A green and red blur flitted past the nearby underwater cavern's opening. If anyone had a keen eye and were to have looked out at this very moment, they would've known what the figure was. It was a mermaid but not just any mermaid of Atlantica. This was princess Ariel of Atlantica! The youngest of King Triton's daughters. Today, she had a traveling bag hanging over her right shoulder.
Her green glittery scales tail moved up and down fluently. She was an excellent swimmer, Ariel. Of course, why wouldn't she be? To her, this was like walking for those that dwelled on land. She wore no clothing but for the single light purple sea shell Bikini bra. Her blue eyes stayed directed towards where she was heading for. Today, she discovered another sunken ship somewhere off. She planned on salvaging it for any man made items. That was her hobby and how she enjoyed it. Today, she should've been singing but she had ditched it for this. Sebastian would get over it.
She round the corner of a large underwater rock to find a big old wooden mass before her. The shipwreck looked unwelcoming and depressing as it lay there. Never to sail the seas again. Ariel smiled at this sight. She slowed her speed a little as she glanced around for anything that might be dangerous. There was nothing. She hadn't seen the large shark swim by in the shadows to the far right. Going into the ship's open captain's cabin.

Yukiko opened her eyes as she was surrounded by... water? She then quickly looked down, and could see a familiar pink and purple top and tailfin. She then said aloud,"Hey, I remember this!". She then began to swim around in circles, trying to get the hang of swimming. She then stopped, since she started to feel dizzy. She looked out into the distance, and could see something unusual.
She swam off into the distance to see what looked like a sunken ship. She then said,"No way... cool!". She swam further, but she then saw something out of the corner of her eye. It was another mermaid like herself, with long, flowing red hair and a aqua-coloured tailfin. She decided she looked pretty friendly to her, so she swam up to her.
Quietly, she followed her. She then tapped on her sholder and swam back a bit. She said,"Hi, name's Yukiko Chin. What's yours?". She then extended her hand out to her.

Ariel hadn't seen he other mermaid at the current moment, so that explained the look of utter surprise upon her face when she was tapped on the shoulder gently. Her heart racing, Ariel twirled around. Her blue eyes fell upon what appeared to be another mermaid. However, her swimming was a bit curious. Breathing in after calming down, Ariel smiled.
"Hello!" she said with a smile. "You gave me quite a scare! Yukiko Chin?!" she said in a friendly tone of voice. The girl's name was different. She hadn't heard any such names before. Maybe this mermaid wasn't from these parts of the sea then? Or maybe....like Sora....this one was turned into a mermaid? Whatever the reasons, Ariel still smiled. "Nice to meet you! I'm Ariel!" she said. Not aware of the dark shark shadow swimming slowly by them in the dark shadows of the sunken ship.
Ariel peered at Yukiko's hand curiously wondering what she was doing. The other wanted to shake hands with her. That friendly smile still upon her face, Ariel extended a hand to Yukiko and shook the one Yukiko had presented to her. "Hm....what parts of the sea are you from? I don't think I've seen you around here before." She looked around in the captain's cabin as she stayed where she was. Facing this pink and purple mermaid named Yukiko.
"Say! Do you collect thinga ma bobbers?" she asked her. Using the odd vocabulary Scuttle did to identify the items she presented to him above the surface.

(With this post, I have reached 200 YAY!) "Thinga-muh-huh?!" Yukiko replied to Ariel's question, having no idea what she was asking. Yukiko put her arm down after Ariel had shaken hands with her. Knowing she couldn't say where she was from exactly, at least not without confusing her, she said,"Yea, I guess you could say I live farther away. And no, I don't collect... those. Oh, and you can call me Yuki for short!". Something then caught her eye behind Ariel. Yukiko jumped a bit as she noticed what looked like a shark was swimming in the shadows behind Ariel. Yukiko pointed over her sholder, and with wide eyes said,"Ariel, shark, swim away!". The shark then lunged towards Yuki, but she flipped her fin out of the way and egan to swim away. "Follow me!" she caled behind her to Ariel. She wasn't going to let this shark chase them out of this ship without a fight, if she had anything to say about it! (ooc: gtg, see ya 2marrow bye )

