Tension would be pretty high after that. The poor girl was a bit taken back by having her help genuinely smashed, triggering her to feel the need to mutilate herself some more to keep herself from getting upset. A stab straight to her own gut with her knife should do the trick. the rest of the night wasn't too eventful, the boy stayed out long enough to avoid having to say 'good night' to her, having come back when she was already asleep. She was a bit worried about him, but he was a big boy and capable of taking care of himself, plus she had no idea just how much shock she put the boy through with her odd rejection. The next morning though would be uneventful. Cheri-chan would perform her usual morning routine of waking up at eight thirty naturally, no alarm, eating breakfast, taking a shower, and catching up on the internet on her computer downstairs. The boy wouldn't be up and around until when Cheri-chan made lunch and would begin target practice, inviting him to come along to shoot. Except, he was being oddly distant and she hated that. After a while, she just couldn't take the silence between them and decided to open her mouth, starting a bit of a quarrel, ending with him confused in a scowl and the girl laughing her ass off. Seems she wasn't trusted one bit, but she learned that he did actually care for her. The rest of the day wouldn't be as awkward, but she still wouldn't cook for him and he'd still go out to find something, but at least this time he would be back soon enough that Cherika would still be up. He was in the room just doing his own thing when the bloodruse girl would begin going to bed, making it an interesting quirk that she slept completely naked more often than not, all while having no shame in disrobing in front of him and crawling into bed. Seeing as he was available, she would try to strike up a 'so, no hard feelings?'-type chat. It would more-or-less be successful, but the two still wouldn't be sleeping together. For the next morning, a slight detour was made in the girl's routine to pick up the five hundred munny herself, to give to him so he might be able to afford some decent food. She had no idea what he had of his own on him, , but it couldn't be that much at this point. He was pretty lucky that this psychotic girl took a liking to him, in fact, now couldn't be more attached. This girl was capable of killing, and 'for love' was plenty of a reason to justify her motives. She wasn't fully sold yet, but it wouldn't be too much longer before she was driven to that point. The exchange would go well, and Nero would join her for target practice once again, though today would be a little different. Every once in a while, Cherika likes to make sure the control she has over her dark magic is in check, and would unleash a few Dark Bursts on boxes as a test. Nero, being the 'avid fan' of magic that he is, made some snide remarks about Cherika's 'make-believe', to which she would use a Dark Whip on his pants to make them fall, then try to create a certain romantic movement, which he promptly ruined by taking things too seriously. The girl immediately walked away, leaving him disappointed. Another normal night, and then the next day... was the big day. At exactly two in the afternoon, Cherika had an appointment with a buyer for one of her dangerous weapon prototypes. A compact device that quickly disperses a gas capable of rendering an entire room unconscious in moments, covering the area the instant it detonates. This time, Cherika decided to do the unspeakable thing and share some of her cereal and fruit with the boy, claiming that its part of the job he receives the nutrition she recommends. Just a total excuse, she just wanted to start learning how to share her food, and she figured this interesting boy she wants around would be the perfect start. Afterwards, her preparation would also alter in that she would now be wearing, a simple black shirt and blazer, black skirt and a little bit of black eyeliner. Seems today was definitely a special occasion. She'd even put her hair up nice. She was even more revved up than usual since the boy actually agreed to share shower time. That was quite an experience, despite nothing utterly sexual occurring. And then... it was time. [ ...FOR BGM!] "We're heading to the roof you'll be scouting from. It's... uh... that!" She pointed to a very nice-looking storage lot. It looked like a simple garage-type structure, albeit large, but it was well-kept and the complete opposite of 'run down and rickety' like one would expect. They went far to the left however, as she lead him to a ladder and began to climb up. If he followed up right after her, he'd get a good look at her lacey, white panties too. And where/how she keeps all of her stuff. At the top, she gestured to the corner ledge facing the building she pointed out earlier. "Remember, if you need anything, just let me know. Of course, I'll do the same!" she said, pointing to her ear, where small receivers that were nearly invisible to the naked at were placed in both of their ears. It was vital they had communication for a gig like this. "Of course, I'm not expecting to need your help, but I lived this carefree all the time, something is bound to happen that I'd actually regret." That sentence implied quite a lot of things, but there wasn't much time for philosophical conversations about the bloodruse girl's past. For now, she waved with a cheerful smile and slid down the ladder, jogging with a briefcase in her hand to the location. In exactly ten minutes, a deal would be going down. After some waiting, Cheri-chan entered the building with four other dudes, dressed in black suits, and the chatter would began, all of which Nero would catch clearly even if he could barely see inside through the top windows or the open garage door. "Yahoo! Long time no see Cheddar!" The girl sounded way too happy to be selling weapons. "And if you know what's good for you, you'll stop referring to me by that wretched name. You should know that I'm Charles, and you'll show some respect to your elders." You could practically hear the face palm before the start of that sentences. "Tomayto, tomahto, you have the money or not? I'm a busy girl with a date tonight." While it wasn't formally established, she distinctly remember the musings of a more-than-money reward for both her and Nero after this was over. She was certainly banking on that. "A date, mm? A freak of nature like you actually--" Charles was immediately cut off. "Shut your goddamn mouth and show me the fucking money." How cow, Cherika wasn't pulling any punches. The other man made a few loud breaths, a bit stunned, but he knew who he was messing with and moved on. "Why yes, I'm prepared to show you eight hundred. Al, bring--" Cut off once more. "Cheaping me out again? One-point-two mil, we agreed, and I don't barter." The room got silent again. A few seconds passed. "After careful consideration, you must know that this is only a prototype, not a finished product, and the amount of time invested--" He would be cut off by a gunshot. There were a few clicks of the guy's own goons raising their weapons, none of them firing. A guy could be heard cursing in agony. "What the fuck? Why did you shoot one of my--" Another gunshot. "ARE YOU MAD!?" the Charles guy screamed. "I made a fair trade. Bullet in your guy's leg for a bullet in mine. I'm done bartering. You show me one-point-two or I walk, show me anything that's not money and I raise hell. Shooting me ends all of your pathetic lives. Times wasting, go." Hoo boy, Cherika definitely wasn't a pushover. The air fell silent again. There was a little mumbling after a second, but nothing Nero would be able to make out. There were some footsteps, a few clicks and a brief creaking sound. Cherika counted softly to herself. "Where's the other four hun--" More gunshots. This definitely sounded like a full-out fight, but there everything was hardly visible. Soon two guys in suits could be seen running out of the garage, but two more louder gun shots resulted in both of them dropping to the ground. There was a vague 'you bitch!' in the background as well. "Nero, deal's a sham, they intended to steal from me. Cover my six while I get out." She sounded very formal giving out directions, for some reason. Sure enough, she could be seen running with two briefcases now, more gunshots, which Cheri-chan turned around and fired. She would seem to make it out fine, though if Nero looked carefully enough, he'd see three clear wounds in Cheirka. One square in the center of her chest, just above her cleavage, and the other slightly higher up and just under her left shoulder. Oh yeah, and a third in her leg, where the goof shot herself. "When I'm clear, just meet me back at the house."Hopefully Nero really wouldn't have to get involved, but she'd gladly turn and shoot whenever Nero indicated that someone was behind her. Even more than that, she hoped that both of them made it to the house, relatively okay.

