" He looked over at the silent enigmatic man, Vincent. He had to somewhat know how he felt. After all he had Lucrecia...someone he cherished and would always remember for whoever long he would live.
Then while Cloud stood there looking at the ground memories of the time he spent with Aerith in the Gold Saucer. The date he had with her would be forever ingrained into his mind. The ride over all of Gold Saucer...the play that they were in...it was all just a rush of despair.
He quickly shrugged off the memories and reverted back to his soldier stance. He straightened his back and changed his expression back to his serious like face. He stared at Cid with his blueish green eyes and said to the man, "So...what exactly are the options left for us then, Cid?"