(OOC: Congratulations lol! ^^!)
Ariel had grabbed at her bag when she heard Yukiko's reaction to what she had said. "You don't know what Thinga ma bobbers are?" she asked her as she rummaged through her bag to show her an example. She cocked a red eyebrow hearing that Yukiko came from farther away. "Farther away? Like a different world?" she asked her excitedly. Dropping the idea of presenting a thinga ma bobber at the moment.
Her blue eyes having gone starry to hear what type of world. She always loved to hear about other worlds and wished to go above the sea one day. She blinked hearing Yukiko's response to the question of thinga ma bobbers. "Oh..." she replied to what Yuki said. She smiled "Alright then, Yuki!"
It was then that Yuki had pointed to something behind Ariel. She gave Yukiko a confused look as she glanced over her shoulder and could clearly see why Yuki had that scared face. There was a shark that had managed to have squeezed its large bulk into this very sunken ship! "SWIM!" she shouted as she narrowly escaped from getting a nip in the tail fins. The shark's snapping jaws crashing into the nearby wood.
She turned her head in Yuki's direction hearing her call out to her to follow. Moving her tail as fast as she could, Ariel darted forwards. The shark was upon them again! Ariel turned upwards at the last minute as the shark missed her again by mere inches and she smacked it with her tail on the top of its massive head.

"Come on, over here!" Yukiko said to Ariel as she gestured her to a spot she found, which was a small hole in the floorboards of the main deck of the ship. It wasn't the best hiding place, but she knew it would do for the time being.
She looked over to where the shark was, whom hadn't seen her yet. She then took her transformation blade out of her satchel she carried on her back. She gripped the blade, and it slowly transformed into a lighter hrowing blade, which was thin enough to work, even with the resistance of the water. "Stand back!" she called out to Ariel. She then threw the blade in front of her, and it circled to make a gash alongside of the shark's bely and fin.
It roared in anger as the blade circled back. She then said,"Thats what he gets for trying to eat us! Ariel, come on, we've got the advantage of a head start!".

Ariel smacked the shark again with her powerful tail over the top of the head before darting to where Yuki had gone. It was a small opening in the deck of the sunken ship. The wood, being as old as it was, wouldn't hold for very long if the shark were to snap its jaws at it for a few minutes. That was the downside to being trapped in an old sunken ship.
Ariel, of course, knew this from experience. She had one too many of close calls concerning Great White sharks but her quick thinking and Flounder's help often got her out of real tight spots. Ariel had rushed into the hiding spot and got out of the way as Yuki tossed some sort of blade. It was strange at how swiftly the blade went underwater. Ariel had never seen a blade, underwater, do that.
After having covered her ears, due to the shark's roar of agony, she nodded in agreement to what Yuki had said. "Yes, I most certainly agree but we have to get out of here! That wood won't last for very long!" she was talking about the wood surrounding the hole in the deck that they had hidden in. Swimming downwards even further, there was, in the farthest corner here, another hole. It looked like one had to squeeze to get through it. Beckoning Yuki over, she said "Over here!"
The shark, temporarily having been deterred, was getting ready to go for that area it saw the mermaids go into. Ariel had stuck her whole upper body through the hole she spotted and had to push the rest of herself through. Making it at the other end, she turned about and gestured for Yuki to follow. "Hurry!" she called. A shadow just passed over the opening from whence they came. "Sharks aren't that bright! If we get further down into the ship he will forget about us!" she stated.

Yukiko nodded, and began to follow Ariel. She pushed down to squeeze through the hole, but managed to push herself through. She continued to follow Ariel down into the ship. She finally stopped swimming and said,"This looks far enough, he doesn't have the intention span to swim down this far". She then began to float there, flipping her tailfin around a bit.
Suddenly remembering, she looked at Ariel and said,"Hey, you were saying something before, weren't you? Asking if I was from another world?". She then looked straight ahead as she continued. "Yea, I am, though Im suprised that you'd know that, being a local here and all. You know anybody from another world?".