Nero may have planned to stay distant and cold to this girl, but apparently that wasn't an option for this girl. Over the few days he had spent with Cheri, she had broken him. Sharing his name and even a shower with the girl, it seemed that the whole 'strictly business' idea was thrown out the window at this point. Though, Nero wasn't too upset about the outcome of the whole scenario. Sure, he had wanted to stay distant when it came to Cheri, but what would it have gained him when compared to the way things turned out? He wouldn't have made an extra five-hundred munny, wouldn't have read a few of Cheri's books, and most importantly, he wouldn't have seen her naked. All in all, Nero was feeling pretty good about how it all went down and was honestly sad he'd be leaving so soon after completing Cheri's job. Still, that was just part of Nero's job, even before his world was gone. Though, he did return to places he had visited before every now and then, maybe if Cheri was lucky, he'd consider visiting Radiant Garden a bit more. At least when he wasn't out looking for some crazy treasure.
After sharing a breakfast and a shower with Cheri, Nero would return to the room he had been staying in to change his clothes. Thankfully, the boy didn't have to dress up in anything fancy like Cheri did, he had always hated wearing any kind of formal wear, but seeing as how he wouldn't even be seen by the people Cheri was dealing with, Nero would simply just wear his desert gear. He did expect to leave for Agrabah after the job (and the reward, but that went without saying at this point) so wearing his attire for an expedition to the hot climate of that world before hand would save the teen some much needed time once he got to the scorching world that was Agrabah. Slipping on his shoulder holster and adjusting it to his body, Nero began to finish up on the final touches to his attire, such as lacing up his boots and tying his desert scarf around his neck. He'd probably look a little silly wearing all this in the climate of this world, But he didn't care. This wasn't the only job he had to worry about, so he'd be more than willing to sacrifice the way he looked if it meant being more efficient. Waiting for the time to come, Nero would lean against the wall outside of the house. He wasn't too nervous about the deal, Cheri seemed more than capable of keeping her pretty little head bullet-free and he was confident in his own abilities if it came down to it. After what would feel like an eternity, Cheri would meet the boy outside and lead him towards the deal.
Looking back at his dog, Nero would clip his spare radio to the dog's holster and place his finger over his lip in a gesture that hinted at the dog to keep quiet. Cheri would have her back to the duo, meaning she wouldn't be able to see this plan of Nero's which is just what the teen had intended. She may have had a pretty solid plan when it came to dealing with these people, but when someone ha Nero's luck, they tend to always have a back-up plan, even when a supposed super genius comes up with them. Soon enough, Cheri would point out the building the deal would go down in, a rather large garage. It was a pretty typical place to do shady deals, the only thing that seemed a bit off was that this garage looked well-kept. Though, this place didn't really matter to Nero, as his place would be elsewhere on top of a nearby roof. Once again following Cheri, Nero was lead to a ladder. He attempted to climb up first, as the girl was wearing a skirt and Nero had some sort of decency towards her, but he'd end up being beat to the ladder by her. Of course, being who he was, Nero wouldn't hesitate to take advantage of the situation, getting a nice view under the girl's skirt as he climbed up behind her. He was about to make some sort of joke about it, but really, did it matter at this point? Nero and the girl had already seen each other naked and planned to again after the job, so why would Cheri even care if he peaked at this point? It's not like it's anything Nero hadn't seen before. Unfortunately, Koji couldn't climb ladders and would have to stay on the ground, but Nero had planned to use this to his advantage anyway.
Before Cheri would head to the building below, she'd give the teen an earpiece to wear, something a little foreign to the boy as he and his old partner would usually use radios to communicate with each other, but this was just as good if not better. Though, Nero would be caught a bit off guard by the girl's last comment. So far, they would usually joke or flirt with each other, but this... This just implied too much for the boy to register at the moment. Cheri would quickly break the small serious moment though, as she did with most. Shaking his head as the girl casually waved at him and gave him a cute smile, Nero would blow air out of his nose and kneel down. To be honest, Nero wanted to say a bit more to the girl before she left him on the roof alone, but felt that anything he would tell her would come off as generic or cliche. Looking down the sight of his rifle, Nero scoped out the area, looking for where exactly Cheri and her customers would be meeting. Settling his sight on the girl, Nero would laugh to himeself a bit. He really hadn't payed too much attention to it earlier, but he found it funny that Cheri prettied herself up so much just to sell some crazy thing she crafted. Of course, Nero wouldn't complain about her looking better than usual, as that just made him look forward to their activities after the job even more, but that was besides the point and Nero wouldn't want to loose too much focus. Cheri may have not been expecting anything to go wrong, but Nero was the complete opposite. He had seen these kinds of deals go down many times before, almost all of them resulting in a similar way. One side would always try to short the other, it really made him wonder why either side could be so stupid. Really, there was no way that someone could really think people with armed men would just accept being given less than expected, so Nero wouldn't take anything lightly.
