Hanku was sitting on a bench in the market place, wanting to have some peace and also to escape the castle. Even with his personality, the castle was too.....bleak at times. He looked up at the sky, lost in his own thoughts.
Out of random thought, his memory about his adventure with Colleen was brought to his attention. Hanku had lost all track of time when he was there; it didn't really matter. Not only that, but it was his first encouter with nobodies that orginally were strong hearted people, like Red and Ren. Rey and Ray were the results of their deaths because of darkness.
Hanku then started to remember things, before he had met Colleen. It all eventually went back so far, that Hanku was remembering about his old world. Of course, that was a time where Hanku was a normal person, like anyone else. Hanku acted like a completely different person when he was a kid, compared to how he acts now. In his old world, there was one person he could never forget; His first friend, Hao.
Hanku didn't bother searching for him, since he thought that he was the only survivor after his world destroyed. He did think that there was a possiblity at first, but as time passed, it became slim, then to none. Hanku looked back down as he sighed. Hanku shooked off the memories inside his thought as he pondered what he was going to do now. It didn't look like there was anything happening in this town, and there wasn't anthing that Hanku needed to do; He had all the free time in the world.

Turning away from a market stand, Colleen pocketed a small potion. Who knew when she would need one. She never seemed to come prepared lately. She was forgetting things and forgetting herself, what she used to be. She was the same person, but so different than before.
Looking up, Colleen could feel strands of hair fall into her face. Many empty benches sat around the marketplace, but there was one occupied by a familiar face. Smiling, Colleen shook her head slightly. He seemed lost in thought, but she always remembered him always that way. He always seemed to be thinking.
Colleen placed the strap of her bag over her neck, allowing her right arm to slide through it and the strap rest on her left shoulder. The bag held many things that she had come to find over her travels. Papers, potions, artifacts, just simple things that she felt could come in handy. In the very bottom of the bag there was something that had been long since forgotten. A golden necklace that Colleen hadn't picked up in many many months. Something that had started it all; something that Colleen wanted to forget at times. Something that she kept with her always.
Walking over to the bench where her old friend Hanku sat, Colleen plopped down next to him.
"Hello, Hanku." She smiled slightly at him.

Hanku lost his train of thought as a voice called out to him; a very familiar voice. Hanku looked back down and saw that Colleen was sitting down next to him. Of course, he was surprised to see her now; they haven't talked, let alone met each other for quite a while now. He still had his expression-less face as Colleen talked to him. Even though time has passed, nothing changed about Hanku. He still kept to himself for the most part, and still acted like a cold-hearted person, which he really wasn't.
Hanku simply said,".....Hey Colleen.....", like it was normal for them to meet again. He wasn't really that kind of person to get excited for anything, not even for an old friend.
Hanku noticed the bag that Colleen was carrying. He already knew it was something new, since it he never seen it before, but he wasn't going to ask questions about it. Instead, he asked his usual question that he always asked. "......What are you doing in Hollow Bastion?......"

Smiling, Colleen looked at Hanku. "Do you always ask that question?" Instead of waiting for a reply, she looked at Hanku with her blue eyes, trying to think of something good to say to him.
"I'm stocking up on potions and other random things that could come in handy." Colleen opened up her bag and pulled out the potion to show it to Hanku. she then slipped it back into the bag.
"I haven't seen you in a while, how have you been?" It had been months since Colleen had last seen Hanku. It was rare that she even thought about him, even though he had played such a major part in her life not that long ago. Perhaps she didn't think of Hanku because it made her think of Red, someone that she knew quite a while ago, but had lost contact with.
[We really need to figure out what happened with Red & Colleen!]

(( Yeah, we should. )) 'Do you always ask that question?'Hanku ignored the small sacasism from Colleen. Yep, Colleen was still the same person that Hanku knew. It was bit weird to Hanku that they would meet in a place that had so many memories for the both of them. Hanku heard Colleen saying why she was here, which kind of surprised him. He wondered why Red wasn't here with Colleen. Last time Hanku saw them, they were having their moment together. Who knew that when months passed, they would go separate ways. Hanku answered Colleen's question. "......I'm fine......I'm rethinking about something old......" He said. Colleen was probably the only person that Hanku felt comfortable talking to. Yet, he never mentioned anything about his past to her, now that Hanku thought about it. Hanku turned his thoughts about what happened to Red. He was about to ask, but then he closed his mouth. Hanku didn't want to mention it; not yet. He rather wait until Colleen wanted to talk about it.

Colleen studied the look on Hanku's face. She could feel the corners of her mouth tilt downward. She wasn't frowning, but yet it wasn't a normal look either. She knew he must have been wondering about Red.
"Hanku...I." She paused not really knowing what to say. She didn't want to ask Hanku about Red, but then again he might know something. She didn't want to seem as if she was in Hollow Bastion just to look for him, which was the real reason why she had come.
Shifting the strap of her bag off of her shoulder, she sat her bag down in front of her on the ground. The bag got heavy after a while, even though it carried only a few potions, papers and the necklace that had been long since forgotten.
"Have you seen him?" She was hoping that Hanku knew who she was talking about. Of all people, he should know.