Ariel sighed when they reached a safe distance. The great white wouldn't find them right now. His brain wouldn't be able to focus for this long. She watched as Yuki squeezed in after her. Relieved to see they made it to safety, Ariel calmed down. Her heart beat returning to a regular beat.
She brought her blue eyes back towards Yukiko when she spoke to her. Resuming the conversation they had to cut short due to the shark. Smiling, she nodded. "Yes, I've seen being from another world before!" she answered. Remembering her friends quite well. "I haven't seen them for a while but they're my friends, too. Sora, Donald, and Goofy are their names....I met them a time ago....when I was swimming away from a shark as well too."
Ariel, looking starry eyed again at the prospect of hearing about another world, asked Yuki "So, which world are you from? I wish I could go and see them one day....I know if I try I can go above the sea one day and maybe see these other worlds if I try!"

Yukiko tried to listen for the sounds of the great white coming closer overhead of them, but there was no such noise. She smiled at the thought of being able to relax and converse without being killed by incoming fire from some kind of deranged enemy. She leaned back, still floating in the water as she began to reply.
"Well, I'm from a small place called Chiyo Village. To the naked eye it looks like the most quiet and peaceful town, but Chiyo Village is home to an underground battle school. There, I learned martial arts, sword play, archery, tae kwan do, kickboxing, fencing... basically all types of combat. And at the age of eight, I majored in alchemy".
She then looked at Ariel and said,"I'm sure you'll be able to visit the other worlds one day, you just have to believe you will. Things will turn out". She then continued to hear silence above them. She looked back at Ariel and said,"Hey, is it safe to go up again?".

Ariel listened intently, hanging on every word that Yuki spoke to her about her world. All the things Yuki told her were confusing. Ariel had never heard of these things before. Just what was fencing and kick boxing? A bit of puzzlement was evident on Princess Ariel's face as she politely let Yuki continue talking.
Ariel was still happy to hear about this girl's world, though. All Ariel dreamed of was going above the sea and be able to see the worlds. Well, maybe not all of the worlds but at least a different view of this one. That would just be enough. Smiling, she replied "Oh yes! I won't give up believing! No matter what my daddy does..." She sighed at the number of times she had feuded with King Triton, her father, over life above the sea.
No matter what she said he wouldn't let her go anywhere near the surface. That led to her doing numerous rebellious acts that tended to escalate their arguing if he found out. It was then Yuki brought to her attention that maybe they could go back up. Ariel, looking upwards, saw nothing pass over the broken floor they had squeezed through. However, she still didn't feel quite relaxed yet.
She glanced back towards Yuki and said "Hold on! I will go and have a small peek....the sharks, even though they're dumb, they can still trick you." Swimming up silently towards the opening, Ariel just let the few inches of the top of her head peek outwards. So far, it looked like the coast was clear. It took her a while to be able to safely squeeze back out into the opening of the area they had previously been before the shark. Nothing was there. Soon, Ariel was gesturing for Yuki to show the coast was clear.

Yukiko quickly tapped into her mind, then looked over as Ariel went to swim over to see if the coast was clear. Once she was gestured over, she began to swim over twards the small opening. It look a little effort to push herself through the hole in the floorboards, but she managed to squeeze herself through all the way. She then looked over to Ariel and said,"Okay, few, that was close". She then started to swim over closer to the edge, still not sensing or seeing the shark anywhere within sight.
Yukiko gestured behind herself for Ariel to follow as she swam away from the boat more and more, until they were finally a safe distance. Yukiko then turned to Ariel and said,"Yea, stuff like kick boxing and fencing, that you didn't really understand... it kinda requires feet". Yukiko then smiled and said,"You want to walk upon land, am I right? Well, I could help you out with that...".

Ariel kept glancing around hurriedly, just in case she might've just missed the shark. However, she heard nor saw nothing move. They were fine now. He must've given up the chase. This was a major relief as she brought her gaze back towards her new found friend. Yuki took a bit to squeeze through but she got out alright.
It was then that she looked around again to make double sure before bringing her attention back towards Yuki. She nodded when the other gestured for her to follow her. Eventually, they went away from the ship. Next time, Ariel will check it out and salvage it. Next time. She blinked as Yuki went on about kick boxing and the like which required feet. No wonder Ariel hadn't a clue what she was talking about. "Oh! I see!" she replied.
It sort of disappointed Ariel that she hadn't legs to walk upon the land. It would be great. However, it was often that her father discouraged it. Always telling her humans were bad when they were good. Sora, Donald, and Goofy being land dwellers were eventually accepted by her father. It took King Triton a while to warm up to them. Her whole attention snapped back to the present as she heard what Yuki said to her.
All 'ears' Ariel said "Really?! How?" It was obvious by the tone of her voice that this idea intrigued her. Princess Ariel would do anything to walk upon the land. ANYTHING. That's how she was easily swayed to Ursula's will unwittingly in the past.