After waiting for a bit, Nero would see Cheri and four suited men enter the building, leaving Nero with a massive scowl on his face. Four armed men for one armed small girl? Yeah, that didn't seem fishy at all. Even if they weren't arm, Nero didn't like their body language. They seemed tense, as if they had something planned the girl wouldn't like, making Nero extremely uneasy. Looking over at their formation through the windows in building, Nero woud laugh to himself and switch off his earpiece. "Well, congratulations Trojia, your old ass actually taught me something useful." Reaching behind him and clipping off his raidio from the back of his belt, Nero would switch it on. "Koj, change of plans. This goddamn thing is gonna be a scam, I need you to scout out a route that Cheri can use to get the hell outta there when the time comes, got it?" Hearing a quiet bark through the radio, Nero would smirk and talk into his radio once more. "That's my pal! Just do me a favor, try not to get her or yourself shot? I know you're still a bit iffy on her Koj, but treat her like you'd treat me, A juicy steaks in it for you." Listening for one last confirmation bark, Nero would switch his earpiece back on while clipping his radio back on his belt. He could've let Cheri in on the plan with his dog, but he didn't want risk it just in case he was wrong. Besides, Cheri could handle herself if anything did go down, so Nero could ease his conscious a bit. Fortunately, Nero hadn't missed any thing either Cheri or her client (who was apparently name Cheddar or Charlie) had said during his planning with Koji, but perhaps it would've been better if he had. With everything this Cheddar guy said, Nero's grip would tighten on his gun, especially when he referred to Cheri as a freak of nature. Granted, Nero had labeled her a freak as well, but he'd be damned before he'd let this jackass talk down to her. This was one of the many kinds of people Nero despised the most and now he was gonna be the one who was supplying the munny Cheri would be paying him with? That sucked. It was almost enough for the boy to ask her to call off the deal and find someone less asshole-ish, but he really couldn't wait long enough for her to find another client, as much as he wanted to.
As the banter between Cheri and Charlie continued, Nero would smirk as he heard Cheri mention that he was trying to short her. Not because of Cheri getting ripped-off, in fact that only pissed him off, he was just feeling a little smug that he had guessed right and would now seem ultimately prepared for the situation, making it eveen more likely he'd fall under the 'if you do a really good job' category. The smirk would be quickly wiped off his face when he had heard gunshots, instead being replaced by a frown. Luckily, from what she had said, it seemed Cheri had fired both round... Even though she used one on herself. Really, why she labeled herself as a super genius Nero would never know, but he wouldn't lose his focus on the situation at hand. Once Cheri had asked about the lack of munny once more, it was on. Hearing as many gunshots as he did, Nero was expecting the girl to run out looking like Swiss cheese, but was filled with relief to see the girl have minimal bullet damage on her. Well, it was minimal for how many shots had been fired, and to be fair, she shot herself once as well. Upon hearing her address him, Nero would simply shake his head and laugh at the girl. "I knew before you did, sweetheart. Just keep your pretty head down and keep on moving. Koji should be up ahead and to your left, he's already scouted a safe route, you just follow him okay?" Firing five rounds from behind his cover on the roof, Nero took out a goon of Cheddar's before continuing his instructions to Cheri. "If Koji barks, there's someone ahead of you and a growl means that someone is behind you. He can help take out some of these assholes, but not the ranged ones, those are up to you. I'm gonna lead these idiots away from you guys, then meet up with you. Watch each other's backs, we'll catch up at the house." As soon as Nero was finished with his sentence, he'd see on of Charlies men point up to roof, singling him out. Vaulting over his cover with a bit of a grunt, Nero would leap to the next roof over, unloading a few rounds into the grunt who had spotted him.
Waiting until he had most of the men's attention, Nero looked to his right, seeing a thin wire that lead to the roof directly across from Nero, being the one the deal originally took place in. slding into cover as the men emptied their clips at him, Nero would run towards the wire and use his rifle as a harness, attempting to zip-line across to the other roof. Unfortunately, Nero hadn't realized that not all the men had been reloading their guns, leaving one of the men still able to shoot the wire Nero was using, breaking the wired and slamming Nero into the wall with it. After rebounding off of the wall he had just been forced into, the teen would plummet down onto the man that had shot him down, knocking the man out cold and leaving Nero only slightly affected. After all, Nero had taken much, much worse. As the other men stared at the boy in shock of what had just happened, Nero took the opportunity to scramble to his feet and dive behind a nearby wall, narrowly dodging the onslaught of bullets that would follow him. "Just like I planned! Well... Kinda.." Poking out of his cover and dropping another one of Charlies men that were hunting him down, Nero would begin to move away from his cover, attempting to lead the men farther away from his two friends. "Really, the one time you need Trojia and he's probably off in some bar, hounding after some chick who's way too young from him... Not only are you amazing at picking women, you also are a wiz picking father-figures! Great job, Nero." It'd probably seem odd to Cheri, but Nero was very skilled in the arts of talking to one's self and he wasn't necessarily ashamed to show it. Still, despite his complaining, everything had been going good enough on his end of things, he could only hope things were going as well with Cheri.