Hanku guessed his thoughts synchronize with Colleen's thoughts, as he saw the uncomfortable expression on her face. He knew her enough to know that Colleen wouldn't be sad about something simple; It had to be a complex situation or a person that she had known well. Of course, the only person that Hanku could think of off the bat was Red; Hanku usually saw Red and Colleen together. At first, Hanku thought they were enemies. But as he got to know more about their history together, he soon realized that they were friends.
"Have you seen him?"
Hanku shook his head as he said, "....I haven't seen him since you two were together....." Hanku wondered why she would ask that question. Sure, he knew who Red was, but he hadn't really know him that well. Plus, Hanku spent half of his time in the castle, which he knew that Colleen and Red wouldn't dare come in anytime soon; Not what they went through.

"Neither have I." Colleen looked at Hanku. She had a forlorn look upon her face. She couldn't exactly explain what had happened between herself and Red because she did not know. If she knew, Hanku would probably have been the first person she would have wanted to know.
"I'm worried about him." It was true that Colleen was worried about Red. Their relationship had grown past friendship, but the two of them could always remain friends. At least, that's what Colleen told herself. She hadn't seen Red for months, and the realization of this scared her. What if something had happened to him? She thought that Red of all people, would have been easy to find. She didn't believe that he would leave her for months at a time and give her no notice of when he would be back or where he would be going. It didn't seem like Red at all.
Colleen wasn't sure if she should be discussing such a gloomy topic to Hanku. Then again, he was one of the only people around here that she trusted. She trusted him above all others, and trust was something very rare to her these days.
"If you see him...let me know." Colleen continued looking at Hanku. That was all that she could say.

Hanku sort of cocked his eye-brow when Colleen said that Red haven't seen her since their reunion months ago. Something must of happened to him, or maybe he was preoccupied with something else. There could be a lot of reasons why Red wouldn't keep contact with Colleen. All the possibilities were endless, which Hanku wasn't going to go into detail.
"I'm worried about him."
Hanku nodded his head in agreement. He could understand if Colleen was concerned for Red. After all, it was only recently that he 'came back from the dead'. Who knew what could be the after effects of their little summoning for Red. Red could of come back with the darkness and join his brother's nobody, Ray, who was probably still running about. However, Hanku never heard from him, or seen any activity from him. He guessed something must of happen to him as well, but he didn't care what happened to him.
"If you see him...let me know."
Hanku just gave her another nod. If he ever did catch Red somewhere, then he would tell her about Colleen. Red was probably exploring some other world, trying to remember every place. After all, he did come back from the dead; A person must of missed worlds if they were reborned.
Hanku sighed out of the blue, which was unusual for him: He usually sighed for a reason. However, Hanku did it because of his troubled mind. His past was starting to crawl back into his mind, which was something that Hanku rarely talked about.

Colleen did not hear Hanku speak. There was however, a sigh that uttered from Hanku's mouth. Usually Colleen never heard Hanku sigh, but when he did there was always a good reason.
Colleen continued to look at Hanku. She was sure that if he had seen Red, he would have said something. Colleen thought she knew Hanku well enough to guarantee that he would do so, but Hanku could always have ulterior motives. He was mysterious in that way.
Standing up from the bench, Colleen bent over and grabbed her bag once more. She placed the strap over her head so that it were to rest on her left shoulder once more. She had had the bag only a few weeks, and yet it was proving to be most handy. She had never taken to carrying a bag around with her before, not even a bag for her munny. It didn't seem relevant that she kept one on her person. All she ever really needed was herself, some munny and a weapon.
Nodding at Hanku, she looked around at the Marketplace.
"Shall we?" Colleen asked Hanku. They probably had a bit of catching up to do, and why not walk while doing so?

"Shall we?"
Hanku nodded his head in agreement. It has been months since they last heard or seen each other. Hanku didn't mind telling Colleen some things in his life, especially if was just small talk like they were going to have now. Hanku started to get up from his seat, when his head turned to the direction to where the old castle was. He stared at it for a little bit. If it wasn't obvious; Hanku had a lot on his mind....probably more in his mind than usual. His thoughts were really distant from time, since he was now thinking about the time when he first arrived here in Hollow Bastion....or Radiant Garden, as people would call it now.
Hanku shook his head, getting his eyes and mind adverted from the old castle. He looked back at Colleen and tilted his head a little bit. He said to her,".....Come on....." With that, he started to walk.