"Well, I can posess magic... it'd be nothing to give you a pair of legs. But... what about your father?" Yukiko said, remembering she must've tapped into Ariel's mind by accident. She laughed a bit to herself, looking at Ariel as she said,"Heh, sorry, read your mind by accident".
She then remembered what had happened to her in the past, after using up too much magic at once. She then added by saying,"Actually, now that I think about it... I might not be able to give you legs forever, I'd go under mag-... oh, nevermind. The most I can do with my limitations at this present moment is allow you on land only for 24 hours".
She then began to pace back and forth, somehow beign able to do this with a tailfin. She then said,"But later on, there might be a way I can make it permanent. But this is good since this'll be a secret from the old man. Wanna try legs out for a day?".

Ariel was delighted to hear about actually getting a pair of legs of her own for once. She'd be able to walk on land and even see that human, Prince Eric, again. She hesitated with her answer hearing mention about her father. Looking over at Yuki, she gave her a questioning look as if to say 'How did you know about my dad?' She gave an "Ooh!" when Yuki explained that she had accidentally read Ariel's mind.
Smiling a little, she replied "That's alright. I was just confused for a little bit hearing mention about my father." She sighed when she said 'father' because she knew very well her father would be against this whole idea. Even if she went to the surface of just the water not touching the land, her father freaked out. Ariel could never understand why King Triton was so against humans. The one she saw didn't at all seem mean in anyway that her father described. Bringing herself back to the present, Ariel's facial expression clearly stated what she thought about what her father would say on the matter.
Her expression changed a bit when she heard that all Yuki could do was allow her at least one full day of having legs. That alone, was enough for Ariel. All she wanted really was one chance. maybe if she could talk to Prince Eric without being a mermaid at the moment she might be able to get her father to see how humans really are by introducing them. Then again, that seemed highly unlikely. Her father would never allow it. A slight smile on her face, Ariel nodded "Even for one day is good enough for me....at least I'd be able to experience a little of what human legs are like and what it is to be human for once."
Yes, to her that sounded like an event that never come twice in her life. Not with her father acting the way he did. Looking around for any signs of Sebastian or Flounder, Ariel quickly nodded to what Yuki asked her. "Yes, I'd love more than anything to at least try this human leg thing for a day! I don't care what my daddy says....humans aren't that bad." Her expression had lifted to an even brighter one hearing that maybe Yuki could figure out how to make it permanent someday. That would be wonderful. Her father wouldn't be able to hold sway over her anymore. Also, she'd be able to stay human and learn what it's like for a human. That experience alone, Ariel couldn't ever pass up.

"I guess thats true. But, for this spell to work..." Yukiko started to say to Ariel. She then pointed up, towards the surface. She then said,"Follow me". She began to swim up towards the surface. Once they reached the ocean line Yukiko stopped, closing her eyes. She was silent for a moment, but then said,"Coast is clear, no humans or anyone else around". She then popped her head up out of the water, bringing her head back to get her wet hair out of her face. She then turned around until she could see the land nearby.
She gestured for Ariel to follow her, and began to swim towards land. After a bit of time, they finally reached the sandy shore, still floating in the water in front. Yukiko then turned towards Ariel, saying,"Okay, close your eyes, don`t open until I give you the word, okay?". She then herself, closed her eyes, holding her arms straight out in front, palms flat. She let the mystic energy run down her arms and into her hands, caressing her fingers. The energy came out like a mist, absorbing into Ariel.
"Okay, it`s alright now" Yukiko said, with a smile on her face. She then took hold of Ariel's arm, pulling her closer to the shore. They then both stepped on land, each of them with a pair of legs of their own, Yukiko wearing a longer white sundress, Ariel wearing a aqua-coloured sundress, both of them completly dry, even though they just stepped out of water. Yukiko then said aloud,"Okay, lets try to see if you can balance okay with legs, okay?".