"You're more amazing than I thought!" Cherika admitted in cutest, girliest voice she could muster. Just as the boy said, his dog was awaiting her presence and once she was behind him they were off. She took care of mostly everyone behind him, there were only a limited number of goons left, but she couldn't afford to make any mistakes with people chasing her. Any more bullet holes like the first two and this shirt would be completely ruined! Well, she was bleeding a bit even though she was controlling her blood to clot faster than normal, which was always a drag, but anything to not have to buy new clothes again.
Well, she couldn't escape the damage that had been done, so saving this shirt was probably a lost cause, but she would make up for it by averting any dangers that could come up behind her with a quick fix. "Hold up Koji, I'm going to get the baddies off our back." She slid her gun into her holster and used her free right arm to dig into the bullet wound that had begun healing on her left shoulder, really getting her fingers in here. How her own skin was immune to the corrosive blood was crazy, but it sure came in handy that she didn't boil from the inside out. She leaned over as to not burn too big of a hole in her shirt, at least, bigger than it already was. She spilled a decent amount of blood onto the concrete before covering the wound for a few seconds, causing it to stop.
Holding out her free hand some more, she began flexing and exercising it, and the blood on the ground began to bubble and multiply. It seemed to attempt to defy gravity by claiming up and crafting itself, slowly making a shape, and then when it looked humanoid Cherika popped her wrist and extended all of her fingers, causing a little spurt of blood and the oozing mess it had been before transformed into a perfect replica of the girl. Well, wasn't that freaky. "Be really bad at hiding, and don't start running until you've confirmed them chasing you." The clone nodded and then pretended to be peeking from around a corner. "Easy. Let's go, Koji." And then they were off.
For the most part they were safe, until a couple barks let her know that a couple goons who waited outside the position to prevent escapes, just what she expected anyway, were about to be in her way. No big deal. She dropped the current clip in her handgun, slammed the base into the holster for a quick reload. The discarded clip warped to her holster, fully loaded with her signature dark rounds. Right on cue, two guys stepped out to fire but were surprised when they just saw the dog - in fact, Where was the girl-- WHACK!
She had threw a dark whip up to a railing on a second story, launch herself into the air, coming down hard on one guy with the suitcases and then fired a round into the other's skull. Knowing her business partner and how he operated, that should suffice for the whole escape plan. However, by the sounds of things going on in her friend's receiver, she wouldn't be so optimistic. If only she could give her nifty clone telepathic commands. She would have to have a friend of hers teach her telepathy at some point... It must be something she is capable of. Oh well, for now, she wanted Nero to get out.
"From my calculations I should be in the clear. You don't sound so lucky Nero. Get out as fast as you can, and don't worry about stragglers. I have a decoy that should be running around by now and they're definitely more interested in me than you. Leave now, got it?" She sounded rather harsh, but she was focused. What she had been looking forward to more so than the deal now was in jeopardy, and she would not hesitate to turn around and make sure he got out okay. for now, she would have to assume he was going to be A-OK. "Thanks Koji, I'm good from here. Your friend needs you more than I do now."
She definitely was in the clear. Should everything continue as smooth, she should see the boy back at the house in just a few minutes, otherwise, she would be heading out into the fray, guns a-blazin'.

While Nero was having the fun time of falling off a roof and being shot at, it seemed Koji and Cheri were having a much more smooth time. There was a few stragglers in the route that Koji had scouted out, but nothing the girl wouldn't be able to handle. In fact, the feeling of teaming up with a person like Cheri was a little odd for the dog. His usual partner couldn't do anything magical or too ridiculous, unless one was counting some of Nero's many stunts astonishing, but Cheri made the boy's stunts look lack-luster in the dog's eyes. Although Cheri's whip stunt was pretty impressive, the dog was still baffled that she was able to make a clone of herself just by bleeding. Honestly, it made having a partner like Nero begin to look like a bit of burden, but Koji wouldn't be able to think that for too long, as the girl would point out that she was fine, suggesting the dog go help his owner. Koji would look at the girl, making sure she wasn't simply fibbing to him, as he really wanted the steak Nero had offered to him, but she seemed sincere. It's not like it was a crazy order from the girl any how, Koji was pretty certain he cared about Nero more than she did (though perhaps not in the same way) so he really had no reason to reject her idea. After looking back at the girl to make sure she was alright one last time, Koji would head off into a full sprint towards his friend in the distress.
Back with the teen, it seemed as if Nero's luck wouldn't be getting any better, as he would be pinned down behind cover with the men he had lead all aiming at the slab of concrete he was crouched down behind. Even though his situation seemed pretty bleak, Nero would look more annoyed than scared. He had been in this scenario just a few times too many, making this time just have a 'ugh, this again?' vibe to it. Getting another three shots in when there was a break between the men's gunfire, Nero would let out a frustrated grunt and flip the men his middle finger before dropping back down behind his cover. "For God's sake, does it really take this many freaking men to take down one guy?! The hell is this guy paying you? For his sake, I really hope it's not more than minimum-wage!" venting his frustrations out on the goons, Nero would wait for the next halt in the men's fire before making his next move. Once he had his opening, Nero would sprint past the building he was beside, turning left and entering a garage-like building. This one was pretty similar to the garage building the deal had took place in, only this one looked like a garage-building should. Stepping into a small puddle of oil as he entered, Nero would let out another annoyed grunt and hide behind another slab similar to the one he had hid behind before, only this time it wasn't out in the open. Nero's bright idea would be to lead the men in here, make sure he wouldn't be seen by any of the jackasses chasing him, then sneak out without any sort of hassle. Simple, but effective. Well, it was almost effective...