Looking at Hanku, Colleen started walking as well. She walked in a steady pace next to him after she caught up to him. It was strange being with Hanku once again, and she wasn't sure how she felt about being next to him at this moment. She always stood next to Hanku when there was an adventure of some sort for them to go on. However, this time there was nothing. There was just Colleen and Hanku...two people that knew each other.
Not saying anything, Colleen concluded that Hanku must have had something on his mind. "What's bugging you?"

"What's bugging you?"
Hanku stopped walking when Colleen asked him. He turned back to her and sighed again. Something was bugging him, but he couldn't tell what exactly what it was. Was it his past? Hanku never told anyone about it, which was probably why he felt so uncomfortable talking to anyone about it.
At last, Hanku decided to let out some of his past to Colleen. She was a good friend to him, so that gave enough reason. Hanku wasn't just going to let it all out, though; His personality was the type not to open up so easily. Hanku just simply said, ".....I'm just thinking about the past...."

"What about it?" Colleen asked Hanku. She wondered if he was referring to their past with each other. If he was going to start talking about Red...if he was going to start talking about Ren, Rey or Namine. She really didn't know what he was referring to. The look on Hanku's face didn't exactly seem to be letting out anything to her.
So, she waited for Hanku to evaluate. She knew that he had never told her anything about his past before, and she was willing to listen to him. After all, he had listened to her talk about her life. He had even seen her cry once or twice.
"Bad memories?" She asked him.

Hanku shook his head no to Colleen's second question. His memories were mostly good, except the last moment of his world. Other than that, Hanku had a normal life. ".....Before I knew there were any other worlds....I had a friend from my group....." Hanku started.
"....His name was Hao.....We were friends since we were babies...." Hao was the only person that truely talked to Hanku. Everyone else usually ignored him, despite having a 'normal' personality like everyone else. It was the reason why he stayed with Hao, til' he had to leave for his training.

"What happened to Hao?" Colleen pronounced his name exactly as Hanku had said it. She didn't know how he would feel if she had mispronounced his name. However, she was rather curious about Hao. What did happen to him? Where was he now? Was he did? Was he destroyed with Hanku's world?

(( lol, we're losing our rp mojo. )) Hanku sighed a little bit as he said,".....I don't know what happened to him...." Hanku had always thought that his friend died, considering that he couldn't find him anywhere else after their world was destroyed. There could be a possiblity that he was still out there, but after years of looking, Hanku had high doubts of it. Hanku looked back at the castle. He then turned back at Colleen and decided to change the subject again. ".....Do you want to go back to the castle?...." Hanku asked. He didn't really mind if she said no; He could understand if she didn't want. However, the castle seem like a good place to stay in, instead of staying out here. (( I'm going to add Hao now)) A portal opened in the dark corridors of Hollow Bastion's castle. A boy, about 16 years of age, stepped out of the portal. The portal soon closed off as he completely got off of it. Hao looked around the place. 'Woah....' Hao thought. He has never seen a place that was so....blunt.....It was perfect for him. Hao smirked a little bit as he started to walk inside the castle's halls.

Colleen had motioned towards the pathway that led to Hollow Bastion's castle. She then began walking towards it, indicating for Hanku to follow her.
"Do you think that you'll ever see him again?" As Colleen said this she had the slightest thought cross through her mind. The name Hao sounded extremely familiar to her...but why hadn't she thought so just moments before?
The more that Colleen talked about Hao, the more familiar he sounded. She could feel the palms of her hands becoming very sweaty. Feeling it was just the heat of the moment though, Colleen waved it off. She didn't think anything of it.
"I mean...if he's still alive." Colleen added.

Hanku shrugged at her question. Even if he was alive, Hao probably had no way to get out of whatever world he landed, considering that he didn't learn to teleport like Hanku did. And Hanku doubted that there were any gummi ships anywhere else, except Hollow Bastion and Traverse Town. Hanku started to follow Colleen to the castle before she said that 'if he was still alive.' At this point, Hanku considered him dead, so there was no point looking for him....
Meanwhile, inside the Hollow Bastion's castle, Hao ended up in the library. It was amazing to him; This place actually had a library? It seems impossible, since this place look abandoned. Hao nodded his head and started to look around the place. Like Hanku, Hao had an interest in books as he scouted for a book of some kind. It didn't matter what he picked; so long as he read something that got his interest. He began to pick up books and scouting through the pages. However, he didn't realize that he was a couple of books away from Hanku's book...

Colleen looked ahead of her. She could see the Hollow Bastion castle in the distance. She wanted to go there badly, but yet she didn't want to see what was waiting for her there. Each time that she had gone, something different had happened. Sometimes bad things, sometimes good. Mostly bad however.
The castle appeared to become bigger the closer she came to it. Winding around corners and walking down streets made it disappear and then come into view once again.
She still couldn't shake the feeling that Hanku's friend Hao was familiar in a way. It was probably nothing though. Colleen shook off the feeling and continued walking. She'd worry about it if she needed to. Right now, she didn't need to.