Ariel followed Yuki up to the surface. Not letting her head emerging from the sea already. Not caring if there were any humans nearby. If there were, she would've seen them because they always came by on a big wooden ship. Looking towards Yuki after having flung her wet red hair back, Ariel looked towards the land. That was where they were headed since Yuki had gestured for Ariel to follow her there.
Eventually, Yuki told her to close her eyes and she nodded. "Alright then!" she replied as she shut her eyes tightly. Anxious about this new experience she was about to undertake. A strange sensation overcame Ariel but she kept her eyes tightly closed. Waiting for the okay from Yuki to open her eyes. Sure enough, the okay came. Ariel opened her eyes slowly and glanced down at herself but didn't have time to see what happened as Yuki grabbed hold of her arm stepping onto the beach.
Ariel blinked as they emerged onto land with their pairs of legs. They were completely dry in dresses. What type, Ariel hadn't a clue because she didn't know what they were called but dresses. She brought her eyes towards Yuki when she spoke. A very happy smile on her face as she nodded vigorously. "Well, here I go!" she said. With that, Ariel made to take a step but couldn't keep her balance and ended up shaking all over until she finally fell over.

"Ahh you okay?!?" Yukiko called out, watching Ariel as she wobbled and fell over. She quickly ran to her aid, helping Ariel to her aid. After pulling her up, she said,"Okay, I see we'll have to work a little more at this".
Yukiko then repositioned herself under Ariel's arm, her hand on the small of her back. Yukiko then looked up at her and said," Okay, now straighten out your back, keep your knees straight... if you know what those are...". After joking a bit, she looked back up at her.
She continued by saying," And we'll start walking". Yukiko began to walk slowly, watching to make sure Ariel's legs followed suit. She then looked back up, saying,"There, you're doing good". She then moved away from Ariel a bit, holding her shoulders and said,"Okay, now lets see if you can balance on your own, okay?".

Ariel rubbed her backside a little as she gave a slight smirk before giving a shrug. She was new to this so that explained her graceful fall back there. It was then that Yuki walked over to her to help her to her feet. Ariel's legs were still wobbly as she did this. She looked down at her own as Yuki corrected her in how to stand properly.
She wobbled as she followed Yuki's example. Doing her best right now as she concentrated on walking. Eventually, she got the hang of that. Now, it was just the balancing that she needed to get the hang of. This was exciting for her but difficult. Of course, she didn't expect to be able to walk on the first day in a matter of seconds.
Eventually, Yuki let her go to see how she'd hold up. Ariel, doing her best to keep her back and legs straight, did her best not to tip over. Still a bit shaky when standing still but other than that, she was okay. "I-I think I've got it!" she exclaimed happily. That's whens he had another graceful moment having not concentrated on standing at that moment and tipped over again. Scrambling a bit before being able to catch her balance again.
"Whew! This walking stuff isn't as easy as it seems!" she said to Yuki.

"Whew! This walking stuff isn't as easy as it seems!" is what Ariel had said after losing her footing again. Yukiko laughed a bit to herself and said,"Don't worry, we can keep practising". Just then, she could hear what sounded like barking from not too far away. The sound grew closer and closer until a very scruffy dog ran around a corner and came charging towards her. He jumped up on her legs, and she came towering down.
The dog kept trying to lick ehr in the face repediatley. Between breaths, she said,"Ahh, okay, okay, enough boy. Come on, enough!". She couldn't help but laugh uncontrolably at the thought she was getting mauled by a dog. Just then she heard a voice from not too far away saying,"Max! Hey Max, where are you, boy?". The dog came off Yukiko and started running in the direction of the voice. Yukiko shot up and said,"Oh crap! Ariel, come on, hide!".
Yukiko could see a large rock that had formed in the middle of the beach and she ran behind it. This person might be someone Ariel was familiar with, but she knew she didn't exactly want to get discovered easily.