As the men were turning the corner, they seemed not to be able to see the teen, just as he had planned, but Nero hadn't accounted for a certain loyal side-kick of his. With the dog's bark echoing through both the boy's ears and the garage itself, it became apparent That both Nero and his dog were both in the garage, making Nero's initial plan to sneak out just a distant memory. Crouched down behind his cover, Nero would see the men's positions in the garage, as well as a familiar large black shape on the other side of the garage. Shooting his friend a glare, Nero would shake his head at the mutt. Sure, he was happy to see his dog was okay and bullet-free, but the dog had pulled a pretty stupid move barking in the garage, even if he was just trying to let Nero know he was with him. Still staying crouched, Nero would silently make his way to his dog, covering it's mouth and signaling it to follow him. Again, it seemed Nero had forgot a vital detail, this time being that Koji's nails would click against the hard pavement of the garage floor, giving the men a pretty good guess where the duo would be in the garage. Though, with how dark it was inside, the men couldn't be able to get too much of a clear shot on Nero or Koji, so sneaking out would still be an option, Nero would just have to be quick. Sneaking past the men, Nero would wince a little when he heard an sound that he knew a little too well. The sound of a grenade's pin being pulled out of it.
Feeling grenade hit the back of his head, Nero would frantically grab the grenade and toss it back towards where it came from. "Hey, you dropped something, jackass!" Once the grenade left the boy's hand, he'd grab his dog and dive out of the garage, expecting only a minor explosion from the thrown back grenade. Nero hadn't considered how beat down this garage looked, leaving him a bit awe-struck when the entrance came crashing down, blocking the men's path to the boy and his dog. Laughing to himself and dusting himself off, the boy would stand up and shrug at his dog. "You know, I think that's the first time that I've been happy to have a grenade thrown at me. You alright, Koji?" Hearing his dog bark in confirmation, Nero would attempt to open his mouth, but would be interrupted by the sound of footsteps heading towards the duo. Grabbing his pistol out of it's holster and aiming towards the sound, Nero would let out a sigh of relief to see that it was just Cheri. "Jesus, you almost had a bullet in your-... Ugh, God!" The teens joke would be interrupted by Nero covering his nose and mouth with his free hand and glaring at the girl. "Geez, you stink like blood! Like, more than you usually do!" While Nero was busy complaining, Koji would inspect Cheri closer, realizing this was the decoy Cheri had made. Tugging at Nero's pant-leg, the dog would try to nudge the boy forward. Rolling his eyes, Nero would walk past the decoy, patting it on the shoulder. "Right, you're just the decoy... Welp, good luck!" As Nero jogged away, he could hear the men making their way towards the decoy, which would most likely keep their attention. Nero may have been happy to have made it out okay, but he couldn't help but feel a little frustrated about Charlie pulling a fast one on Cheri and then getting away. Cheri may have made it away with the money and her product, but that's not what Nero was concerned with. Guys like Charlie... They never just walked away after a scene like that, meaning that Cheri would most likely be targeted by them again. He wouldn't want to worry himself with those thoughts after that whole ordeal, especially when considering that Cheri made it away with both items, making him even more confident he'd be getting his bonus reward.
After taking a few back alleys to make sure he didn't have anyone tracking him, Nero would arrive back at Cheri's house, seeing her outside of it. Besides having a few holes in her outfit caused by her own blood, she seemed to be okay, but Nero had already assumed she was fine when his dog showed up to give him a hand when he was pinned down in the garage. Resting his hands on his hips, Nero would shake his head as he walked up to the girl. "Things always go this well for you? I dunno why, but I remember a certain someone telling me they didn't expect any trouble on this job." After taking a breath, Nero would continue. "Nice to see we all made it out okay. I never really had any doubts about the outcome, but still, always nice to walk out of a thing without being full of bullets." Kneeling down and popping out the clips of both his guns, Nero began to insert a new clip into each, looking back towards the area they had just been in. "Hey, uh, are you sure those assholes can't trace you back here? It's not like you're exactly super well-hidden." Nero's tone of voice wouldn't sound too concerned, in fact, it'd sound a little too casual for such an important question. It may have seemed a bit silly to hide his concern, as the girl already knew he cared for her, but it still would seem odd for Nero to sound worried for another human being that wasn't Trojia or his family. Though, Nero imagined Cheri wouldn't even want to discuss these matters, as the girl seemed rather eager to get the deal over with and get on with her 'date.'

Just as she thought, there was little opposition after the point of breaking off with Koji. She was on high alert however, making sure that her new plaything wasn't slain in the process just because she personally didn't oversee his escape, which was odd since he was supposed to be the one who was out of sight the whole time anyway. Just how the hell did he botch that role, anyway? Regardless, she was confident in his ability, sure, but she was just a little... nervous. There was no telling what sort of rampage she might unleash upon this city if he ended up dead at any point.
Upon getting to her front door, she thought there was one appropriate action to take here. Perhaps she should summon some assistance a little sooner than she anticipated, but it would definitely be the easiest way to get the instant gratification of payback. After all, with this chunk of change, she wouldn't need another buyer for a while, so getting this one silenced permanently wouldn't be too big of an impact. It's a good thing she had a friend in a high place. She took a deep breath, closed her eyes, and prayed this really worked. 'Hey. My deal with Charles went sour. You know the one. If you could end his life for me, that would be great, or tell me where he is so I can do it later.' And then the wait.
Except, it would only be a few seconds. 'Oh, now you want me to kill him. Sure.' A telepathic message made its way back to the girl's mind. She grew excited. Nothing like impending bloodshed. 'Oh! And stick around, but out of sight? I need you to take someone somewhere for me later, but not until I have my way with him!' There would be a much longer delay before she received a reply. '...So, you found someone then? Great. Just let me know.' The girl knew she didn't need to reply again. But, everything was going according to plan. And of course, right on cue (if the chatter in her earpiece wasn't a big enough clue), the boy in question comes strolling up. "Nero! I'd jump and hug you but I might still be bleeding a little..."
Cheri-chan shook her head. That wasn't important now. "That particular buyer hasn't been an issue, but I guess he had trouble coming up with money. Oh well, I snagged whatever he had and my prototype, his loss. I'd say it went very well! I did give you a job where you were meant to not be spotted, so naturally things went wrong for you whenever who knows what happened to ever get you in trouble. Should've just slipped out, easy-peazy, and they'd still be chasing my decoy. Oh well. Your pay's the same. I'd just give you this, but I need it for research." It was a bit of a mouthful, as the girl bent down and sighed. Today's been a long day, she's definitely been waiting for this. She reached into her ear and slipped out the receiver and put it on the inside of her skirt, no doubt where a pocket-type-thing must've been.
"I'll be fine. Cheddar should be lying in a pool of blood at the moment. I made sure to get him good back there. As for us, well..." She said, turning around to reveal even bigger holes in her shirt where some blood accidentally streaked. How unfortunate. She turned her head to half-face Nero, continuing to talk to him in this position. "They ruined one of my nicer outfits, and it'll take about forty minutes to heal. I don't want to accidentally bleed later on you after all! Ooh, do you think you could brush my hair?" After which, she would begin to enter her house without motioning the boy to follow, as it should be automatic at that. At least, in the girl's opinion.
Once she was healed and such, perhaps she'd let him change her mangled clothes for her as well, and maybe partake in a more special reward, as promised earlier!

Hearing the girl's analysis of how the job went, Nero would stifle a laugh. He'd cut her a break since she didn't know the teen all too well, but things going wrong for him were never a mystery. The boy's luck was atrocious, making the fact he was able to make it out of most of his blunders with his head still attached quite the achievement. Sure, her decoy did save his ass near the end of his unpleasant encounter with Charlies men, but even if the fake Cheri wasn't there, Nero would have found another way out of the situation. He always did. Standing up and clipping his rifle on his dog's back, Nero would raise an eyebrow at the girl as she began talking about his rewards. Honestly, Nero wouldn't care which the girl would offer him first, as he looked forward to both the money and personal reward, but it seemed the latter would be happening first. Well, sort of. Cheri would need to heal first, but she did offer Nero the 'exciting' opportunity to brush her hair... She really had an odd form of foreplay. Shedding one of his trademark scowls, Nero would follow Cheri into her house, grunting while asking her where she kept her brush.
After the rough forty minutes she had quoted him, Nero would inspect the girl to see if she was good to go for their special reward. Fortunately, Cheri seemed to be completely healed, meaning Nero could finally stop taking part in the girl's awkward foreplay. Nero thought the brush was a little weird, but he would have gladly done that for the forty minutes instead of the ten he actually did. The teen would rather not say what exactly he was doing for the girl during the wait, but it became blatantly obvious she was the only one getting any thing out of it. Though, Nero would be lying if he said he didn't enjoy any of it, just not as much as the girl likely did. With Cheri good to go, the two would swiftly head up the stairs to Cheri's bedroom, Nero having to give his partner a signal not to follow them. Once upstairs, the two would begin to undress each other, leaving Nero feeling a little anxious. It was kind of odd, what started off as a baseless flirt towards the girl would get mentioned so much, Nero would actually end up looking forward to it in the end.
After they done undressing, the two would occupy the bed. For Nero, the reward was well worth the wait, making him a bit saddened that he would be leaving so soon. They could have been doing this the whole time, yet they wasted their time practicing their shooting? Perfect, that's exactly what the teen would want to remember while he was dying of heat in the desert. The cold hard fact that he could have had three days worth of 'rewards' instead of just the one he got on his last day with the girl.... If it was his last day.
Even though he was determined to leave for Agrabah, Cheri was somehow able to convince the boy to stay one last day (though it couldn't of been to much of a challenge to convince the boy, especially considering when she asked him) leaving a lot of extra time for Nero and Cheri to make up for the rewards they could have been having the span of the three days. After a day of fun, Nero and Cheri would begin to prepare for bed, actually sleeping in the same bed for once. It seemed the two were becoming rather close, if that wasn't obvious enough from what they spent the entire day doing.
Waking up the next morning, Nero and Cheri would preform the same routine they had for the last couple days, including the shared breakfast and shower. Though, Nero wouldn't seem as eager to get ready as he normally was, realizing that this would be the last time he'd be around the girl for a while. After all, Nero wasn't even sure how long he'd be gone or when he could even get back to the Radiant Garden, but he knew what this whole thing was. After getting dressed in his desert gear once more, Nero would sit on the girl's bed for a moment. Honestly, staying with the girl was awfully tempting, Koji seemed to like her, she had a good location for a house and they seemed to get along well enough, but he knew he couldn't. Cheri's life style may have worked for her, being able to stay in one place and call it home, but that wasn't for Nero. At least not at this point in his life. Still, Nero felt as if he owed the girl some sort of thanks, after all, she put up with his rude ass for a few days and gave him a place to stay when he had nowhere else to go, but that'd be out of character.
Opening his notebook, Nero would begin to sketch a cartoon drawing of himself, Cheri and Koji, all of them looking cute and cartoon-like, much like the style of drawing Nero had used to draw Cheri when they first met. Scribbling down 'Thank's for the fun' and his radio frequency number on the paper under the drawing, Nero would fold the small sheet of paper and leave it on the girl's bed. With how little Cheri actually was in her room, Nero thought that this seemed like the perfect place to hide his thank you note, as she'd probably find it by the time he'd be long gone. It was almost devious, making the girl think he wasn't even grateful, but he figured the payoff for when she found the note would be worth it. It's just too bad the boy wouldn't get see her face when she found the note. Heading down the stairs, Nero would meet the girl at her computer desk and rest his hands on her shoulders.
"Not that these couple days haven't been great, but I'm gonna need my payment so I can be off.... But before I go..." Nero would begin to play with the girl's hair a bit before continuing. "Are there any cereal boxes on the top shelf you need me to get done for you? I'm sure it's a pain in the ass to reach up so high for those things." Obviously, Nero was just teasing the girl, trying to get her hopes up for another reward, but instead shooting her down with a short joke like he did when they first met. Of course, the difference this time being the joke sounded far less hostile, sounding completely like what it was, a light-hearted joke. It was truly odd how Nero could go from not trusting this girl at all just three days ago to treating her as he would a good friend, but that was beside the point. Hopefully, Cheri wouldn't be too sad to see him go and his send-off could be as painless as possible, but Nero doubted this for some reason.

While the past couple days have indeed been the best time Cheri-chan's ever had in her life, she knew it was inevitable that he would be leaving soon. It actually sort-of surprised her when he decided to stick around another day, but that only solidified this girl's mentality. She was now attached to Nero like she was no other, and while in the short term that was probably amazing since the girl would be willing to do anything for him, but that included being willing to kill the competition. The one thing that scared her the most about him leaving is he might get preoccupied with some other girl, but luckily she had a bit of a trump card. This way, he would remain hers and always have a way to get back safely. [And time for another track change!] She couldn't me more in love, in fact. Still, knowing that she had a plan to reunite them in the near future, she would be oddly okay with letting her play thing off into the yonder. When he asked for his payment and to be off, she smiled deviously, not that he could really see. "There's one under my skirt I can't quite seem to get myself. Do you think if I had those pockets it would be easier?" her tone was the same sort of innocent, playful sarcastic he used, only meant to tease him a bit. But, all good things must come to an end. The girl took a deep breath. "There's a knapsack with the money on the kitchen counter. I've also arranged for your transportation-- JeY, he's ready to go." She would say the last part aloud, but internally she meant to transmit it to him. There would be a sudden breeze and behind Nero now was a man dressed in a dark outfit, a black shirt with a diagonal cyan stripe at the bottom with a dark gray over shirt and orange mirrored tribal dragons, a coil of alternating cyan and black cloth on his forearms and black pants. His hair was black with azure-colored tips and his eyes were concealed by a dark green blindfold with ornate gold-stitched patterns and a blue gem in the center. Besides the fact that his eyes were hidden, his expression was completely... blank. Cherika actually turned around now, to get a look at one of her more recent friends she also tried to sleep with; but unfortunately failed. She wasn't even close to the level of attachment however as she held with Nero. "So Nero, this is JeY. He's gonna take you where you need to go and stuff and then make sure you get back home safely when you're all done, okay? He might seem a little nasty and scary but he's not." She seemed cheerful about this intro, sounding even a little cutesy toward the end. Meanwhile, the man in front of them was a bit flattered. "That's awfully nice of you to say. Hello, Nero," he said, his voice rather monotone and lacking any sort of expression similarly to his face. He was always impossible to read, with a complete lack of emotion in nearly all regards, well, it was just unnatural. It still bothered Cherika even a little, but everything else about him was just... exciting. After all, the deal they made would make them life-long partners, though who benefitted more from the arrangement was left up to question. Of course, cheri-chan wouldn't leave the boy empty handed. She got up and leap onto Nero, giving him a bear hug of the ages. A few moments of silence during the hug later, she would say a few parting words while still latched onto him. "I expect you to come back in one piece, you hear? I'll not even tolerate a single chunk of skin missing." She sounded playful of course, but what might be alarming was how sure the girl sounded that Nero would be returning to her once this was all over with. Little did Nero know, he might not have a choice in the matter if he didn't want to come back. Or, never see Cherika again, since she would surely find him. Still, she would let him be a little free of course, as much as she hated the idea of letting him go for even a moment, she had to be realistic. Eventually she would literally let go of him and let him be on his way of course. Whenever the boy snagged his money and indicated that he needed to go to Agrabah, JeY would flick his arm into the air and cause a mass of swirling, neon-pink energy to form just beside him, it appeared in a circle and two roman-style columns appeared next to it, making it appear like a strange gateway made of energy. "Just step through and you'll be in Agrabah, then." His stoic voice was chilling, at the very least. Probably unsettling, even. Hopefully Nero understood the concept of a portal, anyway.

Laughing at Cheri's reference to all of his pocket jokes, Nero would rest his right hand on his chin and shake his head. "Anything to get my hand up your skirt, eh? Well, I think you had more than enough of that yesterday. I'll just take the munny this time." Though he'd joke back with the girl, she seemed to ignore it this time around, instead telling him where his payment was and that his transportation was someone named JeY? Who the hell was Jey? Nero would shoot the girl a glare, but he wouldn't be able to simply ask her who this JeY character was, as the man would appear directly behind Nero. Of course, his first instinct was to whip out his pistol, aim it to the strange-looking man's head and blow his damn head off, but Cheri made sure he knew not to. Explaining what JeY's business was with the boy would make Nero even more upset. What was he, ten? Why the hell did he need some jackass escorting him around Agrabah? To make matters worse, Cheri also said he'd be in charge of bringing Nero back home safely...
Nero didn't have a home, so where would this JeY character even be taking him after his business was done in Agrabah? Nero had a pretty good idea of where he would be trying to take Nero after the job was done, but he didn't like it. The teen couldn't care less when it came to anything the new person entering the room, so naturally, Nero would be rude to the man even when Jey was just saying hello. "Yeah, sure. Hello, asshole." Looking at the man's blank face, Nero would begin to hate this man even more. Not only was he the kind of person that appeared behind you, now Nero wouldn't even be able to read his body language? Well, this trip just got a lot more annoying. He was just expecting to get in, get his treasure and get the hell out, but now he'd have this guy supervising him? It was enough to make the want to pop a bullet in Cheri's head. Though, that didn't really mean much, as she'd just get if he had shot her.
Though, Cheri wouldn't give Nero enough time to even complain to her, as she essentially tackle the boy with a hug. Seeing as he wasn't really expecting the hug, Nero would wobble a bit, appearing to almost lost his balance, but then quickly straighten himself out. The hug was nice, but Nero became more concerned with the girl had said during the hug. She expected him back right after the job? Did the teen not make it clear that he wasn't a one-town kind of guy? This did confirm his earlier theory though, as he had assumed JeY would be there just to make sure he didn't try to get away from the crazed girl. Still, if what they had done the previous day was on the table when he got back from his desert trip, maybe it wouldn't be all bad, but it was still frustrating that she'd pull something like this on the boy. It also wasn't the worst to have someone actually seemed a little worried for him, but he was sure he'd end up hating having her worry about him if he really would be seeing this girl more than he thought.
After Nero was released from the girl's tight hug, he'd walk over to the counter to pick up his munny, then return to her and JeY. This is where Nero would really start to hate JeY, watching as the strange man would make a bright pink portal appear in front of the boy. Great job, Cheri. Not only had she forced a tour-guide on the boy, but it was a magic using tour-guide? She had to be trying to bug him! Turning back to the girl, Nero look a little aggravated. "Y'know, I already had a ride, but now it looks like your gonna have to go cancel it for me." Scribbling down some info in his notebook, Nero would tear out the page and hand it to the girl. "Her name's Becky, just give this to her, and that'll be that." Nero would attempt to turn away from her, only to have his eyes widen over the realization of the fact he had said a girl's name. "It's, uh, it's just strictly business between us. You don't need to cut off her head or anything!" letting out a nervous chuckle, Nero would turn back to his escort and shoot him a glare.
"Alright, some ground rules, Pink-Lemonade. Number one: don't touch my dog, Koji. Number two: don't touch me. Number three: stay the hell out of my way and don't interfere with my line of work. Can you handle all that, or do you need me to talk slower?" With each of Nero's conditions, he'd drop on of his three fingers he was holding up, making sure to leave the middle finger up as he name his last term. Whistling for his dog, Nero would kneel down and pet his mutt a bit. "Get in your good-byes to Cheri, were out of here in a second." Walking up to the girl and licking her hand, Koji would sit at the girl's feet for a bit, giving her time to say good-bye to him if she wished. He may have been a little irked at her when she threatened Nero, but that seemed to be water under the bridge to the dog.
After a few seconds of waiting, Koji would return to his master's side, still looking back at the girl. Nero would take a deep breathe, ready to step through the portal and get on with his next adventure, but before he did, the boy would turn to Cheri, holding up his right hand a bit and extending his five fingers. It may not of seemed like much, but this small wave was a pretty big gesture for Nero, as very few of the people he had met in his travels would even get it. Tapping his dog on the shoulder and pointing towards the portal, the duo would enter, waiting for their recently acquired tour-guide on the other side.

Oh, perfect. Already banging out the insults. Cherika pretended not to hear that, while the chaotic man raised his eyebrow (not that Nero could see that). The boy didn't seem to take too well to strangers, and even had a plan from being so perturbed by this incident. JeY could laugh if he was able to expression emotion in general, he couldn't care less what sorts of names he got. He didn't really want to be here, but he did owe Cherika a few favors. Apparently, shuttling people was going to be one of them. What a drag. Not to mention, she wanted JeY to make sure he stayed out of trouble. It's a good thing he had nothing better to do lately.
As Nero seemed to nervously mention his previous ride however, Cherika would only furrow her brow once he mentioned the 'strictly business' line. It wasn't awfully suspicious until he said that, but it still seemed that he cared enough that he wanted to assure Cheri-chan of the lack of competition. Well, that was good enough for her at least. Perhaps she could dig the truth out of this 'Becky' later herself anyway, but she wouldn't alert him to her plans of anything. "I'm well aware other females exist, Nero. Don't be so silly." She pretended to giggle as well, but that was her normal routine so it looked completely genuine. If she didn't give him anything to worry about, well, there would be no worries. Simple as that.
Though, Nero continued on trying to lay down some ground rules, triggering another urge to laugh that would be utterly wasted. JeY would find this one interesting enough to reply to, however, casually ignoring his childish middle-finger. "No need to repeat yourself, though I find it quite amusing that you think you're the one who makes the rules around here." His hidden eyes darted to Cherika, but he realized no one could see his subtle gesture, so he turned his whole head to face her as to indicate that no one was in control here except the girl herself. Odd, considering her bedroom habits. The dominated one is the one that actually has the most control here. It was an empty gesture, he basically wanted to say that Nero couldn't tell him what to do, but decided to be nice. Despite how powerful he was, he wasn't the one who was actually immortal. That's what he was paying this girl for.
Oh, and look! The dog wanted to say goodbye too. "Oh, Koji!" she exclaimed as the dog came upt o say goodbye. The girl didn't hesitate in showering the dog with all sorts of affection, petting here and scratching there, and giving him a little kiss on the top of his head. Truthfully, she loved Koji, and despite her obsessive nature didn't see the dog as an in-between for her and Nero either. Probably because he wasn't human. Still, it was a heartfelt goodbye. And then, they were gone. JeY was about to walk through, but thought he might give his two cents on the matter first.
"I'm honestly surprised anyone can get that close to you." He let out a single breath of dull laughter. "Yeah well, it doesn't matter. He's mine now and I won't ever need anything else in my life. Except the munny you bring in however, I technically need that, but if I had to choose--" JeY would cut the girl off in the interest of saving her the effort. "Whatever. I hope you didn't make a mistake." JeY stepped through the portal, making it close immediately behind him.
Then, for the first time in quite a long while now, the girl felt lonely. She finally met someone interesting enough to keep around, and subsequently grew a strong fondness for them. So strong, she'd be willing to put some hurting on this Becky person if she posed the tiniest threat. Oh, Nero could certainly interact with other girls, but no one would be allowed to have him. No one.
